My lesboy experience is feeling like I dont belong in the lesbian community.

I see lesbian safe spaces who claim to support multigender/genderfluid lesbians but then I see ''men DNI'' in their bio. I see how they use the ''non-men loving non-men'' definition and how they seem to only support multigender/genderfluid lesbians who never identify as men,completly ignoring those who does.

When I introduce myself as a genderfluid lesbian,they immediately support me because,in their head,I am not a man. But as soon as I bring up how I identify as a men or with male-alligned genders sometimes,they seem to completly forget the woman and enby parts of my identify. They say how I do not belong in the community and how I am not allowed to use the lesbian label. They tell me to just use the straight label or to be unlabelled.

I am not straight nor unlabelled. I am a lesbian. My attraction to women is queer,not straight. I want to be able to use the label that fits me the best and which I am the most confortable identifying as without people judging me,unvalidating me and forcing me to choose between the male part of my identity or to identify as something else for their comfort.

Harry Potter: I’m gonna be honest I project on this man far too unhealthily to NOT be biased (I’ve been going by the name Harry in IRLfor 3 and a half years now I think? As a metamorphmagus, she transforms her body, her gender doesn’t seem to change w it in the books. While I like the headcanons of them being genderfluid I wish more people explored that specific idea.

Severus Snape: queer? Queer. In every sense of the word. I think most people view him as bi 💕🟣💙 which I agree with (Lily and Mulciber, also absolutely headcanon him having a crush on both Lucius AND Narcissa) but also I think he’s a little bit gender funky- I mean just look at him- no one who stands like that isn’t just cis /ref. not sure if i’m oriented aroace or just aroace. i’ve been comfortable with the lesbian label for a while and i’m coming to terms with being on the aro and ace spectrums but sometimes i wish i was unlabelled bc it seems like such a hassle idk. i know i feel different around women/non-men and i’m attracted to them. i’ve tried to be in romantic (online) relationships but it felt off even though it both ended amicably. it was weird bc i love fantasising about romance but the reality didn’t live up to it.

i’ve had comphet crushes but i’ve not had many crushes on women bc i can’t easily develop them like everyone else and when i do, it feels different to a crush that everyone describe - more like a warmth than butterflies. even when i was younger, i never was concerned about marriage or romance in a conventional way. i just wanted to spend time with a girl but in a different way than a romantic relationship but also not in a friend way? if that even makes sense.

honestly, i would prefer to be in a comfortable domestic qpr with a woman/non-man instead preferably with someone on the aro/ace spectrum but does that still make me an aroace lesbian? i feel like im not lesbian enough so i’m wary about calling myself a lesbian or even an aroace lesbian.

Vylad - Gay - Genderqueer They/He - They like men and are in a will they won't they but definitely will with Zenix. Since they are part plant alien, a species that has a rather loosey gossey system of gender anyway, Vylad has decided that they are just Vylad.

Zenix - Unlabeled - Cisgender He/Him - He is just a dude who likes people and doesn't think much about it. Sometimes it is just that simple.

Zane - Pansexual - Ambiguous He/Him/It - He has replaced the majority of his body parts and takes pride in the fact that he is less a person and more of a weapon, a construct, a tool. He is an It. Also in an incredibly toxic relationship with Janus and Lillian.

Lillian - Queer - Nonbinary They/Them - They are a weapon android who used to be in charge of taking care of Zane but is now his prime weapon and android. His left hand, as they are the shadier but no less useful than his right. They love Zane but the relationship is as toxic and the blood coursing through their veins.

Janus - Bisexual - Cisgender He/Him - Janus is here to FUCK! He is a human cyborg who chose to look like a silver werewolf. He is having the time of his life being the right hand and sugar baby of Zane. Zanes unofficial favorite because he is spontaneous and wild, something Zane refuses to be.

Kenmur - Straight - Transman He/Him - He is an arachnid man and after finding out that he was going to be the smallest female species of spider he got waaay too excited. That is how he found out he wanted to be a man.

Emmalyn - Straight - Transwoman She/Her - She is a germaphobe that is afraid of the outdoors but will eventually be in a loving T4T relationship with Kenmur.

Like can we also talk about how weirdly [gender confining] some of these people are to Raine when putting them in a relationship with a [any gender that is not nonbinary/gnc]…

When they're with Eda you see people call them the man in the relationship. "The one that wears the pants" Sometimes drawn with facial hair or appearing taller, or straight up referring to them as a transman instead of someone who is transmasc non-binary, more "masculine"

With they're with Darius you see people point out they're petite, they're soft-spoken and the definitive "homemaker" the one that would "take care of the kids", they're drawn rounder and appear softer more, "feminine"

As you can see, both of these common generalizations and/or phrases are wildly wrong to refer to as a nonbinary character as.

