I like to think humans used to have abilities too, but lost them over the course of evolution. so Bronte’s father was a charger and his mother was a shade.

When he turned 18 he manifested after thinking he would be talentless for a while.

while manifesting he accidentally inflicted on his mother.

after he manifested he decided to run away, not wanting to hurt anyone else.

but while trying to run away some stranger tried to ask if he was ok and he inflicted on them out of fear. Their nerves were destroyed and they died.

No you’re so valid tbh 😭 and I’m sure he can attest to this but I probably was pretty awful at responding at first—we started talking like, a blog or two ago, it’s been months, right? But the key with my stupid neurodivergent/anxious/forgetful ass is persistence, patience, and the thing that just varies person to person—we gotta click. Like, if you’re introverted at all, you know exactly what I’m talking about. There are some people you click with and it just doesn’t drain your social battery nearly as much (or maybe at all) to talk to them.
