I'm kidding, I'm kidding, but seriously, my mom's side of the family lives several states away, and quite a few of them... dont get along with each other as far as I'm aware, so I don't really know most of them. My mom does, cause, well, she grew up with them. Well, today, I had a convo with my mom about stuff that's happening on her side of family, and you'll never guess what she mentioned!! Turns out, her whole family has ADHD and is on the spectrum. The more she learns about how her ADHD and autism affect her, the more she realizes that the reason she thought all this was completely normal is because it is COMPLETELY NORMAL for her family. We're talking 40+ people all directly related that all had the same experiences.

Now, we've already had a realization like this when we figured out that literally every woman on this same side of this family has EDS, but I can't stop laughing at this. It makes SOOO much more sense why it took so long for anyone to look into a diagnosis for anything, cause everytime anyone started poking around at the possibility that we weren't "normal" by society standards, they just point out how there can't be anything "weird" with us since everyone else in the family is like that.

You just waltz in like you own the place, bringing an aura of joy and happiness in your wake.

Joker was in an important meeting, discussing how to eliminate a rival popup gang when he heard your heels clicking down the hall. He knows that sound from anywhere and his face turns white.

A goon is right behind you threatening you to leave or else, when you just causally walk into the meeting room, blissfully unaware of the danger you are now in.

Do you even notice all the guns trained on you? Nope, you only have eyes for Joker. You stop yourself from tackling him with a hug.

An entire room full of dangerous criminals stare in disbelief as you unload your wicker basket right onto the table, all while humming a song.

They all turn to stare at Joker who is ready to crawl into a hole from embarrassment. He doesn't even know where to begin there's so much to unpack here.

How did you get here all by yourself? Who let you in?! Why did you bake so much?! Is that a pain au chocolat?

Surely you sense the threat around you but no. You are so oblivious, it’s almost sad to watch.

Some brave soul does announce their allergy and you quickly deliver them a nut free brownie on a pink napkin.

Your naïve personality triggers an understanding in the room and people start to lower their weapons in exchange for treats.

By the end of your impromtu visit, Joker's gang is obsessed with you and your baking. And so the questions start pouring in.

"Y/n you’re so nice! How is someone like you with the boss?"

You look up from handing a goon a cookie, "You mean J? Oh!" You look away bashful as they all wait for a response. Even Joker is intrigued with what you’ll say.

The room goes silent after that last bit. And so it all starts to make sense.

I feel like Namjoon and Taehyung specifically feel so much love for the world and all aspects of it that they would feel that the sacrifice of one would not outweigh the sacrifice of the many. Namjoon especially because of his love of all the little things and the earth itself. Jin and Hobi would be the ones to think about it, because of their love for you, but then would also see that the world is more important than their love for one person.

You dropped your head back with closed eyes and sighed heavily. You wonder why the Ive leader hasn’t given up yet. Actually the better question is:

“How and why are you here? This is a Le Sserafim private practice!” You snapped but Yujin could only fall in love more with your angry face.

She found it more cute than scary.

“Actually this is a private Le Sserafim AND Ive dance practice. We’re performing at the showcase too babe” She smiled with her dimple showing.

You tried your best to not fall for her charming face by sighing again before turning to your leader. “Chaewon Unnie you never told me Ive was practicing with us!”

You felt your cheeks heat up at the memory. Yunjin and Kazuha came into your room one morning to wake you up only to find you saying Yujin’s name in your sleep before kissing your pillow.

You gave Shinez a busted lip that day.

“Don’t listen to them they’re liars!” You stammered and threw a middle finger at the two who were still pretending to make out.

“Kkura Unnie stop them please!” You whined.

Your eldest member rolled her eyes and pulled Zuha away from the other, scolding her in Japanese.

“You dream of kissing me?” Yujin asked with a smug look.

You forgot she was there. “Fuck. Off. Now.”

Here we go with the pet names again. Your eyes widened as Yujin backed you into the wall behind you, her left hand leaning against the wall while the other caressed your face.

“There’s something on your face” Yujin said softly, her thumb running across your cheek. “Oh wait it’s just beauty” She winked.

And that pushed your limits. With a clenched fist, you grimaced from the cringey line and threw your fist into the taller’s cheek, causing her to fall onto her back.

“Ow!”

You froze in place, realising what you had done.

