My sketches from the magma @dimorphodon-x hosted! I had so much fun watching everyone make their art! I'd definitely be down to do something like this again, a thousand times over! (Also, Pike is the hollow knight vessel character! I made him recently, and I might talk about him when I get more info about him fleshed out :>)

Also here they are! All versions of 02/Radio/TV that I've made so far! ^^
This was originally a small guide for my friend to draw all of them, showing their markings and differences, but I might as well post them here too.
Maybe I can post their lore and stories here soon? :3 We'll see!
Anyways, here are their individual references!
TV
the original (at least the very first one)
an upgraded 02! (more on what that means another time)
was working with a certain virus previously, but now is on his own
former amnesiac, he knows what he's supposed to be doing. frankly, doesn't do it out of spite <3
Fallacy
an upgraded 02 variant, technical darker variant of TV
travels frequently between the UTMV multiverse and an unknown one...
very closed off (unless you're a certain someone of his)
he's totally friendly guys (i say, like a liar)
seems to remember some things...
Scrap
an 02 variant that slipped between the spaces of AUs, ending up in Salvage (created by @galacii )
was mainly created for this setting! A fun little what-if to explore
has yet to be developed further (hopefully soon :3)
not upgraded nor even powered on! (Low-Battery Mode)
Radio
an 02 variant
works with Shattered Dream (by @galacii )
has a piece of Shattered's SOUL inside of him :3
currently trying his best to help Shattered with his goals
still an amnesiac, but doesn't mind not knowing any of his past for now!
(You can find out more about him here: @shit-hell-no-radio )
Vendetta
a Radio variant ? (02 variant) ???
a collection of mismatch parts from other 02 variants stitched together to make something new...
originally was a Radio from a previous time...
doesn't know who he is anymore
my favorite 02 variant :3 (sorry Radio idsgjsdogjsighsoi)
hunts other 02s for parts (and a certain someone as well...)
Renaissance
A Vendetta variant (these just keep getting more and more complex :skull:)
basically the result of a different route Vendetta could have gone down- a non-canon off shoot of his story :3
Ren is made up of a few different 02s than Vendetta
funkier, more messed-up version of Vendetta (yikes)
######
a 02 variant that's... not really an 02 anymore
a ghost possessing an 02 to use as its vessel
currently looking for work
basically me repurposing an older OC that needed a body :3
more to come about him maybe later..??
sooo yeah! Yay for 02 variants!

I've been working on an AU as of late. I doubt anyone will really care, but nonetheless I want to talk about it on here because I figure it'll be awhile before I get the comic I'm thinking of out anyways.
It's essentially the same as canon, with one deviation in the storyline. The Lamb, who is named Nolawi here, attempts to sacrifice themself to save Narinder multiple times. But see, the problem is that in the game, when you try to sacrifice yourself to Narinder... You can't. You're brought to the credits screen, yes, but you can continue your save just like normal. Theres no ending after you sacrifice yourself, you're just sent back in time. Nolawi essentially gets stuck in a time loop through this. The first few times, they're confused. They think theres a mistake, they must've been dreaming-- or something odd like that. They fully intend to sacrifice themself. They see it as their final decision, one that will free their benefactor and give them closure. They don't want to become a god. They are at peace with their standing. But the universe denies them. They cannot sacrifice themself. They are stuck in a loop of dying and coming back.
Eventually, the universe begins to shiver at their sheer determination. And by shiver, I mean crack. There's only so many times one can deny their own fate before the fates begin to doubt themselves. Nolawi is a stubborn lamb, and they won't let the world deny them their choice. After so long of doing this, the universe finally responds. The 'Mystic Seller' (or, 'weird physical manifestation of that above divinity' AKA 'the fucking universe itself') presents itself to Nolawi and offers them a deal. The Universe will return Narinder to the living world, he will be-- by all means-- freed. But Nolawi must give up their entire flock in return. Nolawi, as a name, means Shephard. It's a religious name, specifically one from Ethiopia, Nolawi-- or ኖላዊ is God who gave his life for his sheep (mankind). Thus, by accepting this deal, Nolawi betrays who they are as a person and as a god to their flock. They give up their flock as sacrifice for their own selfish wants-- rather then how it should be. Nolawi declines the request. Believing it to be asinine, and the Universe false. They are stubborn, they are the chosen vessel of he who waits, they can be persistent and wait for the Universe to crack as they continue to try and sacrifice themself to Narinder. ...But the Universe is endlessly more patient then a single Lamb. Who is, at this time, still just a vessel, and not a true god. Nolawi is playing with fate, and fate never loses. So eventually, they finally give in. And their entire flock is sacrificed, while Narinder and them are saved. Narinder is freed, as a god in his own right-- But lacking the same power he would've gained if Nolawi had been sacrificed. He is weak, and they are shattered. The Universe freed Narinder as a Bishop and not a Mortal on purpose. Think of it as a petty little 'fuck you' to Nolawi for keeping it waiting for so long. Because Narinder is not a Mortal, he cannot be a part of their flock. So they cannot recruit him.
What is a Shephard without a Flock? Nolawi finds this question a taunt. They're purposeless. They defied fate, yes, and they technically made their own choice AGAINST fate. But there is no victory for them. There is no justice. They are left at the hands of the world again with nothing. Only Narinder. They have a pretty damn unhealthy codependency here, especially because the Universe isn't willing to talk to a god who has no following. And they WILL die soon if they don't build their flock. So, they and Narinder are forced to work together for it. In all their toxicity.
I might elaborate upon this someday and I DO have a comic planned out for this AU, which is why I'm talking about it. I'd love to hear opinions or feedback. Thank you for reading, if you did! It means a lot.

