Since taking office, President Donald Trump has engaged in several actions to censor or restrict media outlets:

Additionally, the FCC initiated probes into National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) regarding their sponsorships, with recommendations to halt federal funding for these public broadcasters.

4. Manipulation of Language in Official Communications: The Trump administration has been noted for intentionally altering language in official communications to advance its agenda. Examples include rebranding offshore drilling as an “energy emergency” and renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the “Gulf of America.” Such linguistic changes have been criticized as attempts to reshape societal narratives and historical facts.

These actions have raised concerns among journalists and free speech advocates, who view them as potential infringements on press freedom and the First Amendment.

My first artwork of the year (not counting the vid I posted cause that was made months ago), and I’m starting things off with a bang.

Took a stab at a city scape, AND I tried my hand at digitally painting for the first time in a long while, using some new techniques! I had a ton of fun with this piece, and I’m definitely going to continue practicing with landscapes and finally bringing the e world around Censor to canvas.
