#cats #I especially like the last one where he just has one single paw poking out of that box for some reason lol #I still have costumes to post and like a billion other things.... grr... constantly failing at staying active on social media aughh #I think because currently my Main Focus is on trying to get my game done and stuff.. which basically just means sitting and writing all day #so there's not much to post about. Though I know the Good At Social Media thing to do would be to post about the #writing and share progress and talk about the game and characters or whatever to try to build interest or something but that is SOOO weird #to me.. I could maybe get it if it was like a tiny tiny discord groupchat of playtesters with like 5 people in #it.. But something about talking openly about things before they happen is weird to me?? Like presumptuous feeling or something #''oooo guess whats gonna happen LATER!!!'' like.. how do you know.. what if it doesnt. what if you dont finish it. what if its not the way #you think it's going to be. what if something changes. etc. Like I literally avoid movie trailers and game trailers for the same reason ghj #Even if it's not ME doing it it just feels... weird.. Maybe it has to do with my OCD and how I just don't like talking about ''future''#things in Certain Terms. Like if I was going to say ''Oh yeah sure. come over to my house in a few months''. I would have to follow it up #with like ''HOPEFULLY you can come over to my house in a few months'' or 'They'll come over in a few months MOST LIKELY''. Because just #stating that something will happen matter of factly takes for granted like.. what if somehting horrible happens and I DONT have a house #in a few months? or what if something bad happens to me. or to the person coming over? I can't ever DEFINITELY say with 100% certainty #that one could ACTUALLY come to my house in a few months. anything could change. So I have to allot for that in my phrasing. hbjjkn #There are a lot of situations where you're expected to just Assume Things but for some reason that bothers me. My brain literally does not #even Assume the most basic things.. like how do *I* know that just because it's someones birthday that they want to be wished a happy #birthday? what if they dont? everyone is different and has different preferences. I should check with them first. or wait until they public #ly announce that theyre accepting birthday wishes. I have to allot for all 5034859069 rare possibilities at any given time and never take #anything for certain. etc. ghjbjhbh.... ANYWAY.. I have been feeling a bit sick lately as usual.. but still slowly making progress on some #things. Moslty I need to edit costume photos. make sculptures. and work on the game. Going back reading some of the old writing from like #2018 and suprisingly I don't have to change that much of it? In fact I like it mostly. so that's good. I would be very interested if I were #playing the game myself. Though that doesnt mean much since my tastes are so niche lol..#Still really want to clear some of my million tumblr drafts as well... alas and aughh and ooughh and so on and so forth. Between all of my #evil appointments other such things...why cant I have one billion dollar to retire into relaxed hermit artist life of no stressors.. bleas

#man i dont even have the energy to be mad. im just tired #like. dont u love it when your parents exhibit symptoms of ADHD and your sibling is diagnosed with a learning disability #and instead of thinking oh shit what if the other one has smth too. they subject you to The Horrors #i cant bring myself to hate my parents. but im tired of feeling obligated to defend them when the thing they think is working #isnt actually working and ive just found other ways to cope to avoid any sort of conflict. like lying and stealing. lol #if someone took me aside and said 'hey so your brain doesnt make as much dopamine as usual and its not a bad thing it just means you #need external stimulation and reward system to function and youre not actually secretly fucked up or lazy' as a kid #im pretty sure i wouldnt be here rn with half the problems i already have. unfortunately getting diagnosed late means u dont have a teacher #to back you up at a parent teacher conference that forces your parents to take this shit seriously instead of ignoring it hoping itll #go away on its own. but hey what do i know i have squirrel ipad baby disease. what do i know about my own symptoms #AND. AND i think im allowd to be mad bc ive been doing my own research on this for years before and after diagnosis #theyve been putting me thru the WORST parenting techniques on earth. which they could have corrected at anytime but they were #comfortable thinking they were doing it right and didnt bother to check if they were or werent fucking up their kid in the long run #and refusing to acknowledge it. i just!! they just decided one day hey lets make babies!! and just looked at books on how to make #a human being survive as long as possible!!! what the fuck!!!!#im sorry for putting this on ppls dashes but i am. so tired. of bottling this up. and im not looking for sympathy or anything i just need #to scream and clench my fists to SOMEONE about it because theyre not gonna take this well up the ass. sigh #yapping #vent

well i've caught up on the double. which means i am depressed!!!! at least [redacted]'s death scene was homoerotic. (me fully weeping: at least this is being directly paralleled with a het lovers death scene. at least [other stuff i am redacting for spoilers but just trust me bro].) anyway to pass the time until 29 drops does anyone want to help me with a reference post i'm writing about the names of jiang li's family members? let's play a game called Name That Hanzi! wherein i give you an image of some hanzi and you give me text versions that i can copy and paste. i did my best but i hit a wall on this one. here's the image:

so far i've got 姜若雨 for jiang ruoyu on the left, but i'm not confident about those second and third characters (like those strokes are not even all in the right direction. but maybe it's the script?). and on the right we have 字 (zi, courtesy name), SOME CHARACTER THAT HAS STYMIED ME (help me studio audience), and 梨 (li).

