I NEED to get back into oc f/os. I just remembered my old casino themed anthro shark guy. He never got a solid enough ref sheet (or lore, really) for me to feel comfortable making him one of my f/os but maybe I should remedy that at some point. Big Jack.........
#his name is Jasper Roulette but everyone calls him Big Jack#he's a ''professional'' underground gambler and great white 'card shark'#insists he's an ex crime boss but won't tell anyone what that entailed#well... he WILL. but it's a different story every time. always a lie and often over the top#nobody knows for sure if any of it's true or not. but pretty much everyone either 100% believes it or is too scared to contest it#bc his persona around other casino goers is this rough and tough type guy and he has the looks and talk to back it up#really though even IF it's true he's pretty harmless now. his whole thing is ''yeah I used to do that but I'm turning my life around''#which others are skeptical about but is mostly true. he's kinda just chilling#he's a cheat and a showoff and an asshole but he's more intimidating than he is dangerous#and he has way more money than he cares to do anything with (where he got it who's to say) so he doesn't mind just handing it out#he was the first character I made for a little game / visual novel I wanted to make at one point but ended up giving up on#it was just about sharks in an underground casino#the idea was you could play little mini games and have conversations with them#and if you made the conversation go in the ''right'' direction there'd be little collectibles that opened new paths#but it never went anywhere other than some ideas and a very rough drawing of Big Jack (which actually came first lol)#unfortunately I designed him IMMEDIATELY before I got super into Sparker as one of my f/os so he got swept under the rug real bad#sorry sharky 😔#roz posts

ummm thinking abt big beefy men who eat you thru ur panties, you don't know why he's in such a hurry, as soon as the both of you got thru the door he dragged you thru the house all the way to the living room, pushing you on the couch and kneeling between your legs.
it's almost pathetic how this big burly man whines "i-im sorry" he'd stumble over his words "please- just needa taste you baby" he flips up your white frilly mini skirt and pushes your knees to your chest. ur so confused? where do this come from? after a long day of running errands and now he's so erratic and pent up for what? he takes a moment to admire how chubby ur pussy looks in ur baby pink panties n the obvious darker hue in the center of ur panties from arousal seeping thru the fabric.
then it snaps in him, he pushes his head into ur lower region messily licking your clothed slit, ur body's first reaction is to grab onto his hair and force his head to stay where it's at. he's kissing and sucking on your slit before making his way up to the swollen bud, he suckles on the fabric covering the bud causing all types of pornographic sounds to come out of you. you don't even know who's louder with the way that he's groaning and panting like a dog in heat.
he'd shake his head from side to side using his big beefy forearms to keep you still, "mmhah.. stay still girl." he said breathlessly but sternly before lowering his head again. at this point ur panties are soaked with his saliva and ur arousal but he plans to get them wetter, he presses his thumb to your entrance and speeds up his attack on your clit. not once did his low lusted eyes leave ur pretty face, i mean how could they when you were making the cutest expressions all at his expense! Ur eyebrows pinched together with ur bruised lips slightly parted letting out the prettiest sounds he has ever heard.
you can't help but arch ur back off of the bed when he slaps ur pussy
"ohmygoshh .. don't stopp" you embarrassingly whined, "who knew i had such a dirty girl, hm?" he chuckled before placing another firm slap on your puffy clit. you threw ur head back and gripped his forearm tightly, he knew you were almost there, that's the only reason he tugged your drenched panties to the side n slid his middle and ringer finger inside of ur wet cunny. pumping his fingers in and out at a animalistic pace, "fuuckkk's too muchhh" you'd scream looking down to watch "y'er a good girl, you can take it, you always do." he mumbles against your clit, curling his fingers inside of you trying to find that spot that makes you pop.
"dont stop 'm cumminggg fuuuckk !!" you squealed as ur climax came crashing down on you, gripping onto his forearm for dear life while moaning his name. he'd smirk but his fingers never stopped, his mouth never stopped. he kept going. maybe even going faster. you quickly become overstimulated trying to pry and push his head, but he was much stronger than you.
the orgasm came quicker than the last, it felt .. different? it felt hotter and wetter. his fingers grazed against ur sweet spot one more time and you let go, "nngghh, noo more it feels 's weirddd" you pleaded with a now raspy voice as clear fluid splashed again your stomach and his face, causing your eyes and his to widen in surprise.
"damn ur so messy." he says slapping ur clit to see ur release splash even more. he finally let's go of ur legs after licking you clean, all you can do is lay there with ur brain all hazy n ur legs all sore. "you still with me baby?" he teases as he puts ur panties back in place.
"need you to return the favor." was the last thing he said before standing up and placing ur hand on his bulge.
toji … nanami … zoro … reiner …KATSUKIII + any of ur fav burly men !!

I'VE BECOME THE FIANCÉ OF THE VILLAIN?!
leona x gn reader
synopsis: going to bed after reading a horribly self indulgent romance novel, you seemed to wake up as an extra of the series. what stories will unfold while on a mission to find a way out?
author’s note: this is a mini series. no idea if i'll finish it tho.
[one] [two] [three] [four] [epilogue]
the whirring of the fan was the only other sound that you could other than your nail tapping on your phone.
it’s been a full day now and you’ve done nothing except lie on your couch and read a horribly self indulgent novel. the weather was too hot and the chewed up popsicle stick flung around in your mouth.
I’ve become the fiancé of a villain?! was an all-time hit novel, written by an anonymous writer. you’ve heard about it and the plot clearly interested you, but there were only 5 chapters when you discovered it so you let it marinate for a while. today you found out it was completed, so you sat down and spent your entire day reading.
much to your disappointment, the story sucked.
it was about the main character, roselia, who fell asleep in the middle of class and woke up in the middle of a fantasy world that she wrote when she was bored!
leona kingscholar, a jealous second-born son who wanted to be king more than anything, devises a plan to kill his older brother. fortunately, roselia wrote the story so she knew leona like the back of her hand. unfortunately, she was the betrothed fiancé of leona, someone he took advantage of to execute his plan. when she found out about his goal of murdering the king, the fiance tried to warn everyone and leona finds out, killing her. the novel focused on roselia trying her best to not get murdered and falling in love with leona in the process.
it wasn’t like the idea was bad, you’ve read thousands of stories like that before and enjoyed them all. it’s just that this one was incredibly self-indulgent, with leona’s cold, merciless eyes that turn into metaphorical hues of warmth when he sees the girl he used to hate, the girl he was reluctantly betrothed to, the girl who is now the woman of his dreams. (you almost threw up reading that)
how was this novel even popular? with plans to complain about it tomorrow, you passed out on your bed.
birds chirped and you soaked in the warmth of the sun. you felt incredibly gross and dirty that morning, and wanted to freshen up. heading to the bathroom, you tumbled your way to the door (was the floor always this slippery?) as you groggily looked into the mirror, you saw yourself………..? huh? is that you? wait no, you don’t look like that…. what?!
after much looking around, you figured that this wasn’t your body (obviously) but you were you, and the body you were in definitely wasn’t what you remembered looking like the other night. you examined your face carefully, you frowned. what is this? some sort of isekai? it has to be. but that sounds completely unreal! aren’t isekai’s…fake? you felt way too overpowered knowing what an isekai even is in the first place. most leads in these novels don’t know what the word means at all. you felt too advantaged.
what crazy novel were you reading…?
you frowned until an imaginary light bulb popped up.
i’ve become the fiancé of the villain!
does that mean you’re roselia…?
no, that couldn’t be right. roselia woke up in a grand but empty bedroom that she shared with leona. you… woke up in a boring commoner’s room.
you looked around your messy bedroom, trying to gather any hints of who you are and what you do.
after rummaging through the entire house, you concluded three things.
1. you ran a small bookstore. which is honestly a win because you’ve always wanted to run one without financially skinning you alive. you seem to be stable so that’s a pro in your head.
2. you were just some character extra that didn’t matter to the plot.
3. you were assigned to stock up some books for the royal library. the kingscholar royal library.
from reading the novel, you knew leona did nothing but stay in the castle all day. that gives you a glimmer of hope that you’d see roselia.
the things, there are two possibilities as to where the story is going.
the first possibility is that the roselia in this universe is the roselia that you read in the novel. which is more likely, because it is the story that you read.
the second possibility is that this may be the original story and you might be the only person in this whole story that has been isekai’d. which means leona would kill her eventually.
either way, you had a strong feeling that roselia was the key for you to get back home. and that was the only thing that was on your mind right now. and no, you are not going to be like those other leads that just settle for a life in another universe that does not belong to them. you are determined to go back.
on that fateful morning you luckily packed the boxes of books the day before, or any other day, you can’t recall anything in your current self. but the person who held consciousness of this body already packed the books, which means you should be able to just drive your cart to the castle. the castle is huge and you can see from your window. there should be no problem getting the, right?
-
“…you’re late.”
you huff and puff as you bend your knees. you got lost as to where to go and ended up carrying the boxes of books yourself around the place before finding the area.
“i’m sorry. i got lost.”
“lost? you’re never lost. you’ve been here plenty of times.”
you had no excuse for that. but whatever, you got the job done, right?
the man with neat blue hair clicked his tongue and scratched something off of his paper.
“well?” he said, staring you down.
“well what?”
“aren’t you gonna go bring the books inside?”
oh, right.
-
you weren’t a huge bookworm, unless you count the copious amounts of isekai novels you’ve read. but looking at the glamorous library, it suddenly made you thirst for all books that exists, even the classics, something you’ve tried to enjoy but struggled to fully digest. hey, don’t blame anyone! thou shall not lie, thou shall not cheat aren’t the best ways to use english in the modern world.
as you stack the books into the shelves, you find yourself browsing through the already existing books, browsing your fingers across the spines, feeling each and every gold brim.
maybe this world isn’t as bad.
you were originally under the assumption that you had to just drop off the books and go, but you soon found out that you’re also responsible for the library archive, not like you needed to keep track anyway.
you sighed and smiled. so a small bookstore wasn’t enough to hold you up financially after all. you ended up getting a side in the royal palace of all places! the pay must be pretty good.
you know… as you think back, you remember roselia coming into the library, attempting to find any other information of escape and accidentally bumping into the book stocker… could that possibly be you?
then that means roselia is bound to bump into you any moment!
as you eagerly keep your eye out for the pretty princess, you take your time putting the books away. there should be no problem how long you take, right?
“hey.”
roselia? no. the voice is gruff, and deep. that… no. roselia is definitely a girl… so that is not the lady you are waiting for.
you turn around.
leona kingscholar.
he’s exactly as he’s described. the novel mentions leona’s good looks so much it was practically shoved in your face. but you felt like the words itself couldn’t properly describe his beauty.
he had the kind of hair that gently parts around his shoulders, comfortably setting itself down on top, a sleek, shiny glow to it that is only prominent and glittery at certain angles of the sun, making you want to stare at his hair alone even more.
his skin was smooth, almost doll-like with little to absolutely no imperfections. it scrunched up perfectly, creating deliberate folds across his face as his eyebrows pursed together, frowning. his emerald-esque eyes staring directly at you. he looked like the kind of guy you’d want to make a good impression to.
unfortunately, you don’t look like you’re doing your job, with a book open and a box full of them that haven’t been organized yet, and your mouth… was agape. it seems like you forgot that you are actually in the universe, looking directly at what you deemed to be the handsomest man you have ever met.
you seemed to thank the skies and above for gracing you with an opportunity to be able to place your eyes on someone so perfect that your brain completely lagged.
you had to remind yourself, leona is not real! and you won’t ever see his kind of beauty anywhere in the real world. he’s a fictional character!
suddenly, you felt like you were pulled back into reality.
oh right, in the novel, leona is actually a huge dick in the novel!
before leona fell in love with roselia, he was demanding, lazy and scheming. he was smart, and used his wits for his own gain (ultimately leading to roselia and his brother’s demise in the original story.)
speaking of, where is roselia?
you distinctly remember that roselia was supposed to bump into you and then afterwards leona walks in on her.
it seemed as if the story was going as planned, but without roselia.
“well?” the same voice caught you alert again, and you remembered that you had to act like a normal person.
“oh. uh. hello…?”
you didn’t know what to say. you spent the entirety of the day before in your world reading about him, his backstory and everything else that talking to him as if he’s a treasure box to be unlocked was surreal.
“hello? hello??” leona scoffed. “first, you’re not doing your job properly, snooping around the royal collection and no etiquette remaining at all.”
you bowed down, trying to look as shameful as possible. there was no hierarchical respect for him lingering at all. you assume this is because you saw him as a fictional character first and foremost.
“I’m sorry. I got carried away.”
“psh.” he replied, waving his hand back. “hurry up. I’ll come back later.”
you snickered to yourself as leona walked away. the clacking of his fancy shoes on the glass floors echoing throughout the library. when you snorted, you heard the walking pause then continue again, as if leona heard the laugh but wasn’t bothered enough to say anything.
-
you sat in your chair, frowning, your elbow propped up against the table under your chin.
it has been nearly a week since you woke up in this world so far, and you haven’t seen roselia anywhere.
of course, roselia being a princess after all, rarely ever left the palace, but in the novel, the new roselia went out and about in many places.
after you were able to catch up to the timeline when leona walked into the library, you tried to follow your memory as much as possible and wasted your time lurking in places roselia should’ve been at.
could this possibly not be the novel you read after all? maybe… this roselia isn’t the roselia you know.
you shake your head. your hopes were diminishing, but it wasn’t like there was no hope at all!
plus, the bookstore you ran had minimal conversations, people would browse through and purchase. this meant you had all the time in the world to try and figure out other alternatives.
cling
the bell of the door clang a few times before quieting down. the array of bookshelves blocked your few from seeing whoever entered, but you could hear the pitter patter of rain hitting the ground outside when the door opened. you hoped they didn’t get anything wet.
“welcome!”
no reply.
you shrugged and went back to scribbling down on your paper.
stomp, stomp, stomp
you looked up. something was oddly out of place.
holding the nearest weapon you had (a paper cutter, ridiculous.) you slowly got out of your seat in between the many shelves of your bookstore.
the paper cutter firmly between your hands, you pointed it out just in case.
“who’s… who’s in here?”
no reply.
stomp, stomp, stomp
“I said… who’s in here?”
no reply, but you heard an annoyed grunt.
BOOM!
just as the thunders outside clashed, you finally reached the last shelf to see a figure entirely hidden by the lightning.
as it died down, you saw the trail of blood on the floor under your soft yellow lights and an injured man who stood right in front of you.
before you could react, the man completely slumped to the ground, giving you an opportunity to safely approach him.
you lifted the familiar locks of chocolatey brown hair to see… leona kingscholar. bloodied, injured and unconscious.
TO BE CONTINUED...
an: lowkey really got into the story rather than the romance... oops. if this fic receives well i'll focus on romance on the next part :)

masterlist
Spring had begun. You laid alongside the riverbed, watching stray petals of fallen Wisteria cascade down the river. According to the human world, you were 18, and it was time for you to fulfil the familial contract.
It was agreed upon between your demonic brethren before you were even born that Lord Sesshomaru would be your mate and you were to report to him the Spring of your womanhood. This spring, actually.
You thought to hell with the contract and to hell with Sesshomaru! He could find his own mate for all you care. You never met him, not once, and to think that you were to just walk up to his castle, declare yourself to be his mate, for him to do as he pleased with you was baffling to you.
So much, that you decided to hide. It’s been a week now since you left home and your family still has no idea where you are. And thanks to your cunning skills as a fellow demon, it would take a while for them to find you. You ventured across the land to the Wisteria fields, as you did every year, and hid among the garden of purples, pinks, violets, and blues.
You climbed a nearby tree, your childlike innocence taking hold of you. You wanted to marvel at the flowers up close and personally, off the ground and away from wandering eyes in hopes of a certain someone not catching your scent as the overpowering sweet musk wafted through the breeze and permeated through the fields, masking your scent as the flowers waded in the breeze.
You wanted to be free as the flowers, not wandering or worrying about anyone else, especially another demon.
“Feh!” You scoffed, your fist clenching in pride. You were a demon for heaven’s sake! Why couldn’t you choose who you wanted??
“Screw the traditions!” You exclaimed, spitting at the dirt in your mind. “That demon can choke. He’s probably an ugly old demon anyway.”
“Old you say?”
The anonymous deep voice almost caught you off guard. Looking its direction, you spotted another demon sitting atop what to you looked like the thinnest branch gracefully. A large fur pelt over his shoulder and heavily clad armor decorated across his body. He smelled. . . Regal? And the markings on his face? Just who the hell was he?
