Could we please have your headcanons of non-human Ace?? Is he a cuddly fox?? Or a coyote?

I would say a fox would suit him pretty well, cute little troublemaker.

Soft fluffy fur that matches his hair and covers his arms and legs but is black from wrists to hands and ankles to feet. There's fur above where his tail is attached and there's a small patch of white fluff on his chest, and his underarms along with a thin but soft happy trail of white fur starting below his belly button.

His dark claws that are semi-retractable. Sort of human hands, the skin is dark to match the dark fur on top of his hand and the patting on his fingertips along with the pad on his palm also matches the color. The padding is kind of soft. Touches your hands and teases you for them being small and clawless, totally not because he wants to hold them.

Foxes hunt by stalking and pouncing on their prey, regular human Ace already likes startling you, especially with the cute noises you make. It’s gonna be way worse with him being an actual predator made for hunting and sneaking. You will hear nothing before he pounces and man will he laugh once he has you. Said laugh is a bit fox-like but not quite.

Foxes actually have small spines on their tongues, you discover that when he decides to give your cheek a lick. No, he’s not being affectionate he just knows you humans think that stuff is gross, and he wanted to mess with you…totally the reason.

Even domesticated foxes have a very strong digging instinct, they will absolutely attempt to dig through floors, carpets, and your yard. He mostly grew out of it but you might catch him digging a hole or two in the Heartslabyul garden or even behind Ramshackle. Sometimes for no reason or other times to hide something from Riddle.

He is such a freaking snack thief.

Despite being a canine species, foxes actually resemble cats more than dogs in many ways. Like his animal counterpart, Ace’s pupils are catlike, vertical slits, which gives him excellent night vision. Many foxes are also excellent climbers, routinely scaling trees and roofs to stalk birds and squirrels. So, you might catch him on your roof or hanging out in a tree and he will likely encourage you to join him up there. Oh, the little human has trouble climbing? Well, he…he guesses he could help you if you give him some snacks later- no wait come back! It’s too bad most of the others here are beastmen or else it would be way easier to cheese it after causing trouble.

Foxes are naturally curious animals. As such, they occasionally check out other animals—even the ones that would, in other circumstances, be their bitter enemies—and make friends with them. For instance, dogs (and, to a lesser extent, cats) tend to have an antagonistic relationship with foxes. This does nothing to stop individual foxes from sometimes approaching and playing with both cats, to the point where the fox and the other animal actually befriend each other. Ace is similar in a lot of ways, though unfortunately as we all know, Ace’s version of making friends involves a lot of teasing. He’s lucky humans aren't a bitey bunch and can be easily won over by floof. He knows this is a weakness of yours and uses that to his advantage, acting like he's allowing you to pet him out of the goodness of his heart and not because it feels freaking amazing. Too bad for him Foxes are a vocal bunch, especially when happy and he sucks at hiding the feel-good fox noises when you find a good spot.

Interestingly enough recent research has found that one of the earliest animal species foxes have befriended may actually be . . . us humans. A 16,500-year-old cemetery in northern Jordan was found to contain a grave with the remains of a human male and his companion fox. Seeing as the grave is roughly 4,000 years older than the earliest known human-dog burial, it would appear that foxes were playing around with humans long before we got around to domesticating dogs. So…it was all most meant to be that you guys become friends…and he's obviously your favorite, right?

Be it with family, a friend, or something more foxes can be especially affectionate. Grooming, playing, and cuddling are the big three ways they show it. Though with grooming he often seems to be the one insisting you do it for him, he's pretty proud of his tail and is smug about it with others that you love his so much.

It…nice how you gently hold his hand while filing claws that got a bit too long. He’s ready to fall asleep, half lying on you as you brush out his fur, humming soothingly as you do it. It's in that relaxed half-awake state when he unconsciously tries to groom you back using his tongue. Will deny everything if you bring it up later. However, once you're officially together things change, and you'll end up with a lot more licks and Ace going after your neck and face along with a lot of nibbles.

