The way I love Sol… there are no words to express how dear he is to me. He is so sweet, talented, smart. He loves, cares, and protects so much. I just wildly adore yandere who are obsessed with MC. They'll really set the whole world on fire for their beloved. No one will dare to touch MC, offend or seduce. Oh no no no, otherwise there will be consequences. They would never ever hurt someone they love, but they are crazy in their possessive desire to be close and protect from everything. This type of yandere is the best.

My problem with The Dragon Prince is that while it preaches about "breaking the cycle" and "choosing love", it repeatedly does so in a way that echoes the age-old idea of telling victims to passively accept their lot in life and the injustices inflicted upon them while their perpetrators never have to acknowledge their wrongs or face consequences for their actions. This is the kind of narrative they follow on both a personal and systematic axis, and it's exactly why the show will always frustrate me.

do you think when Axl first met Ky he was like "sorry for being British" since Ky's French but because of the 100 year long crusades waging on most weird cultural feuds or whatever have dissipated so Ky is like "I have no idea why you'd apologize for that but ok" and Axl is relieved and gets all excited and is like "Aw man, the chief said you'd be stuffy and annoying but you seem really nice!" And Ky goes "the chief?" and Axl is like "Yeah, Sol, the chief" and Ky gets the most pissed off look on his face and Axl sees his expression shift and just goes "MAN" and time slips from the stress

Ezran qui va voir Karim en tant qu'émissaire est une idée intéressante. Et tout comme Kasef et Finnegrin, ils ne le voient pas comme un roi mais un enfant incapable de comprendre la situation. Sauf qu'il la comprend et sait que ça va causer des conséquences. Il a réussit à l'atteindre quand il a parlé de sa soeur mais même si sa victoire a été de courte durée. Le prix pour ça a été lourd, il a perdu son royaume et des personnes sont morts alors qu'il n'était pas là.

Ezran going to see Karim as an emissary is an interesting idea. And like Kasef and Finnegrin, they don't see him as a king but as a child incapable of understanding the situation. Except that he understands it and knows it's going to have consequences. He managed to get through to her when he talked about his sister, but even that victory was short-lived. The price for that was heavy, he lost his kingdom and people died while he wasn't there.
