Tips and FAQ for Asks

Hello beautiful humans, I want to do my best to get to everyone's asks so here are a few things you can do to help make that happen! (if you're looking for the cast stream master list, skip to the bottom)

Please don't spam the same question repeatedly. I will get to you eventually, I promise! But when you submit the exact same thing multiple times, it just slows me down. I've got one single brain cell, please have mercy.

No spoiler requests. I cannot tell you anything about future episodes, when they will come out, what will happen to certain characters, how the story ends etc. We're limited on what we can say in general until more episodes release. The entire cast has signed NDAs (non disclosure agreement) preventing us from revealing anything, but more than that, we wouldn't want to ruin your experience of watching and engaging with the show organically! Trust me, just enjoy the ride, it's better that way.

Don't take anything too seriously. Please keep in mind most of these answers will just be for fun. My thoughts and opinions on the character, both for silly things like favorite dessert and more serious things like character analysis, are not hard and fast canon. Same goes for any of the actors. We can speculate about our characters, we know and understand them well, but when in doubt, assume its allllllllllllll non-canonical haha

Read through previous asks. This will help prevent asking things I've already answered. I'm going to be tagging (i swear I'll do it fr) my answers with #amanda asks and #tadc asks so you can find them more easily. If you do ask a question I've already answered IT'S OK DON'T PANIC I won't be upset haha

Even though I'll be tagging my answers so you can easily find them, here are a few frequently asked questions just to get them out of the way. If you decide to ask me something I've already answered, or something that goes against the guidelines above, I'll probably skip it, you silly geese.

Q: I've seen people use several different pronouns for you, what are your preferred pronouns? A: They/them and I prefer masc leaning terms generally! I'm queer, NB and very open about my identity. But people will sometimes use she/her because they don't know. I will never get upset with someone for not knowing- it's ok. But now that you've read this, you know! So you can go forth educated. You're welcome to correct anyone who doesn't know, but please be kind to each other. We've all been the person who didn't know before.

Q: What do you think of X ship? A: I love and support all the ships! Ships are part of a healthy fandom, keep creating content that makes you feel seen and that YOU want to see, that's the foundation of creativity. And if anyone disagrees with you, remind them that a lot of classics are just fanfiction about the gods at the time. It's always been here.

Q: What is your favorite ship? A: Bunnydoll and Buttonblossom, because the dynamics are so much fun.

Q: Do you like X AU? A: Yes. It doesn't matter what it is, yes. I love the AUs and if it's a new one, you better include a link so I can find it. I want all of them, thank you so muuuuuuuuch~

Q: Have you seen or played X game/show/movie/meme etc.? A: Always happy to chat about other media! But if you wanna ask about something specific, please include a link or explanation because lets be just so very honest, half the time my brain is off in adhd land so there's a good chance I'll have no idea what you're talking about at first.

Q: Have you watched Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure? A: Not yet! But due to VERY POPULAR REQUEST I will be putting together a watch stream to watch it live with yall. Once that's happened, I'll put the link here.

Q: Have you seen Queen's second game and will you be playing it? A: Yes, we've all seen the trailer and we're very excited! We will be playing it as a full cast, just like last time, as soon as the game is finished. For now, please go enjoy the demo and support the team! Once it's out and we're ready to stream it, I'll post the link here.

Q: Can you come to X convention? A: I will come to any convention that yall want to see me at!

In order for that to happen, you have to request me directly with the convention. Most will have either a request form on their site or a specific email for requests. Just write in that you would like to see me at their event, and then they will get in touch with my agent to book me!

Q: Can I request a song for you to sing? A: Of course! I promise yall I'll do my best to put out more songs this year. If there's a cover you want me to consider doing, or an artist/composer you'd like to hear me work with, let me know!

Outside of that, if you just want a little clip, you can drop requests in the asks and if I know the song I might record a bit. This is COMPLETELY dependent on time, especially if I'm busy. Please understand ❤️

You can also make requests during stream signings, which is easier to accommodate in the moment. Just put the request in the order notes, and I'll sing a little bit for you while I sign IF I know the song. So choose wisely.