Oh, the cuddling. Foxes cuddle not only to keep warm but also as a form of security blanket for each other. Their close physical contact provides comfort and reassurance within their social circles. Best believe anytime either of you has some stressful stuff going on a cuddling sesh is going to happen. He doesn’t even need to ask about sharing a bed since it's just normal for you guys now. Will still say he does it for your benefit, but we all know the truth. The nights he spends with you are the ones where he sleeps best, and he’ll get kind of grumpy if you don’t get to do it often. He’s clingy in his sleep and a living heater. Expect to either be used like a personal body pillow or straight up get laid on. Too bad for you if you get too hot or have to pee. The tail always manages to get wrapped around you. A cuddle pile with him, you, and Deuce is not uncommon.

Playing, there are the usual things he does for fun, along with his pranks but…for some reason chasing and catching you seems to be one of his favorites. Will give you a bite once he has you but is surprisingly gentle with it. That fluffy tail will swing around like nuts and the happiest noises make their way out of him as he rolls around on the ground with you in his arms. Tease him about it and he might give you a harder bite.

The others are sure he's making it his life's goal to have you always smell like him. You've lost track of how many times he's tossed a spare shirt or hoodie your way saying something about how a furless weirdo like you needs to stay warm. Arm over your shoulders, head resting on top of yours, if he's not touching you, he's at least sitting close. Gets grumpy if he smells anyone else on you and will straight up say you stink.

As far as courting goes, a lot of the guys assumed he was already doing it with how he already acts with you. Aside from him bringing you more food and getting into more fights it's mostly the same. Male foxes court the vixens and often fight with other males during breeding season. The female chooses which one receives her favors. The males follow the female until she makes her decision. The guys probably thought you were just taking a really long time to make up your mind or felt too guilty to reject him yet.

Interestingly enough male foxes only produce sperm during their mating season. With many animals, the male is triggered into season by the female going into heat, but even after researching it for a whole day, I'm not sure if that also applies to foxes since this seems unique to them. What does this mean for Ace? Will he only be in the mood when his season comes around? Will he still be affected by his partner ovulating?

Or is this possibly something that wouldn't necessarily affect his libido but just means he'll be having dry orgasm until he's in season? I mean, the latter means no mess or need for contraceptives so that doesn't sound too bad, especially with giving oral so maybe we will just go with that.

Like a regular fox, he indeed has a knot. For some reason unlike wolves or dogs where it takes around half an hour for them to get unstuck from knotting, foxes stay together longer, typically for an hour but can go for even longer.

Foxes scream when they mate...a lot...and really loud. I'm not saying that he will actually scream but he can get pretty loud with the moans during sex and will make at least some fox noises.

After mating is usually when foxes get to work on their den. Since Ramshackle is away from everyone else he's likely going to consider your room your guy's den. Expect him to leave a lot of his stuff in there and if your bed isn't that big, he is going to make a pillow and blanket nest for you two on the floor, maybe it will even be like a fort. Perfect for cuddling in, mating, and having babies.

Does not actually want kids but that won't keep him from talking about breeding you during the act....now that I think about it, I think a lot of the twst dudes that don't want kids would do the same thing. "No baby, only breed."

Sonic, in his Werehog form, is far less of a werewolf and more of a werehusky.

He's also Shadow's cure for insomnia, as falling into the floof pretty much knocks him unconscious upon contact.

YESSS, I feel like meeting Sonic in his werehog Shadow would have the first impression he would go feral and destroy everything. Sonic can't help but use this opportunity to prank and taunt him. But after explaining to Shadow how it first happened, They try to listen but since they are surrounded by warmth. Shadow keeps accidentally falling asleep on Sonics fur. Sonic hasn't seen them fall asleep this fast in years so he will DEFINITELY use this for his advantage for more cuddles.

I own a rabbit so I'd like to add some insight for your of fox maws AU. I know pet rabbits and hares aren't exactly the same, but I'm sure some aspects are the same.

