10 Self-Love Things

because it's sunny outside, I feel happy and self-love is good sometimes

I love my eyes. Even when dysphoria was hitting me like a truck, my eyes were the part of me I was never able to hate. They have a really clear and piercing green-blue color and when you look up really close, they have a bit of brown-yellow-orange (?) around the pupil. I'm starting to learn a little bit of makeup to highlight them even more.

I love my ability to be introspective. A lot of things are somewhat difficult to grasp for me, especially my emotions and those of others. This capacity for deep introspection and just deconstructing/analyzing myself and the world around is what helped me the most to stay in tune with the people around me growing up. I don't know where I would be if not for that.

I love my legs. I never thought I would be a "leg person" cause I had a lot of problem with that while growing up but, I do love my legs. I like their shape, the curve of my calves, the thickness of my thighs, my knees scarred from falling on them so much as a child, the few scattered moles there. I love that these legs allow me to walk because I like walking more than I like taking public transportation, and how they ache slightly at the end of a long walk in the woods. I love how they look long and graceful when I'm wearing heels but still chunky and androgynous when I'm wearing flats.

I love my fashion style. It was a long way to get where I am now, but it was worth it ! I'm still slowly hauling my whole wardrobe, donating what I don't wear anymore to the queer center's free shop and 95% of what I buy now is from second hand, thrift or clearance stores. I like neutral tones, like beige, cream and brown, associated with either pastel or jewel tones. I like flowy and comfy clothes, culotte pants and light blouses. I like tight but soft sweaters, even more if they have shoulders or back openings.

I love my beard. It's quite funny cause before starting testosterone, I was never that fond of facial hair and all, until I got my very own beard and gain what seemed to be 5 points in charisma. Also, having facial hair is a great help for my whole genderfuckery thing, since it breaks the usual feminine style I have with something more commonly "masculine". I need to get more informations on how to trim it and take care of it correctly however 🤔

I love my writing style. It's something I worked a lot on and I think I deserve to be proud of it. English isn't my native language and writing in English was a real challenge at first, but I'm now at almost 3 years of practice and things are going well ! I'm always happy when I receive comment on my style, like my use of metaphors, the more or less subtle poetic feelings I try to weave through the text or that my pacing is good. It always makes me really happy.

I love my imagination. "Damn your BRAIN" has to be one of my favorite things to hear when I share my brain vomit about characters, situations or general ideas about something. I love making people full of awe with how my brain work and produce things, particularly when it comes to my OCs, since I really love dearly all of my OCs... despite having quite a lot of them.

I love my scars. This is quite recent since I'm talking about my top surgery scars but damn it's so beautiful. I'm literally obsessed with it and I don't count the number of time mom walked on me admiring my torso in the bathroom's mirror. I love how they feel under my fingertips, slightly bumpy and gnarled like vines where where they thickened. I love seeing the change in color, how they were so brightly red and how it's now fading in a soft dust rose and in one year or two, how it will be white and less noticeable but still here, always here. There is something really comforting in the simple gesture of oiling it morning and evening, massaging it tenderly, seeing them and think "this is my chest".

I love my singing voice. Which can be quite surprising cause I can't sing for shit, like, I'm incapable of not sounding false (not for lack of trying). But I like humming little little melodies and songs, humming under my breath along to songs I love even though I only know half the words. I love my singing voice, because it always sounds more emotional than I usually do.

I love my hair. It was a bit hard for me to start losing so much of it when I started testosterone and when I got my burnout but I'm making them grow again and they're now a lot more healthy. I have really thick and heavy hair, and a lot of it. I hope I'll be able to reach my growth goal this year cause after that, I'll dye them again. I want to make an underlight, tho I still don't know if I should try platinum at least once or stay on the either wine red or caramel gradient 🤔.

You lay slouching against the white bed sheets, cocooned in light green blankets. Your fingers plucked another dark green tissue from the bedside tan table, as you blew your nose with a sniffle. Sliding off the twin bed, you peeled back the covers, revealing white socks gliding over the grey carpet. Frustration set in you as you tossed yet another tissue into the overflowing mint green bin, rolling your brown eyes, and pursing your lips.

A quick hand wash in the compact bathroom, and you returned to your bed, surrounded by the eggshell white cinder block walls in the average-sized dorm room, The walls were adorned with your own artwork, and a cherished family photo. Just then, a few gentle knocks on the door pulled your attention.

"Who's there?" you asked, you weren’t in the mood for company right now.

You were an art major and college student at Bringston University, an HBCU in Atlanta.

You were dedicated to your studies and held the position of club president in the art club.

Your strict academic schedule and demanding leadership role left you with little time to rest. Unfortunately, you fell ill and were forced to spend your summer cooped up alone in your dorm room, unable to enjoy the sunny Atlanta weather. Your hard work and dedication have taken a toll on your health.

You had been looking forward to the summer break to relax and recharge, but your plans were ruined by the cold. You missed your family and friends, who were all back home, and wished you could be there too.

Despite feeling sick, you had still managed to inform your boyfriend, Orlando about your not being able to make it for their date tonight. Although he empathized with your condition, he was still eager to spend some quality time with you. You appreciated your boyfriend's concern.

During your art class, the two college students crossed paths and soon became partners on a collaborative project. It was then that he witnessed your natural artistic talent, admiring every stroke and technique you used.

