you always experience something weird when the train is nearing cheongdam. it is as if your senses are being attacked in a sweep when goosebumps form in a wave before it calms down. then it starts again as the train approaches the outdoor part of its journey to cross the body of water. the lights inside start to flicker as you see outside to view the han river from under the bridge, yet sometimes, it's not a river, but a beach.

the sky is the clear turquoise blue that reflects the seawater. the view of the river bank turns into sand that's lining the barrier of land and sea. you could sometimes hear the sound of crashing waves from it even if you only see the setting sky as it changes from day to night. though now, that turquoise sky is getting darker and darker, even darker than the sunset you usually see when you cross on the hanging tracks from the cheongdam bridge to ttukseom park.

then you see it: the visions.

quick timelapse of the neon street, crumbling buildings crashing down as their support couldn't hold on, humanoid beings who can fly as they attacked something dark. only the color orange highlights everything before you see flickers of a woman with long platinum blonde locks and white dress, calling out your name as your eyes are trying to focus on her heterochromia ones.

you've always held onto the nearest surface as you glance at the dots turning red between cheongdam and ttukseom park stations, breathing in and out as you felt your palm getting sweatier when you felt the whole compartment seemed to shake more and more as you approached the bridge and let the light from outside coming in. recently, the shakiness is getting rougher and the vision more frequent. but, you've always try to comfort yourself and see the boy across from you if he is okay.

because it seems like you're not the only one to notice all the things you've experienced, especially when you see him mumbling whilst staring at the red dots lighting up on top of the door when the train approaches the bridge.

‪⋅˚₊‧ synopsis‧₊˚ ⋅ the last event of 2023 for txt and of course they had to end it with a bang

Red carpet outfit | makeup | nails | hair

᧔o᧓ the flashing lights were blinding and the photographers yelling out the members names was nothing new to the group. They kept their smiles on and continued posing until the MC came to ask questions.

᧔o᧓ “Joohyung-ssi how does it feel to finally perform one of your songs with a few of your members?” The MC asked. “I’m so excited! I always wanted to do this. I hope moa are just as excited and please cheer loudly for us.” Joohyung got embarrassed towards the end making everyone chuckle.

᧔o᧓ the MC made them each turn and say something nice to another. Beomgyu looked at Joohyung and even before saying anything the photographers went crazy with snapping pictures of the couple. With the sudden action made both of laugh. Beomgyu cleared his throat before speaking, “Joohyung is the definition of a perfect idol that our group is very proud of.” It was short and sweet which made Joohyung beam at him.

᧔o᧓ Joohyung turned to Yeonjun “um…” Joohyung was getting embarrassed again. “Y-you practice so hard and I admire you a lot for how hard working you are…um yeah.”

“Noona what was that?” Yeonjun laughed while hugging a flustered Joohyung. “I’m sorry, I was put on the spot.” Joohyung covered her face with her hands. “It’s ok noona.” Yeonjun rubbed her back comforting her.

᧔o᧓ Joohyung did go viral from her abs being more defined along with her elegant looks throughout the night. With her pearly white hair color Joohyung was called ice queen all over social media.

᧔o᧓ the second those stage lights turned on the whole venue filled with screams. The trio just had a chic aura to them with this performance. Joohyung combined the original feminine dance moves with a masculine touch to them to suit Yeonjun and Beomgyu better in the company opinion. Joohyung would still dance to the original choreo towards the end of the main chorus.

᧔o᧓ Yeonjun and Joohyung got to share the high note with each other which moas erupted with cheer. Soon after the high note Joohyung got on the floor to so you iconic leg move. This performance was definitely the talk of the night and probably the most anticipated one.

᧔o᧓ during ‘CTF’ the camera zoomed in on Joohyung during her part and she gave a flirty wink causing moas to scream. During the performance Joohyung felt her hair get caught on the gems on her jean jacket, so when it was time to take them off for ‘Tinnitus’ the jacket took some of Joohyung’s hair out of her braid. She held in her whimper from the pain and continued on performing.

᧔o᧓ many people praised Joohyung for doing hard choreo in heels, singing live while dancing, and for her amazing facial expressions.

᧔o᧓ “I miss the memo today.” Joohyung laughed, as she looked at her pink set and the all the members dark fits. The video then cut to the members looking at Joohyung’s abs, “I’m jealous of noona.” Kai pointed at Joohyung’s stomach. “You should come with us to the gym then.” Joohyung teased Kai. “I’m lazy~”

᧔o᧓ Soobin made Joohyung practice with him for his stage with Arin from Oh My Girl. He kept on smiling and laughing at Joohyung straight face while doing such a lively dance. “Noona you have to act cute!” Soobin whined, as he kept on dancing. “Fine.” Joohyung switch to being cute making Soobin burst out laughing.

᧔o᧓ the video shows the new trio practicing for ‘Gotta Go’. “Joohyung how about we do this-” Yeonjun shows what he thinks looks better in the dance. “Let’s try it.” The three continue practicing. Joohyung even practices her singing while dancing causing moas to go crazy on twitter with all the clips of her raw vocals.

᧔o᧓ Joohyung came to support Yeonjun as he was going to film his VCR intro. “It’s looks so good.” Joohyung watched Yeonjun through the tv. Once Yeonjun came back out of breath Joohyung immediately gave him a water bottle and hugged him, “you did so good junie-ah~”

᧔o᧓ it was now Soobin’s turn to perform his duo stage and just before leaving Joohyung stopped him to fixed his hair and outfit one last time. “There, you’re perfect.” She smiled up at him. “Thank you noona.” He just wanted to squeeze her with how endearing she was being.

᧔o᧓ “woah, woah, noona you look so chic!” Taehyun big boba eyes stare at Joohyung’s whole look. “Thanks, I really love it.” Joohyung looked into the mirror while fixing little things about her stage outfit. “Want me to take photos for you?” Yeonjun asked, already getting his phone ready. Joohyung gasped, “will you?” Yeonjun hummed ‘yes’ and already started pointing the camera towards Joohyung. They spent a good 10 minutes takes pictures, some solos pics then duo, and finally many trio ones. Just before leaving to the stage Joohyung started warming up her vocals and singing her parts. “I have to make sure my voice is in good condition before going.” Joohyung did feel a bit of pressure to perform the best she can, especially with this anticipated stage.