New AU idea-Ghosting AU
So I’ve had this major head cannon about macaque, more specifically about his body.
In the book it says the monkeys don’t age cause their names are crossed off the book of the dead, but why not take it a step further where their bodies just straight up don’t change and that includes decomposing.
I head cannon that the LBD had a lot of reasons for choosing macaque as her champion. Main one being that she wanted to use him as a vessel cause of the 6 ears ability to listen to the past, present and future, and how how his strength is equal to Wukong, which I’ve seen a lot of ppl have this head cannon.
Another one is, as far as I can tell, Macaque is the only character in LMK that Wukong actually killed. But if we take the head cannon that his body can’t decompose, and how since his name is crossed off the book, he not under the 10 kings rule so technically they can’t make him stay in Diyu or have any say over his soul, plus with Wukong smashing the Diyu up last time, I don’t think anyone down there is jumping at the chance to try that stunt again. So Macaque is free to go, but his head on his physical body is still crushed so it can’t hold his soul
So LBD saw this as the perfect chance to try to make a deal with Macaque to help with her plan, saying she can bring him back to life. She leaves out the part of where all she has to do is heal Macaques head so he can just pop back in, and makes it seem like a huge and complicated feat that requires a huge amount of magic (which she didn’t have being trapped) and it would be only fair that Macaque help free her for all the trouble she’s going though to resurrect him. And as an added bonus, her healing Mac’s body would mean putting a lot of her magic in it, which would make him easier to control
I had an au idea where Macaque doesn’t accept LBD offer. He probably had enough with scheming, manipulative jerks trying to tell him what to do from being in the brother hood. Just like that song from Beetlejuice the musical “ I’ve been swimming with piranhas, I dont need a shark”. But he does get her to slip before he says no about the fact that macacque doesn’t have to stay in Diyu.
Macaque of course is salty about dying, and just haunts Wukong. Sometime Wukong can see Macaque with his golden vision but just assumes he’s lost it and just hallucinating Mac cause of his guilty conscious (which he doesn’t admit he has cause he double down on his hatred for Mac’s action and convinces himself it was justifiable ) and then resorts to just ignoring Mac. This of course angers Macaque, but 500+ years of haunting a guy, and watching him change and grow and mature might cool his anger and frustration a little and cause Mac to self-reflect too. Also its exhausting screaming and crying at someone who’s basically acting like a wall.
Eventually Mac is just so tired and off handed asked if Wukong could at least move his body to FFM cause he wants to be laid to rest at home. This finally gets a response from Wukong cause he doesn’t care how fucked up his psych is to be imagining his dead ex. He refuses to desecrate a grave. Besides Macs body probably long since decomposed. Hearing this does destroy Mac emotionally further since his body was the only thing he had left in the world and he didn’t even have a proper grave.
Some time passes and Wukong is glad the Hallucinations finally stopped and he can finally sleep. Meanwhile Mac’s ghost is out looking for his corpse which is a little difficult with how much time passed. He does eventually find it and was hoping that at least some of his bones survived. So color him shocked when he sticks his head in the ground and sees his whole ass body looking just like it did the day he died.
Mac does some math, figures out why LBD sought him out specifically, and inferred if he can get someone to heal his body he can stop ghosting around.
Wukong is the only one who can see him so of course he rushes back to Wukong begging for help, even stating he promises to leave and Wukong never has to see him again. But wukong just thinks the hallucinations are back and ignores him.
So when the new kid with wukong’s power start showing frustration in wukong teachings (which Mac also agrees that wukong sucks at teaching) he jumps at the chance to follow mk to town and wait for the next time he gets his butt kicked by a rampaging monster. Mac makes mk activate his golden vision, and gives the kid some actual pointers on his stance and fighting style so mk can take the master down
Mk is originally freaked out at this transparent monkey, but Mac lies and says its astro projection, and offers to help tutor mk where Wukong is slacking in teaching. In return, MK will help Mac out of the (literal) ditch when the time comes.
Mk agrees thinking Mac just wanted a friend. Mk still hides the fact that someone else is helping him train, but wukong is getting suspicious when mk starts asking about astro projection, but mk just says he read it somewhere so he doesn’t get the “have you been 2 timing me?”speech (which should have been a red flag to wukong cause mk doesn’t read, that’s why he has tang) but wukong buys the lie
Eventually wukong leaves for his ‘vacation’ so Mac asks for mk’s help now that he can’t ask for wukong to also help, and risk finding out what he did in the past. He asks mk to come to this specific area with a bed sheet (just because Macs body doesn’t decompose, doesn’t mean his clothes and armor don’t) and a shovel, saying they’re going to be digging up a fossil.
Mk had a dinosaur phase, hes psyched to find fossils. He does freak out when his digging unearths a hand, and tries to run away. Mac gets scared that mk won’t help him and screams that mk promised to help him out of the ditch. This makes mk stop and turn back to Mac scared and upset expression, and how the hand mk dug up looks like Macs. Mk asks if Mac is a ghost, and Mac says yes but not really.
Mk oringaly thinks Mac wants his help solving his murder until Mac clarifies the limbo state he’s in and how he just needs mk to get his body to a healer for him to come back to life and be free, upping th tear jerking fact that he’s been trapped in this state of existence for so long without anyone to talk to or hug and its such a soul crushing existence
Mac purposefully leaves out how he and Wukong know each other and how Wukong is his killer, cause Mac thinks with his hero worshiping, mk would take wukong’s side on this, and believe Mac is a schemeing villain who deserves his fate.
Mk agrees and digs out the rest of Mac to bring him home and starts trying too find a healer, this also involves stuffing macaques corpse in his closet(lol), hiding him under the bed, and weekend at bernie’s hid body so no one freaks out that mk has a corpse in his room.
This all comes to a head when LDB appears in the desert to take mk's staff and seal his powers, and she took Mac's corpse from MK's room when he was away and is using it like a puppet to attack the group. Mac is freaked out, and is double upset when mk's powers are sealed so Mac can't talk too mk anymore.
Wukong also is freaked out about his ex's corpse when he makes it back, and tells the group "i dunno how or why she has macaque's corpse" when everyone is on the ship flying away and theyre making the plan to get the fire. Which MK asks how Wukong knows mac. Wukong still has his gold vision and sees mac try to tell mk to stop. Wukong asks mk how he knows mac, and mk tells the story about how he and mac became friends. the others are freaked that mk not only was being haunted but was hiding a body, Wukong finally has the heart dropping conclusion that the hallucinations aren't hallucinations, cause other wise mk, who has never met macaque (or read journey to the west), wouldnt be able to see mac, and all these years where mac was begging for help was actually the real mac and he was ignoring him.
mac thinks Wukong still wont help and doesn't want to be around when he tells mk all the awful things mac did in the past so he leaves, but not before Wukong sees the pain, sadness and hoplessness on macs face. mac is gone before Wukong can stop him and is left processing all this. he doesnt get to do it long, cause LBD sent zombie mac to kidnap wukong and mk. wukong doesnt see mac's ghost but he does hear him when mac yells at him that mac had a injury that didnt heal right before his name was erased from the book of the dead, wukong uses that to get out of zombie macs hold, mk blows up the engine, and the ship sinks
i got more ideas of where this would go but wanted to make sure i wrote at least this out in case i wanna draw anthing later

A quick ramble about Mortal Voices AUs.
(Not really an analysis, just overall thoughts really)
Mortal Voices AUs are interesting to me
Cause like it gets to explore how the voices would become more then their nature and fully become their own person
I feel like aside from Hero the other voices would have a really hard time branching out, cause they’re personifications of singular aspects. It’s in Cold’s nature to long for something he can never have. It’s in Cheated’s nature to get screwed over. It’s in Paranoid’s nature to be, well, paranoid. It’s in Oppy’s nature to look after himself first and backstab another for it. When they’re only voices, they can’t really help it. It’s in their nature to be this way and they literally don’t know how to act anyway different. They had a purpose to fulfill and without that purpose they would probably go insane(well, except for Cold cause he didn’t have one in the first place). But if they’re gonna be mortals they will be gifted with the ability to make their own choices. The ability to change.
Aaaaand there comes the Nature vs Nurture theme
How the Voices can change can make them better or so so SO much worse then where they’ve started. Smitten could learn a healthier way to express his devotion and emotions by picking up various hobbies to pour his heart into. Or he could go down an unhealthy spiral of obsession where he could harm others and even himself for the sake of love. In one world he and Cold could have start anew and come to an understanding of their perspective, and in another they would never understand each other and become worse and worse, with Cold provoking Smitten over and over again for his deep yearning for understanding and the ability to feel something and Smitten falling deeper into his spiral of “white knighting”, and in turn doing worse and worse things. In one world, Oppy is able to earn the trust of his flock mates and prove that their trust isn’t misplaced. In another, he would have backstabbed them all to get ahead. In one world, Stubborn would become the reliable protector of the group. In another, he would have left them in pursuit of a challenge and a purpose elsewhere.
The Skeptic from one world might be completely different from the Skeptic from another world. Cage Skeptic and Den Skeptic are technically two completely different Skeptics. The only difference being that the things they’ve experienced are different. So seeing how people take this concept of the Voices becoming mortals and going so many different directions for it is just. Fascinating to me.
Actually if the Voices are gonna become mortals what about the Vessels? I don’t think I’ve seen any mortal AUs that features them. It’s usually the Voices only. I’d love to read a fic where the Vessels would become more complex as they go alongside the Voices.
And then there’s the queerness of it all??? Of the voices searching for their own identity and becoming their own person??? That’s so nice honestly
Honestly Slay the Princess as a whole is just very queer.
(Edited to have this cause I have a stupid idea. Ignore this)

