Okay so I'm realizing I've never posted anything about the soriel fic I'm working on here so here you go 😭 it's kinda my first fic so it's not the greatest, and it's also still unfinished. I might start posting updates about it here idk.

It's VERY on the fluffy side but I promise it'll get more angtsy or whatever the opposite of fluff is. I'm not sure how long it's gonna be but expect at least 8 or 9 chapters with this one.

BLOG!!! (For short LUW)

This AU is my own idea. There may be some questions you may ask yourself, but first let me explain what this blog is for.

This post is the main one, I recommend checking it if you're new to this AU. Here I'll post everything Luci's Underwitch related. Or almost everything. I'll try. (I may have missed some art from my main acc, it is @artsycrow46)

Also, if you want to ask any character anything, on @lucisunderwitchasks you can ask them! Edit: The account was deleted and moved here(i have way too many accounts so I need to do some cleaning from time to time)

Let me give you a brief explanation of the AU. Luci's Underwitch is an AU where all monsters are actually humanized, being called Witches. Frisk is 12 during their travel around the Underground, doing the Pacifist Run, and in the end, accepting the job as the ambassador of Witches, but going 'home' to their dad. Chara fallows them pretty much everywhere, and likes Frisk very much, being besties.

Now several months fast forward, Frisk lives with the Dreemurr Family. Asriel (11 y/o) and Kris(5 y/o) are their siblings, and Toriel takes care of all of them, dating Sans (mhm, I'm one of them Soriel shipers).

Ten years later, Frisk and Asriel are at college, and Kris found out about the Dark Worlds!.. The year now it's 2025, and Kris with Susie are now at their homes, waiting for their siblings to come back from college for Easter! Scarlett is one of Frisk's best friends, maybe even more than friends! And Asriel is still single since he's autistic as fvck.

Toghether, Frisk (with Chara ofc), Kris, Asriel, Susie and Ralsei are going into a steampunk adventure in Frisk's closet.(all of this is happening after Chapter 2. I am going to play the next Chapters when they're out, and add them to another fanfic)

'kay, the explanation wasn't that brief. I am going to make a comic about it, but I am still learning about how to draw perspective and hair sooooooo y'all won't get this soon.

I have two fanfics on the way with this AU, and a third one might appear after I finish the second.

The main fanfic is called Lost Souls, The First Part explaining different events from Frisk's life after they got out of the Underground, and The Second Part is going to fallow the two humans into the closet adventure! (The closet has nothing to do with lgbt, but the fanfic surely has a bunch of lgbt in it)

Now the third fanfic. It's going to be called Runes And Adventures. It's going to be abt Kris in the dark world, during Chapter 1-2. The Chapters 3-4 are going to get a separate fanfic, since they're gonna be AFTER the steampunk adventure. I am not even working on how to write it or any ideas, since it's going to take a long time, and it's not the biggest deal. I might not write it at all, since you get to see most of Kris's interactions in the game already, but who knows?

I got inspired to make this AU after I finished TOH(The Owl House), and also I liked the idea of humans with magic that UnderMate has. So yeah, I kinda combined those two with Undertale and my creativity, and I got this AU!

Fai's Fic Ramble: The GorseTale AU (bare basics)

Ever since roughly... 2017 I think, there been a single Undertale fanfic I've been tapping away at and though it's nowhere near done or even organised enough for me to think about posting chapter 1 on A03, I recently posted a spinoff fic related to it called Eight Coloured Picture about the deaths of all the fallen humans and how some monsters each time were effected by their passing, and well.

I wanna ramble about the main story that fic comes from for a bit!

So.

Working Title: 'Gorse, Blackthorn and Buttercups' I also call it GorseTale in my head for short since Gaijin Goombah's rather fun video on why Undertale's Golden Flowers are most likely Gorse was a HUGE inspiration for the fic back when I started out (it's er changed quiet a bit since then but I'm keeping the flower vibes because Chara likes them and I did way too much research into both practical and symbolic uses for plants in the Underground for this fic not to use at least some of it at some point XD).

