Every time the conversation about OS weird behavior comes out, there's ppl claiming we're fomenting harassment and weird behavior and that lfj is a grown man and could've said something and yes I agree and who's to say he didn't anyways.

But most importantly, guess what OS is too?? Oh yeah... A grown ass man who has said he's not even sure if his female costars deserved or not harassment???? That he liked the bi-icon title but then when criticism of his take on it came he got butthurt and couldn't even man up and let the half ass apology up in his stories.

Like at what point are we going to admit he has said weird shit and it's clear, yeah because if there's no words, there's actions, until he says something which we know he won't, he actively does not want to piss off that side that already bully him off of a lot of things, which lol again the grown ass man in question, like sorry if he hasn't shown some basic respect to coworkers why is suddenly a problem to talk about him in our spaces? Calling out cringe behavior is not harassment, and the fact that it's mostly people who have actively harassed either Lou, or one of Buck or Eddie's previous LI's that say these things speaks volumes.

I agree, Lou is a grown man, and when asked about the harassment he received he shrugged it off and basically said, "comes with the territory." Even saying that got him more harassment and being actively made fun of- even by the writer who interviewed him! I will forever believe that the issue of LI's within the show being harassed could have been stopped years ago by one stern post by either Oliver, Ryan, or Tim. A definitive "Buck and Eddie are friends, will always be friends, but will never be more than friends. We appreciate our fans, but will not stand for the harassment of our costars who have been hired to do a job. Be respectful, enjoy the show!"

To Ryan's credit, he has tried in multiple recent interviews to set the record (and Eddie lmao) straight. But at this point no one is listening to him. They feel he's lying to make the "slow burn" relationship hit harder. They love Oliver when he's all "idk what's gonna happen there we'll have to wait and see" but the second he makes it clear he's not fucking Ryan, they hate him again. Tim's just full of shit altogether. They've honestly created an unsafe work environment for anyone who comes in as a potential love interest. Not even fans can enjoy these relationships without being sent death threats and CSA fics.

Also idk if it’s a timing and scheduling thing or they just didn’t have the room for it but I find it odd that Eddie has been with Marisol for how long now? And we’ve had no significant scenes with them two at all. Like Tommy showed up swept Buck off his feet and smooched his ass in like an ep or 2. But like we’ve seen crickets from Eddie and Marisol. the story has to be that they’re gonna eventually break up because truly and honestly what has there been that would even have us remotely root for them lol. And she’s definitely showing up next episode but I sincerely doubt that they’ll be able to get people on that train. Yeah, not to put too fine a point on it, but regardless of how compressed a timeframe they're working with, if they wanted us to care then they would be trying to make us care, and they just aren't. If her coming back in 7x05 was intended to be anything other than the beginning of the end for them (and if this was intended to actually be a relationship instead of a plot device for Eddie's development), they would have made at least a bare minimum of effort to reintroduce her and their relationship. They could have given her more than a one line drive-by appearance in 7x01, but they didn't. And that's not because they didn't have the time, no, it's just that they made a choice to dedicate a solid 1/3 of the episode instead to Buck/Eddie/Christopher and Shannon, which basically tells the audience "this woman doesn't matter, but these relationships over here, those are the ones that are important." Eddie mentions that Marisol watched Chris twice while he was out with Tommy, but similarly, Buck finds that entirely nonthreatening - Chris spending time with Tommy and thinking he's cool though? That sent Buck into a whole spiral. Also similarly, Eddie's relationship with Tommy has had more screentime and development than his relationship with Marisol. And yes, that's partly because it was key to Buck's bisexuality arc, but still - it's signaling what they care about and what the audience is supposed to care about. And right now, Eddie's new friendship with Tommy - shown through both screentime and discussions of their shared interests - is substantially more believable than his relationship with Marisol who we don't know anything about as a person let alone anything about their relationship. Which...considering the title of 7x05 is "You Don't Know Me," I have an inkling we're going to find out that Eddie knows about as much about his own girlfriend of several months as the audience does. A whole lot of nothing meaningful. And if it seems at all like Eddie's just going through the motions or has doubts? There's no coming back from that when the audience doesn't care about her in the first place. So, yeah, even if it takes a few more episodes, they're donezo.

Lucanis' beef with Davrin is basically "you have the blight and will die, ur annoying" and Davrin doesn't like that Lucanis kills people for coin and is wary of the demon, I did not catch anything deeper in the like 80ish hours I've played the game for. They tease and make jabs at each other which is fun ig? The conflict doesn't feel genuine and it's the main one we're meant to take seriously?? I genuinely have to be missing smth. da2 adds the worldbuilding to the characters and their dynamics which makes it much more interesting, you can feel how the world and it's politics have shaped people and understand why certain characters butt heads or outright hate each other AND why most people aren't totally wrong and are at least understandable in their views if not justifiable, the characters feel like people with flaws who have been influenced by their experiences, DaV doesn't really do anything?? Everything and everyone is so shallow, there's no genuine head butting or conflicting world views cause there's like no world views. The "mage killer" assassin actually only kills evil bloodmages who are all evil cultists and are a basic enemy that spawn everywhere, and none of the mages on the team care about it. People were thinking they were gonna get another fenris with the "mage killer" title lol.. i love da2 😭😭

it's soooo surface level, i keep waiting for the conflict to evolve into something but it's just the same conversation over and over... it feels like they have the bones of something interesting but where is the MEAT.

i think it really is caused by flattening the worldbuilding tbh. like yeah mage killer who was possessed by a demon, there are sooo many things you can do with that. BUT because there's so little context for possession (they mention it can usually only happen to mages but forget the fact that the south has like an entire prison system and army built because people are afraid of abominations) it feels like a very generic possession story that could happen in any other fantasy game. what if he DID have complicated feelings about magic, what if he claimed to only target evil mages but his grasp on good and evil had been eroded over years of killing. what if the mages in the party didn't instantly believe him and relax when he told them he only kills blood mages. and every character seems to have this same problem aside from taash.

