Can someone explain to me based in canon evidence—outside of the fact that he is in a relationship with Buck—WHAT is the appeal of Tommy Kinard? Why is this a character so many people have latched onto? What about him makes people think he's somehow good for Buck/a good person/an interesting character/etc.? What—other than some vague ambiguous "potential" that has yet to be realized after 13 episodes of absolutely nothing—is the appeal of this character?

WHY do people love him so much??

Like, I am truly not trying to be mean here, but WHAT are people seeing? Because there just is absolutely nothing to this character. He is the blandest, most boring love interest we have ever seen on this show. He has no personality at all (except the shitty one from back when he was just an actively terrible person). He has not been built into a single story other than Buck's (and even then, barely). Like, they could have told the same story with a cardboard cutout and I'm not sure a single thing would be different. He's just vaguely there. Doing nothing. Being boring.

Being in the crowd for Jack Perry's Windy City Riot entrance was incredible. But also, I get why AEW showed the footage. I've been a wrestling fan for a long time, and Jack Perry definitely was going to get Punk chants and be the "got CM Punk fired" guy if they hadn't done anything. But incorporating the incident into the story really lets Perry react to it. He can do the choke. He can do Punk signature moves. He can tease the G2S. But it's part of his thing now, and he can own it and move forward and maybe even drop it in a few years as he evolves. It's just really cool of the Bucks and FTR to absorb all the obnoxious discourse around showing the footage Wednesday to help a young wrestler not get bogged down because an old guy had a fit.

Still thinking back to that one promotion(?) clip from the pokemon anime where protagonists are going down a street with different advertisement screens. One of them shows submas doing a perfectly synchronized move, facial expressions and all, but at the end of it you can see Emmet straighten a bit and shift back into a smile
