#so maybe a proper 6 would fix this problem

i think part of why i'm not that upset about our performances this year is because i'm honestly not expecting that much, i don't think this team will ever be That kind of bayern team and i don't think that even the best coach could change it. we're missing too many key positions and maybe there's a way to make it work with our current squad, but i think it would require sacrifices our players aren't willing to make
#like if im being really honest. i think we're missing more than a 6#and an RB#and a goalkeeper#which is already a lot LOL#i think there's something funky going on at number 10#i think jamal keeps playing bc he drops deeper to support the midfield#whereas thomas likes to play more advanced#but i think thomas is better at organizing the attack in big games#which also happen to be where we need a stronger midfield#so maybe a proper 6 would fix this problem#in allowing either jamal or thomas to play more advanced#and perhaps allowing both to play at the same time#i assume part of why thomas didnt play yesterday was injury#but i do think his leadership on the pitch was lacking#particularly after 2-0#we lost our heads a bit and could have conceded more#anyway. idk. it's 6am and i'm waiting at the airport lol#so you get more of my thoughts#i know some of yall are tuchel out at all costs but. while i agree the big performanced arent there. we are improving#so im kinda on the side of i'd like to get through the fall and see what he can do after the january window#bayern

Contagiously Human.
[Brian Moser x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: Killing was always the easiest part for him, but this… you… well, as fate would have it, that created a new problem for him. {GIF Creds: brothermoser}
WC: 1881
Category: Plot-Driven, Maybe Some Fluff/Angst…?
Someone asked me if I’d ever thought about writing Biney… and well, I decided to put my thought into actual words 🤷♀️
Just for some minor clarification, this is pretty much a “what if” fic in which Dexter does not end his life. This being said, I picture this taking place around season 5-6 ish.
『••✎••』
Hesitation.
The thing that makes or breaks a killer. The line that separates predator from prey. It's the pause between life and death, the time a man takes to make the decision, and whether he'll live to regret it or not.
He’s never had hesitation. Not once. In fact, he relishes in it; he finds peace in knowing that he can decide one way or another and be content with either outcome. It makes him a dangerous man, unpredictable, a ticking time bomb.
His baby brother, his blood, had the disease. The disease of being too much of a good person, feeling guilt, having morals, a sense of what's right and wrong. He was weak, he hesitated, and he wasn’t even aware of how much the disease was eating him alive until that Trinity Killer came around.
He was supposed to protect his brother, save him from himself, and show him the proper way of things. The way of survival. Of the hunt. But no, Brian wasn’t there to catch him. To stop him.
So, as all good brothers do, he’s here to fix him. To set him straight and rid him of the disease. Forever.
It's an easy task, really. His little brother is so trusting and caring that he'd do anything for the ones he loved. Why not start by showing him why he shouldn't?
Because clearly, the loss of his apparent wife wasn’t enough. He needed to understand, truly and absolutely, that the world would only disappoint him. It's a harsh lesson but a necessary one.
So, that led him to you. His brother’s friend from school. The woman, aside from Dexter’s poor excuse for a sister, that his brother actually cared about.
Just like him, you were naive. Trusting, too. Friendly to everyone, completely unaware of the monsters that hid in the shadows. His brother included.
You might’ve never killed someone, but with everything else, it was clear why his brother was so interested in you. He always loved the innocent ones.
So, the question was, how would he go about it? He could take you somewhere, but the element of surprise was an important factor. You had to believe you were safe and comfortable before he could make his move.
A Debra repeat? Or a more... Unique approach. He'd think about it, plan it out, and strike at the perfect moment.
He wouldn’t hesitate, after all.
When the day presented itself, the stars had aligned, and everything was just right; he made his move. It was noon, a warm Sunday.
You were in your little bookshop, reading one of the books in your free time. Business had been slow today, as most people were enjoying the weather.
You never saw him coming. He was the type to blend into the crowd, the type that you'd see once and forget about. The type you'd pass on the street without a second thought.
He had his ways, of course, and his way was simple. A simple, kind greeting. One that had your eyes lighting up as if you'd never seen another person before.
He was charming, handsome, the perfect man to lure you in. You didn’t stand a chance.
That's what led him here, picking up your fallen book and handing it to you, watching the smile that graced your lips.
A romance novel, of course. How ironic.
"Oh, uh, thank you. That’s very kind."