Core premise: Story is a Slice of Life/Drama AU set around Frisk being born in the Underground and taken in by Toriel right around the time of 'Undertale canon' (for Undertale Yellow fans, roughly a year or so after Clover's death), and through a series of domino effects stemming from that, various monsters of the Underground are confronted with the flaws of both themselves and their kingdom, and as a result start putting in effort to try fixing things so the little human child they've become so attached to can actually live their life to the fullest without fear of being murdered just for being born a non monster.

Aka: Toriel and Sans experience the joys and terror of co-parenting a child who only survives past the age of 3 because they have phenomenal cosmic power. Papyrus discovers the Royal Guard is NOT in fact something he wants to join (and accidentally becomes politically active in an effort to right by his new nibbling). Undyne takes some time to really rethink her career path and motives. Alphys somehow manages to turn former mistakes into miracles (oh and cures death maybe). Mettaton learns to take time off and share the spotlight, and finally King Asgore gets a surprising amount of hope in encouraging peaceful rebellion against his own accidental dictatorship.

Main cast: Rotates a bit since every major monster (and Flowey) matters in this and who's most in focus depends on the exact arc but Toriel, Sans, Papyrus, Chara and Frisk are the ones who I have the most planned scenes for since well, they're where the 'domino effect' starts.

Ships: Fic is pretty gen for the most part but leaning Undyne/Alphys, Papyrus/Mettaton (who knew all Paps needed to become popular was to openly try convincing monster kind that killing all the humans is wrong in front of a very specific underground star XD), and some very very very slowburn Sans/Toriel (is teased throughout the story because Sans IS Frisk's other parent Sans just means 'Dad' in Frisk speak and I find various Monsters' "Wait Sans has a kid- Wait Sans is married?!" reactions hilarious (Paps giving 'context' to why he suddenly has a nibbling to Undyne especially) but actual, real Soriel doesn't happen until near the very end because Toriel is Not Ok, Sans leans AroAce/Demi and both agree that while the odd kiss, hug or 'real talk' is fine neither up for anything more than that right now. Also Toriel has yet to get a formal divorce and er, she can't even think of him for much of the fic without wanting to set him on fire so... Yeah). Also considering Mad Mewmew/Asgore (because funny but also oddly sweet), and Mettaton trying to get over a crush on Alphys at the start (due to Mettaton's Winter Alarmclock dialogue reframing all of Mettaton's actions in canon in a whole newlight for me), but for the most part romance really isn't a focus.

Things to set it apart from every other 'Frisk grows up in the Underground' fanfic:

A LOT of worldbuilding focus on stuff how monsters get food and materials.

Toriel teaching everyone how Monster society was before the War vs now (aka lots of cultural trauma themes here).

More emphasis on how little Monster society these days really knows about things they really should given their Kingdom's plans.

Sans 'timeline trauma' getting tossed out the window for joining Toriel in 'worried parent' stress (hard to be upset about LOADS when they're specifically stopping a toddler you love from getting murdered).

Papyrus accidentally making everything better just because for the sake of his nibblet he can't back down.

FLOWER SYMBOLISM AND DISCUSSING THE UNDERGROUND'S VERY IMPORTANT PLANT LIFE!

Undyne having a character growth arc triggered by Papyrus.

Mettaton having a character growth arc triggered by Papyrus (and a passing mention of Napstablook).

Alphys not being fired post Amalgamite reveal making her realize she has in fact actually kinda created the cure for death (by 'Falling Down') or at the very least is only maybe three steps away from that and actually works on that alongside a bunch of other stuff with other scientists because working alone sucked.

Lots of focus on the humans who fell before Frisk because their lives mattered! and also the Blue Soul was Kris because damn if I don't feel the need to really hammer in Toriel's trauma caused by Asgore here

NarraChara and Napstablook being ghost buddies =D they suck at it but Chara will take literally anyone who can hear them for company and Napstablook feels bad about that

Snowdin being secretly a hub of human sympathisers! (None of them knew they weren't the only ones).

MONSTER RADIO and ANIME/WESTERNS ON TV!

Tems and the Riverperson mattering while still being true to their very weird selves!!!

