the people calling Arin selfish for leaving the ninja and "turning evil" and whatever seems to forget that Arin is a little 14 year old boy who just wants to find his parents.

I'm an adult and the thought of being separated from my family destroys me mentally , so imagine a kid who had two loving amazing parents being separated from them by a cosmic event , that it is hinted that it probably killed some people in it . Yes It will drive anyone to do anything to find them.

Yes Arin wants to be a ninja and save the world BUT he wants to find his family too.

I understand the ninja being more distracted trying to save the world, trust I'm not blaming them and I completely understand. But what I don't understand is people calling Arin a selfish brat for "betraying" them like people think he is now going to be in evil, when all he wants is some information from ras that I bet ras will keep delaying giving it to him to use Arin as a weapon or a weakness to fight Lloyd and the others.

He is not evil , he is lost and frustrated and feels like he got let down by his own heroes and lied to by his own best friend.

Still however, he is definitely going down a bad route and I'm scared for him , and I don't trust ras at all and I hope Lloyd or Sora finds him before he ends up getting dragged into some mess by ras.

In the end he is just a kid who helped save the world and helped so many people, don't call him selfish, he already sacrificed trying to find his parents to save the world.

Please protect this boy , rewatching season 1 of dragon rising is a pain now.

this is inarguably one of the most self-indulgent things i’ve ever designed (bonus color way and more detailed descriptions under cut.)

God we talk about Riku going Feral™️ to protect Sora but don’t forget we see Sora go off on people for Riku’s sake. I can’t think of many rn but I have ONE

I don’t have the screenshot of when it exactly happened, but I BELIEVE this is the scene where Sora like shakes his hands out of rage before he speaks bc Vexan (I cannot remember this man’s name for the life of me😭) is calling the Repliku a subject and it pisses Sora off and he’s just like “DONT YOU DARE CALL HIM THAT YOU BITCH.”

I love him sm. And funnily enough I got this from a video called “sora being gay”

Anyways my point is Sora is just as feral for Riku though we don’t see it as much bc we haven’t gotten many chances to (I think) like we have with Riku. But I hope we do see some feralness at some point bc I NEED it, okay?? To keep me sane bc I’m already insane for these two.
