I think the real question that nobody is asking is what happened to Snotlout’s yak? The initial singetail episode, he went to the effort to keep that thing safe multiple times. He even had hookfang fly back to the burning island to grab him. So now I wonder, where is Yakkity Yak?

part of me wants to say he probably took it to the Edge, or maybe Spitelout brought it with him back to Berk! he was an important part of the journey, after all. in any case, Yakkity Yak either does wonderfully in the new Jorgensen Yakmaster trap, or he's grazing peacefully in the open fields like he's always wanted<3

the other part of me is really worried the same happened to him as what happened to the twin's pet yak, Sam. in the episode "Bing! Bam! Boom!", Ruff and Tuff said their parents took the yak to the farm, "to live", and if it hadn't been for the "delicious steak dinner" and the "new fur jackets" they got that night, they might have been more heartbroken about it...

These aren't all fluffy or whatever because they traumatized af and relationships like that are...difficult... but not impossible.

-he's 8-ish months older than her and like, 20ish cms taller (sorry I don't know how American feet work lol 😭)

-He hyperfixated on the relationship lmao.

-Clingy...they BOTH are. In different ways I mean but. They are both clingy. They're scared the other is gonna die when they aren't around lol 🙃 Aiden is ofc very touchy and grabby, he just has to FEEL that she's with him. Also type of guy to call at 2am "hey bby u good?". Ash gets antsy if she hasn't seen or heard from him in a while (a while means like 2 hours) especially since he like spam texts her every 5 seconds. But he also hyperfixates or disassociates for a while and will forget 🤡 like she will yell at him about why he didn't call her for 17 hours and he'll just be like "um sorry. I was. Staring at a wall."

-he has a lot of weird/cringy ass pet names for her that makes her want to slap him; probably calls her Bae or whatever. Ash nicknames for Aiden: Idiot, stupid, dumbass, public safety hazard...called him "dear" like once just to try it and hated it. "Mr. Durable" if she wants to annoy him.

-worlds worst pick up lines. Ash NEVER understands them.

-he loves surprises! Surprise him! He wants to surprise Ash too! She kinda hates this. They decided to "compromise": he will tell her beforehand that there is a "surprise" and gives her little clues/puzzles so she can figure out whatever it is. He has like 0 patience tho so he always helps her figure them out 🤡 Ash likes watching him get excited about the puzzles and doing them together more than the surprise half of the time.

-Him infodumping is like white noise so she can sleep lol.

-they try to do things the other likes since Ash thinks this is important for a "healthy relationship". Almost died when they went to an indoor rock climbing place 💀 but she got to see Aiden in a leotard when they did ballet together so it was a fair trade (blackmail)

-he is her hypeman at ballet recitals, will probably cheer when she comes on stage and has a sign and everything, the rest of the gang (and Ash) is just like "...we don't know this guy"

-she wishes he took care of himself more. Sends him stuff like "did you drink any water today", "Ben told me you're gonna skateboard down the hill please dont", or "IF YOU SET YOUR BOOKS ON FIRE IM GONNA CALL THE POLICE" <3

-sometimes if she's sad she just kinda. Falls on his back. Like a koala or smth. She has that "I literally cannot do anything" sort of depression (which to be fair Aiden also has sometimes). Aiden carries her around.

-when nobody's looking she kisses his cheek, cuz she knows his face is usually sore from smiling so much.

-pretty low key on her part, but Aiden is so obvious everybody knows 💀 She doesn't like PDA (more so the fact that people stare) but Aiden will usually put his arm around her shoulders or waist/give her a smooch (not on the mouth) <3 it's honestly not that different from how he was when they were just friends ngl 🤡

-he says "I love you" easily, because it genuinely is the easiest thing in the world for him. He has 0 doubts about how he feels for her. Ash doesn't say it a lot cuz she feels weird saying it, so she does her best to show it in other ways.