Asgore learning that he DOES in fact have a lot of influence and that maybe, juuust maybe, that his screw ups were worse for his Kingdom than he already thought (don't worry Asgore fans, despite my having to write a lot of Asgore grr due to Toriel being a major character, saving him and showing how much he loves his people is a major goal of mine &lt;3). He still f%cked up majorly though XD

Frisk dealing with, well, the stress of growing up in a place that says their death would make everyone (except their immediate loved ones) happy and constantly having to live in hiding/disguise...

Flowey being a murderous little shit but also not having reset power and both Frisk and Chara in his life again.

Undertale Yellow and Deltarune characters! Who probably won't be in focus a lot but they've helped me out a ton for fleshing the out my setting so I will 100% be giving them at least a little screen time to make up for that (like Amalgamate Kanako playing with Frisk, and Martlet and Noelle being VERY interesting in Papyrus's 'Lets not kill the humans' movement for reasons our main characters will eventually learn &lt;3).

Oh and a huge amount of 'Unseen in game' areas I made for the Underground which include:

SnowDen: a 'town' of Dog and Rabbit made tunnels underneath the ENTIRE Snowdin region (connects to every dog sentry post, the 'Toby Fox secret area' and the 'very efficiently laid out' travel tunnels seen in canon Undertale). Generally requires those living there to get through given how winding and confusing the tunnels can get (all guideposts are puzzles made with scent markers...).

TooHot: basically a 'lethal lava land' housing district for fire monsters below general Hotland. Predates the Wat and is too hot for most non fire monsters to go anywhere near (the current name was given by Asgore though).

Cliffstop: a 'thin' vertical crevice monsters in New Home unearthed a while back that goes from from all the way to the very top of Mt Ebott down to the dark of the Abyss below (locals there call the top of the area Clifftop and the lowest safe for travel Cliffdrop). Gets a fair bit of sun and has flying room so it's popular with plant and flying monsters but the cliffs are very unstable so the bottom is covered in rope nets to prevent accidents. Most puzzles about the place are moving rope bridges, loading up vertical conveyer belts with the correct weights and 'light and mirror' puzzles.

Riverfolk Waterway and True Tem Village: settlements hidden deep within Waterfall's 'unreachable in canon' winding waterways. The former is a small inlet where 'Riverfolk' monsters like the Riverperson have a small collection of boathouses they dock at, and the later is exactly what is sounds like, with the 'Temmie Village' we see in canon being merely a Temmie trading outpost. Can accessed only by Riverperson boat or the Temmie's secret tunnels and is home to all sorts of cool things like the Temmie 'Colleg' and 'DEEP HISTORY mUSEEum'~ XD

WebbInn 'the Spider district': Mostly a giant communal spider web hanging Hotland's ceiling but also connected to a tunnel that goes up near Mt Ebbot's peak (the spiders have been digging upwards in hopes of getting a 'sunspot' they can use to advertise their 'sweet little town' to tourists). Has a... Very distinctive culture compared to the rest of the Underground and the 'puzzles' there tend towards being 'social' in nature (aka fey logic games where how you speak and act gets you directed every which way).

Starlite Strip: A little connecting area right underneath the path/cliff Monster Kid and Frisk see the castle while travelling through Waterfall in Undertale Canon. Not a big settlement on its own but something of a trading hub for monsters from New Home and the surrounding areas in Waterfall to buy and sell goods (also has a LOT of Royal Guard presence which is why absolutely no one in Undertale recommends it to the very human Frisk). Very sparkly but in a gentle 'crystals, glowing water and fire flies' kinda way.

And... Yeah. Wanna post a full script of what I've got planned so far but this post is already massive so will do that in a bit.

Will say though that the general ending plan for this fic arguably goes full fix fic with:

12-14 year old Frisk comes out as human publicly and goes through the entire Underground arguing their case (something the Underground has been publicly debating for the last 10 years or so thanks to a very motivated Papyrus and a wanting more ratings + genuinely interested Mettaton).

Undyne attempts to kill them but well, she's only going all out because she and Paps had a deal about this (he vowed that he'd defend any innocent human from her killing them so she could still go all out at her job) and Frisk knows that.

Mettaton gets to do THE biggest and most historically important interview in the Underground's history.

Asgore declares that the Underground will try out this whole 'everyone in the kingdom votes' thing on both the upcoming war and how they will treat humans living here because he wants to make sure he's doing what his people want (Mettaton asks what Asgore will vote but Asgore, finally realizing his own influence, refuses to say).

