           it's been far too long since he's found himself alone with someone crying. difficult to believe he would find himself in such a situation, truly, beyond that fateful day shared between cousins in the aftermath of one's loss and their promise spurring beyond centuries yet had he known this would be the situation waiting for him beyond the numbness between his cheeks and fingers, his breath warm enough to feel like smoke against his face ... there's a part of him that cannot deny wishing he'd have more time to arrange for it. hoping for the best and preparing for the worst a hard learned lesson, as such scenario has reminded him if not anything else. but he's standing before her now, freezing before her now, and it's ... uncannily nostalgic, in a way, to find him face to face, alone, with the once-queen of arendelle ( elsa, he mentally corrects himself in head and head alone. it does not matter that the coronation ceremony did not completely go through, royalty is still royalty in his eyes even if her people wish to deem her as no better as a witch. ) on the precipice of becoming a warm hand or a cold husk.

he's less surprised by how such tears are enough to help him understand the parts of this moment he supposes she may not quite be ready to share, the more he considers it; lonely girl left with the wish for no family to chase her, of course she would use her magic more out of protection than deliberate harm, to think that no soul would embark where he now stands in some macabre lesson in how she is due to live her days alone. that's what he can pick up, applying her emotions to that boy who couldn't bare to mourn his mother until someone confirmed it was okay to do so. but to consider anything beyond that, fill in holes of a situation he's spent the majority of his life beyond the sea to even hope to understand ...

it's her story to tell, he retaliates. if he takes a better look at it, this goes beyond a simple upheaval, the reveal of a lie that the public have missed while the young princess grew; nicola believes that such a story wasn't sprung back up overnight, well rotting between the counties roots and ties in a way that would eventually spoil the core. while this, for one, is the unfortunate moment for the magic to spill. showing itself in face of one not afraid to shout it out loud, a soul to brazen to use it in favour of politics or blackmail in a way that makes it stand of being the only good thing to happen in that moment and maybe if it were someone else they'd (he'd) think of the relief, view it in favour of getting rid of such a duke for tyranny or a ploy to set up the queen, a game on chess where he will sacrifice a pawn to reveal the king, but the queen ... is not one to think this way. is someone who remains the lone fish bait in a pool full of bloodthirsty sharks, cold simply on the outside where he remains certain her broken heart remains burning-pure.

she's the kind of person who should never have been caught up in this game of cat and mouse, really, and that ultimately guides them back to the fact that she is still sat near-huddled in a storm of her own making and can only afford to look like a scared shadow of her former self and he can merely stand over her with a posture rivalling the now shaken trees, eyes soft and smile curved upwards in a way he's long learnt people to find by, hand holding her cape at a slightly stiff angle as if he'd simply planned to hand the item back and make his hopeful leave. it would be easier, if he didn't have a sore spot for this kind of situation. it's a thought that's plagued his mind, though not one he has spent any energy in attempting to follow through; it's a given, knowing the one he chooses to live for, but that doesn't mean he can assume a grown woman's reaction will be similar to a small child's. for all who have abandoned her and the politeness to his features, she is honestly concerned, rightfully wary of his presence, and as always he will find more faith in the suspicion, those with a head on their shoulders above reckless situations that near ruin it all.

❛  would your knight in shining armour be considered a little too on the nose?  ❜ he thaws himself out of it, the cold that racks his bones to position himself properly, arms leaning gently, openly, to wrap the cape once more around her shoulders in what he hopes comes off as compassionate if not positive. not that he thinks such a gesture could be considered otherwise but ... he is not as good as most people performing such an action should be, weapon half covered and dried blood on the lapel his jacket enough of a warning sign for one to keep their distance and with how her thoughts remain in some semblance of what he presumes to be flight or fight he's unsure if he can be seen as anything beyond a threat, the unknown executioner from an unknown assignment considering how much he has risked to stand here for even a moment. she hasn't reduced him to a block of ice upon meeting so he figures there's still a thread of trust; the questions directed to him all the same.

❛  i apologise for not making my acquaintance much sooner, your highness. ❜ gentle, tone closer to that of one handling a wounded animal than one introducing themselves to a person in power, ending with an attempt of appeased humour. he can't say he can go back so that they can try again, because he's unsure they'll have another opportunity to talk if he does, a chill in his bones reminding him he could near freeze soon, if his hummingbird heart has nothing to say before it. he ties the pieces of her cape together with a flourish, considers. he could afford to be extremely honest here, he supposes, but even when knowing so ... he doesn't truly know how to be, and considering that even his knowledge is littered with blanks as to why he's come this far ... well.

Her hands have been trembling all day, starting ever since the gates were opened for her coronation day. Only God knew this, but Elsa has used her three years to try to prepare herself for the day where she must take her vows. Once a week, maybe twice a week if she was feeling brave, she would secretly go to the royal chapel to train herself. She would grasp the solid scepter and orb, gold and ancient, without the use of her gloves. She should lose herself in prayer when visiting the royal chapel, but all she could do was practice and practice on holding her pose.

Three years of private training by herself were wasted, however... Frost still crept over the sceptre and orb the moment she was forced to remove her gloves, much to her dismay. No one, she hoped, would notice the sight of their newly crowned queen. They may see her stiff shoulders, maybe even the rigidness of her hands, but hopefully not the chill in the air. Completing one single day is all she needed to worry. Her coronation day may have almost gone terrible, but she managed to handle such a daunting task... only by a thread of pure luck.

Everything was almost over. All she had to do is survive the celebrations until it was time to retire back to her bedchamber, safe and all alone. She skillfully avoided invitations to dance, weaving together excuse after excuse. Not many, however, had the courage to ask for her hand. One messy conversation with Anna, her dearest sister, is all that it took for her world to come crashing down before her very eyes. Ice burst forth, dangerous and sharp and refusing to listen to her. Everyone saw the sight play out, including many wide-eyed foreign guests— The Duke of Weselton cried out of the word she feared most: Sorcery!

One word is all it took for Elsa to flee from her own home.

It rang in her mind, louder than any church bell.

The horror of the people, her people, played back in her mind with each step she took across the lake. She ran and ran and ran, adrenaline fueling her legs to keep moving. She ran until her lungs burned. She left a trail of decay in her wake, frost creeping over everything around her. Elsa didn't know how much time she has lost, but soon the world was covered in snow. The cool summer night is gone, replaced with a cold that was more colder than the corpse of a body. The wind howls, matching the unseen storm within her racing heart...