The two of you worked together, you found it endearing that he took such care in learning how to handle a paintbrush. Your partnership blossomed into a friendship, with you cheering him on at his baseball games and him buying your art supplies when you lost them.

Eventually, your friendship evolved into a romantic relationship and he proved to be an exceptional boyfriend. Attentive to every detail, he never missed a beat when it came to you.

You couldn't help but smile at the sweet gesture as you closed the door behind him.

"Hey, baby," Orlando greeted you with a gentle kiss on your forehead, "I brought you some soup, medicine, and your favorite snacks, your favorite movies. A bouquet of red roses to cheer you up."

"Orlando, Thank you. You're the best." Your eyes glinted with gratitude as you took the bag and bouquet from him, carefully placing it next to the nightstand while putting the flowers in the purple vase. He wrapped his arms around your waist, hugging her from behind. You felt your heart fill with affection for him as your cheeks grew hot.

"How are you feeling Y/N?" Orlando asked in a gentle tone, as he leaned in and rested his chin on your shoulder. His thumb gently rubbed over your stomach, hoping that his presence could bring some good to the summer that had been tough for you.

"Still pretty crappy, this cold won't go away but don't you have a baseball season this summer? I hope that I didn't get in the way of your games," you spoke in a gentle tone, shaking your head as you looked at him.

Faced you forward to meet your gaze. He locked eyes with you, his tender touch causing her chest to flutter with nerves. He didn't want you to think he didn't care about your well-being.

"I only care about being with you this summer. You've been overworking yourself and it pains me to see you like this. I'll skip another season." he mentioned softly, his thumb swiped over your cheek.

"Let me take care of you baby," Orlando said in a sultry voice, his gaze fixated on your. He nibbled on his lower lip, as if contemplating the next move.

Your heart raced as you soaked his words, understanding both senses but feeling unprepared for what he had planned. He leaned in for a kiss, but she quickly turned your head, redirecting his lips to your cheek. "I don't want you to get sick," you pouted.

"Let's wait until I get better." you added, you didn't want to risk his health for momentary pleasure.

Orlando let out a contented hum and turned his attention to your bottom lip. After a brief moment, he looked back into your eyes and uttered, "One of the many things I love about you." He then leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on your cheek.

You knew you were lucky to have someone like him in her life and so was he. The two of you sat on your bed, watching movies and enjoying the soup and snacks, you felt your cold slowly start to fade away. But more than that, you felt the warmth and comfort of your boyfriend's love.

The night sky crept up on them faster than anticipated, but with the help of medication, a steaming bowl of soup, and some cough drops, your cold went away.

Orlando's back leaned against the light green plush pillows with your back nestled against his chest and he gently laid his chin on top of your head while he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you closer to him. "Feeling better?" he asked, his voice low and soothing.

You nodded, snuggling further into his embrace. "Yup, thanks to you," you replied, your voice still a bit hoarse.

Orlando chuckled. "I'm just glad I could help." They lay there in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company. The only sound in the room was the soft hum of the air conditioner.

Orlando placed a gentle kiss on your cheek and used his index finger to lift your chin. "Now that you're feeling better, can I take care of you?" He whispered in a low tone. You flushed and nodded, "Yes, of course, baby."

Your lips met in a passionate kiss as you tilted your heads in different directions, exploring each other's mouths with your tongues. You let out a soft moan as the kiss intensified, leaving a trail of saliva between your lips as you parted.

Yoongi on the other hand had no intention of ever letting you in let alone allowing himself to fall in love with you. The weather outside did not match the feeling in the conference room. Outside the window you saw the bright sunny sky, not a cloud in sight. You longed for the warmth to touch your skin. Inside this room you felt cold. The walls were a dark cherry mahogany. A marble sculpture of a horse sat in the corner. You’re sure it cost more than a years worth salary for you. You chewed on your lip, a nervous habit you developed at some point. Everyone was patiently waiting for the same person to arrive so you could finally get this over with. Never would you have imagined you’d be in a position like this. Being married off to a man you’d never met. You knew of him of course. Who didn’t? Min Yoongi was the CEO of one of the largest tech companies in the world. He was the sole heir to a large fortune being that the Min family was one of the most powerful and wealthiest families in all of Asia. He was dangerously handsome with an arrogant attitude. A womanizer who was constantly in the media and not in a positive way. Just a few months ago we was caught on camera being tossed out of a club for punching the bartender. The video showed him staggering around so drunk he could barely stand straight. He shouted some choice words before shoving three random women into the back of his Rolls Royce and having the driver speed off. Of course the poor bartender didn’t even file any charges knowing he’d never win against the Min family power and money.

Shareholders started worrying about Yoongi’s ability to lead the company, some even demanding he step down. People were uncertain if they should invest in a company run by a sloppy drunk with clear emotional baggage. Stocks in Min Enterprises began to plummet which meant the Min family money started to dwindle and only then did they decide it was time to step in. Which is how you ended up here, sitting across from Yoongi’s parents and some of the other higher ranking officials at Min Enterprises. They had come to the conclusion that it was time for Yoongi to settle down. He needed to find a nice wholesome woman who could help him clean up his image, turn his life around, maybe have a future heir and turn himself into a well respected family man. The problem with that was that Yoongi had never lasted more than a couple weeks with any woman since he was about 19. Often going for quick hookups with women he met at clubs or random models he got ahold of that just wanted to use his name to further their career. In his mind it was easier. No strings attached. No chance of falling in love. No heartbreak. Just sex and send them on their way.

