#my art #Yes this is meant to parallel the Reiju piece and I will be drawing Yonji and Niji next.#those are judge's hands in case it wasn't clear but hopefully the hair does that?#Anyways to chatter about this a little #I just like that the trio are trapped within bodies that are forced to comply to Judge and have no desire to do otherwise #No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.#but it also raises the question what will happen to them when he dies and Ichiji becomes King (presumably)#they've been so sculpted to follow his every word how far can they make it without an outside force commanding them.#could they have been “saved” if they had Sora's exterior voice commanding them to do good? But to what extent does that qualify as good #since it's arguable if they would ever be truly choosing it for themselves #Anyways the Vinsmokes are NOT okay and I hope that gets explored more #I love characters whose moral code begins and ends with “It is my purpose” so I don't like to think they're inherently bad entities #I like to think they're inherently hollow vessels filled with intentions of another person #because that opens a far more interesting conversation about selfhood and accountability.#Very fond of fanfictions where they don't need to gain emotions to learn error #Also fond of fanfictions where Ichiji kisses men. #kingdom hearts dream drop distance #khddd #sora #riku #nightmare's end #mirage split #my gif #i was going to write up a whole thing in the tags about my thoughts on this keyblade #but i just know it'll be an incoherent essay because i can't properly articulate my thoughts #the x-blade must be forged through a clash of light and darkness #but i find it so highly significant that sora and riku can create their own keyblade which is so unheard of #this keyblade isn't created with a clash but rather through harmony and balance #not with conflict but with understanding and connection and love #and i always felt as though that's how the x-blade SHOULD be forged. that master xehanort went about it all wrong #because balance and connections are such important themes in these games #it has two handles and looks so regal when combined. all of the shapes feel reminiscent of the x-blade too #it shines so brilliantly with both sora and riku's symbols. the heart and crown which is the iconic logo for the entire series #also the way stained glass is always used to represent hearts. it's so significant!#and yeah the paupu fruit keychain is its own thing to unpack #okay so i ended up writing something anyway but there's still so much more #i just really hope we get to see more of this in future games because it would be shocking if it was nothing more than a cool combo attack

God we talk about Riku going Feral™️ to protect Sora but don’t forget we see Sora go off on people for Riku’s sake. I can’t think of many rn but I have ONE

I don’t have the screenshot of when it exactly happened, but I BELIEVE this is the scene where Sora like shakes his hands out of rage before he speaks bc Vexan (I cannot remember this man’s name for the life of me😭) is calling the Repliku a subject and it pisses Sora off and he’s just like “DONT YOU DARE CALL HIM THAT YOU BITCH.”

I love him sm. And funnily enough I got this from a video called “sora being gay”

Anyways my point is Sora is just as feral for Riku though we don’t see it as much bc we haven’t gotten many chances to (I think) like we have with Riku. But I hope we do see some feralness at some point bc I NEED it, okay?? To keep me sane bc I’m already insane for these two.
