A hypothetical god tier for the Seekers of Truth from Dragon Age: the Knight of Light.
A Knight of Light is among those who use knowing and perceiving. They are motivated by themselves to utilize awareness. (x) The Knight of Light puts on a front to hide an insecurity and enjoys knowing things others don't. (x) They are the Defender Scholar, defined by guarded awareness. (x) Their opposite is the Page of Void. Their inverse is the Rogue of Void. They share their personality with the Seer of Doom. The Knight of Light would quest on a planet similar to the Land of Haze and Light, reigned over by Hemera (Goddess of Daylight) or Apollo (God of the Performing Arts). They would rise to ascension on the wings of moths. (x)(x)(x)

would lovelovelove to hear ur take on the rage aspect in general.
You've actually asked me about my favorite aspect and I will GLADLY take this opportunity to ramble about it (and, I suppose, touch a bit on its inverse as well). I actually wish I was this aspect instead sometimes; I present as very punk in my offline life and every Ragebound I've met has always been the most delightful company I've ever kept. (I suppose that might also be a very Heartbound thing to wish for, to be of another aspect...)
Of the twelve aspects, I will argue that Rage and Hope are the most commonly and grossly misunderstood. When they are flattened into one dimensional concepts, they are flattened into words that are not even in the realm of correct. Because of what we see in canon, Rage and Hope tend to get flattened into the "angry aspect" and the "positive aspect". These are incorrect understandings. Hope is about ideology and the systems built by them (such as government, or organized religion). Rage is about activism and digging out the truth. It is a very active aspect.
From The Extended Zodiac, I pulled these keywords from the Rage Aspect description. These would be the "canon" traits; they are what I adhere to when analyzing, but it should also be understood that this concept encompasses much more to do with than these keywords. Its "vibe", if you will, is much more than what is written.
TEZ Rage Keywords: Chaos, contempt, truth-seekers, doubters, stubborn, volatile, unpredictable, original, revolutionary, fearless, (cruel, uncompromising, vicious)
The words I chose to represent Rage in my analyses of the classpects are "Skepticism, Truth-seeking, Rebellion, Stubbornness". Like the other aspects, Rage is not an inherently good or bad aspect; it is neutral in its purest form.
Rage is what brings change. It is rebellion against unfair government systems, it is breaking free of internal biases, it is going out and finding the truth outside of the propaganda you have been fed. Rage aligns with punk very well, and I would be willing to argue that many of those in the punk subculture are Ragebound or know several Ragebound, and this is because to be punk is to rebel against wider societal views. You'll find many queer people in the punk subculture, for example, even if they are not Ragebound, because of how wider society views queer people.
Not all punks are Ragebound, and not all Rage is punk (though, much of it is). Rage is also activism. It is organized rallies and protests. It is essays that carefully deconstruct internal biases and point out what is and isn't propaganda. It is not believing what you are told about something because you'd rather get first hand experience or research it yourself than hear it from the mouth of anyone else.
I cannot speak of Gamzee and Kurloz as they are presented in canon, because... their characters were either written very messily or just not written at all. They are both destroyer classes, which tends to skew the understanding of an aspect as well. However, I would think that Gamzee and Kurloz's arcs, if written out with intentions of having them be properly developed as characters, would include becoming aware that their beliefs were built on faulty premises, turning against their cult beliefs, and tearing it down; using Rage to destroy what had (passively or actively) destroyed them.
(I would like to joke that Gamzee and Kurloz had to be written poorly. If they were ever written as a fully realized Bard of Rage or Prince of Rage, Homestuck would have been over the moment they accepted their true aspect and began using it to destroy the Condesce and Lord English. Those two classpects are particularly powerful.)

jadekat & why i love it
jadekats this really interesting homestuck pairing to me! i feel like its because both jade & karkat are cool characters on their own, but their great strengths come with great flaws, and their dynamic balances out these flaws so well. it's a strangely underrated pairing too, considering jade is probably the character karkat most obviously flushes for in the comic, next to terezi. ill be explaining why i think this bond is so overlooked.
jade has a variety of strengths. as a witch of space, it makes sense. space is on a more grand level of intuition and clear knowledge on a vast amount of things, leading to space players sometimes not being able to explain the way things are in detail. this vastness also comes with a "wait-and-see" approach, as space is always growing organically, like an organism/plant. as a witch, jade followed through completing time loops with eagerness and a loss of wanting to know exactly why these loops must be fulfilled, simply believing things like fate knew what they were doing, and everything would come into order. shes also very well-versed in science, rifles, childhood cartoons, plants... she does everything she possibly can with the space around her, manipulating it (therefore "manipulating space") to her own will!
on a more characteristic standpoint, jade is socially isolated. shes nice to everyone she comes across (until theyre mean) but she has isolation problems. living on an island alone has made her used to having things done in her own methodical and scientific way, simply because thats the way she believes in. shes at a loss when it comes to chaotic, unorderly things like karkat's memos with his future/past selves! she just doesnt know how to handle it because she's only known how to be in tune with her own thoughts & feelings.
karkat is well-versed in the way relationships are supposed to go. he's watched an abundance of rom-coms and dealed with all his friends as a leader. it makes sense why he's so good at knowing how others feel and how to care for them. the problem is that he doesn't know how to outwardly express his own feelings or care at all. he doesn't know how to approach terezi without fighting with her, but still constantly pesters these people he likes with his angry, nonsensical ways.
when jade and karkat interact in the comic, it's confusing at first. karkat is constantly pestering jade at random intervals of time, and this ruins her ordered way of working around stuff. she develops these "conversation passwords", an intuitive way of staying on the same time track with the trolls. karkat is obviously angered by jade's action, but after realizing jade won't budge about it he goes along with it. in openbound, it's even revealed he used one of these conversation keys as a password for his own memories in a dream bubble!
in the memos with karkat's multiple selves, jade learns not everything can always be so orderly and clear, and this is very hard for her to stomach. she wants to quit dealing with it, but karkat's stubborness makes her deal with these messy, personal feelings.
in summary, jadekat's this great, balanced dynamic. jade teaches karkat to be more open and true to himself and his own feelings, while also getting him out of trouble with ridiculous things like future selves and all-over-the-time-loop conversations with clear solutions to get him back into the big picture. karkat teaches jade to consider the smaller details and how the more orderly paths can't constantly be taken to solve something.
this is all i have right now, i hope it makes sense!! i tried not to connect this to a lot of classpecting cuz i feel like jadekat's mainly about focusing on the very feelings of the characters (whether clear or messy) instead of just connecting them to a grander thing. lmk if u have any thoughts on jadekat or just jade/karkat in general ^_^!!

hello and welcome to guidingThulite's blog for reblogs!
my name is alma (i also go by amaya!) and i'm 18+. not the blog, even though tumblr flagged it as mature?????? i rarely post nsfw and if i do it's mostly jokes, but whatevs. someday i'll go rogue and post female presenting nipples so they flag me for a reason
oh also here's my strawpage!!! send me something fun!
about my frequent tags and some more info below!
you want to commission me? here!
you just want to give me money? very much appreciated! here, too!
generally, for miscellaneous memes and stuff that i don't post about as often so i feel there's no need for a tag, i use #misc!
if i like a post a lot, i'll tag it as #fav!
if i go off in the tags, i usually add #alma rambles. it's also the tag i use for asks! though sometimes i forget and i use #alma answers instead. and sometimes i forget to use #alma rambles altogether
though me rambling on the tags is the norm but still
i also have a tag for those cheesy and often badly photoshopped valentine cards. just because.
my fandom tags!
right now i'm hyperfixating on project sekai, so that's what you'll see the most of in the blog. the tag is #proseka. i mostly post about tsukasa, but kanade and minori are my other two favs!!! mmj is my fav group! i am also a big defender of rarepairs so you'll see like. a lot lmao.
i wrote an akks fanfic that i treat like my child. updates VERY sporadically but i talk about it often. because it's my child
it's probably because i've been a vocaloid fan ever since the dawn of time (2011). the tag is #vocaloid! i'd talk about my fav producers but it's honestly a p big list hehe
i also really like kagerou project. the tag is #kagepro! i'm a big harutaka enthusiast. yuukei yesterday makes me cry. also a shintaka truther. poly yuukei quartet in general.
if there's something you should know about me is that i have a very-not-healthy-very-not-normal obsession with anything created by game dev #parun. i played re:kinder when i was like 13 and it genuinely changed me as a person. the tag's not organized like at all but someday it will. maybe. click for me rambling about how much me playing re:kinder changed the timeline or whatever. i've also played heisei pistol show and gone through gote to handa and if! gote to handa made me experience shrimp emotions. BIG DISCLAIMER OR WARNING OR SOMETHING. EITHER WAY, PLEASE READ: this has happened to me before, so if you want to play re:kinder because i don't stop talking about it or anything like that, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look up the trigger warnings or ask me, i don't mind providing them. it's a VERY HEAVY game and i don't recommend you play it if you aren't feeling well mentally. let's ignore that's what i did when i was 13 but hey! i was 13!
i'm a big nintendo as in the franchises fan, so i post a lot about it! i usually use the tag #nintendo for smash bros-related content and some misc nintendo franchises that i reblog less often
i have been posting a lot about super mario lately.the tag is #mario. mostly misc stuff but sometimes i'll get into A Mood and it'll be either super paper mario or the mario & luigi rpgs (esp superstarsaga, peasley my beloved)
the mother trilogy is my most beloved and mother 3 is my favorite game ever so yeah. the tag is #earthbound!
there's also kirby! who doesn't love kirby? i love that li'l guy. the tag is #kirby. i pretend i understand the lore but every day i grow more confused.
now, as for regrettable decissions: the pokemon tag is just #pokemon even though i post about mainline, mystery dungeon and other spin offs often. everything is mixed. oh god. explorers is my beloved and, as you can see, hau is my son. sinnoh has my heart.
speaking of confusing storylines! i am, regrettably, a homestuck fan. the #homestuck tag could be completely replaced with a johnkat tag though. it's either johnkat or classpecting with next to no inbetween. i complain about canon a lot too lol
i'm a big ace attorney fan, i've played all the games! though i left the crossover midway and never played again. someday, i guess. the tag is #ace attorney! i also have a separate tag for dai gyakuten saiban, or the great ace attorney, #dgs spoilers are tagged for the latter two as "dgs spoilers" and "dgs2 spoilers"
i am also a jojo's bizarre adventure fan! i've seen parts 1-6 and i mostly post about narancia. i love that funky little dude. the tag is #jjba!
speaking about mafia-related animes, i also enjoy bungou stray dogs! when i say i enjoy bsd i mean i post ranpo and only ranpo. ok that's not true. i post ranpoe and ada found family too :> the tag is #bsd!
now, for something completely different, osomatsu-san! i can't say i have something i post more than anything but i really, really like beni and i'm always talking about how they're my brother and i frfr. i don't post blm-tsu. the tag is #ososan!
i post about the disastrous life of saiki k. the tag is #tdlosk and i am very normal about akechi. i promise.
speaking of akechis! #persona is also a thing. 4 is my favorite but anything with hamuko on it is an instant reblog from me. i lied though. my fav persona game is q2. but only 3 people including me played it in the west. it's okay. that means i'm hikari's number 1 fan!
i used to be the biggest inazuma eleven nut back in 2018 and sometimes i miss it so i reblog spree until i'm normal again. the tag is #inaele! the fandom was really small so i just reblogged whatever i liked, but i have a really soft spot for hamano, hayami and kurama, aka inago's second year trio!
i also like yokai watch a lot! the tag is #yokai watch. i would die for hailey and USApyon. my fav game is 3! you might see this red-haired catboy fucker around too. he's my son. regrettably.
things i don't really post about that often but they have a tag so might as well put it here:
#kingdom hearts
#twewy
#sonic
#warioware
#danganronpa
#parappa the rapper
#sam and max (slowly BUT SURELY getting into it)
#disney (doubles as an epic mickey tag ig)