Various TDP Season 6 thoughts under the cut/things I believe will come back in Season 7

Be careful it's kinda a long one

First things first. RAYLLUM! WHEN I TELL YOU THAT I WAS DEFINITELY SHEDDING A FEW TEARS DURING EPISODES 3 AND 6. Like, I'm not too interested in ships and romance but Rayllum has me in a death grip I swear.

I just want to point out that a couple writers have stated that they know whether Rayla is able to kill Callum if the time comes. I would also like to note that there was not a moment where she had to consider that this season. She just said she would when he asked her in episode 3. Now that they're back together...something tells me she won't be able to do it. Either that or we're in for a very gut wrenching scene in season 7.

Speaking of that, I think Kosmo said to Callum that if he performs dark magic again, it'll definitely consume/corrupt him. Don't remember the exact sentence but I've seen people talking about it so I know I didn't make it up. Anyways, I genuinely feel like they wouldn't bring that up unless it's going to have some sort of payoff in season 7 (which I'm 90% sure is titled after dark magic? correct me if I'm wrong) coupled with the previous paragraph here. Oh god if we thought season 6 was gonna put these two through the wringer we haven't seen *anything* yet

Alright enough about Rayllum (even though I love it)

Kinda disappointed that the Janaya wedding happened at a point in the story where everyone in the cast conveniently wasn't all together to celebrate the occasion. But still, an LGBT wedding in a show rated TV-Y7 is absolutely HUGE in my opinion. Not really sure what other words I can say, it was great.

Next is how they handled Viren. Honestly, I'm kinda ok with it. I said on Twitter that a redemption arc could work with him if written correctly. How he was written was...well enough. While he didn't directly apologize to really anyone (aside from Claudia I think and then Soren on paper that he burned. I've watched this season twice now but I'm running on an hour of sleep so forgive me for not remembering everything lol), he still acknowledged that he doesn't even deserve to be forgiven and understands that everything he's done was nothing short of awful.

Holy fudge this season really convinced me how great of a character Claudia is. She's such a tragic character who's experienced loss and trauma and just needs the chance to acknowledge everything she's been through and properly heal from it. However, one thing I've noticed is that whenever Viren dies, Aaravos is right there guiding her away from the path of healing from her trauma. First is after Season 3 when he tells her there's a way to bring Viren back. Then, presumably I think, in between season 5 and 6 when he somehow tells her how to complete the resurrection spell. THEN there's the end of season 6 where she's realizing that her father is gone for good and what does he do?? He basically goes "lol yeah here's my backstory so you'll want to free me even more oh whats this i can even give you the spell needed to free me". Y'all someone please get her away from Aaravos so she can process everything.

OH YEAH! Fun fact, I'm pretty sure Rayla and Callum left the Starscraper thinking/assuming that the Pearl was safe with the Celestial Elves. They're gonna see giant Aaravos in Season 7 and just have fifty panic attacks at once.

Estimated $100m second weekend for INSIDE OUT 2... Really out here breaking some records, eh? Rare for a movie, and the first time for an animated movie, should the estimates be on the low end. Very possible the actual is like $98-99m, which is still very impressive, and only an approx. 35% drop.

If it gets over $100m over the three-day, it'll sit with all-timers THE FORCE AWAKENS, ENDGAME, INFINITY WAR, BLACK PANTHER, JURASSIC WORLD, and THE AVENGERS...

Really shows that the original INSIDE OUT is beloved after its blockbuster run in 2015, and it shows that audiences quite like this movie and are back for more. Might even make a play for INCREDIBLES 2's $608m domestic total, unadjusted of course. (The actual total in today's ticket prices is around $720m, per The-Numbers.) That would make it the highest-earning animated movie domestically, but right now, Pixar's Supers hold that title. Adjusted, it will always belong to SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS.

But if anybody was gonna beat Pixar, it was gonna be Pixar. I don't see another studio getting a shot at this, maybe except cousin studio Disney Animation and their MOANA 2... Or DreamWorks if SHREK 5 really lands like a meteor in a few years from now.

Worldwide, INSIDE OUT 2 sits at $724m. Again, within two weeks of release. Already circling the original's $857m take. (Before anyone says it, the film saw a small re-release in July 2020 that pushed the take to... $858m. Know that I refer to original release grosses, lol.)

And with this movie doing so well, I see all the Chicken Little-ing... Over the wrong problem.

"We're NEVER getting an original movie from this studio again"

Okay... Let me try to debunk this.

I don't think an animation studio of this size can feasibly ONLY make sequels, because eventually... Wells run dry. Also, the people who yell this often online... Are they aware that ELIO exists and will be released next summer? Are they aware that Domee Shi, director of TURNING RED, has a new movie in the works at Pixar? (It's not ELIO, she is likely just doing story/script on that one.) Are they aware that Pixar has a movie slotted for release in late winter 2026 between ELIO and TOY STORY 5?