-he gets jealous easily *siiiiigh* It's cuz he's insecure!!! Help him! 😭 He doesn't get annoyed with her because like. Ash pays about as much attention to other guys (I mean besides Tyler, Ben and Logan) as she does to dust. But he will death glare at any guy they don't know that's staring at her 💀

-kinda codependent... *looks at the floor* they are working on it. Sometimes Aiden feels like he's only alive for her. (I- Look at episode 61- IVE BEEN IN HIS POSITION. AIDEN BABY THIS AINT HEALTHY)

-absolute dork. Draws "A.C. + A.B." in a little heart in his note margins because he's goofy like that.

-he fell first she fell harder NO I will not be taking any criticism for this.

Cole headcanons

They have a bad habit of chewing their nails, it's not a severe habit that they do it all the time but it's noticeable. Like you can look at their nails and it's shorter than a normal person's nails.

Clemy tried to break their bad habit but it lasted for a few weeks before they got back to their bad habit 😑

THEY'RE EXTREMELY GOOD AT BORED GAMES

To the point that when the gang tries to play bored games they ask Cole to take it easy on them 😭

Their interaction basically went like this "hey Perrine what is that? 😟" "what is what Cole? 🤨" "that tree over there 🫵 it has faces on them 😦" "no it's not Cole 😑 okay you need to go to bed 😮‍💨"

After Cole slept they were scolded by Perrine 😣

I DO ACTUALLY :)

A few of them are nsfw so I ll keep them to myself but let's say they're active

Physical contact. LOTS of contact. Whenever they have a moment they're cuddling or leaning on each other.

Not necessarily big fans of pda however, they'll hold hands and give a quick kiss sometimes but they're usualy busy around the hidehout if there are other people around anyway

Scar likes to bite. It's not hard, or sexual it's just a way he shows affection, a little nibble here and there to say I love you since I don't think he's too spoken in day to day life and uses actions more

Crane, as a big brother himself, is good with kids and thats one of the main reasons Scar felt comfortable bringing his kid back to him (which I hc is a very young oprhaned relative of his, rather than his blood daughter. Not that it matters)

Also I named the kid Ortie (Nettle) :)

Speaking of Ortie, she became their world, and they're on the verge of spoiling her rotten already.

Crane likes telling stories of before the timeskip, about Ekko, Vi and the others. He always ends up sad at the end but there's so many things and places that remind him of everyone that he can't help it. Scar always listens and sometimes asks a few things about these memories. It's about people he doesn't know and never will know, but they're important to Crane so he likes learning.

He himself doesn't share his past. He drops lore sometimes and Crane just has to catch it because he won't repeat or elaborate.

At the begining they tiptoed around each other a lot and didn't face their feelings. Scar thought Crane didn't like him because he'd often find him staring. Crane just found him handsome and was openly pinning. Ekko had to nudge them a little to speak to each other

Scar go his crush after seeing Crane beat up some punks for breaking his shop window (he took Benzo's shop back). They spar together often now

Crane doesn't like speaking about Silco. He doesn't like the enforcers at all but he was old enough to remember Silco clearly before the bridge, and he also saved his life during the 7y timeskip (more on that if you're interested). So in general they evade the subject even if Scar pushes a bit sometimes.

They don't really have fights? No shouting or tension, they'd rather sit and have long talks when something bothers one of them. It's one of the few times Scar will speak a lot and in depth about what he feels, and Crane had to pry that out of him at the begining. They're both emotionally stunted somewhat so these talks help a lot, otherwise they'd just bottle everything up forever

The touch up on Scar's clothes are from Crane since he likes mending things, it's a habit. The mismatched colors were on purpose, no real reason tho

They match earings! Crane had gifted him a few pieces of handmade bone jewlery actually, but Scar doesn't like wearing them, doesn't want to risk breaking them, so he has a little box were he stores them

Crane used to shave his face all the time because he didn't like it, but since Scar mentioned he liked the feel of it, he's been keeping a short stubble on his chin

They take turn scolding the other, it's like when one isn't pulling all nighters for days, the other is hiding a wound and not getting it treated. It's always out of genuine worry, and they'll gang up on anyone butting in on their bad habbits.

Crane has been having nightmares after the Incident (again more on that if you're interested) where always wake up terrified. Scar is always a big comfort these nights, it helps that he can just engulf him in a hug and ground him

Scar ALSO has nightmares sometimes, especially now that Ortie is here, but he's quiet about it and just checks on both her and Crane before going back to bed.