#steven universe
#captain underpants

idk if reqs are open so sorry if they aren't lol. if possible, I was wondering if you could classpect analyze Cell from DBZ (or just major DBZ characters in general lol) I would forever be in your debt. my brain decided to get attached to a shitty bug man sorry
Sorry Im not getting to all these in a timely manner - but yes. Requests are basically always open at any time. Never be afriad to send things in, even if they dont get awnsered for awhile; trust me, i will get to them.
I just do things leisurely on this blog and dont get to everything very fast. Since its just a fun blog to do these sorts of things on. Not to mention, i get requests of things Ive not watched or seen sometimes, so I'd need the time to dive into whatevers requested.
That being said, I know not much about Dragon Ball in general, actually. But Cell popping up in the series was an arc I watched a few eps of because I liked how creepy he was as a villian. Cell gives me the energy of a bitter Heart player. Hes made from the aspects of several others, and while he knows alot about them, and he knows his own weaknesses and himself a lot, he seems to be called narcissistic often in things describing him; but really that sort of set of traits boils down to somebody who believes they have no control, so they try to push down others scheme for characters like these. Somebody who will try to gain the control they feel they lack by force. Not only this, but if Im remembering correctly, Cell sucks the life force and organs of living beings to get stronger and to change forms to look more imposing (?) in a way, hes soul sucking others. So Cell is possibly a Thief of Heart, gone down an extremely unhealthy route.
Heart aspect is about the Self, knowing the inner workings of a persons sense of self and their egos. And its also about the soul, and the possiblity of growth or stagnation as a person. Cell having been artificially created (?) brings up a lot of possible issues he has internally with his sense of being a fully formed being. Which if we are getting pyscho analytical about a dbz character here for a minute, cause be the cause of why he feels like he HAS to do things he does and why he behaves the way he does. He feels he has no true inner self thats beyond whats there in front and center. which means hes weak, in his own mind. he cant be seen as weak.
Basically, consider how Vriska acts; "Im totally the best! nobody can beat me!" but in reality she feels like she lacks spotlight, lacks attention, she craves it, is insecure about it and thats unacceptable so she goes to extremes to become "the main character" of the light aspects main theme, that being the narrative.
But coat it with a splash of Heart player themes of the physical or inner sense of self.

Hi!! Your classpecting stuff looks really cool, mind doing me? Emoji: 🦎🦎🦎
What are your interests/hobbies?
I have a lot of interests, i love to draw and write and im learning to play the ukelele! I love science and always have loved science and i want to be a scientist one day, either an astrophysicist or maybe something to do with chemistry? I also like things like rocks and rodents and food. I like to cook and organize things, though i dont enjoy baking very much. Finally i also love playing video games and photoshopping stupid stuff. I also dont like watching tv or movies very much.
How do you see yourself?
I think im pretty charismatic and reasonably smart, though im not sure if ill ever be able to meet my own standards for being a great person, but i do try my hardest to be a really kind person and understand people. Im also really creative and i think im really good at designing characters and mapping out stories. My more negative traits are that im really obsessive over my interests and can annoy the shit outta people with how much i talk about them. Also when i get excited i tend to lose control a little bit especially over my voice and get kinda loud lmao (life of the autistic kid i sppose lol)
How do you think others see you?
I think my friends think im a lot smarter and cooler than i actually am. I also think they probably think im a lot happier and less scared of a person than i actually am. I really dont like people worrying about me so i always make sure to project a happy face even if im stressed or sad, and im not a sad person but sometimes i get sad and it can be hard because i can only face it alone.
How do you interact with your friends?
I act really enthusiastic around my friends and i always try to enjoy the things they enjoy while i also try and show them the things i like. If i notice my friends getting annoyed by me though i tend to detach myself from the group for a while.
What’s important to you? (Specific people, ideas, morals, objects, ect.)
Being a good person is really important to me. Im a really sentimental person and i place a lot of emotional value into most things i own. I also really care about my friends and my pet cats
Describe the ideal you, what kind of person do you strive to be?
I strive to be above all really kind to people and helpful, i also want to be smart and talented. My dream is to be able to tell a really cool story that people are able to enjoy!!
thanks :]
Hello! Thank you for the compliment ♡
I'd say your Aspect is either Light, Space, or Mind
For Classes I came up with Knight, Rogue, and Sylph
Overall I think Knight of Light is the most likely to be your title! But Rogue of Mind is a close second
Hope this helps!! Let me know if you have any follow-up questions :)

What's your process for having aspects/classpects affect characters' TTS designs? I know you've said that they do affect them, but iirc you've only posted how they do so for a few aspects, most recently Void.
I will say before going into details that a lot of this was built ad-hoc as I went along, so only take these as like. A rough guideline of how the process works, and that some older characters' designs might not align with what I present here in all respects.
For Time the designs generally take after timepieces or different means of telling time, but sometimes I generalize it into just machinery in general. For Skylla her rattlesnake tail is modeled after the bells of an alarm clock (with a wristwatch belt for good measure) and for Mallek it's his clockwork infection manifesting as physical keyboard keys. Hourglasses, water clocks, and sundials are all also valid as inspiration.
For Space the designs include something visually tied to space, like the heavenly bodies or just our view of them - a lot of these wind up being starskins like Kanaya and Remele, but Tagora was an intentional deviation from this using the planet Jupiter as an inspiration (where part of the gag is that all his mutant clones are Jupiter's moons). Comets, suns, moons, and planetary rings would all also be valid sources of inspiration.
For Breath it's a bit of a mixed bag but generally, they're designed in such a way that "wind can pass through them easily". This is why Tavros is so full of holes, it's largely why Polypa has those thin pipes poking through her shoulders, and why Bronya...well she's wearing that mask for a reason. I definitely consider certain musical instruments like a flute or a tuba or something to be in this category of inspiration too.
For Light it's pretty simple - the designs incorporate something that generates light. Rose is a light bulb, Zebede is a firefly with some Christmas-light-styled bulbs thrown in, Konyyl is almost entirely candle wax, etc. If you can light it up and it brightens up a room it's good enough to work with.
Life players would be mostly modeled after plants or at least living organisms, acting as a host of life and all that. See the end of this post for why the Peixes don't fit this description, but Jane and Lanque show this off better - with Jane she has the human version of seasickness giving her barnacles and Lanque is literally mostly plant at this point. I definitely want to do more plant-based designs if I get the chance, it's just a shame there's only been so many Lifebound characters to design for up to this point.
Characters tied to Void embody Void's sense of nothingness and things not being there by having facial features or body parts removed. Equius takes this to an extreme with literally only an eye for a face and no extremities; Tegiri's not just lacking a face but his body has multiple holes for his swords to be stuck through; and Folykl's deprived of anything besides their head. On your own, try seeing how much you can take off your Voidbound before they stop being recognizable and/or functional.
Heart players pretty much embrace full-on body horror - specifically guts and organs. Nepeta's status as a penaggalan, Boldir's meat-lined trenchcoat, the full-on flesh tree growing out of Fozzer's back, etc. Body horror is par for the course in TTS but Heart players can really go all-out.
Hope players have a bit of a narrow focus because their designs are partly inspired by angels, of all varieties. Eridan's scramble of a face was inspired by the four-headed Cherubim (he's mushing four faces onto one head), Kuprum's backpack is modeled after the Ophanim (being three wheels), and Elwurd is basically an angel of death complete with scythe. It's a bit limited as an inspiration source but I feel there's still a lot of wiggle room within those constraints.
Blood players can cross over into body horror like Heart sometimes but mainly their design gimmick is "fluids". Tyzias' fluid is coffee (natch), with Stelsa it's largely the bloodish slurry she's powered by, and Galekh is just a blob of ink-black sludge. Karkat doesn't fit in here and he's been on the top of my redesign to-do list for a long time because of it. Get wet and wild if you're playing with your own Bloodbound.
For Mind players the key theme is toys and games - as in "mind games". Amisia's puzzle piece skin, Azdaja's playing card motifs, Chixie's entire body basically being a speak-and-spell with Simon Says buttons, etc. It's a pretty fun motif to play around with, even when it's something as simple as Terezi's checkerboard shirt.
Doom players took a while to really find their niche since, when I started, it was literally just Sollux to work from, but as of typing this they've mostly solidified into a theme of "breaks" or "fractures". Wanshi's got shredded paper for skin and Ardata's got cracked skin like a porcelain doll, and Sollux still lines up since he's just a bundle of thorny wire with a central nervous system.
Rage likewise had similar issues finding something specific since it was just Gamzee at first, and its theme has bounced around from "fire" to "violence" and other areas I'm probably forgetting. If I'm remembering correctly I think their current theme is "insides out" - that is, something internal making itself external (analogous to repressed frustrations bubbling up to the surface). Lynera and Charun probably show what this means best, as they're mostly made up of worms and vein-ey mass, while Nihkee and Gamzee show some of the earlier versions of Rage's themes with flames bursting out from within. On your own, I'd recommend focusing on something erupting out of your Ragebound; enveloping and consuming them, even.
In order to offer a bit more variety, sometimes I'll go off this plan and instead make a design that's supposed to be the antithesis of their aspect. In other words, for a Life player I'd make them look lifeless - this is why Feferi and Meenah are completely colorless instead of having any plants or something on them. I don't have as defined a structure for doing things in opposites here, but here's some notes from ideas I've used in the past:
For opposing Light, using symbols of bad luck or general misfortune.
For opposing Mind, something mindless or without choice (like a puppet).
For opposing Heart, something "heartless" or artificial a la the Tin Woodsman.
Hope this helps, and thanks for asking!