᧔o᧓ Joohyung came back to the waiting room squealing with happiness. “We were so good! I couldn’t even hear because of the cheers.” Everyone clapped and explained how good it looked. “I heard it through my ear-ins.” Beomgyu told the camera.

᧔o᧓ the group got a little break before their main group performance since they only had to perform short versions of their individual stages because they pre recorded the day prior. Joohyung mainly just fell asleep on the couch while Taehyun and Yeonjun did mini workouts.

᧔o᧓ the camera showed Soobin watching the ‘Gotta Go’ performance. “Woah they did a good job. Noona look so pretty with her makeup.” He chuckled while fixing his ear-ins and headset mic.

᧔o᧓ finally the members were done with all their performances and the cameraman showed them walking back into their waiting room. “Look there’s a chuck of my hair stuck.” Joohyung showed the camera her white hair strands clinging into the jewels of the jacket. “Did it hurt?” Yeonjun gasped at the sight. “It did! I had to hold in the pain.” Joohyung threw the jacket onto a makeup chair. “I had to suck in the tear that was coming out because of how hard I pulled it.” Joohyung cried, as she threw herself in the couch. 

᧔o᧓ “I think moas will enjoy all of our performances from today and we really enjoy performing all of our songs.” Joohyung did a mini clap, as she spoke. “Everyone did an amazing job today. Well done!” The members clapped before saying ‘fighting!’

~ january 2020 ~

A melody of Christmas music played from the tv, a soft joyful sound in the background to fill the noise between the babies babbles. The holiday was just over a week ago, the movies should be retired, but your boys couldn’t get enough. They bounced on their bottoms and giggled whenever the music would start all over again.

“Think I’m going to be singing Jingle Bells for the rest of my life,” Soobin said, his warm voice comforting you just as his arms around your shoulders as he settled on the couch behind you. 

Cross legged you sat on the floor, keeping a watchful eye over your twins, Chan biting on the colorful blocks sprawled everywhere while Sunoo crawled around on the carpet exploring his favorite space in the house. 

They were a year and almost three months old, having celebrated their birthdays back in October right here in their home. Your entire family showed up, Joy and Jin popping in an hour earlier than expected with piles of wrapped boxes in their arms for your boys to open later. Later finding out they were boxes of clothes and shoes, specially ordered from a designer Joy was currently hyper fixated on, along with a check in the card for an amount of money you and Soobin positively could not accept, and a promise to redo the boys bedrooms as they grew older.

The clothes were nice, as were the shoes. You’re sure Sana accepted these kinds of gifts when her baby’s were turning a year old, but your boys simply wouldn’t last. They’d get all but one use out of each outfit with how careful one needed to be with the fabrics. You were raising twin boys, twin boys that were just learning to stand and still needed assistance with eating. Blow outs were still a common occurrence, both you and Soobin were tossing out multiple onesies weekly.

Both Chan and Sunoo hated shoes. Hated them. Once they were slipped on, they were kicked off. Soobin began keeping track of when the boys did it, when they were frustrated by sensory things, even though they were only a year old. Both of them, to a certain degree, were already showing signs of sensory distress.

Important things to pay attention to, Soobin had told you one night after a day of fighting with the little ones to put any kinds of clothes on.

He reminded you that they were still babies on top of everything else that flooded your brain, leaving you in equal distress. Somehow his words relieved you for the time being.

About a week ago, Christmas Day, your mother and step father insisted on the stacks of presents you and Soobin’s disapproving eyes fell upon. Many of the gifts weren’t even for your twins, but for the two of you, and they were unseriously backhanded.

A brand new toaster the two of you couldn’t even begin to afford, to replace that old thing you’ve had since college, Soobin! A blender, an ice maker, an air fryer, a whole new set of silverware… All things you and your husband didn’t want. Things you didn’t need.

Things you accepted with grace, and gratitude. Though you joked a few times about selling them online to add to the boys bank accounts. As much as you appreciated the gifts, helping with the boys' futures was ideal, and something you’ve mentioned. Many times. Soobins mother was the only one to listen, and she could barely afford to do so herself.

Taehyun and Sana didn’t come around for Christmas, they spent it down at their home in Avida. Sana’s parents and apparently many members of her family spent it there with the family of four, or so as Joy informed you while the two of you each cradled a twin as your husbands cooked dinner. It didn’t surprise you to learn her family stayed there, their house could fit a plethora of couples within it, the thing was giant, nearly bigger than the one you were raised in. 

You hadn’t seen Taehyun since the twins' birthday party, only him and his son, Minho, who was five years old making an appearance for a couple of hours before Sana called him home. They mostly stuck to themselves, Minho exploring around the twins' toys for a bit, or snuggling on his grandfather's lap.

Few words were exchanged between you and your step-brother, who was surprisingly sober. 

Hopefully for the sake of his son, Soobin had mumbled, having exchanged no words with the man dressed in black. Those two had it out for one another, whether your intuition over Taehyun’s aversion to Soobin was true or not.

Taehyun watched the boys crawl around, watched them interact with Soobin’s family, and kept his eye on them all while hugging the walls, like he was collecting recon. From time to time he’d send messages on his phone, and you wondered if it was to his wife, or to one guest invited not in attendance.

A boy you hadn’t spoken to in almost two years.

Behind you, Soobin pulled you closer between his legs, either one settling by your sides. You slotted in perfectly between his knees and allowed your head to lull backward onto him. Looking up at him from where you sat on the floor, you gave him the smallest of smiles, one he returned. Leaning over you, he pressed an upside down kiss to your lips, staying there for a few seconds before he pulled away and pressed one to your forehead.

“I’m glad you’re here,” he whispered against your skin. A slight pain speared through your heart, one that made an appearance on your brows. Soobin clicked his tongue and kissed you in the same spot, willing the discomfort away. “None of that. Look at our boys.”