Crane uses pet names, like 'dear' and 'my love'. Even after being together for a while now Scar still gets a bit flustered at it

Hazbin Hotel Episode 5 Live Blogging

Oh god this is kinda long. Again it is past midnight and I wont be editing this.

Three minutes in and I hate everything about Charlie's dad. Dude moves like a pool noodles. Not that big of a fan of his voice, but it matches everything else that's going on with him.

The texture on whatever the edge of that couch looks like frozen static. Why is it like that? is it supposed to be glittering?

Everyone helping to fix up the hotel is nice but that level of support and cooperation kinda feels like it comes out of nowhere. Not a single on of the hotel gang had a comment about showing Satan a beatup hotel or that he's THE GUY in hell and they are perfectly okay and normal about meeting him. NONE of them are nervous about it???

Alastor looks like he's about to go feral, lol

Razzle and Dazzle suddenly showing up with zero introduction, that neat. And there the kitty that I assume is the hotel key and a mich needed plot device at the end of the season.

Wait are R and D pets?? Oop, they're they go. Nice cameos guys.

Acknowledging that Alastor named it the hazbin hotel only raises more questions as to why the named was kept.

Somebody fucking said it, thank you. I don't doubt that Charlie coukd redeem so sinners, but most of them are used to doing whatever they want. Being in heaven is a hard switch and considered tge extermination are for fun, anyone who might get redeemed is not looking at a good time. Alastor actually carring about the hotel is interesting. Even if it is just for entertainment, him telling Mimzy to leave like that was neat. Also, is it just me or is Mimzy animated odd. It feels jerky, but not in an intentional way.

He says that he cares about her so much, but he actively doesn't interact with her. Charlie says as much at the beginning of the episode.

Oh cool so they were never close, why?

Lilith is faceless because...? It kinda takes you out of the sad song moment.

Literally what was stopping them from getting to know each other? They lived in the same house. If ut was Lilith, she's been gone for seven years. If Lucifer cared about knowing his daughter that much he should have jumped on the chance, not make rubber ducks, or whatever he was doing. It wasn't like he was ruling hell cuz no one knows what he looked like.

Wait, why could Mimzy guess who he was if Alastor hardly knew him?

Credits are rolling. I did not care about either of the songs. Alastor makes this episode, Lucifer shatters it. He isn't even convinced Charlie's plan could work, he just wants to support her. Like good job as a dad, but support alone isn't going to get the job down.

Hopefully the next episode will answer if redeeming sinners is even a possibility, like physically.

Luna i thought was obvious for the prompt, she's a zombie catgirl so shes just, parts. bits n pieces. Rosaline, again like Lafayette, i dont have much concrete about her, but being my 1 goddess oc it was pretty obvious she'd be the one i drew for the last day lol

ah thank you... it is a very tentative undeveloped idea so i don't have too much but here's what i have + brainstorming in real time

I think it's funny bc it's like. There's the musk-grimes similarities of weird dysfunctional silicon valley romance just without the music making but there's also kind of a jessica-roger rabbit component. Kind of. ever so slightly, probably the closest you can get with the most esoteric of space biology.

Idk where this happens on the timeline. Certainly before HOL but it has to be after Giblets starts to do the Sort of Stuff He Does but before it gets to its worst + he starts getting as paranoid as he is when we see him.

Also I am assuming Giblets had a wife before hand? Something something timeline I think Giblets had Krimothy before Mux but maybe not?? And idk where the Krubis incident fits in w/ this either.

Unless they met + dated way way back as a little fling at the start of their careers or in college or something. but then it's not as funny. There'd be the awkward ex situation then but what really intrigues me is the G3 and every Muxxalon employee looking on in horror as these two start holdin hands and being mushy as all hell

totally infatuated with each other the sort of couple that's sickeningly sweet they give off the vibes of high school sweethearts who have to be held back from making out in the hallways.

Mux is attracted to the mystique of it all. A super genius scientist AND a gang member? She is living the booktok plot of her dreams!

Meanwhile Giblets appreciates her power/status but is also just very infatuated like in general. And he loves how much she loves him. Pretty woman... thinks he's handsome... and he gets to show off how smart he is yay!!