You were a simple girl. You didn’t come from money or power. You loved flowers, blue hydrangeas were your favorite. You often enjoyed a mug of warm milk before bed or maybe some chamomile tea if you were feeling adventurous. Most of your clothes were thrifted and definitely not name brands. You’d only ever had one serious boyfriend and less than four flings. You were the exact opposite of Yoongi and the women you often saw him photographed with.

Which is exactly why the Min family thought you were the perfect match to save their wayward son and bring a good reputation back to the Min name. You had no one else to thank but your old college roommate and best friend Jimin. After graduation he moved away but you kept in touch with each other. One day you get a voicemail from your friend asking you to come visit him in Korea. After calling him back and him assuring you the trip was all expenses paid by himself you agreed. Little did you know of the secret motive. Jimin had moved to Seoul after graduation, quickly getting a job at Min Enterprises. He started as just an assistant to Yoongi’s assistant. Over time Jimin was able to work his way up and was now a member of the board of directors and one of Yoongi’s best friends. When Jimin heard of the Min family plan he immediately thought of you and threw your name into the contenders ring as a potential suitor for Yoongi. You had recently complained about wanting to get out of your small town and Jimin recalled several instances where you mentioned your ever failing love life and non existent bank account so what better way to get around that than to marry a handsome young billionaire.

Your thoughts were interrupted when someone cleared their throat. Looking up you were greeted by the handsome face of Kim Seokjin, one of the Min family lawyers. “Can we be expecting Yoongi any time today?”, he asked probably more sarcastically than he had planned. As the elder Mr. Min started reaching for his phone the large double doors swung open and swiftly slammed shut as the man you were all waiting for stomped over and took his seat next to you, clearly agitated at having to be there.

You knew that Yoongi was handsome, most of the world knew that, but seeing him in person was different than any photos you’d ever seen. Soft perfect skin, piercing cat like eyes, silky jet black hair that he had started to let grow out. He was wearing a fitted dark green suit that probably cost more than every piece of clothing you owned. His cologne intoxicating, a mix of cinnamon and vanilla. He smelled like comfort and warmth.

When he realized you were staring at him he looked over at you turning to a face of disgust before shaking his head and turning his attention back to the lawyer, “Jin, can we get this over with? I have more important events to attend to.” You watched the lawyer lay out several sheets of paper in front of the two of you. “Right so these are the basics of the contract. It’s pretty standard. The Min family will release an official statement announcing the marriage of their only son Yoongi and Miss Y/N. The wedding will take place shortly after.” You watched as Jin turned to you placing an additional paper down in front of you and pointing to the stipulations as he read them off, “Y/N you will take the Min last name. You will move into Yoongi’s penthouse. You will agree to attend all social and/or professional functions with Yoongi and occasionally you will have to go alone as the Min representative. You will be given a credit card to make any and all purchases for any thing you need or want. And lastly you will uphold a satisfactory image as to not taint the Min image. Also please be aware that a divorce is not an option and the contract will only become nullified in the event that either Yoongi or Y/N were to pass away leaving the other as a widow.” You nodded in understanding while staring down at the list of demands in front of you. Things could be worse you thought but this still wasn’t ideal, especially not having the option for a divorce.

Jin turned his attention over to Yoongi placing a similar paper down in front of him and going over his stipulations which were much simpler than yours, basically don’t get caught with other women and don’t get drunk in public. You scoffed knowing that he would struggle to uphold his end of the contract. You were blindsided though when Jin read off the final stipulation, “After the wedding Yoongi will make an initial donation in his and Y/N’s name in the amount of $5 million US dollars to ‘Little Rays of Sunshine Orphanage’ in Y/N’s hometown. Then he will make an additional $1 million donation every year thereafter for the duration of the marriage.” Your lips turned up into a small smile. You had jokingly told Jimin that you’d agree to this whole ordeal if Yoongi donated a large amount of money to the orphanage that you grew up in. You didn’t think he’d actually get it done but you were a little relieved knowing that at least going through with this was going to benefit many children in need. You made a mental note to thank Jimin later. Deep in your thoughts you hadn’t noticed how Yoongi had looked over at you with furrowed brows questioning that request.

Jin placed a pen down in front of you before clapping his hands together, “Alright now that that’s out of the way the two of you just need to sign and date here and here and we can all go on with our day.” Trying your best to hide your shaking hand you gently grasped the ivory pen taking a deep breath before signing away your life to this man you met less than 15 minutes ago. Handing the pen over to Yoongi he glared at you before releasing a loud sigh and roughly taking the pen from your grasp signing away his name. Once it was done Mrs. Min began to speak but was cutoff by Yoongi loudly pushing his chair back and slamming the pen down on the glass table, “I have places to be.” And with that he stormed out of the room loudly slamming the door behind him. Mr. And Mrs. Min along with the rest of the elders followed not long after giving you a nod goodbye. You looked up to Jin who gave you an apologetic smile. He patted your hand as he continued to pack up his belongings, “He’ll come around Y/N. Just give it some time. He puts on a tough act but underneath that harsh exterior is really a sweet kid who got lost along the way.” Going into this you thought maybe this could actually work out and the two of you could at the very least pretend to love each other. Now, after meeting for the first time, you’re not so sure.