You looked away, feeling his golden eyes glare a hole through your silk skin. If it were one of the romance novels you hid away in your room, this would be the perfect scene that a master artist would plummet tot he Underworld and back just to finish. But you? Now? You could care less.
“And what is it to you?” He could feel your sarcasm. “if I were you, I’d tread carefully in regards to who you’re talking to.” This amused him. he said nothing but smirk your direction. When you noticed his silence creep up along your neck, you turned your head to meet his gaze again, only to be caught off guard by his immediate proximity to you.
His eyes, that glare, the markings on his face, the moon on his forehead. He- he didn’t even look of this world! Taken aback, you reached back a little too far to gather your balance, missing the branch altogether and slipping off from its support. It happened in a blink, leaving you to fall midair for seconds until-
“What was it that you were saying? That I should tread carefully when talking to you?” The demon caught you, hosting you bridal style as he cascaded to the ground. With a soft plant of his feet, you both landed softly back to earth, your eyes still carrying apparent shock.
When you looked around once more, you nearly jumped out of his arms. Crossing them over your chest, you huffed, pointing your nose in the air as you caught wind to his comment. Just who was this man?
“My original statement still stands. And as much as I am grateful for you saving my life. You really didn’t have to.” His eyebrow raised.
“I am a demon after all. Such a fall would be nothing for me to catch myself from.”
“So, why didn’t you?” your eyes peered his direction for a moment before quickly darting the other direction. Why didn’t you was the question.
“Enough of that!” you stammered, puffing out your chest while staring his way. “I have to get home. My family is worried about me.” before you could fully pivot on his heel the stranger spoke.
“Which kingdom do you belong to?” you knew at that moment that you were wandering the forests for too long. The markings on your skin were too eloquent to be ignored by common demons. Only those of higher status’ knew that those that belonged to imperial family bore markings on their neck, shoulders, forearms, and sometimes, even the face.
“I- I don’t know what you’re talking about.” he watched you shield your arms with open disbelief. With a sigh, he snaked his eyes from your feet to your eyes, almost studying you.
“I’m to be wed to a princess of a kingdom. A family of Imperial florists, you can say. And they actually send me to find her since she fled the castle.” He took a step forward, making you take a step back.
“I’d hope to assume that you aren’t the one who’s already causing me grief.” You pulled in your lip, careful not to give anything away. With your eyebrows furrowed, you planted a hand on your hip.
“I’ll have you know that I don’t belong to any family.” you lied.
“I am a rogue demon, claiming the forests as my home. And it would be wise of you to leave this once.” He smirked at your response, disappearing into mid air in rebuttal.
“Wha-?” you backed up, only to meet his cold armor pressed into your back. He didn’t say a word, but instead snaked his hand around to the front of your neck. He held your necklace in his large, open palm, revealing the golden imperial crest of a plum blossom. Your family’s insignia.
“Lady Y/N of the East. The Imperial Peony of the East, might I add.”
He smirked to himself, toying with the crest between his clawed fingers.
“My wife, to be more exact.”

Dazai Osamu and the Dark Era: the visual novel (a fan project)
On a whim, I've decided to finally just publicly release this project that I've had laying around for two years at this point, for Dazai's birthday today. It was originally made for my very dear friend @letmereachforthestars , when I first introduced her to the series and wanted her to be able to read my favorite BSD light novel in an easier-to-read format. You need a computer to be able to play. The details and links are under the cut:
If you've never played a visual novel before, it's basically a novel in the form of a video game. Text will appear line by line, one a time on the screen, and it will be accompanied by relevant background visuals, music, and sound effects, to make the reading experience more immersive, and more stimulating than just reading from a book. Some visual novels have actual gameplay elements to them, and some are just books and nothing else (oftentimes dating sims/choose-your-own-adventure novels), the latter of which this is. If you've played the mobile game Bungou Tales/Mayoi, the story sections of that game are basically mini visual novels.
This game was made with screenshots and music from the anime, sound effects from the anime and Bungou Tales and free sound effect online sources, as well as graphics and fonts and other assets from Bungou Tales and other official BSD art (particularly the official anime soundtrack cd covers). The script is taken entirely from the official Yen Press translation of Dark Era, with the exception of about two or three iconic lines that I used different translations of because I felt like they had more impact. Additionally, at the very, very end, I added on the original ending scene from the Dark Era stage play and wrote a few fanfic lines of my own to accompany it you can tell because they are very cringe and don't match Asagiri's writing style.
Before playing the game, there are a few very important things to keep in mind; PLEASE read all this:
I am not a professional in the slightest. I took some coding classes in high school, and have some photoshop skills (when it comes to the design elements of the menus), but for the most part the former wasn't much help here; this was my very first time ever using the Renpy engine, and I made this entirely from scratch. I used my knowledge of playing other visual novels to emulate the kinds of effects and timing that is typical for these games, and I think it turned out pretty well all things considered, but it's still very amateur. This is most evident in the sound effects. The sound effects have no volume consistency between them, and some of them, particularly the gun/battle sfx, can come on very suddenly and be loud. I highly, HIGHLY encourage going into the settings and turning down the sound effects volume (the music should be fine), so that you're not startled by certain sounds when they happen, and for a lengthy time. I wouldn't blame you if you decide to turn the sfx off entirely if's too distracting, honestly 🫠 I am no expert in sound files equalizing and making sound files loop seamlessly, so this was by far the most tedious and frustrating part of the process of making this for me. Hopefully it doesn't ruin the game or break immersion too much if you decide to leave them on (I hope you do, for the rain and clock sounds at least, but again I wouldn't blame you if you can't).
Dark Era is the most faithful light novel adaptation in the anime, but there are still a handful of scenes, mostly fight scenes, that got shaved down significantly. Because of this, there are numerous occasions where I had to simply linger on a black screen or the same screenshot for a long period of time, while tons and tons of narration happens, because there's simply nothing I can show to accompany said narration. This is not ideal, but unfortunately I didn't have much else of a choice in those instances, so I hope it's not too distracting. There are also a few instances of straight-up inconsistencies between the novel and the anime (ex. the fight between Oda and Akutagawa happens in the woods in the novel, but in the anime it's still right outside the art museum), so sometimes what you're reading won't quite match the screenshots I use. Fortunately it's never anything major, but it does happen.
There will sometimes be long, unchanging black screens. Don't worry, the game isn't broken; just wait long enough and it will continue.
Sometimes, a character will get cut off when speaking, and when that happens the dialogue will auto-force to the next line. If you didn't get a chance to see what was said before, check the text backlog/history (in the menu or the H key).
Last but not least, this game was made with the default text speed in mind. Meaning, that when it comes to certain specific scenes, the mood/tone of them, made up of the timing of music, transitions, sound effects, etc, all of it was arranged around the speed at which things progress when using the default text speed. I completely understand if you can't, but if at all possible, please try not to change the text to go too much faster or slower, especially faster, because certain scenes will lose a lot of impact otherwise. If you already know Dark Era, you probably have an idea of some of the scenes I'm referring to. At the very least, during the more high-stakes/intense scenes, please try to play through those all at once without stopping, for the greatest impact based on how I designed the game, and only pause/quit during the slower scenes. There are specific moments that I'm really proud of how they came out, and I'd like for them to have the maximum impact that I intended :') (also note that if you make the text appear instantly, the cut-off dialogue mentioned above simply will not appear at all, and you won't even know to look back for them, so please refrain from making the text instant at the very least)
Ignore the cringe sappy final message
...I think that's everything. With all that out of the way, here are the links for both PC and Mac:

This was a passion project for me for a good many months back in 2022. It started out just as a gift for my friend, but in the end I was really satisfied with how it turned out, despite how tedious and frustrating it was to work on. I've been hesitant to share it with the fandom for all this time because I kinda doubt anyone would really be interested in something like this especially since it's not stormbringer or beast, but someone on discord who tried it told me that I should share it, so here it is. I'm sharing it not just because I'm proud of my work, but because Dark Era is a truly amazing light novel — underrated, in my opinion (yes, I said what I said) — and far better than the anime adaptation, as good as that is, and I want more people to read it. If reading the books is hard for you and you've never read Dark Era before, if I can help just one more person to read it with this, I'll be happy, and consider my job done. 💖
I so desperately want to make more of these visual novels for the other light novels, but sadly, some of them simply aren't possible thanks to how many scenes are missing from the anime, like with Entrance Exam in particular. I've also been waiting with vain, thin hope that Bungou Tales will eventually reach seasons 3 and 4, so I can use their Fifteen and Untold Origins title screens like I did here, if those ever exist. However, I'm also held back thinking about certain scenes that would require some redrawing/drawing additional details to match what's written in the novels. If anyone has any ideas on things I could do to possibly get around these issues, or just thoughts in general about how the other light novels might be tackled, or if you're an artist who can recreate the anime's style and takes commissions/knows someone who does, I'd absolutely love to hear from you! As well as any advice/help on how I can smooth out/improve this project here!
Anyway, sorry for the long wall of text. Thank you for reading all this, if you did, and if you do try the game, please let me know your thoughts; I crave any and all feedback. 💙✨
#bungou stray dogs#bsd#dazai osamu#osamu dazai and the dark era#dazai osamu and the dark era#stomach is turning upside down as i post this OTLLLLLLLLL#not ready for it to get absolutely no attention just like i expected lmfao#can you blame me for waiting so long :' )#if even just one person plays it and enjoys it though........ just one........ i will love you#it's really amateur and rough but i'm really proud of it still orzzzzz#i hope the love comes through....... i just want more people to love and appreciate dark era....... and oda and dazai and ango......... :'

The Sweetest Sylaung
A/N: So I def didn’t mean to write a novel long Neteyam smut story but here we are. Debating on making this a mini series. Also the anon that requested a “curvy” reader insert- here ya go!(she’s also an Augustine- buttttt you can only see that if you squint lol)
Word Count: 6k+
Warnings: This is smut. Pure smut. Please don’t read if it is not your jam. You are in charge of cultivating your own online experience, you’ve been warned!
Pairing: Aged Up! Neteyam x Human!Curvy!Reader
Summary: After an “accidental” romp in the forest, you do your best to avoid Neteyam. It’s for everyone’s good, or so you’ve convinced yourself.
“I’m begging for you to take my hand, wreck my plans. That’s my man”- Willow, Taylor Swift
The kaleidoscope of colors explode under your eyes in endless patterns and shapes as you look over the sample of Pandora flora under the heavy duty microscope. This particular piece of the Moons terra had never been discovered before, only blooming at what you estimated to be every ten or so years, under the right monsoon like conditions
At least that’s what you had discovered so far.
The flower, which sprouted into a berry, and then dissipated into a moss like cluster of microorganisms all within its short life cycle had turned into your passion project. You we’re doing your thesis on it, the last step in getting your Masters.
You’d gone through schooling on a computer screen, guided by the greatest minds on Earth that had relocated to Pandora. Scientists of all fields who you’d grown up around. None of them had been surprised when you’d picked up botany. Xenobotany to be exact.
It was in your blood.
The desk your at shakes violently- disturbing your precision like focus. Breaking you straight out of your zone.
“Ugh” you groan, frustrated, raising your head, eyes narrowing at the culprits.
Spider, Lo’ak and Kiri freeze like deers in the headlights of your fury. Spiders arm raised, a wad of paper balled up in his hand, aimed to shoot. He lowers it slowly as the weight of your your heavy gaze zero’s in.
“Sorry, cu-”
“I told you guys, if you cant behave to get the fuck out” You seethe. Your nerves are paper thin anyway. Too much screen time frying your brain something fierce as you focused in on your studies. “Is that not what I said, verbatim?”
“You need to chill. You’ve been so high strung lately. Come hang out with us” Lo’ak suggests smooth and unhelpful. As usual. “When was the last time you left the lab?”
You roll your eyes and bite your tongue, trying not to say anything to scalding to the surprisingly sensitive Sully brother. “No thanks. I’ve gotta focus”
“Maybe Lo’aks right” Kiri starts, her face screwing up as she speaks “Eywa that sounds wrong. Nevermind, My brother is never right- but you should come hang out with us. Let’s go swimming- the watering hole is over flowing from the storms”
The deep sigh through your nose isn't calming, even though you pretend it is. You know they mean well, in the most annoying way. That you’d been buried in books and paperwork in the lab for the past couple months.
Hiding from the outside world within the thick walls of Hell’s Gate.
“Can’t. This is important, Kir- but why don’t you guys head down there? Its closer to Home Tree and its almost curfew anyway” two birds, one stone. Its a smart suggestion- but Kiri’s face falls, shoulders sagging and ears lowing. That look had always gotten you-
“I cant today, but maybe tomorrow? The samples are too fresh and I don't want to put them on ice…But I think Max made those Yovo cookie things” That’s only half of the truth, but luckily Kiri’s always been understanding.
She grabs your elbow in her long fingers and tugs you along.
The mess hall had seen better days, but the large open space still tends to be the meeting ground for the humans that were allowed to stay and inhabit the moon. With twelve foot tall ceilings and airtight exits and windows that lead out to the Avatar Program training yards. Its a common room of sorts, a place where everyone gathers. For meals, for mismatched Holidays. But mostly for gossip.
I mean, what else is there to do?
Like currently, you’re deeply engrossed in the story that Doctor Martinez’s, Xeno-Zoologist is recounting. All dramatics and dirty intimate details “It’s true, they’re gonna bring it before Mo’at and everything”
He’s talking about Trevino and Eital’i.
Everyone had heard the whispers, seen the not so subtle signs. The main Radio Tower operator had turned during the resistance, had fought beside Jake and had been allowed to stay on Pandora- better stuck on a foreign planet then thrown in a familiar jail cell. Trevino’s a cool guy, really.
A cool guy who had been sleeping with a Na’vi woman, apparently. The two had kept it under wraps, really private. No one could pin down how or when it happened,,,but to go to the clan’s Tsahik seeking a mating blessing? That’s major.
“You’re lying” you accuse in a gasp as the table breaks into whispers, all wide eyes and shaking heads. “They’re going to mate?...How?”
“It’s not like it hasn't happened before” Another scientist chimes in casually. Like it’s a known thing.
Which it kind of is.
Taboo, yes. But not unheard of, more like untalked about.
Humans and the Na’vi of the forest had lived in close quarters since the overthrow of the RDA. Jake, the standing Olo’eyktan, just had a little too much homosapien in him. Yeah, he’d survived the soul transfer and fully inhabited his blue body- but he never quite grew out of his human roots.
It had been hard, lots of politicking and good grace shown on both parts, but somehow, like all biomes in the vast perma green forest, all had learned to live in harmony. Most Omitikaya kept their distance. Very hesitant about the human presence. They had every right to be scared, hostile. Scarred by man and its weapons and its destruction.
Others had been raised in close proximity to Grace’s school. Had become accustomed to the nearly two decade long human presence on Pandora. Curious and accepting.
You’d heard about interspecies hookups.
Locker room talks that left your ears burning and your heart racing. It usually came from members of the Avatar Program- It tends to set a precedent, when the quote on quote “royal family” of the Omiticaya is a Jarhead and a native woman.
Na’vi are gorgeous, tall and lean but humanoid enough to be familiar…you’re not exactly sure what they see in humans but you know damn well what you guys see in them.
“How do you think that works? The…physicality of it all I mean. Trevino doesn't have an Avatar. How do they fuck-”
You’re not the only one zoning out from the conversation and it’s lewd turn.
You watch Kiri watch Spider and your heart aches for her. What they have is secret, delicate and forbidden. As a woman with high standing in the clan, you knew that her feelings for the boy wouldn't go anywhere. Couldn't.
When they we’re kids, it was cute. Now that they 're both technically adults, it was just plain stupid.
You tell her of the fact, often.
Kiri tells you to stop projecting.
———
The Sully Kid’s are always late. It’s like no matter how hard they try, they cant make curfew. You throw on an Exopack, hurrying them to the fence.
“Yeah, yeah okay mom. Take it easy” Lo’ak shrugs huffily as you yank hard on his arm. “I’m going, Y/N!”
“Not fast enough you strumbeast’s ass! You’re gonna get me into trouble, who do you think your dad’s gonna blame when you guys end up back at Home Tree super late again? Norm chewed me out for that shit last time!” You man handle the much taller than you alien.
Kiri and Spider a few leagues in front of you, already at the mouth of the giant fence. They’re awkward, not in their usual synched steps. You wonder how much of that conversation earlier had gone to their heads?
You’re bickering with Lo’ak, an extremely normal occurrence. He can be a real douche. and had been kind of insufferable lately. You think its nerves about his impending Iknamaya.