So he shows off and waxes poetic and she swoons and meanwhile she goes and Girlbosses and dotes on him and he's over the moon about it. They love coming up with awful "genius" ideas together and dreaming of the day they rule the galaxy together

And they like seeing the other obliterate merks/muxxalon employees

And... yeah that's the positives, mostly just the novelty and the wow factor.

Between the both of them being... the sort of people they are... corrupt controlling selfish cruel and out of touch... etc etc etc... they do clash a lot. A lot of fighting then kiss and make up sort of situations...

Im just imagining that "pronouns suck" "nooo baby this isn't your heart!!" tweet but Mux is complaining about translator microbes or something and Gibs starts crytyping abt it

Like to get a bit serious both seem like the sort of people who Cannot Help But Fuck Up. Mostly bc they don't care about most others but themselves and their pride. But while Mux is very enthralled by the glamor of living wealthily and all her nice ideas Giblets obsesses over science and how he can maintain safety and some semblance of happiness by sabotaging that of others... and I feel there'd have some moment where it. Clicks that they have this in common.

And they do appreciate each others lil quirks! He likes her Elden Ring builds... she likes the way he talks...

I'm assuming the breaking point would be Mux trying to take credit for something Giblets did or Giblets overstepping in his... Gibletness. Somehow. And then she'd feel disrespected by it. Or maybe their horoscopes said they'd break up.

Giblets is a whole can of worms. Because he's smart academically but near socially incapable and prone to spiraling into these. Fucked up self serving actions that ruin lives and shit. He has the mentality of a fucking Fargo character. So I feel it'd probably be his fault the most in the end

ig if there's anything heartwarming about this it would be that since Giblets doesn't mention Mux during that little speech they ended on good enough terms or were able to reconcile down the line to some extent? At the very least he felt sure she would not try to kill him.

I think it was messy for a while though. Custody over Goimpy Schoimpy Peanut Rendezvous 2000 was a bitch. Everyone was relieved when they actually started being cool w/ each other again or at least decided to leave each other alone.

I should make a little list of every like. Mux-Giblets situation but I will have to brainstorm all the new lows they'd be able 2 reach...

-Legend is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to anything player related. Like, after he remembers he is basically a constrictor snake around them, has to be touching them at all times, he even hisses whenever anyone comes too close. He has had so much torn away from him (including player if, on his side, they had to leave for every in between of his journeys. Don’t know if that’s the case, but it’d be angsty as hell if it was. Having them leave, to coming back, only to leave again and repeat the cycle until they stopped returning.) and he is not going to let one of the things he just got back again go.

-Player must pet every. Single. Dog. They see. Big retriever? Pets. Little angry chihuahua? Pets. Big wolf- HOLY-! Better yet they know it’s Twilight and by the looks on the others faces most if not all of them don’t know. So they get to make puppy talk all they want and won’t be deterred by Wolfie’s grunts or growls because they know he won’t actually hurt them, while they also are completely aware of his situation and why he isn’t turning in front of everyone else to stop the merciless petting.

-There have been times where the player has (begrudgingly) looked up the answers to puzzles online, but they have done it so rarely with the Zelda series because it’s their favorite and they’d hate to spoil anything. This means they are the Loz puzzle pro and can take just one glance to solve half a dungeon, they are just that used to the Zelda formula. Every time the boys are stuck on a puzzle player comes swooping in spewing out orders faster than Epona can run, within a minute they’ve made it to the next room and can continue with their lives. It’s very strange for the chain.

-Player has shown them a cutscene or two from Botw, where in that game there is voice acting. One of the boys asks “do we also speak in your quote on quote ‘games’?” To which player, innocent (evil) smile on their face, shows them a ten minute video of all the Links over the years making their wide range of grunts, yells and “HYAH”s.

-Player shows them all the silly little games they have on their phone, to which the gang get addicted to playing temple run or something and strive for a better score than everyone else and proceed to very quickly drain the phones battery over the course of a day. Player is not pleased to say the least.

-“So basically they are metal carriages with no horses and a spinning wheel inside to move it about?”

