Everything about this is so wonderful in every horribly great way... This is also the *second* request for Willow dressup i've gotten, so here's what i'm thinking. if I do a silly /cute picture, Weasel Fashion Week is definitely what needs to happen but if I do a more serious image, willow has to be there (and in the halloween spirit), because she's proven to be the star request. (Also you're right, Lyra has likely on more than one occasion dressed up as some pop culture outveil icon she loves and absolutely lived for the moment anyone might recognize her costume. One year that just so happened to be Barbarella. That was though probably before Audric....)

PolyHermits, but it's actually a lot more complicated than just "everybody is dating each other the end"

Joe got bored one afternoon and decided to make a handy-dandy flowchart of who was dating whom.

That was in season six.

The flowchart now takes up an entire wall in Joe's living room, features players from at least 4 different servers, and is updated twice a week.

From the start, the flowchart lines were color-coded to represent platonic, romantic, queerplatonic, and sexual relationships between players. Now, there's colors to represent things like "unrequited hatred" (teal), "who knows" (maroon), "clones???" (amber), "Impulse and Skizz" (chartreuse), and "their souls were tied together that one time" (periwinkle)

Joe is definitely not bored anymore.

He makes sure to exhaust all the existing lines before adding new ones. Truly, there was no other way to represent Impulse and Skizzle of the Man.

Short answer: yes.

Longer answer: yes, and from what I've seen of Dan Watter's writing I am excited to finally have "Dick Grayson with a discernable personality" back and to have him be written by someone who seems to actually be interested in a) Dick as a character, b) the unique position Dick inhabits in the heroing world, and c) doing something new with him instead of recycling older plotpoints. I'm also terrified because the best writing I've gotten on a Dick Grayson solo book in nearly 15 years was a 10 issue run by a writer (Sam Humphries) who's never returned to write him since; I've been disappointed so many times I'm lowkey afraid to be excited.

Basically, I need more than "showing up as a side character in the Azrael book" out of Watters before I pass judgement on his writing of Dick Grayson.

Zero issues with Dexter Soy as the artist; I love his art and he draws a wonderful Nightwing. Very much looking forward to him on the book.

OREL HC????? Okay, first I'll say the hc I have (all silly, nothing serious?) and then I get cheesy...uh

Right, first let's start with uhhhh a silly headcanon I have is that when he was younger he wanted to be like Reverend Putty...for his great service to God and all that uh. Then when he grew up he'd want to study to be a doctor...it's a good profession for him (I know I explained this in a post a few months ago), he likes to help people, and he'd definitely give his patients loads of attention without being as negligent as the doctor in Moralton lmao. (I should do a whole post about this as I actually have a lot to say about his career path)

I'm a firm believer that at some point he continued to smoke weed...maybe in his teens?? He'd know it was wrong, but it helped him to zone out, so it was fun, plus he'd definitely hang out with people who smoked too, and Orel is...very easily influenced.

Definitely in school he'd be smart, but also REALLY DISTRACTED...and goofy, I'm pretty sure hardly any girls would be interested in him. (Maybe he also became a bit weird), he's bad at picking up hints and reading people's body language... so everyone would have to be REALLY direct if they wanted to talk to him about anything. (Aahh he'd probably have to move outta Moralton to study for a serious doctor career...then he'd have to adapt to new people...bad boys)

He'd probably only start officially dating Christina when they were both legal...and she had the freedom to leave her house whenever she wanted!!! Happy ending.

CHRISTINA IS SADISTIC-

In his teens he'd really enjoy grunge and soft rock...uhgg I dunno, I just feel it. (Even though he's not that into music)

He's a goofy..nice...overprotective.....VERY overprotective dad, and that'd cause problems with his kids when they hit their teens...stupid (I love him) Orel..aahg, I mean, aahhh I also think he'd do loads of things that embarrass his kids!! But without realising lmao, he'd be like...trying to talk like them? That 'teen language' as he calls it haha.

IN HIS TEENS A LOT HAPPENED - UGH, not just between him and his parents...I mean also with his 'friends', even if he stopped being (just a bit) innocent, loads of people would definitely manipulate him into doing anything.

I don't think Clay and Bloberta ever divorced lmao, feel like they just stayed together and miserable...just like in that pic Orel has in his living room (Plus, I love that pic, it proves Orel doesn't hide his parents, he loves them despite everything and he'd definitely tell his kids to love them...wwgggh)

You know what I'm pretty sure about? Doughy and Orel got into a fight and came to blows in their teens, what caused it? Probably Doughy, in loads of episodes he looked like he was betraying his best mate for attention and affection from an adult...(but ugh, don't judge, it's written so well and we know why he did all that, even though that doesn't mean it was right, yeah, plus...there's no guarantee he changed after that, if we think about it Doughy had NO ONE, to teach him right from wrong), at some point he'd do a 'silly betrayal', to Orel...that'd make him SO ANGRY (cos it's not the first time) that mixed with a strong IMPULSE LMAO, he'd punch him, then he'd punch him back...and well, it'd all end with forgiveness and Doughy learning something.

And that's just a part of what I have cos I wrote a lot lmao...

There are a few things going on right now in regards to my writing:

Handling requests for full-length fics and slowly churning through the kissing booth requests (I love doing both of these, it is a favourite). So, so many kisses. So many tropes. I love it.

Starting Pollen for Ace while writing pollen for Mihawk. This has been an entertaining comparison to write for. We love seeing what neediness looks like on Mihawk, and little whimpers from Ace while he's holding back.

Carving out a fic gift swap for a beautiful mutual who wrote me a gift, which is turning out to be very cathartic and angsty to write for our beautiful Rosinante. Au, he comes back - but only for a day. It is heartbreaking, and I am mourning while writing it.

Writing some unhinged smut to cope with the trauma induced from the prior point. Also for Rosinante. Who doesn't want to see the big, soldier man jealous?

Forcing down the desire to write for a protective and possessive Doflamingo caring for his partner as they lay overcome with illness in their bed. I dunno if it's the health-scare drawing me to him, but the need is there regardless. Need him to be a force of nature while helpless and possessive: nothing he can do, comparisons drawn to his mother.

Writing some more 'Hey Doc' to get rid of the sillies.

Skizz is the most oblivious man on the planet.

Since he joined, the Hermits have been trying to flirt with him and he just. doesn’t notice it? No matter what anybody tries he just assumes they mean it platonically.

Zed got so fed up with this that he walked up to Skizz and told him, in (what should have been) no uncertain terms, that he would be quite happy if Skizz could entertain the idea of the two of them entering a romantic relationship. Together. With each other. Romantically. It was a little embarrassing, but it was far, far more embarrassing when Skizz responded with “Aw, love you too, buddy!” And walked away.

At this point, they can't even know if Skizz already thinks they're dating! Because surely, surely somebody can't be that oblivious?

And that's the thing: they just don't know. They don't know if that's what Skizz thinks or not. They could not tell him plainer if they tried! And they have tried!
