Owen runs away crying.

Neha calling out to him: “It was a force of habit!”

Alejandro, who was eavesdropping on their conversation. Smiles giddily because Owen is too sad to speak to Neha, which means she would focus her attention on someone else (like Alejandro). Unfortunately for him, Neha spends the rest of the day trying to cheer Owen up and saying she didn’t mean it. The silent treatment does not last long, and Owen forgives Neha.

I love how that's the line, your mama jokes. Cause I feel like those are the kinds of jokes Owen would find funny. Imagine if he was upset about something completely different (or wasn't even upset, he just wanted to come up with a funnier response since his little buddy always has the funny one liners!) but Neha still spends the entire day thinking she just lost her closest friend and doing everything to make it up to him. Even trying to be nicer to people.

Alejandro is the one who eventually solves the whole thing - on complete accident and/or unwillingly- because he wasn't getting any attention from her at all and he can't have her changing her delightful personality, where else is he going to find someone actually enjoyable to talk to?

There was this one ask a while back about assistant fem!Noah and the costumes (I think, the ask kind of disappeared when I went to go find it so I think I accidentally deleted it? This phone is 4 years old tbh and doesn't really like to play nice with me). So here's my take on it.

As the technically resident crossdresser in the cast, she gets the counter to Chef's costumes. So whenever he wears a traditionally feminine costume, she wears a matching traditionally masculine one. And vice versa. Of course, this only happens if she's given the appropriate bribe (books, nap time in an actual comfy place).

I also think that this would give Chef the excuse to dress up more often so every episode would be him slaying in the background. He just kidnaps Neha to be his assistant instead of Chris' since he could actually use the help and her skills would be put to better use with anything other than coffee runs.

If this was part of the assistant au (Hannah Montana style lol) then she wouldn't wear a wig in the masculine ones but Alejandro still puts two and two together about Neha=Noah when she's in one of the costumes. Because he imagined Noah in something similar once and it's near identical because he has key observational skills

I feel like Eva and Jo would be either best friends or worst enemies. Maybe they even have an enemies to lovers arc where they bond over decimating the guys.

Izzy being on the same team as Mike/Mal. Maybe she holds a grudge, maybe she doesn't.

Alejandro being on the same team as a lot of people he's gotten eliminated.

Harold and Heather dynamic.

The twins being on the same team and definitely not pot stirring.

I feel like it'd be cool if one of the roti contestants knows the twins and is just really confused about why they're acting weird. Maybe even have history with one/both of them.

If anyone has any ideas for the team names- please share them!!!!! Or even any mini plot ideas. I have no clue lol and genuinely enjoy reading different ideas. If not, I'm probably still just gonna sprout more random ideas for it.

Even if they do a reunion like 5 years later or something and Neha and Mahavir swap places again just to add to the confusion. Cause then the contestants are stuck with a Noah who looks vaguely similar but is also way taller and nicer. They probably think that it's a case of the mandela effect and they just remembered it wrong.

Meanwhile Neha is sitting on the sidelines trying not to laugh.

Wow, looky here, I've got another femNoah idea. This is mainly another reason/idea on why she would be pretending to be a guy.

Tbh, this applies to all of my stuff but if anyone gets inspo from any of my ideas (like for art, fics etc) then you have my full permission to use them. Though I do want to be tagged, maybe partially credited? Idk.

Anywho, so it wasn't actually Neha who applied but her brother Mahavir. They're either fraternal twins or Irish twins (born nine months apart). Though I'm leaning more towards fraternal. But I do have two different mini 'plots' for both of them.

Irish twins

Mahavir got injured or ill just before going to the island and had to tell the people in charge of the application process that he can't make it. But, because of how close it was to the competition and how the line up had already been established, they were just like, do you know any males your age that would be willing to take your place?

Unfortunately, all of his brothers are years older than him so they can't do it. Instead, he decides to do a little trickery and replies back saying uh, yeah. I have a little... Brother... Whose only 9 and a half years younger than me called.... N-Noah. Yeah, Noah. Would that work?

Of course, he didn't tell Neha this until it's already been established that she's taking his place as a 'he' which she is so not happy about.

He totally owes her one after that shit show.

Fraternal twins

Mahavir's full name is Noah Mahavir Devi. Basically, their parents thought it would be funny to name the twins very similar names. Neha's is Neha Michal Devi. However due to a lot of confusion when they were younger, Mahavir goes by Mahavir and Neha by Neha.

