I was minding my own business on twitter (the fall of the AO3 drives us to desperate measures) when I see this post:

Miguel has maximum security under everyone who wears the watch and keeps them under surveillance 24/7 (bro needs a life and therapy).

And Gwen still gonna see Miles.

Gwen. Still. Gonna. See Miles.

That's why I get so livid when people hate her and ask why she didn't come see him sooner.

She couldn't. Literally. Gwen was under surveillance.

Gwen was begging Jess not to tell Miguel and he already knew. This girl's fear of being found out and sent home is very real and justified, that's because she still didn't seem to know that Miguel was watching her from the beginning.

She was already screwed by the time she arrived on Earth-1610 because Miguel knew she went to see Miles and broke his main protocol at the moment she could go to his dimension.

And despite all the fear she went. She saw Miles.

And she was going to possibly get kicked out anyway even if she got the spot and Miles didn't go after her.

So if I see one more Hater say why she didn't come see him sooner, I'll show it.

Gwen didn't go see him because she literally 👏🏽couldn't.👏🏽

Because I know that the moment her clock is programmed to Earth-1610, Miguel would block on time because it is obvious that Gwen is in his crosshairs all the time. And not only would she be sent to a house that her father had held a gun to her head, but then she would never be able to see Miles again because she would no longer have the technology.

If having an official mission from the Society, Miguel was already on her head, imagine what it was like in the preoccupation work of preventing her from flying straight to Miles? Miguel is not stupid.

Gwen would inevitably be kicked out of spider society. She loves Miles too much to stay away.

And Miguel knows this.

He knows that all Gwen needed to go to Miles was an alibi.

So I was thinking reader is new to spider society and on the day she’s told to join she has to bring her baby because she didn’t have a babysitter. Well Miguel sees her and it’s like he’s instantly drawn to her like sunflowers are to the sun, sunflowers move where the sun goes and when the sun doesn’t shine they face each other (She’s kinda like his day and night if that makes sense) but instead of acting on it he dismisses her but kinda admires her and her baby from a distance.

Well one day she’s having a small part for the main group and she invited Miguel because she always felt the feelings but also dismissed them. Then after the party he stays to help and the end up getting closer and yeah. Not even in your wildest dreams you'd imagine something as The Babylon Tower or HQ as most Spiders called it, could exist. Different sort of Spiders paraded around and greeted Jess upon her arrival.

Some even greeted your toddler that cooed and giggled upon the many heroes that came his way.

"Let's get you to Miguel." Jess walked ahead and you followed, you baby's eyes wandered, marveling at the different colors and people. You'd sometimes make hamocs and web playgrounds for him to be more active. Your babysitter was the only person you could actually trust your identity, she had even helped you sometimes by calling the cops, or even fixing your suit.

Another man in a pink bathrobe approached and gasped at your baby

"Please tell me we're getting a Spider Parents exclusive division now."

You chuckled and Jess just rolled her eyes

"Sweetie, this is Peter."

"As in Peter Parker?"

"Nah. As in Peter Benjamin 'B' Parker."

"Oh... And whose that cutie over there?" Your eyes trailed to Mayday as she beamed at you.

"Mayday. A lil spider in growth"

"She has spider powers?! Oh my goodness!"

You giggled as you made your way through the halls to a much more secluded and dark area.

"Miguel?"

Your baby couldn't help but babble as a hulking figure approached from the furthest corner.

"He's so dramatic" Peter whispered and again, you giggled under your mouth.

Jess introduced you both and explained your progress to him. Apparently they had been observing you for quite the time.

" I apologize for bringing my child. My babysitter called in sick."

"No problem."

Even though his voice was calm, the coldness in it made you recoil to yourself. His scrutinizing gaze fixed on you and your baby. By instinct you held him close.

Red eyes settled on yours, but the subtle stare contest was interrupted by the anomaly alarm.