wanted to put out Yew's info page ahead of her comic appearance
Fern had a lot of cursed object siblings, the fandom should give them freed forms imo.
Nimblewill/Grass Wizard demon info/KY AU excerpts under the cut.
The Grass Wizard would probably use animals to make his demon infused grass items, whereas Hunson uses men and mutants/monsters to make Nightosphere citizens. People can choose to be reborn as demons (issue 51) & their souls aren't a slapped together mix of roadkill like my grass demons are and so they're far more emotionally stable. Nimblewill doesn't have the resources/power Hunson does in order to create stable living beings.
Fern's info for comparison:
animals: common octopus/wolf spider, ingredients: crab grass/bee balm, vessel: the grass blade/Finn, YOB: 999 AMW, curse: fettering.
KY AU Excerpts:
Fern settles against the trunk securely, turning to Finn with a grimace. “Sorry I hurt you. I didn’t have much of an opening to pry that thing away from Phoebe without getting turned.” Finn sits on a thick branch above him and surveys their surroundings, watching things slowly morph. “It was an accident,” he shrugs him off and exhales deeply. “… so.” Fern sighs, eyes lowering. “So.” “Is that what you really look like?” Finn asks, hesitant. “No, glob no,” Fern coughs out a self deprecating laugh. He fidgets nervously. “I guess technically that’s my body, but I’m still glommed onto your blueprint. That was kind of like… what I’m made of.” “I thought you were made of plants?” “My vessel is — but my vessel was the sword. That’s just— you, now.” Fern holds his hand out and looks at the woody muscles and exine bones shifting under his skin as he curls and uncurls his fingers. “What you saw were the animals my dad sacrificed to summon and bind me. We’re created from strong emotions and death, dude.” - Keep Yourself Redux ch 2 animal ingredient/vessel distinction explanation
“Sorry, did I get you in trouble, kiddo?” Hunson smacks Fern on the back as they begin walking to the diner. “Lemme pay you back, how's about it? Aren’t you sick of being stuck as one of that hack’s rush jobs?” Fern tips his head back and chews his lip. “You mean you’d finish me?” “If it’s what you want. I’ve met others of his and they all complain about his shoddy slapped together work. You’ve got Finn’s brain all up in there, though, so it might not be that obvious.” Hunson’s posture stiffens. “That man makes my people look like barely sentient animals,” he spits. “Sticking demons in toasters, for shame.” Fern glances to his other nervously, watching him chat with Jake as they lag behind with purposefully paced distance. “It’d be nice to not be horse shaped,” he mutters sardonically out of the corner of a tight frown. Hunson pauses and lets out a gruff chuckle. “Is that all?” “Are you offering to remake me? I’d just like the cracks filled.” He holds his hand up. “Not to offend your work—“ “No problem-o. Not offended over here at all,” Hunson fans himself mockingly with his fingers. “Dad,” Marceline inserts herself between them, floating low to send her father a half lidded look of disapproval, “if you mess him up I’ll—“ “Honey! What do you take me for?” Abadeer holds his hands up, placating, shyster smile spread over his fangs. Finn sidles up next to Fern and taps his shoulder hesitantly. “He’s not gonna hurt you, right?” he asks with drawn up, worried brows. “No,” Fern shakes his head, “a lot of my siblings have been fixed by him. They just… usually have to, uh, pay for it.” Finn makes a face and he clarifies, “soul signatures. Deals.” “Ah.” Finn clears his throat uncomfortably. - Keep Yourself Redux ch 4 explanation on the refining and freeing of half-made/unauthorized Grass Wizard demons
“Well, Simon, cross your fingers.” Finn pats him in two heavy thumps on the back. “Why, uh. Why’s it seem like you’re gettin’ the stink eye, man?” he asks his other, head on a swivel as the hench-demons bustle around, sneering at [Fern] with distaste. “They can smell my humanity,” it shrugs. “And I’m not one of his, so.” “Demon racism,” Jake snorts and belts out an absurd laugh. Fern sighs and stands, brushing itself off. “Come on,” it pauses and turns to Finn to stare at him critically, “no hero junk. Being an altruist sap is illegal here and I’m not paying a fine because you can’t help yourself. No apologizing, no thank-you's, no nothing.” It leads them down the hall into the lounge- a cozy alcove set into the east facing side of the castle, bar stretching along the balcony attended by a demon with small bare breasts, bushy black mane and a ram skull, delicate chains draped over its large horns clinking as it dries martini glasses. Uncomfortable looking couches are set in a conversation pit to the right, large blue fire blazing in a chimney of steel sat in its middle. Jake whoops excitedly at the sight of a pool table, racking the balls and taunting Simon into a game. “Those probably contain punishments… just FYI,” Fern informs him. He recoils, dropping the cue ball and it titters softly as it settles at the edge of the railing to watch. “Did you spend a lot of time down here?” Finn asks, looking out over the wide crag of inner Hell. “HW made me, it was part of the process. I was convinced I was just some cursed human.” It shrugs deeply. “Couldn’t deny what I was if my body did—“ it holds its arms out and curls its talons, “this as soon as I stepped through the portal.” It nudges him lightly, nodding toward the bar tender. “Even if I’m not red.” - Keep Yourself Redux epilogue a small tidbit on the discriminatory attitude Fern and his siblings face in the 'sphere since they stick out like literal green thumbs
#she has a tiny demon form that i comm'd someone to draw since im not an anthro artist but that fell through sadly ://#adventure time#fern the human#vanlife au#keep yourself au

Hello my friend. Considering that you’re fixated on the Helsmits do you have any headcannons you’d like to yap about🎤
OH MY GOODNESS YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT CAN OF WORMS YOU'VE JUST OPENED. This is going to be SO long. Know if my dominant hand wasn't in a brace I would have drawings for everything just for this but alas!! 😔 I cannot draw right now.
That being said!! I do have a whole canvas of doodles from before I hurt my hand that I can pull from! Including fullbody designs for Welsknight and both Helsknight designs! (Yes, I said both!) But it is just a lot of Evil X doodles for the most part lmao (but I don't think any of them actually fit this somehow acK)
ACTUALLY BEFORE I GET STARTED!! IMPORTANT NOTE! I got into Hermitcraft via Grian in s6! I have watched bits and pieces of earlier seasons (mainly for Evil X and WormMan) but never the full season! When I fell out of hermitcraft initially it was early season 9 and I am slowly making progress! I am still in early-mid season 9 though, and never got pulled into the life series so I know there is a LOT I am missing 😭 please forgive me for that. It's been years since I've watched s6 and S7, and I JUST got pulled back in and watched Xisuma's s8. ..I also do not have the time or the patience to watch streams-
I am working with what I've got! And at the moment that is a heavy focus and fixation on Evil Xisuma, Helsknight and WormMan! (With NPG and playing around with some ideas for BadTimes! But I haven't gotten very far for him yet-) I do not promise perfect understanding! And honestly? They have been hit with the oc-beam at this point but I mean?? Hasn't everyone's takes on these guys?? /hj
AND NOW WE GET STARTED! Where do I even start... Well, I did mention Hels and his several designs so I suppose that's as good a place as any!! Might go.. Hels, Ex, NPG, WM? (Actually I'll just keep it to Hels and Evil X for now! This has taken so long and that way I'll at least get it out there LMAO)
(mid-ramble backtrack: a small bit of context I've realized I forgot! Hels does exist seperately from Wels! He has his own body, just like the other Helsmits! (Also my take on Evil X is not technically a Helsmit OR a Hermitclone, he's X's brother! But the Helsmits welcome Ex in anyway. He fits in well enough!) I think the best explanation I have right about now is that its.. a parallel server/universe of sorts? It's not quite right, but it's the best I've got.
And! (For a currently undecided reason, this is all very WIP) The Helsmits cannot travel over into Hermitcraft, which is why Hels needed the Wels clone to appear on HC the first place! Using the clone as a vessel allows Hels to jump between Hermitcraft (the vessel's "home world") and The Hels (his own home world), giving him an advantage over most of the others. Even if it comes with a cost he.. really should've seen coming.)
That feels like as good a transition as any! Why don't we continue on to:
HELSKNIGHT
(little thing! He/her Hels rubbed off on me a lot so 😔 mostly he/him with a touch of she/her Helsknight!!)
As much as I love human Wels, I'm an absolute sucker for turning him and Hels into dragons. (I had a fantasy au I made with friends on Doomcraft where I did just that!) Though I also was fighting manticore, it was fun.. and then I had a thought!
"Why don't I keep Hels more like your typical scaley, fire breathing european dragon, even give him a sharp spade on his tail, and play around with Wels' design? Give him some lion influence? I think that fits!"
So we have scaled, scrappy Hels, and furred, almost regal(?) Wels!
Only. If you're inhabiting a clone, even a clone of a sort of.. alternate you; you don't entirely look like yourself anymore. Do you?