I'll tell you something funny... There was a fellow who insisted to me in December 2015 that Pixar was going to be done with original movies after THE GOOD DINOSAUR became the studio's first money-loser. That they'd put COCO on hold, and that would be it... LOL. This person also claimed to be a shareholder... That speaks volumes.

But no, really... You need to keep making untested or original movies in order to have things to make sequels to in the first place. And one of Pixar's recent losses was... A spin-off of TOY STORY featuring a version of one of their most recognizable, practically synonymous-with-their-name characters. Yeah, that epic movie about Lenny the binoculars!

So, please... Never making originals again? That's just a bad business plan and completely not feasible.

When originals/non-sequels don't meet the corporations' expectations (because I refuse to call SOUL, LUCA, TURNING RED and ELEMENTAL "flops" in any way, shape, or form... *Especially* the first three), the studios don't stop making them... They stop making them in a specific way.

Hence, Pete Docter - likely with Bob Iger pointing a gun at his head - saying Pixar won't make "autobiographical" movies anymore. Basically no more TURNING REDs, and more... Well, whatever the early 2026 movie is going to be. (Which is not this "Ducks" thing people keep insisting it is, as far as I know.)

The other studios do that, too. Off the top of my head... DreamWorks had a bunch of these fantasy movie in the works circa 2011. Stuff like THE GRIMM LEGACY, RUMBLEWICK, ALMA, fantastical stories with something of a darker bent to them. They were also considering adapting GIL'S ALL FRIGHT DINER... They had all these really cool movies in the works that would've redefined what a DreamWorks movie could be, post-SHREK. And then after a movie called RISE OF THE GUARDIANS lost money (even though it had good legs and became a cult hit thereafter), all of it never happened. ME AND MY SHADOW, which was in some form of production and was HOTLY anticipated by the animation community, got canceled. They proceeded to finish TURBO and MR. PEABODY & SHERMAN.

Both of which also "flopped"... I remember Jeffrey Katzenberg, when he was still running that place, saying something to the tune of: "Well those failed because we tried to aim at preteens and teenagers." Really? TURBO and PEABODY, which were overpriced to begin with, were aiming for that age group? The plan going forward was "We're going to make movies for kids and their parents." Whatever the hell that meant. Eventually, Comcast bought DreamWorks, a little over a year later. And the flightplan constantly changed after that.

Studios don't give up on movies that aren't sequels, they just re-route them. They find "reasons" for previous movie failures, and usually it's the fault of the filmmakers and the stories they chose to tell. It's never any outside circumstances, which are actually often the case with money-losing movies. The very movies that go on to be big on home video and streaming, and attain cult followings. With today's line of thinking, Walt Disney wouldn't have even gotten past PINOCCHIO's disastrous original release results.

So instead of yelling "we'll never get original movies again", I direct my energy elsewhere... And I say "Well, hopefully the future movies - both original and sequel - don't fall flat because of needless executive interference that attempts to *correct* a perceived problem." That to me is the issue, not the fantasy of Pixar completely stopping making original movies altogether.

Lore // Backstory:

Crystal’s earliest memories were of a dark alley, the shadows stretching, practically yearning for her to come in as a sweet yet haunting tune played. From where this tune originated, she had no clue.

She followed it blindly, her mind blank. Before she could even process what had happened, she had been swept away from the hall as she felt someone, carrying her over their shoulder, as they ran out the door.

Hundreds, maybe thousands of screams pierced through her ears, her eyes widening, slowly but steadily realising what was going on before bursting into tears, screaming alongside the crowd for her mother.

Yet wailing and crying was of no use, as she was forcefully loaded into some conspicuous cart, her mouth chewing on a piece of rope.

Out of fatigue, fear and despair, she had collapsed.

The next time she woke up, she was in… nowhere. The forests looked unfamiliar, there were no castles, guards or even a townsfolk in sight.

Crawling up on her knees, she wandered aimlessly. She had resorted to eating dry roots and berries to survive, as much as they were a complete downgrade from her usual meals.

Perhaps at a certain point in life, she knew no one was going to come and rescue her. To know that she was alone in the world, and that she had no one but herself to rely on.

Almost twelve years went by since that day. It had been very tiring and long these past years. Resorting to various gigs to get by, her hands certainly weren’t… clean. Crystal didn’t even know if she’d make it past twenty really.

It was lonely, isolating and quite exhausting. Crystal knew, somewhere deep down, that perhaps in this life of hers, she was going to die alone. Maybe on a job. Or in some side alley.

But she didn’t want to. She wanted more than this. She deserved more than whatever the hell it is she’s doing now.

And yet. It was almost baffling and mocking how many turns life could give you.

On one faithful day, while strolling down a street with no particular aim, Crystal accidentally rammed into someone. Both their heads colliding with one another.

“Oh, oh my god. I’m so so so sorry! Here, uh, let me help you..”

Crystal was still rubbing her head on her forehead, her ankle throbbing. She was about to yell at the girl when she felt… familiarity with those blue eyes.

The girl seemed close in age to her, though she was clearly more well-kept than Crystal. In more ways than one. Her long hair was tied back in a braid with a large pink bow, her summer dress bellowed in the wind. Even she perhaps felt something off, her eyes piercing into Crystal’s, an eyebrow raised.

Crystal snapped back to reality, taking the girl’s outstretched hand and pulling herself up. She felt something near her ankle, but her brain was too clouded to realise it.