So engrossed with getting them on their way home that you don't even notice him until it’s too late.
Neteyam is a skilled hunter, through and through. The youngest in the clan to ever make a kill. Swift and quiet. Beloved.
But around you he feels out of his element. Clunky and awkward, no matter how hard he tries to play it off its like you can see right through him. Its scary and thrilling, sets his stomach alive with butterflies everytime. This is no different.
Showing up to Hell’s Gate to retrieve his siblings was something he had done since he was a child.
He’d used to bleed hours away playing with them at the scientists fortress, but as he had gotten older and his responsibilities had grown heavier- he had little time for it. Still, when ever his parents would send him out on a one man search party to bring them home, he’d jump at the chance.
At the hope of seeing you.
You’re arguing with his little brother, trying not to laugh at something he said and Neteyam knows. He knows he shouldn't feel jealous but he just cant help it. Cant help the acidic twist of his insides.
Especially when he chirps out his family's familiar call, letting his presence be known.
And watches that pretty smile fall right off of your face.
“You’re late, as usual” His voice has a stern edge. It’s annoying, the role he has to play. Kiri is a woman grown, Lo’ak just weeks away from being the same. He doesnt blame them for the way their feathers bristle, almost viscerally.
“Ah, big brother you didn't have to come all this way to get us” Kiri reassures, patting Neteyam on the chest good naturedly. “We we’re just about to be on our way”
Neteyam notices the way you try to look anywhere else but him. It stings because he cant stop looking at you, cant pry his eyes away from your form.
“You all should start heading back before dad notices” Neteyam starts. His father had been busy as of late, harvest season abundant and fruitful this year because of the heavy rain season “I’ll catch up, I need to speak with Norm”
“What? Dad cant use the coms now, he has to send his messenger” Lo’ak’s nose scrunches a little, always questioning. On a normal day it wouldn't affect Neteyam so much, just a normal jab from his snot nosed little brother.
Not today. Not when he’s stretched so thin. Not when you refuse to look at him but are staring at the side of Lo’ak fat head. It feels wrong, makes his skin heat up to the point that it feels itchy and tight.
“That's none of your concern. Head back to Home Tree. Now” He doesn't normally throw his weight around. But he feels the need to puff up big in front of you “Those are orders. Get out of here”
Lo’ak’s less offended and more surprised. One of his oh so human eyebrows cocks, a sly remark in his throat before he scoffs. “Aye, Aye Captain Kiss Ass. C’mon Kiri let's go. See you later Spider, Y/N”
He deuces up Spider, gives Y/N a pat on her small shoulder and glares harshly at his brother before he disappears into the thick brush of the jungle.
Kiri wraps her arms around you in a strong hug, muttering about ‘swimming’ and ‘promises’. The small impish smile she shoots Spider gives YOU butterflies so you don't blame the way he swoons, before she’s off behind her younger brother.
“I can go find Norm for you, bro. I think he’s still out in his Avv, but Max can radio him back in” Spider is none the wiser. Doesn't notice the heavy tension that simmers on a low bubble. Oblivious, as usual.
“Yeah, sure” Neteyam replies, barely sparing the human boy a glance. He’d feel bad for it later, when he could form coherent thought. When his brain wasn't on Y/N issued override.
Spider chatters, good natured. He never got to see the Olo’eyktan in training anymore. He missed his homie.
“Well, I should be heading back. You guys have a good rest of your night-” You’re already turning on your heels when you make the announcement, eager to get back inside. Back behind the safe walls of the lab- far away from Neteyam.
“No”
Neteyam who stares at you with all too knowing eyes. He looks straight through you like he can see through your clothes, through your thinly veiled escapism attempts. He reaches out, wraps his long fingers around the top of your arm and tugs you back to him. Gentle, but very firm.
He doesn't have to say it- it’s written all over his face. Not this time. He’s not going to let you run away from him.
“Netey-” You start in a whine, tugging on his hold. He doesnt relent, if anything his fingers tighten as his eyes narrow. Dangerous, desperate.
“Just talk to me” it’s a barely concealed plea, his tail twitches anxiously behind him “I'm just asking for five minutes. Please Y/N”
Spiders oblivious, yes. Stupid? No. He doesnt know exactly what's going on between the two of you but has clued into the fact that it’s heavy and he wants no part of it.
The excuse he makes is shit- he’ll just go find Norm. Yeah… he’s so out of there.
“What is wrong with you?” You hiss as you watch Spiders awkward, quick retreating form. Eyes flickering over the empty for now training yards “So much for keeping it lowkey, huh? Could you be anymore obvious?”
“What’s wrong with me?” Neteyam is almost shaking with disbelief “What the fuck is wrong with you? You havent talked to me in over a month. Everytime I make any kind of attempt you bolt. I dont-” He sighs, pinching the wide bridge of his nose with the hand that isnt holding onto you.
He looks tortured. Tired. Run a little ragged.
Beautiful.
“I don't know what I did? If this is about that day in the forest-”
You sigh at his words, once again pulling on his hold. Shaking your head desperately because you can't.
You can't talk about it. Fuck, you’ve been trying not to even think about it.
And failing as you replay the event over and over again the darkness of your bunk. Hyper fixating on the way that his lips had felt against yours. Oh the way that his big hands had worked your body over
“Don’t” you whisper “Please don’t”
You’d never been one to beg for pity, for mercy but that’s what you do now. Beg him to let you out of his tight clutches. Metaphorically and physically.
“You’re all I can think about” It's a gutted admittance, but Neteyam makes it all the same “That night- I can’t sleep. I can barely eat- I’m falling behind on my duties because I keep coming back here. Standing outside this fence and waiting for you. I know you could hear me over the coms, right?”
And you could, a few weeks or so ago.
When he’d begged you to come out. To come speak to him. His voice so appealing that you’d almost caved. You’d had to turn off your receiver. Had sat with your head in your hands for hours as you fought the urge to crawl to him, knees raw and your bloody heart on a platter only he could divulge in.
He shuffles closer, all lean strong muscle. Firm, unmovable. “You heard me”
“Of course I did”
“And you still left me out here” He scoffs, head shaking slightly as his adams apple bobs, his ears are pinned to the sides of his head in obvious distress “I could never do that shit to you.”
“One of us needs to be the adult in this situation” Your voice is as strong as you can make it. Trying to speak reason on to both of you “We can pretend it never happened and go back to the way that things were before. You’re my friend, Tey”
You reach up, stroking at his wrist. Trying to soften him enough for him to let this go. Let you go.
He’s trying to control his breathing, all that training for all of those years for what? One fragile human girl to make him completely unspool? To lose any and all composure he’d worked so hard to gain.
He was always the adult, in all situations. Had been born with a neck cramping crown on his head. Shrouded in pressurized glory.
“If this is me being childish, so be it. Where has pretending gotten you, huh? Look at you, yawntutsyìp. you look so tired. When was the last time you slept? Kiri says you spend days in the lab without resting”
His hands, both of them, come up to cup your face. Huge and calloused. Yet he holds you like you're something precious. A small animal, a rare gem. His whole entire world since he was just a boy.
Neteyam thumbs at the cool glass of your mask, tenderly. The bags under your eyes are sunken and bruised. “Don’t shut me out”
Your body, in its entirety, clenches at his words. Velvet and sincere. He’s a fucking dream. Your head leans into his hands, neck sagging of its own accord as any and all words of protest leave your weak mind.
He makes you so easy.
“Let me in…I dont want there to be this distance between us anymore” He hisses around the word distance. Hating even having to say it “I want to be inside of you again”
Your plump lower lip gets skewered between your teeth, eyes screwed shut as you remember the last time. Your first ever time being full…you’d dreamt of it every night since it had happened.
If it wasn't for the blasted mask and your need for Earth’s oxygen he’d kiss you. Right here right now. He didn't really give a shit who saw or what they had to say.
Instead pulls you into his chest, lets you wind your arms around his lean middle and bury your chest in his diaphragm. Its as close as he can get you, for now. Makes you cling to him the way that he’d clung to every thought of you for the last weeks.
You wish it was lungfuls of his skin that you were taking as you try to bring yourself down from this abrupt shaky high. You dont get it, how your relationship couldve flipped this hard in such a short time.
He had always just been Neteyam. A shameless flirt yes- but that’s all it was.
“Would you like that?” He questions, hands working through your hair. Fingers light and soothing on your scalp. Massaging the thoughts right out of your head.
“Hmm?”
“If I was inside you again?” He presses on. You can feel the tickle of his long, thin, tail as it wraps around the back of your calf and you groan, digging your nails into his back.
“You’re such an asshole. Stoppppp it” You’re embarrassed and turned on and already feel stupid enough, he doesn't need to rub it in. His chest shakes as he chuckles.
“I’m serious. Tell me you want it-”
“Neteyam! Hey!”
The two of you break apart in an instant. You jump away from him as though struck by lightning. Instantly putting enough distance between you and the Na’vi that maybe, just maybe an onlooker might think that the embrace was friendly.
It’s Norm, having heard that the eldest Sully was looking for him he’d come eagerly.
The smile you plaster on is forced and honestly, Neteyam doesnt fair any better. He’s obviously flustered, just glad that his erection isn't tenting his tweng.
“Spider told me you and your dad are looking for me. I’m not intruding on uh anything, am I?” Norm looks between the two of you.
Your arms are folded tightly over your chest and Neteyam is rubbing at the back of his neck, strong jaw flexing as his teeth grind.
Oh yeah, Norm had definitely interrupted something.
Knows for sure as you scurry away. As Neteyam, always so level headed, has to string together words. Stumbling a little bit as he tries to remember the message that Jake had relayed.
It’s not any of his business, he thinks at the time. He sure didnt want to be the one to shine the light on whatever the hell was going on here. Turning a blind eye to the mysteries of Pandora is the only way to survive the harshest terrain known to man.
———
You dont know that though-
No, you’re spiraling more a little bit as you prepare yourself for bed. Brushing through your thick hair and staring out into space as your mind assaults you with all of the gnarly ‘What If’s’
Norm had seen and he had to know right? Oh god, what if he told Jake?
You balk. Lowering the brush as your eyes bulge out of your head.
What if he told Neytiri?
That's actually a super horrific thought. Like nightmarish. You have a lot of respect for the future Tsahik...
…And a very healthy does of fear. She didnt like humans and made it known. She tolerated them only for her husband's benefit. What if she found out that her eldest son, her golden boy, had fucked one?
You’re freak out is interrupted by static, by the beeping of your com receiver on your night stand.
“Y/N?” its Neteyams muffled voice through the device. You’d ignored it once. You should ignore it again…
“Yeah?” you wonder if he picks up on how shaky you sound through the receiver.
“Tomorrow night meet me at the East Gate. Like when we we’re kids” he’s not really asking. Not demanding either. You could ignore him again, but he has to try.
The line goes silent, quiet for minutes on end.
“Y/N?”
You’re so stupid. “What time?”
You can hear the grin he’s sporting as he replies “0100”
“Got it, over. Good night, Neteyam. Go to sleep”
———
The East Bay is on the other side of the large fortress-like building. It's not that it's forbidden, or anything. but it is deserted. It’s where the military personnel had inhabited, and since most if not all of them had gotten the hard boot off Pandora it was empty as a ghost town in these maze like halls.
When you we’re younger; you’d caught Spider sneaking Kiri and Lo’ak in through the rarely used entrance. You’d demanded the know how, if he didnt want you to rat on him for it. It was a rare occurrence, but the Sully children had all been snuck into Hell’s Gate this way over the years.
You type in the codes, disabling the alarm system in order to usher Neteyam into the pressurized, air lock. You’d toted one of the Avatar Exopacks along for him, they’re heavier then hell but he’d need it.
“Hi” you smile, suddenly shy as the tall Na’vi man stands before you.
That's what he was now. A man, not only in the eyes of his people but as a whole. Broad and muscular, strong. Verile. The next leader of his people. You know that he’s highly desired in his clan. Women fawn over him. Vie for his attention.
It doesnt feel real that he wants to give it to you.
You’re nothing special. Not tall and stunning like the Omaticaya women. Even by Earth’s standards you're short, curvy. Not particularly pretty. Insecurity gnaws at you, as it so often does.
“C’mere” Neteyam urges, boldly yanking you by your waist. Pulling you flush against his body. Grabby and insistent, he wants to feel your bare skin. All plush and soft, hes been dying to taste it since the last time.
Kicking himself over and over for not savoring every bit of your body that you gave to him. He won't make the same mistake again.
He’s not gonna lie, the concrete and metal of the walls inside of Hell’s Gate have always made him a little claustrophobic. But he can't do this outside-
His lips capture yours, demanding and needy from the jump. Big, over powering, he swallows your little chirp of surprise. Devours any and all breath from your lungs. Its messy and so good. You hadn't gotten to kiss him last time.
His mouth tastes amazing, his tongue rough in texture just like you remembered. It grates your lips as you suck on it-
“Hey, slow down a little bit” You giggle as Neteyam paws at your ass, lifting you off the ground until you squirm hard, making him release you “Not here, we can't do this here there’s cameras everywhere”
“I don't care” Neteyam pecks all over your face, trying to recapture your mouth as you avoid him “Let them watch, most of those pervs would like it”
And they would know that you’re his. The thought is beyond heady.
You gasp as his sharp canines ghost over the delicate skin of your neck, nibbling on your pulse point “Please- Neteyam”
You firmly push him away, hand on his chest and maybe if you hadn't cut him off cold turkey he would've given you space. Could've pulled away for a moment to let you say your piece. Instead the idea of letting you pull away even an inch is unbearable to him.
No. instead he tosses you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. He hauls loads heavier then you every day, your protests mean little to him. With his free hand he scoops up the Avv Exo Tank,
“Where to, yawntutsyìp?”
Where too is an old conference room. Its as good as any, and Neteyam yanks a couple cushions off the old couch to act as a brace for your head as he lowers you to the floor, flat on your back.
You’re so pretty like this, he tells you of the fact.
With your hair a mess behind you, your face free of that damned mask. Grinning up at him as you rub your thighs together. He wishes he had that camera that his dad liked to take pictures on. He wants this moment of you framed, immortalized.
“I hate sky people clothes” He mutters as he tugs on the hem of your t-shirt. It hides you, hides all that skin he craves.
“You want me to take it off?” You offer eagerly, raising up enough to start peeling the piece of clothing off. You’re bare underneath, completely. Your breasts jiggle as they’re freed, nipples peaked in the cool air-conditioned air.
“Don’t ever put it on again” He demands, taking it from your hands and tossing it across the room. He’s dead serious, but by the way you're giggling you obviously think its a joke.
He can’t help it, he dives in face first. Rubbing against your soft breasts, obsessed with the way they feel. Heavy, pillowy. He drags his tongue across all of your bare skin. From your clavicle to your nipple. You always smell so pretty, but its got nothing on the way you taste. It explodes bright and savory on his tastebuds.
You let him explore, until your spit soaked and shaking. Your panties sticky as your hips search for any kind of friction. “I need you”
“You have me, my love. All of me” your eyes water at his words. At the sincerity. At how much you want them to be true.
You grab one of his hands and drag it down your chest. Past your soft, rounded belly and into your shorts. He grunts as you guide him to where you’re wet and pulsing. Rythmetically clenching around nothing.
He circles your clit, feather light. More of a tease then anything and you want to sob. You’d thought of nothing but this, touched yourself imagining him. “Tey-”
He smiles around a mouthful of nipple, tugging on with his teeth. “I missed you so much”
“Then be nice to me” you plead, trying to shove yourself down on his fingers.
“We’re being nice now? Were you nice to me when you ignored me?” he can't help it, hurt bleeds into his voice. It had been so fucking painful, knowing that you hadnt wanted to see him. To be with him.
“I’m sorry” you whine, grabbing his face, pulling it from your bosom. “I’m so sorry. I was so scared- I’m still scared but I need you”
He lets you cup his cheeks, lets you plant kisses all over him. The bridge of his nose, his eyelids, his cheekbones. You dote on him, gentle and caring and he gorges himself on your love.
“You cant ever do that again, okay?” He shivers as you kiss his ear, running your tongue along the hyper sensitive flesh “If you’re scared you come to me, not run from me. Do you understand?”
You nod, eager. “I promise, Neteyam”
It’s all he needs to hear, that you’re his. That you won't deprive him of your presence ever again. He doesn't know what he’ll do. He’s a little scared of the man he becomes when it comes to you, you’re not the only one frightened by the gravity of your feelings.