(his horns aren't out because I like the idea that they can "recede"! Makes it easier to put on a helmet if your horns aren't in the way! (...also I had no idea how his horns looked at the time...) )

Yes. Hels CAN jump between Hermitcraft and The Hels freely now. Something next to none (we'll talk about this later) of her peers can do, but she's lost her scales. Her horns. Sure, he can always stop using the vessel, but what are the odds of him ever getting his hands on something like this again? He can't risk that. So he finds ways to cope. To feel more like himself again and less like Wels. He coats his fur in charcoal, a color far closer to his deep gunmetal scales than this pure fur. The smell reminds him of his burning hair when this body doesn't allow for that. While the soft fur is wrong compared to his sharp scales, he'll deal with it. If it gives her this advantage she'll almost certainly never get again? He'll deal with it.
(I realized after doing all of this that my Hels is incredibly trans coded, complete with (albeit non-gender related) body dysphoria. My poor baby..)
At the end of the day, Ex helps her out a LOT with this. I'll get into that more in their section!!
Speaking of which! Why don't we move on to:
EVIL XISUMA
My boy!! I try to use they/them for Ex, but it's ended up more they/them with a bit of he/him
So! Evil X is NOT a Hels variant of Xisuma! Ex and X are twins! Ex is the younger of the two, and their time in the void (banned) has certainly done a number on them, so they behave younger than they actually are. It's hard to learn/remember how to act around others when you're isolated for so long, huh?
Evil X (Who from here on will be referred to as Ex or Exiona! I can't remember where I first saw that name for Ex, but it stuck with me and I LOVE it. I wish I could give proper credit acK) and Xisuma used to be identical twins! Well, technically they still are but they certainly don't look identical.
However! I'll get into that in a moment! Let's first start earlier on!! Exiona and Xisuma are Voidwalkers! Typical headcanon/fanon stuff, right? From The End in some way or another, having a natural affinity for dealing with code and/or becoming admins, need their helmets to filter the air, so on and so forth.
Xisuma was great with code, fantastic even! He went on to become the admin of Hermitcraft eventually and takes care of his players and ensuring everyone world hops safely and everything! Xisuma is very good with code.
Exiona on the other hand, yes, he's good with code, but nowhere near as good as their brother. Where Ex REALLY excels is glitches. For better or worse, Ex is fantastic when it comes to working with glitches in the code. Using them, exploiting them, creating them. Though them simply being around has an unfortunate habit of making some bits of code unstable, especially early on. I can imagine it tearing a bit of a rift between the Voidwalker twins. Maybe they were young, shouting things they didn't mean. But who knows, I'm not really sure how their younger years went just yet!
At some point, Jeff the Minion got into Ex's head. And perhaps The Dreamer in another! (Evil's Fault my beloved.) And Exiona started going after Hermitcraft proper. Maybe originally it was an attempt to get attention from his older brother, someone he looked up to. A jealous act that went too far and kept going thanks to a certain Nightmare.
When Xisuma bans Ex, he's under the assumption that they'll be sent to the Hub! Or perhaps even a private world? X has absolutely NO idea that Exiona is being sent to The Void. If he knew, he never would've banned them. But it's too late for that now, and he has no idea.
Ex and Xisuma used to be identical. But Ex's time in the more suffocating parts of The Void took it's toll on him. Their once dark brown hair has started to grow in grey from the stress on their body, (leaving them with salt and pepper-y hair! They bleach/dye it all to be the same light color.) all the time floating in the void has left him weak, he is nowhere near as strong as he used to be, and they're quite frail, in fact.
Ex and Xisuma have a sort of exoskeleton mobility aid for their legs! The End has lower gravity than The Overworld, so it was a difficult adjustment at first. They had them made to help them slowly get used to the overworld's stronger gravity. Xisuma no longer needs his, but Ex practically relies on theirs thanks to The Void. Ex's black visor plays another role aside from being a style choice. Light. Light and color would be so overwhelming after floating in Nothing for so long. The darkened visor could not only severely limit the amount of light coming in, but it might make all the vibrant colors more manageable as well! It's possible the helmet could also help dull sound, as well. They are very easily overstimulated now, but their helmet helps a LOT.
Now! I mentioned earlier that Ex helps Hels a lot, right? This actually has to do with Ex's ability to control and create glitches! I like the idea that Ex found a way to glitch their own code to create "disguises" of sorts! Basically, they can go into the code and change their skin for lack of better terms! Doing so, however, takes a lot of time and takes a lot out of him. But, if they can do it on themselves.. why not someone else?
So they, if they have the energy and are given the time, can alter the appearance of others by exploiting glitches they can create in code! Such as, allowing Hels to look like herself from before the clone again! The only issue with this is that, because it's using glitches, it's unstable. It can come undone at a moment's notice, and then has to be done all over again. It's why Exiona doesn't really disguise themself all the time (outside of the time and energy need), because it's too unreliable for a lot of the things they do. But if it's to help a friend get back a sense of control over their (not quite) own body? They may have taken to calling themselves "Evil Xisuma", but they still have a heart.
#this took me SO LONG i am so sorry. This has been in the works for DAYSSS. God Atsushi rant.
I'm in my god Atsushi era and have a lot to say abt it.
Ok so duh we all know Arahabaki (Chuuya) is a god. So we know that 'gods' exist in the bsd world. But like Byakko IS a god, right? Right?? SO SO TECHNICALLY Atsushi could also have a god for an 'ability'. And we know nothing of Atsushi's life before the orphanage or his parents. Sooooo I kind of have free reign with this theory. And maybe (like other AU's which I may or may not have stolen this base idea from) god's pick their 'vessel' or their human body and tend to co-exist in it once they find the one they want. Atsushi could have been picked by Byakko but with Chuuya, Arahabaki was more forced into his body with the experiment (if that makes sense) instead.
And I love the theories that Ara (Im putting this instead of Arahabaki now bcz its so bloody long) talks to Chuuya in his mind and is sentient as he is a whole 'other being'. So Byakko could also talk to Atsushi as an 'other being' but bcz of Atsushi's hatred towards both himself and his 'ability', she never did. But when Atsushi accepts his ability in DA Byakko is able to talk to Atsushi and explains all this to him (and more yada yada) but bcz Ara was FORCED into Chuuya's body, he just doesn't want to explain or talk to Chuuya out of hatred for the humans (N) who trapped him in Chuuya.
And I have so much more to say abt this HOWEVER I am making it into a fanfiction and would hate to spoil the plot (this isnt a spoiler bcz it's literally the BASE of the whole story). Also this is a Atsushi get's chosen for the ADA member who goes to the PM au!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no idea if I want to make the ship chuuatsu bcz I am a sucker for rarepairs and when ur a god time doesnt matter so 4 years isn't shit. But I loveeee sskk and kinda want that ship. But I don't want both bcz I want one of them to be besties, so if I do chuuatsu I want sskk to be besties but if I do sskk I want chuuatsu to be besties. But yeah I might put it in a wheel and decide or just see how the story goes.
Btw if u want to read the story my ao3 is 2waesabii2 (It's not out yet but I'm thinking of calling it something with the word 'god's' in it so we'll see abt the name.)

