To your question, my only answer is practice😅 I mean, I'm a self-taught artist. I didn't attend any art schools to learn all the basics academically, so to speak. So learning from references was my way to improve. And loooots of drawing. Don't be afraid to use references btw. From them, you can understand how our body works, the same anatomy. Also, your visual library can help you to improve. What I mean by that is you can study other artists' artworks to try to understand how they draw and what techniques they use. I did that too, analyzing some of my favorite artists and trying to use their methods. Redrawing scenes from films can help as well (in learning composition for example).

Also I usually 'warm up' before I start drawing anything. It's just quick sketches of different poses or emotions.

Sometimes I take, let's say, a random basic reference pose (e.g. crossed legs sitting pose like here) and then try to change it slightly depending on the character or their mood. Just a fun little exercise but it can help to get better at expressiveness too.

In conclusion, practice really makes perfect XD

I finally watched Animator VS Animation. I uh... I have feels. Those are some EXPRESSIVE stickmen, damn! If anything, AVA is a masterclass on body language! But it also happens to be fun, spectacular, emotional and beautiful! So much effort goes into every episode, I as a fellow animator I am measuring the amount of work and I am HORRIFIED! What I think would actually happen if they stole SQQ? Absolutely nothing good for anyone, LBH would Lose His Fucking Mind xD as a more interesting answer though, I like the idea that Shen "Pedantic Nitpicky Asshole" Qingqiu's primary point of argument is that he is not a bride so he cannot be "bridenapped" regardless of demonic tradition or intention!

This eventually leads to them all completely avoiding the Maigu Ridge incident because TLJ realizes that, somehow, SQQ doesn't realize the depths of his son's feelings for him and decides to put all his efforts into being a wingman for his nephew instead because he finds the entire thing absolutely hilarious and rather satisfying after his own sad romance. Obviously someone like SQQ would do much better with his good, loyal nephew than the disappointing offspring of that disastrous relationship!

As for ZZL he just has to assume that LBH must not be treating SQQ anywhere near the way he should be (and like... he isn't wrong at this point, there is a non-zero amount of torture and terror going on here) if SQQ doesn't see himself as being tied to LBH in any way. And if he's not attached to LBH then there's absolutely no reason he shouldn't make his own efforts to seduce SQQ! After all, if LBH isn't valuing SQQ properly then obviously ZZL has to step up because someone as kind as SQQ deserves the best!!!

update info!: I uploaded the boys back before the big update with lashes. So the 'MMSims lashes' and the Kijiko needed meshes are all out of date and need to be deleted. (Here is a link to the updated lashes I used, they are the maxis match set) and kijiko's because they are necessary for the other one to work.