not big on homestuck anymore but i still think about classpect sometimes... i've given up on having a strictly defined system since i feel like it just makes it harder to use it as a storytelling device yknow? like don't get me wrong i love perfectly organized balanced systems and having everything click into place but i think classpect is, at least for me, something a lot more flexible than what a lot of us try to make of it
i think it's variable and super up to interpretation and there really is no wrong way to do it; the comic obviously has its own established lore but when you use classpects in any other context a lot of that kinda stops being necessary? a lot of the symbolic representations of aspects, for example, are directly tied to the events of homestuck, so when you're working outside of that there's really plenty of room to do your own thing.
in hs plants are strongly associated with space and, to a surprisingly lesser extent, life, but maybe in your narrative they're a lot closer to life and not super relevant to space, or baking is less life and more heart because it's portrayed as a personal thing you put your heart into, or maybe even just because you have a heart player who loves to bake.
without the pyropes around you could connect dragons to any aspect really. the time aspect in your story could have a lot less ties to doom depending on how you choose to handle time travel. homestuck is like a big game of associations where everything is related to everything else, and there's no need to force those associations into your story, you can have your own
and that's not even touching on the classes, which can honestly be as loosely defined as you want them to be. i'm not gonna ramble on but basically, with classes and aspects both, if you can justify it in a way that makes sense to you it's fair game. if you feel like a title adequately describes a character's role and arc then go for it, even if it seems different from what we see in homestuck - you're not writing homestuck, after all, this is your story to tell
#classpect#i guess don't expect a ton of posts here#no more homestuck society has not only progressed past the need for homestuck we never needed it in the first place#but seriously though hs makes me more pissed off than happy at this point and that's not even getting into hs2#so there's really no good reason to keep putting up with that lol#uhhhh what else#fuck hussie etc#not saying i'll never post again just making it clear that i don't care for the actual comic anymore#and i mean it honestly feels weird to keep talking about just this single part of it but hey#special interest hell i guess#who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#enjoy the rambling and i hope my posts have been decent#page of void signing off for now ✌🏽

What characters would you say fit under bard of heart? Or if you cant think of any, then general bard of heart characteristics?
Haha definitely easier the other way around but I'll give it a shot. To help me organize my thoughts I'll do the 2nd part first.
Bard of Heart: one who invites destruction thru [Heart]/one who destroys [Heart].
Bards are generally very polarized, either being completely separated from their aspect or completely in sync with it. Think high vs sober Gamzee. I sometimes hear people talking about this with “Classpect inversion,” which I don’t really agree with. The bard should be destroying their own aspect and end up somewhere closer to the opposite aspect, not literally becoming that aspect. So for this it would be suppressing or destroying their self, soul, and empathy. This is going to get them somewhere close to a Mind, but they’re still very much defined by the destruction and not by embracing the opposite aspect. Like, Gamzee ends up being kind of a Hope player for the first chunk of the story, but what defines this part of the story is him being high and destroying all his Rage. So a Bard of Heart might be someone who forcibly tries to be logical all the time or maybe they try their best to not stand out and are actively passive, becoming something of a “Background character”. Or maybe they're undead and the heartless part is very literal, or they're a robot like the Tin Man from The Wizard Of Oz.
Destruction thru Heart... Maybe it’s just them finally snapping out of their logical façade and doing a complete 180. Maybe enabling people other people, giving them the confidence to go thru with whatever they're about to do?
To pin down a character that might fit into this sort of mold... Maybe it’s just because my mind is stuck on the Wizard Of Oz and I’m a contrarian, I might go with the Cowardly Lion. His whole character is about him being a useless coward, something he really has no business being. He’s a lion! But he also has these character defining moments where he’s an animal. The first half of his intro has him intimidating the tin man and the scarecrow. In retrospect the film is kind of short so I guess there isn’t a ton to go off of so maybe he’s not the best example, but I think there’s an argument for him at least.

assorted mechs headcanons!
@velcrooooo @classpecting @cassianfaux thank you so much for validating me i am going to infodump now. not organizing this bc this isn’t a meta or a compilation post and i’m feeling like living the wild life. am gonna put this under a cut though bc it got long jklsad;fjklsdafkla; most of it is me going on abt the aurora design and then some of my scuzz/brian thoughts and a weirdly poetic nastyaurora thought
-dr carmilla has two doctorates; in biomedical engineering and philosophy
-drumbot brian isn’t a pushover- in fact, he’s actually very stubborn! on moral issues, of course, but also just in general- he’ll decide on an opinion and refuse to change it, even when a situation continues to get worse (though he’s been worn down a bit from millennia of dealing with the mechanisms)
-his switch doesn’t get flipped around that often! when he has it on one setting or the other, he finds it incredibly hard to rationalize changing it, because he feels like his current morality is correct. the other mechs don’t flip it, either, because like. it’s treated vv lightly in some fanworks but it really is a huge violation of his boundaries to do without consent
-scuzz was a full-on mechanism, and was part of the crew for a long time! she was quite hotheaded, and ended up leaving the crew over an argument that got out of hand. later, she tried to find them, but that was when they were fleeing carmilla and so actively trying to avoid detection, so she gave up.
-aurora was really small, especially at first! she’s been expanded over the years due to nastya and tim’s additions, but especially during the carmilla era they were really struggling for space. several of the mechs had to room together; bit of a timeline below
-carmilla and jonny: they don’t have the aurora at this point, just a vv small, breaking-down ship she stole from the new texan government that i have overdescribed in my fic quite a lot
-carmilla, jonny, nastya, and aurora: aurora hasn’t been expanded very much, as nastya’s still figuring out how to be an engineer! so they all live in the main body of the ship, which at the time had two very small bedrooms with one bed each- carmilla converted hers into a lab and proceeded to get a very unhealthily low amount of sleep and sometimes just pass out on the ground, whilst jonny and nastya shared a room in theory but then nastya and the aurora got together and so she started sleeping in the engine room
-carmilla, jonny, nastya, and ashes: since nastya sleeps in the engine room now, jonny and ashes are roommates for a while. they get zero (0) hours of sleep because they keep bothering each other. it’s not a good arrangement but it’s also where jonny and ashes get a lot of their weird inside jokes from so they presumably bonded
-carmilla, jonny, nastya, ashes and scuzz: no one knows where scuzz sleeps. she’s quite short/skinny, so she can fit in a lot of places. occasionally jonny will open a cupboard or whatever and find her inside. space is still made quite a bit tighter with the addition of a new member, though. (the aurora only has one bathroom and jonny spends four hours in there doing his makeup every day already!) nastya gets frustrated enough to start working on a gravity pod.
-carmilla, jonny, nastya, ashes, scuzz, and ivy: nastya finished a gravity pod a couple years before she came on, and spent a while using it as a blissful escape from the chaos of the mechanisms before ivy joined up and she was bullied into letting her have it. ivy ends up converting most of it into a library, but unlike carmilla and her lab she still uses it as a bedroom as well.
-carmilla, jonny, nastya, ashes, scuzz, ivy, and drumbot brian: he refused to room with anyone for a while, which lead to a lot of him huddling up in the pilot’s seat with only a blanket to keep him warm and sadness to keep him company (which honestly was still preferable to one of the mechs doing it instead). eventually, when nastya finishes the second gravity pod (quite a bit faster than the first, as she’s gotten into the groove of it now!), brian gets to take it. she also finishes a third one around this period, which ashes takes, so jonny finally has a room to himself. it is now the worst room on the ship, as the gravity pods are significantly larger and more comfortable. jonny bitches about this for a couple centuries.
-carmilla et al and the toy soldier: not many changes here! the toy soldier rooms with ivy and they get along splendidly! this is also when scuzz leaves- obviously, that makes quite a big change to the dynamics of everyone and everyone’s emotions, but she didn’t have a room so it’s not too relevant for these headcanons and i’d like to think through my thoughts abt that a bit more/put them in fic form instead of bullet point headcanons.
-jonny, nastya, ashes, ivy, drumbot brian, ts, and tim: carmilla has been airlocked, but no one’s willing to go in her lab. there’s some odd shuffling around because at first tim doesn’t get on with anyone, and then he doesn’t get on with anyone but nastya and third wheeling with that kind of thing is incredibly awkward, and a lot of his roommates get shot. eventually, nastya builds an o’neil cylinder (which i’ll elaborate on in the next point) and that solves most of their space issues as it’s quite big! so: by the time marius and raphaella join, there’s no super relevant headcanons here, because they both set up in their own areas on the significantly larger ship.
-nastya proposes during general snow’s revolution! they’ve finally managed to get rid of carmilla, they’re giddy and free and head over heels for each other, and amidst cannon fire and blood and war nastya laughs and is more loose with her words and her manners and her affection then she’s ever been before. they swear their love when the war is over and they are safe for sure and have to pause the ceremony because they’re laughing too hard over ‘till death do us part’. instead of a normal wedding ring, nastya unveils the project she’s been working on for millenia, an o’neil cylinder twisted into a ring that’d surround aurora fully like nastya couldn’t- yes, aurora, she’s aware she’s tiny! stop bragging! she’s taller than jonny, at least- and made of metal and gears and an unconventional twist on tradition, because they’re an unconventional couple, aren’t they?
-nastya and aurora then run off to go on a honeymoon. the rest of the mechanisms are stranded on the random planet the wedding was on for like three centuries and are very bitchy about it when the two of them finally return.