“Y/N, could you come here?” a familiar velvety voice called out to you while you were busy making bows to decorate gifts for Leviathan's servants with Foras. Looking over in the direction from where the voice came from, you see Glasyalabolas standing in on one of the many door frames leading into the spacious room. He's leaning against it like he's some punk in a teenage drama.

“What? I'm kinda busy here. If you need something, come to me.” you call back and focus back on helping hold down ribbons so Foras can tie them around the gift boxes. In your mind you're counting how much you've done and how many are left to go. The higher demons get more fancy bows and the lesser they are, the less work goes into the packaging. The boxes are all pretty, but you can still tell the difference between a box meant for a duke and one for president.

“No, you have to come to me, Y/N.” Glasyalabolas addresses you again. This time you don't even look at him. There's too much work and not enough time. The gift boxes were supposed to be ready two days ago, but of course angels have other plans.

“It's okay, you can go. I can tie the bows for knights myself. They don't need to be so fancy.” Foras tells you while he's finishing up the last bow meant for a count. You can hear Glasyalabolas hum in approval from the other side of the room.

With a sigh you set down the scissors you've been holding in your hand and take a pincushion off your wrist. Who knows what does the tall demon want and if you'll be even able to return to your work.

“Yes? What is it?” you ask irritated. Originally you only offered to help out with the gifts, but with the weather getting more sunny, you've unofficially taken on Barbatos' position and the stress of it was catching up to you.

“Look up, Y/N.” Glasyalabolas only nods his head upward. You follow his gaze and notice a green branch hanging above the two of you. It takes you a little while to realise what the branch is.

“Oh.” you exclaim and feel your cheeks flush. Does he really mean what you think he is?

When you look back down from the green twig, you jump a little. The tall demon's face is now closer to yours due to him leaning slightly down to match your height. He's watching your face intently for any reason of displeasure or hesitance, but there is none to be found.

The air feels more tense and you decide to close the distance, which is apparently even closer than you thought, between your lips. He tastes of red wine and something sweet. You suddenly don't want him to pull back. There's something addictive about his kiss. Throwing your arms around his neck you deepen the kiss and sneakily his wrap around your waist, lifting you up a little.

Unfortunately he pulls away after a while and looks into your eyes. You're still holding each other when a voice from another door frame sound off: “Aw, that's so adorable! I demand to get a kiss under the mistletoe from Y/N too!” It's Barbatos, who just came inside to help finish the gift boxes. His hair is frozen and his skin is glowing red.

You let go of Glaysalabolas and he reluctantly does the same. You're about to turn around and join the two demons standing around the big table, but the demon next to you catches your arm.

“Happy holidays, my queen.”

Stormlight hc's!

This kinda blends with my general Sunshower hcs too (or maybe I'll just call both ship-versions Stormlight from now on for consistency), buuut either way it's Jay and Sunni:

Sunni first gains awareness of Jay at a science fair during her first year of high school (which would be Jay's second year). He won, but despite losing she was madly impressed.

Similar to Jesse with Cole, she was fine with adoring him from afar (until him coming to school without a scarf rocked her to the core so much that she had to make her existence known to him)

But because Jay's been so busy since, it's been hard for Sunni to intervene and talk to him again. Buuuuut maybe an opportunity is coming up soon.......

Sunni has six siblings, of which she is the middle child of the seven, as opposed to Jay being an only child. Jay loves the idea of a large family (and gets along well with all of Sunni's family) but Sunni always feels eclipsed (ha puns) at her house and likes the peace and attention she gets at Jay's parents house snksnksnk

Sunni initially doesn't wear her glasses around Jay, thinking they make her look less appealing—but oops she forgets to take them off during chemistry one day cuz she has to read something and Jay has a heart attack from how cute she looks

The Blue Ninja was always Sunni's favorite, because his eyes matched Jay's very pretty blue ones <3

...and after finding out that Jay is the Blue Ninja, she starts extra fussing over him over injuries she knows he must've gotten during battle (especially if shown on tv) and also tries to help him better monitor his energy usage (she is actually the one that fully cracks the equation for it)

Their first "date" is at a boardwalk fair down at Ninjago City Docks. Jay finds out the hard way that Sunni is lactose intolerant (Sunni's super-embarassed about it but Jay's just guilty that he bought all that ice cream oh dear—)

Jay starts finding little yellow sticky notes tucked in the pockets/crevices of his gi when on missions, all full of positive reminders and little reinforcements <3

In turn, Sunni gets a bunch of pictures of glorious landscapes slipped into her locker, each of them with a breathtaking visage of the sky in various colors (or just some fascinating weather phenomena Jay may or may not have personally caused for a good photo op)

They only get to date for roughly about a year (aka the brief-ish timeframe in which Jaya is broken up), but it is a darn good year, and they enjoyed the time together too much to not stay as friends T-T)9

You decided that while spending your afternoon with your overworked man, you might as well go out before the end of his shift. Because of that, you spent your late morning shopping to your heart's content and talking with a lot of people who appreciated your positive personality. When the clock was nearing dinner time you walked out of the Chioriya Boutique with a bag, now havier by the new purchase. Observing the nearest area while deciding where to go next you noticed the familiar black and golden dress and matching hat and immediately your eyes searched for the two attendants who never left Navia's side.

Your gaze fell upon your dark blue-haired husband and you marched up towards him humming to yourself. Coming closer and closer you noticed another two people they were having a conversation with. Seeing as it may be important you stopped and waited for them to finish.

