1. ALL SEVEN ELEMENTALS BEIBEEEEEEEEH!!!!!

Not one by one like the comic counterpart, but literally Boboiboy used a freaking Hepta Split!

Tbh my expectations were low cause I was skeptical that Monsta not want to bring them after that last ep (link). But HOLY SHIT WTF???!!!!

I am absolutely jumping in my seat like a football supporter, I can't--

They got short screen time--I DON'T CARE. They still got a chance to team up once again after a whole 8 years since the first movie! Besides, that movie also shortened their screen time.

Whoever decided to make Oboi's armor resemble an ant needs a raise. That's freaking clever.

Btw it seemed their hats were locked with Oboi's position. Also, Hali, and Duri were the only elements that used their sword? Interesting...

"Kembali Beraksi" rearrangge version in the background during the whole scene?? Yes please!!!

Even though it is just short, their portrayal somehow solidified my deduction about the elementals.

Anywho I am still in tears that they finally showed up on screen again. That is my personal wishlist ever since when they announced the show. I am already satisfied with that alone tbh (like really, why should Monsta need to cut that part where they were essentially the big part of the promotion during the Windara comic arc??)

2. Finally Monsta went bold.

Oh, I looooooove that moment. Monsta started to not hold back and I am captivated by every single one of it. The dying scene was well executed, all voice actors were perfect, and this scene reminds me of this.

In my opinion, this scene was also a test for their next project which honestly more dark and horror(the most horror arc throughout the galaxy series for me)

3. IT IS TIME FOR BELIUUUUUNG!!!!

Can I say Nurfathiah Diaz as Beliung here was downright phenomenal? Like holy shit, this is by far her best performance imo, yet.

Her voice acting was blown me away and I could see her improvement from Taufan's first debut to Beliung's was....I'm-I'm lost for words right now.

Look at this line delivery! (Her laugh felt diabolical and I love it.)

"Tuanku yang seksa penduduk planet ni, paksa orang tua dan budak-budak kerja di lombong, tapi saye yang biadab?!"

Edit: Turns out she was pregnant when recording Beliung??

My Respect to her went rocket. Wow.

As a person who watch her performance since the very first season of Upin&Ipin until Boboiboy... I couldn't be more proud :')

And the animation team seriously packed the action right to the tea! Reramos was absolutely blasted the whole way by Beliung. He's as ruthless as Taufan's OG era!

See? See??? Being patient is worth it guys. Therefore I was easily enjoyed the design choice of Beliung's TV ver without seeing leaks.

Taufan's upgraded board also acted as weapons and wings? Genius. And also directly parallel to the first fight with Maripos. He even said this:

The way Beliung flies on his board almost looks like this.

Now I am 100% ready for other 3rd tier designs if this is what Monsta decides to continue on.

To end this, Monsta decided to some sort of "invite" Oboi and Kuputeri into a small dark room, purposely to give a more in-depth conversation between the two, linked by Kuputeri's telepath power.

In my opinion, I prefer this strategy rather than the comic counterpart. Cause in a way, Monsta wants to show the bond between Kuputeri and Oboi as same as how Tok Kasa did with him in movie 2. Symbolize by placing the hat as they entrusted their power to the very same boy.

It might be exaggerating but that jumbled corrupted effect when Beliung's struggled? Impressive. Even more impressive that Monsta knowingly used the same effect when "finally" showcasing Beliung's card.

Speaking of ads, now they released the merchandise after the debut.

Talk about self-aware :/

Everything's not perfect and I do have slight issues, but honestly? I'm pretty satisfied with this episode! They ended it nicely done!

Lastly—

Are they not use DWIFUSION as their next title? If so, Gentar arc and Baraju arc are separated! Thank god! My biggest worry apparently will not come true! Alhamdulillah!!

I was just wondering if there was a deeper meaning behind why snow decided to play with their birth control when he did.

Like was it just to show the power he had over them, or was it to render her useless in the rebellion?

It’s discussed in part 5 of moves & countermoves that the people of the Capitol are getting a little bored with Y/N and Haymitch. They want more. More kids, more excitement, etc.