1) rabbit's favorite spot to be pet is on their forehead, and most rabbits don't like their ears being pet but mine does. She hates being pet on her back. She much prefers to headbutt you to get you to pet her forehead and cheeks.

2) rabbits tend to breath so fast (just normally) that they look like they are vibrating. Their hearts also beat very fast naturally. It's very funny to see this floof ball vibrating on the floor as I know of this knowledge and it's normal, but I just keep thinking about Y/N just vibing and vibrating and the boys just panicking like "why are they vibrating are they ok??"

3) rabbits are like r e a l l y cuddly. Super duper cuddly. They crave attention 24/7. It's adorable when you're not busy, but my rabbit has a huge huge attitude when you stop petting her for 3 seconds, she just shoves her head back into your hand and closes her eyes like "hello I did not say stop". Again, can't stop thinking of a comfortable Y/N being demanding for attention on a lazy day. Oh and binkies as a show of comfortability and affection. It's when they're running and do sort of a jump/hop randomly.

Just some information that I think would be very on brand for a rabbit to see. You already have the level of anxiety down, as rabbits are very skittish. My rabbit hates being picked up as that means it's cage time, and so she is just very jumpy when she sees a familiar body movement. As you can see, this AU is stuck on my mind

Ohhh, I'm really glad rabbits like their forehead to be touch because I've been thinking of Hare Y/N enjoying doing forehead touches! Ear touching will have to be something they adjust to (Moon likes touching their ears) but Sun would love touching Y/N's face.

PFFFT I'm cackling at the thought of Sun and Moon (and Eclipse) struggling to tell if Y/N is okay or not because they're always vibrating. Is it anxiety? Are they chilling? Are they gonna run away? Who knows!

To be fair, it's very difficult to read fox body language as two opposite emotions can have very similar gestures, such as a sharply swinging tail which means aggression but a tail wagging means happiness, so Y/N is just as clueless (and even more terrified) as the boys.

2008 Wellington Non-Replica Cats here we go

Gather around, everyone, while I pull out my souvenir programme from 2008 Cats I still have from this production way back yonks ago. Feel free to partake in some snacks! There will be plenty of photos from the brochure, hence putting them under a "read more".

Okay, so looking through this production's cast list, I see that there were pretty much the whole cast you'd expect (we had a Plato rather than Admetus, for example), plus some OCs sprinkled in there as well, which I like! The Growltiger sequence was clearly still in there, as there's a Griddlebone for example. One thing I really love is that they cast a very old (I think retired, or close to) actor as Old Deuteronomy which makes sense to me, because he is supposed to be an old cat (I think the actor was in his mid-sixties at least). Ditto for Gus as well, also of a similar age to the actor who played Old Deut, which I love for this cast, and also it makes sense for them to be played by older people, considering they are supposed to be on the older side of life.

There was a separate Quaxo character from Mistoffelees as well, and also kept the Exotica character from the 1998 movie as well.

OCs created (names only, sadly) include Victor, Johnny, Isis, Savannah, Rocket, Anoushka, and Garbo.

Okay enough rambles, on to the photos I took on my phone from the brochure!

Yes, that is Munkustrap, and honestly love his wig--very wild, very maine coon ears in there. Interesting they gave him leopard spots--maybe Jenny gave him those for him to wear for the night? I actually don't mind they gave him some leopard spots here, as it makes him look a lot more like Tugger as well, selling that whole Munk and Tugger are brothers thing even more.

Speaking of our favourite rock star cat...

That leather costume. Umph. My poor bisexual heart. I love the extra floof at his ankles (I think those are leg warmers). This Tugger, from what I remember, gave me very John Partridge's Tugger vibes, which I wholly approve of. Victoria has called shotgun for the space between his legs, and an OC (I think) cat is clawing her way up his thigh which, mood. Yes. Electra is the one that did the screaming at the end of his song (the one stretching up to him, wearing that white-ish unitard.

Griddlebone and Growltiger (I think)!

This Macavity fucks, and I remember his costumed was sparkly as fuck. Practically was in a sparkle-off competition with Mistoffelees in terms of sparkly costumes. I can absolutely see why Bomba wanted this Macavity inside her NOW.