Feeling the non-stop gaze of someone Melus and Silver looked around and when their eyes fell on you you grinned widely and waved at them. Melus nudged his colleague on the side and grinned teasingly while Silver tried to fight off the smile that came to his face whenever he saw you.

After a short moment when he collected himself, he turned back to the conversation. At the same time, you raised your chin up to the sky and started cloud gazing to pass the time. You continued on humming and softly swaying from side to side.

Finishing their talk with Traveler, Silver turned to his companions. "Demoiselle Navia, Melus, Traveler and Paimon, excuse me for a moment." He finished with a slight bow.

Navia looked at Melus questioningly knowing they noticed something before. He, in return, tilted his head in your direction pointing that his friend was taking a short break to see you.

Moving your gaze back forward, your eyes met your husband's, who was walking towards you. Seeing that, you smiled involuntarily and ran up to him. As soon as he noticed you running he opened his arms to let you jump into them and embrace you tightly.

The moment your body collided with his he hugged you tightly lifting you just enough so that your feet left the ground.

"Bonjour, mon cœur." "Bonjour, how is work going? Hope I didn't disturb you much."

Silver let you down and took hold of your hand. In response, you tightened the hold momentarily.

"As for work, it was fine, not too much trouble today. Now I want to know where did you come from, were you shopping?"

Silver then quickly turned to look at Demoiselle Navia and his friend. He sighed softly and sent you a small smile. Seeing that you let go of his hand and gently placed the shopping bag down next to you.

You took off his hat with one hand while the other tilted his head down by the chin so you had easier access to place a sweet kiss on his forehead. You then quickly placed the hat back on top of his head and tucked in some of his stray hair that fell out of place.

"Don't work too much, mon chéri. I'll be waiting for you at the restaurant when your shift finishes."

Silver smiled at you widely nodding at your words.

"Don't miss me too much, mon cœur." He added kissing your cheek.

You picked up your bag and as your husband gazed at you lovingly you quickly came up with an idea and took advantage of his distracted self. Placing you free hand on his cheek you let it stay there for just a moment before snatching his sunglasses and placing them on you. You grinned at him and left a quick peck on his lips before running away.

He sighed deeply at your antics and was ready to go back to work without his signature glasses but as he turned towards Demoiselle, who observed the whole situation, she waved him off letting him off of work early.

how hyolyn is viewed by her seniors and juniors: the male idols see her as someone who brings the older generations back in one way or another, perhaps they feel that nostalgia from that time via hyolyn herself. they appreciate her for her versatility and talents. the female idols on the other hand see her as very impactful woman, they might idolise her in one point or another. i can see the other female idols see hyolyn as someone who is destined to be a trendsetter in some way, or to change her industry. they also appreciate her balanced personality.

seventeen, bts bond: overall their bond (between the two groups) is individual by its own and i can see that some members are more close than others (like jungkook and mingyu). both groups can be accepted as quite close while not communicating often (obviously why) in my opinion.

evnne career reading (until march 24'): they have the chance to become more relevant, possibly on tiktok or another social media. i do see someone shining more than the rest of the boys, possibly an earth sun sign idol /jeonghyeon, seungeon/.

how zb1 see evnne: zb1 are very optimistic for evnne and their future, so overall the thoughts are very positive! they wish only great things to happen^^

cha eunwoo, ideal type: someone real. he seems to be into these people who are authentic to their true self, no matter if he likes their personality fully or not. he might be into these type of smart people who know what and when they have to do everything when it's needed. someone who's organized by schedule if that's possible and also very chill. i do see some distinctive things such as weaker immune system (might have to wear warmer clothes in fickle or colder weather, i do imagine them wearing hats, bigger scarfs and puffer jackets around that time), making long skincare routines (possibly due to their skin, if it's more sensitive), being more emotional (like raw emotions all over themselves when they share everything surrounding themselves to eunwoo) only in front of him but have an emotionless face in front of other people, adventures (like bungee jumping!). possibly manager/ceo or similar job, related to (some sort of) leadership.

onlyoneof rie, ideal type: in the most positive way possible, i see rie is into these type of people who are struggling, like literally (mental, physical, financial even). i've seen similar things for other idols (that they see someone who's struggling as their ideal type) and as long i try to be as neutral as possible, rie is just the most optimistic out of all of them. he literally wants to be the "superman" in their eyes, like a psychologist, consult or dietolog. he seems to be into people who can be their best version of themselves when they're by his side. i am not sure if these thoughts of him are healthy or toxic, but i feel he is geniune and means well. he wants to be useful for someone and more or less to find his purpose of life. so overall keywords, he doesn't care about specific traits, he just wants to be by their side, no matter if they're good or bad.

jude bellingham, ideal type: someone whose life is very dynamic (similar to his, so possibly in the same or as public environment as his), who is very honest and doesn't sugarcoat everything they say. i don't see anything else but they can be in the law field or doing everything very fast too.

what svt mingyu feels towards jeon somi: very hopeful, very nice feelings from what i see and feel. mingyu seems to like somi a lot (i'll let other speculations be as what it is because it can be both options) and would really like to be at least very good friends. he seem to believe they would match!!

ateez, general reading: not that well as it seems, the boys seem to be in some form of isolation, i personally think that dramatic moment that I saw had happened, it looks like it's another thing though, I remember sunny (from X) has said that a producer or someone from the company, cannot remember, might depart from kq and it looks like it or similar thing has happened because ateez seem to be very dependant on that person, nothing else

yunho ateez, ideal type: basically, ✨the dream girl✨. i don't see any significant traits except optimistic, positive, dreamy, very romantic, like it feels like it's too obvious.

