since everything went down and the multiverse has been saved, reader and Logan have been living with Wade. Because of that he’s gotten an inside look into their relationship. I think it would be so cute to see reader and Logan’s relationship but from wade’s perspective. Like he’ll (respectfully) watch them as reader has their head on Logan’s thigh as they show him some random funny TikTok and he sort of just rolls his eyes at it. Or Wade comes home to find the both of them passed out on the couch together while a random movie is on in the background. Just things that are really domestic, sweet, and fluffy. I think it would just be really sweet to see their relationship from a different perspective.
Domestic Bliss: A Wade Wilson Retrospective
Wade’s POV
So, I’ve been crashing at Casa de Logan for a while now. You’d think I’d have better things to do than to hang around with a grumpy Canadian mutant and their too-good-for-this-world partner, but let’s be honest—my life’s a circus, and sometimes, you just need to take a break from being the main act. Plus, it’s not like I’m going to get a better view of the Logan and Reader Show anywhere else. Honestly, it’s the most entertaining thing this side of the multiverse, and I’ve seen some Weird stuff.
Take today, for instance. I stroll into the living room, probably covered in blood—I mean, it’s a day ending in ‘y,’ so what else is new?—and there they are: Logan stretched out on the couch like it’s a throne, and Reader draped across his lap like a very happy, very contented blanket.
Reader’s got their phone in hand, showing Logan something that I’m sure is super important. Their head’s on his thigh, which—by the way—is probably the safest place on Earth, considering all the things those thighs have crushed. And Logan? He’s pretending to be all grumpy and uninterested, but I can see the way the corners of his mouth twitch, like he’s just about to smile but doesn’t want to ruin his image.
“Check this out,” Reader says, and their voice has this lilting, sweet tone to it that makes me want to gag in the most respectful way possible. They’re showing him a TikTok, and I catch a glimpse—some stupid cat video, classic Reader—and Logan, good ol’ fashioned Logan, just rolls his eyes. But—and this is the kicker—he watches the whole thing. Doesn’t pull away, doesn’t pretend like he’s not interested. Nope, he’s in it for the long haul, just for them.
I feel my heart do that thing where it’s like, ‘Hey, Wade, remember when you had feelings?’ and I quickly squash it down. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
“Really, Wade?” Logan grumbles, noticing me hovering in the doorway. “Got nothin’ better to do?”
“Not when you two are putting on this much of a show,” I reply, leaning against the doorframe with a smirk. “Seriously, the domestic fluff is off the charts. I’m gonna need insulin if this keeps up.”
Reader snickers, throwing a pillow at me, which I catch because—duh, reflexes. Logan just huffs, but there’s no real heat behind it. If anything, I think he likes that I’m around. I mean, who wouldn’t?
A couple of days later, I get home from one of my little escapades—nothing major, just the usual chaos—and I’m greeted by a sight that nearly makes me drop my katanas. There’s Logan, all six-foot-whatever of him, curled up on the couch with Reader nestled against his chest. They’re both out cold, dead to the world, with some random movie playing in the background. The screen’s showing some cheesy 80s action flick, which, come to think of it, is probably what knocked them out in the first place.
I stand there, just watching for a minute. And I don’t say this often—like, ever—but it’s... nice. There’s something about seeing those two like this, all tangled up together, that makes the world feel a little less messed up. Like, yeah, we’ve been through hell and back saving the multiverse, but at least there’s this. At least there’s them.
I could ruin the moment. I could wake them up, crack a joke, or pull some prank. But I don’t. Instead, I quietly back out of the room, leaving them to their peaceful little bubble.
A few days later, I walk in on them again. This time, they’re in the kitchen. Logan’s making breakfast—pancakes, because apparently, he’s secretly a domestic god—and Reader’s perched on the counter, swinging their legs and chatting about something mundane. Logan’s grumbling about the batter consistency, and Reader’s laughing, this soft, sweet sound that makes Logan’s eyes crinkle at the corners.
“Morning, sunshine!” I announce, because subtlety is for suckers. “Wade,” Logan growls, but it’s the kind of growl that has zero bite. Reader just grins at me, throwing a piece of pancake my way, which I catch in my mouth because I’ve got skills.
“Y’know,” I say, leaning against the fridge, “if I didn’t know better, I’d say you two are disgustingly perfect together. It’s like watching a rom-com, except with more hair and less awkward misunderstandings.”
Logan just rolls his eyes and flips a pancake. “You stickin’ around, or you got places to be?”
“Why, you gonna miss me if I go?” I tease, but honestly? I’m not going anywhere. Not anytime soon.
Logan doesn’t answer, just grunts in that Logan way of his, but I see the way his hand brushes against Reader’s knee as he moves past them, like it’s the most natural thing in the world. And maybe it is, for them.
Maybe that’s the thing about them—about Logan and Reader. They’ve found something here, something that’s real and solid, even after everything we’ve been through. And maybe that’s why I keep sticking around, why I keep watching. Because in a world full of crazy, this right here is something worth staying for.

Hello, this is my first time requesting any sort of writing, but I've had this idea for a couple days now.
So the idea is, a todoroki x reader. Where reader (preferably fem) is obsessed with mugs, and it's pretty unexpected with people, because she has a resting-B*-face, and is very guarded due to seeing how twisted and weird people can be.
Anyway, in my mind maybe it's todoroki, deku, and bakugo's turn to go on the weekly shopping run, and they're down the dish isle (for some reason), and todoroki sees this mug he thinks reader would like because it has her favorite character on it. So they finish the trip, and he brings the mug to reader, she's so happy and excited about this mug that she's just sitting there unable to express how happy she is so she's tears up a bit, but looks at him and out of nowhere basically tackles, this man into a hug.
That was my idea you don't have to use it, but I just thought this was so cute and had to see it written. Thank you, have a nice day/evening/night ☺️
A Mug for a Hug
Todoroki x fem!reader, established relationship, collections/hyperfixations, fluff !!
notes: thanks so much for the request !! i hope i was able to put your idea into words, even just a bit !! i also used third person for this one, just for the sake of switching perspectives between the reader, Todoroki, and narration !!
Come the end of the week, each of the class 1-A students were given their usual chores for around heights alliance - the method coordinated and conducted by none other than the class president himself.
Insisting that everyone pull their weight, Ida charted who would make dinner, clean the common room, take out the trash, gather groceries, and the like.
This week, Y/N's eyes scanned the posting, her duty was to help make meals every other day, alongside Mina.
Smiling to herself, she fortunately seemed to get one of the best outcomes of this random chore raffle.
As her eyes carried on looking over the paper, they landed on a pair of three names listed below “buying snacks and groceries”:
Midoriya, Bakugo, & Todoroki
Oh goodness.
Those three definitely won't make it back with the food intact.
Seemingly noticing the situation he was in himself, Todoroki looked blankly at the board, then looked over to Y/N.
“Hey, Sho, please try to keep all the food intact, okay?” Y/N chuckled, egging her boyfriend on a bit. “If you don’t, Mina and I won’t be able to make dinner for everyone.”
He smiled softly, “I’ll do my best, but you might have to bring it up with Bakugo. I’m sure he’s the one who really needs that warning.”
“Yeah, I’ll warn him as well.” She rolled her eyes, brows furrowing already at the thought of the conversation.
“Well, good luck. I’ll see you when I get back, alright?”
“Yeah.” She smiled, waving him off as he went down the hall.
Later that day, post-warning scolding, the three boys had managed to, rather uneventfully, gather all the groceries they needed.
As Bakugo yelled at Midoriya for the shopping list, Todoroki made his way down the adjacent aisle, biding his time as the other two double checked the cart.
The shelves of the neighboring aisle were lined with glass, a variety of unique ceramics sitting on top.
There were hand-made bowls, hand-painted plates, printed jars, and, yet, one thing in particular caught his eye.
Near the end-cap of the aisle was a small row of mugs, each with a custom print of a character across it.
He picked up one, smiling to himself, as he thought about the collection Y/N had in her room.
Keeping her interests to herself, Todoroki reminisced of the time she happily went around showing off her trinkets and collection to him.
It made him feel truly a part of her life - being trusted to see such an open and earnest side of her.
He picked up the mug with her f/c on it, running his hand over it gently, before going back to the others to finish checking out.
By the time the trio made it back to the dorms, evening had crept its way in.
In the kitchen stood Y/N and Mina, carefully preparing a broth for dinner while waiting for the remaining ingredients to make their way back.
The two laughing to themselves, Mina happily remarked when she saw the other three walking towards the kitchen, bags of groceries in tow.
“Well it took you boys long enough!”
“Seriously,” Y/N chimed in, a smile on her face, “did you get lost in that store or what?”
“JUST TAKE THE DAMN GROCERIES-”
A loud thunk was heard as some of the bags hit the table, Bakugo storming off.
Midoriya’s face paled as he went to make sure all the jars were still intact, rapidly apologizing for the actions that weren't his own.
“Again, I’m really sorry about Kacchan! I hope you guys can make something good with what we bought, though! Please let me know if you need any help!”
The freckled boy bowed again, and ran off after Bakugo, likely insisting the hot-head apologize as well.
Left behind to help unload the dishelved bags, Todoroki put things away in the pantry one by one, chiming into the girls’ conversation.
As he reached the end of the bags, he carefully unwrapped the ceramic mug he had tucked safely away, and softly reached out for Y/N.
“Hey, I thought I’d get you something while we were out.” He smiled, showing it to her as she turned to meet his face.
“I thought a mug with your f/c would be a good addition to your collection… though, if you already have it, I can return it and find you a different one..” he trailed off.
Awestruck, Y/N stood for a moment, not knowing what to do.
Her eyes watered, as her heart warmed.
She hadn’t known that Shoto would care so much about her interests like that.
No one ever did before - in fact, it was usually the exact opposite.
People would normally shy away whenever she became more open, so she often put up a mask, keeping what made her happy safe and away from anyone who dared taint it.
But, when she started dating Shoto, she settled on being herself.
She wanted to be herself, with him.
So she tried, and gave him a glimpse into her world.
He seemed happy when seeing her collection, and listening to her rant, even asking a few questions along the way.
Yet. after that, he hadn't brought it up again.
So, Y/N let it be.
But here he stood, smiling at her, a brand new f/c mug in his hands for her collection.
He cared.
He really cared.
A tear fell down her cheek as she ran into him, wrapping her arms tightly around his body.
Todoroki stumbled a bit at the sudden hug, adjusting himself so as to not damage the mug at all.
“Sho..” Y/N looked up at him, smiling wide, “thank you.”
“Of course,” his eyes shone back, as he quickly tightened the embrace.
The two haphazardly let go of each other, as Todoroki passed the new mug along to Y/N.
Within seconds her energy had shot through the roof, and she couldn’t stop talking about this f/c mug.
“I mean, HOW DID YOU FIND THIS??” She asked, carefully looking at the print. “This one was a limited run, and somehow you stumbled into it at the GROCERY store??”
“Well it was just sitting on the shelf..”
“Really??”
She ran over to Mina, proudly showing off the newest prized piece of her collection.
“Mina, just look at what Shoto got me! Isn’t it the best?”
Mina laughed at her enthusiasm, “it really is! Why don't we wash it off and you can use it as your glass for dinner tonight?”
Y/N stood with her mouth wide open, her invisible tail wagging at the idea.
“HOW DID I NOT THINK OF THAT??”
As the kitchen continued to fill with the warm aroma of food and the sweet sound of three friends laughing together, Y/N hugged her boyfriend once more, new mug in hand, and new, real, memories being made together.