As your time in the Spider Society advanced, your interactions with Miguel improved significantly, and by that it'd mean longer conversations, a joke here and there and of course moments so subtle between you both that you had to be quite analytical to know that he gave glances your way or lean to you slightly whenever speaking to him.

Not that you were inmune to his looks, but his patience stood proudly among his other virtues. And to your surprise he seemed to handle Mayday well enough. What actually made you to be drawn to him is that in one of your many occasions that you couldn't leave your baby boy alone, and brought him into HQ with you, he'd be instantly looking for Miguel.

Your cheeks would flush impossibly red as your baby clung to his leg and erupted in a bubbly laughter.

"God, I'm so so sorry, he just... seem to like the blue alot."

An airy chuckle was everything that escaped his lips. Of course there was so many questions he'd want to do out of curiosity. He had noticed you didn't wear a ring, neither talked about the baby's father. It was something he never seemed to coax out of you. No matter how subtle he was about it.

You both froze as your baby mumbled and grabbed a few strands of his hair.

"I'm so sorry..." You pried the baby away from him and fled the place as soon as you could. He just watched you leave, the inner turmoil in his heart was surely playing dirty. The way the baby had clung to him, and climbed ontop of his chest made his heart to leap after a long long while.

You had been avoiding him, for sure. Ever since your little incident with the baby mumbling his first words, you had taken your distance with him. Of course you weren't ready for your baby's actions, but the fear of going through all that again, had surely dismissed all possible blooming feelings you had for your boss. Besides he seemed way too busy and aloof to try and pursue anything with anyone.

Not that you blamed him, the multiverse depended basically on him. It was for the best.

The moment you were falling asleep, your Spider senses tingled so hard you had a little headache coming your way.

Dread settled on your brain as your baby boy screamed and wailed.

No No No!

You were already darting towards his room, and pulled him with one of your webs towards you, holding onto him for dear life as the creature shredded his crib to bits with its elongated talons.

Your eyes went wide at the sudden action, your baby kept wailing in fear, earning the humanoid like creature to snap it's attention to you. You were fast, but the creature was faster and sliced through your flesh in one of your sides. You fell on your back protecting your son from the impact with a groan.

You needed to get out, or at least put your baby out of danger.

Survival mode kicked in as you dodged and took as much damage as you could from the creature that seemed way too keen into hurting your child.

You fought but exhaustion was taking over, the blows of the creature only seemed harder and powerful, but no matter what your priority was to keep your child safe, even if it costed your life.

The creature pounced on you, but the final blow never came. There was a commotion as you tried to get up, all you could hear was inhuman shrieks, growlings and finally the engine of a too familiar motorcycle revving up.

Your baby was pried away from your hands and you whimpered

"N-No!" even in your injured state, your mother instinct kicked in.

Your name was called, several times until you were held against a sturdy yet warm body with such care and tenderness that stilled your thrashing body. Vision blurred, but the last thing you saw the led lights of a blue and red suit, red eyes staring at you with concern.

You woke up in HQ's medical bay. Pain surging through your body as you tried to sit down, Miguel's hand stopped you. Face with his ever permanent frown and something else. Worry.

"Where's... Where's my baby?"

"He's fine. Out of danger." His hands reached for a new set of bandages, he took your arm gently and began replacing the bandages himself, some were stained in a fresh layer of blood.

The silence fell upon you both until he decided to break it.

"You... were brave. We still don't know what that creature was, yet you didn't hesitate to fight back."

"It was going for my son... If I would've got there a second too late..." Voice broke and eyes filled up with tears.

The knot only tightened around his throat upon remembering the anomaly alarm in your world and saw you fighting for your son's life. He didn't think twice before jumping into action.

"The anomaly was terminated."

Terminated, not contained.

"I see"

"Your safety is all that matters to... this organization"

He had learned that you were a single parent thanks to Jessica. Something he had trouble understanding sometimes. How could a man abandon his own family? He'd give everything to have one more chance and at least make things right, he wouldn't interfere with Gabriella, no matter how much he'd like to, just to keep her safe and alive.