onlyoneof mill, ideal type: similar as jude bellingham, mill is possibly into people who are brutally honest, true to themselves (maybe less than eunwoo if i have to compare) but also very persistant, stubborn too i'd say at some point. alao innocent, clever, similar qualities and traits

what jungkook thinks of the drama uk army did: i believe he is indifferent and doesn't care. i can see that he thinks positively about that because he believes this brings more success to seventeen as a group.

zb1, 2024 career: at some point it will backfire the relevance they'll build with the time - from this uuuuup to this loooooow. i can see that it will be very great in the beginning but until the end, it will be worse than the beginning.

gunwook's relevance after 2nd comeback (the request was after crush era but since it passed when i asked, i modified it): probably the same as previous eras (only relevant to these who bias him). his popularity is unstable and might not work as expected but it definitely won't be enough, he seems to be not appreciated enough from netizens :(

Summer was ending, any warm day could be the last before you'd have to wait some long months before the weather is sunny and warm again. Before you went to bed, Asmo sent you a screenshot of today's weather forecast. Your relationship has come to the point where he could literally send you a screenshot of the weather app saying 'high chance of sun and warm temperatures' and you'd know what it meant: you're skipping the RAD lectures tomorrow, you're going to spend the potential last day of summer outside. Lucifer can get mad later.

The day was supposed to be a perfect end to a good summer. You and Asmo, dressed in light clothing, were going to spend the day outside at the mall in open air and the beach. When you two left the house, the weather was already nice and warm. Not a single cloud in the sky and a pleasant breeze in the air. To get to the mall though, you'd have to take the subway. Of course Asmo suggested you'd get fancy drinks at the coffee place to take with you on the ride. Everything was so perfect: the subway was quiet, the weather was amazing, the drinks were good, your outfits look perfect and none of you had recieved any angry texts or calls from Lucifer demanding to know where you are. Little did you know there would be a nice surprise waiting for you after getting off the subway.

'This is a joke.' Asmo said as he stared at the sky with wide eyes from surprise. 'It's cold too.' you added, regretting not taking an 'emergency jacket' with you. Somehow, while you were on the subway, the sun had evaporated, there wasn't a single speck of blue to be seen in the sky and there's cold, pretty strong wind, great weather for the beach. 'Let's look on the positive side, we now have an excuse to buy matching sweaters.' the lust demon suggested. You let out a little laugh before thinking about what to do, maybe you should just make the best of it.

You and Asmo just ate something at the mall before returning home after an hour of being there. And guess how the weather was when you got off the subway again? It was literally back to how it was before. What a joke. To enjoy the sun anyways, you and Asmo just decided to take a walk instead.

'Hey, Mc?' you turned your head to look at the demon next to you. He smiled at you and held out his hand, asking you to take it. How could you refuse when he was looking at you like that? Asmo held your hand contently and tightly while walking with you. Eventually he started speaking again. 'You know, I'm really glad we met.' He gave your hand a little squeeze. 'I don't know where I'd be or what I'd be doing if I didn't have my favorite human here.' You glanced over at him before focusing your eyes on your hand clutched in his and smiled. 'Yeah, I'm glad we met too.' Maybe knowing that summer's ending is making you feel a little extra sentimental right now, or maybe it's Asmo but you're feeling something you can't quite describe. It's like a genuine caring for someone, and you're pretty sure the avatar of lust is feeling it too.

Thank you so much for opening up matchups, I always love seeing my results! As for myself, I’m an asexual girl who’s somewhere on the aromantic spectrum. I adore history, reading, tea, writing, ice skating, art and sewing!

I’m pretty introverted and can get quickly drained being in large social groups or gatherings so I tend to prefer small hangouts or just time spent with one individual. When I really click with a person though I don’t find myself drained and can get pretty touchy and talkative! I have ocd, some past trauma and anxiety issues so if I did have a partner I would hope that they would be open to those parts of me and willing to be there for me when dealing with anything related to that. (And if they had that I’d do anything to help them work through it or just to help them feel comfortable and safe!)

I’m pretty easy going and relaxed for the most part although I am told I can be a bit blunt and that it looks like I’m always glaring (I’m not). I’m pretty upfront in setting boundaries and letting people know what I am comfortable with or not. While I do enjoy easygoing and light conversations, I also appreciate deep and intellectually stimulating discussions (or even just taking the piss out of someone).

Honestly as long as someone is open to engaging with my interests, is there for me both physically (not sex) and emotionally, and accepts me, then I’d be content! I’d be happy with that person no matter what (aka gender and orientation aren’t factors in whether I would like someone or not) although I would hope they are a more clean and tidy person or at least can learn to be one.