An awkward silence was followed. The girl tilted her head and analysed Crystal. She looked away.

“Do I… have we met before?”

“…no, no.”

Another silence was followed before it was cut through by a gasp. Crystal looked around, trying to figure out where the sound cane from before realising who it came from: the girl right in front of her, hands clasped to her mouth, her eyes looking down.

Crystal’s gaze followed hers, and took a second to realise her ankle had a blooming bruise. Oh so conveniently, the pain finally blasted through her daze as she felt a harsh sting in her ankle. Crystal suddenly fell to the floor, clutching her ankle wincing.

The girl panicked, taking out her purse and searching through for something. She pulled out a roll of bandages, hastily threw off Crystal’s shoe and wrapped them around her ankle and foot.

Crystal’s brain could not process what was going on as fast as what was happening. Some time in the future, she still couldn’t. Though… there was one thing she remembered fondly about the whole ordeal.

The feeling of her feet leaving the ground, as she felt a warm hands carrying her, their breath panicked, urgent. Despite the pain and pretty stupid predicament: Crystal felt a odd sense of comfort and deja vu looking at the older girl.

Like she knew her somewhere.

Crystal pushed it out of her mind as the girl, introducing herself as ‘Hannah’ to the doctors as they all showed some weird expression on their face.

Ok so hes not really from a story. He was made for a ttrpg we were gonna have in class like a few years ago (but our teacher.....forgot.......) and I was *really excited* because we'd get to do worldbuilding and cool characters

UGH i lost my old notebook i had that year (i think i know where it is but i cant get it rn so im just gonna go off memory and a few doodles from another notebook)

Okay so the premise of the setting of the rpg is that a great war was happening (we had to make a world based off WW1) bewteen three large forces (which i... lost the details of) and Mika was from one of them but then after the war started his family moved in to another one (i don't remember the reasons)

There was some magic happening here and some really nice worldbuilding stuff but i do not remember it very well so we're just gonna ignore it for a while

They are genderfluid and go by he/they and back on his country there wasn't much an issue to transition so when he moved to the Other Country during the War he just continued presenting as a man.

Mika's true surname is Mia, but when he moved with his family (he was around twelve i think?) due to Reasons they changed their last name to Mirrors. They also have some magic which is kinda illegal where they are at rn so they keep it a secret.

He's a bit sassy but can be polite when he wants, he is pretty well spoken and good at lying and theyir personality is very sweet. They don't like the cold and sometimes they wear dresses in secret and sneak into places (bc it would be a bit troublesome if people around his family found it out) and sometimes he wears hats.

yeah house feels to me like the kind of high maintenance person who just needs a place they can let go. I'm that way. I hate to lose control but deep down inside I'm dying for somewhere I feel safe to give it up. while I've written a ton of d/s stuff, Hilson is one of the first times I've actually explored it from that pov: the "I'm tired, be my resting place" angle. there's just something so lonely about being the firebrand, so a hearth to lay it down on is sometimes the only thing between you and demise; not that I'm especially gifted, we're not the same in that regard, I just take on so much of everyone else's problems because if there's something I *can* do, I can't *not* do it. big ups to my spouse for being that place I can go, however brattily, to lay everything down.

"some are wild" is the omegaverse fic (only writing it here so others can find it if they want); immediately before starting to write it, I had gone on a long, pseudo-philosophical rant on Bluesky about the patriarchy inherent in trad omegaverse. ironically I was in the midst of another doomed attempt to write reylo omegaverse, and over the course of both the Bluesky thread and my eventual discarding of said draft, I realized I'm just never gonna be able to write het omegaverse because of my own patriarchal hangups. hell. I live in the deep South of the US. shits too close to home.

so but then I was like "why tf do feral omegas get the knot cure, how about fuck you" and then I went and did all that. so yet again Hilson succeeds in excising the rot where other modes have failed.

every story teaches you something about yourself, and there are stories you can't write until you've learned certain things.

okay so (get ready for a long winded explanation of how my writing works sorry in advance)

for wipw, i have sort of a basic outline for plot points and stuff. i know roughly how each of the stories go and how they end. that being said, i have two docs (or more) per au. one with the outline and the other is the draft i'm posting for you guys. like here's the actual docs in my bookmarks (ignore my joke titles okay)

as you can see i've got all my wipw docs in a bookmark folder so i can find them easily. DIH, BB, OG, 🦊, and 🦊WIPW are all writing folders. DIH is a long fic for another fandom. BB stands for 'big bang' and is for all my 'cosmic lost and found' stuff. OG is my ocs stuff :). Fox is anything aftg-related that isn't for wipw. and finally wipw is... wipw.

ALSO 'strips and tags' is the doc where i keep my little 'headings' for wipw posts as well as the tags so i don't have to type that shit everytime! (ex: 'WIP Wednesday (10/25) | Guardian Angel Neil (Part --)'

anyway! i write on them and cut them into chunks for wipw. the size of the 'chunk' each ask gets depends on how well the story flows and if it's a good stopping point. so sometimes it's just a couple paragraphs and sometimes it's almost a full fucking page because i couldn't decide where to chop it?

also usually i like to work a bit ahead so i'm not starting with nothing the next week. so when i don't and i get a lot for a certain au it stresses me out bc i don't know where we're going and i have to come up with it on the fly so i can answer asks??

this is also why i write in order and i could never write bits and pieces here and there all over the timeline like Ash does. it would Stress Me Out sooo bad lol

to answer the actual question: yeah.

for the most part, it's mostly how the final draft will be. but in the final i'll probably flesh out certain bits to make it make sense. like we just Jump into the scene a lot in wipw posts and it makes sense for wipw posts. but it wouldn't in an actual longfic on ao3? you know?

also in angel neil, some of the events are out of order. i never expected people to care about it so much so originally it was gonna be a lotttt shorter so andrew talks to betsy about it right away. i think in the Finished Fic (whenever that will be) he won't mention neil to betsy for a while?? but idk for sure we still have a long ass way to go.