Gojo Satoru had a complex over not having been able to stop Geto Suguru.
Stop him from what, exactly?
Killing humans? Not really. I’ve talked about it numerous times. Gojo didn’t have an issue over the lives of humans/others back then. He barely acknowledged the issue with it when they met in front of the KFC.
Conducting the Night Parade of 100 Demons? He could’ve pursued them. Seriously. Takeshita street crepe shop? Did he really not know where Geto was? Where his “hideout” was in broad daylight which Geto took over and has been seeing humans for exorcisms? Yeah. No.
Leaving him. Ahem. Being unable to save someone who doesn’t want to be saved. Because he cannot save Geto, killing him isn’t the answer either. So he chose to let him live and let them be the strongest together, but apart. To share the dream of reformation, done separately. Also, direct reference to chapter 261. And chapter 236 with Gojo wishing Geto was there.
Gojo Satoru had a complex over being unable to stop Geto Suguru from leaving him.
It is as simple as that. But it lands so much harder when it is spelled out like that. Is it just me?
It seriously is the only answer.
It makes so much sense that his whole character book has Geto Suguru all over it. So much so that I came across so many Japanese tweets joking about the number of times he was referenced, that it’s a Geto Suguru book, his face placement on the character relationship chart was like that of a wife’s, etc.
It was really amusing.
I take for granted my understanding of the word “complex” and saw others trying to analyse the meaning as well. I stopped for a moment to reset my perspective from a psychological background, and rethink from what could be a “wasei-eigo” perspective. But it seems like the interpretation is similar.
Either way, his complex over “stopping” Geto Suguru is no less than, put very simply, a Geto Suguru complex.
That man just loved Geto a lot and I don’t think it dilutes his character to say that he was heavily influenced by Geto, but rather we see the depth and capacity of his love to grow through the loss and love of someone.
People change you. It’s not abnormal. If could be a lover, a parent, a family member, a pet, a child, a manager... again, it’s not abnormal.
Gojo chose to live like that because it comforted him and gave him a purpose beyond his own strength. Seeing Geto Suguru in himself, in people around him, etc. was a form of him understanding and applying humanity - allowing him to get along with others and be less lonely.
He took it and made it his own. Of course he had some personal agency. He became a teacher using that agency. Gege jokes he has no personality - but let’s just say every person is assigned 100 points to channel into things in life. Gojo just uses all 100 points he’s been given in two things - jujutsu and Geto Suguru. His students loosely fall in between the two categories. Other people might use their points differently based on what they’re born out ofc. But let’s not forget that Gojo was primed to be clan head and most powerful from birth.
Who can blame him? His agency was limited because he never had freedom in the first place. His capacity for freedom could have devastating consequences... eveyrone was lucky that Gojo was who he was and not a sociopath.

while i originally didn't think much about s2's story
after seeing your posts about hypno callie i am 100% with ya
fact that it gets misinterpreted so much is agh. painful
Im glad that I was able to inspire you to change your mind!!! I used to not think much of Splatoon 2's story, too, until the autism in my brain whispered, "Callie Cuttlefish...."
(I'm about to get ranty in this post, so get ready.... if you wanna move along and don't wanna see someone get upset over a squid woman then by all means do so!)
I think the main reasons as to why the story of Splatoon 2 gets misinterpreted a lot is because in media circles, people will use the words "brainwashing" and "hypnosis" interchangeably and they genuinely don't know what hypnosis is actually like. Nintendo and the Splatoon devs probably don't know either. Like I don't think in Splatoon 2's rushed development cycle they bothered to look up the definition of hypnosis and they just made up the Hypnoshades to make Callie "evil" in a quick and easy way because "ooooo hypnosis is mind control/brainwashing ooo" WHICH IS FALSE!!!! VERY VERY FALSE!!!!!
Splatoon 2 was most likely rushed and it impacted Callie's storyline. You can clearly see what kind of story Splatoon 2 was going for from the concept art and Squid Sisters Stories prequel series. The tale of two cousins drifting apart and Callie growing resentment in her heart....
While we SORTA got that in the final game, Callie's arc got muffled due to a lack of understanding of what hypnosis actually is and media out of Splatoon continuing to use "brainwashing" as a cheap and lazy way to explain things which most likely had a strong influence in Splatoon 2's development, despite a lot of evidence proving that's not what happened to Callie... and there's not much we can do about it... ugh.
They also hid a lot of important story details behind optional content and social media posts. The sunken scrolls explaining Callie's growing mental issues, the relationship chart which disproves that Callie was kidnapped, etc, etc....
Also people tend to take Marie's perspective very objectively because we follow her as Agent 4. So when she says that Callie was "squidnapped," people believe it. When Marie says Callie was "brainwashed" in the rematch fight, people believe it. Including inkipedia and people who analyse splatoon.... the people who seek out objective information take the overthinking and worried Marie with a lack of knowledge as the well of truth.
Slight tangent but, you know what's kinda funny to me? Inkipedia wants to be very objective on Splatoon yeah? Well on Callie's main page it says, "Callie went to the octarians willingly," yet another parts of the site, it says, "she was kidnapped." Hmm... and of course, them flip-flopping the words "hypnosis" and "brainwashing" despite those words being OBJECTIVELY TWO SEPARATE THINGS THAT CANNOT BE USED INTERCHANGEABLY!!! But they use brainwashing more because Nintendo NoA used it.... oh well, tangent aside...
That's why so many people fuck up and you know what? I don't REALLYYYY blame the common fan over this. I dont! It would be unfair of me to get mad at someone who doesn't know any better because Splatoon 2 did an AWFUL job at properly fleshing out Callie!!!! When people hear what I have to say and either agree or respectfully disagree but still get my points, i get happy, and im glad more people are looking into Callie in a different light! She was treated like TRASHHHH for 7 fucking years!!!
Im only mad at certain parts of a certain wiki, and people who go over the timeline and make 5 hour videos and claim that Callie was KIDNAPPED DESPITE THERE BEING A FREELY AVAILABLE FUCKING RELATIONSHIP CHART THAT LITERALLY DISPROVES IT!!! BUT NO!!! YOU JUST HADDDDD TO READ A SINGLE INKIPEDIA ARTCLE AND YOU DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! Putting in so much effort yet these loud voices in the community drop the fucking ball on Callie because she's silly.... ugh...
If I see another person in 2024 that says that Callie was kidnapped.... I swear to FUCKINGGGGGG god bro....
WHY DO NINTENDO PUSH THAT SHIT THEMSELVES?!?!? WHY DO THEY SAY CALLIE WAS KIDNAPPED?!?! WHY DO YOU WANT THE OCTARIANS TO BE SO FUCKING EVIL AND UNREDEEMABLE?!?!?! YOU GUYS MADE OCTO EXPANSION FOR FUCK SAKE!!! ITS SO ANNOYING!!! IM STILL NOT OVER THIS!!
UGHHHH!!!! When will it end.... I'm gonna keep repeating this stuff until I DIE it seems!!!
I dont wanna seem like I'm above anyone btw. I dont want to be like that. I'm just... really autistic about this sort of shit and I get very very picky about people's word choices and stuff when it comes to this.
I just want a character I love to be treated better... okay? That's all... it is getting better which I'm VERY happy about but... the loudest voices in the community, the people who analyse stuff and make timeline videos and analytical videos, still say the same bullshit since 2017 and I'm getting tired....

