what do you think toshiro's version of laios would've been like if he was still with the group during the shapeshifter shenanigans

there have been a few speculations in the tag and among the fans and they are all very good SO i am going to take this opportunity to insert a bit of my shipping bias as i like in my interpretation LMAO agdsfgdfgv

i noted that in actuality shuro seems to have a very good grasp on laios' character??? this is most obvious in the manga later on but even seeing how he criticises laios in their fight... iirc nothing he says is actually untrue or wildly exaggerated, and while he does express frustration over something he feels like laios Should have control over (noticing his cues), he is also aware that laios isnt being malicious and that hes Just Like That. what i mean to say is that while i think his version of laios may seem more pushy and in-your-face, i dont think it will be overwhelmingly so. if its post-fight, i think the idea of laios (and marcille) being willing to do anything to get falin back made a big impression on him, as well as the idea that they need to eat and rest in order to succeed in their goals, so those aspects would be prominent in his version. he seems pretty observant, so i think for the most part the physical traits would line up, but i think there would be specific things that stand out to him that would appear strangely striking on his version of laios (like. idk something about his eye colour or the subtle contrast of his armour and chainmail. he seems to have a weird sense of aesthetics if extras are anything to go by lmao). if hed actually been paying attention all those times laios had gone on about what the hell ever, then it might be even MORE hard to tell apart his version since he would also have a good grasp on what laios should know. so either his version of laios is pretty difficult to pick out, OR despite the character being accurate his appearance is too. stylised lmao (exaggerated features or something) OR!! they just get him to pull out his monster gourmet guide thing and are able to tell from there. iirc everyone was surprised at its appearance so its possible toshiro had also never seen it before

IN MY IMAGINARY SHIPPING SCENARIO............ lets say that his laios isnt able to be picked out immediately and that the monster guide thing also doesnt immediately occur to anyone. what the real laios Specifically notices is how close this other laios keeps getting to shuro. and hes like. ??? why is he getting so close to him, theres no way i get that close to him??? but no one else seems to be picking up on it as weird, so hes having a small crisis like do i REALLY get that close to him???? and now that hes on the outside he notices shuro subtly leaning away and he feels both a wave of shame and..... protectiveness??? (JEALOUSY??????) and he immediately steps in and grabs him like Hey!!! cant you see hes uncomfortable???? weve been through this already!!! and like. ok i cant believe im doing this again but i need to separate this into different endings

a) the whump route: i dont think shuro ever envisioned Actually Telling laios about his frustrations outside of being basically cornered into it. has he ever spoken up against what was expected of him?? has he ever been confrontational???? i think part of what held him back from expressing his frustrations, along with the cultural norms, could be fear of what the reaction would be. if he had done the same in any other aspect of his life (his family, his inheritance), i think he would expect disappointment, disapproval, more proof that he doesnt add up to expectation. to be honest i dont think he Truly believes that laios is the type of person to react like this. but it was strong enough to prevent him from acting and i think would be projected onto his image of laios. maybe fake!laios says something dismissive like Well if it really bothered him hed say something right? what, he cant even stand up for himself? cmon, shuro, prove that you cant handle it just like everything else. and thats pretty much the fastest giveaway that it isnt really laios. of course this would be a HUGE tonal departure from what the actual episode/chapter was, so:

b) the dumbass route: both laioses break into fisticuffs, and, yes.... barking. and so they speedrun the entire encounter as the shapeshifters true form appears and, after laios points out that thinking too hard about others versions of you can tear apart groups and peace of mind, they pointedly do not speak of it again. they think about it though. a LOT

c) the normal route: both laioses argue normal like and the group ends up being able to tell them apart because the fake laios goes on a little too long about how theyre all here for falin and everyones like ok its not like he DOESNT love his sister but.......... the rest of the scenario probably goes like canon, though then i would want to see what everyone Else thought of shuro

hey anon! short answer? yeah, I have imagined myself in the same situations I put my whumpees in— I kind of need to in order to for my writing process. How would I react if I was trapped with someone who wanted information? What details would I notice? does the zip tie cut against skin, is the light swinging or still, what’s louder, my breathing or my heartbeat? How would I panic, would i try to stay calm, what kind of front would I put up? How would I feel physically and emotionally? So being able to imagine the scenario as the whumpee lets me flesh out the scenes and the characters.