omg i love the bnha au!
if neha were able to take afo quirk, would that corrupt her bc of the quirks origins? itd be interesting to see team e-scopes original plans go from anti-hero to full on insanity..

So to start off with because of the whole being created just to use as a tool to improve other's quirks, Neha's main emotion is apathy. In fact, it's only because of Izzy and Eva that she even learned to care about things or experience other emotions. So while she does have emotions, it's harder for her to feel them because she was trained taught to literally not care and just follow orders. This is important. Of course, she can still act.
So, she and Izzy go after AFO when he's been severely weakened after his fight with All Might which is when she takes his quirk, alters it ever so slightly because she's not interested in the whole 'gotta catch em all' deal with the quirks and fuses it with her own. She can't make anymore changes to it after that because that would require giving someone else the AFO quirk and taking it back off them. This causes AFO's death since he no longer has his quirks to sustain him.
So, yeaaaahhh, she does not have a good time the first couple of months after the AFO transfer. At all. While she can hold more quirks now, her body is NOT made to tolerate the amount that AFO transferred across.
Unlike AFO, she can actually delete them in a sense but that takes far too much energy and she can't physically keep up with it which does leave her bed bound, doing the literal bare minimum of life to survive knowing that the only reason she is alive is because of one of the quirks destroying her. It's Eva who gets the idea to transfer the remaining quirks to the quirkless and only keep what's necessary for survival.
They use this to start building support and uniting people against the hero commission. She uses the quirk to help Eri, first by just taking it when it was being used on Eva and then altering it to make it less volatile and giving it back to her when they convince her it's not a curse.
As for the personality being affected, her usual apathy turns more sadistic and she develops a bit of a kleptomania streak. But because she doesn't really care about quirks, it becomes more about information. She 'steals' and collects as much information as she can. There's also the side effect of her becoming more possessive, once again not directed towards quirks but things she's not apathetic about like her thirst for knowledge and the very few people she cares about. Does she become a mild stalker for a bit? Mayhaps. It's an unhinged time for the group.
AFO is not happy about any of this. He had spent so much time prepping and grooming Tomura to be the perfect vessel, had made contingency plans after contingency plans only for it to all fail because of some random teen girls. Because Neha can't hold the same resentment Tomura does, she's basically useless for stealing back OFA. So, his goal is to take over her body and give AFO over to Tomura just like he had originally planned before disposing of the body to ensure it doesn't happen again.
But, because she doesn't actually have any ties to AFO (minus blood but I digress since he can change it so technically it's the quirk?) and was literally trained to not care it's a lot harder for him to take control. A random old man in her head trying to goad her into getting angry all the time? She'd very much rather ignore it. Neha ends up accidentally vaulting AFO for a bit due to willpower and her hope for the future that everything will work out thanks to Eva and Izzy. But that doesn't mean that she doesn't hear whispers in her sleep causing a growing sleep deprivation...
She does end up getting a rampage as a treat against the Meta Liberation Army. Buuuut, it's not technically hers because AFO uses her sleep deprivation and new possessive streak to his advantage to finally take over. It's during this fight when she's officially able to destroy AFO's vestige from the original quirk. If you want to add extra angst points, Alejandro was there investigating, gets seriously hurt and that's when she snaps out of it because what the hell is he making her body do. Then he gets kidnapped by Izzy which kind of paints them as worse villains for kidnapping a hero student.
This has consequences as now All Might and those in the know of OFA have all witnessed someone use multiple quirks after AFO's death. Chef is in the know, Chris is not.
However, the real problem comes with Tomura escaping from prison and a certain doctor finding him. As well as the duplicate afo quirk which reacts oddly to his now 'faulty' quirk...

I drew. a lot for this. Also heads up for non RE mutuals this is going to be. confusing for you. I'm going to do my best to annotate and provide context but you are in for a wild ride.
Anyway long ass lore post for how Lisa and Robbie go from fighting to working together in this AU.
In the RE8 cannon all of the Dimitrescu daughters are made at the same time but for the sake of ✨the situations✨ I am going to change that. Lisa lived the longest as a human before being assimilated into the mold with a Cadou (infecting extension of the Megamycite). Technically her 'sisters' are older than her, as they were assimilated a while ago. Lisa has been a member of house Dimitrescu for about 2 years now. This puts her in this. Weird middle child zone. She wants to make her 'family' proud but she's also aware that what makes them proud isn't really the most achievable thing in the world (expecially with Bela to contend with. Older sibling overachiever to the maximum). She's got a certain degree of distance from them and sometimes wonders if she wasn't better off before all of this. Her memories are fuzzy but still there for the most part. She cant remember faces or names but she remembers feelings and situations. She doesen't remember families being like this (she wants OUT).
Chasing prey brought in is fairly standard for her. It's some of the only entertainment she gets. So when she catches Robbie exploring around the castle she has no idea that he's special in any way. He's just some new guy she gets to mess with before eating and DAMN he's FUN. If she didn't know any better she could almost think that he has experience being chased around (he does. he very much so does. all of RE7's worth). What she ALSO doesn't know is that Mother Miranda (big bad. Different from Lady Dimitrescu, who she refers to as 'mother') is planning on using Gabe (who is replacing baby Rose in this) to try and resurrect her dead kid with a 'perfect vessel' and this requires. uh. disassembly (in the base RE8 gameplay the reason Ethan goes to each house is because uhhhhhhhh his infant daughter has been dismembered and stored in jars and he needs to collect them so he can put her back together.... yeah). Robbie intervenes before this can get going and is instead going house to house because if he wants to get out of this stupid fuckass villiage he needs to collect the key components to unlock the gate keeping him in here (i need him to have a reason. to kill everyone. its important to me ok).