You smiled, a hint of blush dusting your cheeks. Far more tame than that Debra woman, thankfully. He didn’t have to fight back the urge to roll his eyes.
"Tea and romance? Can’t say I blame you." He pulled a gentle grin, one that had you blushing further, more so of embarrassment this time.
"It's the first of a series. A favorite, actually, I’ve been rereading it." You explained, holding the book to your chest. He didn’t miss the way your thumb rubbed over the spine, fond and gentle.
Just from that, he knew. He was going to have fun with you. “Believe it or not, I read the first one too. A few months ago, actually. It was quite the page-turner. The ending had me on the edge of my seat, I swear."
You laughed, soft and airy, and for a moment, he found himself smiling genuinely. His lie was working, and he couldn’t believe it was that easy.
"I've only heard mixed reviews on it.” You spoke, moving to place the book back on the shelf. "I'm glad to hear you liked it. Marienne’s death was hard, wasn't it?"
"Very." He agreed though it was a lie. He had to pretend he cared. "It was a shame; I really enjoyed the character."
"You did?" You raised a brow, surprised. “Most people didn’t. Given that she doesn’t even exist.”
Shit.
He cleared his throat, a slight pause. He was so blinded by the idea of finally getting to his brother that he'd forgotten.
You were a reader, an author; of course, you would know the ins and outs of the story. The characters, the plot, and every little detail. Why would you not?
First rule of hunting. Don’t get cocky.
"Alright, I admit. I've been caught." He gave a small shrug, his voice holding a hint of sheepishness. Maybe you’d fall for it. “I couldn’t help myself; I figured you wouldn’t appreciate my love for fantasy books."
"Fantasy?" You tilted your head, and he knew. You bought it. You were a sucker for fantasy; you didn't like it when others looked down on them.
"I'm a bit of a nerd. Guilty pleasure."
"I didn’t peg you for the fantasy type…” You raised your eyebrow, though a smile still rested on your lips—a look of amusement.
"Really? Most people can't seem to look past the collared shirt.
"No, it's not that. It's your aura." You shook your head, and now, it was his turn to raise his brow. What the hell did that mean?
"My aura?"
"Those books in your hands..” You nodded towards his bag, a small smirk pulling at the corner of your lips. "You're definitely not a casual reader. My guess is everything in there is a throwaway.”
"And that means...?"
"You're bullshit through and through. You don't like romance or fantasy. In fact, I think you absolutely hate it."
Oh. Oh, you clever thing. Now, he truly understood why his brother connected with you so much. You'd figured him out, and yet, you had no clue. You were clever, smarter than you let on.
"Alright,” He held his hands up in mock surrender. He was enjoying this; for once, someone could see through his façade. See his true self. It was a rush.
“If you’re so smart, what do I like then?"
"Hmm, let's see...” And just like that, you were off with him in tow. You were taking him along on a trip through the shelves, looking through the genres, searching and searching.
He was intrigued, his eyes locked on you, his ears drinking in the sound of your hums and contemplation. Your mind was running, spinning, thinking. You were truly in your element.
"Well, let's start with what I know. You like horror." You said, turning towards the horror section and picking up a book. "You seem like the type who enjoys the dark side of humanity and likes to see the bad guy win."
Damn.
He was almost impressed. Almost.
"How could you possibly know that?"
"Eyes. They tell the most about a person. You’ve seen a lot, and it shows. I could tell just by looking at you. Your eyes are... Cold. Empty." You said, and it was then that he realized you were more observant than you appeared. Naivety might’ve not been a part of your personality, but trust was. You trusted a lot. Too much. “Are you a cop, by chance? You've got the whole detective thing going on."
"Prosthetist, actually." He answered, his hand reaching out and picking up a book at random. He wasn't a fan of fiction, not really. He preferred nonfiction; it was more realistic—less pointless details.
"Oh, wow, I was completely off. I didn’t expect that." You mused, looking up at him with those eyes. You had such an expressive face; it was amazing how easy you were to read. He could practically see the gears turning. How could he use this?
"Expected an axe murderer, did you?" He joked, a smile tugging at his lips.
"Maybe. Wouldn’t that be a twist?" You grinned a glint of amusement in your eye. “Speaking of, that’s probably what you like. Thrillers. Those kinds of stories are full of twists and turns. No one is who they appear to be. Kinda like you, hm?"
