maybe i'm just stupid and they explained this (or also i havent gotten past ep10 for sophomore year and maybe they'll clear it up later) BUT why was aelwyn imprisoned by angwyn when he was so adamant that "a member of this family cannot be taken into custody"? what was the switchup between him being pissed at adaine for catching aelwyn, to him torturing his eldest daughter for 5 months?

i think it's super interesting (and really funny) how. while all other accounts about the sinners describe as these absolutely terrifying otherwordly harbingers of destruction. almost every first hand account is so painfully normal and chill ;; like skirk treats and talks about surtalogi as if he's. a bit annoying & obnoxious to her. and even though albedo describes rhine as 'cold and strict...,' it isn't exactly a sin to not be optimistic and easygoing- plus alice seems fond of her (considering. everything) and her writing in the new hexenbook is. incredibly not what you'd expect with how she's reputated

How do I express that this character is not “me fr.” His actions are not “RELATEABLE”. How do I express that when I say that this character has committed atrocities, I don’t mean it in a cute or quirky or funny way. How can I express that this character is legitimately a pretty bad person and happens to also be morally complex but for the love of god his actions are meant to be UGLY goddammit

I'd rather have 1 million poorly handled depictions of sensitive topics than have even 1 person be forced to reveal their deeply personal trauma to get 'approval' to write about it. btw