Hey bestie, it’s been a while!! I hope your well💗 I saw requests were open and this idea came to me after watching some old segments. Could you do a love triangle between reader, trish stratus, and Jeff Hardy?☺️
hey bestieee im doing well!!! it's been a while indeed :). hope you're doing well too! so sorry this took a while! BUT THIS REQUEST...i can't explain how good this sounds LMAO I WAS LIKE “AHHHH—“...i may have gotten a little out of hand with the sadness on this one? i also kinda based it off this chart , with jeff as A, reader as B, trish as C. reader’s feelings for trish are conflicting and she kinda doesn’t think they’re real, therefore this is very jeff centered. and also kayfabe compliant lol
you guys can have an imagine..as a treat :3 alexa, pls set the tone for us *lights dim dramatically*
YOU FELT SUFFOCATED whenever they were around. You hate Jeff. You hate Trish. You hate both of them. You hate how close they are and you wish they could never see each other again....but sometimes wishes can’t be granted.
"Trish Stratus..she's just horrible, isn't she?"
Victoria’s voice comes from behind you. She sets a neatly manicured hand onto your right shoulder and leans into your ear. “I mean, just look at them.”
You didn’t want to look and she realizes this. Her hand reaches over to grab your face to forcefully turn it in their direction.
They’re standing there, holding hands and talking to each other with the biggest smiles in the world.
“Doesn’t it just make you sick? They’re rubbing it in your face, [Name].” Victoria says. “If I were you, I’d take that pretty little face….and smash it right against the mat.”
You sigh.
Her words were clearly fueled by hate. This wasn’t advice, this was just because she hated Trish. You don’t think you’ll ever get the reason as to why. Even when you accidentally walked in on one of her meltdowns and she babbled to you about how horrible she was, you were still at a loss.
“Just because you have a vendetta against her doesn’t mean that I do. She’s my—“
“We can see it in your eyes!” Stevie Richards appears from out nowhere, startling you. You’re trying to do your makeup, goddamn it. Why’d they have to come and bother you?
You whip your head around to your right. Stevie’s staring at you with nothing but a grin. He sets his hand on your left shoulder and shakes it lightly.
“C’mon. Everyone, and I mean everyone, knows you have a thing for that Hardy guy! Flower is right. I’m sure they make you sick!
Tch. Yeah, right. The only thing that everyone knows is that him and Trish were madly in love all of a sudden. And now that you think about it, the only thing that makes you sick was Stevie always calling Victoria that cheesy nickname.
“Hardy boy,” You correct. “And I don’t have a thing for him.”
You can see the reflection of the other two in the mirror. They’re not very convinced.
It’s not a thing. It never was a thing, you just think Jeff is pretty neat.
To put it in perspective, Jeff Hardy is someone you can rely on. Jeff Hardy is someone you can consider a hero. You really just think he’s neat for saving your neck a few times when it came to people ganging up on you.
And somehow, you feel like you owe him something in return. Him being with Trish only stalled your returning favor even further.
It’s driving you crazy. You haven’t talked to Jeff in days. All you do is avoid him. In other words, you’ve quit him, gone cold turkey.
Those two were getting closer and closer day by day and you just didn’t understand why.
Trish was your friend, best friend, and hadn’t even told you what was going on. The moment you heard the she kissed him right in the middle of the ring had made you really confused, to say the least.
Somehow, you felt yourself harboring some feelings for her as well. It was strange. You don’t really know why, but when Trish had started to tag with you, save you, (stating that she didn't want to see her friend in trouble), and hung around with you backstage, you started to think about her more often.
Things are difficult with her around. Things are difficult with the both of them around.
It’s the reason why you stopped talking to him and limited your interactions with her. This was for your own sanity, even if it wasn’t working out so well.
It truly is hard to believe you could find yourself in this situation.
Lita would constantly tell you how much Jeff missed you. For someone who was supposed to be “resting“and “healing up” because of her injury, she sure was hanging out backstage a lot more lately.
What makes matters worse is that her and Trish were best friends as well, so you’d occasionally hear her pass along messages. Ugh, you really wish she would stop telling you these things. It only makes you feel worse.
“I think you’re lying, [Name].” Victoria outright says. “You like him, no, love him. And seeing that plastic, fake, no good…” She has to stop herself from getting too wound up, taking a breath. “Seeing her makes you angry, doesn’t it?”
She’s right. You hate that she’s right. It does make you angry, but it makes you more sad than anything. You won’t admit it. You refuse.
“What makes me angry is the both of you trying to wind me up.” You throw your lip gloss to the ground. “Let me clarify. I do not and never will have a thing for Jeff Hardy!”
Perhaps your voice was louder than anticipated because suddenly, the hallway had gotten quiet. You had attracted unwanted attention, including looks from Trish and Jeff.
You take a deep breath. Victoria didn’t even know the whole story, so there’s no reason for you to act like this. As long as she hasn’t caught on about your thoughts about Trish, everything is fine and dandy.
Victoria only lets out a cackle, as does Stevie. They just couldn’t help it! The look on your face was just hilarious and you couldn’t have been anymore obvious with your true intentions about him.
Though you want to ask them what the hell was so funny, you realize there’s nothing you can do to save face, so you just storm off. You don’t think you can ever show your face backstage again after that.
The sound of footsteps behind you cause you to stop. “If the both of you are following me, I swear to god, I’ll—“
“It’s neither.” It’s Trish, all dressed up in her red ring gear. Her and Jeff were both dressed up, actually. “Were they bothering you? I can deal with them if you need.”
You wave your hand. “No, it’s no big deal.” In response, she gives you a smile, one that genuinely makes you feel sick.
There’s suddenly a strange tension in the room as Trish lifts up her hand to bite on her index fingernail. There are little details that you feel like you hadn’t noticed about her before in that moment, irrelevant as it was.
The way she curled her hair was different. Maybe it was the amount of lipgloss she applied, which seemed significantly noticeable.
The look on her face gives you the impression she’s not nervous at all, if anything, she seems a bit gleeful. “…So,” You feel like you already know what’s coming as she speaks up. “…I didn’t know you had a thing for Jeff…?”
There’s a teasing tone behind her voice, which makes you just want to quite literally leave the country and change your name. Dramatic, yes, but you feel like this is too much.
“Jeff is,” You have to pause for a minute, trying to phrase things carefully. “He’s cool. What brought you to that conclusion? I don’t have a thing for him..”
Trish probably couldn’t tell that you were in denial. “For one, your obvious yelling in the hallway. But if you say you don’t, I believe you.”
And speak of the devil, because he starts to come over to you two without a care in the world. He reaches out to hold Trish’s hand and you have to turn your attention anywhere but there.
“Hey, [Name].” Jeff greets. Honestly, he’s happy to see you. It’s been too long since you’ve spoken to him.
“Hi.” You come off bitter, but you do your best to mask any of it with a forced smile.
For some reason, Jeff feels like he’s over the moon, even if you had only greeted him. “How are you doing? Lita told me that you weren’t doing so well.“
“She’s not?” Trish turns over to look at you with a frown. “You aren’t? What’s wrong?”
Fucking Lita, again with this! This is exactly why you wish she’d just be quiet. You found yourself in a really awkward place because of her. “She’s wrong. I’m fine, like way fine.”
Jeff nods. On another note, he smelt like so much paint. If you looked closely enough, it was almost like it was fresh. You point this out in attempt to shift the topic. “You painted yourself again, huh? The colors are nice,”
The compliment you had given him about the colors had made him feel as if he was getting somewhere.
“Yeah. Sooner or later, I’ve gotta paint something on you. Pick any color and I’ll do it. Wherever you want.” He says. “You’re the canvas.”
Trish smiles. “He’s really good at it. But he’s also really good at getting it all over me..” She giggles, looking down at her hand.
There was definitely chemistry and you feel like you don’t belong. It pains you. “Hey, I just noticed. Do you two have a match tonight or something?”
“We do!” Trish chimes. “It’s funny you say that. It’s against Victoria and Stevie Richards. Don’t worry, we’ll kick their butt for you. Speaking of which, I think we have to go to gorilla. Let's go, Jeff.”
“Have a good match.” You wave. They both thank you and leave you be, but you can see them talking on their own as they head down the corridor.
You’re alone with your thoughts once more, that is until a sickeningly sweet voice had made you groan.
“Oh sweet, sweet [Name].” Victoria coos, reaching over to caress your cheek. You swipe her hand away and she laughs. “I think that was so rude. The audacity of him, right? Just showing up with her like that in front of you.”
You just stare at her.
She continues on, knowing that she’s got you right where she wants. “Now that you know we have a match against them...come with us.”
It sounds more like a command than a request and she’s smiling all the while. “Having them lose would make them feel like they’ve lost everything."
Is that really true? No, is that what you really want? You're hesitant. “I don’t know, it seems a little—“
She quickly cuts you off. “You can trust me, [Name]. We’re friends.”
Friends. You’ve heard that word a lot lately. But you feel as if you had no other choice, you had to trust Victoria. So, you end up following her to gorilla in hopes of getting what you want.
When it was your turn, commentary referred to you as something akin to a lost puppy. You were clearly hesitating, taking painfully slow steps down the ramp.
Stevie has to rush back to grab you by the arm and pull you down the ramp a bit faster, which makes you yelp. “Ow, ow, ow! You’re grabbing me too tight—!” He pays no mind to your complaint, instead presenting you to the duo in the ring as if you were a trophy.
Trish and Jeff were confused. Really confused. Why were you out here with them? The two pass whispers amongst each other while Stevie joins Victoria in the ring.
You can’t look them in the eye, so you try and focus on Stevie as he’s the one to start the match with Jeff. As soon as they lock up, you let out a shrill for Stevie.
It almost makes Jeff break it up, so Stevie quickly takes advantage and stiffs him a bit. You lean your head onto the apron. It's going to be a long one..
So far, Victoria and Stevie weren’t doing too well. Trish and Jeff were completely dominating them and it makes you irritated. You want to help them out a bit. It’s Victoria and Trish in the ring while Jeff and Stevie were going at it outside.
Trish irish whips Victoria into the corner, and the latter brings up her knee to slam right into Trish’s face. As a rebound, Trish decides to hit the Stratusphere once Victoria starts to climb onto the top rope.
Alright, you can’t keep watching anymore. You absolutely have to interfere! Once she grabs her from off of the ground and starts heading towards the rope, you already know she’s about to do Stratusfaction.
In an attempt to stop her, you hop up onto the apron. The referee tries to stop you from getting in in the meanwhile. It’s clear that she hesitates coming towards your side, which gives Victoria enough time to try and reverse it into a Widow’s Peak.
Trish is able to maneuver her way back out of it though, much to your surprise. And instead of hesitating any further, she grabs Victoria by the back of her hair and uses you as leverage for her finisher. It hurt like hell once you hit the ground.
…Actually, you may have landed wrong. Almost immediately, a shot of pain had shot up your right leg, making you curl up and grab onto it. The crowd to let out a gasp.
‘[Name] falling off the apron, by god, that was a nasty fall!’ JR calls. ‘This may be bad news!’
On the other side of him, Jerry cries out. ‘Oh no! Come over here, [Name]! I’ll nurse it better!’
You don’t know what sucks more, the sound of the bell ringing along with Trish’s theme music or the fact you may have been injured. What if you’re taken off of TV? You feel like you’ll have to share your time off with Lita, who would probably drive you insane the entire time.
This is really bad. What starts to make it worse is that Stevie starts to stomp over to you. You can barely stand, which makes him yank you up harshly. He guided you over to the ring and pushed you in.
Now, you’ll have to answer to Victoria. As you try and use the ropes to get up, she stands over you, jabbing a finger in your face. “What the hell was that, [Name]?!”
“I was trying to help you!” It’s safe to say you’re afraid of Victoria right now. She's so unstable, you hated to be on her bad side. "I was!"
"We LOST!" She screams. "That bitch won! And it's all because of you! Guess what?! You're going to pay!"
Shit. Stevie grabs you and lifts you up, keeping you in a hold so that he’s got your arms hooked behind you. Victoria felt that she had no other choice but to punish you.
She reels her arm back in preparation. On instinct, you close your eyes.
…But nothing ever comes. You hear the crowd begin to cheer louder and you open your eyes to see that Trish had slid back into the ring and knocked her down. They move out of the ring, giving the other two enough space.
Of course, Jeff came back, easily maneuvering over to you and Stevie. He lets you go and you crash onto the ground, only able to watch them go at it.
Your leg was definitely busted. You can barely move! Luckily, the fight between the boys in the ring hadn’t last too long. Stevie rolls out of the ring to escape, while Jeff quickly comes over to you.
“Ya’ alright?”
"Besides my leg feeling like it's broken, sure, I'm alright." You sarcastically remark. He starts to walk and you try to hop along with him. “Dude, you’re going to have to slow down.”
“Sorry.” He quickly apologizes, slowing his speed so that you’re comfortable. You note that he’s not as harsh as Stevie was. He’s trying to guide you to the very edge of the ring.
…But he suddenly stops halfway before you get there. “What’re you doing?” You ask.
Jeff doesn’t reply.
Will he’ll regret this later? It didn’t matter. Before you can question him again, he reaches over to grab your face and brings you in for a quick kiss.
You don’t even know what to do. It was so fast, you didn’t even get the opportunity to decide whether you wanted to kiss back or not.
Perhaps it’s a random act of kindness. Maybe even an act of sympathy? You’re not even sure. You just look dumbfounded.
That’s the first time he’s ever done that. He goes back to helping you out of the ring without a word and you feel like it’s for the best.
Somehow, you have to fight the growing smile on your face, despite how much guilt may lie beneath.
Jeff Hardy is a strange individual, that’s for sure. But you know that he’ll always be a hero at the end of the day.