Fat snowflakes fall from the heavens above, not showing any signs of stopping any time soon. The onslaught of snow and loud wind make a violent yet beautiful dance. Anyone caught in this weather would no doubt lose their bearings... if they weren't already freezing to death. Elsa pushed forward, still wearing her coronation dress. She kept moving, not bothered by the weather. She only had one single thought in her mind: Get as far away from Arendelle as possible.

How many in attendance saw her secret become revealed? She knew there were many influential people at her party, ranging from the Southern Isles to all the way in Italy. The list was too long for her to remember, but the castle's staff were more than prepared to welcome as many guests as possible. They had more than enough plates and finery to entertain foreigners, eager to have the castle come back to life again. Even though she was far from the eyes of society, the memory of all their eyes landing on her body is enough to make her feel sick to her stomach. Their shock and horror stabbed her, pinning her to her spot. Even now, the thought of being caught only encouraged her to move.

"What do I do now?" She murmured the desperate question to herself, but she knew she was speaking to her father. She secretly wished for her father's spirit to materialize, though she doubts she can handle the sight of his disappointed expression. She longed for his comforting hand as much as she desired a drop of his wisdom. There are no spirits on the mountain tonight, no one here to guide her away from herself. Like her mother and the rest of the people on their ship, her father's body is lost at sea. Her prayers for them to miraculously survive were not granted as the whole world of Arendelle fell upon her shoulders.

Elsa falls to her knees, hindered by her dragging cape and aching legs. The snowstorm continues to beat down upon the land, only lightening up once every few minutes. Soon, her tracks will be covered up by snow. She stares down at the tiara in her bare hand, weighing the options in her head. "I don't know where to go..." The words are released to the wind, unable to escape from the harsh reality of how she fled from her people and duty and... her own sister.

"But I can't... I can never go back..." They will kill her, will they not? No one, not even Arendelle's nearest and oldest allies, will accept a sorceress as a legitimate ruler. A witch with a cold heart is not meant to rule anything or anyone; their fate is meant to be condemned to death. She was, perhaps, even more disliked than a bastard trying to claim the throne. Elsa remains on the snow-covered ground, clutching her tiara closer to her chest. She allows the wind to muffle her sobs, unknowingly allowing the wild storm to grow stronger...

She doesn't know how long she sits in the snow upon the mountain, lost and confused. She knows her tears have long since stopped, but she still clung to the tiara in her bare hands. She has allowed both her cape to be carried away by the wind. She, however, was still unable to throw away the tiara. The quiet sound of a crunching snow alerts Elsa in an instant, drawing her gaze upward to gaze upon a man with semi-long brown hair and ocean blue eyes...

She stares at him, voice now caught in her throat. His body, she distantly noticed, went still as a statue, almost as if she caught him red-handed with only her very gaze. Any stealth attempts were foiled by the unnatural snowstorm, though she couldn't quite confirm if he was aiming for stealth. He looked vaguely familiar, but what did look very familiar is the sight of her purple cape in his grasp. He has a handsome face, but what caught her attention a lot more faster is the sheathed weapon at his hip. He looks very pale, no doubt struggling with the harsh winter in the middle of July. The inner depths of Elsa feel completely and utterly unraveled, but she is certain that she still appears as cold and unapproachable on the surface.

"Why are you here?" Elsa has found her voice, breaking the spell of silence with her now hardened voice. She remains on the ground, snowflakes kissing every inch of her body. Though she is tired, she still tracks every little move the man makes with her piercing gaze. She has no weapons on her person, not like him, but the cold air has only dropped until it was as cold as a winter night. There is no need for pleasantries or small talk on the mountain tonight, not when she is on the run.

From Piofiore: Fated Memories (the Taisho Era Italy game): Orlok. An informant and a bit of an assassin on the side. Connected to the church and has religious trauma.

From Virche Evermore: Error Salvation (death... so much death...): Lucas Proust. The kindly (on the verge of death) teacher who isn't all that he seems to be. He gets done so dirty...

From Code Realize: Guardian of Rebirth (by far my favorite series from all that I've played): Saint Germain. He's just... everything. I can't say too much because ooooohhhh! Do you want me to blab on spoilers?

Piofiore: Episodio 1926 Part 1 - Gilbert Redford Route

I'M SO EXCITED!!! I like to follow recommended route orders so I'll go with Gilbert first which I honestly don't mind because I love his personality and his respectful relationship with Lili, so yeah he's one of my favourites haha. Orlok is really the only one I'm iffy about but I guess we'll see. Love how the route already starts with Lili and Gil having a lovers spat in the lounge and everyone is just like .... Even Luca was there haha. Lili wanting to learn accounting to help the family is very her, so cute. Lmao when Gil wanted to show his repentance towards her by kissing her. I didn't expect to hear Yang so soon, I miss him so much🥹🥹 I'm surprised Lili isn't living with Gil already tbh haha. I love how playful he is though, I miss that. Seems like there's new characters from the Liu Huang Hui (head organisation of Lao Shu?) who are here to kill Yang so that's amusing. Loll at Lili being repeatedly hit on, she is beautiful though so what can I say🥲 Is Eugene Gil's father? Didn't expect the guy to be selling drugs even though he looked dodgy😰 Luca wanting to learn how to read so that Gil can give him instructions without personally saying it to him every time is so cute. He's such a good boy. Something I completely forgot about is that the LIs like to call Liliana Lili and it feels so weird to hear my name hahaha.

I hope Sister Sofia isn't dead, that would be terrible. I was so relieved when Gil appeared. It just feels really reassuring to have him there even if it's after everything happened. Luca is the sweetest boy ever! I love how he came all the way to the church to check if she was okay, and he spent time with the children learning with them too, it made me so sad but happy when he was like is this what going to school feels like🥹🥹 Oliver being sincerely concerned for Lili's wellbeing was very sweet too. OMG THE CG! I LOVE IT. It was so unexpected that I had to exit the game because I was playing on the TV though lmao. But yesss, them sharing a bathtub is so hot. I loveee Gil's wet hair. Little Gil looks like Luca haha! Lili is quite bold now! She kissed Gil on the cheek to motivate him to go to work haha, that's so cute, especially since she wasn't embarrassed at all! Anyway, Yuan has a very different appearance from what I expected. He looks very elegant. Honestly, with how reckless Luca is, I get so scared that he'll get himself killed. Jack really would have killed them if Orlok didn't appear. I'm glad Oliver and them reprimanded him but made sure to convey to him that they were mainly concerned about his and Lili's safety. I'm so glad that Orlok told Lili and Gil about how Eugene was ready to sacrifice Lili and Luca to protect himself because she hasn't thought of Eugene negatively at all but really, he's a selfish ass and Lili needs to get away from him. It was so cute how the twins appreciated Gil standing up for them against Yuan when he said that they're his guests. This is the reason why I love Gil! Another reason why I love him is because of how reassuring and kind he is. Even though it's risky to take Lili out, he recognises that she can't stay cooped up inside forever. Every time he says that the safest place in Burlone for Lili to be is right next to him, I admit that I swoon because when he says it, I feel like I can really believe in his words and feel safe, so I'm sure Lili feels the same haha.