I do not understand how you could possibly be so offended by someone pointing out the simpliest of truths. That Palestinians are human beings, and that share the planet with every one of us. Tell me who suffers when faced with this reality? Tell me how it is anti semetic to care about Palestinians who are suffering?

have you studied palestinian nationalist ideology and why it was created? if palestinians left jews and israel alone, i would love to share the planet with them. however, the majority of palestinians (NOT ALL PALESTINIANS) have shown time and again they cant leave us alone or let us live. their nationalist ideology argues for eradication of jews. their leaders, both political and religious, in gaza and the wb brainwash the population with antisemitic rhetoric.

we can go all the way back to Amin Al Husseini, one of the grandfathers of the palestinian national cause and the grand mufti of jerusalem who was an ally of hitler (tbh we should go back to arabs conquering the levant but whatever). "Palestine is our land and the Jews are our dogs" or “فلسطين بلادنا واليهود كلابنا” was a slogan like hamas’ “khaybar khaybar ya yahood” (a reminder of khaybar, when muhammad led a massacre of jews in saudi arabia) created by husseini’s fans. it was chanted at a demonstration led by him that turned into the nebi musa riots, a pogrom against jews. the slogan was used during the intifadas all the way to today.

do i hate every palestinian? no. there are some who support peace and blatantly hate their leadership. do i love the palestinian nationalist narrative though? no and i don’t have to. it’s a narrative based on arab supremacy and nazi rhetoric. its goal is to eradicate jews and to coopt our history so they can claim indigeneity.

so when palestinians who support this narrative start a war intending to murder all jews and israelis and then whine about losing the war? a war their leadership started fully intending to make their own people suffer? tough fucking titties dude. don’t try to eradicate the jews. leave us the fuck alone already.

one thing i really like about buddhism--particularly mahayana buddhism--is that it understands context, so in my mind it's a very "human" religion. mahayana doesn't tell you to live up to impossible standards but rather, to actually attain what was once thought impossible through whatever means you have. by any means necessary is very applicable to mahayana buddhism.

in the lotus sutra, the buddha states something along the lines of "if a person needs an arhat to be saved, i will appear in the form of an arhat" and proceeds to list down several other forms they might take to save someone, right down to "if they need a common person to be saved, then i will appear in the form of a common person." now, buddhism has been soteriological from the start (it's all about emancipation from the wheel of rebirth after all) but that sutra passage only really served to highlight the major message of the entire sutra: the use of skillful means.

so to me this means buddhism accepts contexts. it doesn't require you to do 180,000 prostrations, it doesn't require you to be a perfect peerless meditative god, it doesn't require you anything that you cannot do at all. it doesn't matter: you will become a buddha all the same. that last bit makes it even better: since in buddhism emancipation means becoming a buddha, when sakyamuni "saves" you he only really supercharges your enlightenment so you can get to it easier, or if another buddha saves you (like amitabha) he whisks you off to his pure land sukhavati so that you can focus a thousand kalpas on just enlightenment without having to be hungry, thirsty, or oppressed.

the majority buddhism in my country is mahayana--it used to be some form of esoteric buddhism during the classical period but that has long since vanished away. though the fact that there has been avalokitesvara images found somewhere in batangas makes it a very spiritual thought to become a buddhist in a country that has partial buddhist roots.

it's mahayana because the buddhism that was brought back here during/after colonization was chinese buddhism. which is dominated by amitabha/pure land buddhism. now one of the most important deities/bodhisattvas in chinese buddhism is guanyin 觀音 (bodhisattva of compassion, who is a strange sinicized version of avalokitesvara). you'll still find her statues in the philippines, especially in parts most concentrated with chinese immmigrants. in one corner of binondo you will see a street shrine with guanyin, mother mary, and jesus christ beside each other, and with passersby offering incense to all three of them.

so since guanyin (who, by the way, is sometimes syncretized to essentially be "chinese mama mary" because religion in religious countries is very bumfuck evades taxonomy) is the most popular bodhisattva in the PH, when tibetan lamas arrived here to teach vajrayana, they adapted a lot of chenrezig rituals even though chenrezig isn't really overtly huge in tibetan buddhism. so now when you go to vajrayana pujas in manila, they almost always have some semblance of chenrezig invocation, and its common to have chenrezig pujas.

another upaya-kaushalya thing i noticed is that buddhism doesn't really do like mass every sunday. but since filipinos have been doing sunday mass for around 300 years now they adapted and now we have sunday pujas because the common filipino expects some sort of religious commitment on sunday

i think buddhism could be a huge boon to socialist movements. cutting through the ego, emphasis on emptiness (that is, nothing has inherent nature, which is essentially mystical materialism), and an emphasis on a sort of helping each other to gain merit would really benefit everyone. especially since unlike christianity they don't force other local religions or local people to change for them, but rather, they retrofit themselves into the local space, adopting the principle of skillful means to help everyone realize their buddhahood.

you can hardly believe it; you’re buzzing with nerves. tonight, your boyfriend is finally meeting your parents to ask for your hand in marriage.