Asgore and Frisk spend a nice, if slightly nervously time together drinking tea and talking about the future while the votes are being counted. (Toriel and others may join them but mostly this is Asgore getting to know... the last of Toriel's adopted children she told him about the others when she asked for a divorce).

Monsters choose wisely because for all this fic is 'Monsters are flawed too!' they are good people and I want to make that clear <3

Cue Frisk publically trying to help break the barrier while being very alive...

Flowey pulling a 'God of Hyper Death' except well, he, Frisk and Chara maaay have discussed a bit of this beforehand (Flowey did want the souls and this would get him them), so er, the fight might be a touch more mixed with genuine anger and playfulness. Note: Still working out the exacts.

The human SOULs get brought back to life as monsters while Flowey gets a SOUL of his own and Chara gets enough magical matter to be visible to people other than Frisk (it required less waste of the accumulated magic, the soul of an additional human another girl falling into the Ruins was what got Frisk deciding to come out actually, the kids using a bunch of Alphys' furthered research on the interplay between Determination, matter and Dust, and breaking down the dead humans' bodies for enough 'compatible matter' to work with, and the destruction and repurposing of the Barrier but hey! Back to life! Or arguably Chara's case an upgrade to proper ghost-hood). Oh and the Amalgamates that want it are safely separated but not sure if that's a 'before no' thing or a 'here in this big finale' thing~ XD

And yeah. That's all of my 'extra happy ending just because I can' stuff the entire fic eventually builds towards. Will post all my planned scenes/'domino effect planning' some other time but for now I'm done.

i'm! not much of a story teller and it's been fucking AGES since i've thought about it! but i'll give it a try! please keep in mind i was 15-17 when i first thought this up, i can show you some art when i get home! i also was using (with permission, at the time) a friends ocs/other characters

so it was about these three girls (the "leader of the group" (Antoinette/Toni (my one friends character), Melanie 'Mac' Anne Campbell (the SCOTTISH supernatural buff who was OBSESSED with aliens (my character)), and Beatrice/Bea (the 'vessel'/The Magician (like the card) also she basically has a spidey sense/prophetic visions/'gut feeling'/etc) whose souls are kind of cursed to forever return to Hell or a divine war would be wrought unto the world!!!!!!!! oh noooo!!!!!!

through a loophole (them playing with a ouija (they have died to go to hell in previous lives)) they end up in hell where they meet Lucifer, who they run away from at some point (how? idk....don't ask me........) (probably from the help of a demon (an old friends oc)) and end up in the arms of a rogue Grim Reaper (my oc Elliot, whom i have talked about once or twice) who is in love with Sekani (who was the egyptian god Anubis at the time when i first made this), the grim reaper he was training under (if that matters....these two are my babies, i have to mention the both of them together)

if i remember correctly, if the girls wanted to be free of the curse, they had to collect like. ancient artifacts, one of them was the ankh of Anubis and Bea was the vessel for Lucifer? so that he could leave hell i think there were like 4 to 6, but i only remember the one. one mightve been an angels horn too but idr

i know that i wanted it to end with Luci and God kind of sort of reconciling? that's about all i remember

i had 12 angels to stay around God (His name was Miguel?? also Jesus had a pet donkey named Maggy (like Mary Magdalene))

Gabriel/Gabrielle was a hijabi who was very grumpy and orderly, Soriel was a too cool for this shit guy, Raphael was a mix of both Aziraphale and Crowley, Dina/Jophiel was the angel of love (??) Uriel was my favorite and was mute? i think? or at least a very silent angel? there was one who was a stuck up bitch, started with a T.

the comic was inspired by Good Omens, what little i knew about the bible, The Kane Cronicles (Percy Jackson but egyptian), Supernatural, and "Death Rides a Pale Horse" by Piers Anthony

Remember when I told you soriel was my venture into alloheterosexuality? Yeah. I’m like a bad aspec for shipping them cause I really don’t have a good reason aside from like, I have a height fetish (f taller than m specific) and like some bug bit me during the restaurant scene. It also help that Toriel is canonically a very romantic person. Here is the first part of the Killer Soriel. There is indeed a second part to it. This is not a fic, just a mesh of thoughts and ideas. Just as a heads up, I see him doing best with a Fell Toriel. Someone who will put up with his sassy and give sassy back.