Lifting your head, Soobin wrapped his arms around your chest and rested his chin over your hair. You both let out a laugh at once as the twins suddenly became aware of one another occupying the same space. Sunoo had crawled in front of Chan, the two sitting on their bottoms smiling at each other. They babbled incoherently at the same time, making the other laugh. Then, Sunoo lifted a hand and attempted to grab onto Chan’s foot, making his brother squeal and kick his legs like crazy. The oldest of the two watched his twin make a scene, then copied him.

“They’re best friends,” Soobin said quietly to not distract the boys. “Two happy little best friends, how lucky are they?”

“So lucky,” you whispered, holding onto his wrists with a grip that had potential to leave a mark behind. The little ones wouldn’t be here smiling at one another if it weren’t for the man wrapped around you.

The pain within was too much to bear. The dizzying nausea, the crippling, stay in bed type of sadness that infected your limbs every single day. The heartbreak that came in waves, typically crashing whenever Soobin held one of the boys, or both, rocking them to sleep, or soothing their cries. An emptiness, a disconnect that kept you so far away from accepting his love no matter how hard you tried, making you wonder if the guilt was ever going to leave, or, if you’d be forced to live your life stuck this way, in a push and pull of loss, shame, and gut wrenching heartbreak.

Part of me feels guilty writing this all down on paper instead of saying it to you, when I could be saying it to you, but I know one day you’ll understand why. Third Person POV

(Y/n) (L/n) debuted as an actress in early 2019. Her popularity grew gravely with each show and movie she did, as did her roles in them. She started out as someone who only had one line to being the lead. Netizens and international fans all fell in love with the young actress, especially once she joined some variety shows and showed the fans her personality. 

In the same year, 2019, a new 5 member boy-group debuted under Bighit Ent. Tomorrow X Together, also known as TXT. TXT just like (Y/n), grew in popularity and soon had quite the fanbase. 

The moment that all the members of TXT met each other they found out they were soulmates as a light red string appeared, it gently wrapped itself around their wrists as a bracelet. As they studied the string they found that it seemed to be searching for another wrist to wrap around yet it could not find it. The boys all looked at each other, happy to have found one another, albeit a little disappointed to be missing one soulmate. “Hey, we’ll find our missing soulmate soon!” Beomgyu said, trying to cheer everyone up. “Yeah, we’ll find them!” Kai exclaimed happily as all of them smiled. 

Two years passed and TXT’s Soobin had become an MC for Music Bank, the members were really proud of their leader for accepting it and branching out a little outside of his comfort zone. Soobin really enjoyed and he was very excited when it was announced that (Y/n) (L/n) would join him as the new MC for Music Bank. All members of TXT found (Y/n) very cute and they loved her acting, so Soobin was happy about getting to work with one of his idols - though Bebe Rexha probably would have been his first choice if he could choose. 

Soobin’s POV

I woke up feeling super excited. Today was (Y/n)’s first day as an MC and I would finally get to meet her! I really hoped we would get along well. The other boys joked around with me at breakfast, saying I was too energetic and outgoing to be the real Choi Soobin. I just smacked Beomgyu on the head as he said that before leaving. On the way to the studio I practiced how I would introduce myself to (Y/n), I wanted to make a good first impression. My whole body was tingling with excitement. 

I hurried inside the studio as soon as the car was parked, turned out, (Y/n) hadn’t shown up yet. She was running late because of traffic. Hopefully she would just get here before we have to go on stage. I was nervous, more than usual, probably because I would meet (Y/n). 3 minutes before we had to go on stage, (Y/n) came running inside the studio. She was even prettier in person than on tv. My whole body felt warm, I felt butterflies in my stomach, a similar feeling to when I met the other boys for the first time. As I took a glance at my hand, I saw the familiar red string that I hadn’t seen in years, wrapped around my wrist. My eyes followed the string as it stretched outwards, looking for the person who would complete it. Soon enough the string found the wrist it wished to rest around, as my eyes traveled from the wrist to the person’s face, I gasped. I met the shocked eyes of none other than (Y/n). (Y/n) was our final soulmate. 

Before we had a chance to speak we had to go on stage. It was a bit awkward but I knew we would be able to speak after the show. I was a bit anxious, what if she didn’t like me or the others. No, I shouldn’t think like that, we’re soulmates. She will like us. Just like we like her. After the show ended, (Y/n) and walked of stage and just stood awkwardly beside each other. I didn’t know what to say and I guess neither did she. I thought of what Yeonjun or really any of the others would do in this situation. “Hey, I’m Choi Soobin, I’m a member of TXT if you’ve heard of us,” (Y/n) giggled as I put my hand out for her to shake. She looked down at my hand before she met my eyes once more, she took my hand and gently shook it. “I’m (Y/n), I’m an actress if you’ve heard of me,” “Of course I have, I love your dramas,” “I love your songs too! Especially Runaway!” We continued talking for a few minutes, I told (Y/n) that I’m not her only soulmate but all members of TXT are. (Y/n) gave me her number and told me to text her so she could meet the others too. 

As I got home that day and told the others that I had met our soulmate, the other four were very jealous. “THAT’S SO UNFAIR WHY DID YOU GET TO MEET HER BEFORE US” Kai and Beomgyu yelled in unison. Taehyun and Yeonjun didn’t believe me at first but as they saw how serious I was they began jumping around in happiness. “WE’RE GONNA MET OUR SOULMATE, WE’RE GONNA MEET OUR SOULMATE” We all jumped around, chanting happily as we celebrated finally meeting our final soulmate. 

Third Person POV

The day after, Soobin texted (Y/n) and so they arranged a day when they could all meet up. The six of them were happy and spent the entire day chatting, getting to know one another, and possibly a hug and kiss happened too. They told their managers and so it was arranged for them to meet regularly. This then turned into (Y/n) moving in with TXT, she didn’t switch agencies just to keep it hidden from the public. The managers thought that it might be too suspicious for (Y/n) to swap agencies before her contract was over. 