it feels surreal, you never thought you'd see the day. on jeongguk time, one day is an entire year. after four (and very rewarding, of course,) years of dating, this is nothing short of a miracle.

you can't say it's been easy. dating someone outside of your culture has been.. a whirlwind, to say the least. some jokes would get lost in translation, traditions needed to be learned, mannerisms getting used to..

but it didn't matter when it came to jeongguk. nothing mattered when it came to him. you were willing to learn the entire history of korea, if need be. he wouldn't even have to ask you to, the very prospect of being able to understand him wholly burned you blue. you knew there was only so much you can learn about a person outside of their culture, their heritage, their roots.. you wanted to know him inside out.

in fact, you would crawl into his skin if physically possible. but that's besides the point.

as for your parents, they were on the fence at first, but they came around. you knew they were only looking out for you; in the best way they knew how to.

when you hear the doorbell ring, you jolt. seated on your vanity chair, you take one last look at your reflection.

your hair is done up, simple makeup enhancing your features and beautiful jewelry adorning your body.

and of course, the star of the show, your dress.

a certain.. custom in turkey.

you add salt instead of sugar to the coffee of the suitor who visits your home to ask for your hand. it's a custom that's been carried on for centuries, the bride-to-be and her parents being in on it.

the act of drinking the salted-coffee demonstrates the groom’s patience, tolerance, and willingness to endure challenges in the marriage.

failing to drink the coffee or reacting negatively however, might be seen as a lack of patience or commitment. the bride’s family could take note of his reaction as a sign of his personality, or how he might handle challenges in marriage.

you would be lying if you said you weren't a little worried. your parents were a wild card.

so when you get up to obey your father when he tells you to make them coffee, you brace yourself.

buzzing with anticipation, you prepare 4 cups of coffee.

sugar, sugar, sugar, salt.

you just hope he doesn't get mad. oh god, what if he spits it out in front of your parents? that'll be a hard one to come back from. you're not as fickle, but your dad will surely lose all respect for him.

slowly coming out of the kitchen, tray in hand, you walk back over to the living room.

you lean to place the tray down, locking eyes with jeongguk, who sits right in front of you.

"thank you, love," he coos with adoration, immediately getting up to take the tray from your hands and help you set it down.

you smile lovingly in return, taking your seat on the opposite site.

and you watch in anticipation.

a few minutes pass, and nothing happens. you breathe in, out.

jeongguk makes small talk with your mother, slowly bringing the small porcelain cup to his lips. finally, show time.

he takes a sip.

gaze catching yours; he stares directly at you.

one second, two seconds pass..

and then he gulps.

tight smile plastered across his face, he shifts his focus back to your mother, picking up their conversation. as if nothing happened.

did he just..

in awe, you keep watching him. surely he has to give some sort of reaction? you wouldn't blame him; god knows you would have thrown up had it been you!

but nothing.

minute after the next, he drinks more and more, finally finishing his cup and placing it on the coffee table in front of you.

no more tricks up your sleeve, you finally focus on the conversation unfolding in front of you.

and the night went on.

"it was so nice meeting you, mom and dad. i look forward to planning the engagement," jeongguk says, the evening finally coming to end.

he continues, "and thank you darling, for the delicious coffee. bless your delicate hands."

with a subtle smirk only you notice, he takes a hold of your hand and brings it up to his lips, to kiss.

"you look beautiful, by the way," he whispers in your ear.

your parents bid him goodbye, closing the door after him.

"i'm impressed," your dad starts. "i didn't think korean boy had it in him, to be honest with you," he says with an amused chuckle.

"you've gotta give it to the kid. when i tried that with your father, the poor guy's face turned beet red! killed us all of laughter," your mother adds, reminiscing. "a real catch you got there."

"come on now, it wasn't that bad.." your dad says with a roll of his eyes, huffing in disbelief.

"you pushed that cup so far away from you it almost fell off the coffee table! yeah, right."

as your parents bicker back and forth, you retreat to your room with a besotted smile. you can't believe he did it either.

♡ Standing slightly off to the side in the House of Lamentation, fiddling with the hem of your shirt. Memories of your time in the human world before devildom whirling and spinning about what happened at the mall this evening.

♡ A shirt that caught your way didn’t make it into your purchase, the saleslady shaking her head and not so subtly saying your frame was ‘distracting’, ‘loud’ for the shirt style, herding your to a different isle of clothes.