Your members turned around and gasped. Chaewon was about to run up and help Yujin but Sakura pulled her leader’s arm back. “No no. Just watch” Sakura whispered while wiggling her eyebrows.

In panic, you immediately kneeled next to the fallen girl, helping her sit up. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to do that at all. I had it in my mind but my body just automatically reacted and-“

“It’s okay, Princess, really” Yujin chuckled with a bleeding lip.

“No it’s not. God, you’re bleeding, please don’t let Gaeul see this, she’ll rip me to shreds” You rambled, brushing your thumb gently over the wound but all Yujin could do was stare at your eyes then your lips.

“Gaeul isn’t like that don’t worry”

You froze noticing where Yujin’s focus was and you couldn’t help but stare at her lips too. “Yujin…”

“I think a kiss will make it all better” She whispered.

“Yujin…” You repeated breathlessly and the taller seemed to be entranced by the way you say her name.

“Yeah?”

“IF YOU DONT WANT ANOTHER PUNCH TO THE FACE, I SUGGEST YOU PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR HANDSOME ASS AND CUT THE GODDAMN FLIRTING!” You screamed, grabbing her by the collar.

“This was less romantic than I pictured” Chaewon mumbled to Sakura who could only giggle.

“Sorry sorry! I just like getting a reaction out of you. It doesn’t make it better since you’re like super duper pretty aswell” Yujin pouted and looked away.

You tried so hard to stay mad but the way she looked so puppy right now had got your heart melting. You sighed heavily and cupped her cheeks, making her look at you again. “If…If I let you take me out on a date, will you stop being annoying?”

Yujin’s eyes sparkled as she nodded but she blinked it away. “Wait I responded too fast to that. I do wanna take you out on a date and possibly make you my girlfriend hehe but that’s not gonna stop me and my cool pick up lines” She smirked.

“Ok fine. If we go on this stupid date will you at least act professional for the rest of this practice?”

“I’ll try my best” She smiled widely.

“Good. It’s settled then” You said while helping her stand up. “Your lip looks pretty bad”

“Then kiss it better” Yujin leaned her now bruised lip to you with her eyes closed.

1- general outfits and stuff. siffrins i wanted to keep mostly similar to how i usually draw them. sleeveless top, horrible and unnecessary amount of belts,, knowing that hes maybe not as eager to change as some others might be. they are comfortable in their style and thats what matters. for isabeau i wanted to keep a familiar vibe, but still change it up. i think he would still wear clothes that are flowy-er etc etc, buuut yeayeayea. not an outfits guy really so jfkf theyre pretty simple.

2- themb!! they look different! siffrins hair is longer obv obv, and no lightless dye anymore. they tie it back usually, but he still likes it long. also some facial hair. important to me. (you may also notice lack of eyepatch,, personal hc that siffrin gets more comfortable without it after making up with bonnie some more. that he maybe depending on it a lot because he thought it would make them uncomfortable, which theyyy dont have to worry about. anymore! so less eyepatch. sometimes still though). isa on the other hand looks mooostly the same! except. ofc. bigger beard. you guys should know i love my beards by now. lawl. other than that mostly the same,, physical pain in me trying to think of a different hairstyle for him… maybe in the future but for now he gets This.

3- new cloak-thing for sif! his regular cloak is probably much more well suited for the travelling lifestyle, much less the domestic stay-at-home lifestyle, soo they changed it up! (and totally not an excuse for isabeau to try out craft stitching nooo definitely not as practice for the future whaat who said that.) they will still wear the old cloak occasionally, buuut not as often as they used to.

4- finally! bonding earrings!!! yes! the designs themselves are pretty simple. squares and change symbols for the design sif made for isa, and a star with bits that go ding-ding that isa made for sif. more importantly, siffrin carved the earrings himself! it is. hard. to do that. a design that is so small. there were many failed attempts and scraped ideas but they got it done! and isa loves them very much. for isas design, the main star part is glass, and the dangling bits are carved gems (picture isabeau, panicking because this is siffrin hes making these for so it needs to be perfect. and he gets odile to help him, because despite all the teasing she is ofc very fond, and helps him out with that aspect of the design.)