My personal experience with puzzles is that they're literally the light of my life, fucking love those things (hate having to look for solutions to hard puzzles tho) so Player happily commits to the puzzles in the dungeon while the Chain is debating their next move.

the closer i get to the finish line of this rewatch, the more i realize how much of the koolaid i drank as a kid thinking fresley was real. it’s not. it can’t be bc fred’s death was more about wesley than it was about anything or anyone else, and after fred died, illyria became wesley’s object of fixation, and vice versa. not gunn, not angel, and not even pet spike, but WESLEY. i used to think it was bc wesley was just always meant to be sad, but that’s not necessarily the truth. wesley was one of the few characters in ats that got consistent character development from start to finish, but when you look at the characters he was surrounded by, it was whoever could either ADD to the manpain he suffered, or exacerbate his assorted mental illnesses. wesley wasn’t always a jaded antihero, just like wasn’t always a clown. he DID get the significant character development, but he got it at the COST of those around him.

bc even tho gunn was the one who signed fred’s death warrant, it wasn’t gunn who illyria gravitated towards, but it was gunn who had to be stabbed and sent to hell to “pay for his crimes” without ever being able to express exactly WHAT those crimes were, when angel and the rest of the gang had committed similar if not worse sins.

bc once fred and gunn were both out of the picture, wesley went straight back to the deteriorating mentally and physically, except it wasn’t like it was with lilah, who was his equal. illyria was a godking, even if she got depowered, and NOT wesley’s equal, and here is back to pondering why his life is utter shit while fred and gunn have been effectively sacrificed.

because if illyria had infected someone other than fred, and in this case, let’s say gunn - would the fang gang have reacted the way that they did? especially if it was FRED’S fault, would they have shamed and blamed her as harshly as they did gunn? would angel have given fred “you’ll live with what you did 5ever bc ur a good woman?” would wesley have stabbed her in a fit of angst and rage? would fred have succumbed to an eternity in hell as self-punishment?

i don’t think so. i think by the time ats s5 was winding down, nobody in the writing team or in the show really cared about gunn like that. all the foreshadowing we got of the fang gang’s deaths were usually group shots, but INDIVIDUALLY, both gunn and fred became narrative devices to propel wesley and angel (even if wesley died in the end). bc if fred’s death had been about fred, the fact that she died WITHOUT her memories of connor would have been more about her than about wesley, bc it wasn’t wesley who was connor’s mother that summer, it was HER, and it wasn’t wesley who killed her abuser but GUNN, and that her core struggle at the end of s4 wasn’t her feelings for wesley, but her shame and feelings of inadequacy about whether or not she was fit to be called a champion.

it sucks bc when you take a look at how things ended with the fang gang, no one got any justice in the end. they all died horribly in the end, and for what? for what 😭

Misilanious Edward headcanons bc I love him

He's chubby as an adult bc he's overcompensating for when he was starving in the orphanage and he has a big sweet tooth- namely pumpkin pie and dumb nerd has gotten sick on raw cookie dough since he's an impatient dork. He's sort of insecure about it but he's never risking starvation again since he's so used to not knowing when his next meal will be

He'd sing to the younger orphans if they were having trouble sleeping from nightmares or if they were sick (predominantly lighthearted songs like Beach Boys songs or other hymns). He'd also read to them as a group before bed every night (he'd do funny voices and everything).

One of the main games he'd play with the younger orphans was a variation of hide and seek but when he found them he'd tickle them and would stop when they answered a riddle correctly ("come on you aren't even trying that one was easy! Now you're just getting them wrong on purpose aren't you? What's that? You need to speak up kiddo!"). Inevitably after everyone was found they'd all gang up on him and wreck him.

The Kids of Bare A Pop Opera playing “among us”

Cause my friends and I are obsessed with this game and someone had to do it.

When Among Us becomes popular at St. Celia’s, the kids can’t get enough of it. They play it underneath the desks in class, at lunch tables, hide it from father Flynn during mass, some are even brave enough to play during Sister Chantelle’s play practice. But the wonderland gang’s favorite way to play Among Us is in Tanya’s room together on Thursday nights, with popcorn, blasting music, and a ton of laughter. It becomes an unofficial tradition of theirs.