Killer is a romantic, but he figures love is over for him since, y'know… he's an outcast. But then, one day, he and the others find this lost Fell Toriel outcode who needs help. So they take her home so Boss can take her to the OmegaTimeline. But Killer opts to have some fun while she's around and teases and flirts with her, figuring he might as well since he'll never see her again. Besides, she has the best reaction. She's not initially aggressive to him until he bugs her enough to make threats. And such fun threats they are! She's not scared of him at all!

Well, he'll miss her, but at least she's got a new home, right?

The thing is… she finds she doesn't like it there…

Everyone is just so happy. Even the other FellToriels and she doesn't want to be happy. She wants to be angry. HER HOME WAS DESTROYED! So she goes to Core!Frisk and is like, "get that slimy Sans back here. I want to live there if he will allow it." 

They call Nightmare in, and he is intrigued by this and says, "Sure, but you have to earn your keep." They make a deal for her to be a housekeeper and cook when Horror visits his brother.

Killer is thrilled. He is in love with the fact that she knows he could quickly kill her, yet she doesn't shy away from him. She's not scared or even aggressive unless he provokes aggression. And that is just so amusing to him! And he purposefully makes messes just so she yells at him because, to him, that's fun! 

So, he goes back to teasing and flirting with her. Most days, he's just hanging around her when he has spare time. She finds she doesn't mind. Now and then, he throws out an excellent pun that has her laugh so hard tears form...... he reminds her of her Sans... He used to make her laugh like that. But this one is more energetic and annoying… but not in a way that makes his company unpleasant.

Anyway, she finds that living in a castle is just a bit much, so she asks Nightmare if she can build a cottage in the woods. She would still do her job but doesn't like living in the castle... too many memories of her old life as queen. A time she'd rather forget. Instead, she would like to spend her free time in her own home and walk to the castle daily to work. He's okay with that and assigns the boys to help. Once her house is built, Killer is there nightly, keeping her company bugging her. She enjoys this time together tolerates this since he is Nightmare's son right-hand, and she doesn't want to upset her employer.

Then one day, Killer pesters her about sparring with him in the outdoor arena. He LOVES fighting and wants to see how good she is. Felli (her nickname for now) glares at him and says, "you are far stronger than me; we both know it." But he whines, saying he will let her have a chance, and promises it will be fun. She sighs, puts down her dust rag, and joins him. And with that, they fight. 

Killer loves every second of this, even if he's going easy on her, but he sees she's learning how to counter him quickly. He might be wrong, but she seems to be enjoying this too. 

He's not wrong; she is. She won't admit it, but this is so much fun, and then it dawns on her why. It is like they are dancing, and she loves to dance. So she waits for the right moment before just using her paws, grabbing his left hand and slipping her left behind his back, twirling him around, then dipping him.

Both are blushing at this... from exhaustion from the fight and this pose they are in. They remain in the dipped pose long enough to be awkward, but neither dares to move. Killer is speechless, too, a rare thing for him, but he honestly doesn't know what to think, let alone say. His soul is doing something it hasn't done before. It's not twitching... but pulsing like a heartbeat, and he can feel something that he hadn't felt in ages... what is that feeling?!

Love? Is that love?

As he's figuring this feeling out, Felli notices she is feeling tempted to kiss him. Not wanting to give in to that temptation, she drops him and walks away. Killer just lays there looking up at the sky until the others find him later since he didn't come for dinner. They are worried since he's just out of it and not being the pest he typically is. Nightmare knows, though... The training arena is visible from his library window... he saw the whole thing and calmed their worries while smiling a bit smugly.

This fic does a great job of characterizing them both and it’s always great to see Alphys working in her element.

So i think i might leave the Undertale/Deltarune fandom with stop shipping Frans if Soriel shipping gonna be canon. I'm sorry if you are following me for Undertale or Frans contents but this my life, my choice, i'm so sorry. Don't worry, i won't delete my contents of Undertale or Frans, i'll keep them as keepsake.