In this one, after Mahavir gets injured/ill they decide to not tell any of the people from TD about it. Instead, Mahavir manages to beg convince Neha to join very much against her will. She only agreed because he brought up how she owed him after the incident.

So, Neha pretends to be her twin brother, bear in mind they are not identical. At all. They only manage to get away with it due to the bad quality of camera they used for the audition tape.

Like, he's the tallest in the family, she's the shortest. She has a more masculine facial structure, he has a more feminine one. She had longer hair, he has shorter. Basically, they're like ying and Yang?

He's more emotive whereas she's more monotone unless caught off guard. He might not be as intelligent as she is (still relatively smart) but she's nowhere near his physical abilities. They essentially divide and conquer everything they do with both of them being cunning little shits. They especially like to give people whiplash. He's tall so people think he's intimidating while he acts friendly. She's short and physically weak but will immediately give a verbal lashing to the closest person. So they tend to good cop bad cop people to get what they want.

They take turns on who's 'in charge' and who's 'supporting' based on whose skills the situation suits best. Like as president and vice president of their school.

Idk, I just feel like it could be a funny idea. I love that all of team E-scope's (+Owen) patronus are all some kind of bear in a way, especially since patronuses are linked to happy memories and emotional connections.

But, also consider-

Team E-scope all becoming anamaigus out of boredom. (It was Izzy's idea). This is mainly so they can safely venture into the forbidden forest to explore. Unfortunately, Owen doesn't know about this since he can't keep a secret for the life of him but the three do keep a look out for him when they're in their animal forms. Neha- cat. Eva- honey badger. Izzy- weasel. All three of them also get carried by him at some point- as well as DJ.

Obviously, the anamaigus form can't change but the patronus can, hence the bear theme.

I would also like to suggest that the brother who José fights with the most has a mongoose patronus :)

The Devi's being poor by choice. Like, they could be spending money left and right but all of them are super miserly. It's those spending habits (hand-me-downs, second hand, always looking for deals and bartering) that make people think they're poor. They just really, really don't like spending more money then absolutely necessary. It's because of this that Amrita is on really good terms with the goblins.

Owen just basically imprinting on the first person who wasn't mean (in the same way as everyone else at least) is so sweet though. They would totally look after each other. Maybe José says some stuff about Owen and immediately gets hexed. There's no solid proof on who done it- but José is almost certain it was her. Or Duncan/Justin says something about Neha and Owen's giving them that disappointed look.

Alejandro would also totally have an eel annimagus as well. He keeps on having to buy more wands.

Izzy being a minor Metamorphmagus

Beth as well actually.

Lindsay and Tyler's (a German shepherd) patronuses eventually swapping.

Alejandro getting accidentally dragged into one of team E-scope's adventures through detention which definitely wasn't life threatening in any way, shape, or form.

In fact, Eva, Izzy and Neha constantly finding themselves in life threatening situations and just not telling anyone. Like, it gets dealt with and no one finds out (until they do).

Courtney having a study group with some of the ravenclaws after getting fed up with those in her own house.

Emma being in ravenclaw and Kitty (eventually) in gryffindor. Neha just imprinting on Emma, and people (Alejandro) thinking they're in a relationship. They're just really good and supportive friends that just so happen to be physically affectionate when comfortable with people.

Zeke sometimes sneaking into classes to learn theory since he thinks it's super cool! He also totally helps with the Hufflepuffs' homeworks

I suppose the real question is, do they just get to go about their day to day lives at wawanakwa-hogwarts (Chris swears up and down that the name was original) enjoying their magical life, or is there some kind of underlying plot?

Harry Potter/Hogwarts AU:

Team Chris:

Neha is sorted into Ravenclaw and a Hatstall. It took the Sorting Hat 7 minutes to decide if she was a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin, but Alejandro was sorted before Neha, and she did not want to be in the same house as him. Neha disliked Alejandro the minute he opened his mouth, and Alejandro disliked her back for calling him an eel right to his face. Neha comes from a half-blood family, and her brothers also attended Hogwarts (perhaps one of them is still attending the school).

Owen is sorted into Hufflepuff and is a Muggle born wizard.

Izzy, Tyler and Eva are all sorted into Gryffindor and are all Muggle born witches and wizards.