Hiya, might I get a maid of time analysis? Please and thank you! ^v^
As always, I can only give a little sneak peek! ;3c But I always make sure to cover the most important and/or big parts of it!
~~~~~~~
Now, the Maid of Time is a fascinating Classpect; and is one that many are aware of! It is a person who embodies so many things all at the same time, that their presence is one not short of being highly magnetic and electrifying. They are made of Time and all of its forms; literal, metaphorical, and emotional. For the literal Time, they are someone who most likely is highly attuned to the ever forward march and flow of time. Not a moment passes them by where they are not aware of their present moment, but also of their past decisions and the ones to come in the future. They are the most aware of Time when it comes to their friend group, and as such will often make sure that events to come will be seen through. Making sure appointments, dates, destinations, and other important events are met; they help to usher everyone to their places on the universe’s stage before the curtain has a chance to be pulled back. They are not the playwright, but more so the director who holds the script.
They are also someone who is drawn towards the macabre; of death, decay, and all that comes after it. When they see a skeleton on the road, they do not see tragedy, but instead a creature’s cycle come to a close. They find solace in two words; The End. Because although everything around them is always changing, for better or for worse, there is that certainty that it will eventually come to a stop. And with it, a new cycle shall begin. Maids of Time are surprisingly philosophical people, sometimes giving a few Mind-bound a run for their money when it comes to their logic and philosophies. They see the beauty that comes in death, because they know that every end creates room for a new story to start. One could argue that the Maid of Time is one made of death and/or decay; perhaps they themself have experienced a tragic loss of some kind, but did not go through a normal journey of recovery and grieving. Perhaps in that tragedy, they saw a grace that so few people are capable of comprehending. Not that the Maid of Time cares what other people think, of course.
Of course, the Maid of Time is also one who is made of a fiery, fighting spirit. They are one of the first people to spring into action when injustice is brought to their attention, and they are the most likely to see to it that such a thing is fixed. After all, they are trying to make sure that everyone is at their peak performance; if one person is slacking, or making it difficult for others to perform, then they would surely be one crummy director to simply ignore these problems.
However, don’t let this fool you; this attitude is one that the Maid of Time carries, but they also are still one who is greatly at war with their Aspect. They are aware of the passage of time and as such make sure everyone is where they need to be, yes, but they are one who constantly lives in stress because of it. They love the macabre and fawn over death, but only because they are not a stranger to it. The Maid of Time is one covered excessively in scars from wounds long since past, but will surely have many more to come. They seek out ways to fix injustice, yes, but rarely do they ever pay attention to or care to the injustices dealt to them. They are still fighting against their Aspect, and they still hold a sense of wariness towards it.
During the Maid’s journey, they may try to neglect their duty as a director, or leave it up to someone else to fix and create. The reason why this plan cannot be sustained is because no one can do it like the Maid of Time can. Their Classpect is unique, and so nothing could ever completely replace them and their place in the story. Therefore, something drastic needs to happen in the Maid’s life that would bring them closer to their Aspect. Perhaps a loved one is in danger or experiencing an injustice so harsh that only the Maid can fix it, or they themself are in dire need of their Aspect and its functionality to remain intact.
No matter what, as much as some Maids of Time may desire to see their Aspect be torn apart, and the sands be free of their glass prison, they would have to learn that there is a time and a place for allowing such things to happen. By the time they would come to this epiphany, though, Time would already be left in quite the state of disarray. Timelines would be a mess, the order of events would be wrong and all over the place, and the morale of all their friends would be quite low. Because of this, the Maid would have to work towards learning how to create their Aspect.
Creation of Time is a power very many wish to achieve, yet very few are actually granted it or are even able to handle it. This is actually for good reason, as Time is a surprisingly delicate Aspect. Too much of it, and it all is put at risk of collapsing in on itself. Too little, and everything will slow down to a standstill, as well as feeling extremely one-track. The Maid of Time is meant to help keep Time in check, making sure that there is not too much but also not too little.
They are someone who can create timelines on a whim, as much as they so desire. They can also create Time in small pockets of existence - making the flow of time slow down to a complete halt in one place, while speeding things up in another. In order to do this, the Maid of Time would have to be quite the chaotically organized individual, with levels of knowledge and awareness that may rival even the greatest Mind-bounds, Light-bounds, and Void-bounds.
As for more realistic powers of creating Time, the Maid is one who would seemingly always have the chance to sit down and talk with someone or even multiple people! They always have time to spare in their schedule, or at the very least are good at making a bubble of respite amidst the rush of life. A Maid is very capable and excellent at starting something, stopping it, and then starting it back up again. They are near masters of rhythm and beats, one might even say; always remaining on the key they need to reach and the page they need to be on.
There are many other ways for a Maid of Time to create Time, but that will be saved for the much more official analysis!
Now, creating through Time is when one is when the role of Stagehand and Director truly come into play for the Maid. By creating through Time, they are setting up the dominoes needed in order to create a massive, narrative chain reaction so that order is maintained throughout the flow of time. If someone needs to check the mail at a certain time, the Maid will do all they can to ensure that the mailman gets there on time.
More realistically, a Maid of Time who creates through Time is one who creates through perseverance. Which is to say, once a Maid of Time begins a project, they are most certainly going to see it through to the end; even if it’s all on their own. Every moment counts when it comes to a Maid of Time’s creation process, and while they certainly are capable of messing around with their schedule, it’s something they find quite disruptive to their very own wants, needs, and flow. When that inspiration starts to die out, the Maid may feel very guilty for not being creative; but what’s important for them in this moment is to allow their Aspect, and themself, to recuperate. Even though they are made of their Aspect, it is and always will be a finite source - no flame can burn forever.
The Maid of Time is a fiery, passionate, and justice-bringing friend and ally to have. They are full of life, and also a love for death and all things macabre. They can see the beauty in a bakery full of sweets as much as they do the moss and flowers blooming through the skull of an animal. Mystery, yet often alluring, people find the Maid of Time fascinating and off-putting; the two often going hand-in-hand to draw people closer to the Maid. Yet no matter how many people surround them, the Maid ultimately cares more about their own personal projects than anything else. They strive for completion of cycles, for the story to have an ending, for the curtains to be drawn on a story in which they put their hands in.
The Maid of Time is a force to be reckoned with, and an ally - perhaps even friend - to be had.
~~~~~
This has been in my drafts for a WHILE oops jdfnvjdn sorry about the very late response, nonnie!! But I do hope this does help to give a better understanding on the Maid of Time!