The soulmates were happy to live with each other. Loving every second of their lives. All was good in their paradise, until a saesang found them on a date. The soulmates had been discussing with the companies a plan on how to announce their relationship, them being soulmates and all meant that the chance of them breaking up was just about zero so it would be better to just announce it and hope that the fans would congratulate them rather than hate on them. 

It was a late autumn day, getting colder and closer to Christmas each day. A few snowflakes had fallen earlier in the day. Now, the sun had set and the sky had been cast into a deep darkness. Our six soulmates were out on a date, they had a table booked at a nice restaurant. Unbeknownst to them, an upset fan had been following the group since they saw their favorite idol parading around with his group and a girl. A girl the fan knew quite well, everyone knew who (Y/n) was. The fan followed them, capturing picture after picture in hopes of destroying the young actress for hanging out with the fans favorite idol. 

(Y/n) and the boys of TXT had a nice dinner together. As they went home they were all happily laughing, enjoying the cold evening together. It was quite peaceful outside, most people staying inside to escape the cold breezes of late autumn. As they got home, they changed into their pyjamas and went to bed all cuddled together. Happy and more in love than ever. 

The morning to come though, was not as happy as the night before. 

The six soulmates woke up to all their phones blowing up with texts and calls from their managers and friends from their companies. (Y/n) and Soobin were the first to answer the calls from their respective managers while Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Kai checked the texts and found the pictures of them out with (Y/n) the previous night. Also pictures of comments from thousands of fans sending hate to them but mostly to (Y/n). Threats of boycotting the actress’ works or the boys, however majority of the threats were death-threats directed toward (Y/n). 

“Hello,” “(Y/n), were are you?” “I am at the apartment, with the boys. Why?” “Stay there. We’re sending a car with security to get you to the company,” “What’s going on?” “Someone exposed your relationship and people aren’t happy. Soobin too ended his call. The same information had been relayed to him, a car was being sent for them. A crisis meeting was to be held between their company and (Y/n)’s to figure out how to deal with the situation. Never before had a soulmate relationship been announced this way to the public, never before had such a big controversy arroused from it. 

Soon enough, they had all gotten dressed. Just in time for the two cars to arrive for them. Fortunately, no one knew where they lived so it was safe for them to walk out to the cars. The problems would be once they arrived at the companies. Because that’s where the public can get to them. 

For three days, the members of TXT and (Y/n) had to stay at their company buildings for safety reasons. During the first day, the companies had written up an explanation and proof of the soulmate bond that excited between TXT and (Y/n). After the response to the saesangs post was published, majority of the public calmed down. The soulmate bond had not been included in the saesangs post as they didn’t know of it so once it was announced netizens found their relationship sweet. However, a smaller group of people still threatened the safety of (Y/n) and TXT. That group couldn’t accept that their favorite idol or actress had found their forever person/s. 

After three days, it was safe enough for the soulmates to return to their home. A new article was published, announcing (Y/n)’s transfer to HYBE as her exclusive contract with her company had come to an end. Now, the public was celebrating their relationship as most people dreamed of finding their own soulmate. Of course, a few people were always going to be against their relationship but they were happy together and now that they could go on dates outside without worrying about being seen, they went out as often as possible.

''I'm here for my brothers, I'm here for my brothers…'' Ming repeated to herself as she sat in her car, stalling herself from going inside the building. She glanced at the bags of food her grandmother had prepared for the members, a way to show her congrats as she had named it.

Ming contemplated turning her car back on, fleeing to the dorms and eating all the food herself, but she knew it would upset the trio and that was the last thing she wanted to do. So, she put her mask on, got the food bags and made her way inside.

It was rather easy to avoid the fans and cameras waiting outside the building. She has been going to this place for 8 years, she knows the loopholes. Once inside, Ming had only one goal: making it to their dressing room without any interactions that weren't her members.

That seemed too much to ask for as she bumped into a body when turning a corner. ''Sorry, I'm so sorry.'' He apologized, repeatedly bowing his head.

''It's okay, Soobin-ah! Don't worry about it.'' Ming assured him, the young guy looked flustered and embarrassed.

Soobin pointed at the bags she was holding. ''You need help with that, Noona?''

''That's sweet, but it's fine.''

Over the last few months, she and Soobin had grown a close friendship. It was mostly thanks to Yeonjun and the time they spent together, but she had become like another older sister to the young leader. He had approached her at the company once, he had his worries about being an idol and Ming provided a listening ear and comforting advice.

Her and Soobin's conversation didn't last long as the young man had to make an urgent visit to the bathroom and she didn't want to hold him up any longer.

Ming set her journey further into making it to the BSS dressing room. She had run into the Viviz girls. Ming wasn't that close to them, but Seungkwan was and she knew he would scold her if she didn't say anything to them.

Eventually she made it there without any other interactions that would ruin the rest of her day. She knocked on the door and opened the door, revealing herself to the members and staff. ''Surprise!'' Ming made a reference to Joshua's infamous line.

''Yerimie!''

Seungkwan had been the first one to get to her, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. Dokyeom waited for the unit's maknae to pull away before embracing her himself and kissing her cheek.

''Ah! Ming-sunbaenim came to support her juniors! We are so honored!'' Soonyoung loudly exclaimed in all his excitement, not even waiting for Dokyeom to be done hugging her.

She held the bags up. ''Look what your senior brought for you!'' The three of them took over the bags, seeing as she was holding so many of them.

While the staff laid the food out, Ming took the time to greet Coups, Wonwoo and Mingyu who had also come down to Music Bank to support the unit. ''I thought you were in Daegu?'' The leader asked, squeezing her shoulder.

''I was, but I wanted to surprise the members,'' she smiled at him, ''and I drove myself here, all the way from my house.''

''You're not with your manager?'' Mingyu seemed surprised she had come all alone to the music show. Ming shook her head. ''Nope, cool right?'' Wonwoo ruffled her hair upon seeing the proud look on the girl's face.

''Yeah, but make sure you take one of them with you when you go back to the dorm, okay? I don't want you driving alone when you're tired.'' Coups told her, he knew it was an exhausting trip going from Daegu all the way to Seoul.

