hey i’m making another doll post today!

this doll actually doesn’t belong to me, but is my roommates! one thing about me is i never shut up about this stuff so eventually one hit her enough that she wanted her. and since she’s nice she let me take pictures

so here’s stitched in style frankie!

we had quite the ordeal freeing them from this box, but we managed to do it with joint effort. the box did not escape unscathed tho, oops

the turnaround! you might not be able to tell from the box, but one side of this dress is super super short!

the face card. i love this dark metallic lip on frankie, it suits her perfectly

it’s a monster high post, i gotta show you the shoes. frankie has soles that look zigzag stitched and the heel is a needle with thread wrapped around it

a couple more detail shots. my favorite little detail is the tiny scissors hanging off the chains. the earrings are also a needle with wrapped thread!

roomie managed to fit her in this spot, so you can see her misc collection too lol. also tried to get a nice pic with just frankie but buff psyduck was still in the shot lol.

overall i really love the motifs in this doll. the skirt itself looks like a giant pile of gathered fabric hastily sewn into something wearable, and the tulle and leather textures all contrast each other so nicely, in a way that’s very… well, frankensteined.

as for my roomie, her main opinion is that she wishes this frankie had a prosthetic leg like g3, which i think would have looked super cool but of course mattel does like keeping their gens separate lol.
