Hang on. This person is aware that Jessie Gender is on Nebula, the trans woman who talks about sex and gender and queerness mostly in regards to media, and thinks that nobody has as queer focused content as James Somerstown, the guy who from my understanding talked about specific queerness mostly in regards to media?

Came across this James Somertan defense from 6 months ago and it’s fascinating

Posts at St. Nicholas Flats
The St Pancras House Improvement Society was instrumental in the redevelopment of the slums of Somerstown, the area behind Euston Station. The Society sought to provide good-quality housing with all mod-cons at affordable pricing for the residents, even the very poorest former slum-dweller. The result of this vision was the Sidney Estate, a group of six blocks of housing surrounding a large central courtyard. Each house was named after a saint: St. Nicholas, St. George, St. Francis, St. Anthony, St. Michael and St. Christopher.
Tumblr media
The smaller courtyard to the front of St. Nicholas block contains a collection of posts, each surmounted by a sculpted ship – a reference to the fact that St. Nicholas is (as well as being Santa Claus) the patron saint of sailors. The sculptures were included from the wishes of the society to make the housing look attractive as well as being affordable. As to what purpose the posts served, my guidebook tells me they are lampposts – which seems rather odd, considering there are no lamps on them. I have found another more believable source though, which tells me that they are actually washing line posts. Perhaps as a strong wind propels a ship, it was hoped St. Nicholas could provide a stiff breeze to help in drying the laundry?

Topographical Survey Weston Colley: What it is and Why it's Important
youtube
A topographical survey, also known as a land survey, is a crucial process that provides a detailed map of a particular area's physical features. It typically includes information about the shape and contour of the land, the location of trees, man-made structures, and other features, including underground utilities, which can impact a construction project.
If you're planning on building on a piece of land in Weston Colley, a topographical survey is essential. It provides you with accurate data that you can use to create a site plan and determine the feasibility of the project. In this article, we'll explore what a topographical survey entails and why it's essential for any construction project.
What Does a Topographical Survey Involve? A topographical survey requires specialized equipment and expertise to accurately measure and record land data. It involves the use of a range of surveying instruments, including electronic distance measurement equipment, total stations, and GPS receivers, to gather accurate data about the area under consideration.
During a topographical survey, a surveyor will typically take a series of measurements at regular intervals across the site. These measurements are then used to create a detailed map of the area, which shows the shape and contour of the land. The surveyor will also record the location of any existing structures or other features that might affect the construction process, such as trees, waterways, or underground utilities.
Why is a Topographical Survey Important? A topographical survey is an essential step in the planning process for any construction project. It provides you with accurate data about the area you plan to build on, which can help you to make informed decisions about the feasibility of the project. Here are some of the reasons why a topographical survey is so important:
Accurate Data: A topographical survey provides you with highly accurate data about the land you plan to build on. This data can help you to determine the feasibility of the project and identify any potential issues that could impact the construction process.
Site Planning: A topographical survey provides you with detailed information about the area's topography, which can be used to create a site plan. This plan shows the layout of the land, including any existing structures or other features that need to be taken into account during the construction process.
Cost Estimation: A topographical survey can also help you to estimate the cost of the project accurately. By providing you with accurate data about the land, you can better understand the scope of the project and the resources needed to complete it.
Legal Requirements: In many cases, a topographical survey is required by local authorities or government agencies before any construction work can begin. Failure to obtain a survey can result in legal issues and delays in the construction process.
Conclusion In conclusion, a topographical survey is an essential step in any construction project. It provides you with accurate data about the land, which can be used to create a site plan, estimate costs, and determine the feasibility of the project. If you're planning on building on a piece of land in Weston Colley, it's important to obtain a topographical survey before beginning any construction work. At Twenty20 Surveys Ltd, we offer a range of surveying services, including topographical surveys, to help you make informed decisions about your construction project. Ces Fabregas & lap dances.
One night, I missed my train home, and after trying a couple of hotels in Kings Cross, found them all full.
Thinking that I could spend the rest of the night just doing that, I decided I’d find an all night venue to kill time until the first train at 5:45.
The only place I knew was a lap dance place the other side of Somerstown, so I went there. Being a metalhead, I wasn’t really dressed for that sort of place, but not being too extreme, I thought I had a good chance of gaining admission.
The doormen weren’t keen on me, but after a chat, during which I tried to convince them that Somerstown was changing it’s name to The Ces Fabregas Estate, and the promise that I would buy a drink and a dance, they let me in.
I immediately knew why they let me in, because the place was entirely empty.
So I bought a drink and looked around.
Two girls were working, and at the time I came in I could see that they were both giving lap dances in two separate booths. Obviously I wasn’t going to stare, so looked away, just glancing over occasionally, like.
It was only when they had finished their dances and moved away that I noticed that both their clients were women.
I had a few beers and actually got talking to the two women, who it turned out were into a lot of metal bands and in fact I saw them at a show about a year later in Corby.
I didn’t get a dance, and left still with a couple of hours to wait for my train.
Since then, I always make sure that I never miss the last train.