10. at what point in the process do you come up with titles and how easy or hard is that for you?

fuck. i HATE titles. 99% of the time it's the very last thing I do and half the time i forget about it until i open tumblr to make the post. For one shots i generally read through it again and pick a phrase or repeating word and use that. For series: i'll usually pop onto discord with a brief summary and ask if ppl have ideas, otherwise i have a note in my phone of potential titles that are generally song titles or lyrics. i like my series titles to actually mean something and tie into the story whereas i dont give a fuck about the one shots LOL

20. what is your favourite trope to write?

forbidden love? we're gonna pretend that's a thing lol. like, stories have to have conflict and what's better than two people who wanna fuck/date/whatever and either can't or shouldn't, or like, their bosses would frown upon it, right? like, any and all degree of it, not particularly totally forbidden.

30. most inspirational quote you've ever read or heard that's still important to you.

christ. i cannot think of anything rn. My mind went straight to disney because there are so many things that light up my passion/motivation. the last time we were there we saw the "new" (lol) fireworks show and it had this little speech that was all "no go, let your dreams guide you, reach out and find your happily ever after" and it was kinda the resurge i needed at the time to be all "oh fuck, that's right, i just need to focus" as the old fireworks show had a bit that i like, wished on every fucking night and always made me cry about cause of how i related to it. wow i'm SO cool HA.

bit of both! for one shots it's usually just the prompt i was given/found and MAYBE a bit of a blurb scenario.

series: i will not start until i have a much more detailed outline and a rough idea of how it's going to end. nothing is specifically labelled and as i work on the story the outline gets longer, more fleshed out, sometimes there's full conversations or smut pieces in the outline and eventually ch's get labelled and sometimes it's like "ch 4, they go to this hotel and fuck" lol

60. where is the most dangerous place that you're written fic?

work. was stuck in the bar (that guests dont have access to) during service time with nothing else to do. my manager literally came in and teased me about not working and then later asked what i was working on and i said "fanfic, but that's all i'm telling you cause a lot o its real gay and real dirty" LOL

70. are you ever critical of your own writing? how much do you find yourself editing (either during or after the fact?)

i'm SO critical, but it's like, when i'm rereading it months down the road and it's been posted and too late to edit LOL. and it's mainly me just looking at old works that are SO trope filled and slightly cringe and include lot of the stuff that i no longer write.

I don't edit too much at all lol. I'll catch most typos or grammar while going/on a brief read through but it's VERY rare i'll actually go back to edit a full passage the next day or anything. Hence my very detailed outlines! i will edit from there to the fic cause i'll add to the outlines whenever something sparks in my brain and i know its good lol.

80. do you try to put themes, motifs, messages, morals, etc in your writing?

uhh... no? LOL. sometimes i do, and sometimes they just end up there completely by accident.

It’s been some time, and I managed to slip on my promised deadline once again (thank you for your patience)... But finally‚ we return to the story of Teresa and Andrea in our Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky Randomizer!

A few items of note before we get started (and yeah sorry this is overly detailed and lengthy because idk what it means to be concise, just scroll down if you're not interested):

Please be aware: updates to Team Heavenly’s story will not be as frequent as they were during main. I now work a full-time job in a field where my schedule is somewhat contingent on unanticipated emergencies. And in general‚ I’m just a very busy adult! So I unfortunately can’t give you an exact (or even rough) timeline of when posts will be released— It basically comes down to whenever I have the time to do it. But rest assured‚ the entirety of this tale will be told… eventually!

I’ve gotten my hands on a newer tablet since last year, so my camera quality is much better now! …However. While snapping pics for this post‚ a seemingly unavoidable digital blue glare persisted‚ no matter how I adjusted my screen brightness. When I subsequently ran these photos through the auto function‚ they didn’t really… improve? So I had to do a lot of manual tweaking… Anyway‚ all of that to say if one shot doesn’t look visually consistent with another, it’s because each image got edited a little bit differently.

I will link multiple posts for a single "chapter" (see last bullet) in the same manner as before, with preceding and succeeding parts linked at the beginning and end, respectively. I’ll also update the table of contents in the pinned post for continued ease of navigation.

Also, please note... last year, my older iPad somehow managed to circumvent any sort of (consistent) image limit. But that is not the case this time! There is a strict hard limit of 30 images per post. It's therefore likely that post-game chapters will have more parts than the main-story chapters ever did. (Though whether that actually equates to a "lengthier" chapter is up for debate.)

As the post-game content does not get separated into official chapters‚ I will be partitioning the story based on subject matter! For example, this first act will focus on the guild’s graduation exam, the next will include Sky Peak, and so on. I also intend to use a random number generator to select chapter names from this list. (I mean, c’mon, that's part of the fun of a randomizer!) But for the sake of clarity, I will be including the actual subject matter after the chosen title in (parentheses). Thus‚ this first unofficial post-game chapter is known as…

hey! what's up? this is the only thing I care about for the time being so I'm gonna ramble about it! I don't know what I'm doing! all of this could be wrong! I'm very excited!