Cashmere and Finnick are more directly connected to the higher ups in the Capitol, due to the nature of their “work.” So they relay the information to Y/N and she’s already starting to get a little paranoid. This is passage where it’s discussed:

“She tells him of her conversation with Cashmere and the sponsor. How afraid she is that pay per views aren’t going to keep these people entertained forever. Eventually they will get tired of watching them, they’ll want to be with them; and neither she nor Haymitch will be able to say no.”

So we can assume there’s been some discussion around potentially selling Y/N and Haymitch off as a pair, directly to the Capitol higher ups. This would make Snow a shit ton of money. In order for this to happen, he needs the two of them distracted by something else while he moves the final pieces into place. At this time he has no idea that Peeta and Katniss are about to win the games and cause larger issues for him by fast tracking the rebellion.

Ultimately the game Snow was playing would’ve ended with Y/N and Haymitch being sold. Everest competing in the games and rigging his victory to join the circle of victors. Arista in the Capitol as a stylist. And the baby, wherever it would most benefit him.

But Y/N and Haymitch had gotten too good at the game, so he had to draw their attention away from the board in order to advance.

I can go a bit deeper, of course! Warning for the fact that this does get pretty sad and heavy, sorry :(

So Santo Berço really is gone. Equipe E destroyed it. The effects that Thiago is now dealing with are essentially mental scarring: a mix of normal human PTSD with a paranormal "flare" to it. The Symbol has seared itself not just onto his back but onto his mind as well. His dreams of the Symbol are due to trauma and the fact that, just as he suspects, he was never meant to escape it. It is stuck with him now. Anything touched by Death cannot go back to the way it was before, after all.

I kind of like to think about his mental state in terms of Ordem's "sanity" system as well. He recovers plenty of "sanity" while in injury recovery, since he's given time to rest, away from stressors. Eventually, he starts to do work for the Order again, but he quickly learns that he can't handle stressful, paranormal events like he could before (systems-wise, he has a permanent de-buff/disadvantage in the sanity checks) and missions---even the short one he starts out with---just put too much strain on his body. So, he winds up becoming part of the Order's cover-up team, helping fudge official reports and write up those "logical explanations" that Veríssimo sometimes references.

It's a role that's...much easier on him, after everything he went through. He does notice a pattern between his stress and the frequency of the Symbol dreams, so it's much better this way. He will, on rare occasions, help his friends out in the field with intel gathering (perhaps encountering a Horror on the way, which is never fun), and with he gets to serve as a sounding board for Liz's investigations, both her personal ones and the ones she does with the Order.

There are...other effects of the symbol. That he doesn't like to talk about. He's taken a sickly comfort in swirling designs, ever since he woke up in that hospital; back when he dealt with the nightmares on his own, before Liz and the others knew about them, he used to go to bed with reminders to himself ("Your name is Thiago Fritz, you live in São Paulo with Liz, she's in the bedroom upstairs...") written on his arm surrounded by swirls in the hopes they might calm him down enough to think and read it. He ponders his father's pocket watch more than he should, taking solace in the even, steady tick of time moving at the right pace as much as he does watching the second hand go around and around. He finds himself tracing circle after circle after circle with his finger when he's lost in thought or anxious about something...

He finds himself taking comfort in it. The Symbol. The thought makes him feel ill.

Over the months between osnf and opd, his mind slowly starts to deteriorate. Anything touched by Death cannot go back to the way it was before, after all. The frequency of the dreams has always been correlated with his stress and thus fluctuates, but on average they start to get more frequent, and the more intense ones happen more often, and it slowly gets worse, and worse, and worse until---

---he "zones out" one day, thinking of the Symbol. Thirty seconds, nothing much, it must just be on his mind. Then, he starts to fully disconnect from his surroundings, in his own head, pondering the Symbol for a minute or two. The white void starts to creep into his vision sometimes, reality losing meaning and definition, for several minutes at a time. Minutes turn to an hour, two hours, more, if no one is around to pull him out of it.