minho keeps it pretty standard, calling her baby or by her name sometimes when he's teasing or mad. sometimes he will switch it up and call her his little brat. baby calls him min, grumpykins (when hes being a dick), and sometimes to make him flustered she calls him kitty boy. lets not forget he likes to be called sir.. 👀

binnie is partial to the nickname sweetcheeks, he loves to pinch omegas chunky cheeks as he says it, eventually it evolves to different names that have the word sweet- sweetbuns, sweetiepie ect. omega would begin to call him sweetbin in return and it would eventfully evolve to sweet bean then just beanie lol

last but not least innie calls her stinky. in an affectionate way ofc! his little stinky. not because she smells bad but because when shes around the only thing he can smell is her and her delicious scent. if hes extra playful he calls her stink monster. baby in retaliation calls him mcmeany, she did call him mcdreamy due to his sexy cheekbones but after being called stink so many times she changed it to mcmeany. its playful for both of them tho and neither mind it

I invite everybody who took the other users side in that situation to find me a single situation where I was fatphobic and or went out of my way to be cruel or malicious to another user. After these crickets end, I'd like to invite the OP to prove that my reblog asking what their post means caused them hundreds of harassing messages in mere minutes, like they claimed. I will wait.

They posted one single message they got, from a person who wasn't a follower of mine and who responded to them after another user reblogged their post, which was confirmed by that other user. Before they closed their replies and closed themselves in an echochamber of people agreeing with them, I checked the notes a final time and though they did get criticism, as did I (and you all do know I listen to you and hear you and am always, ALWAYS open to conversation), those hundreds of messages of hate were nowhere to be seen.

Do you know why I know for sure they're lying about getting soooooooo much hate because of me? First of all, I've never cultivated a bullying culture on my blog. My followers can attest to that. I never supported users brigading for me. I don't have a cult following either way, but you can say I even discourage brigading. I always ask my followers not to fight others on my behalf. Not that it's necessary, because no one can say I get into drama often. Since making this blog, I can count maybe 5 situations that would be considered 'situations' to begin with. I don't have fans. I have bloggers that enjoy the content I post.

But secondly and more conclusively easily proven with numbers, I simply don't have that reach, nor do I have that many followers who are both active and fatphobic. I don't support fatphobia. I spoke out against fatphobia on this site. I've experienced it myself and I know how hurtful it is. My activity for this blog is abysmal due to me all but abandoning OTID in throes of my mental health battles. My posts get maybe 300 notes in total, over a 1000 if they're a hit reblog but that's it.

Hundreds of hate messages in minutes? Very unlikely. I'm not ashamed to admit OTID isn't what it used to be and that's completely on me and it's completely fine. My struggles stopped me from giving you the best possible OTID experience that you could've gotten and I feel very sorry for that, but I can be realistic and admit that this blog is just not that active anymore, and that's okay. All things die out with time. Lying on me wont change the facts that you're lying.

I also invite the people who say I should've known better and that my intent was unclear in asking the question, to explain about what I should have known better and to prove I was somehow malicious. Why would I be malicious? Why would I attack OP in the way they claim I did? When do I ever do that? How does that even make sense? You can still go through the notes and see that after I asked them for an explanation, nobody attacked them. You can also see that the OP went out of their way to attack me, while they explained calmly to another user what they meant.

What makes us different? Neither one of us understood. I can't read tones online, neither can that other user. I also am not a native speaker, so I sometimes get things wrong, hence why I asked. Why do they deserve kindness and I am accused of ill-intent for asking the same thing? Their replies and notes were off. I couldn't see the replies. This isn't Twitter. If you close those things off, other users don't see them and can't know you've made them. Why would anyone post things publicly but not expect a public response from anyone else?

I'd understand if I was attacking OP and they reacted like this, but I wasn't. My response wasn't malicious. I asked the source to explain, because I didn't understand. How is that malicious? To the people who say they see their point, please explain, because I do not see it and I really want to know. How is me genuinely asking what something that I don't understand means malicious? Even after publicly saying that I actually agree with a lot of things they said on their blog about fatphobia and so on. Supporting the cause? Understanding their points? Agreeing? I'm malicious?

I would also like to invite the people who claim I asked them in a known and rude/malicious meme format kind of way to prove that I did that. I did not know of this meme you speak of, but after checking for it online and finding the "well-known meme format" that was mentioned (which wasn't that well-known since I've never heard of it), my wording was not the same. It wasn't even close. So this argument, how can you claim it to be true?

