I'm kidding, I'm kidding, but seriously, my mom's side of the family lives several states away, and quite a few of them... dont get along with each other as far as I'm aware, so I don't really know most of them. My mom does, cause, well, she grew up with them. Well, today, I had a convo with my mom about stuff that's happening on her side of family, and you'll never guess what she mentioned!! Turns out, her whole family has ADHD and is on the spectrum. The more she learns about how her ADHD and autism affect her, the more she realizes that the reason she thought all this was completely normal is because it is COMPLETELY NORMAL for her family. We're talking 40+ people all directly related that all had the same experiences.

Now, we've already had a realization like this when we figured out that literally every woman on this same side of this family has EDS, but I can't stop laughing at this. It makes SOOO much more sense why it took so long for anyone to look into a diagnosis for anything, cause everytime anyone started poking around at the possibility that we weren't "normal" by society standards, they just point out how there can't be anything "weird" with us since everyone else in the family is like that.

The sound of the doorbell rang through the living room, reverberating into the kitchen catching not only your attention but also Yoon’s. The kitty was sleeping next to his bowl, all curled up in a cute ball of fur.

Deciding to put aside your sandwich, leaving it on the counter unsupervised, you walked to the door not wanting to keep your guest waiting.

Once it opened you were met with the sight of your girlfriend, Haerin.

She didn’t give you the time to greet her that her arms were around you - now, she wasn’t the type to show you love through physical contact, but sometimes you’d get “hug-attacked”. 

Naturally, almost like they had a will of their own, your arms wrapped around Haerin giving her body a little squeeze.

“Hi to you too, baby.” You said after a moment of silence.

“Hm, hi.” She hummed, finally looking up to face you.

“How was the photoshoot?” While asking the question you moved your foot enough to push the front door forward, successfully closing it.

You two didn’t pull away from each other, the familiar warmth of the embrace, Haerin’s soft but intense perfume filling your nostrils and the sunlight making her irises look like honey. If you could have framed the moment, you would've done it in a heartbeat.

“Good, but I saw a cat on my way home and decided to come here.” She spoke in a low tone “I missed Yoon.”

A dramatic gasp left your lips, how could your girlfriend come over only to see your cat?!

“Yoon? Not me, your girlfriend of 2 years??” 

The exaggerated, betrayed tone made her let out a giggle and you swore you wanted to drop your act: it didn’t matter how many times you heard the sound, it had a massive choke hold on you – like one of those songs’ intro you hear once and think 'What was I even listening before this?'.

Haerin’s laugh was the intro to your favorite song, her words.

“I come over to see you everyday, don’t you think Yoon is a bit jealous?” She teased, now pulling away to hang her coat on the hanger next to the door.

That sentence made you pout and cross your arms

“Maybe he needs to find a girlfriend and learn to not steal mine.”

“You’re kind enough to share.” She teased again, now making her way to the kitchen. You followed suit, just like a puppy.

“I can share everything but y–” The words stopped in your throat once you reached the room, almost bumping into Haerin as you stopped walking.

“MY SANDWICH!”

The yell made not only your girlfriend, but also your kitty jump. He quickly sprinted away from the crime scene with a slice of ham in his mouth.

“You startled him…And me.” Haerin mumbled but followed you to the counter, a hand on your shoulder.

“Not only did he steal my girlfriend, he even stole my precious sandwich!” Your tone was dramatic but there was really no bite to it. After all, Yoon was your love just as much as Haerin.

“It was a slice of ham, love, I’m sure you can get another.” 

‘Love’. This girl was making you melt with every word spoken, and how her hand was now on your back, caressing it in a reassuring way.

“Goddammit you’re so adorable” You grabbed her cheeks, squishing them. In return the latter grinned, her eyes closing while her cheeks slowly became rosy.

“Yah– Y/n!” She tried to wiggle away but eventually stopped struggling when your lips touched her cheek, the loud ‘mwah’ sound making her smile even more. “Come onnnn, I want a kiss.” You whined, not liking how she presented her cheek when you were about to kiss her.

“You scared Yoon, I can’t forgive you like that.” Haerin said while leaning down to pick up the feline in her arms. “But he ruined my sandwich.” Words that fell to deaf ears because your girlfriend had no intention of letting the mischievous – but absolutely adorable – cat go. She started kissing his head and in that moment you wished of being born a cat, specifically Yoon.

Things got worse when he started purring, capturing Haerin’s heart even more and making you let out a huff of frustration: that little punk was doing it on purpose.

Staring at the pair became boring soon so you just gave up dropping your annoyed attitude. Haerin held Yoon closer to her, sniffing him. 

“He smells good.” She whispered, and thank God you were used to her low tone of voice or else you wouldn’t have been able to hear her. 