“You asked if I wanted you inside me again? Yes. So much. I never knew I could be that full” it’s like you know just what to say. You light him up from the inside. His fingers begin circling your sopping clit again, this time with intent.
It’s blurry, the fact that your lightheaded making it hard to think. To track what he’s doing to you because somehow Neteyam seems to be everywhere at once. His big body all encompassing as he takes you.
“No-no marks, baby” You try to remind him and his blazing eyes zero in on you in a glare “you know we cant…not where they can see”
You’re right, and he hates it. He’ll just have to mark you where only you can see. Where you can look at your self and be reminded that you belong to someone. That you belong to him.
He doesn't have the patience, cant stop his hands from shaking- the tear of your shorts and panties echos around the room as he removes any barriers between him and the heat at the apex of your thighs.
You cant help the thrill it sends down your spine. He’d…ripped your panties off. You thought shit like this only existed in bad Earth made Porn that you’d found on one of the labs computers.
“Sorry, sorry” his apology is far from sincere though and you can't help but giggle, patting his braids fondly.
The fingerfucking is rough, your wines and moans spilling from you as he hits spots inside of you that make you want to curl up. It’s too good. Too much-
You screech, back bowing as he bends to kiss you, loud and sloppy, right on your wet clit. His big head burrows between your thigs as he delves on your cunt, his long rough textured tongue lapping at the fat puffy lips. The texture difference has both of you groaning.
It’s heartbreakingly good, the kind of good that you’ll never be able to forget. That you’ll crave and need for the rest of your life. Addictive, as he dedicates himself to making you feel pleasure.
Neteyam eats pussy the same way he does everything else in his life, exceeding any expectations. His instincts sharp as he hones in on how to make you lose your mind.
He keeps telling you how good you taste, breaking away for heaving breaths before he reburries himself. The only sounds in the room are the beyond wet sloshing of his tongue lashing and the pathetic noises your making.
He’s eating you alive, you don’t know how you’re supposed to survive this.
His fingers, two and then three fuck in and out of you. Corkscrewing as he loosens your tightness up for him.
“O-ooh” you whine high and reedy as you feel your tummy tightening, the pressure building in a way that makes you feel like you cant breathe. You cant your hips, shoving them down at that perfect angle “Oh, sh-shhhhit. I’m gonna, I’m-”
He doubles down and you’re a goner.
The orgasm is devastating. Sofuckinggood you think you might see stars for a minute there. You can't even scream, you keep letting out these little cries that are more like wheezes. A desprate attempt to get some kind of air back in your lungs-
Which reminds you.
Even though you’re in a daze you wiggle away from him, he hisses at you about it but you swat the top of his head as you reach for the Exo Pack.
You shove the mask in his face, between your legs.
”Breathe, Neteyam” you demand him to gulp down the Pandoran air. Yeah, he could go longer in your environment than you in his but still. Death by giving head isn’t the way you’d like him to go out.
He takes long breaths and you try not to be embarrassed by how soaked his chin is.
When he pulls away his eyes are a little more focused “Thank you, sweet girl. Always thinking about me, huh?”
You nod, dropping the mask. Closer this time for easier access. His eyes quickly zero back in on your swollen pussy, on how wet he got you. On how pretty it looks. His mouth is watering all over again-
When you try to close your thighs, the burning of your cheeks getting to be too much he hisses again. It’s not a sound he often makes and it’s a revelation, he’s so sexy. Almost feral.
“Who said I’m done?”
You’re never going to be able to get over this man “I already came?...”
“Yes? So?” he rolls his eyes, lowering his head, nuzzling at the damp juncture of your inner thigh “You’re still so tight, here feel”
His fingers slip back in you and you mewl, baring down as he scissors the long digits.
“We have to get you loose enough to take me, I don’t want to hurt you” He explains it like you need convincing. Like he has to convince you to let him eat you out. You just re-spread your thighs, relaxing back onto the cool floor as you let him do as he pleases.
It takes two more orgasms that you scream and shake through until he deems that you’re ready. By the time that he begins to slide his cock into you you’re a blubbering, oversensitive mess. You’re crying rivers of tears as you cling to him.
“Hold my hand? Please ” You request and he smiles, kissing your tear streaked cheek as he interlaces his longer fingers with yours.
Humans and Na’vi can fuck, but we’rnt designed to. His dick is overwhelimgly big and will really injure you if the two of you aren't careful about this.
You both gasp sharply as his tip breaches you.
It hurts, it’s agonizing. It’s the kind of pleasure pain that you didnt even know could exist. Everytime you think you can adjust, he pushes in another inch. But oh, how you missed it. Being so full it feels like you’re going to burst. You’re pussy flutters as it fights to take him and you focus in on his face.
It’s all scrunched up in heavy concentration. His lips speared between his sharp teeth in a way that has them almost bleeding.
You can't have that. You tug him into a kiss, soothing the abused flesh with your tongue.
“I-I dont want to hurt you” He whimpers as his forehead rests against yours.
“It’s okay, you’re okay” You hum to him, grasping at his hand even tighter “I love what you do to me. I love how you feel”
When he bottoms out you think he must be in your ribs. Hes still, letting your body get used to him. Trying to be kind. You want to tell him that there’s no getting used to his size. That he could fuck you every day for the rest of your lives and he would still feel just as massive.
“Please” you wail instead “please”
The first gentle snap of his pelvis has you both reeling. Your thighs lock around his thin hips, urging him. You can take it. It only takes a little urging for him to lose himself. The harsh stretch of it has you shaking as your over sensitive pussy tightens. You’re coming again, less intense the the previous orgasms, thankfully.
Neteyam had been so focused on making you feel good that he’d neglected his hard, weeping cock. His balls are so full that he knows he’s not going to be able to draw this out.
You know you have to look stupid, mouth hanging open as you raggedly gasp for breath, letting out punched out sounds as Neteyam pounds into you. You cant look away from his face though.
It’s mesmerizing, all of it. The sounds he lets out. The way that his braids sway with the rhythm of his pleasure seeking body. His broad shoulders, bulging biceps and forearms- you are so fucked.
You’re so in love.
“Please Y/N” He wheezes as you squeeze around him, letting go of your hand so he can wrap both of his arms around your lower back “I can’t hold it. W-where should I?”
Oh. Oh, he’s the sweetest man. He always has been.
You peck his lips, not minding that he’s too lost in his own pleasure to really kiss you back
“Come inside me. Come inside me. Come inside me” it’s a heated chant, broken and breathy by the erratic rhythm of his hips and he buries his head in your neck, wailing in the skin there.
Just for a moment, lost in the haze of sex, you can tell he forgets his own strength. Thrusts into you so hard that you scream out in pain, the mushroom tip of his long cock batters your cervix relentlessly. Its a sharp, startling sensation that you’ve never known but you ride it out for him. Desperately trying to keep your whimpers of discomfort at bay.
When he comes, his whole body goes still and ram rod straight. He hugs you tightly to him. You wish you could see his face. Next time, hopefully.
He’s Neteyam, the mighty warrior. The dutiful son. The next clan leader but as he shakes and twitches and basks in the afterglow you can't help but want to baby him. But stroke his back softly, rubbing the residual tension out of his tired muscles.
He’s your big ol’ pussy cat, you’d always teased. He purrs like one every time you’re affectionate with him.
You can’t help but run your hands along his sensitive spine. Let the length of his tail run through the loop of your fingers. He grins and flicks it from side to side. He’d always thought your fascination with it was amusing.
“Are you okay?” he mutters, still hidden in your hair as he starts to come back to himself and you hum, moving up to pat his braids.
“Mmhmm” you’re maybe not as capable of making words as you though you were. He chuckles and hugs you. Holds you in his big arms in a way that makes you feel untouchable.
The two of you lie in that room for as long as you can, until he has to start heading back to Home Tree, it’s almost morning and his parents are early risers. They’ll look for him if hes not in his tent…
It's hard. Letting him go. Even though you know he’ll be back. You keep pulling him back in for kisses, holding onto his muscular arms until he laughs and peels you off of him.
“I’ll be back my love. I’ll always return for you”
You frown but agree, pushing him away to get re-dressed- “How am I supposed to go back like this! Neteyam I don't have any pants!”
He’d shredded your shorts and panties. Literal tatters of cloth are all that’s left.
Neteyam cracks up, almost keeling over. Thinking he’s oh so funny. It lightens the situation and makes letting him go- watching him disappear back in the forest a little easier.
You end up having to pull your fortunately oversized t-shirt down as far as it can go as you make a mad dash across the facility, back to your dorm. You fall asleep grinning, thinking about how the panties had been a necessary sacrifice.
———
Norms on late night watch, keeping a bored, admittedly not sharp enough eye on the security camera’s feeds. With the rainy season, came an influx of Slinths’. It made sense to have a lookout, and somehow he’d gotten saddled with an overnight shift.
He’d definitely fallen asleep for a few hours. Not that he’d tell anyone of that fact.
There is nothing that could prepare him for what he see’s on the screen, over in the desolate East Bay. First, he thinks that he’s hallucinating, his sleep bogged eyes playing tricks on him.
He rubs them hard with his knuckles, not believing the image that is large and clear on the security footage.
It’s Neteyam. Inside the facility which almost never happened. And he’s bending down, his lips locked with Y/N’s . Kissing her hard and long before she punch’s in the code, and opens the air locked door to let him back out into the shadowy eclipse.
Norm’s learned a lot living on this strange moon- Pandora was mysterious. Full of things his brilliant mind would never understand. So he does what he does’ most of the time.
Minds his own business.
So I’ve had this idea cooking for months, but didn’t have the bandwidth to get it written down. The ideas wouldn’t translate to page and I still kind of feel like they didn’t butttttt whatever. This is pure self indulgence. I am so much more in love with Neteyam now. He is SUCH a good guy. Ugh.
Also, please remember that my requests are OPEN! Send in all that good shit. Come blue alien brain rot with me!

Lesbingyuan au where it’s the normal set up of post extras Bingge dimension traveling into another universe to find his own Shen Yuan. Except the world he arrives in (and is stuck in, can’t opt out of this gender journey) is a slightly genderbent one.
(hidden under a read more bc this turned basically into a wonkily grammatically tensed mini-fic)
Our darling Peerless Cucumber is a 20 something self-proclaimed straight girl with untapped soft butch potential, and is currently recovering from the harrowing trauma of the sunk cost fallacy. She’s spent a lot of time spending money on, reading, and participating in the online fandom of Proud Immortal Demon Way, and she’s currently also dealing with the fact that all her hard work in making herself heard to Great Master Airplane was seemingly for nothing. You see, Shen Yuan had the brilliant idea to create an account that appeared to be a perfectly demographically targeted straight male fan of YY novels who could critique Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky as his fellow but also his better and be listened to and receive great accolades from all frequenters of Zhongdian Literature and be validated for her hate of his writing.
“Airplane’s stupid pen name is a dick joke, I guess I gotta make mine one too… Just to, you know, seem legit and like we have common ground.”
What this charade accomplished was very little, but Peerless Cucumber did become very infamous for three things. One, his nitpicking (“It’s hardly nitpicking if it harms the integrity of the whole story1!!”). Two: his Luo Binghe fanboying (“As a protagonist he’s clearly just a cut above the rest when it comes to soul and wit, the story just rarely ever shows it off”). And three: his skipping of the steamy scenes (“I highly doubt this near identical scenario that also happened twenty chapters back but with a different wife of the week with this exact same cliffside flower giving off the same aphrodisiac mist to Bingge and new wife below will now suddenly be of any plot consequence for the next arc. It didn’t last time either, SKIP!”).
His fervent online activity garnered him the reputation of being an Airplane anti-fan, but also the assumed personality of a submissive simp who hates the easily dominated women that populate Luo Bingge’s harem.
“lol thats why he must like mingyan so much. she never let bingge push her down. cucumber-bro must want a girlfriend who’ll chain him up and whip him! hes a pervert just like the rest of us, just a worse type kek.”
Shen Yuan, when looking at such reply comments, gets shiver-inducing flashbacks to when her meimei left her BL comics out for everyone and the Buddha to see. She accidentally witnessed frightening scenes of thin, long-limbed men pushing each other down, tying each other to beds and cracking whips on skin until they shed blood, tears and semen, the shou begging for the gong to stop and the gong never listening.
Shen Yuan tries to put such things out of her mind if only to preserve in amber the precious, innocent image of her meimei she knows to be true, but also secondarily to focus on the insulted male pride she’s supposed to be feeling after being accused of being a wussy submissive deviant in bed. That sort of accusation requires an in-depth 10,000 character response in order to remain in character as a straight male YY novel connoisseur.
Shen Yuan, as Peerless Cucumber but also as her true self, was undoubtedly straight. Staying in character, Peerless Cucumber made sure to extol the beauty of characters like Liu Mingyan— “She’s an intelligent and cold beauty and is written with a clear and vivid personality! A true equal for our Bingge on the battlefield and in matters of the heart!” As well as occasionally Ning Yingying— “She’s not the boring choice, you all just don’t know the special value a loyal shijie character brings, even if she does lose 99% of her personality to that one singular trait…”
But don’t get it twisted! This is a part of her performance! In real life, logged off and touching grass and breathing fresh outdoor air, she’s your run-of-the-mill average girl who is just a part of the pack.
Her goals in life are simply not ambitious, is all. If there was a competition with ten available spots to win, she’d have no qualms placing tenth and simply feel honored to have participated. If there are ten girls and nine of them bag a good boyfriend, Shen Yuan doesn’t mind being the tenth who gets unlucky. She’s just kind to her meimeis and jiejies like that! As if she’d take that away from them! They'd probably been wanted those boyfriends for a long time!
Shen Yuan is hardly a sore loser, and she knows the great importance of girl code and female friendship.
So, Shen Yuan being the normal average and totally straight and cisgender girl that she is decides to wallow in her Airplane-induced misery by going to a con, donning her homemade Mobei-jun cosplay. She worked hours of her life learning how to sew just for this project to the point her family thought she was finally thinking about settling down and learning wifely skills.
Unfortunately for her ignorant family she’s actually just investing in a really elaborate excuse to cross dress. Well, it’s not really crossdressing, it’s just cosplay! Cosplay is totally different and not about taking on the gender of a character, but their larger identity! She didn’t want to explain this to them, and internally felt afraid and hesitant about it, as if they’d view her as weird for wanting to do this, so she didn’t bother to try at all.
So, Shen Yuan in her 160 centimeter/5 foot 3 inch glory decked out in dark blues and blacks, fur lining the shoulders of her outfit for style points, and wearing a long white wig styled mostly loose but with a few thin braids, chances upon a particularly striking Luo Binghe cosplayer. Not just any Luo Binghe cosplayer, but the best one! He’s tall, must be over 180cm/6 foot but also svelte and willowy in surprising ways. His hair is long and flows down his back from a ponytail ornamented at the base with a thin metal guan. Parts of his cosplay seem very benign, but others seem meticulously crafted and exquisite in quality, especially that sword at his hip! Just looking at it intimidated her, yikes! Job well done, cosplayer!
This Luo Binghe also had the most beautiful and delicately boned face she’d ever seen, eyes dark and deep and highly reflective like that of a lake on a dark and starry night. The cosplayer’s voice was also deeply melodic and enchanting.
This cosplayer… is also a woman! Shen Yuan nodded to herself internally, yes that must be it! No man looks like this in reality, this is a fellow female sufferer of Proud Immortal Demon Way impersonating a fictional man for similar psychological reasons as her. A surge of female loyalty spawns in Shen Yuan’s chest, and she doesn't even bother resisting the urge to walk over and strike up a conversation with this Luo Binghe.
She spat out her name in quick order and immediately started on the topic of female character writing in the novel. The Luo Binghe cosplayer was looking at her quietly and with a heavy amount of gravity, ink-brush eyebrows sitting elegantly low above her eyes in attentive focus. What a good listener this lady is, Shen Yuan thought. She can’t remember when someone last listened to her this closely. She hypocritically chooses to not pay attention to that train of thought any further. “In a world like Proud Immortal Demon Way,” Shen Yuan began with slight smarm, “who would choose to be a woman? I certainly wouldn’t if I wanted to see the interesting parts of the world that drew me into the story in the first place. A male protagonist can explore it freely, but the female characters are all locked away in either the marriage bedroom or the highly isolated harem palaces. Great Master Airplane clearly didn’t eat enough walnuts as a child, he must have some sort of brain deficiency when it comes to writing proper characters— ”
The tall Luo Binghe cosplayer suddenly spoke up. “Choose?” “Hm? Yeah, I mean, in a world like that, there’s basically no choice, yeah? Gotta serve the narrative and readers and all. But the real world doesn’t have a narrative, we only have ourselves and each other to guide us. So we just do what we want, figure it out as we go. Like us two! We wanted to dress up as these male characters from this asinine story and attend this con and we figured out how to do it! We’re kindred spirits, you and I, we’re zhiyin!” “So when you leave this con, you will also choose to take this manner of dress off and wear something else?” “Obviously. Though, my go-to outfit is just a big t-shirt and sweatpants, or athletic shorts. This kind of thing is the extent of me dressing up.” Shen Yuan didn’t notice, but the Luo Binghe cosplayer’s eyes mildly glazed over in irritated confusion at the unfamiliar terms. Nor did she notice the slight expression of planning that developed in that gaze, as if they were imagining a future shopping expedition to find an outfit Shen Yuan would want to dress up in that wasn’t a facsimile of Luo Binghe’s right hand man.
