Chip and gillion are doing some cuddling during the night, and chip has to get him back in his barrel so he wont dry out. But gill doesn't want to get up. And chip has to struggle to get him in the barrel

Gillion is sooooo eepy and soooo comfy just completely wrapped around Chip. He can feel himself drying out a little but he finest wanna mooooove. And chips like “no, c’mon, we gotta get you to your barrel” and he tries to wiggle out of Gillion’s grasp (which is difficult in its own right bc Gillion does NOT want to let him go, he is WARM and COZY) and when he does manage to extract himself, Gillion cracks an eye open and glares lightly at him (there isn’t any weight behind it, he’s too tired) and Chip just smiled and runs a hand through his hair. And he tries to get Gillion to get up on his own but Gillion is just laying there and shaking his head. And going “nooooooooooooooooooooo” and trying to pull Chip back to him. At some point Chip tries to just drag him out of bed but unfortunately, his bf is a big ass fish that weighs upwards of 200 pounds iirc

Eventually Chip caves and just climbs back into bed with Chip and they go to sleep. Gillion purrs very loudly when Chip lets him stay. He feels a little yucky when he wakes up but swimming alongside the ship for about an hour solves that problem. Besides, he got snuggles all night long, so it’s worth it to him

cherished memories ୧ ‧₊˚ moments have the tendency to sear themselves into one's mind. are there any particularly fond memories u share with ur fﾉo that stand out among the rest ?

there’s so many honestly :( during downtime on our endeavors, we spend a lot of moments together on the ship. lots of cozying up in the crows nest, enjoying meals together, watching the stars together and talking about everything. my fave moments are usually whenever we take watch together. there always has to be two members up at night to keep watch so zoro and i take it on for the majority of it! he’s more diligent about it while i like to cozy next to him. any sign of trouble though and we are both up! his sleep schedule is CRAZY :( he only sleeps from 4am-7 so i also cherish that time together. we snuggle up and he’s soooo eepy he gets a little softer around the edges and a smidge more affectionate. just wants to hold me close and snoooze ! my fave moment for real teehee ෆ

dialect ୧ ‧₊˚ what are ur fﾉo’s love languages ? physical touch, words of affirmation ? acts of service ? gift giving ? quality touch ? do u two have ur own little way of showing love to one another ?

ooo this is an interesting one ! i’m always very indecisive about choosing love languages because i feel like i can make a case for all of them lol ! i think if i had to narrow it down to one, i’d say quality time. he likes that i’m in his space, loves having me nearby. even if we aren’t doing that much, it brings him contentment. we were separated for 2 years so he unintentionally tries to savor every moment together to make up for it. we show our love for each other in small, subtle ways. i’m very much a caretaker so i always make sure that he takes breaks during his training, stays hydrated (beyond sake), and showers regularly (sigh). as for him, he knows how much i love physical touch and he lets me cling to him whenever i want (well, within reason LOL) but even during work outs he doesn’t mind when i hang around — laying under him or sitting on his back for push ups… yk !!! we weave each other into our daily routines and i think that’s the one of the best ways we show love to one another :’)
