Does anyone know what the timeline of the TWST main story is??? iirc Heartslabyul takes place in September before Ace’s birthday. Actually I think Prologue & Heartslabyul spans at least a week at max 😭😭

Savanaclaw is probably Late October… purely bcs I don’t think they’d do a school festival so early into the year

Octavinelle is like November-> Early December to me bcs it’s the midterm exam period, & idt they’d do exams right after a festival, but who knows…

Scarabia’s over winter break so December ->January

Pomefiore is probably??? somewhere around January as well?? Because I remember it was still snowing from the cutscene that Prefect has with Kalim abt his disappointment on not being a main singer. I’m betting on Late January at earliest. And Ignihyde takes place literally the night after Pomefiore 😭😭😭 This is also just guesswork based on how far up north the Sage’s Isle is, I assume the winters last longer there.

As for Diasomnia I got no clue at all 💔💔 all ik is that it should be getting warmer bcs of the reactions the characters have towards Malleus causing snow & winds to pick up… I used to think it was March but it probably isn’t 😭

These were taken in the "Ihmeellinen pieni maailma" miniature fair in Espoo, Finland in 2024. The art workshop diorama was created by Susanna, the Ken and Kaarna doll story creator.

The dolls Ken (orange dress), Kaarna (short blue-dyed hair, Mackie sculpt, orange shirt that says "Fuck The Universe", and Mari (the blonde who models for the live drawing) are characters from the Ken and Kaarna doll story.

There were a bunch of dolls from many different people visiting the diorama, it was very fun.

My dolls pictured here visiting the diorama: the guitar-playing Kit (Barbie Looks) with the skull top, the cyrvy Daya fashionista hybrid with the paint-splattered white coat, Becky (the wheelchair user), Trichelle MTM hybrid with the green and black crop top.

Does anyone remember that one cosplay group based in Sweden (I think?) from ye olde faradays of Hetalia fandom that made a series called the Nordics on YouTube that depicted like the history of the Nordics where every character spoke their respective languages even when in conversation with each other

It was the shit and I used to watch it religiously when I was in middle and high school. It was like unusually high production too like they had different environments like snowy forests and old castles that I think were actually local tourist spots and museums they filmed in, also real horses too it was so good

They also cosplayed Black Butler but when I looked for the series again a few years back all the videos were gone and I think they might’ve been deleted :( I was so bummed out those were my favorite cosplay videos ever in any fandom

this is the first time i can remember that eurovision has left me with such a bad taste in my mouth that i am genuinely considering not watching or participating at all next year.

i hate how the esc jury has this much power. i hate how a such a small number of people rarely ever represent the opinions of their respective countries. i hate their politically charged voting decisions. i hate how they always give the most points to the safest – and not necessarily best – performances. i hate how there is almost always a painfully obvious difference between the jury's and audience's taste. i hate that the jury-given points can directly prevent the audience favourite from winning, even if they got the most votes by an absolutely huge margin. and i hate that the underdogs in this competition are always at a disadvantage for that exact reason.

käärijä received the second highest televote score in eurovision's history, and it still wasn't enough. he was the people's choice. and if eurovision depended only on the people's choice, he would have been number one.

The more finnish literature I read the more convinced I am that all of it could fit into two cathegories:

Absolute trauma (likely linked to sex one way or another) that will grab your eyeballs and will not let go until you’ve read it (stuff by Johanna Sinisalo, Katja Kettu, Sofi Oksanen, Mika Waltari, Laulu tulipunaisesta kukasta) or silly blorbos going on feel-good adventures (stuff by Arto Paasilinna, Tatu & Patu, Moomins, Seitsemän veljestä (at least a third of the way in)) and then there’s stuff smack in the middle (Kalevala).

Actually on the topic of Spice Girls 🧐 I must know, maybe there isn't answer but if there is you'd know since you've been watching all this content etc.

As we know with girl groups when they lose a member their first performance without them is always tough. Hyomin had to read Hwayoung's lines off a cue card for their first performance, SNSD were struggling to keep it together sometimes not even covering Sica's lines 😔 it was emotional. But then lesserafim performed like it was nothing for their first ot5 performance so tell me do you know how the first ot4 Spice Girls performance went??

First of all thank you for this ask, as a new Spice Girls scholar I am honoured to share what I've learned. Now buckle up :

The girls had to do an emission for the national lottery but Geri was a no show that day (her driver went to her house but nothing). The girls were blindsided and had to carry on without knowing where the hell she was (mind you she was "vlogging" her departure in the meantime smh). They came up with a "she is sick"-excuse which gave us this iconic moment by Mel C

The show must go on and the girls performed Viva Forever that they were promoting at the time. You know the alleged gay ass song, mainly written by Geri about some vacation she had with her "special friend" *Wendy Williams' voice* Mel B. Let me add for science that the lottery was literally two days (27th) before Mel B's birthday (29th) so it's a very dramatic exit if you ask me. Emma also said that they never told each other goodbye (since their group life routine was that they would go home to sleep and get back together in the morning anyway) but Geri did say goodbye before leaving for the last time.

Geri famously left in the middle of the tour (before the American leg + two pregnant coworkers) and the next two shows were in Norway but if I understood correctly the footage of the concert is not on the internet. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it's just not here. Streets are saying that there was some crying during the show, understandably so. The last concert with Geri in Helsinki isn't available either and fans often joke that they are waiting for it to surface somewhere, somehow, someday.

Geri officially left on the 31st of May via her lawyer. Therefore the girls (and obviously the whole crew) had to rework the rest of the shows as a four piece in two weeks. Hyomin had Hwayoung lines and Victoria finally got parts in Wannabe lol

what is the chillest place in Finland where I could spend a really quiet week at the end of summer (late september) that is accessible through public transportation from Helsinki? I don’t have a driver’s license and can’t rent a car to drive anywhere, but I would like as close to the kesämökki experience somewhere I can easily reach by train or bus