Ming held her hand up to her head, saluting him like a soldier. ''Yes, chef.''

''Yerimie!'' Soonyoung's voice boomed through the dressing room, ''did grandma make this? It's so good!''

She nodded her head. ''Yes! It's her way of congratulating you guys with the new album.'' Ming confirmed it was indeed her grandmother's homemade food.

''I love you, grandma!'' Seungkwan exclaimed, talking with his mouth still full with noodles.

''Guys, don't eat too much, you still have to perform!'' One of their managers scolded them, although he was highly amused by their excitement for the food.

Ming sat herself down on one of the few unoccupied seats in the room, in-between Coups and Wonwoo. ''Did you go see my parents?'' The leader questioned her. He had told her before she left that she needed to visit them, to make up for missing out on celebrating the Lunar New Year with them.

''I did, your mother basically kidnapped me! I went there in the morning and I stayed there until almost midnight! She would not let me leave.'' Ming recalled the visit to Cheol's family home and how his mother practically held her as a hostage.

Both members burst out laughing at her dramatic answer. ''I want to tell you to not over exaggerate, but I know you're not.'' Coups knows how much his mother loved the second youngest member.

''That's cute, she didn't want you to leave.'' Wonwoo said, finding it endearing.

''Yeah, she also said I was her favorite child.''

''She what?!''

''You three look like you could be her uncles.'' Ming teased as Eunchae stood in-between them, ready to film their 'Fighting' TikTok with her. Soonyoung, Dokyeom and Seungkwan gave her a glare, while Yeonjun and Soobin laughed along with her.

The two TXT members had just filmed their own challenges with the BSS unit, but they stuck around to talk with Ming.

''Your brothers must have been happy to see you again.'' Yeonjun said as they were on the topic of Ming's visit to her family.

Ming jokingly rolled her eyes. ''Jungwoo was really glad, he hugged me and everything. But Junghoon didn't even care, he was like ''What are you doing here?'' I was so offended, I had just spent 3 hours in a car by myself and he greets me like that.'' She told them, still unimpressed with the indifferent way Junghoon had welcomed her.

''He sounds like a lot of fun.'' Soobin giggled, amused by the contrast between Ming's younger brothers. She pointed her finger at him. ''You and him are the same age, you should get drinks.'' He simply continued smiling, a bit too flustered to say anything further.

''How are promotions going? Good?'' Ming asked them, feeling like she had been talking about herself for too long.

They both nodded their heads. ''Yeah, it's been great with the fans and everything.'' Yeonjun replied, a genuine smile on his face.

''We've been really enjoying it.'' Soobin agreed.

''That's good to hear, especially since you almost broke my back when filming that video together.'' Ming recalled the TikTok she filmed with Soobin a week earlier.

Both guys burst out laughing at the memory with the younger man's cheeks burning up due to embarrassment. ''I'm sorry! I jumped too early!'' He apologized again, still feeling a little bad about it.

''I'm teasing, Soobinnie!'' She exclaimed, hitting his arm in the process. ''The fans seemed to really like it, so it's okay.''

The loud voices of BSS switched Ming's attention from Yeonjun and Soobin to her three members, who were finished shooting their TikTok with Eunchae. The young girl seemed a bit unsure of what to do next, anxiously standing on the side.

Ming excused herself and approached her. ''Manchae! You want to get some snacks with me?'' She suggested, extending her arm for her to take. The girl shyly nodded her head and they linked their arms together, the rest of the members fondly watching the two of them leave.

''You did really well! For your first time as an MC, you already looked like a pro.'' Ming complimented her, giving her encouragement as the junior had expressed her nerves before the broadcast began.

Eunchae bowed her head, cheeks coloring red. ''Thank you, unnie. It was much more fun than I had expected and your members were really fun to interview.'' She laughed, thinking back on how BSS had given her tips during their small interview.

''They're crazy, those guys.'' Ming shook her head, although a grin appeared on her face.

They arrived at the vending machine, Ming stopped Eunchae once she saw the younger girl pull out her wallet. ''No, no! I'm paying! I'm your older sister, remember?'' Eunchae tried protesting Ming's words, but to no avail.

''Pick what you want, don't look at the prizes.'' The Seventeen member was excited when she got to pull her ''older sister card'', she enjoyed taking care of people.

While Eunchae took her time choosing what she wanted to eat, Ming's focus shifted to the loud group of men on the other side of the hallway, or in better words to the Canadian rapper who was holding their trophy.

She had been blatantly naive thinking she would be alright seeing him again after everything that had happened more than a week earlier. Despite telling her family she was there because she missed them and the city, the rejection by Minhyung played a huge factor in getting away from Seoul.

It worked for a time. She spent time with her brothers, her grandmother and even her father who she had assumed would be too busy to even hold a proper conversation with. But seeing the man again, it hurt. He looked good, he looked like he was enjoying himself. And as much as she understood his untold reason for not wanting to see her anymore, she hated that he seemed so unfazed by everything. He even happily greeted her own members on stage when they congratulated him on the music show win.

Ming felt bad for wanting to yell at her members for showing the man, who had stamped on her heart, so much kindness, but it wouldn't be fair to them. They had nothing to do with this and it wasn't in their nature to be hostile or cruel to anyone.

''Unnie?''

Eunchae's voice pulled her from her thoughts. ''Sorry, did you choose?''

The young girl glanced up at her in concern, but nodded her head and pointed at the particular snack she wanted, a simple bag of chips. ''That one.''

''Good choice!'' Ming paid and gave it to Eunchae who happily thanked her.

The two beloved maknaes engaged in some small talk about the most random topics. Eunchae was still quite starstruck whenever she was with Ming, so the responsibility to lead the conversation often fell on Ming's shoulder who was famously known for being the definition of social anxiety.

A pair of eyes watched them from afar, hoping he was being subtle with his staring. He had expected to see her once he found out from Jungwoo that the SVT unit would have overlapping promotions with their own group. Just like the other broken half of the pair, it was difficult and all the pep talks he had given himself flew right out the window.