“I recently bathed him, not the best day of his life.”

“He smells like you.”

“Huh? Thanks, i guess–”

Her little weird comments never failed to leave you confused and speechless, in a good way.

“That’s me saying you smell good.”

Idiot, how could you not understand?

“Aww, thank you baby. Does that mean I get a kiss?”

“No.” She responded, her eyes now visible behind Yoon’s huge, fluffy face. You noticed how the shape resembled one of a cat’s, actually, her whole behaviour was really feline-like.

The realization that you might have accidentally adopted another cat struck you, making you laugh louder than intended.

“What’s so funny?” Haerin asked with a confused expression, her head tilting ever so slightly. Her inquisitive and intense gaze on your grinning face.

“Sorry, you two looked so alike.” 

“Me and…Yoon?” She looked down at the cat, even more confused at first then she smiled – that pretty, amazing, beautiful, breathtaking, adorable smile.

Nodding, you got closer to the two and gently caressed his fur, the kitty nuzzling your hand purring again. “You stained him with lipstick, Hae.” You scoffed, slightly annoyed since Yoon and water had a bad relationship, you could only imagine the difficulty of cleaning those stains.

“Oh? Sorry.” She apologized, but the mischievous smirk on her lips already told you that she wasn’t sorry at all. Instead of trying to clean the poor cat, she got on her tippy toes and gave your cheek a stolen kiss.

You gasped “Hey!” rubbing the point she kissed while trying to get away from her, your cheek was now red from Haerin’s smeared lipstick. You backed up knowing what awaited you.

“I’m giving you the kiss you wanted.” Your girlfriend laughed, leaving Yoon on the ground. “Now come here.” 

“NO! Leave me alone!” 

You ran away, heavy steps thudding on the tiles of the kitchen, to the wood floor of the living room. Your arms reached for a pillow on the couch to try and protect yourself from your evil girlfriend.

However, it was too late, she wrapped her arms around your hips as she crushed her lips against your face; other than leaving a visible mark, she made you lose your balance and you both fell on the couch which creaked.

You let out a groan, the pillow now abandoned on the floor and used by Yoon as a bed, the little guy was very tiny and very interested into watching your downfall.

Haerin took advantage of your distraction to finally kiss you, first on your lips, then on your nose, forehead, temples – There wasn’t a single inch of your face that wasn’t marked by Haerin’s lipstick.

After what felt like an eternity she pulled back, straddling your lap to admire her handiwork. A hand snaked up to brush away some of your messy hair and you could only look up at her stupidly adorable grinning face.

“Happy now?” You asked, earning a chuckle from the other girl.

“I should be the one asking that, you got all the affection you wanted.”

That was true, even though your face was stained, it felt good to have her kiss you so much and now that it was over you were already yearning for more.

“Hmmmm...” You thought “I think it’s not enough.”

But despite the constant headaches you give Joker, he can’t seem to stay away. He’s addicted.

Frost and the boys stare at Joker in horror when you visit the hideout (unannounced) with a basket full of baked goods; blissfully unaware that a goon almost shot you for trespassing.

This is the girl their boss is dating?!!?!? HOW? It’s giving peak grumpy x sunshine energy because you and Joker do not compute.

BUT. IT WORKS. The laws of the universe bend to make it happen and Joker cannot thank them enough for placing you in his life. He wouldn’t be the same without you.

You know you can be an airhead at times but Joker reins in your overly bubbly persona. He's always looking out for you and not allowing anyone to make you into a pushover.

In return, you encourage and offer Joker the love and support he secretly needs while quelling his more violent tendencies.

You calm his anger. He keeps you focused. 🔥✨

You're still his Light although it stands for Sunlight in this scenario and you get a sun tattoo behind your ear in honor of it.

Joker is grateful that you are nothing like Harley. Yes you can be annoying at times but you mean well in the long run.

Its not just obsessive loyalty and toxic love; you genuinely care about Joker and you push him to become a better man every day.

And the feeling is mutual. Joker does not tolerate anyone making fun of his sunlight. He kills anyone who insults your intelligence and anyone that makes you cry, mysteriously disappears.

You just waltz in like you own the place, bringing an aura of joy and happiness in your wake.

Joker was in an important meeting, discussing how to eliminate a rival popup gang when he heard your heels clicking down the hall. He knows that sound from anywhere and his face turns white.

A goon is right behind you threatening you to leave or else, when you just causally walk into the meeting room, blissfully unaware of the danger you are now in.

Do you even notice all the guns trained on you? Nope, you only have eyes for Joker. You stop yourself from tackling him with a hug.

"There you are J! Oh. Are you busy? Well not anymore!! I baked muffins, and cookies, and oh!” You finally acknowledge the room full of men.