What The Heck Is Antikythera?

i didnt know what this was and it seemed somewhat important since it's in the title (lol) so I looked it up.

one of the first things I found was the wiki article for the Antikythera mechanism, which is basically a computer/calculator from Ancient Greece that predicted astronomical positions and eclipses. It was found in a Roman shipwreck in the Mediterranean in 1901 and might have been constructed as far back as 205 BC. (it had gears and everything! cool!)

Considering this device is related to astronomy and approximately, oh, ALL of our protagonists are interested in and have connections to astronomy, I don't think that's a coinkydink! additionally, since this is fictional and there are no limits, mayhaps the Antikythera mechanism is a part of the story and it can do (and does do) more than predict celestial events...? 👀

Now, I admit I read about this one interesting thing and kinda just ran with it, but in case there's anything else about this itty bitty little island, I did look into it more. According to the Wikipedia, Antikythera was settled and abandoned several times throughout history. This is also where the wreck with the mechanism was discovered (hence the name), and apparently lots of birds use the island as a pit stop during migration, but that's about it. It's enough for me to laugh shrug and carry on with my mechanism theories, lol.

The Ellen Austin, The Bermuda Triangle, & Maybe A Ghost Ship

Since our beloved quartet is confirmed to be aboard the Ellen Austin and they're en route through the Bermuda Triangle/Sargossa Sea where the Ellen Austin is said to have encountered a ghost ship, I'm gonna continue with my previously-held theory that we're getting a ghost ship encounter! (In one story about the Ellen Austin, they had some of the crew go onto the ghost ship to bring it back to shore with them, and the crew ~mysteriously vanished~ which is... interesting. 👀)

I have a few ideas about what this potential ghost ship might be:

An Ancient Greek vessel straight from Antikythera, with or without a mechanism, but probably with. [squints at map] I mean, the Mediterranean isn't that far from the Sargossa Sea/Bermuda Triangle area. And/or maybe there was some time-and-space nonsense happening that could land it on the other side of the Atlantic. If our quartet could get poofed from a satellite in 1835 back to Earth in 1881(?), then a mysterious ship could plausibly get zapped to another place and/or time. Might be a bit too on the nose but c'mon, the name is in the title, there's gotta be a connection to Antikythera, and who says it can't be this? Could also have ghosts!

A slightly less ancient Roman cargo ship like the (shipwrecked) one that had the Antikythera mechanism. (Please see above for hand-waving about date & location.) Maybe the ship has a mechanism on board, and maybe it's also got ghosts—both of the Ancient Greek variety via the mechanism, and of the slightly less ancient Roman variety via it's their dang boat. Bonus points if the Greek/Antikytheran(?) ghosties were scaring the daylights out of the Romans and are responsible for the ship becoming a (double) ghost ship. Of course this also hinges on how literal the "ghosts" in The Ghosts of Antikythera are, but I'll ramble about that in a little bit.

A much less ancient ship from whatever eras make it more likely to be in the Sargossa Sea, but it has an Antikythera mechanism somehow. This would take out a lot of fuss about how the ship got here or how it could have survived this long without being wrecked or discovered, AND it would bring up new and fun questions such as "why does this random ship have an Ancient Greek mechanism" and I call that a win-win. Could be a classic pirate ship, could be a newer vessel that'd be more familiar to the crew of the Ellen Austin... idk im not a boat guy but I think there's some fun possibilities.

bonus theory: the ghost ship has "witch" in the name or has a name related to witches, or maybe literally just has "wicked" in the name, purely based off this tweet:

Just 'cause, you know... wicked, witches. The waves could be just part of the water theme since (i assume) the episode takes place predominantly at sea, or perhaps the ghost ship is literally carried "this way" by the waves.

Ghosts — Like, Literally? Or Do You Mean Metaphorically?

We already know that Pulp Musicals will be exploring multiple genres—sci-fi, horror, mystery, adventure—so I'm betting episode three will add some horror to the mix, especially after Matt's delightfully ominous words in the trailer:

In this web of mystery, Margaret has begun to unravel her own... but she is not the only one awakening. And soon, our heroes will find that the light of discovery can bring forth shadows darker than anything they could have ever imagined.

...Yeah, sounds like horror and/or ghosts to me! So maybe the ghosts of Antikythera are real actual spooky scary spirits, in which case I am very excited to pull up a chair and listen to Herschel scoff and try to find a rational, scientific explanation for any spooky happenings. (Idk if he believes in ghosts or not, but in this case I hope he doesn't because that will make it much funnier for me. <3 )

On the other hand, "horror" is incredibly vague, so maybe we won't get jump-out-and-say-boo ghosts at all. Maybe the ghosts of Antikythera are more unsettling because they aren't an active, supernatural force wreaking havoc on the open sea—maybe they're just an empty vessel, forgotten memories, and the lingering consequences of the actions taken by people who are long since dead. What's scarier—the dead staying behind to screw with you face to face, or the dead abandoning their troubles & mistakes and leaving clueless strangers to get stuck with the deadly fallout?

Honestly, tho? I'm excited either way, and I'm very curious to see how scary Matt plans to go.

Theories That Don't Have A Ghost Ship, Because You Never Know

I am 100% behind the ghost ship theory, but making theories is fun so why not throw some other ones out there. Full disclosure, I don't think these are that likely, and some are mostly gonna be for laughs.