But seeing you fighting for your son, made that side of him he thought buried forever to claw back full force on him. You were a great mother that wouldn't hesitate to attack and lash out at everything that menaced your son. It was the last straw for him.

A couple of months had gone by since your incident, and as a retribution you had decided to do a small gathering. Not only to say thanks to them, but to also celebrate your son's birthday.

Wounds were properly healed thanks to Miguel's attention and cares. Music echoed through your apartment. You weren't sure he'd show up, but the invitation was delivered to him.

Your son was having the time of his life as Peter and Jess played with him. Mayday was such a great play date and everyone seemed to have a great time. A portal was open to your kitchen and Miguel stepped out. Suit underneath civilian clothes. It was weird to see him out of the blue and red suit you were always used to see.

"Hey" You smiled and he placed a little present in your hands.

"Hope he likes it."

"I'm sure he will, thanks."

Your smile turned bashful as he leaned on the kitchen counter. Your place seemed normal, cozy even. Full with your son and you pictures. One was cut out and the only trace of a man existing in your life was the forgotten hand you were oblivious in cutting out. And even so, he seemed unsure since his fingers were barely touching you or your son.

"Here." You offered a plate full of food, which he took and scarfed down.

"When was the last time you actually ate?"

His eyes locked on yours, wide by the sudden question.

"There is more if you want to."

"I don't want to overstep-"

"The rest already had their portion. And I frankly went a bit overboard with it. So it's fine."

Your baby's laughter roared from the other side, earning you a chuckle.

"I'm... sorry though"

"For?"

"Him, calling you that. I know what happened and I'm sure it's not nice to just-"

"Couldn't blame a baby. Is it... ok for me to ask what happened to the father?"

"He just decided that we weren't enough for him. So he went for a new one. Away from us."

His eyebrows knit deeper and a light scowl drew in his face.

"But, it's fine. It's less of a burden knowing that you don't have to raise another man child."

He chuckled and nodded

"You're a great mother." You served him another plate but stopped when the corner of his mouth was doused in sauce. Giggling you reached for napkin and got in your tip toes.

"Excuse me" You wiped his mouth and smiled, "Sorry, can't help it"

His hand went to the back of your nape and leaned down for a kiss.

It was something that felt out of his character, he knew much, but it couldn't be helped. You had come like a little storm that turned into a hurricane in his heart. And that harrowing night where he saw you fighting with everything you had, only grounded him into allowing himself to feel and experience for once.

You got in your tip toes again and pulled him down for a kiss. There was no words needed, just a look of mutual understanding and complicity between the both. A kiss in the palm of your hand sealed up the implicit deal.

You were his now.

But the general idea for this 'incident' in this AU is simply, Jotaro didnt just kill Dio, Jotaro ate Dio

it stems from a P2 rewrite that ultimately ended up with everyone living for better or worse. Along with Joseph and Suzi having a relationship with Wham. Holly is born under both the Joestar Curse as well as Half Pillar man. Theres a lot to dive into with that, but thats just the bases for the bigger topic of 'Eated Him' which is a silly Nickname to a horrific Jotaro event in my AU lol

Jotaro coming from his half Pillar man Mom, is also part Pillar man. And everything we know of Jotaro and the way he behaves and the fear he had over his own stand he thought to be an evil spirit, all lumped on top of being part 'monster'

Jotaro is afraid of himself because he thinks he is a monster because he came from monsters. From comments from his granny Lisa on how cruel and mounterious his grandfather Kars is. To the way his mother doesn't open up about her own feelings of how she and her family is seen in the eyes of human society (which to her is meant to put on a smile and say nothing wrong in hopes that it can keep everyone happy and not burden anyone with her own sadness)

Then he gets this big scary evil spirit haunting him thats supposes to be from his own soul, and it looks just like his mean, cold and disliked 'monster' of a grandfather kars. Baring Fangs, horns and the works.

Jotaro and his mom in their large house, no husband usually around, or friends who come to visit. Just a large empty monster mansion.

