idk if its my oculus not being updated but ttiv was even more of a broken mess than usual. its also just very ugly overall.. ive been too nice to this game, but its ass. even the redeeming quality stuff like the addition of fizzball sucks because whys max a catcher, why is there a physical point system. it should just be some blokes breaking beer cans without any safety measures, you know.. (am i making sense? its just like they took away the essence of the og stuff. youre meant to do this in a parking lot or in an empty yard and get soaked in beer and then go to the ER)

and omg the tunnel levels are sooo ugly even though i usually like oldschool looking 3d games with weird looking patterns on walls and stuff (think early 3d mmo worlds) but this is just plain ugly with the cave looking space covered in ugly patterned wrap. makes 0 sense. either make it a rocky cave or a room, or make the ceiling like a circus chapiteau or something matching the vibe. also does it like go underwater or something?? and the music! i didnt wanna hate it cause its actually from jurgens club but it sounds so annoying here idk. i just dont like that track in general but putting it here and making it so repetitive instead of making a new track was a weird move

awful gameplay aside (good luck grabbing stuff and pulling yourself up) it also doesnt really have anything to do with sam and max aside from a few things like fizzball, some of the shooting and games referencing stuff like the dunk the beast one. change the characters and it could be any random game ever for any franchise

plus theyre very mean i know i know you can say max is jealous but its dumb to always just say that. oh yeah hes mean because of it! okay i dont wanna say that anymore. i just want him gone (and his voice is somehow so much more annoying even though he sounds the same as in the trilogy idk. like the voice match is great if its not the same guy, but theories aside)

Yeah! I love adding little unnecessary details to things. I was using another pipboy screen replacer for a long time that was still matte like the vanilla pipboy, but I wanted something with normal/spec maps to make it extra thrashed. I know it's not really realistic, CRT glass is far too thick to crack like that, but ah well.