"Ouch."
"Sorry, am I being too honest?"
"No, I like it. Keep going." He was having fun. With Debra, it was exhausting. She was so stubborn, so headstrong, she never listened. It took him about three coffees just to have enough patience to deal with her sob story.
But with you, you were a breath of fresh air. He didn’t have to force himself awake or hide his boredom. He could just enjoy it, relish in the moment, and the fact that you were so easy to play with.
You pulled out three books: two thrillers and one horror. A classic and a new one. "These are what I recommend. Start with Primal Fear; that’s the one I believe you'll like the most. The first one might take you a while, but if you stick with it, the sequel will be worth it.
He reached forward, his hand brushing over yours, his touch lingering as he took the book. He purposely brushed his thumb against the back of your hand, just enough for a spark to go through your veins.
He saw the way your breath hitched, and he smirked. This was too easy.
"Thank you, you've been a great help."
"One more thing before you go." You spoke, stopping him. His eyes moved up from the book to your own, and there he saw something that made him falter.
Something that made him freeze longer than he should have.
You had a fire behind those eyes. A flame that burned with a passion, a curiosity that threatened to eat him alive. A want, a need, to get into his head. To peel him open and look inside.
Your eyes weren't cold or empty like his. They were alive. Full of life.
"Books don’t impress women,” Your voice was low, a secret, something meant only for him to hear. “It’s the passion that opens their hearts. You have nothing if you can't show it."
"I think I've misjudged you." He spoke, his hand resting on the shelf above your head. He had no choice but to lean closer, and he felt the way your breath fanned across his skin.
"Oh?"
"Yes. You're a lot more than you appear, aren’t you?"
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"
The question was left unanswered. He didn't give a response because, in truth, he didn't know.
He left that day not with his brother’s cure or even the thought of him. He left with three books.
Three books and the disease he believed to be immune to…
Hesitation.
[@numetalnerd2007] Since you asked, I figured this would automatically mean you were interested. At least I hope you were 💀
That being said, please be nice to me for this one since it’s my first time writing for Biney here (and I haven’t rewatched season 1 in forever), so his character probably isn’t 100% solid. It’s a work in progress 🙏✨
Also, for all my Joe Goldberg fans out there, did you catch the reference I made? I see a slight resemblance between Brian and Joe, so I wanted to sneak it in a little something. I think it’s the hair, honestly.

Springtime Fushiguros♪
Context-: exploring the memories of childhood of fushiguros, marking the spring time of you and satoru gojo.
Basically im traumatized by all the stuff going on in jjk universe, so imma create my own happiness.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/8093c0a5161d9060f55614a4e3f223e1/6e43efd92b296f79-b3/s540x810/65bb0c30cd673fb1ae73269c02580e958fd9b571.jpg)
The pink cherry petals covered the grounds, sweet smell lingering in the air, distant laughs of some family echoed from the field you were wandering in, thinking about the reason, he might have called you here.
Satoru gojo, the strongest jujutsu sorcerer to be alive suddenly called you last night, after having months of no conversation. He said he needed a favour from you, what on the earth could it be?
It couldn't be related to any sorcery since you weren't in this field, atleast now you weren't. Moreover, he has the potential to wipe out an entire country with his limitless. He is the first member in his clan to inherit six eyes, his birth distorted the balance of the world. What favour would he need from someone like you?
Or maybe it's the higher ups!
Your eyes widened, chest tightened, almost struggling to take a proper breath at this thought. There's no way this would happen. You had been carefull. Carefull not to let it out.
'Sup!' your thoughts were cut short by the voice of the white haired guy, as you turned to face him. He was in his regular student uniform. Eyes as deep as the mysterious blue sea peeked from the sunglasses. He had a playful face as always, though you sensed something off in it and you knew what it was. Others might not notice but you do. You always have.
'I might not be much of help yk right?' you smiled a bit at him nervous at what demand he might make.
'Ahh, it's not something like that. I'm not forcing you, but—' his voice trails, maybe finding right words, 'I would like you to take care of someone.' He hesitated a bit, rubbing his hand on his neck, his eyes directed to a bench on the field.
Your heart skipped a beat.
Two kids. A glum faced boy, probably 5 or 6 years old, and a cute girl who seemed a bit older than the boy. They are probably siblings.
You should have known he was never yours.