arcobaleno adult heights via estimation based on canon (listing at the end if you don't care about how I estimate them.)
okay. first off, we only have the eaisest to estimate; fon. in the below panel, we see fon next to hibari;
fon is around the same height - he's in a pose that would make him draw himself taller (beginning of a fighting stance, better shown in chapter 371.) so I think it's safe to say they're the same height, without about an inch or two as a margin of error. and, luckily, hibari has a canon height: 5'5"
yeah. I wasn't expecting fon to be that short either
next is also pretty easy, since we see fon next to mammon a few times.
in both adult and baby form, mammon is consistently shorter than fon. I'd say about 2-3 inches or so. this places mammon about 5'4" (2 inch difference, fon being 5'6") or 5'3" (3 inch difference, fon being 5'5".)
let's round down, because I've already done this with fon so. consistency.
so, thus far, the chart is looking
Mammon: 5'3", Fon: 5'5"
okay, colonello is a little of a battle. the only people we see near adult colonello is iemitsu. unfortunately, colonello is laying the entire time in every panel we see him near iemitsu. he is, also, in pretty heavy perspective. luckily, I found this one panel where it wasn't as bad, and did some. messy. estimation of his height based off iemitsu (roughly outlined how many heads could fit in iemitsu, measured out colonello's heads the same, and accounted for the small part I couldn't measure and stacked that on top of colonello's count. seen. below. if that makes sense:)
and putting their height difference into a simulator-
colonello is, roughly, 5'11". and I do mean really roughly. so, this far, it's looking:
Mammon: 5'3", Fon: 5'5", Colonello: 5'11"
next is reborn.
reborn is also quite hard, mostly because his only measurements are iemitsu at a very long distance - and tsuna while they are both crouching.
I did not want to have to measure out iemitsu again. and, luckily, we're far enough in I can finally pull some of my ace cards out;arcobaleno line ups.
perspective is a little rough - but reborn and colonello are roughly the same height. the hat can confuse things a little, but I'd say reborn is about 1-2 inches off of colonello's height. (5'9 or 6'1.)
I know I've been scewing down so far, but eyeballing it and keeping perspective in mind - reborn seems to be a little taller than colonello. I'll still round down, though. so 6'0.
so, the list looks:
Mammon: 5'3", Fon: 5'5", Colonello: 5'11", Reborn: 6'0"
and, looking back at the lineups - verde is pretty obviously the tallest. like both times. by a pretty decent margin. despite always finding a way to loom in the back of crowds. probably 6'2" minimum, and like. 6'5" max. lets meet in the middle and say 6'3" ½.
uni is the shortest, and luce is unclear due to perspective. I do not want to chart out their exact heights - but if it helps for anyone else, uni seems to be three inches or so shorter than mammon.
skull: I forgot about him. he's roughly mammon and fon's height. I'd say he's probably between them - which, here, looks like 5'4".
lal mirch: I am So Sorry Lal. I forgot about her for a second. anyways, going off of these :
lal was at, like, colonello's chin. around mammon's height, likely. I'll say 5'3 because I Cannot make another height estimation chart. one was enough.
whole list:
Mammon: 5'3"
Lal Mirch: 5'3"
Skull: 5'4"
Fon: 5'5"
Colonello: 5'11"
Reborn: 6'0"
Verde: 6'3" ½
extra, assuming tallest possible heights for all:
Mammon: 5'4"
Lal Mirch: 5'4"
Skull: 5'5"
Fon: 5'6"
Colonello: 5'11" (still. lol)
Reborn: 6'1"
Verde: 6'5"

aah, I wish Jacob had been allowed to talk more about 'truth and falsehood' on the show. I know he was never gonna give specific spoilers, but it seems some fans are still in denial about Louis being an unreliable narrator at all. The fact that these kinds of discussions were happening behind the scenes suggests the cast knew from day 1 that something about season 1's narrative was false or misleading, they just didn't know exactly what.
Yeah.... I saw some posts around^^. (And the podcast host also pointed out that Louis was an unreliable narrator...)
I mean, it kinda feels like some kind of "gag order" has dropped away, because Jacob (and Sam) have been very blunt about that (and the Loustat relationship) in the last few interviews, but actually the fact that they all were discussing (and therefore knowing) what was true, and not is, actually, nothing new:
"Whenever I talked about something that Louis had said or that was in the script, because this show is Louis’ recollection of events, Sam would just be like, “Lie. Lie. That’s a lie. Did that happen? Is it real? Didn’t happen that way.” Very unhelpful for my preparation. [Laughs] I got really icy about it a few times. “I don’t want hear this. I have to believe something is true.” It’s nice be able to believe what you’re saying."
That's from October '22.
So the fact that he is, in fact, an unreliable narrator (or misremembers) and the reason why he changes some things stands in the room with him...
Like, if you watched the first season, and heard Daniel calling bullshit again and again, and saw him literally destroy the narrative of the last part and did not get any of the hints that are strewn throughout the show... then you simply haven't been paying attention.
And I know, there's so many layers. So many other - important! - stuff to focus on. Racial conflicts, patriarchy, power dynamics, cheating. The list goes on. But ultimately... this will be their - Lestat's and Louis' - love story, and this has been re-iterated in these last interviews, as well as that they're following the books, and... well.
POV changes, revisits and changes of perspective (and being called out for lying, too) are part of the books.
It's just that some fans don't want to apply this to Louis, for representative reasons I believe.
But... as Jacob put it so nicely in one of the last interviews:
"Something that can get misunderstood about representation is that all representation has to be good representation. It's important actually that we don't show a queer couple as a monolith or a Black character as a monolithic thing. I love that the show is willing to explore the multitudes of that relationship."
A lot of fans don't want to see the "bad" in Louis, or Claudia for that matter (and I use "bad" here very loosely, because there are no "bad", or, for that matter, "good" vampires in the chronicles). The hate I've gotten for pointing out weaknesses or simply flaws in the narrative, or when their behavior didn't make sense to me - or when I interpreted it differently in the light of later books... was off the charts at times. And I fear a lot of people will have a very hard time with the shifts that will come in soon.
But... they've been hinting at that since the beginning. And yes, they've obviously known, too. (And I would argue they would have needed to know which scenes would be revisited - and, honestly, Jacob's comment above does hint at that, imho.)