“I… also want to leave this con and wear something else.” “The busyness getting to you, huh jiejie? You must have gotten here a lot earlier than I did, you poor thing. I guess this is it, it was nice talking to you—” “I don’t have any other clothes with me, and am unable to go back home. Can you help this poor one, jiejie?” “Jiejie—” Shen Yuan coughed. “Am I… wait you can’t go back home? Did your ride ditch you or something, aiyah what a scummy thing to do! I do have extra clothes on me, though I don’t think they’ll fit you. But let’s go find out. I guess if I have to take care of you like this, it does make me feel like a jiejie. Your height made me assume you were older than me, haha.”
Shen Yuan laughed, and the Luo Binghe cosplayer rapidly relaxed and took on an easy smile. “An innocent mistake. Jiejie must often be assumed to be younger than her actual age.” Shen Yuan hummed absent-mindedly. “Eh, not really. I’m only 22, and I think I look it. It’s you who looks like a jade immortal, uh, meimei.” She stuttered when she realized she hadn’t yet caught the other cosplayer’s name, and for some reason it felt weird to just call her Luo Binghe without her also LARPing along as Mobei-jun. Shen Yuan by this point had taken the tall meimei’s hand, it pale and slender much like the rest of her, and had been pulling her along towards the public bathroom to make use of her backpack’s change of clothes, walking along the wall to avoid foot traffic. However, the moment she had finished her sentence and called the other one meimei, the Luo Binghe cosplayer suddenly slammed her free hand on the wall and yanked hard on the one Shen Yuan was holding, pulling her in close to herself, caging her in from behind. Shen Yuan squeaked and found herself crowded against the wall. Her back was encased in a warm and dark heat and she could see above her that jade-white hand curled tightly in on itself, heel practically grinding against the wall. It looked like it was trembling slightly. An earth-shatteringly tight grip squeezed the fingers of her still held hand to the point of hurting slightly. Shen Yuan winced at the sensation.
Shen Yuan heard sharp, heavy breathing above her. Not knowing what to do nor quite what was going on, she squeezed back the hand that was keeping hers hostage and leaned back slightly. Comfort is what she’s doing this for, right? Feels like the reason she’s doing it.
Shen Yuan felt the other cosplayer jolt behind her. After a tense beat, a forehead slowly dropped onto her shoulder. Shen Yuan was wearing fur along the top half of her outfit as a part of her Mobei-jun cosplay, but nonetheless she could feel the vague contour of the other’s nose through it, burrowing deeper into its warmth. Shen Yuan now felt awkward for only bothering with faux-fur for her cosplay. But with that face resting upon her shoulder and an odd sense of vulnerability wafting off of her, a sharp sense of broad awareness filled Shen Yuan's mind mysteriously. Her mind filled up with sensory information on the one behind her, naturally taking note of every detail with ease.
“Meimei…” the Luo Binghe cosplayer trailed off, muffled slightly by Shen Yuan’s cosplay, but also seemingly by her own emotions being stuck in her throat. “Can I really be jiejie’s meimei?” Shen Yuan didn’t really know what to do or how to respond, so she simply continued to lean her weight back onto the other. She then pulled on the elbow that led to the hand positioned above her until it was brought down far enough for her to grab properly. Shen Yuan took both hands in hers and placed them in front of her in a comfortable position. They were slightly cold, so she rubbed at them with her thumbs.
The Luo Binghe cosplayer picked her head up and looked down at the sight with watery eyes and a warbling lip. Both of her hands were cradled in that grip, gently held in front of the shorter’s stomach in a tender and intimate fashion. Their arms were bent parallel and their front and back slotted together in a way that, to the taller one, felt predestined.
“Can you, what kind of question is that, of course you can. But, I’d like to have your name too, if you don’t mind? Only calling you meimei sounds like I’m calling out to my real little sister.” Shen Yuan laughed and looked up over her shoulder nonchalantly.
Somewhere in the distance, she can hear people giggling and snapping pictures of the two. She felt a twinge of embarrassment. Of course this moment looks compromising from the outside, they’re cosplaying Luo Binghe and Mobei-jun!
Shen Yuan was suddenly working very hard to maintain a cool poker face in front of her very tall and newly minted meimei.
Bringing up her real little sister and then suddenly being thrust into this type of self-aware of cringe violently and nonconsensually summoned forth invented images of a dog blooded BL scenario that wouldn’t be out of place in her real meimei’s leisure literature.
Fellow con goers, please have mercy on us two women and don't be thinking of what I'm thinking! We’re merely having a pure hearted, early friendship bonding moment! Skinship is very much common and normal between people like us, disregard the kabedon! Totally normal female friendship is blossoming here, get your homoerotic dog blood tropes out of our personal lives!
“This one is called… Qiu Bingbing.” Her voice hitched and quavered with some sort of ineffable, delicate emotion. “Bingbing, ah? Written with the same character as Binghe, meaning ice? And Qiu, is that with the character meaning the autumn season or the character meaning a grave mound?”
Qiu Bingbing hummed and nodded lethargically to the first question and spoke up for the second, hesitating slightly. “Qiu as in autumn.” “What a pretty name, “autumn ice”. You fit the bill of Luo Binghe perfectly, but with a name like that it’s nearly a pity to go by something else. You’re a miraculous find in a place like this, Bing-mei.” Shen Yuan complimented with abandon, eager to make her new friend feel good, and turned around. Still holding one hand, she impulsively took the chance Qiu Bingbing’s still bowed head offered and patted it softly.
She did that for a while, not paying attention to anything else. A euphoric smile opened on Qiu Bingbing’s lips. She was lost in the moment too.
The rest of the world fell away. As long as Luo Binghe, no, as long as Qiu Bingbing can worm her way into every crevice of Shen Yuan, she’ll be fine. He before was always grasping at any semblance of peace and security only for it to slip through his grasp like sand, but she’s found it. She’ll nestle in and hibernate inside Shen Yuan’s veins and she’ll never let go. She will never.
“Let’s go get you those clothes. Good thing I like them oversized, they should be mildly presentable on you, even if they aren’t anything girly.”
“I can live without anything girly, anything of yours will do.”
“That’s good to hear, let’s go then.”

warnings: depressed reader, cryingg, bad thoughts, and sad sad things
a/n: okay how did you pay so much attention to what i wrote in overwhelmed bc i didnt even remember writing that 😭 BUT THANK YOU for the request i literally just ramble what was in my head but hope you like it love!
HOW YOU CAN HELP PALESTINE!
You don't know when it started, much less why it started. Maybe a few days ago, a month ago, maybe a year ago the signs that something was wrong started to appear. It was almost as if these feelings were always there, just hidden by a layer that was slowly removed and made everything more difficult. It seemed like there were days when you could easily deal with it, maybe ignoring it or just hiding it very well, you didn't know. But there were days that were more difficult. It was more difficult to get out of bed, your appetite was barely there, you didn't want to leave your room, just stay in darkness and total silence. Even though this silence made your head spin, it was better than anyone talking and making you even more depressed.
If someone asked the people closest to you if you were sensitive, you were sure that more than half of them would say no. They would talk about how you had a frozen heart, that you didn't cry when you watched a sad movie, that you didn't fall in love with the character when watching or reading a novel, that you didn't care when someone was fighting with you. But deep down, you knew it was a lie. You felt hard feelings most of the time, including when watching sad films. Maybe you just don't like showing the sadness and emptiness you feel. It makes you feel weak, worthless, and selfish, especially selfish. You shouldn't feel this way, not when you had the perfect life: a loving mother, food on the table, new clothes, and expensive sneakers. Then why?
You didn't really care that you felt depressed, you knew that eventually it would pass, just like every other time - even if that feeling came back some time later, even worse. It wasn't like anyone noticed and said anything to you, even though you were sure most of the adults around you blamed it on teenage hormones when they saw you sulking or just isolating yourself in your room all day. Maybe a few questions like 'are you okay?', even though they knew you would respond with something positive even if everything was falling apart. But there was always someone. Someone who knew that it wasn't just teenage hormones but something that was slowly consuming you. Wanda, your mother, was that someone, and she certainly didn't let those details slip.
The first time you actually showed that you were in a depressing state was on a random Thursday at six-thirty in the morning. Wanda didn't mind much in the first moments when you refused to get out of bed, it was normal for any teenager to not be able to stand school. But when you finally decided to show up for the morning in the Compound's kitchen, she was surprised. You had big black bags under your eyes that were tired and red, looking like you hadn't slept well that night and maybe you had been crying most of it. Wanda didn't take long to ask if something had happened and if you were okay, only receiving a murmur of something like ‘'m fine' before turning back to look at the emptiness of space. Tony who was nearby joked “Maybe the red eyes are because of something she used. Don't tell me you snuck out to a party, Mini Maximoff?”, you'd laugh on any other day, even replying something like 'Yes, I did some hard drugs at a party. How do you know?', but that wasn't the case. Stark laughed to himself after saying that sentence but soon the sound of his voice disappeared when he realized that you hadn't heard him and, apparently, nothing around you.
The second time was right after a mission Wanda had done. It was only three days away from you and everything seemed different when she came back. The first thing she noticed was that you didn't run into her arms when she stepped inside the Compound, much less respond to the messages she sent you a few hours earlier. Obviously like a worried mother she went after you, not taking long to find you in your room with all the lights off, two blankets around your body and how it looked like the things in your room had been in the same place since your mother left for the mission. She turned on the light in your room, hearing a soft growl leave your lips. You were awake and conscious, so it didn't make sense for you to want to be lying down and almost sinking into your mattress at four o'clock in the afternoon. She remembered when you were little and couldn't sleep if at least one light wasn't on, now it was ironic to think that you just lived in the darkness and emptiness of your room without fear that some monster would catch you, because no monster could hurt you like depression was.
Wanda couldn't count how many more episodes like those happened and lasted for several days. She was worried, very worried. She was afraid that you would end up doing something that would hurt you, end everything. It was obvious that your mother tried to ask you what was wrong, how she could help you, but you always said that you just woke up on the wrong foot that morning and that everything was fine. Of course, how were you going to tell her what was happening if you didn't even know. There was no reason for you to feel down like that and not even the absurd desire to just want to close your eyes and not open them again. And every day that passed, this dark hole you were in would get deeper and deeper. You knew you needed to ask for help before it was too late.
It was no longer strange when once again that week you had no will to live. You look at the clock next to your bed and realize that your mother would be coming to your room to call you for another day in two minutes and a few seconds. Just the thought of 'one more day' made you want to throw up the food you didn't even eat the day before, as that empty feeling made your hunger go away. But as much as vomiting, you wanted to cry, cry until you couldn't take it anymore. And it was no surprise when the tears started to fall and you couldn't stop. Even though you are not a loud person, trying to keep yourself in your own bubble, the sobs wanted to get out of your throat anyway.
“Darling?” Wanda didn't mind knocking on your bedroom door in the morning, since you would be sleeping, well, not at that moment. When she heard the choking sounds you were making to keep from crying, she didn't take long to run towards your body on the bed and get under your covers, pressing you against her chest giving the perfect comfort to let you know that you weren't alone. “Oh, my love.” Wanda has seen you cry, many, many times, but it was so different to see you cry as if you were drowning in a sea and needed help from someone, anyone. “It's okay, Mama is here.” With each passing minute it seemed like the tears were getting even bigger than before, but you tried to focus on Wanda's heartbeat as you placed your hand on her chest, making you feel calmer despite all the panic.
The lullaby that starts to leave her lips and go straight to your ear makes you start paying attention to the soft melody and not your terrible thoughts. The language Wanda sang in, Sokovian, was not understood by you, but you still remembered when she sang you to sleep on the days you had nightmares. It was as if Wanda was using her magic to calm you down, even though you knew she would never use her powers on you without your permission, but her voice was so sweet that it was more powerful than any of her red magic. Your breathing becomes soft and your movements slow, as if you were choosing the right words to get rid of that moment, but with your mother there it was almost impossible to lie.
“I wanna get help,” You murmur for just her to hear, despite there being no one else in the room with you two. “b-but I don’t even know why I’m like this.” Your crying had stopped, but you still choked to say a few words. Admitting those words out loud seemed like a challenge for you, and when you said them, a weight seemed to lift off your back despite not having yet deciphered all your feelings. And Wanda knew that. She knew how hard you were to avoid looking like a weak person even if you weren't, even if asking for help wasn't a sign of weakness but rather of improvement.
Your mother kisses your head, taking a few seconds before cupping your face and looking at it. “I'm so proud of you, my angel.” You didn't see pity or lies in the expression on her face. You didn't see disappointment and much less as if you were a problem for her. “I'm glad you want to ask for help, and I'm here for it, yeah?” You felt a little guilty when you saw a tear come out of your mother's eyes, but she was still smiling. The same smile you saw when you woke up, or when you told her some good news, or even when you told her a joke. Wanda never wanted you to feel anything negative about her. She never took out any frustration on you, never made you feel bad when you got a bad grade at school, or when you accidentally knocked a glass on the floor. “I will help you with whatever you need, my love. It will be slow, but I promise that the tightness in your chest will pass, okay?”
“I trust you.” She nods before pulling you into a hug that she knew you needed more than anything at that moment. The process would take a long time until you felt well again, you both knew that, but it was never too late. It's never too late to ask for help, because it's normal to need someone to pull you out of the dark hole sometimes, it's normal to not feel good all the time. Having feelings is normal, even if sometimes they are too deep, or too shallow. You just needed to realize that you were never alone, that people around care about you and will always want the best for you.
“I love you so much. Always remember that.”
“I love you too, Mama.”

CHAPTER 6 ───────────────────
“The second princess is hurt.”
“She stood in front of Prince Ian’s arrow.”
The whispers had followed her as Y/N made her way down the corridors.
She almost burst into her bedchamber in her rush. Somehow managing to get Sienna and the attention of every maid and attendant that they crossed paths with, off of her. She insisted that she was alright.
It was simply a scratch, nothing life-threatening.
Her convincing words and determined demeanor were enough for Sienna to sigh and concede, finally allowing her to escape her sister’s watchful eye. Anna had hurried her back to her quarters, her guard ensuring a swift return while the young maid dashed off to fetch supplies to tend to the wound.
Truth be told, it hurt.
The pain was so sharp that Y/N gripped her dress tightly to steady herself. Yet, she stubbornly refused to show any sign of distress.
Not to Ian, his belittling attitude would only further grate on her nerves.
Not to Sienna, whose concern only drew more attention.
Not to Prince Christopher.
Chan’s cold gaze was the most cutting of all, his look of disdain making her feel like a stubborn fool.
“You stubborn fool.” Y/N muttered to herself as she slowly pushed aside her sleeve tenderly to inspect her wound in the mirror.
It was far from a mere scratch. The cut on her shoulder was bleeding freely, the flesh around it red and swollen. She winced at the sight, her face contorting into a frown.
A sudden knock startled her, but hearing Anna’s voice from the other side brought a sigh of relief.
Once again, there was a fuss about her wound, but this time it was just between Anna and her. The young maid’s face was a mixture of sadness, anger, and concern as she cleaned away at the spot. And this time, Y/N no longer had the energy to pretend the pain didn’t bother her.
Anna had managed to gather some medicine in her short search, to soothe the injury temporarily.
Y/N had to attend the Royal dinner that evening, regardless of her condition. Anna suggested they skip it again, but the princess was resolute. She knew that missing the dinner after this afternoon’s incident would be disastrous, already rumors were being whispered amongst the servants.
Stupid Ian. He was probably off indulging in wine and smoke, while she was left wrapping her arm in tight bandages, careful to keep her discomfort hidden.
And on top of it all, Y/N had left behind her novel. She had really been enjoying it too.