Thiago, as much as he hates to admit it to himself, is very, very tired. His mind and body are worn out, abused, overused. The thought that he's been living on borrowed time ever since Santo Berço comes more often than he'd like. At the worst of times, he feels like he's orbiting and closing in on some final, finite point. But he'll never tell his friends this because he knows it'll scare them because fuck, it scares him too. (Though, the times where it doesn't scare him are...even worse.)

lukeeeey feels like someone whose receiving love language could be acts of service... he would maybe be a bit bad at expressing his grattitude, but he would be so thankful for every little thing you do for him. surprise him with his favorite homecooked meal after he's survived that meeting he's been dreading, or pack his racing bag for him when he's back home in the middle of a double header and has no energy to re-pack everything himself, and he'll be so soft :( and i also think he would definitely like quality time? anddd i read somewhere abt shared experiences also being a love language and i think that rlly works for him, he would love to just have you along during his races or going on vacations with you to parts of the world neither of you have ever been in and just exploring 🤭

as for tim... i sadly dont know him too well i think? 💔 but something tells me he would be some kind of combination between physical touch and quality time too, just something gentle and sweet like that 🥺

oooo and jak strikes me as a physical touch guy too? always an arm slung across your shoulders, fingers intertwined with yours, or a hand on your hip holding you close... it doesn't have to be much tbh, even just a quick hug in the morning before he leaves for his racing duties can leave him energized for the rest of the day 🥺

PIERCINGS. so many piercings. this is primarily because i am a very firm believer that tabi gets piercings done because he wants to feel human again so he finds comfort in decorating himself as much as possible for that reason and also the aesthetic

HE HAS LONG HAIR BC I SAID SO ‼️‼️ i figured considering he's been invisible for so long he never really knew what to do when it came to cutting his hair, so eventually it grew out to around his waist, and he kept that hairstyle ever since (he prefers wearing his hair in a ponytail or smth bc sensory issues when it comes to hair touching his skin)

a lot of tater's hcs infected my brain hehehehehe especially the tail and his hands still being what they were when they were cursed (also. paw beans. /vpos)

an absolute boss at board games, especially monopoly, and he constantly loves screwing everyone over

extremely hyperfixated on pokemon and owns a bajillion folders filled with cards worth a buttload of money, and a dozen plushies + figurines (projecting bc pokemon is one of my hyperfixes dont judge me) his fav gen is absolutely johto

his eyesight is pretty bad but like. not bad enough for him to be needing glasses (unlike a certain someone cough cough agoti)

speaking of said certain someone, he and agoti do each other's hair a lot simply because its really fun and provides some stimulation, and also because it helps tabi practice with self care and such

VERY SENSITIVE TO SOUND AND TEXTURES, often times he will probably start crying if something sounds or feels wrong

sometimes he forgets certain words in english and has to resort to using what theyre called in russian

has the goofiest sounding laugh ever and i will die on this hill. when you get tabi cackling he will start rolling on the floor and making the most UNGODLY sounds

can speak like 6 languages fluently and a dozen others in simple conversation (NERD ALERT)

he sucks so hard at writing essays but is (for some reason) really good at maths

despite being the more serious one among his group of friends, tabis a dumbass and does a lot more stupid things than one would expect

Bad Buddy

I've struggled to get into Thai shows. Some of them are admittedly VERY different to what I'm used to. I'm very grateful to talistheintrovert and their video all about BL. If they ever make a follow up one I'd love some new recommendations and also maybe they could give a more in depth warning to new bees about how different Thai shows can be. Some almost IDK feel like Disney for adults. Which I love now but again, it was weird initially.

I had to stop watching Bad Buddy at first because it was too different and cringe. Obviously not objectively bad, I just had to get used to the style. Cringe is subjective. But the blatant, hilariously overt product placements, goofy sound effects and other little things were too off putting at first. I'm on board now but it was a journey getting here.

By the time I came to give it another shot I had to move to Daily Motion (thank god it exists) and I'm happy to say I now love it.

TBH I also struggled to care about the architecture V engineering and the parent's fight too. The stakes being tied to (seemingly at the time) two incredibly dumb pointless fights made it really difficult for me to care at first. Which is why I think it was easier for me to get into it the second time. I restarted at episode 4 or 5 where I'd left off. Starting off mid-way where the plot was more serious and fleshed out helped me stick to it this time. The secret hiding was a lot more fun for me than the will they won't they so I found it easier to not be bothered by how low stakes it felt. I started to see Engineering V Architecture as like how I don't watch a lot of American HS shows where I have to get into the mindset that football games matter and are integral to the plot. At uni I didn't like the engineering department much either and I still could barely care.