But I wouldn’t want to actually be in the situation™️ or experience the shit I put my whumpees through. I will say that my answer isn’t universal and some people would for varying reasons and it’s a normal thing!

anon, i adore you for this ask because i love chemtrails over the country club (and lana's music in general).

i'm not surprised that people would try to apply this song to katara and aang because yes, at a surface level it's relevant to them for obvious reasons (water vs. wind), but i agree that the lyrics have far more depth than this.

first, we have to look at the context of the lyrics within the song. "you're in the wind, i'm in the water" presents a romanticized view of the separation of two lovers, just as the two elements brush past each other but never become one. this theme of separation is seen throughout the rest of the song as lana contrasts the privileged bubble of suburbia with the harsh reality of society, the darkness lurking behind a beautiful front.

likewise, zuko and katara have similar character arcs that revolve around an awakening to the harsh truths of society. zuko learns that the beauty and the power of the fire nation is just a facade, hiding the extreme cruelty of its colonialism and imperalism that has hurt all people (which goes hand-in-hand with zuko unlearning the abuse from his father, the personification of the fire nation itself). katara's arc involves a similar type of awakening, as she unlearns some of the dichotomous thinking she's held around the fire nation. her experiences with jet, hama, the sexism of the northern water tribe, the fire nation village in the painted lady, and even zuko show her the complexities of the war and teach her that people aren't always as simple as "good" or "evil." essentially, both zuko and katara undergo parallel character arcs that fundamentally change their worldview, reflective of the theme of chemtrails over the country club.

additionally, the "wind" and "water" that symbolize the separation of the two lovers in the song is also reminiscent of zuko and katara's journey - the two characters that have been pitted against each other from the beginning of the show, their opposing goals of protecting the avatar vs. capturing the avatar, daughter of the chieftain of the southern water tribe vs. prince of the fire nation, and the two characters that end every season finale in an climactic fight scene (first on opposing sides, then on the same side). and if you want an even more bittersweet perspective, there's also the fact that they are doomed by the narrative, two lovers who never end up together in this lifetime, fated to be separated.

if we want to look further into the song, i've also seen the lyric "nobody's son, nobody's daughter" being superficially applied to aang and katara as they have both experienced loss, but again, in the context of the actual show, it's katara and zuko who are repeatedly paralleled with this connection of losing their mothers and being separated from their fathers. katara discusses her grief over losing kya with haru, jet, and aang, but it's only her and zuko's connection over this that carries actual narrative weight in the story. and katara is the only person that zuko discusses the loss of his mother with. so it only makes sense that all of these narrative parallels culminate in the southern raiders, an episode vital to katara's character arc in which zuko is a crucial supporting character. you could also argue this ties in with the overall theme of separation in the song - being separated from your parentage and having to forge your own path.

finally, as a fun little addition, one of the other lyrics in the song is "my moon's in leo, my cancer is sun." and hmm, who are the two characters we typically associate with the moon and sun? (hint: "you rise with the moon, i rise with the sun"). but wait - it goes even deeper than that. i am most definitely not an expert on zodiac signs, but according to some basic googling, leo (a fire element) is typically ruled by the sun, while cancer (a water element) is typically ruled by the moon. by switching up what elements we typically associate with the signs, lana is reflecting on the duality and the unpredictability of herself like how she reflects on the duality of society earlier in the song. and similarly, zuko and katara undergo dual character arcs bound by elemental symbolism. despite being a waterbender, katara also personifies the element of fire - the element of passion, power, and will - as she stands up against injustice and refuses to back down from a fight. and despite being a firebender, zuko's arc also personifies the element of water - the element of change and adaptability - as zuko's perception of himself, his father, and the fire nation changes over time. they are both water and fire, both moon and sun, both yin and yang.