A panicked rush went through him when her eyes looked right into his, peeking over Eunchae's head. His panic was replaced with disappointment when Yerim put her arm over the new MC's shoulder and guided her away, their backs turned to him.

''Who does he think he is? Looking at me like that.'' Ming thought to herself, the urge to roll her eyes almost getting to her.

She brought Eunchae back to her dressing room, promising her they would get dinner sometime and get to know each other better. The young girl had reacted delightly shocked by the offer and accepted, shyly asking Ming if they could exchange phone numbers.

After giving Eunchae her contact information, she bid her goodbye and made her way back to her own dressing room, ready to go home.

''Thanks for coming, Yerimie! We'll get some food one of these days, alright?'' Seungkwan sighed into her neck, appreciative of her coming all the way down from Daegu to show them her support.

Dokyeom was changing his clothes, so she shouted a simple goodbye to him and Soonyoung had lifted her off the ground, bidding her goodbye in a dramatic, Shakespearean way. ''When will I see you again? Oh, no! Our sunbaenim is leaving us!''

Ming flicked his head. ''Stop the dramatics! We live in the same building.'' Her response gathered some laughs from the staff around them.

''Oppa, I'm gonna go to the bathroom quickly and then we'll leave, okay?'' She told one of the managers, keeping her promise to Coups who had already left along with Mingyu and Wonwoo.

Ming usually took her time when it came to going to the toilet, but since she had someone waiting on her, she sped up her process. She was focused on getting back as quickly as possible to her manager, she didn't notice someone waiting on her.

''Yerim?''

She flinched, not expecting someone to stand next to the bathroom entrance. ''Oh my god.'' Her hand flew to her chest.

''Sorry, I didn't want to scare you.'' Minhyung apologized, anxiously fiddling with his fingers.

Her eyes slowly met his, both of them not knowing what to do next. ''Uh, congrats on the win.'' She told him, that being the first thing to come into her mind.

''Thanks.'' He looked like he wanted to add something, but changed his mind and didn't.

Ming awkwardly glanced around, partly relieved there wasn't anyone around to see the pair's interaction. ''I have to go, uh, goodbye.''

''Wait, uh, can- can we talk?'' Minhyung gently grabbed her arm, preventing her from leaving. Ming glimpsed down at his hand and he immediately pulled away once he noticed.

She took a step away from him. ''Why? I thought you didn't want to see me anymore.'' She was going the petty route, slightly cringing as the words left her mouth.

''That's what I wanted to talk about, you see I-''

''Ming-ssi, are you ready to go?'' She must have taken a long time, because her manager appeared from behind Minhyung.

Her gaze softened as it fell on the older man, some tension leaving her body. ''Yeah, sorry! I was just congratulating him,'' she explained, ''goodbye, Mark-ssi.'' Without sparing him another glance, she walked past him and strung her manager along.

Minhyung watched her leave, a certain sadness visible in his eyes.

Mark. She called me Mark.

“What just happened?” Yeonjun thought as he stood outside of her apartment dumbfounded. He didn't know what else to do. He was so shocked and angry he could feel his heart beat in his ears. A million thoughts running through his mind on what to do or say. Some productive. Most petty. A faint sound broke the slience coming from behind the door. He moved forward placing a gentle hand on it and his ear. Quiet sobbing. His mind felt blank now, heartbreaking and tears that had been threatening to fall finally breaking the dam. It felt like he stood with his ear to that door for hours before he finally removed himself and began the walk home. He could have easily gotten a car to take him home but he needed the walk. Plus the dorms weren’t that far; he's walked it before. Normally in a better mood.

He replayed the fight in his head over and over again before he pushed it to the back of his brain like he did most things like hurt him. You had no right putting him in that position. Of choosing between his best friend and his… well his freedom. He knew it was wrong of him to call you what he did. It was just his anger. He knows how he gets about guys treating you like that. You are too precious for that. For Jackson fucking Wang. FUCK. Remembering that really pissed him off. Why do you lower yourself to men like that? And then you had to bring up JOHNNY of all people, you knew how that made him feel. He’ll never forget the feeling he felt after walking in on you two. That's one memory he’ll never be able to put away. Walking around looking for you after Music Bank event back when they were promoting the Eternity album, and catching you being bent over the couch in Johnny’s dressing room being fucked from behind. Bastard didn't even have the decency to stop. He looked Yeonjun straight in the eye and asked him what he wanted as he continued to thrust into you roughly. And you, trying to hide your face from embarrassment. Moaning out, trying to get him to stop as Yeonjun said nothing, leaving in a furious hurry.

That memory never failed to make Yeonjun livid. Wanting to take his fist to Johnny's face everytime he sees him. Even after the two of you made up. But this time it brought tears to his eyes. Which had never happened, much to his surprise. Anger is replaced with genuine sadness. Seeing you with another man like that. The noises you made, the expressions you made were made only for his eyes…He shouldn’t have called you slut. He's a bigger slut than you are. And you're not even a slut. You haven’t with been with anyone since Johnny. Yeonjun wiped the tears from his eyes as he smiled a little. He’d be lying if that statement didn't make him happy. Knowing you were only his for this whole year. And he knows it’s toxic. But then again he didn’t ASK you to do that. That was your choice. He felt the tears again. How could you even say that you two weren’t friends. You’re best friends. He tells you everything. He trusted you more than his members most times. He cares so much for you. He loves you…

Yeonjun walked up the stairs and went to the dorm. Releasing the first normal, deep breath. He stood there in the darkness of the doorway, thinking of the doorway of your apartment. That was where you were. Still there, probably crying. He knew when you cried you tried to hold back and covered your mouth. Afraid of the sound of it. He bent down, hand to the door. He felt like he could see you in the dark. Back up against the door and cover your mouth as you sobbed and sobbed. Even shaking a little. He felt his anger bubble up again.This time it was laced with guilt. He stood up kicking off his shoes and going into his room, slamming the door and sitting on his bed. The tears falling again he sat there crying for a moment, knees up to his chest. He grabbed his phone, secretly hoping to see a text from you. There was nothing, so trying to calm down, he dialed a number. Taking deep breaths as it rang.