'Zeni'ns.' he said fixing his sunglasses. The girl smiled a bit at you which you gladly reciprocated, while the guy refused to glance you a look. 'Umm, what did you say?' you asked again, not paying much attention before, busy observing the kids. (Not to mention your heart which was breaking in pieces)
'They are zeni'ns.'
'Zeni'ns?? They are not your kids?'
Gojo be like-: ಠಿヮಠ
'I'm 18. How could you expect me to have my own kids?' he said being sceptical.
A brief wave of relief washed your nerves. 'Oh' you couldn't help but let out a chuckle at your overthinking.
'They are Fushiguros—' gojo started to explain when, 'you just said that they were zeni'ns.'
'Would you lemme finish? They are basically toji's kids. He took in his late wife's last name.' a shudder ran through your spine at the mention of his name. How can he be so calm while talking about it?
He continued, 'Before his death, he mentioned about his kid, Megumi. Megumi fushiguro. The kid is about to be sold to the zenin clan.'
'But he's just a kid!'
'yeah, I don't think none of us would want that. So, i would take care of that and the financial support of both Megumi and his step sister Tsumiki fushiguro. But the problem is I won't be there all the time to look at them, as I'm continuously assigned with new missions.'
'So, you want me to supervise? I can do that, but I can't be much to prote—' he cuts off your words.
'Nah! Don't worry about that. I will protect the three of you. I want us to raise them together. While we date.'
You could believe your ears, when he said the last part. You had always liked satoru gojo, and once even drunk confessed him, embarrassing yourself to death. He never answered that though. Everything after that took a form of such stormy blunder. Satoru had to go through all those horrible situations, losing someone very close to him. A memory you hate and desperately want to trade. Everything fell apart and you all drifted away. And when you decided to leave, for everyone's safety including yours, satoru wasn't there.
'kk. I will help you raise them.' you gladly accepted, shooting a kind look at the kids. This was a dream come true to you. A family. You desired it desperately, wanting to have a family, ever since you lost yours.
'Thanks. Move in with me then.'
'Sure.' you smiled to yourself.
And that was the first time you saw Megumi and Tsumiki fushiguro, taking them in, staring your new life with Satoru gojo.
A new trail of memories are yet to be traced in the springtime of your life.

Evan woke up gasping, his shirt plastered to his back and his hair stuck to his face. He rubbed the tears from his eyes quickly to focus on the clock. 5:48 a.m. An ominous feeling spread through his entire body, but he took comfort in reminding himself that nothing bad could happen while Fredbear was watching over him.
The fabric of his plushie was worn and stuffing was sticking out between some of his joints, but Evan couldn’t bear to part with him long enough for proper repairs to be done. Father always said it would take a few days to fix the plushie if he wanted it done properly, and Evan would never accept a poor repair job, so instead of giving up the bear for repairs, he just kept Fredbear as he slowly deteriorated more and more each day.
He didn’t feel too bad about it though; Michael had done the exact same thing to his Foxy plushie, and he’d had his toy much less time than Evan had. Evan swapped out the destroyed plushie with his own, but Michael hadn’t seemed to notice, even as the original plushie’s head fell off somewhere, making it impossible to repair the poor fox.
The vest was coming a bit loose, but Evan ignored that. Fredbear didn’t need the vest anyway. It wasn’t his identity any more than Foxy’s hat was, and besides, no one remembered that Foxy even normally came with a hat. He squeezed the small bear, humming softly to himself as he waited for 6 a.m. to arrive.
Evan walked cautiously down the hallway to the kitchen, his guard still up from his unpleasant night’s rest.
“You stink,” Elizabeth complained. She was already in the kitchen eating her cereal while Michael was pouring his own bowl.
Michael rolled his eyes. “Welcome to reality Lizzie. People sweat and have body odor.”
“You never stink in the morning,” she retorted as Evan set Fredbear on the counter before climbing on it to reach the cabinet.
“I put on deodorant. Ev, get off the counter. I can get that for you.” Michael grabbed another bowl from the cabinet and filled it with cereal as well. “I’ll get Evan some when I go to the store, okay?”
“You better,” Elizabeth grumbled into her cereal.
“Plus, it’ll be fine. He’s probably going to shower before we leave for school anyway.”
Elizabeth scowled at that. “But then I won’t have time to do my hair.”
“Then I’ll do it.” Michael rolled his eyes again. “You talk like you have a terrible life, Liz.”