Elena is the sweetest girl ever! I love how she made Lili realise that they won't necessarily be together forever since it's possible that she could find a husband somewhere else too and leave. Nothing is permanent, but as long as they let each other know that even if apart, they will always love and care about you, then that's enough. I can't believe Yang got injured so badly by Yuan. Why did Yuan just leave though? Suspicious.. Anyway, I can't help but feel bad for Dante... It just doesn't feel right for Dante to not have Nicola beside him. In other news, I love Jack's design, he's hot. ls Jack Gil's brother? Is that why I think he's hot?😅😅 Yuan is such a nut, can't believe he bit Lili and licked her blood to taste it, what a guy. Wow, the ruthlessness of Yuan to sever people's limbs, I feel sorry for those people.. I forgot about how Gil's father used to hit Gil and his mother. It was obvious that Eugene is a terrible father but he's even worse than I thought. I feel bad for Gil and Jack that they have such a father who doesn't care about them at all. I feel so sad that Orlok sacrificed himself to help Dante and Gil escape. Well, the ending really wasn't very compelling. It felt pretty rushed that everyone had to basically leave with Gil going Chicago and Yang very easily accepting to just go Romania. I guess I kinda feel robbed by how emotional it should be for Lili to leave her home and everything to follow Gil to Chicago but they just kinda left and it was like whatever lol. I don't even feel like the thing with Eugene was resolved all that nicely because he basically just left as if he never came, it really didn't have much effect on Gil's character imo lol. Like yeah, he was a piece of shit to the end, which I liked, but it never really felt like Gil got over it all, which I guess can be understandable in real life but it's just not very satisfying? Lili telling Gil all her feelings of loneliness and how she wants to go with Gil to Chicago at the beach was really sweet, I wouldn't have expected this to be the tragic ending at all. Honestly, Yuan dying at the sacrifice of Lili getting a concussion and losing her memories is a pretty good deal LOL, obviously there's other problems but still haha. I think the ending was quite bittersweet to have Gil stay with Lili in Burlone.

Overall, Gil's route was okay. I don't think it had the same charm as the original but I did enjoy Lili being more comfortable with physical affection. I really enjoyed seeing Gil tease her and make her all embarrassed, and I also really liked seeing Luca have a better chance at life with the help of Gil and Oliver. I didn't mind Jack but I think his character was wasted by being the random background guy chasing after Eugene but never actually doing anything. As for Eugene, I was excited to see his clashes with Gil but I guess there wasn't much to expect from him because he was quite disappointing as a person and as the "problem" of this route. It just felt very boring with how he constantly tried to take advantage of the people around him with his dumb decisions, there's now closure for Gil but at the same time, since I thought his father was dead and non-existent, the writers just basically brought up a problem that no one really cared for imo. I think I would have enjoyed the route better if it was just fluffy romance as they thought about their future and whether Lili would go with Gil to America.

I had a bit of a hiatus while dealing with real life and shit, but I finally got around to playing all the games I know have been translated into English. Here’s the ultimate ranking of all the variations of my otome husbando.

Destined to Love (Cybird)

Please please please can you pull this app and redo it as Ikémen Bakumatsu with Yamada doing the art? I cannot deal with Okita, Sōji Okita of the Shinsengumi, whose swordmanship is nothing short of legendary, looking like some edgy marshmallow. C’mon, guys. You’re taking all sorts of liberties with history already, why stop there and not make him look the part? Just make Hijikata even hotter, everything will be fine.

Era of Samurai: Code of Love (Voltage)

Still one of my favourites even after venturing into the realm of premium games, although he looks too much like Leon for my liking (I guess that’s what you get with Voltage and also a byproduct of my refusal to even contemplate ever liking that lion even though, like for Iori in SITS, I clearly do and I just refuse to admit it, although I did exactly that a moment ago). His modern AU stereotypical indie kid version is everything. It’s like they made him for me.

Hakuoki (Otomate/Idea Factory)

Why do I love this Morikubo-voiced jerk more than my actual life? I have many questions to ask of myself and I don't even know if I really want to know the answers, but I have spent about £50 so he can be on my wall alongside another less jerky Morikubo character in what is slowly and not deliberately turning into a shrine to the man himself since his characters dominate my merch purchases. (Author’s note: This post has been a cumulative draft over a year or so, and I wrote this pre-Piofiore. It’s only gone worse since)

He’s hella cute and double-faced, which I tend to like, but also he appears to go through every trope I don’t like in the span of a conversation. 6/10, although solid 10 for looks. In fact, make it 20/10. Top 3 for looks with Voltage and Hakuoki.

Ninja Shadow

I keep forgetting that I did play this Okita (and it was my first while at that...) but even with that dream ponytail it’s not the greatest version. He’s a jokester, which is fun, and he hides a big dollop of angst as it’s right and just, but he was a bit OTT with the humour and it’s a strange storyline that does him a disservice.

Bakumatsu Renka Shinsengumi

If he doesn’t threaten to kill you is he even Okita? I’m living for that one CG that looks like he is Kondō and Hijikata’s kid, but aside from it being probably the most historically accurate of the otome portrayals (at least in localised games) he started off a bit of a disappointment for the same reason as Destined to Love. He was also not helped by the fact that Shinpachi has a brain, Sakamoto and Yamazaki exist and (omg, can’t believe I’m saying this) Hijikata and that line about loving his woman in Sanan’s route. Why is he like Gin in Ayakashi Gohan if he was a soldier? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a major sucker for lovely characters going full on deadly from a moment to the next, so I’m digging it, I’m just extremely disoriented because Voltage is my canon Okita personality (Hakuoki took that and turned it up a notch and ruined my life in the process) and every deviation I’m like “new number who dis?”