When Lisa finds out this random, but fun guy, she's been chasing who she thought was JUST SOME NORMAL GUY killed one of her sisters she mentally goes 'Oh. OH. THERES A CHANCE FOR ME TO GET OUT OF HERE'. That in conjunction with discovering Mother Miranda is planning on FULLY DISMEMBERING A CHILD she uh. Makes some decisions.
What you have to understand about her plans of matricide is that neither Lady Dimitrescu or her sisters can actually really fully die. Sure, their bodies are gone, but their consciousness is stored in the hive mind and they can reform later after gathering their strength. If she has to put her kinda shitty found family in time out for the sake of getting herself out of here + keeping her newly revived conscience clean she's absolutely going to do it.
(fuckin. backgrounds. dialogue. fuck. why can things not just take place inside of the void. DUKE MY BELOVED WE LOVE AND RESPECT DUKE IN THIS HOUSE HES A REAL ONE fuck now I got it in my head that he keeps trying to play matchmaker for them and i need to. go draw that because its too funny not to.)
Lisas plan involves this lab I had her mention in the comic above. It's where Robbie needs to go to synthesize more poison for the dagger of deaths flowers, and SUPPOSEDLY where a medicine that might allow her to go outside again might be (enemies of Lisas type become SIGNIFICANTLY weaker in the cold. She could try to bundle up but its still really not a good idea). She would love to go there herself, but it's in an area of the castle thats exposed to the cold of the outdoors.
The Two of them make a fairly decent team and Lisa finds herself having a LOT more fun hunting with someone else than she does on her own. They balance each other out pretty well; Robbie works primarily with guns so he can watch Lisas back while she's up close wrecking any grunts they run into. It's also pretty helpful having someone who can turn into a swarm of flies for puzzle solving purposes.
After all this Robbies trust for her increases SIGNIFICANTLY. He's still not really sure about her, but she's moved out of the 'active threat' classification into the 'kinda helpful' zone.

Lisa's plan has three ways it could go:
They all fail miserably and get sent to mental and physical time out in the megamycite.
They win and get to go free but either the medicine isn't there or it doesen't work. In which case she's just planning on getting as many coats as possible and Try-or-Die-ing it.
The medicine is there and she actually gets to roam free
Luckily for her, the medicine IS there, it DOES work, and Robbies sense of honor / noticing her usefulness (its hard to wage a one man war on an entire community of mutants ok you cant blame him for appreciating having some ACTUAL HELP for once) all align for the best possible scenario.

The cold does still affect her; her healing isn't as quick as it usually is and her increased strength / speed is a bit reduced, but she can go!! outside!!
She decided to stick with Robbie in getting out of the village as a whole. She doesen't really know what the world outside is like but anything has to be better than here (plus if she stays here she's probably getting shoved into the Megamycite by Mother Miranda PERMENANTLY and that just. wont do).
Also yes Lisa being with Robbie for the rest of his adventures means that she is there for Heisenbergs 'proposal'. She uh. Does not like that much.

this all made. more sense in my head I hope it at least makes a little sense out loud.

I'm SOO hooked on your scarian squared AU
but besides the scrimblos themselves, I want to know more about the world logic - like how it functions, what grian/xisuma as a server admins might be capable of, how third!gri and secret!scar managed to wriggle their way to HC. how interactable is the games code....
I like when MC fanfic acknowledges game mechanics like inventories and the chat in various different ways. I need to know all your headcanons!!
Ok! Ok! [cracks knuckles] Let's get into it, my sick and twisted Minecraft lore.
THERE BE LORE AHEAD!!!
---
⭐ This little block universe exists in two parts:
A physical-plane (all the physical things you can touch and feel) and a code-plane, colloquially "the code" (the supportive structures that guide and direct the happenings on the physical-plane; in-universe it's often visualized as an network of threads spanning, connecting, and crossing infinitely).
Worlds are aggregations of physical and code-planes close together to form "reality", sort of like a zipper. Servers are the shared form of these worlds.
They are oriented in space in loosely grouped "thread-lines" with related worlds (being made by the same creator, for the same series, etc) organized from first to latest. This means that it's easier to travel vertically through worlds (within the same threads/series) than horizontally (between two different threads/series).
---
⭐ Players are a type of being that exist both in the physical-plane and code-plane of the universe. They are created when a being that exists solely on the physical plane "cracks" (basically the being dies and in their place something emerges in the code-plane).
Players are defined by their ability to alter the code-plane (i.e. coding); importantly condensing particles from the wider universe into worlds. This skill is mostly instinctive but can be developed further with research and practice.
How and what this looks like varies widely between players and is often flavored depending on favorite hobbies and motifs.
For example, to Xisuma, altering the code is analogous to actual computer coding. To Grian, it's similar to weaving or untangling a particularly confusing ball of yarn. To Scott, it's a set of harmonies between notes on an infinite song, and to Doc, it's a series of ever-blinking switches and dials. There's a lot of possibilities!
---
⭐ Players TECHNICALLY exist only on the code-plane as sort of a metaphysical blob of sentience. However, their innate coding ability allows them to exist in worlds on the physical-plane. They do this by splitting off pieces called "clippings" or "fragments" (term varies by region and upbringing and honestly how nice you wanna be about it), from their metaphysical self to act as vessels for physical experience.
These clippings can be modeled physically and mentally to fit a purpose either as 1-to-1 vessels to hang out with others or as characters for roleplay/storytelling purposes (that's right, I've made every smp canon all at the same time).
Through their clippings, players can look like whatever they want but generally, tend to make themselves look like what they did in their old pre-player lives as that is at least familiar.
In addition, players can choose how much "sentience" each clipping receives (used in-universe in reference to a player's awareness of what they are, alongside associated memories of their existence outside a set world). Usually roleplay-based servers remove or alter memories for immersion purposes which is consensual on the player's end (and not so much on the clipping's end just for some added drama there).
(Overall separation between player and clipping is really muddy, which leads to lots of complications.)
Using Grian as an example, his Hermitcraft clipping is an almost 1-to-1 of his player self and is fully self-aware of his existence as a clipping (though fully accepting is a whole another thing). His Life Series clipping(s), however, are meant for roleplay and have been altered (clumsily) to be completely unaware of any of the more metaphysical parts of their existence. There is always a degree of separation present between the player and their clippings (and clippings are nebulously their own people), but how much really does vary by situation.
---
⭐ As far as server admins go, they aren't really that more powerful or capable than the average player. Admin is just the title for players who maintain server spaces for others. This can go as little as just being the guy that tidies up the world's loose bits every once in a while to basically being the "lifeguard" in the world's most immersive LARP session.
Typically, players will enter contracts with admins (this is especially true on roleplay servers), giving away some code agency in exchange for the admin's care. This can be as light as giving admins permission to teleport players during emergencies to full control on memories, pain limits, available foods, etc.
Any player can become an admin, the only barrier for entry is wanting to learn how to do it. That being said, keeping a server safety, operational, and fun does require a good grasp of coding (which can either be learned through study or intrinsic skill).
---
⭐ About Third and Secret's survival: I can't say much since that is highly plot relevant to the fic I want to write someday.
But as a teaser: Grian is a very instinctive coder and learned to do it without a lot of technical instructions, something he failed to account for in his own clipping.
---
⭐ Some misc. lore tidbits that I can't really fit but I think you'd enjoy!
⭐ In the process of "cracking", newborn players consume the worlds they were born in for their universe particles as part of their development. Players then create new worlds to play and interact on, which, when abandoned, become cradles for the next generation of players to be born in. This serves a dual purpose of killing off the physical connection to the player's old life and as a way to keep the universe's components cycling through states of stagnation (worlds) and free flow (universe particles). ⭐ Clippings often don't look exactly like each other. Every version of a player is always a little different because, to them, physical composition is very much something you can just change on a whim. Of course, this does account for lots of cases of unsettling doppelgangers. ⭐ A common rite of passage for young players is the creation of your first physical-plane "skin". It involves a lot of deliberation on who and what you want to be. There are many player-developed resources dedicated specifically to customizing yourself. Hybrid forms are extremely popular. ⭐ Avian-form bodies are considered a complex form to pull off, requiring some sort of innate talent or study into anatomical AND spatial "tuning" on the physical plane (as powered flight is a hard thing to balance correctly). Flying for most players is often short-cut by using the wind-magic found in elytra cores to stabilize movement in air. So making yourself a bird is seen as a hard but rewarding way to earn flight (and it's def not for everyone). ⭐ Modding and data packs are commodities; often, they are pre-packaged code-plane alterations or guidelines that let other players experience this cool thing you've just made. Some servers specialize in producing these, along with other specialty goods like furniture, ingredients, games. ⭐ Speaking of food, there are different types! Craft-food is built purely from the code-plane. It is easy to make from a template, accessible, nutritionally balanced, but not that tasty. Cooked-food is made from the physical-plane, which is more tasty and overall better for mental health, but that, like irl cooking, takes skill. Complex dishes are difficult to replicate from code-plane only, but not impossible (Xisuma has tried, Impulse has succeeded). ⭐ All players claim to have heard a "song" during their birth into playerhood, which guided them instinctively on what to do next. It starts off as a tune, then clarifies over time, as the player grows, into words. It's referred to in-universe as "the cradle song" and is often used as a measure of how far along a player has grown (since the age that a being initially "cracks" is not a set variable). We know it as the end poem :)
#squawk talk#and YES hc grian (and also the others on hc) definitely acts more fine about his general existence than he feels#player and clipping relationships are intentionally kinda complicated and awful because i think its fun#in the process of making the lore im realizing how eldritch this whole things leans just in general#just a bit of horror for the blockmen#i use this lore for two aus and an oc story btw i just love putting them in complicated situations from birth#i have FIXED the typos wonderful#schrodinger's scarian au