hii have you ever heard So Beautiful by tv room? it gives me shizuai vibes (from airi’s perspective) but my knowledge of their dynamic is limited so i wanted to get the opinion of the number 1 shizuai fan on this site
(first of all. honored to be the shizuai guy tm of this site. i went n checked the music as soon as i saw this ask) (also romeo and cinderella 2dmv played as i typed this out. coincidence? i think NOT)
the answer? yes absolutely. mini ramble ahead. im normal ab them trust (lying)
if u ask me.... szai puts plenty of importance on shizukus beauty early in the mainstory + airis self image up until around chasing the radiance!!!!!! airi is considerably jealous of shizukus beauty and talent but she's pretty good at ignoring it until it becomes a problem (see: their early game relationship chart)
but as the story progresses, after the outburst back in mainsto airi finally gets to learn that theres really nothing to be jealous of bc even tho shizu the definition of beauty (in her eyes), she works as hard as everyone else in c*days and mmj 🥲
the "i wanna be beautiful too" repeated several times is definitely airi oooughhhhh she also had a bit of moment where she was sad about her tomboyish behavior back when she was younger so that definitely had an extra effect on her growing up and meeting shizuku. "theres a calmness and grace i never had"
but then we flash forward to chasing the radiance. airi finally admits to shizuku (albeit not on purpose) that shes kind of jealous still with shizuku, and how her hands look slender and elegant, while hers looks like a manju (springy n bouncy apparently? or fat n flabby)
but then the lyric going ("you're beautiful!") ("what?") that is literally chasing the radiance ch7. (i am so normal) "theres a certain way you looked at me last night" chasing the radiance happened at night.
"theres a certain way you make me think" "i'm beautiful, i'm beautiful" (airi)
"theres a certain way your hands looked next to mine i found so beautiful" (shizu to airi)
the only thing that i wouldn't count is the "and it makes me think that i could be like you" bc that was airis original flaw. with the chasing the radiance development airi finally accepts that its fine if she stays as she is 🥲
in conclusion. self image is very important in szais early relationship and ill never shut up about it (also its a major point of their fes card stories!!!) and yes. yeah. that song gets the szai approval from me.
#never ask me ever. i will not hesitate to fucking yap if its szai#im sooo normal u guys can trust m#emotanswers

Interesting perspectives.
I'm a big baby who mostly just dislikes LL for being the "meanest" season, with everyone backstabbing each other, no compelling dynamics as well as some of my least favourite dynamics in the whole series (truly it was the season that belonged to my beloatheds), and too many big groups (not fond of groups larger than 3, more than that makes interactions get lost and alliances weak in an uncompelling way. a duo/trio can realistically trust each other and have a personal dynamic, a quartet+ are just early episode roommates (this is a problem that is a result of the length of the seasons, I think if they were closer to 12+ episodes larger teams would work better, but I also think if a season stuck around that long everyone would be sick of it)).
And also yeah if you ask me to remember much of anything that happened in the last 2/3s besides an unrelenting wave of betrayals and abandonments I'd be hard pressed to think of anything. I can't even remember most people's last deaths. The map was also the most Eh map in the series, never knew where anything was, was all just ambiguous forest. Session 2 was good, though, entirely because of Lizzie. And, I also watch things as casual entertainment first and foremost, so most of my first watch enjoyment is "did this pov make me laugh/cheer on their antics". LL very rarely made me do either.
I waver back and forth between it and 3L being my least favourite, though, cause 3L was genuinely just kinda boring unless you cared about either desert duo or renchanting. And I kinda liked both but I didn't love either. People weren't as funny and didn't know each other well so they were awkward, they still didn't know what they were doing, and the map outside the desert was wasted (a particular quality of each season that people don't talk about nearly as much I think, setting quality). I can only enjoy it casually as background noise, I rarely get pulled in.
I know this one is an unpopular opinion because the last two seasons can't go a single episode without some controversy by monday, but to me the life series generally is one that gets better every season. Though I think SL was its peak even if it didn't have any particularly compelling teams, the gimmick was the best and everyone was at their funniest and enjoying themselves the most, the gimmick lent itself to being bent to the needs of the game such as lightening the blow of the wider gap of final deaths by having Jimmy return as a ghost, or giving the reds tasks to do damage. It was good at creating both personal moments and server-wide moments.
Double life is my favourite though, because no objective qualities can beat out favourite characters and first entry bias. Also the small amount of deaths and inherently having someone to share it with made every single one memorable, and it had one of the best maps with the ancient city and canyon. And every single team memorable and well-utilized base, as well as being the season that finally forced everyone to get to know each other which the later seasons benefited from greatly.
Yeah, in my head 3L and LL are slightly like test runs and DL is where the series really got on a roll. Grian said they didn't even know what they were getting into with 3L and I think you can tell that by the over-correction into DEATH game territory LL did before DL reeled it back in and they found more of a balance for the rest of the series.
(Actually "5th is the best, 3rd is my fav" is the exact same opinion I have about pokemon, funny enough. Maybe its something)
But I also think that comparing seasons is a bit like comparing apples to oranges since every single one is so different besides the base 'death game' concept. Like I like 24L and WL equal amounts but also they don't have a single thing in common so I find it hard to even put them side by side. And, of course, RL is just... its own thing entirely.
This is why I rotate stuff like the funny evil bdubs interpretation chart/cycle so much because essentially all the reasons you listed for disliking 3L and LL are reasons they're my favourites e.g. the awkwardness, the distrust you could feel in larger groups, the overall meanness, so on.
They felt absolutely like. the most DEATH GAME out of the series, DL still felt like a death game to me albeit with a slower pace and much more focused on conversation and drama than action. LimL marked a very distinct shift in tone for me although that was also the first one I watched as episodes were coming out so that might've been a factor. SL and WL so far feel more like Mario Party than Death Game with maybe the exception of the very last episode of SL feeling much more like something that should've been in an earlier season due to the lack of tasks.
I think we're all biased towards our own fav seasons but tbf I think the "controversy" with each new episode of WL is more. me being grouchy than any real significant drop in retention? You can correct me on this I am absolutely not watching the numbers but I've definitely seen people like the direction the series is taking which is honestly cool w/ me cus I feel like Grian knows that in competitive situations with time it either goes the funny minigame RNG route or the sweaty min-maxxer route and I and most people I feel like would much rather watch the series go more in the direction of funny RNG than Last Life 2 where everyone employs the smajor strategy of not making enemies, making a base in the corner of the map, only teaming with 1-2 people, etc. Plus it's going to be kind of hard to fish back the distrustful atmosphere of 3L/LL when it's six seasons in and pretty much the entire cast are friends.
Anyway yeah the apples and oranges thing is very correct, it's more or less a different vibe completely and why death game stories that are intended as death game stories usually don't rerun the same cast lol <-- although the "they are stuck in a horrifying death game loop forever to the point where they dont care anymore and find it kind of fun" angle is something I find really cool to think abt with this series.
One of the reasons I like LL over 3L actually (other than the very strong first season I watched bias) is the fact that 3L was a rare situation where I felt like there was a very clear A plot/B plot that emerged with main and side characters. Bdubs' POV in his last episode was literally just brewing potions in his house whilst a million death messages flooded the chat lol.
I still think 3L might be the strongest narratively and its "b plots" although not as flashy as desert duo vs dogwarts have some really cool stuff that have left me fucked up forever mentally (flower husbands I'll never forgive you) but yeah. Compared to LL and the seasons that come after it does feel like the one where all POVs are equal but some POVs are more equal than others. Especially when LL was a massive fucking mess in terms of its alliances where every single team had some sort of massive dramatic moment.
Thinking about it now I think I like the life series for the same reason I like those. "100 player battle royale" videos where I more or less look at it from an angle of an unethical psychologist. Holy shit okay um I was about to make a joke about how I would be Zimbardo instead of Freud if Zimbardo was dead and I didn't think this would be the way I found out Zimbardo died last month holy shit post cancelled I feel bad now