That scene where Varadha lays his head on Deva's lap , especially the part where Deva puts his hand on varadha's chest, it is shown and shot through a veil-ish, net/rope whatever thingy which gives it an illusion of intimacy and privacy. Like there was no need for that split second scene but Mr. Blue directed it that way intentionally.

Also, Mr. Blue (in his barely colored world) really hammered it home with all the parallels between Varadha and Aadhya just to show that Varadha is the ideal one for Deva and not her. I loved that you talked about this too in your blog. You're doing amazing work with all the gifs and short fics. Kudos.

I think part of the reason why everything not going according to the plan (see ugramm plot that got adaptated to Salaar) with Aadhya and Deva, it's because of Prithviraj Sukumaran himself 😂 Prashanth said in Rajamouli interview that he changed so many thing about their background and give more depth to Varadha and Deva's background relationship because of the way Prithvi act as Varadha. I know he meant as with their character. Prabhas is not a new actor he has played so many roles so he must be the one who knows the most how his own character would feel. So that's why when we watch Salaar we could feel how much Deva loves Varadha because that's exactly what Prabhas (and Prithviraj) were trying to convey about their characters. Shockwave having his spike locked in a cage and a vibrator in his valve probably all started from an off hand comment about him having just as much self control as Soundwave, and Soundwave (rightfully) calling his bluff. Shockwave is much more into exhibitionism than Soundwave so if he had his way he’d have the vibrator on full during command meetings and other public duty shifts, Soundwave ever a beacon of professionalism (on Decepticon standards) compromised at half. Soundwave does however enjoy bringing Shockwave into an empty room and ‘testing’ the cage, just to make sure it hasn’t slipped or anything. And during Soundwaves breaks he’ll have Shockwave keeps his panels open so he can see the cage as he goes about the lab

I wouldn’t say either of them are into humiliation massively, Shockwave is rather neutral about it as a concept and Soundwave can only receive it in very specific scenarios, but he doesn’t mind giving it out every so often. In this situation Soundwave does get a little power trip from calling Shockwave pathetic for his lack of self control and having him sit there with his cage on whilst Soundwave overloads onto his chest

So I think I've mentioned before, but Scar didn't grow up alongside vexes (other than Cub), so he's very new to all these instincts, but they are something he sort of has to lean on in order to survive sometimes. Even if they're new and scary and often uncharacteristically violent for him.

For starters, though, he can be overwhelmingly protective, almost possessive, and especially after the events with Juni. Scar doesn't trust a soul after that. Low growls and spectral wings flaring out angrily. Claws at the ready.

And then there's the biting... lol snippet from an rp a few weeks ago: (If someone had tried to tell him he’d be this into biting a year ago, he’d have thought they were crazy. And yet now it has such a sway on him, making him reconsider how capable he is of continuing this little ruse.)

It's not necessarily a violent thing. It's more about claim, about showing affection with his teeth. Visible mementos. Bragging to the world about their bond. (It was their thing long before Scar knew it was a vex thing. Predator and prey. Trust and vulnerability.)

I'd say the longer Scar stays at the Vex Commune, he also grows more emotional in a sense. Vexes channel their emotions for power, and now he's around many vex who do this on the regular. For instance, Nico's is effortless, constant, casual. Kane's is loud, rash, sudden. Scar is being influenced by those of his kind now, for better or for worse.

It's actually Nadia, who we've briefly mentioned, who wants Scar to stay true to himself before all else. To continue drawing power from love and virtue, lest he lose what makes him who he is.

I like can't remember what I've already said so if some repeat pls don't be mad:

Tommy occasionally thinks of trying to branch out industry wise and maybe do a tour but he's paranoid about leaving Vegas

None of them really picked up chems before the Strip. It's not a taboo but getting body issues or withdrawal while having to wander around the Mojave wastes is not bueno.

