I love the femboy Nico hc but I have to pair it with my trans Will Solace hc because my brain created something for them which I shall share.

I like to believe that pre-transition Will used to have ‘girly’ days with his mother where they’d put on makeup, dress up pretty and stuff like that. I like to think that Will enjoyed the moment and enjoyed spending time with his mother, but gradually stopped wanting to do it because wearing that kind of stuff on himself gave him huge gender dysphoria. He missed the fun and the time he spent with his mum, but he just hated that it was all linked with womanhood cause he wasn’t a woman.

After he went to camp, and couldn’t see Naomi as much, he started feeling nostalgic for the experience of those days. He loved doing his moms hair, and he adored putting makeup on her and picking out cute, little outfits that probably didn’t even match. At one point, he attempted to do something like that on himself to maybe bring back that joy he felt, but seeing himself so feminine made him feel disgusted and utterly uncomfortable in his own skin.

He’d never taken something off so quickly.

One night, when he was playing with Nico’s hair as he lay his head in his lap, he had a light bulb moment. Queue Will persuading Nico to let him do his hair in pretty hairstyles that he’d learned from those days with his mom. At first, Nico was unsure because he had is own toxic views on masculinity from his original time. He was easily convinced, however, because he loves Will and probably can’t say no to him.

Nico ends up with some kind of pretty hairstyle (imagine what you want), and he loves it. From that point onwards, it spirals into Will using his knowledge from those days to do loads of feminine things to a progressively less reluctant Nico. He’s often found wearing makeup, many elaborate hairstyles and even sometimes a skirt.

I also like to think that Nico’s openness helps Will feel more confident with feminine things again, because he realises that it doesn’t make him appear any less like a man. I don’t think Will would ever wear anything drastically feminine again, but i’d like to imagine that solangelo have been caught wearing matching skirts.

Maybe it even leads to Nico discovering a new identity for himself. Maybe they end up using he/they pronouns.

I like to think that Nico's favorite color is actually green instead of black. I understand that in canon Nico says that his favorite color is black, but I can’t imagine Titan's Curse Nico saying that his favorite color is black. Most people pick their favorite color pretty young and stick to their answer, so when someone asks 10-year-old Nico what his favorite color is, he says green. Green like the grass behind their home in Venice, green like the background of his Mythomagic cards, and green like the hat he gave to his sister for her birthday. But there’s no more childhood home to go back to, and the Gods aren’t all he thought they’d be, and his sister’s gone. So, he says black because that’s what everyone expects. And if his eyes linger on the rolling green hills of camp for a bit too long? Well, that's for nobody else but him to know.

Oh you don't like cliches?

Can't relate. Gimme character A who is completely obvious, always pining, everyone in the entire plot knows they're in love with character B. And B is just so oblivious that they never even realise when the flirting hits them smack in the face. Until literally the entire plot is just everyone trying to spell it out that A is in fu*king love with them.

I love cliches. Gimme idiots in love.
