i haven’t done a lot of stuff with tylo, admittedly, but i’ll try to characterize them well :-)

26. who is prone to road rage?

tyler (if he had a car, which he doesn’t, because he’s poor) because he gets frustrated easily. he’ll put his head on the wheel and everything. logan is able to keep his head in pressuring situations and calms him down, but he gets frustrated too! he just hides it better.

no one lets tyler drive often.

30. pet names? yes or no?

i don’t think these two do pet names, actually! logan doesn’t want to feel like he’s pushing boundaries and tyler isn’t creative. eventually once they get more comfortable with each other i think logan would use the occasional “dear” and “hon” because that’s what his grandparents call each other. i just can’t see either of them using pet names, in any relationship…

I was able to do all of the hang out sessions just now, and I just gotta say... The writing for this game is just... phenomenal.

I genuinely cried. Mirabel's aroace speech hit so close to home. I felt every word. I couldn't even do her voice for that part, I just had to read the dialogue and feel it in my chest. And Isabeau's talk about changing himself, to be better, to feel better, so people would love him, and so he would love himself. This was the first time I not only teared up, but actually had tears rolling down my cheeks. I love these characters. I love them so much. I love this game. I love the story that it tells, how well-rounded each character is, the worldbuilding, everything about it. It's so perfect.

I don't really know what else to say about it... But I can't wait to play some more tomorrow, haha...

hard quiz tonight had a question about graham kennedy did he actually get banned from television because he imitated a crow or was it something else

OKAY it's way more complicated than that. He did a "crow call" in 1975 that sounded a lot like the word fuck. Channel 9 then immediately went to commercial break and then Bert Newton did the rest of the episode on his own. Graham was then banned from performing live, and a few months later was kicked from The Graham Kennedy Show and when he started Blankety Blanks he moved to Channel 10 (but I believe he did move back to Channel 9. Might be wrong though).

He had a complicated relationship with Channel 9 since that point. During the last years of life, he and his carers claimed that the Packer family had promised to help pay for his end of life care, and then they didn't do so. As far as I can see they had legitimate reason to believe those promises, but I haven't actually read anything much about it yet.

And the after he died, they refused to televise his funeral without being paid, because it would be too expensive, despite him and Bert Newton being the reason the channel became so popular in the first place, and him being the "king of Australian television" and all. Channel 7, in their only W, decided to do it instead.

A lot of this turmoil between him and Channel 9 and the Packer family can be traced back to the crow call incident (though it starts earlier. The elder Packer, who's name escapes me rn and I'm not gonna google it rn, was known to be pretty harsh on him as well).

But no, he wasn't banned from television for the crow call incident. He was a regular on Australian television (with regular "retirement" periods) up until the very early 90s.