Swank is well liked by the other casinos even if he doesn't care for them. He's always cordial mainly cause he's scared of being killed or cooked by the other two

Benny has very nice handwriting. He can mimic script but he can't read it.

Tommy practically lives in the theater due to how busy he always is and it's kinda treated as a separate establishment. House sends messages to him (not Ben or Swank) about its entertainers

Honestly, if Benny had told them sooner they may have helped him but at the same time they would've been pissed he's already back on his bullshit

Swank misses the old days the most and Tommy the least. His only complaint is the songs don't hit the same as they did with outside acoustics.

Swank, Tommy, and Benny have matching tattoos from the Boot Rider days that signified they were like a set scouting team (Pls don't ask of what I am still ironing that out)

Any ending where Benny is killed Swank mourns as I feel they were super close. Tommy isn't indifferent but he always half-joked Benny's ambition would lead him to an early grave.

All their suits are gaudy and they only act like Benny's is the worst cause he has copies. Swank has an atrocious pinstripe suit and Tommy's is like chromatic. Eye sores, all of them

They are wary of House and Benny's relationship cause while Benny doesn't notice House's weird sentiments about him they do. It's little things about how Benny mentions House compares him to a son and successor and how much stress he puts the Tops under. They prefer House's silence to his usual "doting" just cause it's less weird and Benny seems more himself when he's not actively checking in with House

Benny trusts their judgement a lot more than he'd ever let on and a lot of his choices as the Head of the Chairmen come from taking their little comments into consideration

21. Bound/Cuffed/Tied Up

S.Q. tried not to whimper.

The handcuffs weren't hurting exactly, but they brought back some especially painful memories. They were cold and stiff, and they brushed against the scars on his wrists from the last time he had been left... In the cave.

Shivering, he placed a hand on the rough wooden bench he was sitting on, trying to remind himself of where he was. He wasn't back there, in the damp, nasty, cold cave.

He was here. At the police station. It was hot here, almost sweltering, and very uncomfortable in an entirely different way. It was noisy where the island had been eerily silent. It was busy where the cave had been quickly emptied of people once he was chained up. It was brightly lit with harsh fluorescent lights and smelled chemically clean, which reminded him a little of the Institute. It had never been his favourite smell, and he much preferred the earthy mustiness of the cave, even though its comfort had lessened slightly after being attached to the memory of being left behind.

The only similarity was that he was alone. Again.

Upon being taken into custody, Mr. Curtain had been red-faced and angry, shouting and struggling against the officials until S.Q. could only assume he had been sedated. He had fallen quiet mid-snarl, and it was rather unsettling how quickly he had been silenced.

But, before that had happened, he had heard the man yelling about how none of it was his fault. He had asked multiple times for S.Q. to be questioned as a witness, stating that he would attest to Curtain's innocence.

S.Q. was doing his best to put on a brave face, to not give anything up, as Mr. Curtain would surely want, but he didn't know who to turn to with his mentor taken away. He had hardly spent a few hours away from Mr. Curtain's side since the incident on the island, and he wasn't entirely sure how to comport himself.

Without Mr. Curtain, he felt... empty.

He knew it wasn't Mr. Curtain's fault; he hadn't intentionally left him alone, unlike Mr. Benedict, but it was still uncomfortable. It felt as though there was a vacuum by his side, a black hole instead of the usual sun.

Maybe "sun" wasn't the right way to describe Mr. Curtain, but that's what it had always felt like for S.Q. He was bursting with energy, hot and furious, and he cast light on the parts of life that S.Q. was unsure about, creating a stark contrast between "right" and "wrong".

He wondered if he would ever feel that clarity again, or if they were taking Mr. Curtain somewhere he would never come back from.

That thought frightened him, and he jolted to his feet, ignoring the surprised cries from the officers who had been left to guard him.