Sierra is a Muggle born witch who was already obsessed with magic (and Cody) at a young age. I am not quite certain what House she would be sorted into, more than likely the same House as Cody.

Alejandro and Duncan (who is a half-blood wizard) are both sorted into Slytherin. The Burromuertos are an influential pure-blood family and are usually sorted into Slytherin. Alejandro tries helplessly to make Neha interact with him more so she can spend less time with her uncouth friends. José is in his last year of Hogwarts, and Alejandro can't wait for him to graduate. Spoiler alert: Guess what Alejandro's Patronus is?

Team Amazon:

Heather and Courtney are both sorted into Slytherin and are pureblood witches. While Cody, who is a Muggle, was sorted into Hufflepuff and Gwen, who is half blood witch, was sorted into Ravenclaw.

Team Victory:

All the members of Team Victory were sorted into Hufflepuff, except for Harold, who was sorted into Ravenclaw, and Leshawna, who was sorted into Gryffindor. They either come from half-blood families or are muggles.

And Chris McLean can be the headmaster of Hogwarts.

I actually really like this!

I'm gonna screw with the ages of Neha's brothers here, but imagine them all being in Hogwarts and competing over who will get her in their house.... Which means that when the ones in Slytherin find out that Alejandro caused them to lose.... Uh, yeah.

I can also totally imagine none of them sitting at their assigned tables. Maybe for the first meal but after that- utter bedlam.

And like, imagine the Devi siblings just know the passwords for all of the houses, just so they can pester each other. And prank each other.

José having a rivalry with one of the brothers over Slytherin politics. Alejandro getting hero worship because he just put José in his place and didn't get hexed???

And Sierra would totally follow Cody into Hufflepuff. Quite a show of loyalty....

Once again, another fem!Noah au

Okay, so, this is an idea I've actually had since almost the beginning, I had actually started writing it as a one shot romance ad first but then the idea kind of evolved so...

Basically, I saw all those posts/fics about the Alenoah assistant Noah looking after drama machine Alejandro so I was like, why not take it a step further and add a twist to it- a supernatural/mythological one. And more of Chris being his usual asshole self.

Then I also thought about how funny it would be if Neha/Noah not only had to look after the drama machine, but also a feral Ezekiel. Hence the idea evolving.

Now then, way back in world tour, only three people were originally aware of the existence of supernatural entities: Chris, Neha, and Alejandro. So no one else in the cast is aware or becomes aware. Except for Zeke. Though I am in split minds about Chef.

Ezekiel

In London, when Owen threw the corgis at him he got bit by one. As it turns out, that one wasn't actually a real corgi but a feral werewolf.

Now, werewolves do typically take the form of wolves, but like how some wolves were adapted into dogs, so were some werewolves.

Usually, the werewolf would undergo the transformation outside under the full moon. However, in Ezekiel's case, he was trapped in the cargo hold the entire time, not being able to transform properly. So his wolf brain is trapped in his human body.

Like in canon, feral Zeke does NOT like Chris one bit. He's also really snappy with the interns so Chris just decides to hand him off to Neha to deal with and 'train'.

Alejandro

He's from a family of sirens (it'd be genuinely funny if he was part eel or even better, a completely different type of fish and was offended by being compared to an eel of all things), hence the allure and inhuman capabilities.

So when he gets trampled on and burned by lava, he is still alive but severely wounded. He definitely feels petty towards everyone involved. Heather, Chris, the interns, some of the cast members he can remember.

To avoid lawsuits Chris just shoves him in the drama machine to survive. Obviously, the treatment is inhumane as he's essentially stuck in a small container for months on end. Neha also ends up in charge of maintenance for 'the robot'.

The worst part about it is that he has accelerated healing in the presence of saltwater and is suffering just by the lack of it. His limbs are basically paralysed and there's not much he can physically do.

Neha

She's a selkie. Now, a whole part of the folklore around selkies is beautiful women captivating men who then steal their pelts to force them to marry them (a selkie's pelt is essentially a part of their soul, to control the pelt is to control the selkie's soul and what they can and can't do). That's the reason she dresses up as 'Noah'. To try and hinder the 'allure' (which she despises) and to distance the idea of stealing her pelt. Mainly cause if anyone discovers 'Noah' is a selkie well..... male selkies have a different reputation attached to them.

Of course, this does not work out for her at all. After her elimination in island, Chris somehow gets his hands on her pelt. But instead of the whole marriage thing, he realises that it's a selkie's coat and immediately thinks- free labour.