However, just because a non-binary character presents [x] trait does not make them more [gender] - they're simply non-binary. They do not conform.

They are portrayed as a non-binary character, specifically transmasc as their VA Avi Roque protrays them.

There is no wrong/right way to be nonbinary and/or gender non-conforming

Being in a relationship with a woman or man as a non-binary person, you are not meant to adopt a "default role" If your partner is a woman you are not the man - you're non-binary. If your partner is a man you are not a woman - you're non-binary.

If you have facial hair that does not make you a man, you're still non-binary. If you wear a dress that does not make you a woman, you're still non-binary

Insisting that traits as trivial as this are exclusive to a single gender is wrong.

You can have facial hair and be a woman. You can wear a dress and be a man. Gender is fluid for everyone. Unique for all people.

Raine is not "the man" in their relationship with Eda.

Raine is not "the woman" in their relationship with Darius.

Raine is non-binary.

Their way to express themself and their gender identity is their choice. They don't need to "take control as a man" or "step back as a woman" because they're neither. If you believe you must act a certain way to be a gender, or believe that certain traits are only for a certain gender - please reevaluate what gender means to you.

Raine is a transmasc non-binary character, them doing something that's "traditionally feminine" does not make them a woman.

Raine is a transmasc non-binary character, them doing something that's "traditionally mascunline" does not make them a trans man.

There is no wrong way to express that you are non-binary, and there is no wrong way to love somebody that isn't non-binary.

Raine is a non-binary person that strictly goes by they/them.

None of these traits have any assigned gender to them, anybody can be these things.

In same-sex couples, there is no partner that is required to be more "feminine" or "masculine" to "balance out the relationship."

Raine is simply themself. A transmasc non-binary person, who goes unlabeled. Any interpretation of them as a non-binary person is not wrong, it is only wrong if you believe they are actually a man/woman - or if you believe they must act a certain way to "meet the qualifications of being non-binary." With no canonical sexuality confirmed, that is left up to headcanons

And a very very, healthy reminder to all Owl House fans. If somebody has a different headcanon that is harmless, they're not evil. If you headcanon a character as trans, and another does not - they're not transphobic. If you headcanon a character as a lesbian and somebody doesn't, that does not make them lesbophobic.

Another healthy reminder, you don't need to prove your headcanons as canon or find a reason to justify hating a harmless one. You can have those opinions. You can hate Willuz and you can hate Huntlow. What you can't do is hate people for their harmless headcanons. It is not a competition to see which ship or headcanon is most canon. You should have fun, they're meant to be fun. If somebody thinks differently than you, it does not make them "weird" or "wrong".

If you headcanon Raine would hate wearing dresses and/or having facial hair - that's okay.

If you headcanon Raine would love wearing dresses and/or having facial hair - that's okay too.

Diona has type 1 diabetes. Margaret helps her get insulin and dietary supplements.

She has tourettes. Her most common tics are meows, hisses, mouth pops, whistles, and jumping.

Diona is very sensitive to sound. Diluc commissioned Albedo to make soundproof earplugs made specifically for her ears.

Diona goes "fishing" with Klee. She turns all of the fish Klee blasts into her specialty dish, and the two use them for picnics.

She loves birdwatching. She sometimes has the urge to catch them, but she stops herself. This is how she teaches herself self control.

Speaking of which, they spend a lot of time at the winery to avoid going home to their parents. Diluc gave them their own room that they can decorate however they want.

Xe taught Diona how to use her bow. Xe is mostly self-taught, but Kaeya helped xem learn the basics.

Diluc lets star borrow his falcon so that star can take it and Oz on playdates. Star loves watching them fly together, but it reminds star of stars lack of friends. Diona offers to come with star, though, so star feels less alone.

Immernachtreich Fischl looks significantly different from the real Fischl. Most noticeably, their more confident expression and lack of eyebags. She also has a smile, while the real Fischl has RBF.

Everytime Diluc sees Kaeya and Eula drinking together, he feels a pang of sadness. When this happens, he gets Charles to cover his shift so he can take a break. He doesn't want his patrons to see him sad because of his brother finding a new family.

Diluc has severe burns on his hands from the delusion.