“Maybe I do!” Elizabeth snapped, shoveling more cereal into her mouth.
“Good morning to you too,” Mother said, yawning as she walked into the kitchen. “Are we having cereal for breakfast today?”
“Yes Ma’am,” Michael said, grabbing Evan around the waist to drag him from his spot on the counter. “I was planning to go to the grocery store today to pick up a few things.”
“No nonsensical things we don’t need now, Michael. You know how your father hates that sort of thing.”
“Of course,” Michael’s voice sounded stiff, but he maintained his politeness. “Do you want some cereal as well?”
“That’d be lovely, darling.” She sat down beside Elizabeth. “You children are so wonderful.”
Evan felt himself finally starting to calm down. Today was a good day. Mother and Michael were both in a good mood, a rare occurrence, if he was being honest with himself. Elizabeth’s mood was always sour, depending on who she decided to blame for her problems, but she was manageable. He just hoped they didn’t see his Father before school. That was the one thing that could ruin the peaceful moods of his mother and brother before they left for school.
“Do you want to go to the store with me, Evan?” Michael said abruptly after they’d all finished eating. “So you know where to look for deodorant next time?”
“I guess so,” Evan replied quietly, hoping that was the right answer.
It must’ve been, because Michael smiled faintly and ruffled his hair. His expression faltered, and he made a face though. Michael wiped his hand on his pants. “You really need to shower before we leave though, Little Man. Lizzie was right, no offense. You are kind of gross this morning.”
Evan shrugged. He didn’t want to explain the nightmares, assuming it would put Michael in a sour mood. He didn’t want to ruin the moment.
“Fredbear’s not looking too good lately either,” Michael mused. “Want me to stitch him up for you?”
“Huh?” Evan blinked up at his brother. “Fredbear’s fine.”
“His stuffing’s going everywhere-“
“He doesn’t need anything. He’s fine!” Evan scooped the little bear into his arms, and Michael raised his hands in surrender.
“Fine, fine. If you change your mind, let me know. It would only take, like, 30 minutes, tops.”
Evan didn’t reply to that. Instead, he changed the subject. “I’m going to go shower.”
“Okay.” Michael almost sounded disappointed. But that didn’t make sense. Normally he was happy to be rid of him. Especially so near his birthday, when his friends would be coming over all the time.
On the walk to school, Elizabeth wouldn’t stop gushing about how wonderful her hair was. She practically begged Michael to make it a more regular occurrence, but Michael just shrugged. Evan could see the smile on his face though. He knew it was only a matter of time before Elizabeth got her way.
“Mike!” one of Michael’s friends tried to call him over, but Michael ignored him.
“Come on, you two gotta get to class,” he said softly, putting his hand on Evan’s shoulder to direct him away from the other kid. With a startle of surprise, Evan saw a faint frown on Michael’s face. Maybe he’d had some kind of fight with his friends? Evan couldn’t ask about it, just in case.
“You can’t ignore us forever!” one of the boys shouted angrily while Michael guided Evan in the direction of the store after school.
“Just keep walking,” Michael muttered. He seemed very tense, and Evan wasn’t sure he could do anything to reassure his brother. He just did as Michael asked, hurrying along so they could get out of range.
A few short minutes later, they were walking into the store. Evan felt odd. He’d never been to the store without his parents before. Normally, he and Elizabeth only came when Mother was looking for something specific, or when Michael was sick, and Father was going to the store instead. Being here with Michael was… different.
“They don’t get it,” Michael whispered, seeming to forget who he was talking to.
Evan blinked at him, but Michael didn’t elaborate until after they’d filled the basket with necessary groceries and Evan’s deodorant.
“Everyone expects so much from me,” he mused. “My friends seem to think I have to give them every second of my attention. Mother thinks I have to be responsible all the time. Father…” Michael shook his head. “Even Uncle Henry assumes things. It’s awful, Ev.”
“Maybe it’s just because they like you so much,” Evan said quietly, hoping not to upset him.
“Nah. They expect me to disappoint them. Aside from my friends, anyway. It’s just so stupid. All this shit I have to put up with.” Michael froze. “I mean- Just forget I said that.”
Evan giggled involuntarily, surprising them both. “You’re not seriously apologizing for saying ‘shit,’ are you?” Evan asked. “Kids say that all the time at school.”