Peter: Favorite color to play as is cyan with the crown. Awful at being the imposter, SO SUS, even when he is crewmate. The gang always wins whenever he’s the imposter cause its so easy to tell. Likes getting tasks done better than voting. Favorite task is the ID code and shields. Him and Ivy usually team up, if one of them finds out the other is the imposter they wont say anything. He bought the pet option just so he could have a kid with him cause he thinks its a really cute option. Him and Tanya always chat each other song lyrics to early 2000s songs before the game and sometimes in ghost chat.

Jason: Favorite color to play as is lime with the cowboy hat. Great imposter, can easily convince the gang to turn on a crew mate, usually Nadia, but he’ll pick Peter sometimes cause he thinks its cute to watch him get all defensive and anxious at everyone, which makes Peter look even more sus. Also refuses to kill Peter as the imposter because Peter always gets so emotional over who is going to take care of his kid when he’s gone and Jason doesn’t like it when Peter’s sad. Prefers calling emergency meetings and voting to completing tasks, but still puts in an effort to get them done. In the first round, Lucas and Jason will travel together in order to not get killed off, after that it’s everyone for themselves. Favorite task is the “simon says” one.

Ivy: Favorite color to play as is pink with the flamingo floatie or the sprout. Scary good at being the imposter. She’s really good at shifting the blame onto other people and make the gang accuse each other while she sits back and watches them vote each other out. Likes chatting and voting better than tasks. Favorite tasks is the self scanner one. Sometimes she can get the gang to believe Peter isn’t the imposter just to help him out, but he’s kinda hopeless. Peter will do some of her tasks for her in return by giving him her phone. Her and Tanya are a fierce and manipulative team as imposters, people have a hard time trusting the two of them together after playing. They’ll usually do matching names too.

Nadia: Favorite color to play as is black with the plague mask. Average at being the imposter, usually people can tell if it is her because Ivy is the first one killed. She is merciless with sabotages however, the gang can never catch a break as she chooses one after the other. Very diligent about getting tasks done. Always the first one to complete her tasks. Her favorite one is clearing the asteroids. She likes the chat room and the tasks a lot. She is the only one to not trust Jason with his accusations and is sometimes successful in convincing the group he’s full of shit. Her and Matt will defend eachother if they’re accused of being imposter, unless they really do think the other is the imposter.

Matt: Favorite color to play as is red with the egg or the cheese. Meh imposter. Not as bad as Peter but pretty sus, usually vents with someone in the room on accident. Always the first one to die. It started as a coincidence but now its kinda become a running joke that he never makes it to the end of the game.Really good at figuring out who the imposter is first try and has helped the team win a lot that way. Prefers tasks over voting and the chatting. He always finishes all of his tasks no matter what, his favorite is putting the ship on course. HATES emergency meetings, he gets so annoyed whenever someone calls them.

Lucas: Favorite color to play as is brown, he usually chooses a different hat each game but his favorites are the beanie and the knife. Ruthless imposter. Goes on a killing spree. Doesn’t care as much about sabotaging, just kills and vents at every chance he gets. Pretty good at strategically using venting but gets caught killing often. Him and Nadia are the best imposter team. Between her sabotaging and his killing, they are unstoppable, the gang always loses first round if they are picked together. Gets super bored as a crew mate. Usually calls a bunch of emergency meetings just so he can stir up drama and vote people out, but sometimes just does it to annoy Matt. His favorite tasks are the really easy ones like fueling the engines cause he dosnt have enough patience for actual mini games cause he’s super paranoid he’s gonna get killed. Ghost chat is always lit if he’s dead tho.

Tanya: Favorite color to play as is purple with the devil horns. Plays imposter very smartly. Pretends to be super innocent in the chat and is a master at venting and killing without getting caught. The one thing that always gets her is she accuses innocent people and when they are ejected and not the imposter people know it’s her. Calls emergency meetings only when necessary but has a lot of fun as a crew mate. She’ll follow people around to get them nervous, usually Matt. Watches the security cameras like a hawk. Never gets a single task done. When she becomes a ghost she usually goes around and watches other people play and gets mad at people for not voting out the imposter.