And lastly, can anyone sincerely tell me how does it make sense for me to suddenly have a complete personality change, decide to reblog something to troll a user I don't even know just to be cruel to them, suddenly be malicious and fatphobic and be a completely different person that you all have known me to be for the past six years? If that was really who I am, wouldn't have the masked slipped way sooner? Why would I pretend to be not a complete POS all this time to have "What does this mean?" hill to die on? This is silly.

I wasn't being fatphobic. I wasn't mocking OP. I wasn't attacking OP. I wasn't being 'snarky'. I simply asked them what something they said meant, because I didn't understand what they meant. My brain wasn't computing. I didn't get their wording. I stumbled upon their post on the explore page, and wasn't seeking them out to antagonize them or anything else they might have claimed. I don't like hurting people. I don't go out of my way to hurt people. If I do hurt somebody I want to do everything in my power to correct it.

My followers weren't harassing them after that question. The OP didn't receive hundreds of hate messages after that question. OP is lying and it's easily to prove that they are. I don't know why they're lying and I'm not willing to get into that because I can't even assume, but one thing is clear - OP had a disproportionate reaction to a question that shouldn't have warranted such a reply. They doubled down and continued claiming victimhood in a situation where they haven't been victimized.

I genuinely feel sorry for them. I believe they've been victimized before. I know this sounds patronizing, but I really do feel sorry for them. I just don't appreciate that they've decided to do a victim cosplay over this and tried to villainize me for asking this question:

Ending this with my final thoughts: fatphobia is real and hurts people. I don't support fatphobia. I don't stand for it. I've met a lot of fatphobes in my life and all of them were deeply hurtful and insecure people who took out their insecurities on others. Here on OTID we don't vibe with shaming people for their weight nor for how they look. Fat people are people. Skinny people are people. We're all the same on the inside, bones and organs. What matters is how we treat others. I want to spend my days treating others with kindness and receiving kindness back. I like putting smiles on people's faces, not hurting others. I do get it wrong sometimes, and I acknowledge that, but I always try to correct myself, learn and be a better person. I admit when I'm wrong.

If this is my hill to die on, then so be it. But I promise you that I did not reblog OP's post and asked that question to make fun of them or invite harassment to them. Ranking my JWCT AUs by how likely I am to actually write them

Scream AU 7/10 It's a lot of work but I hyperfixated on this for a whole weekend and the whole thing is planned out. It's my baby. The chapters will be long and I know I'll get obsessed once I start. Might have to save this one for after A Levels.

Superhero AU 10/10 Already writing it. The question becomes if I'll finish it with everything else vying for my attention

Camp Cretaceous Didn't Happen 8/10 Well, the campers still went to camp but the park didn't fall while they were there. They parted ways as almost friends. Then, after dinosaurs make it to the mainland, Darius is working with the DPW and Brooklynn contacts him out of nowhere. She asks for help with an investigation. Roadtrip ensues. I only just came up with this one but it is officially rotting my brain. I have soooooooo many ideas. Plus, it's a little easier to get people on board than the other ones.

Star Wars AU 4/10 There's nothing concrete but sometimes a short scene pops into my head and I just think it would be cool. Might make a one-shot series or something. I don't know if I have the energy for a whole space opera.

Agents of Shield AU 1/10 This would literally just be for me and even then the idea isn't that concrete. I just think it's neat.

Small Town Mystery 7/10 Darius returns home to his hometown after six years away. He left after a mysterious incident tore apart his friendship group. Now he's home, he starts to uncover what happened all those years ago. The vibes would be great but I need to be in the right mood to actually write it. I'm tempted to make it Benrius (no promises) which would be the first time I'm writing them and that's scary.

Soulmates AU 6/10 I really want to write this but I don't actually know how it would work. As a multi-shipper, it would be really interesting to play with all the dynamics and I also want platonic soulmates in there. However, I'm still debating over what type of soulmates to go with. So eventually, it'll probably happen when I actually get my act together.

I don’t think JA is evil or anything but it is odd to me that even ignoring the cheating lines in the peripheral of the album, everyone’s reaction to “he didn’t want to marry her and kept her in quiet stasis for years” is “ oh he’s not bad”.