Behind The Horizon
rating: T | cw: none | wc: 751 | tags: Annihilation AU, established relationship, vaguely post-canon | prompt: Love is being terrified but not letting that stop you from taking a leap
written for @steddielovemonth, the Annihilation au was inspired by @flowercrowngods's idea
The horizon was on fire.
That was Eddie's first knee-jerk reaction every time he looked outside and his eyes landed on the rippling screen of kaleidoscopic colours. Maybe it was because of the faint wisps curling up and disappearing to the sky like what a smoking fire would do. Maybe it was the way how both ends of the fortification expanded across the landscape with no end on either side.
Fortification. It wasn't technically the right word to call the Shimmer but Eddie kept referring to it as such. It felt more appropriate with how it had appeared out of the blue, completely surrounding the corpse of Hawkins as it had slowly expanded over the years. (Owens said it would be probably two years before the zone reached Indianapolis) Fires that burn and grow infinitely would have to be protecting something on the other side, inside the heart of its newfound castle.
Something that had made Steve into a comatose vessel several floors below Eddie's feet.
"I hope you have made your decision already, Mr. Munson." Owens said, suddenly appearing at his side.
Eddie stared a minute longer at the Shimmer until he could see the multicoloured gleams behind his eyelids. He sucked in a dry breath before he responded, "The deadline's still the same?"
"Fourteen hours from now."
He could still run away. He could still take whatever government-mandated brainwashing machine so he could forget about the new horrors of whatever the Upside Down was brewing next. If it was even the Upside Down. The Shimmer was too beautiful and entrancing to come from a hell dimension of monsters.
But he would end up returning to the same position he was in several days ago, wondering where Steve went and when he would come back home.
Eddie sighed, "Okay."
-
He was allowed to visit Steve one last time, three and half hours before the expedition. Eddie mechanically passed through the hissing plastic doors of the quarantine room, but he was ready to weep by the time he finally reached Steve's side. He wasn't allowed to touch Steve in case his unknown illness was skin-transferred, but Eddie never followed the rules. Besides, he was going to walk into an unknown area with several strangers and old faces that might last months.
Gently, he clasped his hand around Steve's. He almost expected his fiance to tighten the hold but Steve's fingers remained unmoved.
This finally broke Eddie.
He fell to his knees, keeping his hand on Steve as Eddie buried his face into the thin itchy blankets next to Steve's thigh. Quiet sobs racked his body. When a few escaped from his lips, it felt more like he was about to throw up.
"What am I doing?" Eddie pleaded, more to himself than to the silence in the room. He wished Steve could say something. That this would be the moment from the romance dramas where the love interest would open their eyes and whisper something corny like, "How about a kiss to make me feel better?"
Steve's eyes never opened.
But he was still breathing. Eddie watched his chest's rise and fall through teary eyes. He listened carefully to the faint hissing of oxygen and the heart monitor's monotonous beeping as if either machine would reveal their secrets to waking Steve up. His eyes wandered back to the other man's face, which had already paled and sunken more than the last time Eddie had seen him. Awful as he looked, it was better than coughing up bouts of blood after one sip of water.
Eddie doesn't care about his appearance. He always loved Steve, no matter how sick and greasy he looked. He doesn't want to forget his face if he were to face his overdue death on the other side of the fortification.
"When I come back, you better be awake." Eddie whispered as he started to kiss Steve's fingers, lingering on each one of the joints so he could taste and feel the faint pulse under the cold skin.
-
It was early in the morning when the expedition set out.
Eddie was already drenched with sweat before they started trekking to the Shimmer. Now that he was this close than ever, he could hear the growing thrumming of the fortification. Every inch of his body was screaming for him to turn around and run.
But he was too close.
As Eddie stepped through the iridescent barrier, it felt more like he had leapt off the edge into the abyss.

For the crossover streak: a Hollow Knight AU (not a universe travel one, just a different reality).
Keith would be one of the countless Vessels born of God and Void, and replace the Knight as the protagonist because they are technically interchangeable. Keith would start as a nameless, empty "it" with a drive to complete its mission; only after travelling and meeting other bugs, it would pick up a name, being a "he", and having ideas firstly instilled, then start developing his trademark personality, opinions, and some feelings.
Jesper would be the last remaining member of the Moth tribe besides the Seer; like her, he would be willing to assist Keith in collecting essence, and he would be opposed to the Radiance's infection and what it has done to Hallownest. Most importantly, however, he would do what nobody else does: he wouldn't just help Keith, he would follow him around.
The arrangement is risky: Keith is a creature of shadow; and Jesper is a creature of light close to the Radiance's, and not particularly versed in battle; but Jesper can use this to their advantage to stun enemies through his light, his resemblance, and sapping essence from them to pass it to Keith. He would also help him patch up after battle, or, when things go particularly wrong, guide his body back to his shade.
Dave would be there as a higher being from outside Hallownest, with knowledge no one else has. Kevin and Lenny, due to their being guards from Stromcloak Holds, might be mantis warriors (the Mantis Tribe being technically part of Hallownest but mostly independent). Ra'Thargo, being originally from the Dominion, might be a Weaver from Deepnest. Maximus would be one of the few not infected sentries in the City of Tears, he was too busy following protocol to fall to the infection. Count Paznic might be with the Grimm Troupe because of the vampire aesthetics. Both Dragonborns would be farting around in the Colosseum of Fools, because of course they would be.
The first two endings would be unavailable, because Keith would not be hollow enough to replace the Hollow Knight, and the same goes for the Delicate Flower one because we don't know its implications yet; but the Dream No More and the Embrace The Void endings would be viable. In either case, Keith would return to being part of the Void, but Jesper couldn't bear losing the vessel he's grown so attached to: he would ask Dave and all the surviving friendly NPCs for help to restore him.
Wouldn't be that complicated, all they need is a husk Keith's shade could inhabit. They might collect one of the escaped vessels' remains, fix them up, and add something to make it be able to speak; Jesper would get close to the Abyss, or the Void Tendrils lashing out from the Godmaster's form, and call to him with his own light. What is left of Keith's acquired individuality would respond, and willingly come back to him in the form of a shade.
And then cosy bug fluff would follow, a more meaningful relationship would form, they might leave Hallownest if things have got too weird, and Keith would eventually be able to have romantic feelings the more he develops into a normal living creature.
Okay as someone who is not familiar with Hollow Knight's story at all this is really adorable. And also gives me insight into the game as well. There is a kind of sad vibe to it, thinking Keith not being 'whole' but slowly developing pieces of himself.
This is cool. Posted!!