Here's the one and only Grizabella; my favourite costume out of this non-replica Cats, I have to say.

Found a Teazer lurking at the beginning of the brochure, and I love her makeup, which is definitely very much based on the 1998 film Teazer's makeup. I love it!

I think this is supposed to be Misto, and they're adorable, especially with the makeup (which is why I'm pegging them as likely to be our favourite magical sparkly boy, as that looks very similar to Jacob's makeup in the 1998 movie.)

A Mungo has been spotted, looking cute as all get out. He absolutely uses his cute face to fool people into thinking he would never, ever steal or cause a ruckus no way he absolutely knows nothing about that Ming vase or the winter vest he stole from the humans' drawers. That was definitely another cat that looked just like him and just happened (impossible as it seems) to have a name very similar to his.

Old Deut looks very cuddly I want to snuggle him.

Munkustrap would like to have the spotlight for a bit in the middle of Bustopher's song. For some reason I keep thinking the cat next to him over his right shoulder is wearing a superhero outfit, and now all I can think of is either Teazer or Jerrie (looks like one of them) trying to convince Munkustrap they cause ruckus because they're superheroes dammit! Munk is having the fucking time of his life and I'm here for it! Let the stressed out junkyard dad have some fun and this song absolutely Brings Joy for him. Bless this Munk.

One of my favourite things is how some of the wigs are very based on the original Broadway wigs and I'm a thousand percent HERE for this. I LOVE wild wigs that you sometimes see in other productions too, especially in bootlegs from earlier productions from the eighties/early nineties. I see one of the psychic twins (Tanto I believe) with their unmistakeable wig, and a sparkly Misto behind whom I THINK is Jemima (1980s style wig), and Victoria is also very easy to recognise here too with her white wig and unitard.

When you first met Fulgur, you were intimidated to say the least. He was taller than you (sorry if you are taller than him!) and seemed like he could care less about others but when you guys first talked to each other, he lovedddd you! You were a bit taken back by it but your grew onto it.

Fulgur enjoyed your presence, and he didn’t hide it. When you would hug him for behind he would be like “awwww, you’re just adorable” he lived for your touch! You lay your head on his shoulder? He’d lay his head on top of yours. You try to hold his hand? Loves it! He wants you to cuddle him forever. So you better do it.

You and Uki were cuddle buddies, you guys would always nap together on the couch when you had a bad day, felt under the weather, or if you guys just needed to take a nap. He loved just being able to lounge with you without anyone bothering him. He liked it. No, he loved it.

You would always be on top of him while holding his arm or waist while he would have his arms wrapped around you so you wouldn’t get up. It was lovely. He would also have a really good scent to him so it only helped out when you were trying to fall asleep (yk the perfume “Starlit Night” at Bath and Bodywork’s? Yeah- that’s what he would smell like. Love it). It was just like you were sleeping in clouds with Uki’s soft touch. Something you wouldn’t get rid of, ever.

hello fam, happy Tuesday!

have a look at my slightly heart-shaped floof; she'd been very cuddly today.

i've had a long and stressful week last week but i'd survived it and dare i say, it went well? here's hoping it all stays that way. i'm waiting for some big work-related news and because of that, it's all been going at a strange pace. i'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news but i'm also not too impatient for it to come, so it's been weird.

MOREEE shifting stuff :) assuming price is a grizzly bear, so how about him with a black bear! shifter s/o? comparing paw sizes with him + getting absolutely pancaked when he lays over them. HIBERNATION OHHH MY GOD... he probably doesn't have time to because of work, but he always ends up being so so much more sleepy than normal during the winter months, and having another bear shifter in the pack that he at least gets one day to 'hibernate' w/ (just sleeping on the lovesac alllll day) ,, it's so cute omfg . price would probably also be HUGEE as a bear, maybe larger than normal, and maybe so is his s/o, but he's still so much bigger. loves cradling them in his arms, close to his chest <33

Okay so let's get some basics down! Price is a Eurasian Brown Bear. Males get big - on average 550 to 660 pounds, topping out at 1000lbs, and a little over 8 feet tall. Price personally would probably be a bit over 8 feet tall, and definitely on the 1000lbs end of the spectrum. He's a big floof.