(also sidenote is it just me who totally missed that she has a courtesy name? and that apparently it's li that is her courtesy name, and it's the other name, ruoyo, that no one ever uses? also sidenote of the sidenote the ruo character is the same one in her sister ruoyao's name. so maybe they have a generational name? their dad and his brothers all share a character as well (yuan, 元). their little brother bingji doesn't have ruo in his name though. so maybe not.)

#if viki had learn mode on for the double i would be unstoppable. UNSTOPPABLE #but i'm back to my old methods of like. brute force looking up radicals until i find one that looks kind of similar #i have [checks notes] 19 other questions i need to answer before this reference post will be complete but unfortunately #none of the others lend themselves well to Name That Hanzi so i don't know if it would be effective to ask for help with them #maybe if i can find a shot of someone saying whatever jiang yuanbai's court official title is i can find the chinese subs for it #and play name that hanzi. but also usually if i can find the chinese subs i can figure it out myself. it's just a question of finding #a timestamp and then actually having access to chinese subs for that episode. which so far i only know how to find for #episodes 1-3. so those are my two problems at the moment. not having timestamps or chinese subs #i could solve the timestamp problem if i did a rewatch lol but who has the time??? (pun unintended)#i might rewatch the first like 4 or 5 episodes though. because redacted's death was so depressing. i need a chaser #not that episodes 1-5 aren't also depressing. ugh. probably a bad plan then lol #the double #my posts

okay but lets be very serious here right now, when they release a statement what exactly is that gonna change? don admitted to him and lex having intercourse (which shows that he coerced her) and matt and ryans texts show that the situation was handled VERY poorly. an apology isnt enough for the trauma they both have caused

Honestly what I now desperately need is Stolas talking to Asmodeus and/or Fizzie and as a result making Stolas take a good hard look at how he himself has treated Blitzø and every other imp he’s ever dealt with

#ramblings #there was no comment abt me needing to brush/ floss more ??? i was really anticipating one ???????#the hygienist DID suggest i spend more time brushing my front teeth but thats not like. a blunt `brush more`. oh i've been meaning to share. a while back i was gifted a set of bootleg death note playing cards the person said he found at a stall at his country fair. i think this is fucking hilarious. they're a solid mix of official renders and stolen fanart, and these are literally the only two misa's in the entire deck. the same art but a different bg. if anyone knows sources for the art here, and/or wants to see the entire deck to source more of the fanart, that'd be really fun, but otherwise, look at my funny little bootleg item.

i got the whole pile of clothes i ordered the other day today bc i paid a little extra for faster shipping bc i’ll be adding flourishes to some of it & need all the time in the world except apparently the website has gone the route of hiding when something is final sale (i CHECKED in the checkout!! before i bought everything!!) and half the stuff i ordered isn’t returnable!! lol!!!!

#i need someone to encourage me to call and complain on friday bc maybe i can make them let me return things #because it really doesn’t say ANYWHERE if it’s final sale!!! i went & looked at the listing for one of the things i bought bc i was #considering getting a size up & neither in the item page NOR in the cart does it say final sale. because i just checked again #i would not have purchased almost any of this if i knew it was final sale!!!!!#the other annoying thing is i ordered three (3) pairs of neon blue pants & one pair pink (wanted color pop)#and then a couple pairs of black just for fun & of course only the black ones fit ok #can’t wear all black to a WEDDING !!!#the other problem is i can get one of the blue pairs a size up (velvet also) but i’ll probably have to hem them… and do i need another thing #to alter in these clothes in less than a month ??? but one of the black pairs is also the right length. lol #MUCH TO THINK ABOUT #chatpost #the blazer i bought also has no buttons & i have to decide if i want to not care about that or if i want the Perfect blazer before i spend #a ton of time making it into a beautiful sequin mess. like you want it to be a good base first right #but i don’t have any TIME

#ive been doing scheduling lately and i left the week commencing 8th in a 90% complete state #all it needed was reviewing and publishing #get a message from someone that NEXT weeks schedule isnt even available #i check and some unpublished it and left it that way #so good chance no one whos working tomorrow even knows it lol #absolutely refusing to do any real work on it while im on HOLIDAY.#besides republishing next week. ill give them that.