So when it comes to the Dio fight in Egypt and as far as Jotaro knows everyone he cares about is dead or dying and he's back into a corner. Its just

fight or flight, and Jotaro doesn't even know whats happening, and how its so instinctual to him. Something so ancient in him that tells him to destroy Dio absolute.

He kills and eats Dio the way any good Pillar Man would a Vampire.

And Jotaro can never take that back. Jotaro has hurt many people, but always as a human, nothing beyond what any of the others in his new found circle of friends cant do. But this? this is what a monster does. Standing there in the middle of the streets of Cairo, covered in blood that isnt his own, dragging back and the last arm of flesh to his dying grandfather. In his eyes he has become his grandfather.

Part 1

Nobunaga would be an absolute foodie. Would consider himself the harshest food critic ever but would actually love most of the food he'd try (the lack of pickiness is partly due to his rough childhood but it's his nature in general as well).

He'd occasionally comment on Uvo's lack of pickiness and then they'd just (playfully) argue over it for an annoying amount of some time. (They just need an excuse y'all)

Feitan would be a bug enthusiast (ofc that'd include spiders too). You may find him staring at a bug crawling up his sleeve with zero expression on his face because he's just that lost. You'd probably find it dissected with its guts out in a bit but... okay yea there's no but.

He's mostly fascinated by how they can function with such a tiny body but he'd also love how they can scare so many people with their mere existence.

Would definitely *cough cough* torture people with them too, especially the ones with the spider/bug phobias.

He could name like every single bug in existence and might even get in arguments with Shalnark over the right name.

Because Shalnark would love playing the 'know it all'; even though he mostly knows he's not. Sometimes he'd make up facts just to mess with people's nerves. He'd so be the type to screw up the Wikipedia page to prove a point.

The annoying brat of the troupe but he's proud of it so there's nothing you could really do about it.

Bonolenov would be good with kids. Not saying he won't kill them when ordered by the boss, but he'd be pretty nice to them otherwise.

Occasionally he'd find a kid who wouldn't find him so scary but would just go wowowowow and start asking soo many questions. But the kid would be so respectfully sweet that Bono wouldn't feel the slightest offence.

Like we know how he grew up in a tribe so he did have a probably healthy environment with children due to the most likely familial structure of their society.

Chrollo would definitely have an emo poetry writing phase as a teen. Like look at him. How could he not.

He'd be super duper shy about others reading his poetry. Probably killed a bunch of people who tried to read it/make fun of him for it. But he'd occasionally open up a bit and let Pakunoda read some of it he'd deem decent.

what part about bedman (anything - gameplay, story, character/personality, looks) do you think goes overlooked in the fandom? mine is that he's still a kid, despite his galaxy scope intelligence (ah yes trusting the scary clown to help me create the cool world for just me and my awesome sister is the bestest plan ever im so smarty >:3)

It’s one of those weird things where we don’t get his age said Outright, but everyone refers to him with language you’d use when talking to young people, so it’s like. Come On.

I think it’s such a fun aspect of his character that he’s hyperintelligent, but still immature. having a big wrinkled brain doesn’t make you immune to being naive.

other than that, i think there’s a lot to say about bedman’s self-concept that i don’t think is mentioned too often; namely, his disregard for his own life

im typin this in a restaurant bathroom right now, so i’ll keep it brief, but i think that bedman- in both xrd and strive-is shown to not really Value his own life

In xrd, he talks it up a lot, with many lines of his being like “i’m betting my own life for this!” and “i would have put my own life at stake for this no matter what!”

it strikes me as… again, naive of him. he talks about gambling his own life as a means of emphasis—as though it doesn’t matter to him. but if it really didn’t matter to him, he wouldn’t… be using it for emphasis.

this implies to me that on some level, he understands the gravity of throwing around his life, but just doesn’t care, which is sad, and implies that he experiences suicidal ideation to some degree.

and the xrd stuff is all more interpretive, but in his arcade story in strive, it’s a lot more blatant.

bedman? tries to, well, decommission himself by picking fights with those he perceives as Stronger.

he doesn’t stop until delilah directly states she doesn’t want him to go.

and again, it’s up in the air depending on whether or not you interpret the bedframe to Actually Be Haunted By Romeo, but per the devs, there’s a ‘piece of his soul’ in it, so for our intents and purposes here, i’m gonna connect those dots.

romeo’s implied youth and poor self-concept both strike me as connected, in the sense that… how do i put this.