DUUUUUUUDE I'd love to see your classpects for the boys, n compare them to my own personal hc!! I love godtier stuff, and imagining them in bright silly outfits is just👌
This was so fucking PEACEFUL to work on it was a delight to do so let’s do this. I’m doing extended zodiac signs too because i CAN. Also, putting this under a cut cause it got LONG
CLASSPECTING THE SKELEBROS
UT!Sans: True sign is Scormino, Sign of the Fatalist
So, a point by point breakdown
-Cerulean: something that immediately woke me up to Sans as a Cerulean was the idea of a “mask for every occasion”. Sans is not one thing to all people. He flips between personas, adjusting it a little for each encounter. This isn’t because he’s manipulative per se, but because he genuinely thinks it’ll just make things easier for everyone
-Prospit: Prospit repression yo. Not to mention he’s more go with the flow than he is “fuck the system”.
-Doom: Rather than explain this connection, I’m just gonna paste the description for Doombound, since its practically a textbook description of Sans himself
Those bound to the aspect of Doom are fate’s chosen sufferers. It may not sound like an overly pleasant aspect to be aligned with, but it does come along with great wisdom and empathy. The Doom-bound understand that misery loves company, and they are ready and willing to provide said company. The Doom-bound won’t fix you; they aren’t healers. They are commiserators, aware that sometimes the only thing you can do for a person is let them know that they are not alone in their suffering. They are not the advice friend-they’re the friend you go to when you need to vent about a rough day at work. They are not necessarily noble martyrs, either-the Doom-bound can become quite irate about their lot. At their best they are wise, kind, and non-judgemental. At their worst, bitter, resentful, and fatalistic.
This is a summary of Genocide route Sans so succinct it could’ve been written about him intentionally. I did consider time for him, but ultimately Time is an aspect defined by a struggle. Sans does not struggle against the oncoming fate. He buys it a drink and hopes it leaves as little damage as possible in its wake.
As far as class goes, I classpect him as a Mage of Doom. One who understands or understands through their aspect, and no one understands the coming storm quite like Sans does. Mages are also traditionally understood as suffering as a result of their knowledge of their aspect whether too much or too little. In a sense, Sans’ relationship with the Anomaly encompasses both.
UT!Papyrus: True sign is Aquius, sign of the Whimsical
-Violet: Violet signs are noted for their eccentricity and individuality. I have a harder time coming up with two adjectives more fitting than that for Papyrus. Additionally, they have a reputation for craving social interaction to the point of being clingy, which is also extremely fitting
-Prospit. Not much to add to this one beyond going with the flow and an aversion to going off the beaten path.
-Breath:The aspect of freedom, confidence, imagination, and fun. Something notable about Breath players is that they’re at their best when they let loose and be themselves. Papyrus can’t really be who he wants to be when he’s trying to play a role, of guard captain or human hunter. When he’s being authentic Papyrus though, he’s capable of inspiring hearts and minds.
I classpect Papyrus as a Sylph of Breath. Papyrus does both literal and metaphorical healing. If you get knocked out during your fight with him, he carries you back to his shed and nurses you back to health. Additionally, Papyrus reminds people that they are free to chase their dreams and their own potential. He tries to make the Player recall their better intentions. He pumps up Alphys, restoring her confidence that she’s lost over the years. He heals the relationship between the player and Undyne in order to liberate Undyne to be her more authentic self: a woman who just wants to help her people. Additionally, he is a key facet in liberating the Underground, restoring the sky to people who have been denied it for so long.
UF!Sans: True sign is Tauriborn, sign of the Covetous
-Bronze: Bronze just has that earthy quality I eat with a SPOON for Red. Additionally, they navigate that space between a genuine desire for stability and a tendency to stubbornly commit even when it hurts you. Additionally, there’s a hedonism associated with Bronze signs that feels very fitting.
-Derse: restless skepticism, a tendency to mistrust, and rebellion in the blood? Sounds like a skeleton who’s been living rent free in my head for long enough.
-Rage: There’s of course a very literal level to this. Red’s one of the angrier of the skelebros. Additionally, though, there’s a resentment of lies and false civilities. Red hates liars, hates convenient likes. He tends to play his own cards close to the chest, but resents it in other people. Additionally, there’s a burn it all down impulse that’s very present in him that resonates with this aspect.
I classpect Red as an Heir of Rage. I tend to understand Heir as one who is surrounded by their aspect, or surrounds other with their aspect. Red surrounds himself in a field of rage, and those who are the target of his wrath are too. Additionally, though, he inherits the positive aspects of wrath, the bullshit detector and the impulse towards seeking out the truth. Additionally heirs tend not to take a very intellectual approach to their aspect, because they don’t have to. They embody it unconsciously.
UF!Papyrus: I kind of went over this but for the sake of coherency: True sign is Saginius
-Indigos: in addition to having a rep for being the bastions of order, indigos tend to devote themselves entirely to their interest. They can be sociable, but have a tendency to not really consider other people’s emotions, leading to a lot of unintentional hurts. Edge has a cold abrasive personality at many points, but it’s rare that he intends to hurt the people closest to him. It just sort of happens to him.
-Prospit: Again, Edge doesn’t rebel. He works with the society cards he’s been dealt. His prospit associations are where he’s closest to his Tale self.
-Hope: Hope is the aspect, not just of optimism, but of order. Hope players have a very black and white approach to the world, and dedication to ideals that they see as higher than themselves. Both of these are to me very Edge qualities, even if he’s not the most sunshiney person. He has things he believes in strongly, and he doesn’t wave.
I classpect Edge as a Knight of Hope. He defends his aspect, defending his ideals and the things he chooses to dedicate himself, and defends with his aspect, using his internal compass as a bastion against doubt and misgivings. Additionally, Edge has an inherent lean towards protecting and working for others, even if at his most unhealthy point his ego can make him bossy.
US!Sans: Blue’s true sign is Arcer, sign of the Officer
-Burgundy: Rust signs tend to be characterized by an unbending determination. Its not that they’re immune to the bad things in the world, its simply that they tend to roll with the punches and try to make things work regardless. Blue is quick to trust and overly excitable, but a loyal friend and an imaginative companion. All of these are Rust characteristics.
-Prospit: Again, unwavering optimism and a loyal temperament.
-Blood: Blood is the aspect of relationships and mutual support. Blue is an extremely social creature, prone to doing his best work via inspiration. He invests strongly in the people around him, and has a hard time giving up on others. Blood can also be the aspect of sinking ships. They tend to latch on to things and people other’s might consider to be “lost causes” and stubbornly refuse to leave them behind. I tend to characterize Blue with a low level of anxiety, constantly afraid that the people around him are going to leave him behind if he’s not good enough. Peak Blood player.
I classpect Blue as a Page of Blood. Like I said, Blue’s “Sans” tendencies come out in his interactions with others. Like most pages, he has a very shakey grasp of his aspect. He genuinely has the ability to make people feel cared for and comfortable. He even has great potential to inspire others to do better. However, he’s still in the process of learning how to command his aspect effectively, sometimes vacillating between overloading people with interaction and at other times barely confiding his emotions in even the people he should be close with. As this potential unlocks, though, there’s no ceiling to all he might achieve.
US!Papyrus: Stretch’s true sign is Gemza, sign of the Shrewd
-Gold: Gold signs command intellectual prowess, quick wit, and reserved tendencies in a way Stretch has done his entire life. Something notable about goldbloods is they have a tendency to refuse to live up to their full potential. They find their niche and carve out their mark within it while letting the rest of their life functionally fade to the background as “unimportant”. Stretch is adept and knowledgeable in his areas of interest and finds it hard to give a shit about the rest. Despite this, he still hangs on to the goldblood’s usually innate likeability, albeit without much emotional vulnerability.
-Derse: While Stretch isn’t exactly a rebel, Derse has an association with skepticism and a desire for rationality that inherently resonates with him. One thing that also stood out to me is a tendency to develop a very self-effacing sense of humor as a cover, which is a VERY Stretch quality. He doesn’t quite have the repression for Prospit, nor will he let himself be put into boxes that don’t suit him.
-Mind: Mind players (and Stretch) are defined by a certain sense of fluidity. They don’t really feel compelled to develop a strong sense of self, preferring instead to react organically to how they think is best and most logical to the moment. Stretch is a creative and quick thinker, which combines with a very nasty FOMO and an aversion to simplicity. Absolute Mind Player Core.
His classpect is tricky, but I feel Witch of Mind is the most fitting for him. Witches are often characterized by having a more lackadaisical relationship with their aspect. They understand it intimately enough to know how to break it when it suits them. In addition to reason and choice, Mind is also the aspect of systems and rules (think Terezi’s justice core). Stretch is a quick study about systems, but doesn’t necessarily adhere himself to them. Whether its a game he’s playing, a puzzle he’s solving, or a person he’s interacting with, sometimes the best thing in the world is to dig in and study until you find the point that breaks the whole thing open.
SF!Sans: Black’s true sign is Cancen, sign of the Translucent
-Lime: Lime signs tends to be characterized by forceful and intense personalities, with intense emotions and a tendency to fixate on improvement. They can often be effective at inspiring people to follow their lead, but have difficult personalities to work with. All of this is extremely Black, with the proviso that I tend to characterize him as often needing to repress those intense emotions. He leans hard into his own anger, but often covers up his other extremes for the sake of their own safety.
-Derse: while Black has learned to cooperate with the world around him, he’s never not going to be looking for ways to get around it. He’s often sardonic, and is usually extremely slow to trust those around him. He may put on a front of being the Queen’s man through and through, but there’s a lot of Irons in the fire that he doesn’t feel the need to make public.
-Heart: As I said, I tend to characterize Black as struggling against strong emotions that even he barely understands. He has a very distinct and strong personality, as well as intensive emotions. In moments of stress, he’s prone to intense self-reflection. Where did he go wrong, where can he improve. Additionally Heart players have an association with identity constructing, frequently diffusing their personality into a variety of splinter selves in a form of elaborate “roleplaying”, which to me clicks nicely with Black’s bossy and aggro Royal Guard posturing.
Its because of this struggle against his own aspect that I classpect Black as a Rogue of Heart. Rogues often struggle to cope with their aspect, and may even begin to crave the opposite. Black at his core craves the rational thought and pure justice of the Mind aspect. However, the more they embrace their aspect, especially in service to others (being a passive class), the healthier they often end up being. If you’ve read my “Tyrant” fic, Black steals his and Rus’s performance of self to allow them the freedom to act and pass unnoticed by the guard. He represses his own emotions to give space to other people’s, and at his best can redistribute his own assurance with his purposes to the people around him, making him potentially an inspiring presence.
SF!Papyrus: Rus’ true sign is Capries, sign of the Bold
-Purple: purples have a tendency to dedicate themselves to causes or people they care about and work until they are either stopped or made incapable or working more, much as Rus works for his brother’s well-being. Additional points of resonance were a macabre sense of humor, a tendency to withdraw when upset, a sense of fatalism, and a tendency to dig in his heels even if its against his own best interest. Plus….Clown Rus sexy what can I say.
-Derse: like his brother, Rus is inherently skeptical of easy outs. Like many Derse dreamers, he’s a problem solver, even if it comes at great personal cost. Rus’s Derseness is also exemplified in his tendency to develop strong bonds of loyalty to other people….without ever really allowing himself to be vulnerable with those people. He has the perspective that his emotions don’t truly matter.
-Time: Honestly kind of surprised it took me this long to make one of the Lazybones a time player, but I think making Rus it was the right choice. Time players are often defined by a sense of struggle. Time players are seemingly incapable of taking things lying down. Even if they won’t fight for themselves (and Rus rarely ever will) they often have an internal moral code that makes them unable to be a bystander. Rus is lazy, he’s a fatalist, he has a hard time taking care of himself. But he’s unable to stop himself from acting, especially when it involves someone he cares about. Additionally, Rus has associations with death in his judge role, which he takes extremely seriously.
I debated making Rus another knight, but ultimately I feel Seer of Time fits him better. All the Sans derivatives are prone to a sort of restless curiosity about the world around them, and in Homestuck terms I see that as a desire to in some way sync up with their aspects. A Seer is one who invites understanding. Rus seeks to reckon with both the cycle of life and death and the wide variety of timestreams that are causing havoc in his world. Unlike the mage, he has a hard time accepting what he understands: Seers are in many cases notorious for resenting the idea of someone else controlling them. Still, he’s practically unable to stop himself from exploring further, continuing to pick and pick at the scab of his reality no matter how much it hurts.