“Yeah, but if Mother or Father catches you saying that-“
“Who’s going to tell them?” Evan blinked innocently up at Michael.
He groaned. “I forgot how insufferable you are.”
“Only when I can be.” Evan grinned, feeling secure in his behavior. “Let’s get home. I have homework to do.”
“Ugh, don’t remind me.” Michael shook his head, but the faint smile Evan had seen that morning returned.
“Want to watch T.V. with me?” Michael said when he walked into the kitchen.
Evan guessed he was finished with his own homework, considering his confidence in the way he sat beside Evan at the counter.
“What are we watching?” Evan replied, continuing his notes while Fredbear observed them both.
“The Immortal and the Restless,” Michael said with confidence. “And, it’s not even scary, so you won’t wet yourself when we watch.”
Evan shook his head disparagingly. “I got scared watching a movie with you one time-“
“It gave you nightmares, Ev! I got in so much trouble for that, you know.”
“Then why offer to watch something with me again?” Evan asked before realizing what he was implying.
“I-“ Michael sputtered. “C’mon, man.”
Evan put his pencil down and stared at his brother. He wasn’t getting angry, which meant Evan could actually ask serious questions without fearing consequences for it. “You spend all your time making fun of me, and teasing me, and scaring me, and making me miserable. Why should I trust that you actually want to watch something with me?”
Evan expected a lot of potential reactions to his comments. Yelling, maybe. What he didn’t expect was for Michael to crumple in on himself. “I… Look, it’s not…” Michael swallowed harshly. “I can’t say anything to justify my past actions. You have every reason to be weary. But maybe I’ve changed, Ev. I want to spend time with you. I’m tired of pretending all the time, and I-“
“You’re not kidding,” Evan said softly. “Were you exaggerating this morning, then? When you said it would only take 30 minutes to fix Fredbear?”
“What? No. It’s a bunch of little fixes. You just gotta have the right thread. And if we hurry,” Michael glanced at the clock nervously, “I know Father has thread in his office.”
“You…” Evan blinked. “You’d do that for me?”
“I gotta prove my point somehow, don’t I?” Michael jumped up from his seat. “I’ll be right back.”
Evan turned back to his homework, no longer able to fully comprehend what was happening here. Was Michael genuine? Was he really trying to be a better brother? Evan honestly had no idea, but the best way to find out was to wait until the summer, when Michael was always really nasty usually. For now, though, he’d settle for help repairing Fredbear.
Michael returned, out of breath and a little bit shaky. “We only have a few hours before Father is supposed to be home.”
“Lucky you said it wouldn’t take very long,” Evan said softly, expecting a contradiction.
“Still frightening to think about,” Michael replied. “Okay, I got this.” He threaded the needle and looked at Evan expectantly. Reluctantly, Evan handed his brother the battered gold bear.
Michael set him up gently on the kitchen counter, tucking the stuffing back where it belonged as he started his row of stitching. Evan knew the seams had been originally on the inside of Fredbear, but Michael had tried explaining that he couldn’t fix Fredbear like that. He’d rolled his eyes actually, saying that doing it that way would take a sewing machine and a trip to the workshop, something Michael was not willing to do without permission.
So Evan had to accept that the repairs would be visible, but at least Fredbear would be ready to fight off another night of terrors.
Evan didn’t mean to fall asleep against Michael’s shoulder while watching the show. In his defense, he didn’t have a clue what was going on, and Michael was too busy watching to explain it to him. Evan ended up giving up on the show to study his brother’s face. It surprised him how energetic Michael seemed while watching the screen, but then, Evan guessed this was one of his rare moments where there weren’t expectations dragging him down.
He stirred as Michael carried him upstairs. Confused, Evan blinked sleepily at his brother. “What-“
“Shhh, go back to sleep,” Michael said softly. “I just want to make sure you’re not going to have nightmares.”
Evan always had nightmares. That was the general idea of everything going on. He hated the idea of disappointing Michael, especially after how nice the day had been, but he couldn’t control his dreams. Not now and certainly not ever. He couldn’t even remember a time when he didn’t have nightmares every night. But he had a feeling Michael wouldn’t be swayed in this, so he just nodded against his brother’s chest and closed his eyes again.
Evan didn’t have any nightmares that night. Or at least, they weren’t nightmares he remembered. He woke up that morning with Michael curled protectively around him, like Michael was afraid of something happening. Evan wasn’t particularly worried about that, though.