It took him 10 chapters to show a hint of the teasing we all know and love. TEN. Out of like 15. I have had three kids with Tokugawa by now (and I don’t even do blondes. Except Ayumu. And best boy. And omg I’m still in the Kiro phase but also could be a Helios phase soooo 🫣 okay, fine, I do blondes). It was really cute tho and I watched him die in the good ending which is a plus.

I’m actually curious to know if you’ve ever played any dating simulator games (otome etc.) I am thinking about picking up piofiore which is set in Italy around the 1920’s because there are some interesting reviews albeit it is very dark which kind of draws me in lmao

All I was able to do was download those Otome apps that charge you for every route and every little thing, and uninstalled them just as quick 😣

Completed otome games, my thoughts, along with my fav characters (last updated: August 22nd 2021)

1. Code Realize - August 2021

Saint-Germain instantly caught my eye, along with Lupin ofc. I was curious about Impey but my friend who lent me her collection of otome games said he was shit. Code Realize was my reintroduction to otome games, and plummeted me into otome hell once more. As soon as I saw Herlock Sholmes, I wanted him as a route, and loved his Future Blessings route.

Saint Germain was my absolute favourite, and his route hurt me in all the right ways. His VA was amazing at conveying the emotion behind certain scenes.

2. Café Enchanté - August 2021

After completing Code Realize, I felt a little lost and didn't know what game to play next. I figured after the pain of some of the stuff in Code Realize, I'd go for something I thought would be a little more fun and a little lighter. Cafe Enchante was next on my list. I was instantly drawn to Misyr and Il, with Il being my first route. I absolutely loved Il, and was traumatized from having my fav boy be the one who was hurt the most again. Although, Misyr is definitely a top contender for most hurt fav as well...

3. Piofiore - August 2021

I continued on with Piofiore right after Cafe Enchante, and instantly knew I was interested in Dante and Yang. I went with Dante first, and was absolutely enamored by him. I was absolutely heartbroken to find out that I didn't get his best ending at first, and contemplated not playing the game for a while. But I decided against it and carried on, using a guide this time. I didn't think anyone else would surpass him in my mind, but boy was I wrong. I quickly fell in love with Yang once I started his route, and his route was the first to make me feel butterflies again in years since I played my last otome game.

However, after playing through all the routes and getting to the finale, I absolutely fell in love with Henri, and I'm honestly shocked that Nicola has left such an impression on me considering I didn't think much of him right after his route. Now it's hard *not* to think about him. But overall, I love all the men pretty equally. I'm super excited for 1926.

4. Collar x Malice - August 2021

I was definitely curious about this one and was tempted to start it multiple times when choosing which game to play next, however I put it off because I didn't like the protagonist being a cop.

The characters are honestly all super loveable, and I think I love them all a bit more equally then I do the Piofiore guys. I was surprised Saeki wasn't a route, until while I was playing Kei or Shiraishi's route when my friend spoiled he was Adonis' leader.

I fell in love with all the characters quite gradually through their stories, with the exception of Shiraishi. I knew he'd be the one I was the most curious and interested in. I was so excited when I finally unlocked his route, and I absolutely loved every single bit of the early half of it. His comments and interactions were hilarious, he was adorable *and* hot.... and he loves cats. What the hell more could I want from a guy? He makes me want to introduce him to my own cats and also makes me want to do mundane and sweet things with him just because he's so sweet and I love him.

I was absolutely heartbroken at his "best" ending, and thinking about his tragic ending hurts my heart. I legitimately only want the best for this man- I only want him to be happy and healthy and not confined to some stupid prison or Adonis...

It also feels strange, but I think I love him best *before* he got a little soft with the protagonist? His quick retorts and harsh comments were hilarious and I loved that so much about him, so I was a bit sad when he grew a bit soft later on.

At the time of writing these past 4 entries, CxM is the latest game I've played, so Shiraishi's story is still super fresh in my mind. I was as obsessed with most of the other men mentioned above as I am with him right now. I'm sure the following entries will contain more love-ramblings like this as I complete more games and add them to the list.

5. Amnesia: Memories - August/September 2021

Toma! Toma! Toma!!!

My first experience with ✨ the cage ✨. I went with Ikki at first, got his normal ending (thaT SHIT WAS SO SAD WTF ;-;) and then went back with a walkthrough for his good ending. But... his route was kinda underwhelming tbh. I liked it as I played it, but looking back now... it really was quite underwhelming. So was Shin's route, who I played after Toma. I was interested in who the culprit was, and was shocked with the reveal tbh. Buuut after playing Toma's route... it was understandable. Although I really wish that Shin's route had more affection in it... it felt more like a mystery with a little bit of romance rather then an otome game.

I played Toma's route after Ikki's, and omfg... Toma was truly an unexpected fav. Hated his good ending tho, idfk why you would be ok with just returning to normal after all of that... but whatever. I would willingly go in that cage I s2g. I LOVED his eyes too! When he gets dark and super possessive, those eyes are just... UGH. Yes please. ❤

I skipped the entirety of Kent's route because I really just don't give a fuck about him. Hes absolutely not my type. I felt bad skipping it, but... in the end I don't really care.

Ukyo was also an unexpected fav- I wad super curious about his route and suspected that all of the "interesting" and bad stuff that I had heard about would happen during his route buuuut... nope. Nothing of the sort. He was so damn sweet, but I will say that uh... insane side of him is kinda hot too. 👀 but omg, the fact that he's a photographer AND so damn dedicated to you and sweet is just... ugh. My heart. Ukyo and Toma definitely became my favs for this game, and I think this is the first time where my first route didn't end up being one of my favourites.

I love how sharp Toma is as well! That he knows so much about you and can easily find out things and such... but also- I really like how dedicated and caring Ukyo is. He's so protective and adorable! I really did feel bad for him during his route. I haven't gotten his normal ending yet, but the title of it is so fucking sad and I don't know if I even wanna go for it.

6. Bustafellows - September 2021

Honestly, when I started playing Bustafellows I didnt expect to like many characters, if any at all. None of them were particularly appealing to me, at least visually... however, as I played the game, I was drawn to Shu and Mozu, as I found Shu to be the most attractive one of the bunch, and Mozu was interesting to me as a coroner. However, the first character I ended up with was... Crow. I was honestly a little surprised, but didn't care too much. I didn't know who I wanted to go with first, and honestly, as the common route progressed... I found myself liking Crow more.

Crow was the one I liked the least out of everyone, at least visually at first. I really didn't like his hair lmao. But as I read the common route, he really grew on me, and I couldn't help but be sweet to him, so ofc I ended up with his route first... and god, I really love him. He's so stupid and adorable. Like seriously.

