Clowngender elf with poor coping skills.#I hope the anime-only watchers know that this is a character to keep an eye on.#Love (in it's many forms) and desire (in it's many forms) is the main course of Dungeon Meshi and THIS silly jester?#My goodness. What a perfect encapsulation of how one can hurt other's so deeply in the name of love.#The actions we take to 'protect' other's is often the route to doing the most harm.#Love is letting go. Most of my art actually.#and then I took a break and redid the colors with sort of a red-yellow-blue forced focus which helped a lot #and also I decided that if you Believe in your silliness then it can be Meaningful Intertextuality.#the journey of creamthing. the journey of montjoy. creamthing as a pelican in its piety.#spent a Lot of time on heraldry wikipedia and then ancient archival scans of heraldry encyclopedias to try and get the description right #heraldic language is Hard and I still definitely didn't get it right but I Tried. and I like how it turned out :)

i once got a comment from someone that was smth like "you're really good at writing mental breakdowns. a little too good, because i'm worried about you" and yeah. i mean. they really got me there

#i can tell sometimes when someone hasn't actually had a panic attack or an anxiety attack or whatever and they write it weird #or have you ever like. had someone fake a panic attack in front of you #but they obviously don't know what a panic attack looks like #so they're just breathing and screaming #maybe they add in a little bit of hiccups for some reason #yeah #this is a silly haha post btw #I was simply thinking about funny comments that I've gotten before and that one came to mind #erinwantstowrite