For the first time in years, he felt content and safe.

Wow! It's been a long while, but it's finally here! DRDT Chapter 2 is back with part 2 starting since more than a week ago!
...Oh? What's that? There's some reveals that is damaging my theory and I should get to fixing? Awwww, man.... what a drag.... I am so doomed... nanchatte!
Anyways, hi! It's me, the dude who makes-overly-complex-and-ridiculously-long-theories-in-the-hopes-of-trying-to-solve-the-murder-case-that-not-many-people-agree-with-for-more-reasons-than-my-theory's-word-count. (Okay, the last part about the reasons is probably not true... yet!)
I am back yet again with some more updates regarding my theory.
NOOOOO!!! NOT AGAIN!!! PLEASE, I DON'T WANNA READ ANOTHER GODDAMN DICTIONARY LENGTH OF A THEORY POST!!!!
Woah! Calm down, imaginary self that is under the impression that some people were way too overwhelmed by my latest part of the theory post! You have nothing to worry about!
It would be silly of me to rewrite all of it again with some small changes. I will of course link up my part 5 later as source of reference, but really, all I'm gonna be doing here today is point out the newest problems with my theory ever since episode 12 and 13 and give my personal thoughts on those.
Also, to make sure that people hasn't forgotten what I've been all about since the beginning, I will do a short recap of my theory, displaying only what's most relevant to the murder case.
Besides, ain't no way I'm writing something this long ever again (except for maybe trying to solve the future chapters, but that's a matter for the far future).
With that said, I feel obliged to point out that this is spoilers for the fangan Danganronpa Despair Time Chapter 2, up until episode 13.
With that out of the way, let's get to it!
Hey look! I still remember how to use that show more button again, hurray! (I'm really sorry again to @1moreff-creator and everyone else who's been reading my very first posts last year that didn't have a show more button)
So, first things first, I'd like to apologize in advance because as amazing the episode 12 and 13 were, I will not be doing a reaction post of said episodes. I think I'm just too lazy to actually display my whole stream of consciousness through two whole videos and I think it is safe to say that practically all of us had a very similar reaction to those episodes.
What was the common reaction, you may ask? Well, it's simple, really... it went something like... OMG, THIS IS SO FUCKING HYPE! OMG!!! THAT WAS SO INSANE!!! THE DRAMA!!! DAVID BEING DAVID!!! THE LEVI REVEAL!!! THE FLASHBACK PART 2 SCENE!!! OMG, WHAT IS EDEN DOING?!! AREI IS HOLDING DAVID'S HANDS?! WE'RE FINALLY TALKING ABOUT THE MURDER METHODS?!?! OMG, SO GOOD!!!
...right? Yeah! I thought so! :D
Although I may not be showing proper and precise reactions to these episodes, if you're interested, I'd definitly recommend reading @venus-is-thinking 's, reactions on episode 12 and episode 13, @1moreff-creator 's reactions on episode 12 and episode 13 and @accirax 's reactions on episode 12 and episode 13. They're pretty good reads (and no, I'm not just saying this because they all believe that Eden is the culprit, I swear!).
And for those who are totally blind or new to my shenanigans, yes, I do believe that Eden is the culprit behind this murder case.
There is indeed a few problems that arose ever since the latest episodes, so to make sure that everyone is up to speed with what I'm gonna be talking about, I'm now going to be doing a short recap of the events, according to me.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
THE RECAP
DAY 1 : The day where everyone receives their mixed up secrets and explore the second floor. DAY 2 : The day where the attempted murder on Ace happened. DAY 3 : The day where Whit suggests David to chill for the evening in the relaxation room. DAY 4 : The day (morning) of the body discovery announcement.
Ever since Arei bullied Eden who then cried and exited the playground on DAY 2, that was what triggered Eden to decide to commit murder for the sake of escaping this hellish killing game. Knowing that her secret is that she kissed a girl, I deduced that she's probably trying to escape because she misses her beloved dearly.
So while she was off screen during most of that day, she spent time making plans for the murder set up and narrative, which is why she decided to share Arturo's secret (as seen in the flashback).
During the evening of DAY 2, Ace was working out in the gym, then he hears a conversation happening between David and Arei in the relax room. The conversation that Ace was quietly listening to did not happen in the evening of DAY 3, but rather the evening of DAY 2. Ace lied about when he was listening to that conversation.