☸ Gale is the right person for you! There’s been some discussion of the lack of ace representation in Baldur’s Gate, however, I read a very interesting Twitter thread that suggested that the characters of Gale and Asatrion could be interpreted as asexual if you squint. Astarion because he’s endured so much trauma, and in Gale’s case because his character makes a point to be clear that what he wants isn’t “just sex”, and that love and romance for him is something much deeper, much more spiritual than anything we could understand in just the physical realm. I’m not sure Larian would label Gale as asexual outright; instead, I believe it’s meant to be up for your interpretation. In this case, I see Gale as greysexual/demisexual. For him, sex is only wanted or a positive thing if he's developed a true romantic connection first. That being said, I think he’d also truly value a mostly aromantic companion, as long as your relationship is based on mutual respect/admiration and communication. He’s been holed up in that tower of his in Waterdeep for so long, so alone. He needs a companion he can't open up to. A companion he can enjoy quiet studying with. Someone who won't judge him too harshly for the mistakes of his past; someone who can see past his shortcomings into the kind of man he could be. And in return, I’d imagine he’d do the same. 

Gale loves history! He’s a bit of a history buff himself. Sure, most of it pertains to the history of magic or The Weave, but he’s also quite knowledgeable about the history of Waterdeep. He’d love exchanging knowledge with you- you tell him what you know of your world and he’ll tell you what he knows of his. And reading, oh my goodness! The man practically has his own private library back home with hundreds of tomes dedicated to all sorts of subjects. And although he may initially be hesitant to admit it, he has an entire section dedicated to nonfiction. 

Gale would love nothing more than to spend a beautiful sunny afternoon with you outside his home in Waterdeep, picnicking and having tea while you each sit in each other’s company, reading your respective favorite books. When the weather turns colder, he’d love to go ice skating with you. Well, he’d like to watch you ice skate, while he keeps his feet firmly planted on the ground beyond the rink. He’s not the smoothest of people. But that doesn’t mean he won’t go above and beyond to make it happen for you! Even conjuring an ice rink himself with a spell if he has to. If it really makes you that happy, then it’s worth it to him. 

Gale may not be the finest connoisseur of art, but he does enjoy showing off the things you create. And he’s very happy someone between the two of you knows how to sew. It’s also so bothersome to rip a hole in your clothes after an adventure or battle and need to go all the way to a tailor to get them fixed. 

Gale prefers smaller crowds as well. And he comes with his fair share of trauma- being raised by a single mother, his fallout from his unbalanced relationship with Mystra, to being infected with a Mind-Flayer parasite. He can be rather anxious himself, which is why he tends to talk in circles sometimes. He’s not always trying to be elusive, it’s just that it can be hard openly admitting your feelings when you don't know if the audience is right. He won’t ever judge you for the things you deal with, be it your anxiety or OCD. He knows he has his fair share of quirks and absolute ‘no-nos’ that most partners would find a bit annoying. He’s extremely grateful for how patient you are with him. He understands, even more so with you by his side, that healthy relationships are give and take across the board. Everyone has their moments. Everyone takes their turn. And that’s alright. It just means you’re human. (Or you know, whatever humanoid Faerun creature you happen to be!)

Typically easygoing himself, Gale is happy you’re not overly boisterous like Karlach. He too prefers more stimulating conversations. (He also secretly enjoys ribbing those he’s closer to, and he’s a fairly big fan of puns. But it might take a while for him to reveal those little fun facts to you.)

And while his workspace might be a bit messy, he’s more tidy than not. Granted, things may get strewn about here and there after a night of spell research, but he makes a point to eventually put things back where they came from. He learned this the hard way when he left a book out on his bed only to come back to it to find Tera sleeping soundly on its open pages. He was forced to wait for hours to finish his spell! All because he didn’t want to wake her by retrieving the book. (He has since done what he can to ‘tressym proof’ his home lol.) 

Honestly, Gale doesn’t mind not having sex. He’s used to it. He just really misses the other kinds of physical affection: hugs, pats on the back or shoulder. Touch can be so healing and grounding, but it’s hard to get any of that when you isolate yourself in a tower for years. He’s very pleased you care enough about him to give him that much. 

He thinks himself so blessed to have you in his life.

27. your favorite part of the writing process -

just the writing and editing in general, i guess. like when everything is starting to sing and you can add details and hidden gems. when you have a hole and you suddenly know how to fill it. matching words together that compliment each other and let the sentence paint the picture in a fun way. when the ideas elaborate on themselves and i just have to be the bricklayer. it's just really pleasing and calming when a piece starts coming together and you are running down that hill with all the momentum. 💪

29. how easy is it for you to come up with titles? -

90% of the time? too easily. i normally have a title idea before i start writing or just after. or there's something i wrote and when i am reading through later & i see it, i go: "👀 free title real estate mayhaps? 👉👈". at the moment i have like two to three titles for all my fics and works in progress and could come up with more without being threatened. 😂 i'm going to have such a hard time of it when i have to decide. 🫠

The pokémon team anon has returned. I read the Hound Nights demo and got creative.

Starling:

- Starly. The names match! Also, that is Starling's starter, they left the cult together.

- Rufflet. Another cult buddy that escaped with Starling. Rufflet's evolution, Braviary, has this dex entry "For the sake of its friends, this brave warrior of the sky will not stop battling, even if injured." Starling shows similar tendencies towards her family, but much like Rufflet, she still has some growing to do before fully fitting the role.

- Togekiss. A pokémon that enjoys the company of kindhearted people. Starling insists Togekiss stays around for their parents, but it is clear Togekiss really cares for her.

- Drampa. A friendly pokémon that loves children and protects them from danger? Yeah, of course a traumatized cult survivor would end up with one looking after them. MC's family probably gave it to her to help her feel safe.

- Bagon. Just a little baby that wants to fly free and is willing to jump off cliffs to reach its dream.