…he’s always struck me as that one kid you knew in sophomore year of high school who you think has a bad home life but also acts like he’s hot shit because he’s in ap calc and frequents r/watchpeopledie, and he wants you to know Exactly How Cool He Is for that, because he’s soo online, and suuuuch a loner, and soooooo good at cod zombies, and totally not sad because he likes it this way because he Goes Against The Grain Of Society. he says that being friendless and lonely is cool and he does it on purpose, because that’s cool. don’t you think that’s cool? please think he’s cool.

Blendin's Game: Blendin Blandin returns to confront Dipper and Mabel in a fight that could trap them in time jail forever.

The Love God: Mabel takes her matchmaking duties to the next level when she steals a love potion from a real love god.

Northwest Mansion Mystery: Pacifica asks Dipper to help get rid of a ghost that is haunting the Northwest mansion before he wreaks havoc on her party.

tbh the whole "i can't focus cause i'm too SMART for this and i'm BORED" is SOO annoying and i hate it cjebfjen that's the most repulsive shit but i realized it's KIND of true tho. it just doesn't feel like OH HO HUM THESE SIMPLETONS PUH i should be doing CALCULUS on david LYNCH Films. something IMPORTANT not sitting in Classe ! it's more like an overall feeling of anxiety and restlessness and sometimes dread or malaise and you don't really know why, sometimes you do find the topic interesting or see inherent value in it but can't get yourself content and engaged with it. usually because your adhd stimulation and novelty demands are out of wack

like when you're adhd some parts of your brain overdevelop to compensate for parts that are underdeveloped for neurotypical society, it's how the brain compensates when a person is blind the brain literally overcompensates other sensory processes and literally grows them while vision areas atrophy, when a person is timeblind it overcompensates other cognitive processes which is silly sounding but TRUE. resource management goes towards often used and prioritized replacement skills, meanwhile time perception and management regions in the frontal lobe that were already underdeveloped stagnate developmentally or atrophy. these replacement skills go way beyond this but part of it is relying on visual, social (tho often hypervigilence or social anxiety) and verbal cues, skills and diagrams, reading comprehension, vocabulary etc. and soon their visual or language processing skills may be very advanced for their age. and subsequently those language and visual parts of the brain struggle to find stimulation in an environment curated to earlier visual and language stages while the same environment overwhelms their underdeveloped skills

the brain is having a hard time trying to adapt to a neurotypical environment and trying to survive and working with what it's got. so one skill or skill area that develops more or faster due to just how your brain is inherently, the brain may latch onto and OVER develop a bit to the point that it is past the point of what the environment demands for and that skill is past the point of most peers. adhd craves stimulation and novelty especially when not medicated, so when major part of your brain is not finding stimulation and novelty that's hard enough as it is. but can be even less manageable when the most powerful and stimulation hungry part of your brain is overcompensated for your age and overdeveloped to an extreme degree. the stimulation input thats coming in as directed to your peer group in that class may be way below your fave brain lobe's scary bulging popeye arm level of overdevelopment and is truly feeling the effects of low dopamine which can be physical sensations of pain sadness and legarthy. you might not consciously feel bored let alone above it but your out of sync development does add to this difficulty in being "under stimulated".

and unfortunately teachers rarely understand that giving that "understimulated" kid more work to do is not the answer as adhd people have underdeveloped executive function skills and tend to thrive at a smaller work load than their peers that is appropriate to their developmental milestone with organizing and planning and breaking work into chunks and goals. so the kid gets overwhelmed and more upset. like definitely start by giving them stimulant medication and access to stim time and sensory breaks even some special interest breaks to resupply dopamine that will uh. go a long way lmao

Ok, since today I'm so annoying I will say something else that I sond like.