A worker he doesn't have to pay, doesn't need to lock in a contract, can be the perfect employee and can't physically disobey him? It's so efficient!

Of course, he orders her to not look for her pelt, be quiet about the whole thing and limits what she can do to help the other two.... So she just becomes sneaky about it.

Plot

Basically they're working towards four main goals before All Stars starts up.

Helping Zeke with his werewolfness- getting him to transform, bringing his human mind back to the forefront and teaching him balance between the two.

Getting Alejandro healed up- finding access to saltwater, an appropriate diet and planning ways to get him moving all while not being able to get him out of the machine.

Finding Neha's pelt- since she can't look for it on her own. She can't even tell them about it outright, it takes a lot of not-so-subtle-hints until Alejandro catches on to what she's getting at.

Escaping before Chris finds out- made much harder by the fact that all three of them are limited in what they can currently do.

Of course, it's an Alenoah au.

This is why I totally believe that people are missing out on the Alenoah werewolf dynamic.

Neha meeting human Alejandro and just giving him the coldest glare.

Alejandro being very confused by the mixed signals. Especially since people tend to react the complete opposite way, scared or hating his wolf form but obsessing and falling over his human one.

I actually have a draft about this somewhere about a crack team E-scope witch au for world tour where there are several chapters called Eva Vs Mr eel. It probably won't be posted for a looooooong time tho.

More Lore on the Avatar AU:

Courtney is princess of the Northern Water Tribe and a waterbender later bloodbender (she is basically Princess Yue, but less sweet). And Chris is chief of the Northern Water Tribe, but Courtney is not his daughter. Instead she is Chris's niece (by marriage). Chris has never officially married nor does he have any direct heirs, because he is an confidential relationship with Chef (only Neha knows).

Courtney is not exactly happy that she has to wait to get married in order rule the Northern Water Tribe making her very impatient. For Courtney plans on removing of the tribes misogynistic law and implement new progressive ones once she is in charge.

Neha, despite her young age is a highly skilled airbender but is the only one in her family to not have airbending tattoos. She has a strong affinity with spirits and the spirit world.

There have been times when Neha is sleeping, she somehow projects her body into the spirit world. Neha is also named after the recent airbending Avatar, who courageously fought off hundreds of Fire Nation soldiers to let airbenders escape safely. And was later taken as prisoner.

Tyler, Eva, and Lindsey all grew up in Omashu, which is now a Fire Nation colony and Lindsey's family was put in charge to govern it. Eva and Tyler are both orphans (their parents died fighting off Fire Nation soldiers) who have had only each other to rely on with their older sister- younger brother dynamic. Lindsey is a nonbending chi-blocker.

Gwen is a nonbender from the Fire Nation and is an expert marksman and knifethrower. (Basically Mai).

LeShawna is a nonbender from the Earth Kingdom and the leader of The Kyoshi Warriors (yes they are still around). Most of Team Victory (plus Cody) live on Kyoshi Island minus Lindsey. Kyoshi Island has yet to be invaded by the Fire Nation, but that doesn't mean they have stopped trying.

Heather is a firebender from the Fire Nation. Her parents and Alejandro's parents arranged for the two to be married, for Heather's family have been long time political loyalists to the Burromuertos for years. Heather's parents accepts the marriage in order to increase their social standing.

Unfortunately, Heather is not romantically interested in Alejandro (or guys for that matter) and Alejandro feels the same way.

Carlos was away on a trip from the Fire Nation capital when Alejandro was banished. Carlos comes back home a day later and when he found out what happened, he was less than pleased. Despite his parents objections and pleas, Carlos packed his stuff and left to join Alejandro and help him in anyway that he can (he just doesn't want his little brother to do this alone and is worried for his safety). But not before giving José a black eye and a broken jaw. NOT THE FACE BE DAMNED.

You've always got really cool ideas and expansions!!!!

Carlos eventually becoming the stand in uncle Iroh. And in his defence, José broke the rule first by scarring Alejandro soo, he was totally justified.

I can imagine Heather being a lot more split minded on what side she's on. But, I think it'd be cool if she ended up going on her own adventure- meeting Leshawna and her lot. Like, at first she believes she's better than them all cause she can bend and they can't, but Leshawna humbles her very quickly. Maybe she came to the island to try and take it over only to fail spectacularly.

