here is myyyyy jenny and jelly, ive always assumed they were like two middle aged ladies who hung out and gossiped together to me but i never thought abt the friends w benefits thing tbh, its totally possible though these kitty cats r FREAKY!!!

one big headcanon ive always had specifically for jenny was like, before moving on to training mice and roaches she was a previous jellicle protector/fighter type and probably taught munkustrap what he knows, i think it adds to the old gumbie cat as well bcuz hes singing abt his mentor!! the lady who taught him all he knows!!

i definitely think jelly and jenny have had a looooong friendship and frequently look back on their youth, probably telling stories to younger cats and kittens and a lot of them are crazy like “oh jenny my dear remember those days youd beat every tom in the scrapyard in an arm wrestle?” and jenny just giggles and is like “my…. that was so long ago ^^;”

i think personally if jenny is physical damage, jellylorum is psychological damage bcuz she’d be one of those aunties that r good at finding the best words to make you feel the worst sometimes but she has good intentions and tends to use it for good esp w jenny keeping her in check so like,,, power duo!!

i won't say it's explicitly misogynistic but it's probablyyyy worth examining why you saw shinei's abusive behaviors and started automatically attributing them to shinomama by virtue of her being married to him

“Running from some humans who wanted to stick me in a tank,” Nathaniel answers honestly. Some sort of emotion flashes across his new acquaintance’s face. “What about you?”

“I…” The mer swallows and stares at the sand for a moment. “It doesn’t matter. Get out of here.”

“I can’t yet. They might still be out there,” Nathaniel says, tilting his head towards the entrance to the cave. But he pulls himself out of the water and changes back. Once again sopping wet, he sits down with his legs crossed. “What’s your name?”

The mer looks him up and down with a furrowed brow, then finally answers. “Andrew. Yours?”

“Don’t have one at the moment.” Nathaniel tells him.

“Bullshit. Everyone has a name.”

Nathaniel shrugs. “Not me.” 

“What happened? Your mother die before she could give you one?”

Please talk about Sansa and her Warden of the North duties?!

OH MAN, so I think Sansa is a lot like Tyrion in some ways, namely in the sense of "war and politics and the game of thrones are all fun but you also have to make sure someone's dealing with the sewers and the pox outbreaks and the supply lines." The North is a hugely different place than King's Landing, but that's very much Sansa's ethos (in the show too she's seen as someone always thinking about the details as well as the big picture).

I think she's taking on a lot of both the Warden's duties and the Lady of Winterfell's duties at present, since of course she'd be very familiar with Catelyn's jobs as well. So there's a certain amount of tending to wounded as well as judging criminals (or, in the case of the fic I'm writing, deciding the fates of all the people who fought on the side of the Boltons). It's a LOT.

Which makes me think that Sansa's probably thinking about marriage as well, since (again, in this fic) she was never forced to marry Ramsay and so her view of a pragmatic partnership is shaped far more by her experience with Tyrion. She's not ready by any means to have a husband -- not least because she needs to make sure the North is securely hers and she won't be pushed to the side if a man comes along -- but it's definitely in the back of her mind.