Now the American black bear... has a shit ton of variation. Okay you know what I'm going with the California black bear because those live practically in my backyard (but not literally thank goodness). The average female weighs about 128 pounds.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Paw sizes would be hysterical because his would be So Much Bigger than hers. He's taller, longer, bigger in every way. He would probably not lay his full shifted weight on her just because she's that much smaller.

He would however absolutely pin her.

Those two would absolutely take a couple days when they could and just snooze all day. Probably in the pack room. Gaz, Soap, and Ghost all know they're welcome to join as long as they're quiet. Gaz has full on used Price as a bed before. Price does not give a shit.

He would absolutely be cuddly, too. In both forms. As a human he loves to wrap his arms around her and just hold her. As a bear, he likes to keep her close, let her lay on top of him. Or he'll rest his head across her back. He's always so careful of his claws, not wanting even the possibility of hurting her.

Food would be a big love language between these two. Just imagine them getting a chance to shift and go fishing. They'd have so much fun

After MC leaves Devildom they feel lonely at their house.

The seven voices greeting them every morning aren't there anymore. The warm cuddles, and faces that would light light up whenever they entered the room.

And so they get a cat, and name it Mammon, after their first demon. They're a fluffy white cat with blue eyes. MC gives the cat a yellow collar with a bell

And it begins to make them feel less lonely. Mammon the cat makes them feel loved again. They cuddle together at night, and MC finds themselves talking to the four pawed friend a lot.

Mammon favorite place to be is right by MC's side while they work on their computer in bed.

Several weeks later MC starts to notice a new cat looking though their windows, specifically when their watching anime their otaku demon friend recommended to them. Their short haired grey cat with orange eyes.

And before MC knew it the cat was dubbed Levia-chan and had entered MC's home as well.

They had acquired pet friendly hair dye and Levia-chan got purple tips on his tail and bangs. Mc hot glued a long pink ribbon to his purple collar like Rui-chan had.

Levi would watch anime and video games with MC. Mammon would often steal from Levi's food bowl, but the two got along most of the time.

The grey fluff would soon warm up enough to his new living space that he would join the cuddling party on MC's bed at night and while they were working.

A couple of weeks had past and one day MC was out getting Groceries, when they heard a bark behind them. They turned around arms full of plastic bags, to see a large golden retriever with fluffy orange fur.

The dog was barking, and he looked rather hungry. MC remembered back to the guttonus demon back at the House of Lamentation; and how he would stand behind MC waiting for food as they cooked dinner for the boys.

They looked back at the dog, and felt their heart grow warm.

And by dinner time the dog was named Beel, had a collar similar to the demon's necklace, and the house hold of one human and two cats, grew to add one dog in the mix.

One night while taking walking with Beel a loud cry came from an alley way. MC, being all fight and zero flight, went to investigate. There in the middle of a circle of cats were two cats. One has long strawberry blond fur, and the other was a smaller blond short haired cat. The strawberry blond was looking very dramatic laid out with it's barely scratched paw out in front of it crying it's eyes out. While the shorter blond cat looked pissed off and was protecting the bigger one.

MC stepped into the circle and picked up the two cats, while shooing away the rest of the hostile cats. The strawberry blond was nuzzling into MC's chest as it cried, and the blond looked like it was blue screening. Beel was sniffing at the floofs and wagging his tail.

And soon two more cats joined the house hold. The strawberry blond was named Asmo after the diva devil, and had stolen one of MC's black scarves to wear. And the little blond cat was now named Satan, and received a green bow tie that matched his pretty green eyes.

And then there was scratching at the screen door. And MC was greeted to Beel holding a sleeping black fluffy cat by the scruff in his mouth.

Ah. The twins had been recreated in animal form.

