Remember… each year the Turner Prize jury shortlist four artists for an outstanding exhibition or other presentation… The prize was first awarded in 1984. It was founded by a group called the Patrons of New Art under the directorship of Alan Bowness. They formed to encourage wider interest in contemporary art and assist Tate in acquiring new works. They felt that Britain should have its own award for visual arts, an equivalent to the Booker Prize.
Pio Abad’s art explores cultural loss and colonial histories, often reflecting on his upbringing in the Philippines. Featuring drawings, etchings and sculptures that depict and transform artifacts from British museums, Abad sheds light on their overlooked histories and connects them to our lives today. He was nominated for his solo exhibition To Those Sitting in Darkness at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. — Tate Britain

Hope on the Stage: The beginning of a new dream
For everyone in the US, South Korea, Mexico, the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, China and Singapore, may the odds be ever in your favour. I wish you well in the inevitable bloodbath for tickets to this long anticipated Hobi solo tour.
Am I bitter that Europe has again been left off the list? Well if I am, I'm not the only one. I will have to settle for another live streamed Seoul show. It'll be my fourth after PTD in Seoul, Yet to Come in Busan and Yoongi's D-Day Concert. Praying for a decent streaming connection.
There is a new feel to the music J-Hope is about to put out. The video suggests a spirit of collaboration throughout. Can't wait to see the track list, the concept and the teasers that will be dropping soon.
Hope on the Street, the documentary and the album were one of the highlights of 2024 for me. I'm a Lock/Unlock kind of girl with I Wonder, Neuron and What If on the side.