They find a shipwreck. I'm really only considering this because the Antikythera mechanism was found on a wreck. I don't think the Ellen Austin would stop to investigate a shipwreck if they happened upon one, and I also don't know if they'd even have the equipment to safely or effectively investigate it if they wanted to. Then again, maybe they would stop if they saw the wreck go down, and also who needs to go down in the water if you have a passenger with magic powers? If Margaret could launch the Sagitta, she could probably fish up a wreck easy peasy. Maybe she wouldn't even need the ship to stop, she could just see (or sense?) something in the water and reach out with the Radiance. And if whatever she brought onto the Ellen Austin was haunted, then that could kick off the ghost stuff... huh. I actually kinda like this idea!

Atlantis? I think someone mentioned this in the chat for the trailer's premiere. I'm inclined to say "probably not" though... unless the quartet gets poofed or otherwise summoned closer to Greece. But I think they'll probably be sticking around the Sargossa Sea, since there isn't a lot of time for them to be traveling all around in a ~90 minute episode, and the previous episodes kinda picked a place and stayed there. Doesn't necessarily mean we couldn't get an underwater city (or formerly underwater city), of course. It just probably wouldn't be Atlantis.

...I actually don't have any other ideas right now, lol. I really think it's gonna be a ghost ship. And that the Antikythera mechanism has something to do with it.

Hi! Would you mind telling me about your favourite thing you've ever created?

Oh my gosh I dont even know where to start!!!! I've made a lot of things in my 19 years of life; both fandom related and original ideas, writing and drawing! So I'm gonna choose one of each because I can't choose just one (this is going to be long lol)

For fan writing, I have to say my favorite thing I've made so far is for Haikyuu (of course lol). It's a fantasy au that originally focused on Kyoutani x Yamaguchi where Kyoutani's a demon/cambion who's apart of this infamous demon family that's known for bringing destruction. He and his brothers are summoned to bring down a kingdom that was already on the verge of collapsing b/c of a shitty king who pissed a lot of people off. But Kyoutani becomes enamored with Yamaguchi, who all the demons mistake for the prince. Then Kyoutani gets in trouble because he decides to spare and help heal Yamaguchi even though they were supposed to kill all the royalty. It isn't until a demon king comes to "finish the job" that it's revealed that Yamaguchi isn't the prince, but the personal servant of the princess. Then this would branch into another story focused on Hinata x Aone where prince Hinata and his sister flee to the neighboring kingdom in the mountains. Then Hinata tries to befriend the shy prince Aone and they end up falling in love after Aone saves Hinata from hypothermia after he was thrown by a horse into a river. I still love this idea even though I haven't finished either of these fics. I've put so much thought into it and I don't want to publish anything until I have the whole story written out so I don't leave anything on a cliffhanger. I do intend to finish these fics one day and maybe add another to the universe where Yamaguchi, Aone, Hinata, and some other characters (i'm thinking Tsukishima and Kageyama) go on some journey, but idk. But if we're talking about published fics I'm still so proud of my Yamaguchi x Kyoutani cowboy au "The Hat Rule" that's published on my ao3, it's the longest fic I've been able to finish so far!

For fan art, this is going to be hard. I'm kinda in a rut right now where I hate my art style, but I still really like this art I made for my cowboy au fic "The Hat Rule" that I mentioned before

For original works, i think my favorite story would have to be this fantasy story that's working title is "Of Dragons and Unicorns" where the princess of the unicorn kingdom, Sylvia, is betrothed to the crown prince of the dragon kingdom, Eluard, but she's really resentful about it because she's only met him once when they were really young so she doesn't remember him at all and all the portraits she gets of him make him look dull and boring. But the dragon royalty and other royalty are coming to the unicorn kingdom to celebrate Sylvia at a debutante ball thing. Basically, Sylvia is cold to Eluard and his brother Oswald at first but after she has a slight meltdown at her ball, Eluard opens up to her and they become friends. I'm hoping for a one sided enemys-to-friends-to-lovers kind of story. Then in a different story Sylvia would move to the dragon kingdom where she'd learn that Eluard has an estranged twin brother and both of them have this curse(?) that gives them dragon traits (scales, wings, claws). While the estranged brother embraces his traits and sees it as an excuse to not be responsible for his actions, Eluard is ashamed of it and tries to hide his traits from Sylvia. Then this would lead to the whole "prince saves princess from dragon" situation where BOTH of the princes are dragons (kinda) and Sylvia is so rude to the estranged brother that he gives her up voluntarily. But this story is SO far from finished that I don't know when or if it'll ever be done. I've put so much thought into the world building for this story that I could honestly spend hours talking about it. I truly love this story, but I literally can't find the motivation in me to work on it.