I just don't feel so good right now, this game/fandom supposed to be my comfort stuff but now i'm starting feeling uncomfy everytime i see Undertale/Detarune contents for no reason, what an odd feeling. I just don't get why, it is giving me anxiety with depression, sorry Undertale/Frans fans that are following me for this fandom's contents.

And i don't mean to be rude at Soriel shippers, yeah i know that it's my discomfort ship but i do respect the shippers, some of them are nice so i don't want to hurt them tho. I don't want to be selfish.

Hey lemme say that again, i don't mean to leave the fandom right now, i mean in the future where Soriel might be a canon ship, i'm just afraid that i might not stay in this fandom any longer. Therefore, i'll take the last time which i could stay in this fandom to enjoy everything i love in it with my best.

However, thanks to Undertale a lot, thanks for changing my life with the happiness, thanks for the great memories i had, thanks for the cool friends it gave, etc...About the Undertale and Frans merch that i bought, i might hide them somewhere else, whenever i miss this fandom, i'll look at them again and i think i would cry in nostalgia.

Moreover, thank you so much for the support if you are my Undertale and Frans followers/friends, have a great day, i don't mind if you still love this fandom because it's up to you, i'm just saying that i may stop making contents of it. The day was finally here!

Toriel packed the basket with care while simultaneously calming her own nerves. Why was she even nervous? It wasn't like this was the first time she had been on a date with anyone since the divorce.

Her face took a rather hard expression as she thought about that. Thinking about Asgore just made her so irritated sometimes. Oh, the divorce had been an easy and amicable one, but...old irritations seemed to be working their way out the longer they were out of a relationship. She never wanted to get back together with him. That chapter in her life was over.

"...18 years, though."

The voice made her jump as she looked over at Kris who was slinking their way around the doorway.

"What was that, sweety?"

"You and...Dad were married for 18 years, almost exactly." There was no real feeling in their words, but their red eyes betrayed a kind of deep emotion. Sadness? Bitterness? Hopelessness? It was almost unreadable.

"That's right." Toriel said as she closed the picnic basket.

"And now you're on a date?"

"Just a picnic with Sans."

"...he gives me the creeps."

"He says much the same about you."

Kris blinked and opened the fridge taking some leftover chocolate pie out. They said nothing, but just fixed themselves a slice and went to the table and sat down with it.

"... Any plans today?"

"...hanging out with Susie."

"Oh? I'm so glad that you have a friend, Kris." Toriel said as she gently ruffled their hair and kissed the top of their head. "Be good today, alright."

Kris nodded, a mouthful of pie keeping them from answering. They swallowed the first bite quickly and said, "...you, too."

Toriel smiled, picked up the basket, "I will." She said as she went out the door to the minivan, placing the basket on the passenger seat and starting it up. She made a y-turn and pulled out of the driveway heading south towards the town proper.

"it'll be fine, Paps. I'm just going on a picnic."

"WITH TORIEL."

"yes."

"ISN'T SHE FROM THE SCHOOL?"

"yes again. if you need anything, just call my cell."

"...OK"

Sans stepped out of the house and locked the door. His brother had been so skittish about this. It wasn't like this was serious or anything. It was JUST lunch.

He took in a deep breath. The flowers were blooming, the birds were singing, on days like today... He shook his head, his left eye going blue for a second before he calmed down. "wrong place...wrong place." He whispered to himself as he rubbed the back of his skull.

Thankfully before he had too much time to contemplate anything, Toriel arrived in her minivan. She moved the basket and rolled down the window.

"hey, can i come in? feeling a little exhausted here."

Toriel chuckled. "Of course. Wouldn't want to leave you parked too long."

Sans' grin got bigger as he slid into the passenger seat. He set a plastic shopping bag on his lap. "yeah, I was afraid you would...drive away before i could see yah today."

"Ah, you seem to have already bested me during our time together today. You might have to be pulled over for speeding."

Sans chuckled at that. "You may be right. I might have just ran a red light already."

Toriel parked at the park and got out, going around and opening the door for Sans and then getting the basket out of the back. Sans followed her to the picnic table. "this was the perfect day for this, Toriel." he said as he helped set everything up.

"Indeed it is."

