I think, perhaps one of the funniest things to come from EPIC popularising the Odyssey is that now a ton of people think Poseidon wanted to kill Odysseus.

In the Odyssey, Poseidon has no intention of killing Odysseus. In fact, part of the whole reason Zeus lets Poseidon do whatever he wants even though he thinks Odysseus is rad and should get to kiss his wife is explicitly because Poseidon had no intentions of killing Odysseus. Poseidon wanted to pay back the suffering/inconvenience blinding Polyphemus would have caused. It's a really abstract thing tbh. How do you pay back someone permanently disabling your son? Poseidon's solution was just to amputate Odysseus from his other half; i.e. Penelope. The end game was never murder, it was always an endurance race.

now, after burning in cola-lava turbo is basically dead, but scraps of his code still were intertwined with the trophy (after all, it was his first winner's cup, but felix never knew about it), giving turbo an opportunity to exist as a shadow incapable of interacting with anything and anyone besides felix, who kept the trophy even after the roadblasters incident

This whole submarine situation is a grim reminder that safety features are there for SAFETY rather than inconvenience, and that regulations are often written in blood.

The juxtaposition of the company going from "isn't it great that we built such a cost effective submersible without having to deal with clunky equipment or pesky regulations" to "we regret to inform you that 5 passengers including our CEO are sealed inside a death pod with very little chance of rescue" is absolutely haunting but is an outcome that you could have seen coming from miles away unlike the submersible due to a lack of safety features

She said it wasn't intended as fanservice and said all dwarves look cool, if you read the manga the Senshi pantyshots aren't really very fanservicy like they are in the anime, just compare how trigger shows full sweaty thighs and bulge compared to the manga where it's just a gag or a "as matter of fact" lower view of him. (Still hot but there's no sweat no exaggerated muscles no peeking under your skirt camera angle. There's a difference in framing between fanservice and undressed people)