Since I didn't see anyone ask about the homestuck au I feel obligated to ask as a fellow Homestuck (insert Homestuck police image (you know the one) here)
Oh fuck oh no the homestuck au oh shit
There’s not much content here, I just organized them on classpects I thought they’d fit and put some of them as trolls (Also, alternia here is quite different from canon)
I think the most fun on this au is explaing my process to thinking why I decided what I did, so this is gonna be a quite repetitive and long post, sorry y’all
Kids:
Evan: Witch of Breath, his aspect basically because he has the leader role but it’s not something he takes control himself, it’s about the freedom he seeks and then incentivating others to join him, I chose the class of the witch since it’s the active change class, wich means he changes the aspect/changes through for himself, let’s think about games for me to explain you- he hates games where he has to do something like it tells him to, and love the games where he can use his liberty to have fun in whatever way he finds. I also have him as a prospit dreamer for reasons that I don’t really want to explain since it’ll get so repetitive, you guys getting the moons I say so >:)!
Tyler: Actually a Rogue of Time. I can’t lie I really wanted a timeplayer on the kids side, but I think I got a good thinking here, stay with me- The fighting aspect, the fact they don’t accept things as they are and act to change instead of just waiting things happen, the impatience- I quote the extended zodiac definition of time players: “You can’t tell them to sit still and look pretty”, plus, the rogue part of his title, the passive stealing class, someone who steal the from/through the aspect for others. A rogue can be generous and receptive, with strong ideals, on the worst cases they can bee too impulsive and apathetic. I’m not like 100% sure but I needed him as a time player and this classpect with him as a derse dreamer fit so well on how I expect him to be in this au, looking really self-centered and yet doing all he does for others instead of himself!
Nogla: Green boy is our Knight of Space! I mean... With Tyler’s description you might expect him to be te opposite, as a space player his job is to not worry about where things go, and pretty much enjoy the ride! He does understand that he needs to do things so they go the way you want to, he just don’t usually worry about it that much, he worries more about how he’s doing something than what he’s doing, and that gets him to the creative aspect, wich is why he, as a space player, is the one with the mission to creat the new universe! But that’s not all, he’s a knight!! The passive serving class are known to have a mask that’s supposed to make their friends trust them more than they trust themselves, Nogla’s is that he acts way more positive and stupid than he actually is so people around him believe him to be trustworthy, it also makes him feel safer around people that he trust are not using him. Sometimes the mask has a different effect and people thinks he’s annoying tho. But the thing with knghts are that they want to be there to help his friends, always, so he ends up being way too selfless and, well, as Tyler says: Actually stupid. He’s also a prospit dreamer, he’s just baby I love him.
Our last kid is Marcel!! He’s a Seer of Rage! His aspect comes from his chaotic side, as a rage player, he believes that society is full of lies, and there’s nothing he hates more than someone not telling the truth to him, he wants to know what’s actually happening so he can act on his passive knowledge class of seer, someone that looks to know more so he can be able to help their colleagues by acting his advices himself, he can get easily frustated when things don’t go the way he wants them to, and in the worst case can get upset enough to become agressive, as a derse dreamer he gets even more chaotic and easily frustaded. Besides, both his dream pajamas and his god tier pajamas are purple and he looks amazing in the color ;)
Trolls:
Now we go for the alliens, the descriptions will get even longer since I have to tell what’s their blood is, I won’t be explaining aspects and classes that are showing up again on this case, but if you want a more especific analysis from me in one of the boys just send me another ask!
Cartoonz: Rust blood- Adventurous, craving for new experiences far from home and often not cautious enough when agitated? Well, that makes me feel less bad about choosing his blood on the color red lol. Jk, I mean, his blood I chose on color, but I also believe that he’d do a great alternian lowblood rebel! And as a derse dreamer Prince of Time? Well, the aspect you get what I mean from Tyler description, but boy, the active destruction class does fit him in the way I wanted, he can get way too confident on his habilities, with motive of course! He’s capable of incredible things!!! But his confidence can make him impose himself on others as authority, his ideals are important for him and he’s difficult to change his mind, he does what he deems right while still showing how much he cares for the little things around him. He’s someone trustwothy and a incredible good leader besides not being in the relationships side of aspects! Plus, what’s better than get our infamous King Toonz as the prince in the game?
Squirrel: I mean... Bronze blood?? Obviously?? Warm and generous?? Slow to open without having someone else besides them?? Open hearted?? Afinity to animals??? Needy of attention and affection?? Polite when upset?? Basically babies??????? Yup! Plus, once again the color guided me this way-- But anyway! He’s a (oh my god I forgot I put him as this but fuck yeah) Thief of Doom! Doom y’all know as the bad aspect about death and shit but listen to me! The extended zodiac explains that doom players tend to be sufferers, that through their difficulties became wise and empathetic of others surffering, not the advice friend, but the friend that can confort, we’re talking about our sweet Dead Squirrel here my guys! And then I got this idea of putting him as a thief and oh my gosh I hate thieves but I loved this idea so much I kinda want use it in a homestuck rpg I do with some friends! The thieve is the active stealing class, wich means he does what a rogue does, but for themselves, while rogues give away what they steal for others, thieves keep it for themselves, it’s normally interpretated as egoist and that’s why I hate them, but being the boy we’re talking about, even if Squirrel steals the doom aspect to keep it for himself, he does it in a selfless act of trying to protect his friends from it, you can interpretate him as a knight kind of person here but I’ll stay with a derse dreamer Thief of Doom!
Smiity is our gold blood and it’s not because of the vibes he and Sollux share with red an blue glasses yOU SHUT UP! But for real, yellow trolls have the whole psych thing but what I ended up loving about putting Smiit as one is the facts that, they like to talk even if the people around the don’t wanna hear, they tend to accidentaly force their opinions in other people and if the person feels sorry about it all they can get axious easily about their actions, but still do it because it’s themselves, and I love to take this as Smiit’s careless way to act combined with his canadian way to be nice and I love it! He’s a derse dreamer Rogue of Rage, I explained both before, so really basic: he straight up just spreads chaos.
Brian: He’s our mutant lime, our candy red blooded troll!! Decided on his decisions (”if i wanna do it i’ll do it fuck you”), he can be quite the drama queen, he exagerates his feelings since he can’t hide them, he’s has caring and empathetic instincts and he’s so goddamn loyal, Once again quoting the extended zodiac: “ Romance is extremely important to Lime Signs, and when they fall, they fall hard. They don't take rejection well, and a breakup can send them into a tailspin requiring an extended period of recovery.”. And he’s our sweet derse dreamer Knight of Breath! Another one who was already basically explained, his title makes him the one who wants to bring freedom to his friends. His mask is of a confident flirty while he himself is scared of not being what people expects him to be. Fuck I love this Irish handsome bitch.
Panda: He’s an olive blooded troll! They’re described to be generous and sweet, ready to help if someone needs, they’re not really good with changes but they’re the type to drop anything to get into helper mode. But oh damn, they’re not afraid of just getting up and going out if something is not as they like. He’s a prospit dreamer Seer of Life, seer was already kinda of explained, and I put him as life bounded because of their empathetic side and how I can see Anthony as a (sometimes moody) healer! I can’t lie that his was one of the last classpects that I thought of and I wanted to fit him as a Life player, if there are other suggetions I’d like to hear too!!
Moo: Well, jade bloods are basically the default moms right? I mean, this is supposed to be expected right? I mean, I can’t even quote the extended zodiac because I’d be just copying and pasting what’s written! I’ll gladly do so in another ask but for now just accept it. And if you think that being a jade blood is not mom enough, don’t worry, I got ya, he’s also a prospit dreamer Sylph of Blood. Sylphs are the passive creation class, creating the aspect / creating through the ascpec for others, they’re curious and can get intrusive when they get worried too much, they wanna know what’s wrong and they wanna help so bad, even when their help isn’t wanted, they’re gentle and the bringers of care for their groups, and holy this isn’t enough already? No, cause he’s our fucking blood player, the aspect of union and relationships, pretty much natural leaders that bring people together by becoming friends with every single person in the group and then forming the group. Y’all think he’s mom enough?
Ohm: I completely didn’t choose Ohm to be a teal blood because he gave me Terezi vibes just like Smiity shut up. He does a good teal! They’re social and can be really flirtatious even accidentaly, they got strong morals that may get them to commit mistakes and let them down easly, they trust people way too quikly, they’re often better alone but with the right companion they can do so much!! Plus, he’s a prospit dreamer Heir of Space! We already talked about space bounds so just let me tell you, the most known point in a heir is their innocence in a determined subject, It’s a thing that I personally can’t really explain tho, they’re the passive changing class, so they’re easily adaptable and open, they care a lot about what their impact may be in others so they may hide facts about themselves, they not only change themselves for others but they incentive others to change for better, they’re caring, friendly and understanding, in the worst case they can be way too easly manipulated.
Mini: Our ladd here is a blue blood! The blood color that’s described to be capable of causing the most good but also the worst harm. They’re nice to have around as friends, and can easly become one, they’re adaptable and people magnets, they vallue their friends, wich also means they can be hard to forget a fight and get easly moody towards people they once considered close. And he’s also a derse dreamer Bard Of Light! As a bard he’s the passive destruction class, they’re devoted and faithful, they can be easly offended by criticism towards what they think is right, possibly getting open minded if the critic is someone they’re devoted at, a close friend or partner, they’re helpful, willing and friendly, but can also be inflexible in cases. As a light player Mini can be described as willing to learn more about what’s interesting him at the moment, he’s a seeker and he sees rules as suggestions to what he should do. He’s also one that I chose last so if you have a suggention I’m open!
Scotty: The boy is our indigo blood! Friendly, cheerful, energetic and curious! He can be easly attracted to anything that gets his interest and that also means he loses said interest easly, he is stronger than he thinks he is and can be careless about himself and others around him, he’s one that need to have an eye on to make sure he’s fine, and of course the person need to be prepared for so much energy! As another one that I couldn’t easily decide and became one of the last ones I chose, he’s an prospit dreamer Maid of Mind. The active creation class is kind of a favourite of mine, but kind of hard for me to explain as well, what I can tell you about them is that they are born to a fate they don’t like, and once they envolve in the game they decide to do their own fate by expressing themselves on their creations or something, I’m not really sure but I love this class!! And being mind bounded means our fuckboy tries to be rational most of the time, often that means he overthinks a lot, he sees most if not all possibilities of a decision and he’ll think over them, he’s mostly a person that’s slow to act, but when he does he knows what he’s doing, so just do how he says!
Delirious: I’ll get people getting mad at me that I didn’t put him as either teal, blue or indigo blood, but for real can you really judge me to choose him to be a purple blood when they have the clown make up and creepy as hell aethetic? And plus, the fact their description says they’re hard to trust on others, they can be mysterious and are great at keeping secrets. They’re decided and hard to change minds, they often want to refuse to be helped even when they need, but after all, when they trust someone they become devoted, putting way too much trust on them. I mean, yeah?? And he’s also our prospit dreamer Page of Void. The active serving class is another one of my favourits, being the people full of potential, they compare themselves to other and then create an ideal of who they want to be in their mind, some persona they want to become with characterists they don’t see themselves having, their nature on believing they can be what they build on their minds show their innocence and kindness, they sometimes can shut themselves inside their personas and act like how they want to be and less how they are, at best, they’re caring, charming and big dreamers, while at worst they can be manipulative and selfish by forcing their persona on others. And with all that, Del is also void bounded, meaning he’s a great secret keeper! He’s attracted to mystery and the unknown is his best friend, while others want to find out what they don’t know, Del is convicted on doubting what’s said to be the truth, he can be easly described as intuitive!
I’m not really sure but I believe our violet blood will be Lui by being a Witch of Hope prospit player, I’m not gonna talk so much about why because I’m getting out of time sorry----
Last boy will be Kryoz as our fuchsia heir, derse dreamer and Mage of Heart, he’s one that I thought first in the au and I’d love to explain more, but once again I’m going out of time, you can ask me about him separetely if you want to!!
Sorry for just yeeting myself out of explaining in these last two, I have been writing this explanation for two days now and I had to start again like twice because I was running out of time, I’m also sorry if there are any grammar mistakes I hadn’t had the time to revise it efhdgdgfed