♡ It wasn’t a first that you were talked to like that but this time, the words landed a little too wrong and too strong to just brush off

♡ Mammon, pacing back and forth, counting Grimm in his hands, almost bumps into you. "Oi! Watch it, Human! You're gonna make me drop my—" He stops mid-sentence, glancing at your expression. His expression falters just a touch. He sees the way your shoulders are hunched, the way your eyes avoiding looking up. Something in your downcast posture stops him short of making any jokes or teasings.

♡ He might clear his throat, shifting his weight awkwardly. "Uh, hey. You alright? You lookin' kinda… wilted." He scratches the back of his neck, suddenly less sure of himself.

♡ Before you can finish telling him what happened in the dressing room, Mammon would actually frown. "Who said somethin' to ya?  Who? Lemme at 'em!" His impulsive instincts, however surprisingly uou tamed down some time ago, would flare up. “Ya know more than damn well I can take *anybody* on! Tell me!” He wouldn't understand the nuance of body image insecurities right away (he *is* perfect) but he would understand someone being unnecessarily ugly to his human.

♡ All his grumbling and huffing would cease when he sees how bad you just want to fade away. Coming closer, his arms would pull you closer, shielding you from sight of other eyes. "Look, uh… don't listen to 'em, alright? Demons are just… demons."

♡ Leviathan’s room was dimly lit, the glow of multiple screens casting an eerie blue light across the floor filled with pillows, snacks and the such. You had sought him out, hoping that the familiar chaos of his space might distract you from the turmoil in your head. You slump onto his beanbag chair, trying to appear casual as you watch him intensely focused on a new MMORPG on his main screen. His fingers danced across the keyboard, commands firing off in rapid succession, his brow furrowed in concentration.

♡ Leviathan’s senses were sharper than they seemed. He might be socially awkward in the real world, but he was surprisingly attuned to shifts in mood, especially amongst those he considered his comrades – and you were definitely in his ‘party’.

♡ “Oi,” he grunts, without taking his eyes off the screen, “ I can hear you sighing over the music and it's making it hard to enjoy the screams of these newbies. You’re… radiating gloom. Like a… a debuff aura. Is it…" He repeatedly hit the spacebar, "is it Diavolo again? Did he make you participate in some… cringe human tradition again?”

♡ You shake your head, managing a weak smile. “No, nothing like that. Just… stuff.” You try to brush it off, but Leviathan, surprisingly, presses a bit further, though still glued to his game.

♡ “’Stuff’ is vague. Vague is… inefficient.” He pauses, fingers still flying. "Someone bothered you?"

♡ You sigh. "Yeah… kind of. Someone… someone at the mall said some really rude things about… well, about my…” you gesture vaguely at your chest, his eyes staring at you from the reflection of the PCs.

♡ Leviathan finally pauses his game, his avatar momentarily frozen mid-battle, much to the potential dismay of his online teammates. He swivels his chair to face you, eyes widened.

♡ Once everything was ranted out, Leviathan stares blankly for a moment, then his face scrunches up in confusion, and then, surprisingly, indignation. “Distracting? Distracting how?" He gets up abruptly, pacing in his small space, “It's a SHIRT!" He scoffs, "Distracting?!"

♡ "Distracting is-is when a poorly designed UI element obscures vital information on the screen. THAT would make sense. And even then, just that’s bad game design, AND still… not your fault!”

♡ “Listen,” he says, turning back to you, his voice surprisingly earnest, “Don’t listen to those… those low-level losers. They’re just jealous because your… your character is clearly a… a unique, high-stat build. Everyone else is just… generic.”

♡ He fumbles around his desk, pushing aside stacks of manga, finally retrieving a slightly dusty, but clearly treasured, limited edition anime figurine. He holds it out to you. "Aha!"

♡ “See?” He points at the exaggerated curves of the figure. “This… this is art! Designed with… with emphasis! It’s… it’s beautiful! Like… like you! In a… in a non-dull, totally meta way!"

♡ "She's cool, you're cooler." He propped her on your knee, patting your leg in what he hopes is comfort.

♡ Beelzebub was happily munching on a mountain of spiced chicken wings, his movements focused and economical. You watched him, a small smile playing on your lips. It was… endearing, in a strange way, to see him so utterly absorbed in his food.

♡ You were in the kitchen with him because… well, you just enjoyed being around him. Even if most of his attention was usually on whatever edible item was nearest. Today, though, you felt more awkward than usual. You’d deliberately chosen the baggiest sweater you could find this morning, hoping to minimize… everything.