I went with whoever the game would give me after Crow, and it gave me Helvetica. With Crow, I really loved his character, but didn't care much for his story. It was the opposite for Helvetica. I enjoyed his story a ton, but not his character. I then carried on with Shu, who I loved entirely. Both his character and story was really really good, and his bad ending... phew. Damn dude.

Mozu came after, and I honestly have mixed feelings about his route. I feel like there really needed to be more romance between him and the MC, but the end of his route where he finds his sister is.... oof. I literally went "thats rough buddy" in my head lmao. I felt so bad for him.

I liked Limbo a lot more then I thought I would as well! He was super adorable and sweet, and the story was pretty good too, so I really enjoyed his route. But overall, I believe Shu and Crow are my favs this time around. I can't believe I didn't like Mozu as much as I thought I would! But I feel like I would have liked him a shitton more if there was more to his route then there was.... smh.

Nightshade - September 2021

I almost immediately jumped right into Nightshade, although with doubts of enjoying it in my mind, as I wasnt in the mood for a historical japan setting. However! I loved the characters, and the story! By the end of it, I was thoroughly angry with the antagonists for hurting my BOYS like that...

The first one I went for was Kuroyuki, who I LOVED. I felt a little bit confused throughout his route, but I still quite enjoyed it. A sweet yandere. Babey boy. I love him.

Next was Chojiro, and oooohhhhh boy.... yeah. That was a little rough. BUT I feel like the story was very well suited for him!!! After that I went with Goemon, who was SO SWEET. For a moment, the "plot twist" had me, but then I realized there was no way he was wasn't trying to trick his old clan/the council.

Hanzo was second last, and definitely an unexpected fav! I didnt find him very attractive at first, but seeing him more and more throughout the routes had him growing on me. And I LOVED him! But... I don't like Ieyasu's treatment towards the end of the route; ordering Hanzo to kill the MC after making us thoroughly believe he was a kind man in every other route.... sigh. But I'm happy that he was able to take just the MC's sash instead of her head. I do like that he also told Hanzo to "go get a wife and come back" hehe.

GOD that scene in the cave with Hanzo where youre both naked... YES. And his hair when its wet!!! Hes so adorable AND hot at the same time???? I love Hanzo. Tbh, I love all of them.

Gekka was the last one I did, but I wish I reversed Hanzo/Gekka's positions. Cause I really, *really* didnt like ending on such a sad ending.... dear god. I really thought I got the bad end or something for a hot minute there. Then Gekka comes in! Ahhhh, honestly I didn't like him much at all at first which is why I saved him for last, but his route.... FUCK man. His route was heart wrenching. And he's so damn sweet. I still don't understand how/why he doesn't try to kill the MC in the other routes after the "protection" "curse" is lifted but whatever. Still, the ending... dear god. And all of their graves being dug up... the box of everyone's hair... jesus christ that was morbid. Even that made me mad. I didnt care much for the blonde haired kid who died first, but everyone else after that had such a good part to the story...but I wonder why Kuroyuki lived in every route?

Either way, Nightshade was a lot better then I thought it would be! I loved it!!! I honestly might go back soon and replay Kuroyuki's route now that I know whats going on and I know the characters.... also wanna replay Hanzo's route! Babey ❤

Piofiore Fated Memories Orlok Review

Includes Spoilers

This route pure sickened me honestly. First of all Orlok is this overly righteous person who is supposedly protecting Liliana by protecting her until he is told what to do with her next. He acts like he doesn't even have the right to touch her because she is so holy yet takes her back to live in Yang's house around all the Le Shu and their grubby hands. Half the first part of the story I swear felt like Yang's story again since I saw more Yang than I really should have being Orlok's route. The fight that went on for the Falzone family wanting to take Liliana and protect her from the Lao-Shu ended in Orlok killing Nicola in cold blood. Worst part is I feel like Liliana found a way to justify it was ok when Dante first confronted Orlok is because he remembered he was the one to kill his father.

Like plot twist a little kid assassin kills mafia boss Dante's father. Then on top of it all when he confronts Orlok about it he acts like he has to kill Dante to keep Liliana safe when Dante was never going to hurt her he even said that. Watching Nicola give his life to jump in front of Dante was moving, but also so sad. Like I knew he loved Dante more than anything and this proved it. Then watching the light go out in Dante's eyes broke me. This was the only family he had left, it was him and Nicola against the world. The moment when Nicola took his last breath you could see the revenge take over in Dante and honestly I don't blame him. The day of the funeral hearing Dante hurt and Leo cry broke me for the 2nd time I was in tears feeling the pain of the Falzone's.

Then you see Orlok who now finally decides to take Liliana away from the Lao-Shu mafia and takes her to a shitty empty hide away house. He don't even have a bed or pillows and expects her to make life there with him. He talks about like he has had a sad life and hurt because of everything he had been through but honestly I feel like most of the bad things that came his way because he believed in bloodshed over anything else. Then when he finds out he has to kill Liliana he almost does it until he admits he likes her not loves her but likes her yet she tells him she loves him. Then he wants her to run away with him to be safe and never see any of her family or friends from the church again he doesn't even give her the option to either because the bishop will be pissed for him not killing her for the prophecy.

To tell you how much I dislike Orlok he hides behind faith bullshit and then yet comes across a kid that knows their hideout and Liliana has to remind him not to kill him. Like seriously a freakin kid.. Orlok is too fuckin dangerous yet acts like its normal. Least you piss Yang off he kills you but Orlok his go to is always kill first. That same kid Luca who came to see them often giving them intel on the town and the mafias he got sick and I swear the way he pleaded not to die when his fever was so high crushed my heart. Seriously Orloks good route is sad as fuck. After Luca died the cries of Orlok even got to me cause he didn't understand why god didn't save the boy. For the first time in the whole route I finally felt bad for Orlok and felt his pain and that was at the end of chapter 6. I even included the video and you will see why your heart will break for him but I promise anyone who loves the Falzone's it will break you hearing Leo and Dante.

The small little cute blushing scene between Liliana and Orlok was sweet however neither admitted anything more than they were blushing and not sure why. I felt like I was watching kids for the first time feel like they might have a crush on another. The love story between them was definitely not that of a 18 and 21 year old felt more closer to a 12 year old and 15 feel than anything. So Gilbert kinda annoyed me cause he wanted to kill Orlok but not even for a good reason but because the mess that was going on fucked up a transaction he was doing its like OMG Gil grow the fuck up that was so childish for him which annoyed me. The ending broke me watching Dante die yet again. Like his last breath broke me to tears. I felt all his pain from the losing his father and Nicola I just wanted him to be happy.