Idk whether Courtney should stay where she is- cause of duty and all that- or try to hunt Neha and Owen down for ditching their posts. Maybe even eventually overthrowing Chris. But like, imagine Courtney accepting her role and duty, having to marry a man and lead the tribe. It's all she knows, how she was raised. But then Neha and Owen run off so she sets off to bring them back. If she has to play her part and accept her responsibility for the tribe, then so should they. Owen as a soldier and Neha as a noble's wife (she thought they had a comradery since Neha worked for her family, even if she was always silent...). But along the way she learns that the tribes traditions are really outdated and sets out to change them. Have Duncan and Gwen be a part of her coming more into herself instead of what she's expected to be.

Tyler has his Aladin story. A street rat in love with the 'princess' of his area. But also, imagine the comedic potential of Eva and Tyler being (accidental) infamous vigilantes on the streets when they're just trying to get by. Like, they even have nicknames.

Then Izzy is just Izzy. It would be super funny if she somehow just knows everyone despite never actually meeting them.

Heather and Courtney are both sorted into Slytherin and are pureblood witches. While Cody, who is a Muggle, was sorted into Hufflepuff and Gwen, who is half blood witch, was sorted into Ravenclaw.

Team Victory:

All the members of Team Victory were sorted into Hufflepuff, except for Harold, who was sorted into Ravenclaw, and Leshawna, who was sorted into Gryffindor. They either come from half-blood families or are muggles.

And Chris McLean can be the headmaster of Hogwarts.

I'm gonna screw with the ages of Neha's brothers here, but imagine them all being in Hogwarts and competing over who will get her in their house.... Which means that when the ones in Slytherin find out that Alejandro caused them to lose.... Uh, yeah.

I can also totally imagine none of them sitting at their assigned tables. Maybe for the first meal but after that- utter bedlam.

And like, imagine the Devi siblings just know the passwords for all of the houses, just so they can pester each other. And prank each other.

José having a rivalry with one of the brothers over Slytherin politics. Alejandro getting hero worship because he just put José in his place and didn't get hexed???

And Sierra would totally follow Cody into Hufflepuff. Quite a show of loyalty....

Okay, so, Neha having her gender reveal in the show then this, 100%.

Buuuut, I also offer you Alejandro trying to find Noah outside of total drama to make up and continue on their previous relationship friendship. Except, he can't find a trace of him anywhere.

So eventually he gives up, goes on All stars hoping he'd be there but no, still no sign. During this time, he and Heather break up on mutual terms.

Then, when he gets back home, he returns to find out that his mother has hired a new assistant, a girl named Neha who looks and acts incredibly familiar.

Now, Neha could have been female all along (as my usual aus) but, transFem Noah also works for this...

So Neha is trying her hardest to pretend that she hadn't met him before. Slightly annoyed at him, but mainly believing he's still mad at her for calling him an eel and ruining their friendship. Also, she needs to keep her professionalism, this is a well paying job after all that'll give her a boost in the industry...

Basically- Burromuerto family shenanigans + competent assistant Neha.

Oh, and his mother totally set this up knowing full well who Neha is/was.

ur neha idol au with her siblings in addition to kpop demon hunter au

I quite like this vision.

This could with the whole idol group Vs idol group thing and follow the K-pop demon hunter plot. However, I think that having the idol au take centre stage and have the premise of K-pop demon hunters.

So Neha still joins TD and her brothers still sign up for other shows. The reason for this is that the hosts of these shows are the big bads with their staff being minor demons. All of the brothers are paired up but unfortunately for Neha, she's the only one who fits the age range for TD. So Chris and Chef are both demons with Chef being more remorseful, and all of their interns and workers are also demons.

Like in kpdh, everyone can see both demon forms but just assume that it's special effects.

As for weapons, Neha's could be something more traditional like ceremonial swords or trident, but also- she totally deserves the right to have a gun 🤣 maybe even a demon dog from the Amazon....

Now then, the hunters in this case would be a generational thing in the family, passed on through the eldest child. In this instant, it was Neha's mother.

Also, I'm a bit up in arms on if I draw parallels with Rumi or not. Cause while having Neha be half demon would be interesting, it wouldn't be plot relevant in the way Rumi is. Cause her mother would still be alive and her brothers would all be aware of this and I can't see them loving her any less or forcing her to hide? Even if she's technically only their half-sister. The only way it could be involved in the plot is....