You blink twice before smiling wide. “Hi everyone!! Does anyone have a peanut allergy? I made treats with and without nuts just in case!”

An entire room full of dangerous criminals stare in disbelief as you unload your wicker basket right onto the table, all while humming a song.

They all turn to stare at Joker who is ready to crawl into a hole from embarrassment. He doesn't even know where to begin there's so much to unpack here.

How did you get here all by yourself? Who let you in?! Why did you bake so much?! Is that a pain au chocolat?

Surely you sense the threat around you but no. You are so oblivious, it’s almost sad to watch.

Some brave soul does announce their allergy and you quickly deliver them a nut free brownie on a pink napkin.

Your naïve personality triggers an understanding in the room and people start to lower their weapons in exchange for treats.

By the end of your impromtu visit, Joker's gang is obsessed with you and your baking. And so the questions start pouring in.

"Y/n you’re so nice! How is someone like you with the boss?"

You look up from handing a goon a cookie, "You mean J? Oh!" You look away bashful as they all wait for a response. Even Joker is intrigued with what you’ll say.

“I’m not the smartest girl in Gotham but Joker doesn’t care! He’s the most patient person I’ve ever met and he never belittles me! How could I not love him? He’s so protective too! He always murders the mean people who make fun of me. Isn’t he so romantic?”

The room goes silent after that last bit. And so it all starts to make sense.

“Great. She’s crazy too." One guy whispers.

minho keeps it pretty standard, calling her baby or by her name sometimes when he's teasing or mad. sometimes he will switch it up and call her his little brat. baby calls him min, grumpykins (when hes being a dick), and sometimes to make him flustered she calls him kitty boy. lets not forget he likes to be called sir.. 👀

binnie is partial to the nickname sweetcheeks, he loves to pinch omegas chunky cheeks as he says it, eventually it evolves to different names that have the word sweet- sweetbuns, sweetiepie ect. omega would begin to call him sweetbin in return and it would eventfully evolve to sweet bean then just beanie lol

i think hyunjin would call her lover girl and he would call himself her lover boy and would get them matching shirts that says it because he is extra like that and omega just loves it

we all know seungmin loves to call baby puppy and pup, he just thinks it fits her so well- his obedient little puppy 🐶 he pretends not to be flustered when she calls him bubs or bubo or her personal favorite mongie. he has to hide his blush every time

last but not least innie calls her stinky. in an affectionate way ofc! his little stinky. not because she smells bad but because when shes around the only thing he can smell is her and her delicious scent. if hes extra playful he calls her stink monster. baby in retaliation calls him mcmeany, she did call him mcdreamy due to his sexy cheekbones but after being called stink so many times she changed it to mcmeany. its playful for both of them tho and neither mind it

1- general outfits and stuff. siffrins i wanted to keep mostly similar to how i usually draw them. sleeveless top, horrible and unnecessary amount of belts,, knowing that hes maybe not as eager to change as some others might be. they are comfortable in their style and thats what matters. for isabeau i wanted to keep a familiar vibe, but still change it up. i think he would still wear clothes that are flowy-er etc etc, buuut yeayeayea. not an outfits guy really so jfkf theyre pretty simple.

2- themb!! they look different! siffrins hair is longer obv obv, and no lightless dye anymore. they tie it back usually, but he still likes it long. also some facial hair. important to me. (you may also notice lack of eyepatch,, personal hc that siffrin gets more comfortable without it after making up with bonnie some more. that he maybe depending on it a lot because he thought it would make them uncomfortable, which theyyy dont have to worry about. anymore! so less eyepatch. sometimes still though). isa on the other hand looks mooostly the same! except. ofc. bigger beard. you guys should know i love my beards by now. lawl. other than that mostly the same,, physical pain in me trying to think of a different hairstyle for him… maybe in the future but for now he gets This.

3- new cloak-thing for sif! his regular cloak is probably much more well suited for the travelling lifestyle, much less the domestic stay-at-home lifestyle, soo they changed it up! (and totally not an excuse for isabeau to try out craft stitching nooo definitely not as practice for the future whaat who said that.) they will still wear the old cloak occasionally, buuut not as often as they used to.

4- finally! bonding earrings!!! yes! the designs themselves are pretty simple. squares and change symbols for the design sif made for isa, and a star with bits that go ding-ding that isa made for sif. more importantly, siffrin carved the earrings himself! it is. hard. to do that. a design that is so small. there were many failed attempts and scraped ideas but they got it done! and isa loves them very much. for isas design, the main star part is glass, and the dangling bits are carved gems (picture isabeau, panicking because this is siffrin hes making these for so it needs to be perfect. and he gets odile to help him, because despite all the teasing she is ofc very fond, and helps him out with that aspect of the design.)