♡ Beel glanced up from his wings, noticing you properly for the first time. He blinked slowly, his usual calm gaze settling on you. “Hey?” he rumbled, his voice slightly muffled by food. “You’re… wearing a big sweater.” You look down, fidgeting with the loose fabric. “Yeah, um, just… comfortable.”

♡ He tilted his head, his brow furrowing slightly. “Comfortable? It’s… warm in here.” He gestured around the kitchen, which, granted, was warmer than usual thanks to the earlier active stove. “Right, well, extra… comfortable,” you inhale, feeling increasingly foolish.

♡ Beel watched you for a moment longer, then shrugged. He shrugged, returning to his wings. “If you’re comfortable.” He paused, then added, almost as an afterthought, “Are you… cold?” “No!” you said quickly, perhaps too quickly. “I’m… perfectly fine.”

♡ He seemed to sense something was off. He put down his wing, wiping his hands on a napkin with a slightly more deliberate motion than usual. He turned fully to face you, “Is something… on your mind?”

♡ You looked down, avoiding his gaze. “It’s nothing, Beel. Really.” He took a step closer, his presence filling the space, in a grounding manner. “You’re… hiding.” He stated it simply, matter-of-factly.

♡ His steady gaze made the denial die in your throat. Brewing tea and scooting his stool closer to your frame, he listened to all the worries that bloomed in the back of your head since you woke up that morning.

♡ A look of understanding took over in his eyes, slowly, like the sunrise. He looked down at your chest, then back up at your face, his gaze softening. He still didn’t quite get it, not in the way someone who’d experienced that kind of insecurity would, but he was trying. “People… don’t like… your body?” he asked, his voice incredulous. It was like he was genuinely struggling to comprehend such a concept. "But nothing is wrong with you."

♡ “Your body… is… good. It’s… soft. Warm. It… smells nice.” He leaned in slightly, "It keeps you warm...and And… I like… all of you," He lowered his head slightly, his forehead resting against yours. “Don’t… hide from me, alright?” he murmured. “I… like to see you. All of you.”

Might be a tangent but Genuinely i don't get why some characters have the nationalities that they do. [ not including charlie ]

Like, i don't understand why they made alastor creole because 1. White people can be allowed to practice voodoo as long as it's approved by someone who already practices it, and 2. It just makes so much of his whole deal with rosie in that one leak even more offensive than before he was said to be creole.

Same goes for nifty because she does not give any hints of being japanese???? Characters like husk and angel dust i can at least slightly excuse because they have SOME hints like the voice actor in the case of husk and one of angel's outfits in his case. Vaggie feels like a gray area because idk if the exorcists were made by adam or are human souls who joined the exorcist army so i don't have a clear opinion on her yet. And even with the villains only velvette is the one with a clear hint at how she probably looked as a human. Vox has no hints cuz he's a literal tv and valentino fluxuates his accent so much it's hard for me to tell if he's actually hispanic or if he's faking the accent.

It just feels like they could have either kept their nationalities a surprise for when we do see how they looked as a human through a backstory, or could have just changed half of them????

The funny thing about Niffty is that the Spindlehorse crew changed her skin. Originally it was tanish light yellow to completely white. Like you easily mistake Niffty as Charlie’s secret sister.

In real time, I’m now noticing they somewhat changed the color of her eye and her dress. Vaggie is supposed to be salvadoran like Vivziepop. Take that information as you will. Wouldn’t be surprised if she changed it.

Valentino is supposed to be Hispanic, as funny as the different accents are. He speaks Spanish here and there in the show and no it’s not fake 😂. Richard Horvitz’s voice directing Joel especially was booty cheeks.

Regarding Vox, the closest thing we know is that he was a cult leader during his time as a human and he has the worst fashion sense like the rest of the main cast.

I called the cancel our scheduled mow times after our first and only apt with a lawn care company because the 100° days were over and we probably won’t get heat stroke using the push mower now and they said ok all good but we’ll call to check in for the fall clean up and I was like: cool. (Probably won’t need that since we like to keep a lot of it ‘wild’ for critters but ok.) I also said I was ready to pay for the previous mow they did but he said it wasn’t in the system yet and they’ll send it to me. So, yesterday they showed up and… mowed the lawn? I was not up for talking to people face to face so I tried calling the office and no one picked up because it looks like it’s maybe just those two guys. 🥲

The question is: What is more likely, they misunderstood me even though it seemed super clear and I need to call and confirm it’s canceled? They’re pulling one of those scam things where they keep showing up to do the thing so they can demand payment? They thought I meant after this week’s mow? Or they thought they were being nice and doing the one last mow before leaving us alone with our grass but now I have to pay them $160??