Not even from a talking about celebrities perspective. The numerous references to wanting children and lost youth on the album just hits so badly in your 30s. And it’s odd to me that wasting someone’s time to that extent while resenting their success is looked at as being a good guy. It just seems like trivializing an issue women have

Anon, I don’t mean this directed at you specifically, just a blanket reminder for myself that I don’t really care to discuss these men generally because I don’t think they’re worth the time or space and frankly, I don’t know enough about them or care to to devote space to them on my little fan blog.

That being said, I think the reason my take on it is more… subdued is because, well, unfortunately I think the situation inferred from Taylor’s music is so, so common. I have several friends (two in particular I can think of) who went through situations so eerily similar to the one Taylor and Joe presumably went through. Which is not so much to say that I’m being parasocial, but more that all breakups are the same to quote @taylortruther. It’s not to condone the men’s behaviour, but more to say that even amongst “dull normals,” most of us have firsthand or at least secondhand experience in it and have had to navigate the same conflicts.

I have no opinion on whether Joe is good or bad because I don’t know anything about him beyond Taylor’s music and I have zero interest to learn anything further. I have my own guesses as to what went down, which are probably similar to what most people around here are assuming, and it’s again so painfully pedestrian, especially for people in their 30s. Which is obviously so painful as a woman of childbearing age who is hoping to have those things.

I do agree that there is a lot of trivializing of these issues for women in general, and especially for Taylor in general in TTPD. Not to be all “I/we understand Taylor better” about it all, but there’s soooooooo much in TTPD that I think *a lot* of people are not picking up, which is why i say over and over again that it really is the thirtysomething album. (Which is not to be ageist lol, it’s more a state of mind.) Like, while I am not someone who foresees having children or even getting married myself, most of my close friends are and have, and so much of what Taylor sings about literally and subtextually is so painfully obvious to me and palpable that I’ve been shocked at how it’s been glossed over. (Maybe you don’t fully understand it until you’re sitting on your friend’s bathroom floor consoling her as her entire life crumbles before her eyes? Or is that just me?) But, many of us here on tumblr dot com have picked up what she’s put down.

I think it comes down to: even with “good” guys (and particularly with those who aren’t), the whole family thing does *not* mean the same thing to them, because the time constraints just don’t apply to them. You’d hope your partner would feel why it was pressing to you, but unfortunately I can think of a lot of people even in my own life who’ve experienced this same conflict with their partners. Because men can drag their feet until they think it’s the “right” time in a way women simply can’t. I had a friend who had a very Joever-like breakup over that very issue and it’s so, so painful and can also drive them to make questionable choices in the immediate aftermath.

Then when you add the whole resentment/whatever issue on top of it… it’s… a lot.

It can’t be anything about femininity or masculinity obviously. That’s both sexist, and cultural so can’t be what drives men-only attraction.

It can’t be anything about stated identity because someone could lie just as easily as they could tell the truth in such a statement, and it makes no sense because homosexuality and heterosexuality exists in other species with no stated identities. It’s not like other animals without gender are all pan.

sexuality (and more specifically labels such as gay, lesbian, bi, pan etc) isnt rly...a defined immutable trait for me, at least the way i view it, the concept itself and the identities that come with that concept are more so just labels people use to describe themselves with, to simplify their lived experiences. (example, many gay men use the label gay because their experience has been only attracted to men, or they consider themselves attracted to only men currently, andthey use this term because "gay" is colloquially understood to describe someone with that lived experience! its really just a way of simplifying and streamlining communication... sort of like pr...pronou- no. i shant say it.)

ANYWAY LOL i feel like u were asking more of a "WHY do gay men like other men , like why are they predisposed to be attracted to men" in like.. a biological sense? rather than an "identity" and "labels" way, and what they mean, ur question is more so asking in general why people are sometimes only attracted to one sex/gender despite gender norms and performance being largely cultural and not biological. and yeah, honestly fantastic point to discuss!. obviously its not really about femininity masculinity theyre not biological traits theyre cultural norms, the concept of being a woman and a man are, well, man-made and not genetic or "natural". obviously even scientists n shit dont know fully why some people are predisposed to be attracted to certain genders so im not knowledgable abt the physical aspect of same-sex or opposite-sex attraction nd predispositions for one or the other or both. i mean, to go more freudian here (sorry) it could be argued that it's nurture over nature for that sort of thing, and could be weighed in the same vein as preferring blondes over brunettes, or short ppl vs taller people (this is debatable obviously but u get my point.)