Firstly, it is SO Much Ado About Nothing. The leads have a history. They don't stop bantering after they get together. Even in Skyy 2 their friends want them to get together or be closer. Even if it doesn't tick all the boxes the vibes are there.

LOVE the banter. It felt so real, never forced and never too mean. I wasn't seeing a divorce sign flashing above them. It was proper banter not fighting.

It's SUCH a fun show. I was nearly ready to throw my laptop in the last episode though because I nearly thought they did one of my least favourite tropes. I just don't like breakups at the end of love stories. That's not why I watch them. I get too invested and emotional to ever usually seek out a tragedy. Similarly, I really don't like movie series where they just pretend the previous love interest never existed or barely mention them to do a love story all over again (which is why NATM 1 is my fav).

Also, SO glad the parents didn't actually date. Don't love anything close to incest in media either. I know it technically isn't but would have grossed me out regardless.

I love anything where siblings, family and friends are heavily involved in people's lives. As sad as it is in the end. I relate more to people who can't cut out their family for a partner, at least not over this. This is probably the biggest highlight of BL's so far for me is that friendship and family is SO important in so many of them. Also all the casual trans rep <3. I really ADORE the side characters. Especially his sister and the besties.

I headcannon Pran as demi ace/aro.

If you are new to BL's and can get through the first episodes I highly recommend this. I've found with BL's they usually tend to get less zaney and sound effect heavy as they go as the plot thickens and it gets more serious. It's the case with this too.

Ooh.. tbh it probably started with reading fanfiction. I found out that it was a Thing way back in the day when I was like 12 and really into warriorcats, and many poor attempts at writing were made (most of which are lost to time). I stopped for a while, then got back into it a tad in high school/college when I got really into Star Wars and had some ideas that wouldn’t stop rotating in my brain. I didn’t get super into it until later in college/now when I started writing for the hunger games with my OCs. My thg fics are some of the first (and only) long form stories I’ve written, and I think part of what helped that is the structure of a “standard” Games experience (character introduction -> pre-Games -> arena -> victor). V helpful for me to have the ending in mind, I’ve found out !

Oh, this is truly difficult because I'm mostly obsessed with tid&tlh so I'll say thomastair, blackdale and wessa (I also like other ships but perhaps I'm not as obsessed the way I am with them because I prefer the historical side of tsc). Each has a special place in my heart and they make me believe in love and makes me smile like an idiot <3 and I just love that they have in common the love for books. They're all bookish in different ways.

Jesse and Alastair are friends and they bonded over their mutual interest for mundane/political events and critical analysis of books no one seems to know

Will's fashion sense gets weirder as he gets older and Tessa loves to give him little accessories to match his suits

Thomas and Alastair love discovering new music together and sometimes Alastair is inspired to compose new melodies because of this (but he only shares them with Thomas)

Lucie and Jesse go on a trip to the US a few years after canon (and they're married) so she can research for her books. I believe they would really like the New Orleans vibes

All of them surely meet at James and Cordelia's house to play board games and eat together

5. Fav shadowhunter ship to write and why?

This is hard, because I obviously like to write them all, and they are different so there are different sides to explore in each. Maybe I'll say Thomastair because I really like their trope grumpy/sunshine. It's challenging to write :)

6. Which of the four secret novels we r getting for seasons of shadow hunters are you most excited to read and why? (As well as which tier did you order?)

Since we still don't know a lot of the couples, I'm excited for the Wessa story. I really want to see them being all happy and young before they had their kids, and I think Cassandra wrote something cute and fluffy that will make us go awwww!

I couldn't order any tier, sadly 🥲 because of some irl problems. But I hope someone will post some of the stories because I want to read them!

I love this idea! And I love Downton, so I'm up for it :) tbh I started a long Ghostwriter fic a few months ago, maybe I could continue that one and incorporate more historical things and such. I already did a sorta outline but I'm soooo slow so I need to organize things before I can post a few chapters of that (I always have too many ideas at once and I need to prioritize lol)

I honestly just love having another person that is just as thrilled about our characters being together. Whether it’s CCxCC, CCxOC, or cross fandom. I’ve actually gotten into new fandoms because of panfandom ships and honestly they’ve become some of my favorites.