Louis Tomlinson - does it ring with this name? As a singer of the British boy group One Direction, he was successful in the years 2010-2015. Together, the band decided to take a break. It has remained so to this day. In 2016, however, Louis began to take his own path. On his solo paths, the singer-songwriter has developed a style that takes up influences from British rock, alternative and indie pop. His music is often melodic, with catchy guitar riffs and a rather down-to-earth sound reminiscent of British bands of the 2000s. Already his first single Just Hold On sold 1.8 million copies. In 2020 and 2022, he released his two albums Walls and Faith In The Future. This was followed by two incredible world tours with over 170 concerts in 47 countries on 5 continents.
For this, an idea matured - a live album should be created, but a very special one. Thus, individual songs were recorded during the tour. On the 25th In April, the result was surprisingly published digitally. 14 songs have been released. Each of them was recorded in a different city. So the listener at home can also mentally go on a small trip around the world while enjoying the individual songs. Now the physical versions of the live album also followed, which make the concert feeling in the living room perfect. These include four more, exclusive tracks. In addition to the double CD, a double picture vinyl edition is available and it has it all!
The vinyl edition contains a special tour book. Fans were able to submit personal impressions about their concert experiences. And these are now included in this extra booklet. Louis decorated the recordings with individual hearts, smileys or crosses and handwritten the first names of the respective fans. This recorded, mutual appreciation is truly a magical highlight. The 28-page, regular booklet is no less lovingly designed. In addition to the lyrics, you will encounter the London set list, high-quality backstage photos and touching recordings made during the concerts.
Louis is happy about this release: "I have been lucky enough to tour the world twice in the last 3 years. The feeling I get when sharing these live moments will accompany me forever. The opportunity to record these songs anywhere in the world and release them as an album is something very special and a real tribute to the fans, who make every single show a unique and incredible experience. Thank you! Enjoy!"
Right at the opener The Greatest, you seem to be in the middle of the action with your eyes closed. In addition to the live sound, the fans can also be heard clearly. Louis invites them to tune in with him: "Sing it with me!" And they do! The spirited mood comes across clearly. In the meantime, the fans also get the space to sing alone. You get used to the choruses and the delighted shouts from the audience very quickly. In Bigger Than Me, the British singer gives space for personal growth and self-reflection. In the song, Louis describes how he deals with the changes in his life and realizes that life is bigger than himself. He talks about taking responsibility for his actions and decisions, especially with regard to his career and the people who support him. The song contains a powerful perspective on growing up and taking responsibility.
Holding On To Heartache puts the fans in great excitement. screams welcome the gentle song. This is about how difficult it is to let go of the pain after a breakup. It's about holding on to grief because it's connected with the memories of lost love, and it's not easy to finally finish with the past. The single We Made It is powerful. In the booklet, the single was translated into Filipino - after all, the recording comes from the concert in the Philippines. Although Louis sings the title in English, this hidden greeting is really adorable. By the way, this approach can be found several times in the booklet. For example, All This Time/She Is Beauty We Are World Class, the titles played in Munich, were also translated into German, for example.
High In California, for example, can only be found on the physical editions of the album. This lightness that the song contains is clearly noticeable. This is about escaping everyday life and getting lost in a state of freedom and lightheartedness. The lifestyle and atmosphere of California make you forget your worries and problems for a moment - just as is the case with Louis' concerts. Here you feel protected and can escape all negative thoughts.
Common People is about the appreciation of ordinary people and their experiences. The song deals with life in everyday life and how important it is to connect with the "ordinary" people and understand their perspectives. Challenges and struggles that many people experience should be taken seriously instead of romanticizing them. It is his tribute to the authenticity and reality of life. It therefore becomes gently rocking with All This Time/She Is Beauty We Are World Class. Here you rock with real fun from the sofa. The groovy guitars do the rest:
youtube
In Walls, delicate strings underline the song about emotional barriers and the struggle to show themselves vulnerable. Louis addresses the need to dismantle one's own walls in order to enable real connections with other people. It is an honest and personal song about vulnerability, love and the desire for closeness, despite the difficulties that can be associated with it. Louis calls on his fans: "Here we go! Scream" and together the fans sing with their idol: "But these high walls, they came up short. Now I stand taller than them all. These high walls never broke my soul. And I, I watched them all come fallin' down. I watched them all come fallin' down for you."
Out Of My System is then reached harder into the guitar strings. The drums are also picking up speed. With the fast track, the good mood is at a peak. This is about the internal conflicts and the difficulties of freeing yourself from the emotional burdens, while at the same time trying to find yourself and your identity. Overall, it is an energetic track about the process of leaving the past behind and starting over. In Paris, Louis is impressed by his crowd: "This looks fucking amazing!" With a warm voice, he performs Saturdays - a song that clearly reminds you of Oasis.
Silver Tongues is accompanied by a lively piano playing and you can really imagine how the euphoric fans on site shine with shere joy and rock them together again. "Krakow, you have been absolutety incredible tonight. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Sing this next one with me, here we go... as loud as you can!” And the crowd settles in: "You and me until the end. Wakin' up to start again. You and me until the end. Wakin' up to start again. There's nowhere else that I would rather be."
youtube
The record ends with Kill My Mind from Santiano. Louis sings of a roller coaster of emotions in a passionate, but also chaotic relationship. It's about the challenge of letting yourself be overwhelmed by the feelings and the inner struggle that arises when you are trapped in a relationship that is both exciting and stressful.
Louis Tomlinson and his crew have succeeded in a truly remarkable work. What is actually the advantage of a live album? You are not terribly sweaty, the way home is not imminent and you do not fall into the aftershow blues like a real gig afterwards, but can simply start all over again. 🙂
Louis Tomlinson's album Live was released on 23.08.2024 as a CD and vinyl via the label BMG.

I am about to say something that would make me sound racist. I am half Indian and half Sri Lankan, I live in the states. All these JJKs tagging Spotify, Billboard and their Messiah Hugh whatever from yellow paper Forbes have never even been to this side of the world or know very much about it. They don’t even that kind of coordinated solo fandom here. Like they don’t know how streaming works here, they don’t know the geography, they don’t know Jimin’s popularity, they can’t even probably make sense of the complexity of charting rules and filtering platforms do. Spotify has everything including your IP to know whether you are legit. JK has a large fan base in India, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. And all these accusations also come from these countries. Like???? JJK Girl, if you can name five cities apart from NYC, I will give you a brownie point. Embarrassing as fuck.
Nothing about this is racist, it’s just true lol.