“Yeonjun? What's up, it's the middle of the night?” A grogging voice responded through the phone.

“Binnie…” he said voice trembling more than he intended.

“Yeah? What's wrong?” Yeonjun stayed quiet so as not to break out into tears again. “Yeonjun, say something you're scaring me. Did something happen?!”

“Binnie I- I fucked up…” he finally said

“Woah woah woah! What happened are you talking about?!”

“Changbin, I don't know what to do…I think I lost her man.” he said voice trembling quietly.

“Okay hold on, tell me everything.” Yeonjun proceeded to quietly tell him the events oh tonight in between sniffles and quiet sobs. Changbin listened intently.

“Yeonjunnie…You know I’ll always be honest with you. Right?”

Yeonjun hummed in response and Changbin continued. “Do you think you are in the right place to hear the truth right now…” Yeonjun responded that he wasn’t sure. He knew it's what he had to hear but he was stubborn and he wasn't sure he could. Maybe he should have called Wooyoung. But he’d probably get the same response. Changbin sighed “you're gonna have to hear it at some point man, it's just up to you when. If that's not now that's up to you…You’ve had a hard night just get some sleep okay, man?” Yeonjun sniffled and responded with a noise.

“I love you man i'll call you tomorrow okay?”

Changbin was about to hang up when Yeonjun spoke up. “Bin!... We’ll be okay right? It's just an argument. Friends argue all the time and they're fine. So we’ll be fine. Right?”

Changbin sighed heavily.”Yeonjun. Be honest with yourself. Are you two really just friends?”

when it was announced that ivy was coming back, the fans were really excited because it was the same time as most of her close friends including txt!

this was ivy's first comeback after her wedding in November. the fans who were present for the music show recordings, were in awe when she showed them her ring! the moment was also captured in the inkigayo behind the scenes fotage

the first music show interaction was with indeed her hubby and fans were so glad that fans caught the interaction just because how cute it was. the couple was seen talking about how they didn't have any milk in their house! the fans burst out laughing and it is only then that the couple realized that they had their mic on

this era, in fans opinion, brought in the most interactions with other idols or her friends with ivy. ivy did her challenge for this comeback with almost every single one of the idols that were promoting during the same time as her or if they weren't? she went to her house to do it. soleils swore that they stan a mad women and that they're proud of it!

when soleils asked her about that tour she promised them, she laughed and asked them to wait a little longer and that it's in the works!

ivy was still promoting when ttpd was released and txt who was in the dance studio with ivy when the album dropped, say that they've never heard anybody scream that loud. the moment was caught on a txt vlog and fans can see that beomgyu drops the sandwich he was eating, soobin fliches and kai screams and yeonjun looks surprised and alarmed for a second but looks like it's just another day for him. taehyun, who was not in the room, came bolting in hearing the scream. ivy just laughed at the others reactions when all of them were just playfully scolding her.

for a performance, baekhyun surprised even ivy with a surprise appearance at music bank to perform dream with her. fans were so excited to get an interaction between them and their ears were blessed with the beautiful vocals of the two vocal gods of kpop.

ivys last performance was a chaotic to see the very least. she performed with her crew, aka her managers, stylists etc. and they just ended up laughing looking at eachother almost every 5 minutes and netizens, even korean netizens who are known to be really brutal, even found it really funny.

jake laughs to himself and takes yours and his mugs to the kitchen and washes them. he takes the folded blanket off the back of the couch and drapes it over you. he turns your tv off and switches off most of the lights, leaving one on so it wasn't too dark in your apartment.

a few hours pass and he has left since, you open your blurry eyes and rub them, then you grab your phone from beside you and look at the time, 3:44am.

"shit." you curse at yourself, as you get up.

you look into the kitchen and see the already washed dishes and laugh to yourself, you click jake's contact and text him a thank you for cleaning and locking up regardless of how late it was when he left.

you make your way to the bathroom and brush your teeth and finally get into bed, sleeping in a proper location.

a few more hours pass and the sound of your 12pm alarm starts blaring in your ears. you grab your phone annoyed and look at your recent notifications then put it back down closing your eyes, your phone vibrates against the wooden nightstand and you groan, grabbing your phone again. you see a text reply from jake saying no problem, and you smile at your phone.

"did i just smile at my fucking phone?" you ask yourself laughing. you reply back and the two of you continue to text throughout the day.

as you make your way back to the dorms a fellow member in the car asks you, "why are you smiling at your phone like that?"

"it's probably jake." miya chimes in teasingly.

you roll your eyes and put your phone down, "it was nothing."

"it was definitely jake." miya teases a little more with a giggle, "y/n seems to be in a good mood, maybe she finally got some."

you hit your member on the arm softly, "why does your mind always go straight to the gutters, i could've been texting soobin or something."

"whenever you text soobin you always have a disgusted look on your face, you never smile for soobin." miya says laughing , "but i'll take your word for it."

you guys arrive at incheon airport and you text jake letting him know you will probably be on airplane mode for a few hours while you head to tokyo for your official debut in japan.

"okay guys, remember once we arrive we are immediately going to go practice the choreography for the song, make sure to get some rest on the plane." your manager says as you guys find your seats on the plane.

you sit down in your spot and put your headphones on and close your eyes trying your best to get some shut eye.

you stretch your arms out and stand up tiredly. the whole group makes their way off the plane and to the baggage area to pick up the luggage, after that you guys make your way outside and see two black vans pull up. your managers instruct you guys to get on, and you quickly make your way to the dance studio.

you take your phone off airplane mode during the ride to the studio and text jake that you've landed and that his efforts in wishing the plane would crash did not work.

it was finally friday and the day has come where jake has to mc with someone else. you pull out your phone and click the live stream of music bank. he stood beside a member of class:y and you can't help but feel a little jealous, because that is your spot she stands in.

you watch your phone attentively and you can't help but notice the nervousness jake feels through the screen at this moment. the way he spoke, the way he was a little too serious and not so playful. watching this reminds you of your first show with him. on your laptop you scroll through twitter where netizens are talking about the girl and him mc-ing together.

your heart can't help but feel a little glad people noticed their lack of chemistry, although you feel bad that it wasn't going too well it did put a smile on your face that a lot of people miss you and wished you were there.

eventually the show ends and you open your messages to text jake and ask how it's going. to your surprise, he texts you first.