Important question do you have any Bright family headcanons
god i have so fucking many i had to wait for my gf to wake up before i replied to this so i could get out of bed and onto desktop to compile them
dr. bright-jack bright is nonbinary/genderfluid-he has antisocial personality disorder-classpect wise he would be a mage of doom derse dreamer-(slaps the side of jack bright) this bad boy can hold so much dissociation and fragmented senses of self-the further jack gets into a new body, the more he looks like his old self. after the novelty begins to fade he will chop the hair and dye it ginger, bind, wear fake glasses-his bodies are disposable so addiction isn’t really as huge of a deal for him. there’s a lot of psychological reliance and awful coping involved though. he’s rich and depressed and has multiple bodies you KNOW he does coke.-he texts and drives. he likes to live dangerously-he binge-eats & often as a goof and habitual hyperbole tends to become Fixated on certain foods. basically what i’m saying is he kins that 4chan post thats like “uncrustables are the only reason i havent killed myself and left this god forsaken planet”-speaking of, he speaks STRICTLY in hyperbole. you never know how genuine he’s being because its either 0 or 100 with him and his opinions-it takes a lot to get him to act or talk seriously-he will not cooperate, ESPECIALLY not if he is yelled at. he lives off spite and villainizing those trying to help him-he often threatens to get a restraining order against mikell-before rights left, he had an on-again off-again thing with her. -he doesn’t like commitment-he sure loves flirting with glass though-jack acts like a crotchety old man a lot of the time.-50% young rebellious 20 year old 50% crotchety old man and they balance perfectly to be “the embodiment of spite, pride and impulse”-he drags whoever is with him at the moment wherever he goes often. they dont get a chance to protest-"okay bridge, i know you got a lotta organizing and WHATEVER but you're gonna come go get a slushie with me. oh i also have to pick up some triple A batteries it wont take long" "i dont--" "i'll just take a quick stop at home depot dont even worry about it" "bright i cant--" "what kinda slushie you want?"-also, bright is a fucking shitty driver-we can have silly bright and angsty bright at the same time. it’s called being multi-faceted, fandom
The Rest of Them-mikells debatin boots real and canon-mikell used to need glasses, but you know how you dont realize you need glasses until late childhood thru teenage years?? yeah tj took his bad vision before anybody realized what was up-adam bright held the kids to a very high, almost unrealistic, standard, even before the whole abandoning his own children for the foundation thing. he was very similar to john mulaney’s dad but like, not funny about it-tj speaks with a southern accent-tj used to be very kind yes, and he had the best of everyone in mind, but he was as sassy and contrary as the rest of the bright family. if he grew up like the rest he would be known for a LOT of harmless teasing, no matter who you are-i’m not saying it’s the BEST fix but a super easy fix & my personal favorite as it still keeps (what i interpret as) the main point of scp-590 (the foundation is cold, not cruel, but this “cold” can lead to horrifying treatment for the “greater good”, also jack bright is sad and makes bad decisions) is giving tj a good ol’ fashioned lobotomy storyline, bojack horseman style. i think seeing the caring & kind teenager turn into an angry or apathetic husk is a good way to keep the level of “whoops turned my brother into a shell of his former self lol!” also it was the 70s at the LATEST when tj was “treated.” lobotomies happened from the 1930s to 1967. if the story is about the foundation not being free of unethical treatment sometimes, then bam. it’s still sensitive, but a LOT less ableist.-serra shouldn’t be TJ’s kid that’s fucked up. this isn’t so much a headcanon as a hot take.for good measure, an awful list of characters i have said jack bright is exactly like:-komaeda-inien from thrilling intent-trina from falsettos (in the case that mendel is glass and jason is tj)-yellowfang from warrior cats (im right!)-lalna from yogscast blackrock chroniclesi also compared warren kepler to mikell bright and will continue to do soi dont think a lot about the rest of the bright family but i know i should.