Back in the garden where the Nightshade Prince still seemed to linger, had just watched the two princesses hurry off.
Of course he didn’t believe for a moment that Princess Y/N was fine. As much as she claimed. She was not fine, her hurt expression betrayed the truth.
Chris knew the sting of an arrow graze well. Even a minor cut from cleaning it’s metal tip would hurt and sting for days. This was a deep cut. One that came from a distance and at full force.
A princess like her must be in excruciating pain.
But, what frustrated Chris the most was her stubbornness. The entire scene was absurd, but the boldness with which Y/N had claimed she was alright was what truly irked him.
Lying to him with such ease.
God, did she irk him.
As he glanced around the garden, at the gazebo where he had seen Y/N lounge around earlier before everything had happened, his brows narrowed as his eyes stilled on the out of place object.
Han stared at Chris in confusion, wondering what caught his Prince’s attention, enough for him to stride towards.
The novel.
The one she was engrossed in whenever he caught sight of her out here.
Chris glanced down at it, left on the chair where Y/N had been seated.
If afternoon tea had gone the way it was meant to, maybe he would have wondered where she had managed to conceal it. Perhaps he would’ve enjoyed the sight of her flustered expression unable to refute or retort his comments.
Surely Ian’s arrival wouldn’t have allowed her to return back to her chambers. She hid it right under her.
Unknowingly, a subtle grin tugged at his lips as he picked up the book, its title already giving him ideas to tease her.
Then her scowl flashed in front of him.
They weren’t that close, certainly not after whatever had just transpired at this disastrous showcase or terrible archery skills.
Still, Chris found himself carrying the book under his arm as he turned to his young attendant. The one who was almost Ian’s target.
“You should thank the second princess for her bravery in stepping up and getting nicked.” Chris advised, turning to leave with Han trailing behind him.
“That was such a nerve wracking situation.” The warrior guard exclaimed, following behind his Prince who was silent, the novel still in his grip.
Han was still puzzled at everything that had happened. From the tension between the Princes to the injury of Princess Y/N, he truly didn’t know what he should question.
“That second princess is certainly bold.” He added, eyeing the book in Chris’ grip, its cover decorative, clearly not about politics or foreign affairs.
“Too bold.” Chris muttered, frustration evident in his tone, a bitter taste in his mouth.
Han shook his head, wondering why every encounter with the second princess seemed to sour Chris’ mood.
The second princess was a peculiar one, too. If she didn’t treat himself and the Nightshade delegation with respect, then he would have assumed she hated his kind and his people. But perhaps she was just an exceptional actress, hiding her disdain behind polite smiles, a notion Han found doubtful.
His gaze flicked to Chris. But now it just seemed like the second princess simply didn’t get along with his prince. ──────────────────────── The royal dinner that evening was far more intimate than the grand affair Prince Christopher had attended on his first night in the Elysium Kingdom. This time, it was just the royal family and their close extensions. All guards had been ordered to remain outside the dinner hall.
Thus, Chris found himself missing the familiar presence of Han trailing behind him.
Instead though, his attention was drawn to the discomforted expressions Y/N struggled to mask with strained smiles. Ones she thought she hid well behind polite smiles and curt gestures.
Determined to be more assertive, Chris had taken the advice Y/N had given him the night of the banquet and endeavored to make his presence felt. He had caught the cautious yet curious glances from the Elysium King.
Despite this, his focus kept returning to Y/N. Over and over again, he grew increasingly annoyed.
Chris found himself mentally reprimanding himself. Reminding his wandering eyes that the only woman he should be stealing glimpses of was his princess.
Sienna, her radiant smile and an unwavering glimmer in her eyes as she acknowledged him were the only things that should have been distracting him.
The Nightshade Prince suddenly decided he did not care what expressions the second princess would make.
He didn’t care if she was hurt. It was none of his concern. She had chosen this for herself, her subtle pained expressions were her own responsibility.
Yes. Avoid her, he told himself.
Yet, his jaw tightened as he watched her stagger, only to be caught by Prince Hyunjin, who immediately let go once she was grounded, and bowed apologetically for his impoliteness.
There was a clench in his stomach, one he couldn’t quite understand.
Despite Chris’ efforts to ignore Y/N’s evident pain, it was impossible not to notice her struggle.
As the dinner finally drew to a close and guests began to disperse, Y/N managed to somehow send her guard away, claiming she wanted to ensure the night ended perfectly. Although she couldn’t even recall exactly what she had said, the throbbing sensation on her shoulder making her feel overwhelmed.
Once he was gone, she leaned against the wall, exhaling sharply and bracing herself for the journey back to the West Wing and back into her chambers.
She was finally alone.
She thought she was alone, until her vision hazed for a second, and she staggered in her steps. The Sylancrest Prince’s grip on her upper arm steadied her, his eyes filled with both surprise and concern.
His guard, Seungmin, rushed forward, looking between the flustered prince and the equally stunned Y/N.
“Forgive me, Princess. I couldn’t help myself.” Hyunjin said, bowing apologetically, his stance suddenly rigid.
“Are you…alright?” His question was tinged with the same concern she’d seen when he gripped her.
Y/N quickly masked her fear of being caught, composing herself and dipping her head in response.
“Thank you, Prince Hyunjin. I must have just misstepped.” Another lie that slipped out easily.
Hyunjin took a moment to ensure she was alright before glancing at Seungmin then searching around for the familiar face of her guard.
“You shouldn’t be wandering alone, Princess Y/N. Is your guard not around to escort you back?” His gaze then shifted to Prince Christopher and Han, who were approaching.
Y/N stiffened. Here was the man she longed to see.
Yet here he was, the last man she wanted to see in such a condition.
She was going to eat her words from this afternoon if she didn’t find an excuse to depart from here soon, the pain of her wound already making her tremble.
“Is everything quite alright?” Han asked, his eyes darting among the familiar faces with concern.
“The princess needs to be escorted back to her chambers.” Prince Hyunjin nodded, glancing between the Princess and Chris.
His concern seemed to focus more on her safe return than the strained expression on her face. An expression that seemed to be apparent only to Chris, whose gaze remained sharply fixed on her. Suddenly he found himself opening his mouth, speaking before he could even truly understand what he was saying.
“Does the princess mind if an uncivilized Nightshade Warrior escorts her back?” Prince Christopher’s words were laced with a taunting edge.
A tone that makes the Sylvancrest men share a glance.
Of course, Y/N couldn’t refuse now. Not that she wanted to either, anything that would allow her to leave their watchful gazes. So she forced a thin smile and curtsied.
“I would be grateful.” She conceded.
Her easy acceptance unsettled Chris. He had expected her to argue, to insist she was fine and needed no assistance. He expected the stubborn Princess from this afternoon, happily standing in front of an arrow. Yet, all he could think about was how her willingness to accept help, only suggested she was in more pain than she let on.
Chris’ expression hardened.
“My guard will ensure you return safely Princess.” He stated curtly.
Han fell into step behind Y/N, glancing back once at Chris and Hyunjin before they disappeared from view.
While his personal guard was on an unexpected escort mission, the Nightshade Crown Prince found himself under the scrutiny of the Sylvancrest men.
It was a risky position.
A Crown Prince standing alone on foreign grounds, observed by representatives of another nation without the protection of his own guard. Yet, the reputation of the Nightshade and his own Warrior Prince title gave Chris a measure of confidence.
After all, what threat could a pretty boy and his lone guard pose?
Still, he kept his guard up. He turned to observe the Sylvancrest men, noting Hyunjin’s lingering gaze on the path the second princess had taken, a detail the sharp-eyes warrior easily caught. He cleared his throat, gaze flickering towards Seungmin who took a step behind his prince.
“Do you believe we’re being watched?” Chris’ question took Hyunjin by surprise.
The Sylvancrest Prince instinctively glanced around, his eyes scanning for any unseen observers who might be keeping an eye on them, an idea Chris wouldn’t put past the Elysium court. Even though Chris himself didn’t sense a specific presence lurking in the shadows, one can never be too cautious.
“I would not be surprised if we were. We are just visitors who are neither friends nor foe.” Hyunjin stated, The three men fell into a steady pace, with Seungmin trailing a few steps behind.
“Nightshade has never been a friend to this kingdom, and I doubt it ever will be. We might as well be considered foes. Surely the wary gazes and guarded stance of the royal family haven’t escaped your notice, Prince Hyunjin.” Chris remarked, his tone even and matter-of-fact.
Hyunjin did not respond to confirm, yet his silence was confirmation in itself.
“The Elysium King is untrustworthy…” Chris continued, his eyes tracking Hyunjin’s reaction, gauging whether it was a shared observation.
“This whole celebration seems like a front. Any competent person would come to a similar conclusion.” His tone remained casual, as if discussing something trivial rather than making potentially inflammatory comments about a foreign kingdom on its own soil.
Hyunjin blinked in surprise, his gaze shifting to Seungmin before returning to Chris. A surprised look that reminded the warrior prince of Y/N. From the night of the royal banquet, back in the garden.
Chris’ friendly demeanor faded, replaced by a more serious expression.
“You are a Prince. A representative of Sylvancrest. You should not be wary of speaking your mind on Elysium’s soil. Because you are not beneath them.” Chris stated, his words curt, yet full of sense.
Truth be told, Chris found himself slightly irritated by the Sylvancrest Prince’s overly polite demeanor towards the Elysium royals, especially given their dismissive behavior towards him. He recalled the tea time where Ian barely acknowledged Hyunjin’s presence.
Perhaps it was in Hyunjin’s nature.
Perhaps his rank as the fourth prince hadn’t hardened him like it would if he were to be the heir apparent.
Despite this, Chris noticed that his words had affected Hyunjin, the way he looked at him wasn’t unfriendly.
Meanwhile, Han was uncertain about the purpose behind his Prince’s decision to send him as a shadow to Princess Y/N.
Perhaps Chris sought deeper insight into her. Or perhaps he was driven by a sudden curiosity, a suspicion sparked by the afternoon’s events.
The Nightshade guard studied the second princess, who carried herself gracefully with every step.
“I truly hope you are enjoying your stay here, Sir Han.” Her words cut through his observing gaze, making him blink.
“Y-yes. I’ve learnt a lot in the past few days about the Elysium Kingdom.” He was polite.
She truly did not need to make small talk with him. Here, even now, she clearly took her duty with importance.
There was nothing outwardly suspicious about her. Aside from the slight sharp intake of breath betraying her pain, she appeared poised and competent.
Han’s gaze softened as he watched her from his position behind. He suddenly felt a pang of sympathy for her.
For the things he’s overheard, overseen.
She was rumored to be a princess, guarded and sheltered.
Yet she wasn’t a weak princess, and neither was she guarded or sheltered. She was simply…forgotten, it seemed.
But Princess Y/N was a competent princess. Perhaps even more so than his Prince’s princess, he had to admit.
An observation that Y/N was never able to make herself.
After returning to his guest chambers, the Nightshade Prince found himself deep in contemplation.
Chris didn’t realize how deeply today’s events would affect him, and it frustrated him.
He had witnessed injuries before. He had seen blood, even watched warriors get pierced by arrows, slashed by swords during training sessions, hunting trips, in the White Mountains. Yet, Y/N’s pained expression, which she tried so hard to conceal amid the dinner’s bustle, kept flashing before his eyes, gnawing at his thoughts.
He shouldn’t be this worried about some foreign princess.
A scowling princess who clearly had a distaste for him.
A stubborn princess who chose to put herself in danger.
A rival princess who was nothing like the woman he’d given his heart to.
The woman who he had given his heart to…
Suddenly the memory of Y/N sitting in the garden, reclining beneath the gazebo, absentmindedly toying with her earring while absorbed in her novel, resurfaced in his mind.
Prince Christopher inhaled deeply.
“Get yourself together Chan.” He muttered, fingers gripping at the crystal bird tightly, shutting his eyes to recall Sienna and her graceful smile.
For the first time in quite a while, he pained to meet his princess, the woman he loved. For the first time he had to remind himself to picture her image. To rid him from the thoughts of another, whose pain seemed to plague his mind.
He had resolved that night that the Second Princess would no longer be a concern for him.
However, even his own thoughts seemed to betray him.
Chris had always been adept at sneaking past guards and gates. But with his grueling training and experience, his secret ventures were bolder than simply infiltrating the Queen’s palace grounds.
Only hours later, the foreign prince was committing a crime that would have dire consequences if he were to get caught. Suddenly finding himself wandering in the cool of the night.
He was sure Minho had spotted him on his exit out. He was sure the Midnight Captain would find Han, his guard would be waiting for him upon his return with that frustrated expression that made Chris feel guilty. Still, he continued his self-appointed mission.
The Nightshade Prince scanned the darkness around him, ensuring he remained unseen, though confident there was no one nearby to catch him anyway.
He moved with practiced stealth, scaling the tree outside the balcony with ease. The soldiers patrolling the West Wing Palace were distant, making it a straightforward task for the warrior prince. His movements up the branches were swift and silent, finding secure footholds until he reached a vantage point near the balcony’s stone railing.
From there, he could see into her room.
The bedchamber of the second Princess.
The curtains were pulled back, which allowed dim moonlight to filter through, casting a soft glow inside.
His brows relaxed as he caught sight of her.
His eyes focused on Y/N’s silhouette standing before a large mirror, a faint grimace on her face. It seemed he had arrived at the right moment.
Although somewhere in his mind he knew that nothing about this was right.
Princess Y/N delicately adjusted the fabric of her nightdress. There was a messy heap of bandages splayed on the dresser, a scissor ready to trim to the amount she needed. Chris continues to watch with a look of wonder on his face.
It was fascinating almost, to see a sight of a woman so exposed for the first time in his life. Yet he was painfully aware of how disgusting this was. How perverse his presence here seemed, even if his intentions were not so.
It was wrong of him to watch a maiden in the privacy of her chambers, dressed in nothing but her nightwear.
It was wrong to watch a princess from outside her balcony.
Yet, an inexplicable draw kept him rooted in place, captivated by the sight before him.
The Second Princess seemed to have that constant effect on him.
She hissed in pain as she inspected her injury, her brows furrowing in frustration. The sound of her low voice pierced the quiet of the night, out into the night, snapping Chris back to reality. Reminding him that he was here with a purpose.
He focused on the still-bloody wound on her shoulder, his concern growing palpable.
Without hesitation, he leaped from the tree branch onto the balcony railing, his strong hands effortlessly pulling himself up onto the flat surface.
The sudden movement caught her attention. Her eyes widened in shock as she glimpsed at his figure in the reflection of the mirror. For a moment, their gazes locked in mutual surprise.
Despite the intrusion, Y/N didn’t scream. Instead, she swiftly spun around on her heels, her hands frozen around the sleeve of her nightdress, ready to confront her unexpected visitor.
“Y-your highness!” She exclaimed in a shocked whisper, instinctively trying to cover herself, which inadvertently caused herself more pain as she grazed the injured spot, followed by soft, painful hisses.
Chris took swift steps forward, entering her quarters through the open balcony. His hand extended to offer assistance, but froze midway. Realizing.
Their eyes met in the dimly lit room, both acutely aware of the impropriety of the situation. The potential consequences, if her chambermaid, or one of her mother’s attendants or even her guard were to walk in unexpectedly.
Yet, in that moment, Chris couldn’t tear his gaze away from the wound on her shoulder. Formalities and protocol faded into insignificance.
Chris could not convince himself to take a step back.
“Let me help you, at least listen to me once.” He emphasized before she could boldly reject like she had in the afternoon.
“No. It isn’t right.” She whispered. “You shouldn’t be here. What if someone catches you, or-or what if my mai—“
“No one will find out.” He cut her off, paranoia still strong in her expression.
“I’m a warrior. I can hear footsteps from miles away, did you forget?” He cocked his head with a somewhat smug smile.
It seemed to be enough to sort of calm her, though she was doubtful about the “miles away” part.
Slowly, Y/N lowered her hands from her injured shoulder, her arms falling to her sides as she nodded hesitantly. Chris pressed his lips together in determination and took a hesitant step closer. Then another one, until he was close enough to graze his hand against the fabric of her nightgown. She stiffened, yet allowed him to continue.
Chris’ fingers delicately grasped the sleeve of her nightdress and gently pushed it down, ensuring not to hurt her, exposing the injured skin underneath. She shivered involuntarily as his cold fingers made contact with her warm flesh.
His eyes shoot to study her delicate expression before settling back on the cut. The intimacy of their position was palpable, a situation that could spark scandal if they were discovered. Yet all Christ saw was an injured bunny, shivering under his touch.