I guess thats my issue Dante has my heart when it comes to this game so anyone who hurts him hurts me. For Orlok lovers they will probably love how it ends. Even though after I got over losing Dante I will admit for a story that was drawn out longer and all over the place with a slow burn it ended sweet. That being said they talk about being together forever yet he still has to ask her for kisses which you never see in one CGI in the good route and he never says I love you once yet she does several times. I just find the route out of like 5 star rating probably 2 1/2 stars possibly 3 but that pushing it. Worst part is that I played every route including the bad endings and I have somethings to talk about there.

First why is the tragic end the only end you ever see Orlok tell Liliana that he loves her as well as the only one you get a CGI picture of them kissing for the first and only time in the whole game. Next the ending where you see Dante go so cold where he cuts his tendons so Orlok can't escape and walk and where he insinuates Liliana is his and will be to get back at Orlok for taking the people he loves. I think its pressing on that he rapes her but the screen goes black and it ends the scene so never goes into detail. I mean its not like he forces her its just kinda like he is telling her that she has to be his or he will kill Orlok kinda thing. Its dark even for Dante but I can't blame him he lost all the people in his life that meant something to him by this one man and so he wants to take the person he cares the most for as well which is why Liliana gets brought into all that. However not like she makes it any better because she saw Orlok ruin Dante and still sided with Orlok.

I literally saw the light in Dante's eyes go out and so much hatred for Orlok take over once Nicola died. I can't even say I don't understand it because people are more likely to do things they wouldn't if they lose everyone that matters. Like they say a person who has nothing to lose is the most dangerous unpredictable person. I was in tears as I watched Dante hurt and that was real this whole story was so fucked from the start I just never want to deal with this story again. I went through it once seen all the endings and how you can die and I'm just hoping Orlok in 1926 is better than this one.

Piofiore: Fated Memories Part 3 - Yang Route

Time for Yang!! I'm so excited tbh because I love his voice and he seems like the most interesting character haha. Anyway, I didn't expect Yang to so suddenly kiss her when she's trying to run away from his subordinates after getting captured by them. Love how her slapping his face was like nothing to him lol. I also really like how Yang is basically forcing her with his "aura" to make her understand that she needs to ask intelligent questions in regards to her own situation right now if she wants Yang to not kill her, keeps the tension high and interesting. Although Yang isn't nice in the way Gil and Dante are, he is pretty nice to her in the sense that he kinda allows her to do what she wants if she uses her brain and resists him in a logical way he can understand? I loved the CG of him pushing her down on the bed🥺 Nice to know that if she doesn't stay in the same room as him and let others think she's Yang's woman, everyone is going to screw around with her...😶 Lmao when he "kindly" took her as a cat to hug instead of a woman, so he won't do anything to her haha. I guess that's his compromise🤣

Okay, Lili sitting on Yang's lap and him feeding her congee (probably) is like so hot lmao. On another note, I can't imagine a weird breakfast of xiao long bao, congee and fried chicken?? What is this weird Asian mix hahaha. Hahahaha, I love how much Yang loves to tease her, especially when he calls her human or cat depending on what he feels like. He's forceful to kiss her but I'm assuming he's just being considerate for her in his own way. I feel sorry for Orlok. It's early in the morning and he's in for the shock of his life already since Yang and Lili are making it seem like they had sex lol. Considering Yang's important regards towards eating meals, I wonder if it's because of something like he used to be a street rat or something and starved? I feel like Fei and Lan are pretty cuteee, sad that they died in Dante's route tbh, especially the way Lan died, it just seemed like she was so overcome with grief over Fei's death and didn't know how to cope, which is understandable since they're twins. Awww, I love how Fei said Lan was cuter when she said Lili with blonde hair was cute like a doll. 

It's like culture shock for Lili to come to Veleno and try to help someone but realise they're like high on drugs... I guess the twins lectured her in a way that they just wanted her to be more careful than thinking she's stupid, especially since they tried to cheer her up with a mantou haha, why not a cha siu bao though🥺🥺 To be fair, mantou were cheap, warm and filling back in the day, whereas cha siu bao was more luxurious I guess haha. Okay wait, excuse me!! The voices can't say it's mantou and then say it has meat and vegetables!! That's a meat and veggies bun, completely different loll! If even the twins think it's weird for these drug addicts to be so ferocious, I wonder if it's because Lee is starting to do his own thing to try and take over the Lao-Shu? It's nice that Yang saved Lan and Fei in Gau Lung Seng Caai, it's a pretty bad and lawless place after all so I'm sure anyone that passed by who helped them would be an angel tbh, and even if the Mafia may be a frowned upon way to live, it's still better than dying or living on the streets waiting for their death. But yeah...this is a crappy situation for Lili, especially since apparently the women who used to be with Yang ended up dead or living a life worse than death because they "knew too much". But I'm honestly surprised that he would let them know anything, so I'm kinda assuming that these women were gathering this information rather than him showing it to them, but I guess the opposite could happen since I doubt Yang really cares about their lives anyway.

Sfogliatelle sounds super hard to pronounce! But omg, I've seen that pastry before but never tried it either, I can understand Lan and Fei's excitement towards Lili making it for them, so jealous🥺 Not sure if it matches with yumcha lmao but whatever rolls with them. Anyway, I love how even though Fei and Lan are Lili's guards, they genuinely love hanging out with her, it's just so sweet~ they have no obligation to care about her but I think the three of them rub off each other really well since they're all essentially quite simple and kind. Lmaoo when they told Yang about how Lili really likes pandas and she was embarrassed thinking it was childish, but then Yang pat her head and said she can like what she likes, and even suggested bringing a real one here for her hahahaha. Okay, so I tried to ignore what could have possibly happened to Elena, but it's terrible!! Lee's got her high on drugs and is basically taking advantage of that to do what he wants with her. Honestly, I kinda just hope when she initially got captured after trying to save Lili, she didn't get gang raped by the Lao-Shu men before getting to Lee since she obviously didn't have the protection Lili did, and Elena is really cute so...sigh, it's heartbreaking to see her like that, and for Lili to not be able to do anything about it because even though Lee is technically Yang's subordinate, he has his own ambitions and his own men, and Lili really can't do anything about him. I just feel so bad for Elena since he's obviously taking advantage of her sexually, sighhh, I hope Lili actually gets to save her later on.