2. what’s the worst thing about shipping for you?

While this isn’t across the board by any means— most people are REALLY chill about shipping— I’ve come across some that have weird expectations once you’re shipping with them. Besides what was listed above— I really don’t like that sometimes, when you ship, everything turns to smut. Honestly I’m not even sure I want to open myself up to smut on tumblr. When I first started writing on this site (back in 2015) I was very involved in writing smut with all my ship partners and one day I realized that was 90% of what I was writing and what was being asked of me. I love a good smut scene as much as the next writer but unless I know the other writer VERY well? I’ll probably fade it.

I don’t know how popular they are in tandem of other ships but Rick x Negan, Michonne x Rick, Carl x Enid, and Beth x Daryl are some of my favs that I can find art for. So I’m guessing they are popular.

I definitely do but some are on the questionable side 😂 And I most likely won’t be writing them here. Dead Dove girlies do, in fact, dead dove. Ofc I’m also starting to like Negan x Rick x Michonne and I’ve not really seen that… Abraham x Rick as well because two tough men together is just. Good. Beth x Carl is also HELLA growing on me. And Tyreese and Carol but again??? I don’t know if that’s a rarepair, it’s just not something I’ve seen much of?

*clicks tongue* See popular ships. Look, I understand Rick and Negan aren’t good for each other, alright, but they are good for me. And that’s what matters. But also— even if I like a ship or have an OTP, that doesn’t mean my muse will go for it every time. It’s all about the chemistry ✨ And I love seeing characters in like every single dynamic ever.

With my muses? Noooot really. I’m open to most things— though I certainly wouldn’t say I ‘ship’ every intimate involvement my muse has, no matter how deep it goes. I like wrongshipping and enemyslash and writing couples that just will not work in the long term.

I don’t think I’d write every available pairing on here by any means, but when it comes to my barbie dolls? They can do whatever the hell they want within my (and my writing partners) personal boundaries.

good morning. i skipped two days of writing to be precise. why?

it's because too much was going on. 13th aug was fine

yesterday there was earthquake of around 5.2. the whole building got down, especially the ones living the upper part of the building cuz we wouldn't have much time to survive.

that was number 1 reason.

secondly, mom found out that i text people on messenger and also saw me sent out some pictures.

to be precise some VERY DECENT pictures, like just my face. and the chat history? FULLY DECENT DAMN NICE chat history. still i got like a "ultimate warning" from my parents and they also made me deactivate my acc and block the guys b4 doing that. i felt super bad for them. cuz

i'm ahanaf's only bff and he has no one else to talk about everything so openly… we were also planning to research on the scholarships and go together… i couldn't even tell him that my parents are making me do this… but i had to cutoff everything… he was inspired by me, he was one of the people who truly cared for me, and i was one of them for him. he's now gonna think i left him like his other friends too :(

on the other hand, tousif is also an introvert + he is a totally broken guy. domestic violence, no real friends, people stepping over him, what not? that guy found his safe place with me, i took care of him while he was depressed and got him out of it. i helped him continue his friendship with others. when no one was there to support him, i was there… he was very grateful to me, he also wanted me to share my pain, but i never did except once cuz i don't wanna hurt him. he didn't like it when i didn't share my pain. he sometimes wouldn't even believe that i was not in pain cuz he knows i'm too good at acting and hiding emotions. so blocking him and breaking contact like that is gonna go too harsh on him as i won't be returning for a few months now. and even when i do, i won't be able to talk to any boy or enter any group. only girls, that even of my own school… poor him… he's gonna think i ghosted him too :(

truly as a psychopath, it's not like i feel any pain to leave them, or any remorse after my parents' lecture. cuz according to them, i did so many "wrong" things, just by talking and sending the most decent pictures possible. but i know that's not the case, and the only thing is i shouldn't have sent pictures as he's not in my school. that's it. so no, i don't feel any regret.

also i didn't have to leave ANYTHING tbh. i think dad understands that, according to him (i think) i was ABOUT TO get on the wrong track but they came in just at the right time to stop me lol. that's why i don't think he thinks that i've done any other shit.