You know what, this is now a bio dad Chris au. Except they hate each other. It also explains why Chris let her work for him for a bit- cause he wanted to try to convince her to turn against her family. But it doesn't work. And the only reason Neha doesn't get rid of him straight away is because she wants to know more about the one who says he's her sperm donor.

Things really diverge from the idol au plot in London. Neha started getting more active in Jamaica, which meant that Chris couldn't keep her around anymore. So instead of being kidnapped by stalker fans, it's demons. And Sierra is also still there with her and subsequently learns that demons are real and not just special effects.

However, they don't show this on camera. Instead, a demon intern disguised as Neha talks crap about Alejandro in front of their remaining teammates. Bear in mind Alejandro had changed his approach to the competition to impress her and overhears all this... Yeah. Angst.

Then Chris fudges with the votes cause as previously said in the idol au, Duncan wouldn't vote for Neha on fear of her fans.

So, electric eels and a high drop without a parashoot. Should be fatal, except that the Devi's are just built different, so she does survive with minimal injuries.

Actually- I think I'm gonna add more drama here. Cause you know how Sierra's mother is obsessed with Chris.... What if Sierra and Neha are actually half sisters...

But Sierra only finds out that demons exist thanks to London. Have that still be the kick start of her redemption arc. Because not only does she witness the effects of stalking first hand, but she also knows that she's partially like them on a physical level as well. Explaining her superhuman strength. So she works as hard as she can to not be like that.

Neha returns on Niagara brawls much to Chris' annoyance and she does her reveal there as well as sing to ignite hope! Kind of an apology thing. The rest of the season results in Chris & Chef Vs Sierra and Neha trying to get rid eachother.

Eventually Alejandro finds out the truth as well- idk whether he should get told by Neha when she gets back or witness Sierra fighting one off in a challenge before Neha returns and gets everything explained then. Maybe Tyler as well? Mainly cause that would mean that the final four are all aware and instead of the finale being between Sierra and Alejandro it can be a final showdown between Chris and Chef Vs the contestants.

Like, the challenge to Hawaii is actually a chase after a confrontation.

In fact, maybe even let all the other contestants have the chance to beat the crap out of their frustrations for the torment they had to endure on the show.

Starts off pretty much the same

Izzy, Owen and Neha are inside the pyramid- Lindsay, Tyler and Alejandro are on top.

The only difference is that somehow, Alejandro makes it to the finish line before Lindsay does, earning him a spot on team victory.

So Lindsay, Neha, Owen, Tyler and Sierra are initially on a team together.

When they're discussing team names, Lindsay overhears Neha muttering to herself about how Eva would love this. So just before Sierra can yell out the team name to Chris, Lindsay interrupts her with a marvellous idea. Why don't they name the team after their one friend who hasn't made it to a second season-what was it again? Oh right, Iron Woman!

And so the name has spawned (later on, it'll become a bit of a running gag where instead of saying go team, they say For Eva!)

They also confuse people at first because they keep talking about her like she's dead. Eva and Beth find it hilarious. They may or may not begin to prank those on the aftermath...

Neha gets to lay on the goat while everyone else walks- it was an unanimous agreement between everyone and Sierra kind of just went with it.

Sierra and Izzy still swap teams.

However, because team Iron woman was already ahead of team victory in the weaving before the switch and Alejandro isn't there to tell Izzy to let Amazon's camel on, Team Iron woman win the first challenge.

There are no eliminations since Alejandro took care of the stick. He is going to regret this.

Avatar AU:

Neha is an Airbender: has a flying bison named Goldfish, who she loves dearly

Eva is an Earthbender and a Metalbender.

Izzy is a Firebender; she can generate electricity perfectly, a skill that Alejandro is jealous of.

Owen is a Waterbender: Mostly uses his bending to heal his friends and family, not much of a fighter.

Alejandro and the Burromuertos are Fire Nation Royalty (Carlos could be a nonbender). Alejandro hasn't mastered the skill of generating lightning but can shoot fire out of his mouth. Jose's firebending is blue and can generate lightning.

Oooooo, I'm nominating Tyler as the Avatar. Him and Eva can be childhood friends. Competitive ones.

Is this so we can have team Chris travelling together? Yes. Yes it is.

And yesssss, goldfish the flying bison!

Okay, so I'm going to expand more of the back stories for this one!