Interview with Shinoda(Hitorie) - Ongaku to Hito July 2024 Issue - English Translation
Pain, Never to Go Away
Interview by Usami Yasuyo
2024 has brought Hitorie’s 10th year anniversary with it, along with the 5 year milestone of their current regime. The pillar of the band, wowaka, passed away in 2019, leaving the grieving trio to reform the band. Their newest single, “On the Frontline/Senseless Wonder[ReRec]”, features a modern iteration of a song previously written by wowaka, on top of one song written by each member, Yumao (drums), ygarshy (bass) and Shinoda (vocals/guitar) respectively. They are by no means going against the current structure of their band, they are rather stalwart souls in regards to ensuring that nobody forgets Hitorie’s origins. That they want to remain as four forever more—That’s the exact kind of emotions poured into their new numbers. I sat down with Shinoda to talk about his current perspective come Hitorie’s milestones, thus did he reveal details about his past trauma and his low self-esteem. Afflicted with a pain that fails to ever go away, they press on. What is it like to be in his shoes?
So, Hitorie is now 10 years old… how does that feel, what’s your verdict on the matter?
Shinoda: If it’s been 10 years since our studio debut then that marks year 5 of Hitorie’s metamorphosis. Did leader really leave us 5 years ago? Then that means… have I really been singing for 5 whole years? My mind is swirling. Along the way there was also was a 2-3 year period wherein we couldn’t operate as good old rockers due to the pandemic either so, to be honest it doesn’t feel as if 10 years have passed at all. It all just feels so complicated, and strange.
Do you mean that in regards to becoming the frontman as well?
Yeah. Since about a year ago we’ve been graciously given a fair amount of opportunities to perform in festivals and joint concerts. Thanks to them I’ve been able to watch a bunch of shows and analyse a variety of different frontmen, and you could say that slowly but surely the realization finally hit me: that “Hey, I also stand right up there too.” Up until that point I could never really get the reality that I stand center stage through my head.
You seem so ready to be the focus of attention though, I sense no hesitation in your shows and music.
Of course I’m prepared to do what needs to be done, but on the flip side for a long time I had this itch in the back of my mind that maybe I was somehow only convincing myself and pretending that I was the frontman all along. Like just telling myself “Yeah, you’re the totally the frontman, sure buddy.” I was trying to galvanize myself in a way too though, offering myself words of encouragement. Words strong enough to make me believe “Yeah, I can keep this up.” Nowadays we’re putting on heaps and heaps of shows, but the more we do it the more my weaknesses, or rather my shortcomings, become evident. Of course I’m also improving more and more with every show as well but, there’s still so much more I could be doing better.
When do you specifically feel your weaknesses and shortcomings become evident?
It all boils down to my skill level as a singer, plain and simple. The problem is that I feel I’m still a weak vocalist. I’m constantly comparing myself to people who are way cooler than me as well. Such as Maki-kun from Vanillas (Maki Tatsuya from go! go! vanillas), I just think he’s so cool whenever I see him, and I can’t help but worry how I pale in comparison.
I think there’s no reason to compare yourselves, you and Maki as counterparts both possess things each other don’t.
Hmm, I’m not so sure about that. Or maybe it’s just the way I am. My self-worth is inherently in the pits. As soon as someone or something cool catches my attention, I can’t help but immediately start comparing them to myself. A short while ago I saw the band “Mo’Some Tonebender” in Arabaki, and they were of exceptional nature, their coolness was off the charts. It made me cast doubts on myself like “I wonder if I’ll able to put on an act of their caliber when I’m that age too.” Or when it comes to the younger crowd, such as Akiyama Kiiro, when I saw his concert I thought “Wow he’s incredible, I don’t think I was nearly so capable back when I was that age.” My brain always makes it all about me and jumps straight to the negative. Yet nevertheless at the same time I do also sometimes catch myself wondering “Is there even anyone else fit to be Hitorie’s frontman?” For, it’s partly because I’m the type who suffers from anxiety that I’m able to make music. So, provided that I’m in a band, it’s practically a given for me to live hand in hand with anxieties.
On the same note as anxieties, you once before said that you feel you don’t have a clear-cut, singular core essence to yourself. Is this still the case?
Hmm, I think I’ve since changed a little bit. Last year we made an album titled “PHARMACY”, and for the promo tour we fashioned merchandise. Among them I had designed this cat plush, all just for kicks, yet somehow it took off. It started selling like hotcakes. This strange incident made something click for me (laughs). The plush has since been dubbed “Pharmacy Cat” as well. So after I heard that it was flying off the shelves, I had a revelation: now I know that I’m at the very least someone capable of selling cat plushies.
It raised your self esteem (laughs). I’m in awe that it wasn’t a song or a concert that was the catalyst, but rather a plush doll.
Yeah (laughs). Whenever I see that plush, it patches up the deficits in my heart. For I used to have nothing that stood out as “me” before.
I never got that impression though. When I read the lyrics of your song “On the Frontline”, specifically the lyrics “Get even stronger, I heard a voice say/Stuck in a world with no concept of right or wrong/My one and only heart/I give it whole to the things I want to protect”, they remind me of the exact way you, Shinoda, seem to throw yourself into the fray for the people you care about.
Excuse me, me?
Yes. That could be the reason why you were plagued with such stress 5 years ago, and why you had felt so pressured to take up the mantle to save the band. The song may have been written to be the opening song for the anime “Mushoku Tensei” but the lyrics really do feel like Shinoda manifest.
Those specific lines you mentioned, those had just popped out onto my paper thoughtlessly, earnestly, and with 0 stress involved. Maybe I actually am the kind of guy you mentioned, but, deep down part of me still feels like me being the frontman of Hitorie is just imprudent. I’ll forever be weighed down by the question of whether or not it’s okay for someone like me to receive as much charity as I do.
What exactly are you referring to by “charity”?
Being allowed to exist amongst the big names of the music industry, or sometimes being adored by my juniors, and things like that. “Should this really be happening to someone like me?” I often think. The more it keeps happening and happening, the more I want to meet their expectations; the more I’m flooded with the feeling I need to give something back. So maybe if you unravel it all far enough, the fact that I care too much for people might be at the root of it all.
What do you believe is the reason your self-value is so low?
Back in my 20s, before I joined Hitorie, I was doing music in Nagoya…
You were the vocalist for an indie band, correct?
Yes. In the end it all molded me into who I am today but, back then my music wasn’t received very well, and I felt I wasn’t loved nor needed by anyone.
I can tell you’re not the type to stay optimistic and bide your time in hopes that someone will fancy your songs one day.
Hmm. Back then I was not. I’m not a very wise person, and I wasn’t especially in a situation wherein I could take a step back and view things from a bigger perspective, I was kind of driven into a corner. So nowadays when people tell me that they’re fans of my old songs, such as Akiyama Kiiro, it makes me feel like “Wow, so everything does come back around and does serve a purpose, there was meaning to it after all.” It’s just the time investment required to finally get to this step is a lengthy one, that’s for sure.
The results aren’t immediate.
Exactly, exactly.
So after working with Hitorie, your self-esteem issues began to ease up?
Yeah, they totally did. Previously when Hitorie was a quad piece I stood on the stage as the lead guitarist, but prior to that I was composing all my songs and lyrics by myself on top of singing them all by myself in Nagoya. I was on the verge of my breaking point, at that point I couldn’t stand music that laid myself bare anymore. Until, upon joining this crazy band named “Hitorie” and becoming their guitarist, a large margin of my anxieties eased up. I was finally able to break away from 100 capacity venues, and somehow along the way turned into a rocker allowed on to bigger stages.
You have since returned to making songs that lay yourself bare, and singing them yourself as well. How does that make you feel?
Part of me thinks as if this is my karma, at the end of the day I can’t escape it. However, to be honest, my desire to sing and write songs never fully diminished even back when Hitorie was still complete, and deep down I had always hoped I would be able to do so. The only problem is the shape and form in which my desire came to a reality.
It truly does seem to be something you just can’t run away from.
Is this that thing people call fate? It circles around in the most twisted of ways. Life really is heavier than I ever could’ve imagined, when I think about.
You wrote a song for your newest single as well, and I would like to hear about your insights on it but, first before that there’s one point of interest I would like to touch upon. There’s 4 songs on the single, each written by all 4 members of Hitorie, including wowaka. Was this on purpose?
Yes. We came up with this idea in the early stages. We didn’t want to release just any old single, we wanted to take the medium called the CD and turn it into something with more oomph, more flair. Thus came the discussion of how to achieve this feat, and what you see today is the solution we conjured up. If we’re going to bring something into this world, then it needs to have a good reason and purpose. Which tied into how it’d be a problem if people forgot everything the four of us did together.
I see. The song you composed is named “Sakura no Itsuka”, and the lyrics speak candidly on your feelings about wowaka.
After we decided on our vision for the CD, the only one who didn’t have a song ready was me. I do have a stash of WIP songs which I could’ve pulled from but I instead opted to create a track from scratch. One which would represent the “resolution” part of the dramatic structure, with each of the 4 tracks respectively representing the beginning, development, climax, and resolution. For I thought it would be an effective means to strengthen the CD’s power and purpose, as I mentioned before, and to give it good justification for existing amongst our discography. I’ve written quite a few songs that tackle my feelings over losing wowaka now, that delve into means for us to cope and move on. Starting with curved edge…
That would be the first song Hitorie released as a trio.
Yes. But, unlike that single, this one has a 4 songs each written by all 4 of us so… I’m not sure the right way to articulate this but like, I felt that I couldn’t let the closing track on such a structured single just be run of the mill. I contemplated long and hard as to what exactly would be appropriate. After all that though, in the end I don’t think the song I wrote would appeal much to a special somebody (laughs).
Hahaha. What caused you to assume that?
I dunno, just a sixth sense (laughs). I just have a hunch that he wouldn’t care for the song very much. That he wouldn’t especially want to be written about nor seen in this light. For at the end of the day it’s nothing but an unelaborate ballad, to put it bluntly.
The lyrics are straightforward as well. “Yet again, a song you would probably hate/Keeps polluting the city/And yet a song you would probably love is something that we just can’t write/Something we could never write” gets to the heart of the matter, and from but a glance it’s obvious that the “you” in the lyrics must be referring to wowaka.
If he himself could hear the lyrics, I could just imagine him saying “Shinoda what happened to your alternative rock soul?” or “This isn’t like you at all?” (Laughs). “But, I can explain, everything’s been translated into the J-rock band format!” I would say back. I even refrained from overdubbing the guitar as much as possible too (laughs)! Yet the fact of the matter is that I up and used the man named wowaka as my muse. I’m worried, burdened by the fact that I’m practically expending his existence- and his absence both.
I wonder if anyone out there feels the same way though. From a third person perspective, as someone who has watched you become a wonderful frontman over the past 5 years and listened to the music you’ve created along the journey, I find it difficult to believe you’re “expending” his name, or to see it in that such cynical light.
I think there definitely are indeed people out there who think that way. To each his own, different strokes for different folks y’know. So l understand if people come to resent me over the song, so be it, I totally get it, it’s bound to happen. Yet nevertheless my wish to bring this song into the world and have it be heard no matter what won over all my concerns. What’s most important to me is for people to never forget that Hitorie was once the four of us.