Not gonna lie, that CG with Yang covered in blood after killing a drug addict was pretty hot. Even though Lili says that Yang could have easily dealt with the guy without killing him, which is probably true, I'm not sure about leaving crazed guys like these roaming around on the streets especially when she was nearly the target of one in the beginning, it honestly doesn't help that they're obviously violent enough and lacking any mental capacity to understand who they're attacking. I just feel like Yang is "cleaning up" his own territory in his own way tbh. And lol, okay, I was right hahaha. LOL, does Lan have Guan Yu's weapon? Yep, I googled, it is hahahah lmao, that's amusing I guess. LOL at Orlok asking Lili why she's Yang's woman, and says that the Bible has informed him that love makes people mad hahaahha, I'm not sure which part that is but I find it so funny how he's basically calling her crazy for being with Yang. I admit that I've been waiting eagerly to see Lili in a cheongsam/qipao dress but omg, I feel so sorry for her considering how revealing it is, and it's tight because it's Lan's size too like dang, not only must it be uncomfortable physically, but it's uncomfortable because all these Lao-Shu men are jeering at her trying to see her underwear. Not surprised Yang was so mad and pulled her out of the room lol, but I honestly feel for Lili, she didn't have a choice since Lan and Fei said they would kill her if she didn't wear it, and like obviously they were playing with her and they wouldn't do such a thing, but after realising that they're not really her allies and would always prioritise the Lao-Shu and Yang, I'm not surprised she would think so. I wanted to cry when she cried because she's basically been fearing for her life this whole time and Yang's mood changes are pretty unpredictable for her so she's definitely stressed, the poor girl🥺 Awww, Yang personally went to get Lili a proper cheongsam, and it was a white one with gold embroidery! I guess he likes how pure but elegant she is? Hahaha. Nice that Lan apologised to Lili about the dress and properly thanked her for the sfogliatella, the twins are so cute, I love them.

OMG LOL, Yang really ordered a stuffed panda toy from the mainland for her!! It literally rode a ship to come here just for her hahaha, it's so sweet and cute of him to do that (even though this particular panda toy is a bit ugly tbh lmao). I kinda wanna feel sorry for the guy who tried to give Yang info to save his family or something, but he betrayed the Visconti and told something important like where they were going to attack Yang, so not really lol. I just feel sorry for Lili having to see the guy die in front of her and have blood splattered over the food, yeah that's disgusting lol. Lmao when the twins got excited over Yang eating Lili's half-eaten bun hahaha. I also found it pretty cute how Lan noticed that Yang was only eating Lili's pastries out of all the desserts haha. It's actually pretty amusing how the twins introduce the tea of the day and Lili tells them what she baked for the day, yumcha for them always seems so peaceful lol. Tbh, I forgot about the human trafficking the Lao-Shu did so it was surprising to see a live trade of it, and pretty sad to think about all these women who were made to get addicted by drugs then sold off in Asia, it's just terrifying to think of. In a way, I wonder if it was a blessing for those women to have been killed due to Gil and Dante bombing the trade ship and burning it down... I feel sorry for Lili that Yang dragged her here to experience all this, but considering his reaction and stuff, it seems like he feels like he lacks what makes people "human", so he tries to bring Lili along to stuff to see her reaction and kind of want to see through her what is supposedly normal and what is not, what any normal person would be angry and what they wouldn't? Or maybe what he lacks is the ability to "feel" things? Since he seems to gauge things by whether they're "boring" or not, so I guess anything that makes him feel some sort of "emotion" is what drives him on to do what he does? Although for a guy that doesn't feel much for other things, he's very understanding and considerate towards Lili, but I guess it's also because he knows people's strengths and limits well. Omgggg the CG of Yang taking her hand and leaving the forest, is she wearing the white cheongsam?! It's so cute on her!! Must be super uncomfortable to walk in a forest with it though, I can see why she tripped at night, but honestly seeing this now, I would be surprised if she could keep up with Yang and them in that dress lolll.

Although I love how sexy their first time was, I'm surprised Lili gave herself to him already, like didn't she just realise she likes him?! I understand she's willing to offer herself to him if he'll save Elena but she herself also understood that saving Elena didn't just mean taking her away from Lee, it also meant that she needed to help her get off the drugs and willingly leave him and go back to "normal", so I feel like she just went too much with the flow with Yang lol. She's still confused about what kind of person he is and whether she wants to be with him, and yet she got mesmerised by him, which I guess in a sense can't be helped since he is pretty attractive haha, but c’mon human trafficking. Btw her white negligee was beautiful, Yang has good tastes in clothing~ but loll, he really likes white doesn't he. I have to agree with Yang, Lee as a "villain" was pretty boring and disappointing, I honestly thought he would be more interesting (especially since he's kinda pretty too~) but he turned out like such a basic villain that wanted to take over the Lao-Shu but was too weak and not calculative enough haha. On another note, I'm surprised Dante was killed rather easily by Yang, but anyway Dante really shouldn't have tried to corner him by himself. Anywayyy, I'm surprised Lili doesn't feel bad about it though, like I know she doesn't really know Dante (but then again, she didn't know those girls on the boat) but as Yang said, Dante lost/died to Yang because he was trying to "protect" Lili and not hurt her. So even if he may not be someone she can trust, I find it saddening that other than not liking seeing people die in front of her, she couldn't even give some sympathy for Dante who genuinely tried his best to not hurt her... And Dante is such a cinnamon roll so it's sad loll. I feel bad for Nicola though. Honestly, if I was Nicola, I would hate and want to kill Lili too, it's not like he cares about the Key Maiden thing anyway, and honestly from his perspective, I would be so mad that Dante died because of some silly girl enraptured by Yang and condones all the crap he does compared to Gil and Dante.

It's kinda funny and cute how she's so smitten with Yang that even though she thought about taking Elena back to the church, she never thought about returning even though it's her home lol. It's also kinda cute how sweet Yang has been to Lili, especially when he poured a drink for a subordinate that was insisting on Lili pouring it lmao, he was so intense about it😂 Pretty terrible for Nicola to hold the church kids hostage to lure Yang out, even if he's not planning to kill them, he's already mentally scarred them. I think it's really cute how Fei and Lan decided by themselves that they want to help because they understand the desire to protect their home, so even if Yang refuses to go, they'll go. I just hope nothing happens to them because I love the twins! Anyway, it's interesting of Lili to say that she couldn't believe the Falzone would do such a thing even though she decided that she couldn't put her trust in Dante before? Lol, like what do you really know about them Lili if you thought you couldn't trust them before? Gotta love how Lili was happy to hear Yang's confession, and how if she ever wanted to leave him before he got bored, he'd rather kill her than let her go lol! I like Yang, but dang I'm definitely more scared than swooning over it lmao. On another note, even though Lili's actions are irrational and she might come to regret it one day lol, I guess I can to an extent understand the idea of not accepting someone's actions but still loving them. 