countries and cities i've been to that i think the lost light crew will enjoy (vol. i)
i think ratchet would like switzerland. snowy alps, open green fields where purple and yellow poppies littered across the grass dance with the northern wind. he enjoys the secluded valleys and will spend hours just driving past the topaz lakes. he likes the quiet of it all, the serenity, the closure. he makes drift join him in their holoforms to walk, taking in the traditional log houses and brightly-colored buildings, shops, and restaurants surrounded by lush woodlands, upland meadows, and snow-capped cliffs. grindelwald because drift is fascinated by humans and their winter sports, ascona for when it gets warmer and the boats are out by the docks. in a first contact au, ratchet would most likely end up working in either zurich or geneva, working closely with earth's international bodies like the united nations to facilitate human-cybertronian relations. i can also see the medic crew stationed there as well; running the first cybertronian medical facility on earth.
drift, predictably, would prefer japan more. osaka and tokyo for its entertainment, where he and rodimus would spend hours exploring the nightlife in their disguises. at times, they would even go as their alt-modes. rodimus gets ahead of himself with all the attention he's getting. he'd travel through many prefectures, driving past the borders to clear his head — perks of having a conjunx that works closely with human organizations is that he gets exempted from all the paperwork — but always end up somewhere private, tranquil. the shrines, the forests, the mountains — he would even be bold enough to dream of settling down there. one time ratchet flew in to visit him at a resort by the foot of mount fuji, and his husband was neck-deep inside the natural saunas. content and purring, sinking into recharge against the stones.
i have a feeling brainstorm and skids would stir up trouble somewhere in the netherlands. most likely in the infamous lecture halls of leiden university, where great minds like descartes and rembrandt once walked in. they'd hate the weather, where the sun becomes optional the moment it hits autumn (even before, apparently.) the roads are small, so they'd have difficulty navigating at first, nearly driving into a canal because of how fast people bike. direct, with just the right amount of witty, the pair are glad to enjoy the company of dutchies without having to rely on their (human) food because nothing that they've seen looks appealing or digestible. getaway is also there, most likely in amsterdam, where his holoform is most likely to get cornered in an alley and have his bike stolen.
nautica would love the sea, the vast, great open oceans of southeast asia would be the perfect place for her. ever the adventurer, she would drag riptide and velocity with her to explore the islands of the philippines & indonesia. where she'd learn how to dive and swim with the animals past the coral reefs. sweet girl nearly cried when she saw a group of whale sharks. anode and lug are content sitting by the beach, sipping on their latest invention — coconut-infused energon. bali is where i imagine the girls ( and riptide ) would go for a nice getaway. the people are all smiles, warm and friendly, and passionate about their culture. even if the two are more inclined towards the sciences, the flourishing art and spirituality of the balinese people made them feel at home again. ( if not nostalgic for caminus.)
i know rodimus is living his life in spain. maybe it won't be his designated home on earth. but with the lost light stationed in geneva, where ratchet, minimus, and megatron are with the rest of the united nations council ( because there is no way they can park the ship anywhere in the new york branch ), barcelona was his first solo trip on earth without straying too far from his co-captain's watchful eye. it was the peak of summer and there he was under the sun. the people were only initially surprised, but then again, they'd probably seen weirder things than a sixty-foot-tall robot asking them if he could join their game of volley by the beach. he bumps into krok and his rag-tag team — who's also trying to get away from minimus — so that's how he and misfire end up nearly drowning after a competitive game of water tag.

Turo-Turo: Analog Food In The Digital World
You are the owner of the last karinderya in the world, a quiet little restaurant lit by tungsten lights and filled with cheap monoblock chairs and plastic tables. Once, your corner was filled to the brim with noise and life, with butchers hacking away at pig jowls and vegetable salesmen elbowing each other to show off their greenest ampalaya. Tricycles ambled their way down the street as the tell-tale slapping of tsinelas hit the street, while the children played basketball in jerry-rigged hoops. Now? Now you live in a future of neon colors and pill intakes.
Turo-Turo is a game made in the Philippines about an increasingly digitized, gentrified world. It's a little journaling game about what it means to see the world change and still stay the same. It's about food and how it brings people together, even if society would see them fall apart. It's my love letter to the karinderya across the street where I've spent lunch after lunch with my coworkers.
It's a quiet moment in a hectic day. A place of calm and joy.