His calloused fingers grazed soft, and surprisingly gentle, brows knitting at the sight of her raw wound.
Though it was just a graze from the metal tip of the sharp arrowhead, it didn’t mean it wasn’t painful. He sighed, bringing the satchel that hung lowly around his torso forward, and rummaging through it. Her eyes stared in wonder, the Prince had come prepared.
“We have to clean it before applying anything on it.” Chris muttered quietly, almost to himself, as he focused on the task at hand.
She watched him with a mixture of amusement and awe, a faint blush coloring her cheeks at the anticipation of his fingers touching her skin again, warm and gentle. Y/N trusted Chris. More than she let on.
Perhaps even with her life.
His jaw tightened with concentration as he applied antiseptic to a piece of gauze, before bringing it towards her injury.
“It’ll sting a bit.” He warned, his eyes flickering from the inujury to her observant gaze.
“I’ll manage.” She replied briskly, but of course her resolve faltered with a sharp intake of breath as the antiseptic made contact with her wound.
Chris’ expression softened briefly, a flicker of empathy crossing his features. He had tried to spare her this discomfort, he had attempted to prevent her from even standing against Ian, but she had stubbornly refused.
Chris wrestled with conflicting emotions as he tended to her wound. He couldn’t shake the sense of anger simmering within him.
How could the Crown Prince, responsible for the safety of his people, jeopardize them for what seemed like amusement?
How can the princess be so reckless, allowing herself to get hurt in such a stupid way?
These were just some of the thoughts that plagued his mind ever since the incident. Ever since he could only see her and only her, afterwards. Chris was sure if he didn’t sneak in here he would have dreamt of her and her damn injury.
And now, here he was, in the private chambers of a princess, risking her reputation and his own standing.
Chris resented how she stirred this protective instinct in him. Her seemingly carefree attitude towards the dangers surrounding her, only fueled his frustration.
He took a deep breath, trying to quell his anger. Or the thoughts that question what he was even doing here in the first place.
Perhaps it was his sense of duty and compassion, the healer within him, that compelled him to act despite the risks.
A Nightshade warrior. A Nightshade healer. A leader, a protector.
Yes, that was it.
With a frown, he pulled back the handkerchief that had cleaned off most of the dried blood from her wound. Still gentle actions amidst the frustration that bubbled in him.
Princess Y/N glanced at it briefly before he disposed of the soiled cloth and continued searching through his bag.
“This salve is used by soldiers in the training field.” He stated, pulling out a small container.
Uncapping it revealed a pale green cream that Chris doesn’t hesitate to swipe onto his fingers.
“It has a numbing agent that will help you at least get a good night’s rest, and if you apply it throughout the day, will quicken the recovery process.” His explanations helped the quiet girl, still in his loose grasp.
But that was not what the princess was wondering.
“Why did you suddenly show up at this ungodly hour to apply medicine on my wound?” Her gaze was peering, his eyes flickered between the cream and her before he took a closer step.
An action that makes her straighten, reminding herself of their close proximity, something he was seemingly unbothered by.
“An injury from an arrow can kill even a warrior of Nightshade, and you’re just a princess.” He stated matter-of-factly.
It was true, but it wasn’t the entire truth behind his forbidden presence here.
Chris could never admit that her injury had weighed on his mind all evening, that her pained expression had haunted him whenever he attempted to close his eyes to finally sleep. He would of dreamt of her, he was sure of it.
Y/N remained quiet, absorbing his care and concern despite the…unconventional circumstances.
Gently smoothing the salve onto her wound, Chris ensured it covered every side, his touch careful. Y/N watched him silently, feeling the soothing coolness of the salve easing the burning pain she had endured, the pads of his fingers grazing ever so gently.
Chris glanced up at her face, noticing the pallor of her lips and the signs of cold sweat on her brow. It was clear she was suffering, possibly even beginning to develop a fever from bearing the pain. Despite her discomfort, she hadn’t uttered a single complaint.
Anger flared within Chris anew, as if every time he discovered a new side of her discomfort, the angrier he got.
His frustration was not just at the situation but also at her stubborn resilience. She bore the pain quietly, refusing to acknowledge her own distress.
It irked him that she seemed to endure such hardships without protest, as if she didn’t value her own well-being enough to seek help sooner.
He wanted to scold her. To nag at her for her risky decisions. Yet he was in no place to do any of that.
Everything she did irritated him, sticking to his thoughts like a parasite.
But as he continued to apply the salve, his touch slight and caring, he also felt a twinge of admiration for that same stubborn resilience. She may have been a princess, sheltered from many hardships, but she possessed a bravery that deserved respect. Something even some Nightshade Warriors lacked prior to any formal training.
His conflicting emotions simmered beneath the surface as he finished treating her wound, silently hoping the salve would bring her some relief.
“How did you get up here?” Y/N’s voice carried more volume now, her initial anxiety giving way to curiosity.
Chris blinked, momentarily taken aback by her direct question that brought him out his thoughts. He shifted his focus from her questioning eyes, to the open balcony behind him, where he had entered her chambers.
“I climbed.” He replied curtly, as he placed the jar of salve on the table, which had now become a makeshift first aid station.
Chris picked up the string of bandages, preparing to tend to her wound further. While Y/N raised a skeptical eyebrow, a gesture she would have emphasized with crossed arms she wasn’t injured.
“That doesn’t help dispel rumors of the Bahng being beasts in the night.” The curious princess muttered to herself, though her words were clear enough for him to hear.
Chris paused, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips despite the seriousness of the situation.
He suddenly recalled her novel, its cheesy title.
Her comment only made him think about the teasing thoughts that crossed his mind once he picked up the book that currently sat on the dresser in his room. Her comment was innocent, yet he raised a brow.
A prince sneaking into a princess’s chambers was indeed scandalous.
“I know I bragged about coming from a romantic clan, but I assure you, I’m not truly a beast.” He remarked lightly, his gaze meeting hers with tease and amusement.
Of course she understood, the look in his eyes a clear giveaway. There was a flush of heat rising to Y/N’s cheeks as she realized the implication of Chris’ words.
“T-That’s not what I mean—” She started to clarify, but Chris broke into a small chuckle at her innocent reaction.
A sound that made the second princess stare at him, momentarily stunned by the unexpected sight of his smile. She had forgotten how his smile looked up close after all these years.
Had he always had that prominent of dimples?
And was his smile always this captivating?
In recent days, she had seen him smile, but none of those smiles had been directed at her.
A pang of longing squeezed her chest, and she quickly averted her gaze from his face.
Chris sensed the shift in her mood but didn’t comment on it. Instead, he gently began wrapping the bandage around her shoulder, his touch tender and comforting.
“Our clan learned from the beasts of the night, so the rumors aren’t entirely untrue. Besides who wouldn’t want to be compared to a ferocious creature, just the thought of it is enough to scare away enemies.” He stated matter-of-factly.
She nodded, amazed at the way he thinks. And even more so amazed that she was no longer feeling the stinging pain on her shoulder. That salve was absolute magic.
“It doesn’t hurt!” She remarked in surprise, her wide fascinated eyes fixed on him as if seeking confirmation.
Chris couldn’t help but be reminded of his earlier comparison, seeing her now as a small rabbit in the presence of a supposed beast. He managed to contain another chuckle.
“I told you, it has a numbing agent. That means it’s working.” He explained with a gentle smile, his eyes meeting hers warmly.
As Chris finally finished wrapping Y/N’s shoulder and trimmed off the excess bandage, he stepped back, his hands finally dropping to his sides. He inspected his work, reassured that the bandaging would suffice to ease his concerns about her injury, thoughts that might otherwise have kept him awake all night.
A brief silence settled between them. A silence that stretched as they stood their almost awkward all of a sudden. Y/N swiftly pulled her sleeve back up, a gesture that underscored the impropriety of their encounter, all over again. Chris cleared his throat, breaking the silence, while Y/N turned slightly, suddenly self-conscious of her attire.
“Remember, apply the salve throughout the day.” Chris reminded her softly, pressing his lips into a thin smile as he gestured towards the ointment on the table.
As Chris turned to head back towards the balcony, Y/N’s voice stopped him in his tracks.
“Wait—are you going to jump? From here?!” Her shock was evident, as if she had momentarily forgotten their conversation about the Nightshade Warriors mimicking beastly tactics.
“Well, I can’t exactly go out the front door now, can I? Should I get caught and confess about our nightly rendezvous?” Chris teased, his tone playful and light-hearted.
Taken aback by his cheeky response, Y/N quickly composed herself, standing straight and bowing her head slightly.
“Please, Your Highness, please jump off my balcony. Y/N replied with mock formality, adding a dramatic curtsy for emphasis.
This time, Chris couldn’t contain the smile that spread across his lips. He let his head drop slightly to hide it, clearing his throat before responding in mock seriousness.
“That was the plan. Now, goodnight, Princess. I hope you feel better in the morning.” He nodded, turning around and preparing to jump down from the balcony. Which he does, his descent from the stone rails almost graceful.
Y/N gasped as Chris jumped from her balcony, despite knowing his intention. She hurried to the edge and peered down anxiously, watching him land easily on a large branch of the tree and then onto the lush grass below. He glanced up at her, a smirk dancing on his lips, before disappearing into the darkness of the night.
Breathing a sigh of relief, Y/N scanned her surroundings, ensuring there was indeed no one else nearby.
A torrent of emotions flooded her mind. From the moment he had snuck into her room to now, she had witnessed different facets of this warrior prince who had always been aloof and curt towards her and the rest of the royals and nobles, except her sister. It saddened her to think that Sienna received his charming smiles and intense gazes.
Why couldn’t she just tell him how she felt? About who she truly was.
Why couldn’t he recognize her? Connect the dots as easily as he caught onto other things.
Bitterness welled up inside her.
Y/N turned back to her room, her heart heavy with unspoken words and unresolved feelings. The night had brought them closer in unexpected ways, yet the divide between them seemed insurmountable.
With a heavy heart, the second princess closed the balcony doors behind her. The night air was cool as Chris climbed through the window back into his room at Ruby Hall. Like he had concluded, his personal guard paced his quarters.
Ever dutiful and ever exasperated, stilled with surprise once he caught sight of the sheepish expression on Chris’ face, his own expression a mix of concern and annoyance.
“My Prince, please. You must stop doing this to me.” Han pleaded quietly, his voice a mixture of fatigue and annoyance.
Chris, still smirking from his successful escapade, undid the ties of his dark blouse and settled on the edge of his bed.
“I was quick.” He chuckled smugly, clearly pleased with himself.
Han groaned, even in foreign palaces this prince of his has no fear of wandering off. The guard almost lost it when Minho had shown up in the dark of his room to notify him of Prince Christopher’s… nightly excursion.
Yet he leaned back, eyeing the bag of supplies Chris had dropped on the dresser.
“You can return now, you’ve done a good job.” Chris remarked pointedly.
“I always do a good job.” Han retorted, but his gaze was back on the satchel.
“Don’t tell me you snuck out to meet Princess Sienna and exchange desserts at this hour of the night!” Han exclaimed, his exhaustion making his tone more exasperated than accusatory.
These days he recalled the two royals had grown closer, exchanging foods and desserts, kindling a friendship perhaps over tea, much like they did as children. Though it would still be inappropriate to choose now of all times for small talk and tea.
However, while the guard pondered his thoughts, the Nightshade Prince stiffened at the remark. Chris’ smile faltered, and his eyes widened slightly as a sudden realization took hold.
Sienna.
His Princess.
The first princess, who he had forgotten all about.
A sudden dryness gripped his throat, and had Han not called his name to bring him out of his thoughts, he probably would have figured out why that was.
“Did you really go to see her?” Han pressed once more.
Chris shook his head, as if shaking away the anxious thoughts.
“That would be very inappropriate. I’m a Prince, I would never sneak around to meet a princess in the middle of the night.” He lied smoothly because that’s exactly what he did.
“Besides, Princess Sienna doesn’t remember me yet. It would probably be more than a little weird, possibly even terrifying, if I showed up out of the blue with cookies.”
Han sighed deeply, his worry evident despite his master’s casual demeanor.
“Just, next time, please let me know before prancing off.” He requested once again, resigned to the fact that Chris would continue with his antics regardless.
As Han exited the room, he stood for a moment outside the closed doors, his mind racing. The faint scent of medicine still lingered in the air, from his prince, sparking his curiosity further. He knew Chris well enough to sense when something was amiss.
Han could only think of one person who was injured enough for his prince to offer medicine.
His prince did sneak off to see a Princess.
Though she was not the one who he claimed to love. ──────────────────────── The Sylvancrest Prince found himself unexpectedly seated in the King’s personal study, facing the Elysium King himself.
The situation was nerve-wracking. Seungmin had been left behind at the study’s threshold, while Hyunjin had been led through the grand corridors by a stern King’s guardsman. Now, he sat in the suffocating silence that had settled between them.
Finally, the King cleared his throat and gestured to the liquor set between them, which a servant had placed upon his arrival.
“It’s quite late, Your Majesty.” Hyunjin declined politely, feeling an internal urge to stay sober for whatever purpose had brought him here.
“Was there something particular you needed from me?” He asked.
A smile spread across the Elysium King’s face, almost eerie in its intent, hinting at something concealed beneath the surface. The King reached for his glass, took a sip, and then leaned back in his chair.
“The Sylvancrest Kingdom has indeed become a thriving nation, prospering these days. But how long do you think this prosperity will last?” He began, causing Prince Hyunjin to raise an eyebrow, puzzled by the direction of the conversation.
“Sylvancrest boasts about grand seaports and vital trade routes. As a leader who values trade and business myself, I must tell you that maritime trade has its limitations.” The Elysium King continued.
Hyunjin cleared his throat, trying to manage his growing frustration. Suddenly he recalled Prince Christopher’s words from earlier that evening.
“Forgive my directness, but what exactly are you trying to convey?” His gaze was sharp now, a stark contrast to the polite demeanor he had maintained since his arrival.
“I propose forming an alliance. One that would be mutually beneficial for both Elysium and Sylvancrest. Perhaps allow you to access trade routes on land.” The King finally declared.
The room fell into a tense silence as the foreign prince processed the sudden proposal.
“It does not make sense.” Hyunjin finally said, breaking the silence.
“I am merely the fourth prince of my nation, not even in line for the throne. I’m not the one you should be offering such…alliances to.”
The Elysium King chuckled, a chilling sound that sent a shiver down Hyunjin’s spine.
Sinister and calculating.
“Elysium can help you become the only one truly worthy of claiming your throne.” ──────────────────────── Chris knew it was a dream.
There was no way he had returned to her balcony. Yet everything felt so vivid. The night chill raised goosebumps on his arms, even beneath the black attire that concealed him in the dark, the curtains leading into her room flowed freely with the gust of winds.
He knew it was a dream.
Princess Y/N smiled at him.
Far from the scowl he was used to seeing. Her eyes meet his through the reflection of the mirror she stood before, dressed in nothing but a nightgown.
The one Chris remembered feeling silky to touch.
His gaze flickered to the shoulder he had bandaged, only to find it completely unblemished, bare shoulders glowing for his eyes to take in.
And no sign of injury at all.
It was a dream.
Still, the Nightshade Prince took a step forward, then another, and one more. Until he was just inches from her.
His chest heaved, throat dry. Eyes trailing over details of her he missed in reality. Details his subconscious had seemed to etch into memory.
“Prince Christopher.” Her voice was a whisper, delicate and soft in the quiet of her dimly lit chambers.
The furniture seemed to glimmer faintly under the candlelight and moonlight, more details that Chris had likely conjured up in his mind for the sake of this vivid, unsettling dream.
Still, the foreign prince reached out daringly, his fingers grazing the warmth of her jaw. The skin was searingly hot against his touch.
The Nightshade Prince had only read the title of that novel she had left behind, yet here he was, dreaming of committing such forbidding acts that were straight out of a love story. Even if it was all in his mind.
He swallowed hard and leaned in, finally capturing her lips in a soft, passionate kiss. Their breaths mingling in the heated moment.
The press of her plush lips on his, had sent a jolt through his entire body.
A jolt so strong, he had pulled himself back to reality.
It was nothing but a dream.
Chris woke up panting, his eyes wide as he stared at the dark covers. The back of his hand flew to his lips, covering them as his eyes stared into nothingness.
It replayed again in his mind.
He screwed his eyes shut, trying to dispel such lewd thoughts that emerged.
Grasping the crystal bird in his clammy hand, he tried to calm the erratic pounding of his heart, attempting to rid himself of the lingering sensations of the imaginary kiss and the softness in Y/N’s voice as she whispered his name.
