why isnt palestine - or any related tag - trending, just after a strike week & aaron bushnell’s self-immolation [bbc] [al jazeera (opinion piece)] [wikipedia] & the palestinian prime minister announcing that his government is resigning [ny times] [al jazeera] ?…… so much going on and yet palestine isn’t even in the top 10, it’s under many fandoms & hobby tags.

#palestine #gaza #rafah #free palestine #i/p #wren speaks #glad nex benedict is trending tho #i’m not saying this to try to guilt people it’s just… a fact.#like i’m not saying you CANT post about other things. it’s not a strike rn after all! but it’s not like rb’ing a donation post & rb’ing a #gif set or whatever are like… mutually exclusive activities.#so why isn’t palestine trending just as much as any of those top tags? how come people are being quieter than before?