What's your take on the Heir of Space? I'd love to know!
Classpect Analysis: Heir of Space
Active or Passive: Passive
What they do: Heirs allow the manipulation of their aspect or allow manipulation through their aspect. Space is the aspect of beginnings/creation, creativity/art, randomness/variety, process, femininity (& fashion), passiveness, organisms, science (biology, chemistry, physics), space in terms of galaxies & universes, and space in terms of where you are (location) and what’s around you (matter).
Active equivalent: Witch of Space (Jade Harley)
Inverse: Mage of Time
The Heir of Space is someone who starts out passively embodying their aspect and having an abundance of it, often without realizing it. Regardless of whether or not they know it, their aspect protects them. One example would be if this Heir might be naturally live far from others, but this protects them since their neighbors are dangerous people.
With the Heir of Space you get an abundance of creativity. They come up with ideas for any kind of artistic expression and go with them on a whim, changing from one to the other very quickly. They might even recycle their old ideas into their newer projects to make something bigger and better. It’s likely that they have an interest in gardening, fashion design, or some type of artistic expression. In fact, they’re probably interested in many of these activities, since they are prone to shake things up so they have some variety. They’re very quirky and random, not really controlled by a schedule, and have sudden fits of motivation for a new piece or project. They aren’t great at finishing any of their projects, but they enjoy going through the procedure of planning them and just having some fun with them. They might also have some frogs as pets or even wear some galaxy-print clothing.
This Heir might be literally ‘spacey’ in that they have a low attention span and tend to drift into their own daydreams. They could be distant from others because of this. They also often take things as they come instead of worrying about it. Even if they mess up during one of their artistic projects and end up screwing up the whole thing, they can laugh it off and see it as a learning experience, because they see the process as more important than the product.
This Heir may also have an interest in science– physics, chemistry, biology, or even some whack kind of alchemy would be a good fit for them. (Though there is a likelihood they’ll be adept when it comes to genetics, considering their role in the game.) Relating back to what I said earlier about them being able to laugh things off, they’re definitely like that with scientific experiments, too. If something blows up in their face, they don’t care too much. This Heir views the learning process as more important. They might have a journal full of all their discoveries, along with creative– if sometimes unreasonable– theories about what these discoveries mean.
The Heir of Space needs to learn how to take hold of their aspect and consciously use/embody it. Since this is the Space player we’re talking about, this Heir will be breeding the Genesis Frog, a task that won’t be difficult for them. As long as they have a Knight to keep them protected and on track (seeing how this Heir has a habit of not finishing their creative projects), they should be good to go. They should not become overconfident as a result of their powers, and they must be careful not to become too loose on the process of creating the Genesis Frog, since a mistake could very well lead to some fatal consequences. And as they continue in the game, a (healthy) Heir of Space will be less inactive (though still pretty space-y), often reacting to things that happen in the moment and taking the game in stride.
The Heir of Space allows manipulation of Space or manipulation through Space. Unlike their active counterpart (Witch of Space, Jade Harley), who exerts her will so Space will do as she forces it to, this Heir uses their aspect more intuitively and naturally. The Heir of Space allows manipulation of Space, which includes teleporting, growing, and shrinking objects around them to fit the situation. This might show up in a more subtle way, too: everywhere they leap and turn during battle, the places they land and jump off adjust in size and place accordingly so they’re perfectly balanced (but these things transform back to regular size once the Heir has no use for them, unlike a Witch, who does more Space rule-breaking); this is more of an intuitive way that Space protects this Heir.
Space protects this Heir in other ways, too (often via changes in the physical properties of matter). They can teleport to various unoccupied spaces in the blink of an eye. They might even unconsciously do this, like if an enemy is charging at them and they don’t notice, poof! They’ve teleported ten feet away all of a sudden. This power might be bewildering for the Heir at first, but since they’re the type to go with the flow, they’ll probably get used to it very quickly, and once they’re at full power they’ll be able to teleport both with and without conscious effort. And then there’s their growing/shrinking powers, which they can use on themself just like Ant-Man. This will be an unconscious power at first, with this Heir suddenly shrinking to dodge attacks or growing to become more powerful. (Though they are more likely to be shrinking as opposed to growing in the earlier stages of their powers, since I imagine it would take less effort.) But they learn to actively harness that too and use it to their advantage in battle. The Heir of Space might also be able to change their density so that they suddenly become very heavy, making them harder to throw, or light and airy, which helps them jump higher. This can help to determine how quick or slow they are as well. Additionally, the Heir of Space can use their powers to become an amorphous blob. I’m not kidding. Besides changing size, they can change shape, shifting their very cells and framework around so they can dodge objects and enemies. At first it might just be their arm or face warping out of shape in order to get out of the way of something, like this example from the webcomic Paranatural:
But just as they will with their other abilities, the Heir of Space will eventually harness this ability in a conscious way and be able to twist themself out of harm’s way. Besides making them difficult to injure, it’ll also scare the crap out of their enemies.
At first, the Heir of Space unconsciously using their growing/shrinking, teleporting self and objects, shape-shifting, and density shifting will be more confusing to enemies than anything, and the Heir won’t have much idea what they’re doing, instead just letting stuff fly around them and going “Oh, okay. This is happening. Guess I’ll roll with it.” But once they can fully and consciously harness these powers, they can use them to a much greater extent, so they’ll not only be very disorienting to fight, but also very difficult to hit!
Furthermore, the Heir of Space allows manipulation through Space, which includes what I call a ‘gene scramble.’ This Heir’s powers encompass a lot of science-y stuff, considering physics (ex. density shifting) and chemistry (ex. rearranging their atoms). But for biology, they might be able to reach out and shift around the genes of creatures around them, essentially rendering their enemies’ very DNA useless, causing their system to go haywire. How utterly terrifying! It’s likely they can’t tweak very specific genes in a very permanent manner like a Witch can; it’s more like they send a general static shock or ‘gene glitch’ through an enemy.
Heirs also tend to inherit/embody/’become’ their aspect in some sense, so the Genesis Frog they create will likely be more suited to their tastes than that of the other players, though they didn’t plan it to end up that way. You might be thinking: If the Heir can become their aspect to some extent, can they become the Genesis Frog itself? And this is a question I find very difficult to answer. Perhaps an incredibly powerful and fully realized Heir of Space could embody the Genesis Frog to some in a larger extent. (In an especially cruel twist, if the Genesis Frog becomes mutated or dies somehow, the Heir could essentially sacrifice themself by becoming the new universe.) But in a smaller way, the Heir of Space could ‘become’ the Genesis Frog by having a large avatar of the Frog appear around them as a sort of protective shield. Kind of like a giant anime mecha suit, except, well, it’s a frog. Regardless of their power level at the end of the game, though, this Heir will likely have a powerful tie to the Genesis Frog and perhaps even be in tune with its state of being. For example, their teleportation powers are likely strengthened in the new universe they create, since they’re much more familiar with it as a result of their connection with the Frog.
As for a land for the Heir of Space, I suggest the Land of Stars and Frogs. The shining and seemingly bottomless ponds on this planet that the frogs swim in are filled with gleaming stars. The sky is always dark because the denizen knocked all the stars from the sky, and now the frogs stay in the ponds, terrified that the denizen will steal the stars from the ponds too if they leave them. At first the stars seem useless, appearing to be nothing more than shining rocks. But if the Heir can learn to unlock their power with careful practice and concentration, they can send the stars back into the sky, thus allowing the frogs to come back out.
As for weapons, we’ve seen varied weapons for Heirs (hammer, bow & arrow, psiionics) and typically more flashy weapons for Space players (rifle, lipstick chainsaw). The Heir of Space is pretty laid-back, so their weapon might be an everyday object, with their interest in science, gardening, and/or art might playing into it. Paintbrushes, paint knives, pens, any chemistry equipment, a shovel… Go wild. As they continue with their session, they could upgrade to more powerful weapons, especially ones that are effective both upsized and downsized. (Think of John’s Zillyhoo.)
In conclusion, the Heir of Space is an interesting classpect with the potential to become incredibly powerful and nearly unkillable thanks to their powers. Thanks for reading!
I’m so sorry this took so long. I’ve been incredibly busy with schoolwork and the like ^^; nevertheless I hope this was helpful!

This may be an odd request but if you're able to do classpect *assignments* what would you say is the most fitting classpect for a gambler? I was originally thinking light but I'm completely stuck, if you don't do this type of thing there's no need to reply, sorry!
Mm, I think the hardest issue with Classpect assignments is that Classpects are very, very unique to each person. No two Classpects are the same, because they’re heavily reflected by the person involved. In fact, although we do tend to put a lot of stock into the various personality traits or interests/habits of different Classpects, these can sometimes be misconstrued as stricter than they really are. In reality, we ought to look at Classpects as archetypes that determine the purpose someone holds in any given session. For example, as a Sylph of Time, my job would be to maintain the timelines and keep my teammates alive and out of danger by “healing” through Time, perhaps by accelerating the body’s natural healing process, or by directly replacing the damaged limb/organ/etc. with one from another timeline, provided this didn’t cause a paradox. My personality is almost irrelevant because it only shapes the kind of Sylph of Time that I am. There are certainly going to be people out there with the same Classpect as me who are organized and constantly on time—I am not one of those people. I have ADHD and pendulum wildly between “oh I have all the time in the world” and “oh god oh god I have no time left shit shit shit!” But I also have an impeccable sense of rhythm, a deep love for music, a love of history, and archaeology, and a heathy interest in death and its trappings. The way I view timelines is much like a musical scale, and by using music, rhythm, and an understanding of how “time heals all wounds,” I would set about fulfilling my purpose in the session, keeping Doomed Timelines and paradoxes to a minimum, and keeping my teammates topped up. Our “purpose” within the game is not strictly defined by what we’re good at—with time management being an ironic weakness of mine—but also the shoes we can grow to fill, and challenges we must face.
That said, let me give you some ideas about how a gambler might manifest in the game as an archetype, with the consideration that gambling is a considerable part of their identity. Light can be a very obvious one for a gambler, given that it’s an Aspect that deals in fortune. Yet, there are a few other Aspects I’d recommend looking into, depending on how gambling affects this person’s overall purpose. Is it something they’re skilled at, and would easily be able to weaponize and use to fulfill their role in the session? Or is it something that’s holding them back, an addiction they’re suffering from that’s draining their pockets little by little?
For this example, let’s go with the first one, since successful gamblers, by and large, are very skilled at their craft and know their limits. Thus, someone who’s able to take bold risks with an Aspect that can, say, affect the reality of the universe itself is going to be an incredible asset, and a fearsome enemy. It’s also important to consider their etiquette and gambling methods. Are they fond of cheating, or do they play the game straight? Do they risk it all every time, or go bit by bit and build it up over time? For example, a gambler who plays it straight and commands the attention of a room, but has very expressive tells, might be a Light player. There’s no doubt they’ve got a natural stroke of luck when it comes to things like slot machines, Blackjack, and the like—games where fortune is very important to win. A Void player, or especially a Mind player, would be exceptional at a game like poker, where keeping a cool head and a neutral expression is key to gaining an advantage. Life players may be more likely to bet pretty decent amounts at a card table each time, keeping a constant rate unless a hand is just abysmal. Doom players, on the other hand, would start very small each time, pressing the limits of how low they can go. Then, when fortune finds them and they’re dealt a very good hand, they’re just as likely to put their chips all-in, because Doom is about incredible explosions of sheer power that carry extreme risk with them.
Depending on the person in question, I’d say your best bets are Light, Void, Life, or Doom, and possibly also Mind. Possible Classes can include the Knight (known for keeping an outer façade of some sort to hide true feelings), the Thief (infamous for being ambitious and insufferable at times, seeking what they lack most) or even the Heir, if they find themselves particularly fortunate in terms of their Aspect. If you’d like, feel free to send another ask with more description and I can give you a more specific analysis!