- Shiftry. Its body is wood, so the nose can serve as an improvised stake. It knows the move Sunny Day, which turns the wheater sunny. It can even read minds. Shiftry is Starling's anti-vampire buddy.

Marian:

- Meowscarada. Green magician cat, that's all.

- Perrserker. Bushy tail, black and grey face, cat. Knows Pay Day (a move that generates free money).

- Male Meowstic. Green-eyed cat with psychic powers. It has the Prankster ability.

- Electabuzz. A pokémon that loves storms just seems fitting. Marian has been raising this one since it was an Elekid.

- Castform. It changes type based on the weather and helps Marian with practical effects, since it can make rain, hail, and even sunshine.

- Female Basculegion. Its dex entry states that females "can afflict a target with terrifying illusions that are under its control. The deeper the sadness in its friends' souls, the paler Basculegion becomes." Marian deserves a fish filled with ghosts.

Theo:

- Mightyena. A pack hunter that values teamwork and is obedient to skilled trainers.

- Mabosstiff. A gentle dog that loves children, but that will take on an intimidating look to protect its family. Theo's Mabosstiff has the Guard Dog ability, which "Boosts the Pokémon’s Attack stat if intimidated. Moves and items that would force the Pokémon to switch out also fail to work."

- Dusknoir. A ghost that guides lost spirits home. Of course the cemetery keeper would end up with one on his team.

- Cubone. Theo saw a little orphan baby and adopted it, no wonder he was ready to take MC in.

- Gyarados. Do not forget what Theo is.

Chrétien/Florence:

- Swoobat. As always, a bat for the vampire. A friendship evolution that gives others positive mood shifts? Very fitting for a vampire who is happy to be someone's best friend... as long as they are of use.

- Skeledirge. Matching its trainer's interests, Skeledirge is both an excellent singer and capable of producing flames at a temperature of 3000 ℃, perfect for burning up a body.

- Drifloon. A pokémon that likes kidnapping children.

October 18 2024: Swimming, Job search and Self reflection

Swimming

I felt my health is not very good today after I spent hours swimming last night. There was a guy who was swimming next to me all the time, somehow, he got so close that I need to move toward the edge of the pool. He is kind of young and shy, he was looking at me we were making some gesture toward each other but I'm not interested at all. I think the swimming makes my sickness more terrible, I'm not getting better at all and felt tired. I'm not sure if I should go swimming today again, but I really want to, so I'm still going.

Job Search Updates

Yesterday I sent my resume to all the possible positions I can find in the market. Then by the end of the noon I've got a call from a HR. Somehow, I missed it. Today I missed one another call of HR. They just did not call back, so I just suppose they are not very matching potential position. A good position should be the HR keeps calling until they can reach the candidates, a company that allows HR to miss out a potential candidate because they can't reach in the 1st call should not be a good one, or at least a good fit for me.

I want to speed up a little bit, so I reached out to the HR Manager of some companies I applied via Linkedin and had a chat with them so today I connected directly with few companies that way and can make sure at least my resume is catching their attention. I've got to schedule a test for a company on Sunday. This cycle is just exhausting, just following up on my application, instead of sitting back and waiting maybe helpful, but it is draining me out. I need to stop a little bit, taking some rest before engaging any further on the process.

Current Mood and Thoughts

Weather is still raining; it is going to be the last days in the raining season in Saigon. After that, it will be sunny the whole day and the weather would not be looking gloomy like these day for few months. I want to go back to Hanoi; I miss my network there.

My health is not good and so is my mood. It is not good, not bad, maybe numb as usual recently. I will stop the therapist session, at least until I can be confident in my earning again. Something is in my throat and I felt exhausted.

After the announcement to stop my employment here, I don't spend so many time on working, because I know without my effort, the business work is still going normal. But without my effort in working on with my new possible life, I will be totally dumb, so I spent most of my day on reading my books, finding job and planning for what I'm going to do if I have more of my free time.

I'm not busy with corporate finance work, but I'm super exhausted on working on my own business. I want to do so many things if I have more time. But a part of me still be in the comfort zone of this regular paycheck…. It is so attracting as by the end of the month I don't need to be worry about cashflow. I'm open to everything, even if it is that I have to step out of my comfort zone. That's kind of scary, but now thinking of the possibility of continue this repetitive work without having any chance to stop myself from it, I'm even more frustrated, than dealing with the possibility of being out of the market for a while. Maybe I really need a break from my exhausting career and really need to spend time on taking some rest, reading psychology material that is critical for my mental health recently.

Gratitude

What I'm going to be gratitude for today? I'm still earning some money until next 2 months. I think today I open up some possible very potential doors for myself. I spent time on discovering psychology aspect and was so intrigued. I can make sure that I have things to do and to learn after my termination of current unemployment. That may be the foundation for me to navigate more into more possibilities that I can devote my life. I was having some good books to read, and some event to participate next week. I'm having an assignment to prepare in Saturday and to finish in Sunday at a company, this potential position is a good potential match that today I find for myself. My family offers a good vacation for me to spend in a week, but I can't join. Somehow, I still have a mental back up to ease the loneliness in this city all by my side. I'm still good in the swimming pool and have a chance to meet good people every day. Yesterday I was finding it so difficult, but today I got used to the feeling a little bit. Maybe grateful for keep continuing the progress the way that I might be proud of myself. Maybe the universe abundance is not that as doubtful as yesterday.