How do you think, who the most and the less touchable guy in dli mean pda, hugs, hold hands and so on )?
well I know people will tell me otherwise but since you're asking for my own opinion, I will say Shuu.
all diaboys are romantic in their own way, but I think Shuu is the least romantic out of all of them like he doesn't indulge in too much PDA and stuff. in fact, there's a chart that indicates Shuu's dere level (aka romantic level) is the lowest. so don't even expect a back hug in public or a kiss on the lips and such or a romantic dinner on a boat. I mean yeah you can make scenarios out of them but Shuu really has little to no romantic backbone.
and imo there are times when Shuu always tend to not hold responsibility over his feelings like he thinks "having an emotional bond with another being is pain" or "they will die anyways" so he has this tendency not to put an effort. you might think that's romantic in a sense that he's selfless, but honestly, in my perspective, it will never be. after all, this mindset only fuels a thinking that there's no need to fight for things you like bcos sometimes you have to.
but ya know even tho Shuu's the most Do-S out of all Sbros (he publicly sex shames the MC) and the least romantic of them all, many people still find him to be romantic in their own way. like pls he still has good endings and stuff. so yeah to each their own.

IPKKND thought i would love your take on:
I think when it comes to Shyam's revelation scene the only disappointment i felt was in Arnav's reaction which we can chalk upto Barun's unavailability but its honestly not surprising that other members didnt respond very strongly. We have a bias as viewers since we are witness to everything so we are aggressively countering Shyam's arguments from our screen. But for everyone else its a massive shock and they dont wanna jump the gun about a decision which will possibly break the family. Even with Khushi, she was a victim and its very unfair for us to expect her to counter this logically like a debate. This took a heavy emotional toll on her which is why its understandable why she is mumbling even if she is in the right. Same with her confrontation scene with Arnav. For Khushi, these moments are too overwhelming to be able to answer the questions thrown at her with logical. Maybe once her emotions are settled down a bit but in the moment i totally understand it and i dont feel its OOC like many claim. I would've loved to see her actually sit through it and talk it out with someone who has the emotional bandwidth to help her or atleast listen to her. But yeah I don't understand when people expect her to be bold and bindass when she is confronting (kind of) her abuser.
Hi Anon,
This is an absolutely valid point. You see my issue with these scenes is actually not the characters but the INTENT of these scenes and the tightness of the writing and how well it delivers a payoff.
As you’ve aptly put out - expecting rationality from Khushi from either situations is unfair cause she’s in deep stress and there’s a HUGE shock for most characters when they come to hear what Shyam and Khushi have to say.
But the INTENT is what ruins both of these scenes.
During the final showdown between Arnav and Khushi on the terrace - the very fact that Khushi’s attempt to unalive herself is treated with comedy is disgusting and disparaging.
Out of everything that could’ve been a trigger for Khushi to demand the truth, for her to go with Arnav has married her to get rid of his fault on his astronomical birth chart is so stupid. The makers are going “lol, Khushi so crazy she can think anything!”
The show keeps branding Khushi as “crazy”, which, to be honest, after a point is offensive because Khushi’s inability to rationalize is a serious problem if it’s leading to her justification on unaliving herself over things that don’t exist at all.
She needs help, serious help.
It’s not even played for dark humour. Rather slapstick humor.
And when I talk about her and Arnav’s conversation - the dialogues aren’t veered towards an angst or angry conversation! In fact a few things are kept in mind for their showdown.
1. Arnav needs to insult Khushi’s character as much as possible (right after she tried to unalive herself for his happiness - WTF?)
2. Khushi has to be fulfill the necessity of a good bahu. That is, her motivation to hide Shyam’s truth is never the honest threat it posed to Payal’s impending marriage. Rather Khushi is such a nice bahu that she wants to preserve Anjali’s ideals of marriage and happiness. This is very very ITV sanskaar coded because Shyam has harassed Khushi at multiple points by this time and it’s never shown that she’s bound to preserve Anjali’s marriage by no choice but that she truly believes Anjali should be kept happy (because Arnav won’t be able to take the truth?) and that Khushi is perfectly fine with Anjali staying married with a harasser.
3. No acknowledgement of Khushi being harassed and absolutely nothing to show Khushi being at fault and nothing to indicate to Arnav he might be mistaken. This is critical. The show keeps wanting to maintain that Arnav’s terrible opinion of Khushi is unchanged! Arnav’s PTSD is conveniently forgotten (which they remember every other time) and Khushi will absolutely not clear anything that can give Arnav another perspective. The show, despite showing harassment multiple times, sidesteps from acknowledging Khushi is being harassed. So Khushi obviously has no “idea” of the terrace. And it’s not written that she’s so traumatized she has suppressed it.
4. Khushi needs to prove herself to Arnav. Arnav has emotionally and verbally abused Khushi multiple times in this marriage and they had to ensure that this is all about Khushi proving her character to a man who never believed she had one. It’s terrible because Khushi needs to prove that she’s not having a relationship with the man who has been sexually harassing her. No justification is expected from Shyam and he’s pretty much Scot free for sexually harassing Khushi.
This showdown was everything. We needed a PAYOFF. A payoff for why Arnav was quiet for three months. A payoff for the whole misunderstanding.
You realize this would’ve been perfectly angsty if Arnav came to the conclusion that Khushi ultimately chose to condemn Anjali in a terrible marriage because it would protect Payal’s marriage. This was a valid reason to be upset on Khushi that is non sexist.
And Arnav makes far more sense in these episodes than Khushi does. And this is important because for the show Arnav has to maintain his misunderstanding of Khushi.
Khushi dissociates in traumatic situations - again this is not addressed and this is a grave situation.
And now coming to the Shyam revelation scene. I feel this was a perfect situation to give the other characters dialogues to explain their utter confusion.
Because the intent of this episode was to show “oh Arnav believes her over everything” and the whole family needs to have doubts over Khushi’s character and I was just personally DONE with a female lead’s character come up in question multiple times.
And the intent is to make Arnav feel heroic for slapping Shyam.
That’s why it makes no sense why Khushi admits she said she hated Arnav and wanted his property to lure Shyam out. What is the intent of this?
To show Arnav still believes her and he’s hero?
Shyam had the best dialogues and Arnav had the least impactful. They needed to give Arnav dialogues (everyone else could have had more valid follow up questions). Arnav’s dialogue is so bleh and the things is Arnav KNOWS.
He isn’t blindly choosing Khushi - he just saw Shyam switch narratives because Shyam himself told Arnav that HE is obsessed with Khushi and he’ll do anything to get Khushi back!!
And it’s again to really horn in that “oh Arnav has defected towards his wife who we can’t quite trust,”
So you see these cause an issues.
It’s not a payoff to Arnav having misunderstood her so grossly. They tried to do it but it came out flat as best barring Shyam - man what amazing dialogues and it’s so in character because he IS a lawyer.
And like what was with NK behaving like as if he was going to flip on Khushi?
See moments like these heighten my issue with these scenes. Neither gives a payoff to the misunderstanding of the terrace night.
So these are my point of views.
Thank you and take care,
- JWB

Firstly, I love your posts soo much!!
Maybe it is the effect of pluto and sun transiting the Aquarius!! that I have an idea..just hear me out.
I wish there were some free open astrology forums that helped people by telling them one positive life event that individual can look forward to based on their charts.
In fact, it would be so nice if the predictive astrology could start offering predictions about more positive events to look forward to such that it becomes slightly easy to bear with what's happening at the present.
Just saying...
💛
Are Predictions Important in Astrology?
I appreciate your message, and it is an excellent time to talk about my perspective on the subject.
I am not a fan of predictive Astrology. I say this as a person who completely understands how it is to feel such despair that you feel like you can't go on another second without having the assurance that your life will get better soon. That's also why people turn to more abstract means of divination, such as tarot.
However, these tools should be used to understand the flow of your life and what your current growth path is about. They're not a take out menu that you pick from. Insistence on predictions has caused many astrologers to be treated very instrumentally. Some people think a psychic is someone who's supposed to just deliver the version of the future that the client is going to like to hear. "you will get married in a year and it will be a June wedding" yeah right lol.
I know many good astrologers. I have yet to see even the best ones I know make a single accurate prediction. When events such as death, loss or illnesses in my family were happening, it was always a surprise. We're not supposed to know such things. Fun fact, my psychic abilities were tingling, up to a year ahead even, but I always ignored them in key moments.
I will explain it to you through an example. My mother died prematurely when I was barely out of high school. She was a single mother, and her death put me on the outs with the rest of my family, that showed their true colours in a difficult situation. It was a shock to everyone because she was very physically healthy and fit, and way too young to die and yet it happened.
A year before her death, she left me alone for the summer in the condo where I grew up with her. I was working in my hometown at that time, in between college semesters, and she found an extra paid summer job with some of our family members that live abroad. It was the first time in my life, that I was without her for that long, and to be frank, I loved the independence, like any very young person does when you let them "off the leash". I remember very clearly the day she left. We used to have family pictures taped to a glass door on a living room cabinet. My grandfather was an avid photographer and we always had plenty of photos with him around. One of the pictures was a close up of my eyes. Because the glass cabinet was positioned close to the living room window, the sun was always streaming in on it. That can cause discoloration in printed photos. On that day, the picture of my eyes had the sun leave long marks on it in such a way, that they looked like tears.
I believe this to be the strongest psychic experience I've ever had, even though I still had years of spiritual learning ahead of me at that point. Because upon seeing that picture, I knew my mom was going to die, and that it was going to cause grief in my life, even though it took over a year for that prediction to come true. I never told anyone about it, and never took that feeling seriously.
Why? Because it was so unbelievable. Because logic was against it. Because I had my own personal feelings and egoic consciousness, that had completely different feelings and desires about my life circumstances. And because it wasn't yet the time of my life when I was mature enough to treat my spiritual journey seriously.
And that is how it was meant to be at the time. Looking back on it now, I remember the feeling of prediction more as a moment of awareness. It was like seeing an inevitable chain of events unfold. Something in my consciousness was smart enough to be able to see so far ahead. Spiritually, I believe it was a warning from my spirit guides, and in a way a friendly one. "Get used to being alone and handling life alone for more than one summer vacation because it's soon gonna become your reality". But I couldn't take it seriously, because my mom and I were fighting a lot at that time, so missing her was not what I had in mind at all. I craved independence, and that feeling was my reality, which I took more seriously than some abstract premonition. In a way, knowing didn't really help me at all in the moment.
And that situation shows perfectly what the problem is with predictions. Human beings are limited by their egos and their flaws and their lack of perspective. That makes them reject whatever doesn't currently fit into their narrative. People don't want a real prediction. They want to hear they're going to get the cookie they're craving. Then they want it over and over and over again.
I understand my journey now, so many years after all these events. But it took so much growing up, that no prediction would ever fix.
There is always something to look forward to in life. Don't try to control it, and let it come to you. When the Universe wants to put you through a certain experience, it will, and there is nothing you can do about it.