For original drawings, this is a hard one. I have a lot of OC's that have my whole heart, but my favorite digital drawing has to be this one with burlesque cocker spaniels. For a little context, I like drawing animals in old fashioned clothes when I'm super stressed because it makes me feel better. I'm not an official furry (I don't have a fursona or anything), but this piece brings me a certain pride that none of my others do. Maybe it's the lighting

Fun Facts about Eric (Fun Facts with OC's Series)

EYYYY IT'S OUR OTHER MAIN CHARACTER, THE OPPOSITE BOI ERIC

Eric is an Opposite, aka he was brought back to life by a magical as fuck mirror, titled the Opposite Mirror. Basically, it makes an opposite version of anyone who looks inside it, and Eric is Emma's opposite

If you're wondering about his previous life, he was a prince who was abused by his parents. Long story short, he died from alcohol and drug poisoning after being forced to live off of those for a week in his parent's dungeon. He was 16 when this happened btw

Fun little thing about the mirror, is that sometimes, when making an opposite, it ties the well being and life of one of it's creations to the real version. So if the real version gets cut across the chest, the opposite version with just have a cut magically cut across their chest too. GUESS WHO HAS THIS NEAT LITTLE ABILITY

Now, for all physical damage/affects, Eric and Emma share the consequences, like if Emma gets stabbed, Eric is gonna get a stab wound where Emma got stabbed and vice versa, BUT for all emotional damage/affects, it's surprisingly the opposite. For example, if Emma is crying or depressed, Eric would feel fantastic, while if Eric was feeling overwhelmed by something, Emma would randomly feel underwhelmed.

Eric is the leader of the Opposite dimension (Which is hosted in the mirror) and even runs the large orange hotel there for his other opposite brethren

Eric is tall, like 6 foot 2 tall. He has hit his head on several door frames before

Eric's weapon gifted to him by Void is made of his confidence. It's a magenta glove that can summon and throw/shoot fireballs. Now, when he first got it, it was manageable, but after suffering his first of many defeats from Creator, his magic went haywire, becoming so powerful that summoning a fireball in his glove, you know, his only way to attack, would start to BURN OFF HIS SKIN. He has several burn marks that have just healed over the burnt skin

Fun fact, aside from the magenta in Eric's eyes/magic, and the light yellow shirt and black pants of Emma and white socks of Eric, Eric and Emma share the exact same colors (131 Skin White, 23 Orange, CG1 Cool Grey, and 92 Chocolate)

If you want to know why Eric wears a dress, it's cause A. He found out he really likes them and B. the Opposite Mirror considers a dress the "opposite" of a jacket... for some reason (Cause I said so. I know it's not, but let teenage me cook okay)

Yes, Eric is a very VERY old OC. He was made before ANY of the Gods, aside from Chaos (Calmie was made third out of the main three Opposites, aka Eric, Daniel, and Calmie)

Also yes, Eric is a gender swap of Emma, and this is why the Opposites exist (Cause teenage me liked the idea of a gender swap lol)

Eric is the first Destroyer who doesn't have any black in his design, but he does have the dark magenta

Eric is kinda stuck at the age of 16, body wise (He was a very tall 16 year old boy. thank his parents dude)

If you've ever had siblings, then you know how Eric and Emma treat each other. (Murder, just straight murder)

Eric surprisingly can't cook to save his life, he will burn his hotel down, even without using anything that can burn (Bro can burn water by putting it in the fridge, that's the kind of incompetence we're working with here)

By the way, if you want to know the height situation with other characters, Eric is 6'2, Daniel is 5'4, Calmie is 3'6, Emma is 5'3, Chaos is 5'5, and Amber is 5'5. So yes, Eric is MONSTROUSLY TALL compared to everyone, and Calmie is SO FUCKING TINY compared to everyone (Human that is. Calmie is about the same size as most of the object characters)

Eric has several long dresses in different colors, including dark green and bright as fuck pink

If you're wondering the kind of enegry this man has, combine Dr. Doofenshmirtz with Gibi ASMR in her blooper videos and you get Eric. He's chaos incarnate while also being slightly evil (and even sucking that that)

Eric will eat fucking EVERYTHING, except for chocolate. He just... CAN'T with chocolate. This also extends to many energy drinks, including coffee. He just hates caffeine and fun (Clearly)

Its hard to believe we're 6/7 nations in... it feels like our "final goal", aka our sibling & The Abyss Order is still so far away... i mean, i know we're still gonna get Khaenri'ah, so Sneznihya (sorry spelling) won't be the *last* region, but still... i'm worried about it ofc, but i feel like the "point" of Genshin is a big journey. Like Mualani said in her quest, its not about the destination.

Iansan is actually saying some good stuff... i struggle w/ changing things too. Like i've fallen off brushing my teeth at night, or going to bed at a regular time, & its rly hard to get back into a healthy routine... also sometimes w/ things, like playing games, i just... over think it. I think i need to look up a bunch of guides & prep so i do everything perfectly, but i just need to cut that out & start doing it :v

I've been thinking lately... i'm more of a perfectionist than i thought. If i'm not confidant in smt, its hard to even start. I'd almost rather just not try at all... i hate doing things half-assed. It feels like if i can't give it my all, i might as well not even bother. I used to think that i wasn't 1 bc i'm fine w/ not getting all As or winning, but idk... this last trimester at school was rly hard 4 me...

Ok so... that was pretty peaceful, but idk i liked it... it was nice after Act 4. I still feel like Act 3 was pretty boring... idk why, i don't have anything in particular to complain about. It rly endeared me to Citlali, & Ororon was pretty cute/amusing but still... to me, it was just the worst act in Natlan. What's w/ the Act 3 curse? I didn't mind it so much, but i know ppl rly didn't like Fontaine Act 3 either... i don't remember Sumeru, but Inazuma Act 3 was the worst 1 too... but in that case it was bc that was b4 Hoyo allowed more acts to fully flesh out a story.

Anyway, ofc i'm def excited to see where this goes! Kinda disappointed that it was brought up, but we didn't actually get our Ancient Name yet...