In this case, the fire nation (cough cough Burromuertos cough cough) did attack the airbenders, subsequently capturing the avatar, keeping her hostage for decades and eventually killing her.

Neha and Owen

Neha's family (as well as a couple other air Nomads) had managed to escape before hand- migrating to the northern water tribe where they were taken in. No one outside of the tribe is allowed to know that they house airbenders.

Since they quickly realised airbending is actually quite useful and the air Nomads are peaceful and don't find anything to gain from wealth, they are basically free labour there and seen as prizes to the more wealthy, often involved in political marriages. Of course, this is based on the northern water tribe's stricter patriarchal culture.

So then you have Owen, someone who doesn't like to fight and hates military training and Neha who is treated like she's some kind of trophy. Neither of them having a choice in their lives at all.

Due to her family's customs as well as the culture of the tribe, it's frowned on for girls to be involved in the military so Neha pretends to be Noah- a non-bender and strategist- to try and help out and actually do something with her brain. Of course, Neha and Owen are besties that sneak away from their assigned 'posts' to regularly go see a flying bison that Neha had found injured one day.

It's also how Owen finds out about his passion for healing but, once again because of the culture, is greatly looked down on because of it. So instead, he practises in secret (well, it's more like people just don't realise he is).

Somehow, neither Owen or Neha know each other's secrets until the fight with the fire nation soldiers and appearance of the avatar.

Owen also has more of an air nomad mindset than a typical waterbender because he actually interacts with them on a regular basis- they make amazing food and have fun games!

Tyler and Eva

The next avatar was from the southern water tribe who lived to a much older age but was unable to fight, instead using his abilities to protect his tribe.

Then we get to Tyler who grew up in the poorer parts of the earth kingdom. Tyler and Eva are childhood friends that are constantly competing with each other.

Eva thinks that the only reason Tyler hasn't told her he's the avatar was because of how dangerous it is.

Tyler genuinely doesn't know he's the avatar.

He still gets his clumsiness. In fact, it's even worse. Their dynamic usually goes- Tyler gets into trouble, Eva makes it worse, it either ends in a fight or the two running away.

He gets discovered after the arrival of Izzy which leads to the three of them having to run away, eventually pirating a fire nation ship that Izzy stole.

He wants to defeat the firelord because of how violent he is, wanting a safer life for those around him. Especially for a noble girl by the name of Lindsay...

Meanwhile, Eva is sick of the treatment of and from the fire nation soldiers. A lot of them are good people, but she's seen them be punished because of this. Mainly by the newer recruits from the fire nation itself, the fanatics and the generals.

Izzy

She grew up as a stray, as in like a street rat. She'd often sneak into places she shouldn't be, like battle ships and temples.

It's actually how she got to the earth kingdom in the first place, she snuck onto the ship Alejandro was on and managed to remain undetected the entire time.

Izzy ends up bumping into Eva and Tyler, very quickly escalating a fight between them and fire nation soldiers that ends up with Tyler being outed as the avatar.

She decides to join them and help them escape because she hates the firelord and wants him dead is bored and this seems entertaining enough.

Izzy also comes up with the idea to travel to the Northern water tribe to find a water bender to teach Tyler. And well, since there are 'no more' airbenders, he'd need people to help him master the other three elements and kind of wing it when it comes to airbending. Of course, they end up lucking out when they meet Neha and Owen.

Alejandro

You could go down the Zuko redemption arc thing with Alejandro or have him run away and take up a fake name.

For the redemption, it would be pretty similar to Zuko's situation where he spoke out of turn once and was branded a disgrace. Except, for his Agni Kai- José takes their father's place.

He is sent to capture the Avatar, but then is forced to join the team when he's injured during the fight with the northern tribe. Of course he plans on leading them to his father to regain his honour but ends up changing his heart after growing attached to the group. He ends up winning over Neha (the one who is most suspicious of him) through goldfish. That's when it finally clicks to him that he's changed and he actually kind of likes her it.

For the running away one, he runs into them in their second visit to the earth kingdom where he's hiding out. He joins them at the appearance of José.

It'd also be really funny and cool if Owen was the one to snap against José and defeat him. Or him and Alejandro work together. Mainly cause it'd be a really cool arc of a one sided hatred to begrudging respect to best friends.

Carlos gets to be the firelord in the end and as usual, this would be Alenoah.