He wears a necklace under his suit. It has a starconch that Kaeya gave him as a kid. He keeps it there in hopes that it'll somehow help him get his brother back.

He has a lot of extra rooms in the Dawn Winery. One was given to Venti, another to Fischl, and another to Diona whenever she wants to stay there...but Kaeya's room is never occupied. It's exactly the same as it was when he left six years ago. Diluc's kept it the same, and occasionally just sits in there when he misses his brother.

Diluc loves animals, even though the only pet he has is his falcon. He has a special soft spot for cats, but he never lets them near the winery in order to keep Venti safe.

She has a pet mouse that she keeps in the lab. She was gonna use it for an experiment, but decided against it. The mouse has been in the lab for over a year now and is named Fritz.

Albedo wears gold makeup to highlight the mark on his neck. He's extremely proud of it, as it reminds him of his imperfections. He also has golden streaks in his hair and Khaenri'ahn pupils.

He sends letters to Cyno and Tighnari. He tells Tighnari about his experiments and exchanges jokes and TCG strategies with Cyno.

Okay first of all I replaced her eyes with Immernachtreich Fischl's since I don't like how her eyes are a different art style than everyone else's.

She's SUPER pale. This is due to her having anemia. She often takes iron supplements to help with this, but she's still super pale. It's also because she's a night owl and almost never gets sun. This has led to many rumors about her being a vampire, but she doesn't mind. She likes being feared.

Vamp is friends with Diluc and often gives him updates on how Kaeya's doing. Vamp is also one of the few people who knows that he's the Darknight Hero, and the two work together a lot.

They get antidepressants from Sucrose for free.

The surname I gave her, Nacht, means night watchman.

Astrologist Mona Megistus

She has a pet cat named Effie. Effie is a Birman and often stays in Mona's library, sleeping on the bookshelves. Effie hates Oz and tries to eat him whenever Fischl visits.

Star graduated from the Akademiya in the Rtawahist darshan, but star also took a lot of Vahumana classes and is a licensed therapist. Star reads people's constellations and learns their pasts, then star helps them cope with any issues they have. Star also prescribes medicine if needed, sending a prescription to Sucrose and Albedo.

Annie

Pronouns: she/they

Orientation & gender identity: Sapphic nonbinary

- I feel like Annie identifies with being a woman but not strictly a woman. Sometimes their gender feels less binary or sometimes they just feel like they don't have one. It fluctuates for her. As for her sexuality, she just loves women. The reason I don't see her as a lesbian though is because I feel like she can be attracted to men, but it's more of a shallow, purely physical, attraction.

Sandra

Pronouns: she/her

Orientation & gender identity: Bisexual, cis woman

Not much to say about this one, it's just obvious and that's okay lmaoo

Jonathon

Pronouns: he/him

Orientation & gender identity: unlabeled, cis man

Everyone assumes Jonathan is the only cishet in Cornley, and he understands why. He's straight passing and most of his relationships and sexual endeavors have been with women, but he's not not attracted to other genders. He's just kind of into anybody who's into him and prefers not to tie himself to a specific label. Since it wasn't something he explicitly ever made known, the rest of Cornley found out about it when they went to a party together and him and another man were making out in the kitchen and half of the group walked in on it.

Chris struggled a lot with his sexuality in his youth but when he went to uni, he slowly started to become okay with his bi-ness and let himself explore. Nowadays he's very casual and comfortable about his orientation.

Robert

Orientation & gender identity: a fucking gay mess, cis man

Robert is mlm, he's felt attraction for men for as long as he can remember. He knows this, but it's a big point of discomfort for him due to experiences in his childhood. He's fine with anybody else being queer but when it comes to himself, he's got major internalized homophobia. It does not help that the long-term subject of his attraction is one Chris Bean. He hates the complicated way he feels about Chris. He equally wants to punch Chris in the face as much as he wants to kiss him within an inch of his life. There is a part of him that is genuinely attracted to women, but only in specific circumstances. One of the main reasons Denise left him is because she figured this out, he never really loved her like that. He loved her in other ways though, but the reason that her leaving him affects him so much, is because she was a protective blanket and a comfortable lie. With her out of the picture, the parts of him he was desperately trying to repress are more persistent.

Max

Orientation & gender identity: pansexual, cis(ish) man

Max just loves people, but mostly his sexuality is; Sandra. He's just so madly in love with her. Though, I do think they would have a more open relationship, in terms of physically anyways. Max and Sandra are each other's #1's but they are alright with the other kissing, having hook ups, or other things, with other people; they also will include others in their ~spicy times~