"Mr. Curtain! Mr. Curtain!" He called, panicking as he stumbled his way towards the door that they had pulled Mr. Curtain through.

"Hey!" Someone shouted.

S.Q. let out a cry of shock as he was hit with a nightstick, falling to his knees as he was dragged back to the bench.

Miserably, he sagged back into a seated position on the bench, listening to the disgruntled murmurs of the officers around him as he stared at the door, waiting for Mr. Curtain to come back.

Since this Is the last part/book of the Fanfiction i wanted to ask if u would be 'retelling' the whole series like if u would have to rewrite the whole season (cuz that would be SO MUCH WORK ITS CRAZY😭) or if u will like stop at some point of thr 'og timeline' bcuz from there on its almost thr same as the original (ex: aang's final battlr w ozai or the last agni kai of Zuko n Azula)

so how much can nergal influence ppl? is it only for the disasters? or does he control everyone on the isles 24/7 disaster or not?

I guess I should clarify officially. Nergal is the living embodiment of the Cursed Idol. Of the three idols, he is bound to the Idol of Misfortune which is the one that we’ve seen many times in the show. The other two are The Idol of Blood and the Idol of Regeneration.

So Nergal is a god of bad luck and suffering. Basically he incites bad things to happen. He usually isn’t going to just straight up kill the residents of the Isles on his own, he prefers to set them up for failure and then throw something awful their way. He likes to make a whole production of it, he’s a bit of a showman and a trickster. However, he does get much more aggressive if his Idol is being compromised in any way. In these cases, he is more likely to actively go after the perpetrator and take them out himself. He’s a bit petty when messed with.

Sniffles went and made it personal.

His powers within the isles vary, he can can do something as direct as becoming a crack that chases someone down to as big as summoning storms and earthquakes to as small as making a door close and lock after someone has gone outside to play in the snow. He has passive bad luck and active bad luck. Passive is simply just unfortunate little things happening merely from his existence, while active influences are much more direct. The passive stuff does happen 24/7 while the direct things are more of whatever his focus is on at the moment.

Now there can be storms and other things that occur on their own without his influence. But you can bet he will gladly take advantage of those scenarios when they arise. Flippy is an example, Flippys condition was a thing before he was sent to the Isles. However, while Nergals influence is not what created Flippys “lycanthropy”, it does certainly aggravate it. His flip outs happen much more easily and frequently on the Isles. He also has a bit of an effect on the “squishiness” of the residents. Things that would normally be harmless are much less so under his effect.

With all this in mind, Nergal usually makes things happen for comedic effect. He likes for his misfortune to be fun and entertaining. It’s a big ol game to him. It may be his job but why shouldn’t he have some fun with it?

Even with how cheeky and playful he seems, he does have an awful temper. Of the three he is the most territorial and aggressive. He is a narcissist through and through, and does not take kindly to anyone who may challenge him. He takes a lot of pride in his work, and will try to convince you that his work is not “evil” but necessary.

To get down to business well uh iterators huh, so I can tell you have read some of my ramblings before (very fun) and I will say in general I stand by those ideas - model differences and stuff - with some smaller changes here and there, for instance I made pebbles antennas stupidly long cause I think it looks funny - plus tons of tiny refinements, but generally I dont have too much to add unless theres something specific your wondering about - so I wont focus to much on that. Instead I'm gonna chat a bit about the other stuff you mentioned (NSH and wire headwear) ^-^ so heres the guys! (I'm gonna expand a bit on their design designs)

Ok so you have actully managed to point out something I really hoped no one would notice, which is that I never draw No Significant Harrasment (NSH) - who I hope you meant when you asked about sig, if not then dont look at me - and that is because I despise him with my whole heart. Or well, his design, the character is fine but I cannot draw this guy, I hate his colour scheme and his stupid little cape and why is his head symbols green on green - who allowed this - and in general we are not friends, which is a pity because I have alot of headcanons about him. But as you can see above I have semi settled on a design for him (note the semi, I am not super happy about it) and I do have some toughts and explanations.

