but anyway, on that night u were cut from the line up

MY OVERALL THOUGHTS ON THE WOODS:

It’s indeed a good short film, I’ll tell ya that! Though because the film was done in 23 minutes, I assume due to time constraints with the budgets and such, I won’t touch too much upon the main and sub plots and characters, as making connections with the characters or not. I personally feel like with the Woods being filmed for only 23 minutes, one shouldn’t be too harsh on how the plotline wouldn’t make a lot of sense as it was needed to be fleshed out more or how the characters are bland, something along the line.

The acting was wonderful, though kudos to Mimi and James for making the certain scenes more emotional than it should’ve asdasdfasf ( which isn’t much of a surprise because James’ known to do acting, though I’m not too familiar with Mimi so I don’t know about her, but despite the shoutouts, everyone did awesome regardless ).

Makeups are mmmm 👌👌👌 — also that demon though, omg, I’m just grateful its’ appearance design didn’t give me any nightmares when I went back to sleep after watching the film, but I really like the design to it.

They did a pretty good job on making the scenes not being too short or long.

Good music choices. Definitely fits along with where the scenes goes.

I don’t really hold a lot of expectations from plotlines of the films ( an hour/two hour or less ) that holds horror elements to it since it’s pretty predictable what would happen ( also the Woods sort of gives me that Until Dawn vibe, oooo ), BUT when Steven, James and Mimi were escaping from the woods, it still got me tensed anyway as bOI where the Hell was that fucking demon and I don’t want Steven, James and/or Mimi to die as well, y’know???? Also the ending????????? I seriously didn’t expect that. At all.

Do I even need to comment on the visuals/choreography? God, does it deserve an award for having an amazing choreography.

I’ll most likely add more into this post as I probably forget a bunch, but final thoughts??? I’m extremely proud of the Pine Crew. Really, I personally don’t care that much of how good the film was done as in the plotlines, characters, pacing, etc, and all of that professional stuff. I just love how they’re experiencing something different and new than what they usually do in their channel, and the fact they filmed all of this with such passion and love into it for three days only and it’s their first film is phenomenal. I extremely hope they’ll be able to do a next film, maybe even for Christmas, but!!! Despite the cliche plots and bland characters, the Woods is a good film that was created with a lovely amount of enthusiasm and effort into it nevertheless, and I love it so much. It definitely made this year’s October more meaningful to me.

my time period as a fan / ah.. it hasn’t been that long tbh ;//; probably around may 2017 when i started looking into the group. it was honestly all thanks to idol battle likes!! i watched it for the purpose of seeing got7 as guests on there, but lo and behold did my eyes catch another pair of handsome ones and they were eunwoo’s sdjddks then i remembered he’s part of this group my friend had hyped me about last year actually, but i never got around to checking them out at that time!! so this time i did, and i don’t regret it one bit !! 

my bias among the members & why / i think it’s almost obvious that it’s cha eunwoo ;~; (i like to call him by his real name - lee dongmin - bec i want to feel special sjsd) apart from the way he caught my attention (& my heart) as a host for idol battle likes, there’s this certain gentle yet charming aura about him.. i can kinda relate it to jinyoung and how i decided to ult him too !! he has that gentleman vibe going on + he seems to be the most stable and firm member in the group in terms of personalities and presences… but i can also sense that dongmin has a softer and more vulnerable side to him that he likes to control in regards to having it exposed which swoons me over ;;; this is getting long but u get the point hhhshshs

favorite song / i rly rly like should’ve held on/again !!! it’s not their usual style which makes it special to me, i think?? and their individual voices in there matches the song perfectly ~favorite mv / baby!!! it fits my aesthetic sososo muchsdkff they all look SO GOOD with their corresponding colors and symbols sdjdnkd and you can just see how grown up they’ve become after such a short period of time my babies ;;;favorite choreo / should’ve held on/again !!!! i mean, don’t get me wrong, astro is known to be perfectly in sync in every choreo !!! but this one in particular just gives me heart attacks ;;;favorite era / i wasn’t actively a stan during their old eras,,, so i guess i’m going with baby era !!cutest member / yoon sanha don’t fite me on thissexiest member / minhyuk i mean hello have u seen those thighs !! and tHAT SHARP JAWLINE CUT ME SKDDbest friend member / my tiny hyung myungjun he’s so fun for his age considering he has the largest age gap among them dskfjbest smile / cha eunwoo hello,,,,favorite rapper / stop!! i like minhyuk and jinjin all the same favorite vocalist / aaa sdkjdsds i’m…. i gotta say binnie !!! altho the difference between him and myungjun and sanha and dongmin aren’t that big, but his voice takes me to the heavens ;;;favorite dancer / minhyuk and binnie !!what i see for them in the future / for astro!! i expect SO many amazing opportunities for these cuties !!! as a rookie group, i think they’re actually doing so well and are on the right path to success?? i mean, they have astroad happening super super soon and i only see a lot of those solo concerts and hopefully their first win on a music show !!! it’s only a matter of time until everyone can fully realize astro’s potential, and i’m so so excited for it~ not only that, i’m hyped for their individual activities and i’m already glad for dongmin’s acting career sprouting in a positive light - but i also would like to see the other members getting their own chance of spotlight, which i know will happen soon enough. i luv my babies and i can’t wait for what the future holds for them, but i’m sure it’s as bright as their souls.

Welp. So this isn't Third. Not just anyway, but I needed to say this and... after deliberating... i figured it wouldn't be good to bring up *to* Trix. Um.

When they asked what they'd have to do to stay with me, this is what I said.

Most of it i meant. I wouldn't be okay with them keeping a relationship with Luna after what they did. Obviously I wouldn't be okay with them lying. Obviously they'd have to spend time with me and help me fix our issues.

Everything except the first would be expected in *any* relationship. And the first one is circumstantial, and could have been avoided but wasn't. And that wasn't my decision. I don't think I could trust them if they kept hanging around Luna even if they started treating me decently.

But the thing I've been agonizing over is the "too invasive for a normal relationship" line. I didn't mean that. What I meant was if they canceled on me, they'd have to give me good reason to believe them. And not some throwaway Mom Needs Help line.

I was never gonna try to be some hovering shitbag who didn't let them have their own life.

But by the time i was calm enough to realize what i had really said, they'd already made it clear that they didn't think it was worth it to try w me. I dont know why. But the only thing I can assume is that I wasn't worth it to them to effect their irl life at all.

Sucks.

I get that some people don't wanna do long distance relationships. But they never said that. They just... broke my heart while pretending like they Would Never do that.

But anyway, yeah. I needed to get out that. I have no interest in over monitoring a partner ever. That isnt trust. And I need trust in a relationship.

Ig what i was tryna say was that i wouldn't automatically trust them if they chose me. That they'd have to build it back up. But i worded that horribly.

Heh, i actually almost sent this *to* them yesterday. I think it's probably best I didn't. They weren't really ever very willing to have serious discussions with me, much less honest ones. So I don't think they'd want to at all now that we aren't even together.