And so a Belphie cat was an additional fur baby to the family.

Asmo was just as dramatic and glamorous as his demon counterpart, and Satan seemed to love when being read to.

Belphie was a little bastard, but was usually really cuddly and napped often. MC had given the sleepy boi a little cow bell collar and cow bed for him to sleep on. To which he proceeded to drag the bed all over the flat to nap.

The cuddle pile had grown in size, and MC's bed was mostly covered with their cats and dog.

MC usually took a day to bathe all of their pets, which took a while.

Mammon only tolerated baths when he was promised treats, Levia-chan loved baths and it took a while to get him out of the water. Beel was okay with getting a bath, however he only liked being dried off with a towel as he hated the hair dryer. Asmo absolutely lived for baths, and only tolerated certain brands of pet shampoo to wash his fluffy coat. Satan hated water, but seemed to go with it if MC had a podcast or audio book playing in the background. And Belphie always tried to jump out of the bath, though dealt with the bath if Beel was in the bath with him.

On another walk with Beel, with Belphie being carried in a cat back pack, there was a loud barking and yelling coming from behind one of the shops in town.

MC decided to investigate once again in case there was a puppers in trouble. Rounding the corner MC was shocked to see one of the shop keepers harassing a doberman. The dog was trying to fight back but the keep was beating the poor thing with a broom.

MC intervened and got in front of the dog and broom. Apparently the doggo was hungry and digging through the garbage behind the shop. And the shop keep was about to call the pound to retrieve it.

MC looked at the dog who was clearly scared but trying to act tuff. Deciding their house needed another dog to balance out the cats MC managed to pick up the large dog and the four began the journey home.

Lucifer, which was now the new comer's name, was given lots of love and care from MC. A pretty red spike collar was given to the big fur friend and a proper bath just before.

And while their seemed to be a few feathers ruffled by the new dog all seemed well.

MC's home finally felt full, even though they still missed the brothers, and all that they met through the exchange program.

Their bed was covered in animals to cuddle with and love was given to all of their fur babies.

MC wished for the day that the brothers would meet their counter parts, along with hope to not be dubbed as the crazy pet person by their neighbors.

Pixie really miss floof the guinea pig . was Pixies most cuddly guinea pig Pixie ever have and so friendly and fluffy and this picture is floof ask for pets. Pixie knew floof was old. and . not have good life before Pixie get, like so many of Pixies pets a rescue . but Pixie was not ready to say goodbye yet .

Pt 2 of cute clown things since people seemed to like the first one-

Saw this one happen, a small clown enjoying some cotton candy and decided it was a good idea to dip it in their chocolate milk. Did not turn out well and their owner had to stop laughing before they ordered more cotton candy for the poor floof, the clown sniffling but also slightly giggling at the ridiculousness of it all.

Clowns making little nests of practically anything they can hoard.

Clowns putting things in their mouth like play dough or other things they’re not supposed to and if you try to stop them they *run so freaking fast oh my GOSH*

Bigger clowns putting smaller ones on their shoulders/head/somewhere on them high up so they don’t get stomped on.

If clowns are in a colony they make sleeping piles in tiny ridiculous places and are pretty cuddly, usually getting tangled in each other.

If your clown is up to it, dancing around and letting them try out their tricks with music is great enrichment! Only if they seem like they’re enjoying it however as some clowns may not enjoy the pressure of more spontaneous or fast paced shows.

Clowns being sassy is absolutely hilarious to me. Little squeaks mocking whoever they’re sassing, waving their props at people, pouting in corners, sticking out their tongues, for larger clowns simply picking you up and walking off with you like a overgrown toddler. Absolutely amazing.

Furthermore- BIG CLOWN CHAOS. so often I see love for the little guys but big long stilt walkers! Scare clowns with long arms and legs curling around their owners, them acting like overgrown house cats and wanting to be in your lap but are too big. Them picking you up and hugging you and being sometimes protective of their owner, they also sometimes get scared and hide behind things that are faaaar to small for them.