So first of, I put NSH as being from the same model generation as suns - so predecessing moon and pebs by a bit - with older designs that have a larger focus on "religious stuff" combined with the anchients overall bonkers fashion sense - more is more - if you wanna read more about that its in this post about suns.

- I would also, this is a side note btw, like to mention I think having them being older models gives room to have some key differences between the oldies (NSH and suns) and the youngsters-ish (moon and pebs) in that one, they have older machinery and also early machinery which means both rougher quality and more wear and tear - which I like to think give them both the idea of slugcats as messangers earlier than most, as they knew their easily damaged functions (broadcast masts for example) would not last forever, which gives them a reason to want to solve it (by breeding scugs I guess) and added onto that I - and this is pure headcanon and speculation - like to imagine a lot of the "taboos" that pebbles and moon have - or well that I speculate they have, the no killing yourself or harming citizens taboo is confirmed canon, but I dont think its farfetched to asume they have other restrictions programmed - something that would most likely be added in later modles, but would be absent in the earlier ones like suns and NSH (not the earliest models but early) which theoreticly would give them a bit more leeway and "creative freedom", which ok why am I talking about this back to why NSH looks like that. -

Back to that, so suns and NSH will share design similarities: lack of face (to represent a lack of ego), lots of robes and layers, which leads us into the slightly more relevant sidenote of iterator clotheing:

So fashion comes and goes in cycles, your mom rebeled against her grandmothers clothing choises and is horrified when that fashion comes back via her daughter who think it looks cool again (20 year old rule or whatever) and that also applies to iterator design (look at that old suns ask for more info on this). So while I have talked about general trends a little, now I wanna talk about waistlines - in robes, because I have wanted an exscuse to talk about it, I be brief promise!

: so like you probably havent noticed all my iterators have different waistlines, or at least the ones from different generations - ignore moon, I'm a no robe for moon beliver, I like to draw joints and wires to much to give her robes - and I will sadly report I have not looked to closely at actual anchient fashion for the choises I made, but well cant have everything. So the most notable is probably pebbles, where I, ok Imostly fell for temptation of a modern highwaist cut, which while moslty being about my own tatse, also is an atempt to convey some form of "modernity" because while its a bright orange robe on a robot, it has a similar cut to highwaisted jeans. Which gives the silhoute from a couple years ago with a big bulky upper body and stick legs. But pebbles isnt intresting in that way, no its because every other design is a resistence against that.

And this again leads into the cycles of fashion. Because we know iterators were built under many cycles - however long those are - so we can asume it will be kinda like how fashion has changed from the 11th centrury to now. Which gives to reason that iterators have been dressed differently too. This added with that - from what I understood - different iterator cities (colonies) had different cultures (boradcast, red, in sky islands) all this then makes me kinda figure that the iterators should have different robes. Yes that was a long winded way to say that characters look different.

So back to waistlines and how their all anti pebbles robes - the most notable difference is of course suns, who has no waistline. They are not only without to create a bigger difference between them and pebbles, but to also lean a bit on - and this might not be the same for every culture - but on the general idea that older clothes were more "modest" or in this case, there are more layers and any hints of there being a body under there is desperatly covered. and that "modern clothes" have less layers and have show more skin - not that pebble is showing skin, but hes wearing one robe instead of seven. So with that the idea that suns is older is conveyed a little bit at least, and the same then applies to NSH. NSH while also having lots of layers, is different from suns by having an empire waistline, mostly because I think their cute and need them to look different, but also to give a hint that they have different city fashion cultures and also because when I see empire waists i think old paintins and old paintings=old.