Movie are too fast.

They don't let you enjoy the scene anymore.

In some case it's ok to be fast, due maybe to the subject and context of the movie or the scene.

But almost every movie it's too fast.

And the genre that suffer more is to me the horror one.

(I don't watch a lot of romance so probably that one suffer too but I'm not an expert sorry)

A lot of new horror movie are soo boring, it's not even about being scary sometimes, they are just too boring.

And it's happening for two reason.

1 they don't even try to write a plot anymore.

They basically use the same formula over and over, not even because it's a formula to follow but because they are litteraly too scared to do something else.

Sometimes a movie about idk maybe an people falling down in a world where bugs people lines but they act like normal people like some kind of horror twisted alice in wonderland can be way more Interesting than the 100th movie about a ghost in a house that you can actualy see for only 5 minute in the entire film.

2 they are too fast

Like a said before in some scene or in some movie being fast is ok, the context can need to bee everything fast.

Like idk, a movie about people dying in the work place can be fast because it is supposed to represent society and bullshit like that.

But in a lot of horror movie everything is about the suspence.

And today a lot of people don't know how to make it.

They just think that not showing the monster for the entire movie over and over again will make their movie very scary because you don't know what you are supposed to be afraid of.

But they do it over and over thinking that that will create all of the suspance that you need.

And over and over and over and they will forget to put the monster at one point.

They don't even know that you can actualy create suspance while showing the monster.

One film that I love even if it is EXTREMELY slow is the first Alien movie. Go rewatch it please.

If you love the alien saga you know that the first movie is both amazing and both extremely important to the saga.

If it wasn't for that movie do you think people would love the saga just with all of the sequel?

Go watch it again and see how slow it is!

Because its not just slow for the sake of being slow! It also make sense in a storytelling way.

If you haven't ever see the movie go and then come back because I'm gonna talk about it now.

They are all alone. In the space.

Everything is slow but they have just litteraly waked up.

Everything is slow because Everything just started and for now Everything seems fine.

The fact that is slow don't even bothers.

But then.

They go on that plant.

Everything is slow and that scares you.

It's too slow sometimes bad is going to happen.

And then it happen, the face hugger got the guy.

Everything is too fast, so fast that then! It got again slower, but you don't feel safe anymore.

Everything is so slow and yet so fast.

It's slow but you can feel how fast something terrible is going to happen.

And then

Everything seems fine again but it was too fast

Why is the guy fine, why is that thing dead.

Everything is still slow, still building, but it got fine too fast and you can feel something terrible getting closer too fast.

Likes the event of the movie and the horrible thing that is going to happen are going in two different way, like to monster if the movie isn't going to hunt down the characters but the movie itself.

Then shit happend. It was fast again but everyone is too slow, every single bad thing thing is too fast for the protagonist and all of them can only suffer and perish because they are just a slow pray in two way.

They are prey of the alien but they are also prey of the time.

Because everything is again too slow.

In the part where the dude try to hunt that thing with fire and the other guid him through the vent(?)

It's too slow and you can feel it, you are scared because thing are slow and calm when its not supposed.

And then everything is too fast.

And you can feel the pain of the character, the fear because he is not fast enough even to understand when or where that thing will attack him.

And he die to fast, so fast that everything is slow again because its too late for him and you can only go to the others.

And watch them trying their best, try to be ready to fight back, to escape, to be fast.

But they are still too slow.

The movie play with time in an incredible way and it's not the only one.

Old movie use to be slower and sometimes they realy know how to use this slowness.

Watching alien make you feel like a prey that know that something is haunting it.

Because you know you have very few time because the bad guy is fast but yet that time feels so slow.

Today movie don't know how to make you feel that anymore.

The beast and the human go at the same times and the monster do barely anything.

I don't know if anything of what I said make any sense to you but I hope so