They settled down and sat at the table that was spread with sandwiches, chips, soda, and pie. There were also napkins and hotdogs, ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, and chili.

They both fixed their plates and began eating. Toriel was quiet for a moment and then began with, "you know...Kris wasn't too happy about this."

Sans looked at the sandwich she had, "oh? they don't like sandwiches?" He joked, though he knew where she was leading with this. He sighed. "yeah, pa-my brother wasn't too keen on it either."

Toriel frowned, chewing and swallowing. "I suppose this makes it awkward then for us to continue with...wherever this is going."

"i dunno." He said, taking a bite of some chips. "do you want to stop right now?"

She smiled and shook her head. "Not really, but I have to take Kris's feelings into account."

"and I have to think about my brother."

They both took a drink of soda at the same time, when a small acorn landed right into the pie with a splat.

"well, that is absolutely nuts." the skeleton said in almost too much of a relieved way.

Toriel laughed, also pleased. "Looks like it may have cracked the tension."

Sans grinned wider and came back with another pun while making a hot dog for himself and her.

She laughed and responded.

In the thick trees across the way, a red eye gleamed and a slingshot was put away before the owner of them slinked away quietly to go join up with a large purple monster.

"Mission Accomplished." They said mysteriously once they encountered her.

"Mission...what? Sometimes you're so weird, Kris."

They said nothing, but hid a small smile as they followed Susie, putting the slingshot in their pocket.

- Elodie, what are you doing?, - Her fingers grip the small bottle, the view in front of her is getting blurrier and blurrier, - Are you alright? You seem off. Is there anything I can do to help?, - Chris follows his question up with a screech, as the water burns his face. Holy water. He joked about accidentally drinking it a lot, but... This was sudden.

Stepping back from the young woman, and leaning on the kitchen counter, the demon tried wiping some of the water away with his sleeves, trying to avoid any more contact with skin. This will take a while to heal. Ripping off the blindfold that covered up his eyes, Chris tosses them to the ground, immediately wiping his hand on his pants, the bandages were soaked, and it hurt so badly a part of him felt a bit upset at Elodie-

The second he looked up, the specter jumped back, narrowly avoiding a slice of an iron blade. Just a dagger, but, too close to his stomach. Whatever went over Elodie was prepared. Her eyes seemed hollow, glassy, he wouldn't need to find a specific angle, or be too close to see his reflection. Meanwhile, she was already preparing for another blow. Chris scanned his surroundings, and stepped quickly to the side, reaching into the sink, cupping some normal water into his palm, and splashed it into the young woman's wide open eyes.

Immediately after that, she slices his shoulder, not phased, not even giving him an opening to go past her. The droplets roll over her eyeballs, as the specter hisses, gripping the part of his arm where the wound fell. Make it to the window. Immediately running in the desired direction, he slammed his elbow the glass, and jumped out, a pair of wings already tearing through his hoodie.

Then a heavy weight was felt on his back. Not too heavy, of course, he picked Elodie up many times, always surprising her, always getting her to chuckle. Every noise she made always came a bit louder to him, the sighs, the held back laughter, the finger tapping a surface, the yawns... She was dead silent now wrapping an arm around his neck, and placing her foot on his back.

Chris flailed his arms, now overcome with a panic, he barely had time to process what was going on, he didn't even know which way he was falling, all he heard was some people gasping, some yelling, and not a single breath in his ear. Something shot through his shoulder, a large rough surface met his left side, scraping some skin off his face, something boiling hot, definitely not just tea from a kettle, was pouring down his neck, he couldn't see what was ahead, loud and low roaring filled his ears.

The man was thrashing around under Elodie, in any other scenario both would have looked to the side due to the rather suggestive position, but now, instead, while the demon was trying to save his dear life, that he didn't even know could be shortening so rapidly, his human partner raised the dagger one more time. She didn't really see what she was doing. Or hear. But she did feel legs kicking behind her, she did feel some clawed hand scratch her arm, she did hear a muffled cry.

Then it fell still. Elodie came back to her senses, only once she stood up. There were... People. Horrified people, looking at her. There was something wet and kind of sticky on her hands, and splatters of it on her face. There was a dagger in her hand, and glass shards with some crystal clear liquid on the ground. And there was Chris' body.