-also while I'm on the subject of cultural differences between iterator facilities. Can we talk about how we only really get to see anchient society as its presented in moon and pebbles (shared?) facility. So really its very possible the whole aestetic is complelty different like five local groups away. Food for thought. -

So faceless and robe-rich is a similarity between suns and NSH, and I could mention many more, but I'm gonna restrain myself and only talk about headphones. As you can tell I - and most fanartist here - like to draw their antennas differently for all of them! which is also canon, but I also ignored canon so were gonna talk about it. Mostly the antennas give room for some fun mini details, like how moons look like wings or fins while suns are just sunbeams.

Anyhow so most people make NSH bald, me included, mostly because the super cool official art of him gives him no antennas (sad). I asume that means he works via bluetooth.

(I was about to start speculating about their headphones but that got to boring even for me so sorry if your super intrested in why iterators probably have headphones)

But I had a ulterior motive with bringing up the headphones - and not only to be able to point out moons antenna, which I delight in drawing - but also so that I can transition into the second part of this way to long response! itertors hairdos... wire-dos? basicly this \/

(im reusing my wip because these are a pain to draw so we use what we have - I coloured them in a bit for better oversight.)

(also I was gonna start talking about if iterators would actully do personalisations like this - as we can argue about if they concepulize themself as their puppets and see a meaning to decorating them - I would argue yes but also its complicated- and also explain how iterators have different prefernces, which I realised most people probably already asume so I didnt need to explain that - anyhow so that got to long so I'm not gonna get into it. Instead were gonna go into this section with the assumptions that they do fun things with their wires. and also that the wires connect to their nape and backhead instead of their back or spine.)

So to me th biggest thing to remember when we talk about potetial wire headwear is that:

- iterators live 24/7 without gravity and because of that cannot be bothered by to heavy headwear, therefore theres rooms for them and anchients (and me) to get funky with it without having to concider gravity.

-anchients wore absurdly many decorations - and while giving iterators flashy decorations does take away from my earlier statement that they were based on more humble monk stuff, we are going to asume they used the fancy headwear for cermonies and festivals (which we also know anchients did) and that it was used for showcasing and fun. If some iterators preffered to keep them afterwards is another query.

So with that in mind lets break these headwear thingies down!! :D

so as you can (hopefully) tell there three components in the headwear. The headphones that are different depending on iterator and are not removable (or as unremovable a computer part can be). Then theres the actual headpieces that keeps the wires togheter. These can be switched out and changed depending on whats preffered - also I drew them in gold but any material works, if were being closer to canon they would probably be made of some purposed organism and maybe be neon pink - theres also pearls dangling from them because its a perfect opertunity. Third theres probably the part I think is the most fun which is the actual wires. They obviously go through the headpieces and then are set free via wiretassles (that also comes in different forms) and after that is where my own speculations about wires comes in. Which is really simple in that iterators can most probably move the wires at will - they can control their arm thing, pearls and other objects in their chambers, reasonably they can move the wires - and I think its fun if different iterators move them differently. Like suns keeps them straight and neat, or pebbles moves them in syncronized formations or moon who just lets them hang, so many oppertunities ok ( you can see the general idea in the drawing). The wires then connect to their movement arms and connect to the mainframe.

And thats kinda about it? I dont have like anything super intresting to say about just the hairdos other than that I think its very fun and also that everyone is sleeping on wire customizations I am obbsessed with the idea send help.

What are some things that Sokka and/or Suki do (unknowingly or otherwise) that get each other in the mood? Like little quirks or habits or clothes they wear or just random everyday stuff that makes the other go ��🥵🤤? (For example, maybe Suki drinking a milkshake or slurpee with her lips wrapped around the straw is just a bit too much for Sokka to handle. And maybe when Sokka takes his shirt off after a hot, sweaty workout, not matter how awkwardly he does it, Suki gets a little hot and flustered herself.)

Lord, have I really been sitting on this ask for nearly two years??

I need you to know, Dearest Anon, that it doesn't feel like I've let this ask go for so long because I have actually had it on my mind that entire time, wanting to answer it and waiting until a good enough answer surfaced.