Anyway, why didn't Nicola and Gil band together to get rid of Yang? What was the point of Nicola trying to get rid of Yang himself at the church? That was such a waste, there's so many better opportunities to try and kill Yang without having to take such a huge gamble, not to mention that Nicola and them are at a great disadvantage against Yang when it's one-on-one. It's basically impossible for them to defeat Yang by themselves because they rely on guns and Yang has the agility and speed to dodge most bullets, and on the other hand, they're quite incapable of dodging Yang's weapon because of how unique it is and how strong Yang is. I'll say that Nicola and Gil were pretty silly for the best ending but I guess they needed to die in order for Yang's ambitions to succeed, so I guess it is fitting to call it Yang's best ending, but not really Lili's haha. But since she seems okay with it and just kinda rolls with all these deaths, she's pretty much complicit in it all now lol, like excuse me Lili, they killed so many people, so they did a "good job" and should get a nice dinner? Hahaha, she's totally living the Mafia life, I don't think she's a normal civilian anymore lol. I still love how much Fei and Lan are fond of Lili though, and always try their best to protect her. Going to London as their next destination sounds interesting but yeah, this is a very different holiday than it is with the other guys lmao.

Okay, in the good ending, Elena seems weirdly interested in who killed Lee, and she's weirdly "sane", so I guess she's more on the insane side? Haha. I always found it kinda frustrating that they never really talked about what happened to Elena, and it just kinda brushes it off and she kinda goes back to normal, so I'm a bit more happy now that they're addressing it here and showing that in a sense, Lee saved her from being drugged and transported back to the mainland where she would have then died. And it is pretty disheartening to hear that she was drugged to the point that she probably didn't even realise how much she was "used" by those men. Anyway, I feel sorry for Lan and Fei because they're very emotionally kind people, they're just where they are because of their circumstances and because of Yang. As for Elena... I feel sorry for Lili, but I guess in a sense it's true that you can't really save everyone...even though she tried. Because of her, Lan probably died so I don't really feel sorry for Elena anymore. On the other hand, Yang dying because he hesitated to kill Lili along with Gil was pretty saddening. He always says he doesn't really care about her thoughts and feelings and only selfishly wants her, but in the end, he was the one who loved her the most. Lili doubted him and his love a lot in this ending and Yang himself probably doubted his own feelings too, so it's kinda saddening to see it all turn out like that. Honestly, I don't know which part of this ending was good though LOL, it was definitely much more bittersweet, but yeah I quite liked it and it probably flowed better than the best ending too haha. I guess it's good in the fact that now the Visconti kinda rule/take care of Burlone and get along well with the Falzone? Hahahaha. Guess it's a good ending for the masses lol!

Anyway, I feel sorry for the Yang in the tragic ending, is this what happens when he indulges in Lili? He lets his guard down? Omgg btw, there's so many nice kiss CGs with Yang! Love how Yang carried her around jumping across buildings or something lmao. Yang arriving like a prince on the balcony is so beautiful, I love it🥺🥺🥺 but it's so weird of Yang to do all that hahaha. Is it supposed to allude to Romeo and Juliet? Hahaha. Honestly, Yang is so sweet to make a commotion just so he can see her, I'm dying, my heart is so full🥺 Ooh, I love this tragic ending! I especially like that it didn't go as I thought it would (Yang dying), instead Lili died because Yang used her as a shield to kill Dante. It's quite saddening that Lili still loved him even as she died😭 It was also kinda nice to see that despite Yang sacrificing her, he does regret it to an extent and I think I kinda like tragic it is in that sense. I always feel so sad when the twins die, sigh, but I'm just glad they got to die together. I like the variety of bad endings, I knew there would be one where Yang would get bored of her and give her to the other members, but yeah that was pretty hard to stomach imagining her life from then on... Anyway, I really enjoyed the short story, it was so cute how Yang made Lili braid his hair, and loll when he kept making excuses that it was annoying to braid but didn't want to cut it lol. Lmao in the extra story (after the best ending) when Yang got angry over the gentleman guy kissing the back of her hand, and Lili told him it's normal, and Yang's like you're a cheater😂😂

Overall, I really loved Yang and his route. Some parts of it are iffy in terms of stuff like how Lee and his part was more boring than he looked, how our Mafia bosses seem to make silly decisions just to make it the "best" ending and how Lili kinda throws all sense out of the window because of love, but I still loved it. Honestly, I'm not usually a fan of characters like Yang who would kill girls like the heroine at the drop of a hat depending on his mood, but he was so hot, I could see why Lili was mesmerised, especially Okamoto Nobuhiko's voice omggg🥺 I relished listening to Yang talk all the time because it really captured the type of guy he was, seductive, dangerous but enrapturing. I also loved how Yang never really "changed" for Lili, he didn't suddenly become a better person, she didn't suddenly become a "bad" person (although she did compromise a lot of things to be with him I guess lol), but they still worked out because they liked each other and did things for each other that warmed their hearts. He's the Mafia guy I wanted all this time hahaha! A terrible guy in real life but great in otome😂 I guess there's something about ruthless and dangerous guys doing stuff like giving stuffed panda toys to girls that make me swoon lmao. Yang was such a playful flirt, it was fun. Oh and omg, I honestly think Fei and Lan really made this route so much more fun too, I love the twins. They're so cute, deadly but also super kind, I loved their companionship and honestly think they're probably the best subordinate/secondary characters compared to the other characters in the other Mafia groups. It was also nice to see a different perspective to the normal Mafia dynamic that Dante and Gil have, since Dante and Gil are respected for either their kindness or their charisma, but for Yang, it's the fear he instills and his strength, it was good to see dodgy subordinates too lolll. Anyway, I really loved the tragic ending so much because seeing Yang deny he loves Lili whilst constantly thinking about her and in a sense regretting he killed her is just so tragic and interesting. Oh and the CGs are so good with Yang!! It was so hard to pick ones to be my absolute favourite😭