[MAGAZINE - NME]
TWICE’s Tzuyu on cold feet before solo debut: “I wondered whether I could really pull this off”
Full article click here in order to read it
There’s been a lot weighing on Chou Tzuyu’s mind. While the TWICE singer, who’s also the youngest member, is a seasoned pro with her bandmates, the thought of stepping out of her comfort zone has her a tad more flustered than usual. “When it was first decided [that I would go solo], I started to feel the nerves, wondering if I could do a good job, you know,” Tzuyu tells NME over a video call in late-August, just weeks before the release of her first mini-album, ‘abouTZU’. Immediately, pressure settled in, and before the process was through, she had lost more than a little sleep.
That’s how, in discussing the mini-album, this chat turns to the subject of dreams. “Like the dreams in my sleep?” she asks an off-screen interpreter. Neat strands of auburn hair fall to either side of Tzuyu’s face while a finger props her chin up in contemplation. “There was actually one dream I had recently that really stuck with me,” she replies, eyebrows furrowing slightly. “It’s… a little scary.” Honestly, it was closer to a nightmare: “I was standing high up somewhere when this woman fell to the ground,” she says, right hand slipping out of frame like an object in freefall. “There was so much blood. It was really scary!”
In more ways than one, then, fear is an emotion she got to know intimately in recent months. “There were a lot of moments where I wondered whether I could really pull this off,” Tzuyu says, circling back to the beginnings of ‘abouTZU’. It wasn’t just a question of music. An album cycle in the K-pop industry will run newcomers and veterans alike off their feet – even the biggest of personalities find all the broadcast shows and interviews intimidating. “It’s always taken me a while to warm up to people,” she adds. “I’m still pretty reserved. I was pretty reserved when I first debuted, too.”
Since preparations for ‘abouTZU’ began earlier this year, Tzuyu had some time to think about how she was going to get her ideas across. “Expressing my thoughts… It hasn’t been very easy,” she says. In addition to the Taiwanese singer’s introverted leanings, living in Korea for over a decade has meant contending with a constant language barrier. This difficulty has lessened along with time and concerted effort: “Preparing my solo album was a great opportunity to work on that a little more. I can tell that I definitely feel more comfortable now than I did before starting the process.”
If there’s a new fire in her gaze, that’s calculated – “I took care to focus on my facial expressions, especially playing up the intensity in my eyes,” she says – as is everything else that sets her apart from the past. A teaser for the album fixes on her face and lithe frame, loosed arrows flipping her hair back like a modern Artemis. “This time around, I wanted to show a different kind of charm, really taking a step to show the side of me that is cool and confident, mature, and sexy,” she says, winkingly.
That confidence led her to take an interest in the music’s creative process, as well. The creation of ‘abouTZU’ wasn’t her first brush with songwriting – TWICE’s heartfelt ballad ‘21:29’, written as a team after the completion of a 2019 concert in the Philippines, holds that honour – but it was the first time Tzuyu took the process on solo. “For previous tracks, I was really engaging with the other members to write the song together,” she explains. “This time, it was pretty tough to go through that process of writing alone.”
“I can’t say things flowed easily from start to finish,” Tzuyu adds. “I got stuck plenty of times.” It helped for the native Mandarin speaker to imagine the song as a diary entry, private thoughts that only had to make sense to her. Once she heard the backing track, a picture started to play in her mind; eventually, she would jot down corresponding phrases in Korean and English. “It was a real challenge, putting the stories I wanted to tell, the feelings I wanted to convey into words,” she says. “It didn’t come as naturally as I’d hoped, but I took my time to work through each line, looking up any words I found more difficult.”

To The Next Chapter
Over the course of 6years I’ve been working (including pandemic era) I do have lot of regrets.. From risking and able to try something new. However, there was some instances I DID actually gambled and those are baby steps in which I totally proud of — but those baby risk resulted of what you call short-term satisfaction, which up until now I crave more — not on a short period but a long term…