"i realized something today y/n." the text from jake writes.

what makes them your current bias?

bts : I KNOW CRAZY. i’ve been there for hobi since 2014 esp around those times when no one was there to appreciate him truly as one of the members (DARK TIMES FOR ME, we do not talk about that) but then 2017 yoongi came in. it’s just something about yoongi himself that soothes my soul in peace. the way he thought of things in his own perspective without disrespecting anybody and the way he’s just a full walking comfort a person could be for anyone, for me particularly. his godly, incredible amount of times he’d shown off his talent in rap, producing and things he’d done. i can talk about yoongi that people wouldn't be able to understand bc he’s so ?? what a person is supposed to be. is there anything to prove why i decided to change a bias? 

txt : when soobin was introduced as the second member of txt (gurl) when i told you that soobin introduction film was… a first love at sight moment, it was true. soobin has been the love of my fucking life since then. actually no there’s so many things that i love about soobin. so many things, it’s unexplainable. i can confidently say that his voice caught me off-guard on a first listen. i know it’s dramatic as hell (ANYTHING I SAY ABOUT MY BIASES ARE SO QUESTIONABLE BUT I AM BEING SERIOUS) he has the rarest vocal on his falsetto? he’s doing it effortlessly too? if that’s not enough to actually prove my point of him being my bias then idk what is. man is majestic as hell too. (BONUS POINT!)

le sserafim : AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH god chaewon… honestly, i wasn’t a wiz*one bc produce 48 was shitty as hell. (I WATCHED EVERY MNET SURVIVAL SHOW EXCEPT FOR THIS) neither do i like the final debut lineup for iz*one. i just couldn’t pinpoint what was missing but that’s not the point of that rn. well. for me, i think the majority of people would have agreed with me about this but chaewon is better off with le sserafim. (AUDIENCE GASP) i COULD NEVER say that she caught my attention even the tiniest bit when she was in iz*one, but she did ON A FIRST SIGHT OF HER DEBUT IN LE SSERAFIM. the way that she kept on improving and i didn’t even know that she can dance so well???? (this woman is literally everyone’s type and it’s FUCKING understandable) i watched their documentary too and i love her even much more than i should’ve? i think having chaewon as my bias, it’s emotional. i am emotionally attached to her and i don’t want to seek therapy. 

enhypen : *internally crying, hysterically screaming* are we ready to hear the part of me losing almost entirely of my sanity? i was away from home for the first time for my college, and never really bothered to get updated with my kpop life. those days were.. hectic (as everyone did) but long short story i was on tiktok, at my room, at home since for so long, AFTER my hectic first sem and i just so happened to stumble upon a sunghoon edit on an ice rink, skating WITH THE TIMOTHEE TREND SONG (2020 WAS 4 YEARS AGO TOO?? GOD) AND IM LIKE ??? WHO IS THIS? I NEED TO KNOW WHO IS HE. yk i haven’t watched iland yet at that time (and probably shouldn’t so that i wouldn’t have to endure the trauma that show gave me), and only decided to watch it bc of him. I JUST LOVE LOVE skater park sunghoon a lot more than myself (that should be considered as normal btw) and i never regretted checking out on iland bc if i don’t i wouldn’t have known just how unique his talent is? you can ACTUALLY tell he has the most unique way of dancing, as if he’s dancing with every bit of his skating method and combining it to his dancing style and it’s just ?? beautiful… god park sunghoon i love him a lot.

nct dream : crying as i type this, i love renjun a lot. man is so demonically pure. i haven’t been on nct shit for SO LONG until last year (only applicable for nct dream) and i am attached as shit as they wanted me to be. i think re-stanning nct dream (i will say this forever if i’ve to prove how much they mean to me) was the peak of the third quarter of my life last year. but as for renjun, he’s just so easy to love? for me, his own persona to things as a person always never makes me so deeply attached. (like the fucking loser i am) renjun have a lot of things you can say a lot of things to, like his vocals? (ik you can confidently say that sm has the most vocals out of that shitty company) but i LOVE to listen to his voice. he’s singing with his emotions and my soul thaws in silence every time. ၄၃ the second txt’s name was even mention the whole arena erupted with cheers and lightsticks swinging, and with txt actually being on stage the volume just got louder. Joohyung felt like it was one of their own concert than a music bank, she felt so appreciative with all the support from Belgium moa. While they were on stage answering some questions from the mc of the night, the camera pan towards Joohyung. Who was just standing there listening to the mc and the crowd just went ‘awww~’ amazed at Joohyung’s visuals. For a second Joohyung was confused on why everyone awed, so she looked behind her at the big screens and saw her face. Joohyung whipped back around and instantly felt in embarrassed by the praise and hid a little behind Yeonjun making the crowd giggle at her cuteness

It was the summer song ‘Spicy’ the arena got so loud that Joohyung heard all the screams through her ear-ins. But as Joohyung was performing she didn’t realize that txt came out in the side lines to watch and hype her up. It surprised her that she giggled mid note. Before the end of song she went towards the right side where they were and they all danced together. A little while ago, Soobin joined Music Bank. And when he told me, I thought that was great because it could praise him and TXT But what I didn't imagine was how insecure I would feel with his new job.

He presents Music Bank with Arin from OH MY GIRL and she is just... beautiful, talented, charismatic and a thousand other qualities that I could never imagine and have. She and Soobin seemed like they were very friendly, very much the same and it made me feel insecure and a little angry. Soobin is very busy so we have almost no time together and it makes me feel sad. Okay but... what does this have to do with his work as an MC? He records every Friday and whenever he can, we spend the afternoon together and he sleeps at home, but now, we don't have that much time together because he leaves Saturday afternoon.

Soobin introduced her to me, I was nice and faked a smile and I think I convinced them both that it was real.
