revisiting crassus, clodius, and the bona dea scandal! but this time with a new composition and a limited color palette

originally when I drew the first version of this idea, it was back when I thought that crassus would be a week long fixation at most (lmao), and instead he just. took up permanent residence in my mind. it seemed like a fun thing to go back to an earlier idea and see what changed now that I've spent a lot more time with everyone involved in this era!

also the way these two interlocked politically. I am. biting into it.

On the other hand, I'm baffled by the amount of almost outraged people saying 'I didn't think Biohazard was that aggressive!!!!! 😭😡'. Sorry, when did I ever say he wasn't? I've mentioned before that he's an unstable, aggressive, unhinged, screwed up robot with sadistic tendencies who enjoys tormenting yn sometimes. None of this should have been surprising, and it honestly makes me feel bad that so many are so disappointed for that reason. Biohazard is not easy to deal with and will not make things easy, even if his intentions are not always to cause harm, he just can't help himself. He's not evil or ruthless, he just doesn't know how to control himself. And he doesn't trust people. That's just the story.

I loved these episodes and think Matoba throwing a chair is amazing, he was so confident about it but what if he'd been wrong? I made a silly comic in my sketchbook and deciding to fix it up to share^^

Seriously, though, I love how lovely Looks to the Moon looks. She's nice to draw and so cute in most other fanart I've seen; you can definitely expect more art of her on this blog!

I also enjoy how this sketch turned out! After my recent doe drawing, I want to experiment with using hatching to convey depth in conjunction with regular shadows. For me, it's easier to do traditionally right now, but I'm curious to see how it may evolve!