BTS’ J-Hope Announces First Solo Tour ‘Hope On The Stage’: Details [Forbes]
After much speculation, J-Hope of BTS officially announced his first-ever solo tour.
Set to begin at the end of February, the 30-date Hope on the Stage trek spans major cities in Asia and North America, making live history as the BTS rapper-dancer-producer steps into the solo spotlight.
The tour kicks off with a three-night stay at Seoul’s massive KSPO Dome from February 28 to March 2, marking J-Hope’s first standalone concerts in his home country. From there, Hobi heads stateside, performing multiple nights at iconic venues such as New York’s Barclays Center and Chicago’s Allstate Arena. Notably, in April, J-Hope becomes the first BTS member to headline a stadium show solo when he plays Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium and also the first Korean soloist to book the LA stadium, solidifying his status as a pioneering force in his group and K-pop at large.
Out of respect for the large-scale wildfires in California, BTS’ official accounts shared that more details for the tour’s North American leg will come later.
Although Hope on the Stage marks the star’s solo touring debut, J-Hope is no stranger to commanding massive audiences. In 2022, he became the first-ever South Korean artist to headline a major U.S. music festival at Lollapalooza. His solo material also offers a wealth of options for his setlist, ranging from his acclaimed 2022 solo album Jack in the Box (which peaked at Number 6 on the Billboard 200), to fan favorites collaborations like “On the Street” with J. Cole and “Chicken Noodle Soup” featuring Becky G (the latter of which saw him become the first member of BTS to send a single the Billboard Hot 100 chart), as well as material from his 2018 Hope World mixtape (which still charted in the Top 40 on the Billboard 200 despite being released for free and only in digital formats).
More recently, J-Hope dropped the Hope on the Street Vol. 1 EP and an accompanying six-part docu-series last March that explored the roots of his inspiration and passion for street dance.
J-Hope’s tour comes shortly after completing his 18-month mandatory military service. Upon his discharge in October 2024, J-Hope has kept a lower profile by attending just a few fan events and other engagements. However, this tour signals the start of an exciting new chapter for the performer and his return to the global stage.
Though there has been no official announcement, fans speculate that new music may accompany the tour. If past releases like “Chicken Noodle Soup,” “On the Street,” or his “Rush Hour” collaboration with Crush are any indication, J-Hope will likely keep blending global sounds and styles that resonate with an international audience.
While ARMY fans eagerly anticipate BTS’ group comeback, long rumored for late 2025, J-Hope’s solo tour is a testament to the continuing creativity and ambition fueling the members during their hiatus. Following Suga’s Agust D World Tour in 2023, J-Hope’s tour adds another layer to BTS’s evolving legacy to further establish them as superstars, whether in a group or working solo.

100 PLAYS reached! Thank you!
100 people have seen my son, Rayden.
Just noticed there is 125 browser plays and 40 downloads! Thank you for trying out the demo! It means a lot.
The demo is composed of how the original story played out. We gonna tweak it a tiny bit in the next update.
Play the demo here: https://zishy.itch.io/rewound-101-remake
And like I’ve mentioned in my Tumblr, I will be taking a break in game development since I need to give some time for the artists to finish the artworks.
However, as a checklist for this project, here are the inclusions of the next update:
CG Gallery
Music Gallery
History Logs
New Opening MV
Final credits MV
About
Walkthrough
Built-in Dictionary
Added scenes in the Prologue and Common Route
Added scenes in all the routes
The bff route
New main menu
Might change this but here is the draft!
Also, I noticed I forgot to remove the psd files in the downloads, and there are 3 people who downloaded it already before I uploaded the new files. Please don’t use the files if possible.
I will be changing the GUI a little bit just in case.
Oh we speak English too, y'know
Also, to note, that I will be releasing the Filipino version first, then the English a few weeks after. As this is a solo project (as usual), it will take longer to do. It’s kinda tricky for me to use Filipino now when adding the scenes, since I don’t usually use the language any more, as I didn’t live in the Philippines for a long time (I at least wanna visit soon), but I’ll do my best. Again, thank you for the people who tried the demo.
That’s all and take care all!

ZILD – HOMEWORK MACHINE: An Album Review
Zild Benitez, the multifaceted musician and a former member of the band IV of Spades, has taken a bold step into the solo realm with his debut album, "Homework Machine." Released amid high expectations, the album showcases Zild's versatility and unique artistic vision, proving that he is more than just a bassist for a popular band.
Zild's music with IVOS (IV of Spades) is far different from his solo album. They are well known for their alternative retro pop rock genre with a blend of modern and vintage influences. But, with "Homework Machine," Zild's production style changed drastically by incorporating distorted drum machines, catchy electronic guitar riffs, and 8-bit video game aesthetics. The full-length album was like a breath of fresh air in the Original Pilipino Music scene in the Philippines, touching our hearts with its child-like synthpop beats. The integration of various electronic instruments demonstrates his ability to craft a sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
The album opens with the track "Sinungaling," setting the tone for a genre-blurring song that seamlessly combines elements of rock, pop, and electronic music. It is an eclectic mix of sounds and influences, ranging from funky basslines in "Bakit” to a dreamy and atmospheric vibes of “Habulan.” One standout track is "Habulan," where Zild's vocal delivery is particularly noteworthy. His voice carries emotion and vulnerability, adding a personal touch to the narrative of the song. Zild’s songwriting took a wide turn as he delves more into personal experiences, introspection, and societal commentary.
To sum up, the self-produced album “Homework Machine” is a living testament that experimentation in music works if you do it the right way. Despite having no record label on hand, “Homework Machine” built up Zild's reputation as an outstanding solo musician, leaving fans excited to see where his indie era takes him next.