So out of pure curiosity i looked up who the tallest person ever was and jfc 😂 the tallest to ever live was robert wadlow (272 cm/8’11), the tallest currently alive is sultan kösen (252/8’2), if any of you have ever wanted a more visual representation of what a lot of us would look like next to elves like maedhros, turgon etc look them up 😅 i‘m 163 cm/5‘4 myself and this certainly put things in perspective 😂
Oh yeah, that's definitely Maedhros and Argon's height right there. Maedhros with 8'2 and Argon with 8'11. We're literally children standing beside them 😂. All we gotta do is cling to their legs as they walk for a free ride!
But I usually tend to use the height references from the show Gods of Zeus since the gods are all over 7 feet and there's a height chart for each of the characters, so I like to work with that and then cry cuz my ass is still short next to them (I'm 168 cm/5'6).
Plus, I have a 7'5 (228.6 cm) Christmas tree I love to stand next to when I'm visualising myself next to an elf 😌

Hi im looking for a bit of help. How do u see pain and suffering in a chart? Like what do u look for? Or how can i know if my future will be okay? Also how long did it take u to be so good at astrology and where did you start? Hope youre doing well and its always fun to read all your posts ☺️
aw thank you!!! well first I don't really think the chart shows the future! I think it shows energy, and I look at it from an evolutionary astrology perspective--like all your placements are for a reason to help your soul evolve and grow and all that stuff so when u find a tough placement or something it's like "what does this teach me?" and "why do i need to go Thru This?". there can be suffering in "easy" aspects and "hard" aspects, imo. I don't study predictive astrology very much right now, I don't think it's my #journey at least not yet, I'm more of a birth chart girlie.
like my chart looks like a mingi-level mess tbh--scorpio moon; moon and pluto in my 4th house; lilith conjunct ascendant; all hard aspects from my moon and sun including sun & pluto square my pisces mars (mutable square :( can not decisions :() and moon widely square mars; 3 yods that include pluto, moon, mercury, neptune, venus, sun, mc and ascendant; planets at 29°; retrograde planets; 8th house placements; 11th house placements including chiron; prominent saturn and uranus; and more!!--like it's a major lol
(those are some significant indicators of Stuff esp planets at 29, 8th 11th and 12th house placements, chiron stuff, pluto/saturn/uranus/sometimes neptune closely aspecting ur sun or moon, lots of hard aspects/only hard aspects (square, opposition, quincunx, semisquare, etc) to sun or moon, yods in general, squares in general, t-squares which are oppositions that have a planet square to both sides, scorpio or capricorn or 8th house moon, other planets in fall or detriment or retrograde, saturn pluto and uranus acting up or conjunct personal planets, but a lot of it has to do with how things like this work together so it's kind of fiddly!!)
your chart can suck (like mine!) but if you put in the work the rewards are much greater imo. I've done SO MUCH therapy hahahahaha. plus studying my chart and getting to know the astrology including the karmic and generational issues stuff has made it a lot easier for me to understand and deal with everything.
my Hard Chart is why I started learning about astrology in the first place i think! i started when i was thirteen just doing big three stuff. my stepmother is fully into astrology and like has an actual astrologer she sees so i got more interested in learning the nitty gritty stuff when i was 15 or 16 when she started connecting me to that. so it's been like a decade since i started omg. but i wasn't always serious about it, so it's on and off. i learn about it in chunks--recently i've gotten into uranus a lot and past life indicators, and before that i was really into the lunar nodes, and before that i got into retrograde and intercepted planets, and before that i was super into yods and unaspected planets, idk. i just get interested in little parts of astrology (usually bc of my own chart) and that leads me to read books about it and that introduces me to the next big topic! i love astrology so much bc there is so much to learn all the time.
but yeah, i started with sun moon ascendant and reading books about that, and then i started learning about other planets. i also don't really use any online resources anymore except for any books i find pdfs of, i just don't always trust what i find online haha or i take it with a HUGE grain of salt. tbh i take everything with a grain of salt tho so idk (i read a lot of really old astrology books and these like 1960s or 1970s astrologers are so weird about gender). i focused on just planets, signs and houses at first and i think that helped, then aspects after that, but all the time i'd go off on tangents for random little things and that helped add to my understanding. oh and it really helped me to always be looking at other people's charts too, like when i read something i try to find someone with that placement or aspect to see how it could connect. and it's my party trick to look up people's charts and talk to them about it hahaha. i hope this helped a little! 🫶

𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐙 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄.
𝑠𝑒𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑡𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑓𝑡ℎ ; 07:51 pm
[ a lightly tipsy 𝐧𝐚𝐨𝐦𝐢 enters the set, still riding the high of her album release, a 𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 no. 1 placement on Apple Music & Spotify's hip hop charts, and her successful release party. as the host's signal the start of recording, the tune of 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙮 infiltrates her ears and compels the artist to break into performance while taking her seat, continuing her dancing while she's being introduced. ]
tonight we got big mama in the building, everybody welcome 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐄! we saw her on 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒉𝒐𝒑, she got our attention with Soufside and now she's on fire after releasing her first studio album 𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚—'cause she is the 𝑺͟𝑯͟𝑰͟𝑻͟. thank you so much for comin' out, we been waiting on this one!
"huh? huh? when a real one hold you down, bae you supposed to drown—ayeeee, that went over a lotta nigga's heads, for real! definitely happy to be here, thank you for having me. i been busy as hell, doin' interview after interview since before the record even dropped. it's been a wild ride; a fun one, fasho. there's definitely been a few bumps in the road here and there, but yeah. since i dropped it, i been tryna focus on having a good time with my loved ones and just. . .goin' up! you know, this album is a culmination of my real life shit over the last two years. it's only right that now everybody has it, i can finally rest. Right after this interview a bitch packin' for jamaica. then i got invited to a couple of paris fashion week shows—just got a lot of shit lined up now that the 𝑏𝑖𝑔𝑔𝑒𝑠𝑡 thing is done, which was putting out a piece of work I'm proud of."
and you should be proud of it. it definitely blew us out of the water—props to you for sure. bumps in the road are to be expected, though. you pushing boundaries for the genre in a way. female rap is evolving in a way we never thought it could, and you apart of that in a special way. and the cool thing is it seem like y'all are friends. you ever feel the heat of the competition from other rappers? you got a top five out right now that's really doing their thing?
"i mean. . .𝑛𝑜 .ᐣ" [her laughter comes out instinctively at the question, shaking her head.] "nah. rap is a game and i'ma play it well; they my girls at the end of the day, but if anybody wanna lean up and compete i ain't never shy away from it. i only really smoke gas but i'll smoke a bitch out behind my respect. now of course i got my favorites. but i'on know, it's soo many rap girls killin' shit right now. so top 5 is hard. i'ma say monaleo, cardi. . .𝑑𝑎𝑚𝑛, i'm not tryna be stereotypical, but meg, glo and kaliii. just based off my playlist."
you and saweetie stay posted up together on socials, so i definitely thought she might be in your top—
"woah, hold on hold on hold on hold on. let's get sum' right—i loooove saweetie! that's my girl in real life, fasho. but from a music perspective, i wouldn't say my top 5. but she cold. next question."
confidence is definitely key. it's good to see you got that on lock! and that's a solid top five. it's cool to see women empowerment in an industry thriving off conflict.
"for me, confidence is a non-negotiable. i done seen how insecurity can fuck you up and have you diminishing yourself when you really got it. obviously, i'ma be humble because i know what it's like to be without and be hungry for the game, for a piece of the game. but i'm just at the point where my life is so lit that i don't give a fuck what nobody got to say about me, it's nothing i haven't heard before. i got the house i want, the cars i want. . . the nigga i want. like i don't give a fuck! you either with me or you don't exist."
okay, okay. you not throwin' shots right now, but online they been posting your lyrics and puttin' names on them bullets. are there other rappers you didn't name that you might have a couple shots reserved for?
"the internet gon' talk no matter what was said. i let 'em 'cus to me that mean i'm part of the conversation. shit, i am the conversation. i'm on your mind and money on mine. we ain't the same, type shit. i talk my shit in my rap because. . .that's real shit i go through. nobody went into the studio wit' a vein poppin' out they head thinking this really gon' get that one hoe mad. now, i can't say the same for my assumed 'opps'. at the end of the day if you felt hit, if that shit applied? then so be it. but a bitch ain't gon' touch me so i'ma keep popping my shit. that simple. bitches be too worried about the comments nowadays, wanna be an internet warrior. put that shit in a song, dead it."
when you say you're gonna keep poppin' shit, does that mean we can expect any new music? i mean i know the album is still hot on the streets, but on the low—you got some surprises? we saw your tweet about gettin' in the booth with jimmy brooks, that got the people talking.
"definitely full of surprises. i got way more songs that ain't make the project—unfinished shit that only my dog has heard. been in talks of filming a couple music videos for the project. you know, it's a lot of cool shit coming. and as far as 𝒎𝒓. 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒔,. . . y'all not the only ones that got excited off that. my manager phone been ringing off the hook—been getting called for features left and right! it's crazy how one association 'a do that. but you know, me and my girls also have some real cool shit comin' up. can't speak on it just yet, but it's gone be a movie for sure."