alright so with how many possibilities deltarune has opened I want to change my dust grave aus lore again.
1. it's NOT about Noelle Holliday.
2. it's definitely a snow grave route don't get me wrong but that's not the main focus.
3. similar to dusttale it's about loss and grief and excessive obsession about recreating the past but never being fully able to move on.
4. sans is sus. it's still left to interpretation of he's classic or a dust variant or if he's even sans at all. (unlike deltarune you can only meet this guy in the dark world. he sells you items.)
5. papyrus is canonically dead in this au. he has a gravestone with a badass guitar on it. it's unclear if it belonged to him or if it's put there as a tribute to his coolness.
6. Kris is NOT tied to the player. it's as if someone sabotaged the soul linking process from the get go a snipped the string befit could even make a vessel for itself.
7. Asriel and dess are dead sometimes and NOT at other times though conveniently no one questions it or is even aware. they simply slip in and out of a trance with both realities coexisting as if someone tried to forcefully mash them together. Asriel himself is more akin to an echo flower. he's not really thinking or processing anything. and any person that comes into contact with him gets implanted with false memories and also starts acting "OFF". the phenomenon moves throughout the city with most being unable to notice because once the ghost of the past leaves their vicinity they go back to doing what they were gonna do. when someone is talking about them as if they're alive they're probably nearby.
8. magic is treated as a joke and naive make-believe. only in fairytales. because the moment you use it you trade your memories of it's use. so no one will ever remember what they did after the spell is done.
9. the Holiday's are hiding something and the church makes sure to keep the concept of magic and dark words and prophecies as a necessary lie in order to prevent the world (a literally living lie and ghost town) from fading away.
10. human kind is nearly extinct. they fought themselves into their destruction.
11. anyone who realizes they're already dead will fade into obscurity. it's unclear how many more ghosts of the past there are in total.
12. it is also unclear if the DEAD people are actually dead or if someone simply made it that way and they're the husks of the future.
13. dark world characters cannot exist in the light world but there have been rumors of there being beings powerful enough to personally sustain them without the need of a dark fountain. this ability is extremely limited and can only be done if you're around ghosts of the past or husks of the future. because it's the only place where the rules... are kinda bendy.
14. ghost of the past are completely unaware of their predicament.
15. husks of the future are aware but do not have the means to speak it. you can technically make contact with them in reflections or brief radio signals.
16. the PLAYER is a husk of the future themself. they've been erased from the word before they could even come into being.
17. it's unknown if gaster had anything to do with this or if this is the result of the anomaly.
18. it is implied that something went awry in the WORLDLINE and fun value address the player was meant to be directed to.
19. characters can canonically be bugged and have messed diologue. that's a sign of them being a ghost of the past.
20. did someone revive them? or did someone erase them? we're they a monster? or a darkner. hard to tell. it certainly wasn't you that's for sure.
22. it is implied that you aren't the first anomaly to step in this world. that not just one but MANY gods and angels had come before you. clearly some tried to fix each others mess and some had tried to make it worse
23. and you're left with all that remains of that world. how intriguing. you say it reminds you of an old used tattered doll. that it might be faded and broken but you can tell someone used to care about it.
24. you're unsure if you have any right to fix those torn ribbons or get it new buttons. you're also unsure if it's cruel to leave the world untouched.
25. it's been through a rough path. just like you.
26. you think You've changed. you think you're ready to give that doll to someone else.

Hi everyone, I kind of want to talk a bit more about my Whatifverse. I recently remembered that for a time, I witnessed a growing frustration with the number of Sans centric multiverses. I particularly never saw the problem. I mean, Whatif is one. But it made me wondered and even now, I still wonder. What if other characters of Undertale and Deltarune had their own "System"?
If we think that the Gardians and their partners are a Sans centric system. Meant to judge and gard the Multiverse they inhabit. I wonder what other characters could have?
So here's are some idea. They won't dwell on it to much. It's more on how the hierarchy could look like. (FYI I am not to much on Deltarune as their own Fandom. I did the same with Undertale but in reverse. I found the game before I found the Fandom.)
Humans: I wanna place the humans together because I think they serve a similar role. The one closest to the player's will. I mean even Chara, who is unreachable in many ways. Can have their name change directly by our actions. And is often time the actual narrator. I mean, canonically, they are, but you know, potayto pothato. I think you will have 3 main archetypes. The Narrator (Chara), the Avatar (Frisk), and the Human (Kris). Also, I think other than most systems. They might be the focus of an au, but they wouldn't have a council or something based on only them. They have archetypes, but that's all. I mean, we play the games mostly for the interaction right! So it would make sense that like Core Frisk, they mainly interact with other systems. You could say they are in charge of keeping the relationship between player/system/game and so on link.
Narrators would be humans or avatars who died with a determination to keep going. It doesn't need to be the red soul, but their unwillingness to let go is what turns them into such. Not enough to fully come back like Frisk would. But enough to follow the ones that hold onto the timeline the hardest.
Humans are actually pretty run of the mill in general. They have powerful magic stabilies in a sense? I like to think that the different souls are different schools of magic. And as you grow up, you don't have the mushy brain of a child that can learn everything, so you focus on one. A human adult with a red soul is extremely rare since you need to master all of the other forms. I guess Marine from The First Human and Aliza from Horrortale (ish) would be part of that group because we view them primarily through a comic format. Though Aliza does have some game content. But it's more of a sometimes. Thank you, Glitchtale, for the idea of different souls having specific magic ideas.
Now for the Avatars. They are in short artificial humans. They are first a vessel either created by the game or the player (thank you deltarune for the idea). Then, the players will morphed into the soul that the avatar often carries. Normally, it's red because Undertale and Deltarune are the most common aus. But Yellow is still a game and makes Clover technically an avatar, too. So alternate can spawn from it.
((Well me that didn't want to go into to much details lol))
Undyne & Alphys: Yeah as if I would ever separate them. They will be regarded as the Tropes. For example Undynes would be shonen anime. You would have an Undyne that cooks so well that the smell makes you falter. And to beat her you must either eat all the food or cook better. Alphys would be more Shoujo anome tropes, a lot of emotional and relationship heavy drama. Probably would have one that cooks too. But instead it would be Kawaii and be way more about how aesthetical pleasing it is. A feast for the eyes, soul and stomach. But it would be more about what the food represents and the labor you put into it. Because I love Dr. Megalo au. Alphys is the villainess trope you see in Otome game but she is a force to be recking with. Undyne is the trope of the protagonist who will never give up. (I will break my/your bones until you get therapy behavior). Sans is well the only gardians name Sans. Because he is important to his au but the au is for Alphys and Undyne. He is just there to fill a spot. Frankly he doesn't even need to interact with the other gardians. I mean he can join if they need pointers. But it's like second generation in my multiverse (entirely different subject I can't spiral in yet. In short the gardians f**k up, now they need more gardians to solidify the balance no other system is happy about this.)
Toriel: I guess she could be the different ways you see motherhood. (Yeah it's going to get especially short I don't have that much ideas lol)
Asgore: Same but for fathers. I am not putting them together because they are in a divorce.
Asriel/Flowey: Could be the different ways you answer to traumatic experience.
Who else could I put hmm 🤔 🤔. Well if you have any ideas?