But I think I was going about it the wrong way. I don't really have a lot of headcanons that exist independently of putting a guy in situations. And if I put a guy in enough situations, I might end up repeating similar ideas until they become headcanons (like my headcanon that Suki has a particular fondness for lotus seed buns).

So! It occurred to me that maybe the best way for me to answer this question would be to put these guys in a situation. And now, at long last, we have...Suki getting really turned on by Sokka cooking... 😏

Suki stepped off the back porch of the house, perched the steamer basket full of rice on her cocked hip, and bit her lip. Framed beautifully in her field of view, amidst a glorious backdrop of lush green foliage and the island’s tumbling, sparkling brook, was Sokka, standing over the makeshift grill he’d thrown together from a large cast iron pot and some wire mesh he’d gotten off one of the fishing boats. The air was fragrant with the savory sweet aroma of seared meat, Sokka expertly working the grill in a calculated dance between flame, timing, and seasoning. And Suki’s mouth was watering. 

“Hey there, grill master,” she crooned as she approached, abandoning the rice on the table that housed Sokka’s setup. She ran one hand over his shoulder, down his back, then lower still so she could squeeze a generous handful of ass cheek. 

He yelped before glancing at her out of the corner of his eye, one brow quirked in amusement. “Hungry?”

“Starved,” she said, sidling closer and pressing up against him from behind. Her hands quickly found his hip bones and traced the muscle there before teasing lower by just a few millimeters, and Sokka nearly dropped his tongs. 

“You know Mrs. Kotoji can see us from here…”

Suki turned her head towards her next door neighbor’s house just in time to see the shutters slam shut on one of the windows. “Nothing scandalous for her to see here,” she countered breezily. Then she found the slit in the side of Sokka’s tunic and traced her fingers down his thigh.

“Keep doin’ that and there might be,” he grunted, and Suki chuckled, dropping her forehead between Sokka’s shoulder blades as she laughed. 

“Listen…” she said coyly. With her head still resting against Sokka’s spine, she drew her hands slowly around his hips and up his flanks. “I know you’re still cooking, but once you’re done, you think you could…scandalize me a bit before we eat?”

Something clattered loudly while Sokka fumbled around with the grill, and then suddenly he was whirling around, gripping Suki’s waist and tugging her close. “Tui and La, woman… I will scandalize you so much, you’ll be reading about it in Ba Sing Se next year. In those scandal sheet things. That they circulate in the Upper Ring. Whatever, it made sense in my—” And he cut himself off by closing the distance between his mouth and hers. 

Suki threw her arms around his shoulders, laughing into him as he penguin-stepped them back towards the house. When they collided with one of the porch posts, Sokka used the opportunity to deepen the kiss, slotting one thigh between hers, creating delicious friction for them both. Suki moaned.

“So, you like the way I handle my meat, huh?” Sokka teased, breathy against her lips.

“Oh yeah,” Suki rasped, delighted, sneaking her eager hands back around to Sokka’s backside. “And now it’s my turn.”

When Emily joins the BAU JJ flirts with her cause she gets the gay vibe which sends Emily into an identity crisis because she finds JJ so attractive and gets all flustered and is like shit, this is how its supposed to be and JJ helps her through all the internalised homophobia and stuff

Okay, but I actually have an idea saved where Emily is closeted and/or doesn't know she's gay yet!

I love the idea of Emily being so tightly wound and desperate to please her mother that she straight up won't admit she's gay. JJ, on the other hand, raised herself, so she's just like "yeah, I'm gay lmao what about it?"

She flirts with Emily (but obvi respects her boundaries) until Emily finally breaks and just kisses JJ and is like "I think I'm gay!" and JJ is like "yay!"

of course, Emily would still have to work through a lot and JJ still has her fear of commitment and vulnerability. I think it'd be interesting to explore how JJ is openly gay, but very closeted with her feelings and Emily is nervous about breaking the "rules" and loving a woman, but she's also interested in talking and exploring her feelings.
