                    so   they   begin   to   spin   the   highly   embellished   tale   of   how   they   &&   Barbara   ended   up   lost   on   a   walk   together   before   getting   attacked   by   an   icy-cold   behemoth   with   tendrils   frozen   to   a   point   &&   an   unblinking   eye   that   seemed   to   taunt   her   with   every   attack   ( a   creature   that   sounds   suspiciously   like   a   cryo   regisvine. )   a   tale   of   friendship   overcoming   dire   circumstances   &&   a   fierce   battle   for   survival   that   the   two   only   narrowly   escaped   with   their   lives   ( so   they   say. )

they're never gonna let fischl and kaeya interact on screen for more than 5 seconds. one look at him and she's gonna recite his entire backstory and the game will have to end prematurely

It was an ordinary planet of land and sea, except the sea was filled with a bunch of alien-like creatures called Abyssals, whose sole purpose was to make life miserable for anyone who thought that sailing, fishing and cruises were decent ways to spend their time. Not to worry, though, for there existed a small group of (super?)humans called "fleet girls" who could go out to sea and use guns, torpedoes, planes, the whole lot to take the fight to the Abyssals. This particular naval base was the busiest of them all; most of the girls here were on patrol or training, though a few were resting for the moment, not least of which this one in a modified sailor suit, carrying an umbrella and three of the largest gun turrets ever fitted to a fleet girl.

Yamato's first instinct, upon seeing the other girl walking towards her, was that she might be a new fleet girl—perhaps a heavy cruiser, based on her build. "Hello there! Are you new to the naval base?" she greeted.

⠀⠀⠀⠀Everything about this world was similar but just simply different to what she was familiar with. Even the threat that imposed itself upon the world felt similar to what she once feared in her youth. An unknowable danger that exists beyond normal comprehension, threatening the world itself - battled through means and powers equally beyond expected limits.

⠀⠀⠀⠀More than anything, it's proof that no matter the world, the people will find their own way to adapt to the nightmares of their life - find a way to rise above the dangers and fight for the future they wanted.

⠀⠀⠀⠀Her arrival own arrival on the world so far seemed to be greeted with a surprisingly lax mentality, as if she had a similar origin to all of its current residents. She supposed that in a sense she could be seen that way, especially given the confidence she tends to carry herself with.

"My name's Fischl, and I just got here a few minutes ago. It's... Quite a bit different than what I expected, actually."

⠀⠀⠀⠀The 'fleet girls' themselves were fascinating - maybe Herta would be interested in hearing about this? She'll have to spend some time here and see if she can help out first before bringing it up, though.

Hullo hoyotunes i feel like this is gonna be a hard question to answer but I've been rly curious

if you had to select a song from each hoyo game as your fave of that game, which would you choose

ughhhh anon you're KILLING ME!!!!!! just ONE???????? i'm gonna treat this like one of those mental tests where you have to say the first thing that comes to mind but i promise you i'll be agonizing over my decisions in about 5 minutes

hsr: recently it's night of thrills so i wanna give it a shout out but realistically it's probably wildfire ajdkfjdfafkj like come ON

hi3: i haven't played this so i'm honestly just speedrunning the ost as i upload but so far i'd have to say its nightglow

zzz: 60% fantasy but the game isn't even a week old so i'm expecting more bangers to come :D

genshin: i rather you just shoot me dead but um...................... combat beneath the waves <3 i immediately thought of the enkanomiya and chenyu vale osts in general so i'm gonna give this to one of the best overworld combat tracks the game has ever given us (along with jolts in the forest). yu-peng chen really put his whole ass into these 4 minute tracks for a game where overworld combat lasts 30 seconds max