The warrior prince did end up dreaming about her. Though not in the way he had thought.
No way.
How could he dream of such a thing?
“Fuck. Get yourself together, Chan.” He muttered for the second time, rubbing his face with his hands in frustration.
Then he realized the thoughts did not subside.
Instead his heart beat quickened at an erratic beat that made him anxious.
A part of his mind attempted to push him into another slumber. Into another dream where he could return back to the Princess, her chambers.
To her lips.
No way.
“How-how could I…fall for her? How could I fall for the wrong princess?”
Suddenly his eyes widened with a new fear, one the warrior prince had never felt before.
This night was a special one.
As the second princess gazed at her reflection in self-pity in her chambers, the Nightshade Prince grappled with his own unsettling thoughts. Both remained unaware of the Elysium King’s sinister schemes. Behind closed doors, the King was orchestrating something harrowing with the seemingly naive Sylvancrest Prince.
Indeed, the night was special. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ to be continued.

hey.... i wanna know your honest Thoughts on the jjk ending? Give a rating out 10. Honestly i'm ranting. I mean the good things in the chapter were sukuna's conclusion, the flashback with gojo , queen utahime being alive yay and the nice art with everyone at the end. Usually i would wait for a story to finish before ranting/judging but my god this kinda sucked. I don't want to be too critical but god I am just disappointed and kinda mad. Overall it is an okay/mid manga ;). Gege is not worst writer but ughh. Aot or mha sure they have their flaws but my god..These should never be compared to THIS. so now we could really say that gojo stayed south. With the full chapter, this does not change my opinion cause it still kinda sucks overall even with the whole north vs south meaning. Nothing really changed in the society or lessons maybe except for yuji and sukuna. The kiddos all really went back to missions huh after everything. I have alot to say with relationships and bonds, wasted potential on many aspects but that is a whole other discussion. i totally understand we can't write a backstory for every single character but that is not what i am insinuating here and yes there should be room for a little literary interpretation . That a whole different topic... Anyways I agree with alot your rants. i would like to hear your opinions. In the end we never got to see a gjhm flashback unfortunately. Ok so let say gojo is dead dead I find it hard to believe no was like remembering or acknowledging not even his comrades ( examples shoko, utahime etc_ or the students (i mean i am pretty sure these characters would but i would like to SEE it you know) and so many hints were gearing for gojo's revival but it is meaningless... and was used for pr ngl that's sad. Maybe the anime would do better at some aspects but i will be salty anyways. i will see uta's dance ;) animated so that i looking forward to and ig the maki's massacre. it looks like it's open ending but really!? They are some loop holes but HEY FEAR not we will probably see answers to our questions in the q&a segment! sigh. I lowkey do not want a "jjk part 2" it is draining. Gege when i catch you. I think gege intended this story to be short oh well. I have alot to say but this gonna be a novel lol. Sorry for errors i was in a moment and i hoped you understood what i wanted to say. Hope the gojohime fandom would not die and looking forward to see some nice content.
Thankyou
I already went on a mini rant here. If I have to rate the ending, I'd say maybe 2-4 out of 10?
JJK really did turn out kinda mid. It has an easy anime to get into (the anime carries it mostly 🫣), to recommend for newbies, but that ending will make one hesitate to recommend it now. Maybe wouldn't even bother to.
I'm also disappointed & mad. I don't even wanna consider that Gojo is fully dead (cuz Gege went about it so terribly). Gege skipped Gojo's whole month after his unsealing then killed him off-panel a few chapters later. The north & south thing was pointless. We didn't even get to see Gojo make a choice. There were so many hints about his potential revival but they amounted to nothing.
Summed up in this image:
This Tweet sums up the terrible mishandling of Gojo's character too 😡. This other short thread pretty much says that his "death" didn't make sense for Gojo either; accepting to stay at the airport is him regressing to his teen self. It doesn't properly conclude Gojo's character arc at all. He was meant to MOVE ON from the loss of his "springtime of youth" & continue to strive for a better future with his comrades & students; the future that HE DREAMED OF 😤 (oof, don't wanna rant further on Gojo; don't wanna make this longer 😅).
Honestly, the fan theories made the story seem much better than it actually was. At least with this ending, people can finally start seeing & admitting that Gege isn't a great writer. I've certainly never thought he was 😒; I once went on a rant here about most issues with this manga, one of them being how terribly fast-paced it is. This story is the definition of wasted potential. So many missed opportunities.
Whatever Gege comes up with for the databook, it'll be infuriating. He'll try to fill in the plot holes but man, I don't think it'll be satisfying. He might not even answer the burning questions everyone has (just like Kub0 never answered everyone's burning questions about the Bl3ach ED, or more like, no one dared to ask. Maybe he himself didn't allow those questions for his interviews 😒). Hope ppl don't give him any more money, especially cuz he's still milking Gojo, such as with that Hidden Inventory movie no one asked for.
I kinda wanted a Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 ending (lol) & then on to the supposed JJK part 2, esp cuz of this sketch here but Gege fumbled hard.
Wonder if Mappa could deliver but we'll see. I only care about GojoHime's 200% Hollow Purple now. Gege made me lose most interest I had for other things getting animated. Just thinking about that ending will mostly ruin my experience... 😞
I also hope the GojoHime fandom continues to thrive. We've always lived off of crumbs... Hope ppl continue to make headcanons, fanfics, fanart, etc... I wouldn't want ppl to leave such a beautiful ship with so much potential 🥺 (I've been thru this type of thing before with Bl3ach, so despite the disappointment, I've stuck around in my ship fandoms only. I don't engage with anything else in that series. Another beloved series of mine also ended terribly but unfortunately, the fandom kinda faded or became inactive cuz it's a manhwa 🥺; if it at least had a proper anime adaptation, then...).
Let's stay strong, GojoHime fam! 🥹❤️🩹

Love Sky Excerpt: The Model Incident
Who requested this... @secriden and @zarrenix, I believe?
** Note because it comes up: Sky's dorm in the novel is just a mini fridge, microwave, low table, and a bed. The bathroom is through a door to the side, but otherwise it's a fairly small and cramped space. Not even a sofa.
"Okay, you take care of this. And be careful, this one has to be turned in tomorrow."
He has been called to do... work.
The one giving orders returns to his computer with a serious look, as he fixes the 3D model on the screen, leaving Prapai with a model that he has no idea what the final product should even be.
"Wait, did you just call me to help with homework?!"
He shouts loudly after he regains his senses.
"Um, please help me. I'm running out of time. At noon the professor assigned a new work to be turned in tomorrow, and there's another work to be done for tomorrow too. I don't have time now. Ahhh! Is it 11pm already? Will I get any fucking sleep?" Sky freaks out after looking at his watch, but Prapai is more serious.
He can't laugh at this one.
The whole way from the hotel to this dorm (Note: Prapai was having drinks with his Uncle Frost), he was nearly going insane from the worries he had for the other one. But apart from the shaky voice of the boy who asked him to come over, there was no other explanation. The man admits that even though he's not the one who thinks too much, he is angry. He's so angry that his deep voice which is normally filled with playfulness is now full of frustration.
"Did you call me all the way here to do work? Okay, I know you see me no better than some psychotic creep who keeps chasing you, but have you considered how I feel at all? Or how worried I was? All of this for work you need to turn in to your professor tomorrow?!?!?!?!" Prapai doesn't get angry easily, but when he does, it's scary. Those eyes stare at the boy who turns his chair around, looking shocked.
"I..."
While Sky bites his lip with guilt and eyes blurry from tears, profound silence falls into the room until the big one has to close his eyes to focus.
"For get it. I'm the crazy one. You have to turn this in tomorrow, right?"
He is furious, but he's going to help anyway.
He doesn't know how much help he will be because his hands are shaking with anger.
"Pai..."
"Are you in a rush?"
The kid moves to sit on the bed he's laying his back against, but the man just asks back in a deep voice. He hasn't moved his eyes away from the paper in his hand, so he nearly gives himself a papercut when...
"!!!"
His cheeks are held as the other one presses the soft lips onto his lips.
Prapai's eyes widen, staring at the face which is inches away. He can see the details clearly- the thick eyelashes on top of bright cheeks. He can also feel the fingertips that hold firmly along his jawline, and even the soft lips that press down so tight, and all the way those lips pull back and push in again, sucking his lower lip. The tip of the tongue lingers around his lips and then gets inside his mouth.
This is so gentle, so adorable and sweet, it makes him forget everything.
"Hmmm." Someone who's trying to please him with his tongue lets out a soft moan. But before Prapai reciprocates, the one who kisses him back away with a red face.
Then, Sky asks in a pleading and worried voice, "I'm sorry, but please help me? Please?"
Yes, Prapai is angry, but he hears himself replying just...
"Yeah," and he looks back to the work he's been assigned to.
How much did he let Sky have his way? It is the question even he doesn't dare answer.
---
Sky knows now that he doesn't want to make Prapai angry.
At first, the young man intended to make Prapai leave him alone, but no matter how cold he got, how nasty he glared at him, now ignorant he became, it seemed to be him who, out of the blue, started to care about and trust the other one. So, when he nearly had a breakdown last night from not having enough time to work, he decided without thinking to call the other one before the stress exploded. And he didn't know how that stress vanished when the other came over, worried about him.
At first he wanted to scream, he felt so relieved, but then he went back to feeling stressed when Prapai exploded.
He had never seen Prapai angry before, and now that he saw it, he was terrified.
The young man was sure that he wasn't scared that Prapai would kill him, but he was scared that Prapai would walk away and never return. All of that was the reason why someone who said he would never let this man have him pulled the big one on himself. He didn't know why, but he kissed him, and he didn't regret it.
Not that there was anything else for him to lose, but because those angry eyes like wildfire died down into ashes.
Now Prapai was no longer angry.
However, he didn't have time to consider the state of his heart because time was running out. So he went back to focusing on his part, while Prapai helped with what he asked. They rarely talk, but it will be Prapai asking what he has to do next and if he's doing it right. Sky gives back a quick answer and continues to focus on his work. By the time he gets to sleep, it is four in the morning. The young man doesn't think too much even though there is a big one sleeping in the same bed. They don't even say goodnight, because as soon as they close their eyes, they go right to bed. Soon after, the alarm goes off- not on his phone, but on Prapai's.
"Can I use the bathroom?"
The owner of the room nods, he gets up to put the plan he drew in the cylinder box and gathers his tools into his backpack. When Prapai gets out of the bathroom, he takes turns using it.
Sky can say he's avoiding Prapai. He has had some time to think before the confrontation, but his heart is being pierced with guilt.
How could he do it? Calling Prapai to use him like that? Even thinking of it makes him feel so selfish. They aren't in a relationship, and it was right for Prapai to be angry- so angry that Sky is scared to even look at him in the eye. He doesn't know what this man is thinking at all. But when he gets out of the bathroom, the one who he thought would already be gone is sitting on the made bed.
"Come on, I'll give you a ride."
Sky could argue that he has time before he has to go, but he doesn't. One hand reaches out to grab a backpack, another hand reaches to grab the cylinder box. He doesn't say anything when Prapai voluntarily picks up the model- which the man completed 50% of.
"Next time I'll bring my car; that's better, right? You probably sit uncomfortably on this."
Normally, he would say there is no need to bring anything, he can go anywhere himself. But now when he is overwhelmed with guilt, he climbs on to the big motorbike, gets a firm grip on his things, and holds the model himself, guarding it with his life, because like Prapai said, it's uncomfortable.
He's not afraid of falling, he's afraid the thing in his hands will fall.
The young man doesn't know the model of Prapai's big motorbike or how much it costs, but what he is sure of is that the man bought it for speed, to invite girls and guys to hug him from behind, not for him who carries tons of stuff and cares about them more than himself. But Prapai rides slowly and guides both him and his things to the university safely.
"Here. I'll help." When they arrive, he helps carry the model and waits for Sky to climb down. Then he returns it with... a smile.
Prapai already took off the helmet, so the young man gets to see it with his own eyes.
Normally, Sky wouldn't hesitate to walk on and not look back, but he can't afford to ignore Prapai. When he knew Prapai was coming over before, he forced himself to stay awake, not to mention all the hours he put Prapai through with all the work last night. So, he can only stand still and hesitate if he should say 'thank you' or 'have a safe ride back'.
Either one, it can't represent how terrible he feels right now.
"Pai, I'm sorry." Sky looks up with shame.
"Then come here, I'll punish you with a kiss."
"Are you insane?!" he's serious, but Prapai just laughs and even pulls his arm. Sky's glad it isn't rough, or he would drop the model and actually cut the other one open with the utility knife. So, now he can only stare, seeing how relaxed Prapai seems.
"Well, you said sorry, and I'll punish you for that. What's wrong with that?"
"Very funny."
"I'll be the one laughing."
The old him would give back a dry smile, but he presses his lips.
Sky is not only stupid; he knows Prapai only made a joke so that he wouldn't feel awkward, but he doesn't like to owe anything, so he only repeats.
"I'm really sorry."
The man in front of him softens his smile, lets go of his arms, and touches his cheek instead.
"Believe me. I'm not angry anymore."
Sky looks back with a hint of skepticism; Prapai sees through it as always.
"Okay, I was angry last night, but I'm not now. I visited you uninvited many times and you didn't get mad at me. When you were in a tough situation and thought of me, then I should be happy. Besides, the prize was worth it.
The speaker looks at his lips with a grin. Sky would yell back, but he picks up a sign now that there are true feelings of care hidden behind those ominous words.
Even if the boy turned around without looking back now, Prapai wouldn't be angry. Instead, Sky would be angry with himself.
"It's cheap- all that work for a kiss."
"We see value differently. For me, you're worth everything."
Sky's face flushes at the touch of the other on his cheek as he says nothing, or more like he's speechless. He can only look at the tall man who still lingers as he pulls his hand back and even looks at his lips.
"I'd better go. If I stay any longer, I might do something. Be good in class."
The young man stands still, watching Prapai as he puts on his helmet.
"Oh," before leaving, Prapai pushes his helmet's mask up. Even though Sky cannot see his lips, he knows the man is smiling.
"If you find yourself in a tough situation again, feel free to call me. But just let me know that it is for help with homework. I don't want to nearly have a heart attack like last night, okay kiddo?" The speaker puts both hands on the bike, pulls up one of his legs, getting ready to shift gears.
"Pai!"
"Yes?"
"Hold this for me for a minute." Sky is the one asking and approaching. He puts his work into the arms of the tall man who is concerned about it. And hten he blames it all on his guilt pushing him to do what he's about to do.
"What are you playing at? Hum?"
Sky ignores the question. He pulls Prapai's helmet up to his nose, not all the way off his head, and...
Smooch!
He kisses the man hard once, and the tall man is in shock.
Just seconds, but it feels like the world has stopped spinning.
The kid can feel the warmth that pulls him close. He can't help himself but suck Prapai's lips a little, then he pushes himself right back with two burning cheeks. He pulls the frozen man's helmet back to where it was, looking down as he mutters, "I gave you a punishment. Go back safely."
Sky turns away and takes long steps to the building as soon as he finishes. The man who has been unfrozen shouts behind him.
"Can I have that again? I wasn't prepared!"
"Go back to sleep!" He shouts and stomps into the building, no longer listening to what Prapai is saying. All he knows is, he's too shy to even breathe.
Sky could swear he did it out of guilt only; nothing else is a component at all.
Believe him!

My (hopefully) last batch of large ko-fis for a while!
I had an interview for the paid training opportunity through ovr on Thursday so I'm waiting to hear back from them to know for sure, but regardless of if I get it or not, I'm going to be taking a much needed break from larger ko-fis to recuperate and draw for myself. In the meantime I'm going to keep mini's open, so if you're interested in supporting me until I (fingers crossed) start this new job in February, please check out my commissions page on ko-fi! I’m currently unemployed! If you’d like to help me out you can buy a mini or donate to my ko-fi! Thank you so much for all of your support!🌺
I don't want this to turn into a novel, so I'll try keep this brief, but I want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for supporting me through this period of my life. It's been a really rocky road, but I don't know where I'd be without the generous support of all of you guys who commissioned me, donated, and boosted my posts. Thank you so so so so so much! I want to send a special, huge thank you to Jax who commissioned me almost every time I opened them. I can't tell you how happy I was every time you popped up in my emails. You've been a dream commissioner to work with I honestly don't have the words to express how much working with you meant to me! Thank you again! I hope I'll be able to draw more of your characters for you in the future! ♥
