Being someone who read Under The Red Hood and came out with the firm belief that, for Jason, it's not about killing Joker, it's about Jason wanting proof Batman would choose him over the Joker (bc shelia chose the joker). Makes seeing any other media where it's all about just wanting the Joker dead is a teeny bit frustrating. to be honest

Jason could've killed the Joker himself, really, really easily. Jason kidnaps the Joker before the confrontation. I can't open my comic for a reference right now, but it felt like he had the Joker for quite a bit before the confrontation. He had him. He beat him up with a crowbar. He had every single opportunity to kill the Joker himself, but he didn't because that wasn't his goal. Make no mistake, he did plan for the Joker to be dead by the end of it, but do you see what im trying to say here

It's not about making Batman kill either. When Batman says he won't kill, Jason adjusts and goes, 'Let ME kill the Joker or kill me to stop me' instead. The test is all about Batman choosing him. The whole final confrontation is Jason's first death again. The parent, The Joker, and the explosives. It even ends with Jason unable to move as a bomb goes off right next to him again because the parent didn't choose Jason. And instead tried finding an option that'd benefit them and (consequencely) letting the Joker walk, again, lol, lmao <-in agony

So does anybody else ever think about how Loop felt the need to demonstrate that the party's deaths wouldn't have any effect on the loops. I know I do but that's besides the point. Anyway I don't think Loop actually needs to bathe, they just like to feel included.

so i thought it would be cool to make micah a smiley guy! light colored clothes and a more happy personality. but of course, the smiles dont reach his eyes. so i tried makin them look more dull, no shine or nothin, and some tiredness to them.

i also added some references to some of the songs:

- the holes and "usually feels sick" is for pit

- shirt for wings of wax

- "always tired" for every ounce of energy

- deceitful is mostly for a devils trick

(side note, when i say "deceitful" i dont mean in a demonizing way. just want to show that he lies a lot, both to himself and others, about how bad he gets...ya know?)

- anger is for does is sound familiar

- not in the drawing, but during his "good moods" he gets heart pupils for backlit by moonlight

theres also some other smaller details that i added based off of my own depression n stuff,,,cause i do what i want (/lh)

Also!!! Here's some never before seen stuff about this since I remembered. This sketch was actually planned to be a full body pic but I didn't like how it was going so I just quickly slapped some colors on the upper body cause that was the only part of I liked LOL

hello! hope this isnt an invasive question or anything, ive been following your art blog for a while, an i've noticed you tag your art that has "you" in it as "neptune" is that a name you went by before, or something else? :o sorry i know its a little weird to ask !! hope youre doing alright ! 🦆

so I fully realized/had a name for my transness at age 11 or so, but I didn't pick my childhood nickname of Cheye as my name until I graduated high school I believe.... i can't remember

Anyway between those 2 points I tried some names but they never felt right. But I like organization and needed a tag for my Self drawings on my art blog. I'm a pisces and the ruling planet for that sign is Neptune (along with it being one of my fave planets) so that was the tag label I use(d) for drawings of me. I didn't have to wrack my brain for several years for another name I'd actually go by, and it's also not a name/label I dislike. Neutral.

I've kept it as "neptune" instead of changing it to Cheye for the same reason that sometimes when I'll talk about scenarios with myself and OCs I'll refer to myself as smunker instead of "me" or "cheye" (even when im not talking about their fur forms)....i just think its embarrassing to "admit" or call attention to it being Me in 90% of the stuff i make LOL its more sensible to refer to myself as a character