At some point during the conversation or perhaps even after the conversation, Eden sneaks up on Ace and knocks him out with the turpentine that anyone could've gotten access to that day. Ace is Eden's chosen murder victim.
Sometime later, Eden eitheir used a letter or called out Arei's name to lure her into the playground or somewhere close to knock her unconscious with that very same turpentine. She then moves Arei's body into the relaxation room to lock her up inside because of the specific nighttime rules regarding that room.
Eden also brought old spares of clothing to cover Arei's body to make sure she doesn't get stained with starch from the water misting formula from the relaxation room.
During the night of DAY 2, she prepares the murder mechanism in the gym with some needed tools from the storage room and some wire that she took out from possibly a grandfather clock that she may have in her dorm. I deduced it as such because of Whit's description of everyone's dorms being suited to their needs.
I also deduced that there is actually a switch to turn on and off the fans, which is important since the attempted murder involved the fans. As Eden finished setting it up, as she was about to clear up with evidence, she heard someone using the elevator.
She hid in the dress up room, then Nico enters the second floor, looking for Ace to kill him. As Nico explores the gym, Teruko shortly enters the elevator to get to the second floor as well.
Teruko, looking for her spares, runs into Eden, who was hidden in the dress up room. After some talk, they heard a loud noise coming from the gym, which they both take a look inside.
Upon seeing this mess of a crime, Eden realised that her murder plan failed and that she needs to come up with a plan B really quick. So while she is taking time to "process this emotionally", Teruko was investigating.
Eden finally comes up with a plan B and figured that she needed to get her hands on the roll of tape ASAP. She managed to do so with a sleight of hand when Ace "suddenly wakes up", knocking Eden out of the way, distracting Teruko in the process.
Later that night, Eden proceeds with her plan B by making a murder mechanism in the playground. She also took the rope from the storage room. Once it's all properly set up, all's left was waiting for the relaxation to unlock at 8:00 AM on DAY 3.
In the morning of DAY 3, she retrieves Arei's unconscious body and proceeds with murdering Arei. Then, she proceeds to conceal the body somewhat behind the curtains in the relaxation room. She also grabs her glove, her monopad and the necessary materials in the dress up room for the next step of her plan.
She spends the rest of the morning to prepare her disguise trick. Then during lunchtime, Eden spends a short amount of time disguised as Arei to hide the actual time of death.
Once lunchtime is over, she returns to eitheir her or Arei's dorm to remove the disguise, spend time cleaning up, relax, power nap, etc. Then, during the evening of DAY 3, she spends time with Hu to fabricate her perfect alibi.
Later that evening, David explores the relaxation room. That's when he notices something wrong with the room and becomes the first person to discover Arei's dead body.
For some personal reasons, David brings the body back into the playground and hangs it by the swingset. Eitheir he or Eden (earlier in the morning) balls up the clothes and hides it in the closet of the dress-up room. Then, in the morning of DAY 4, David grabs everyone's attention to the fact that Arei is missing right before the secrets reveal. Then fast forward a bit, then we get the BDA of Arei
--------------------------------------------------------------------
And there ya go, that's my recap regarding how I believe the murder case happened. Pretty short, eh?
HELL NO!!! THAT WAS STILL PRETTY LONG!!! AHHHHH!!!!
Eh... I guess I couldn't really make it that shorter, my bad! If I tried to make it any shorter than that, it would've been extremely confusing.
Ah! Speaking of which, if you're confused in the sense that it feels like none of this should work at all, and there's a lot of contradictions and whatnot, then I would heavily recommend reading my actual theory post. I am not going to spend time refuting with people in the comments about points I've already pointed out in my previous post.
However, if there are things that are unclear to you, things that you do not understand and want to know what I'm talking about, please, feel free to ask away! I will help in any way I can.
With that out the way, I guess I can now start with pointing out the pr-
HAH! THERE IS A MAJOR ISSUE WITH YOUR THEORY!!! BASED ON EPISODE 12, THE MURDER COULD'VE ONLY HAPPENED IN THE MORNING OF DAY 4 BECAUSE OF THE BODY SWING! YOU'RE DONE FOR!
Ah... yeah... that! Of course! That's not a problem!
!!!
Let's talk about it first, shall we? :D
--------------------------------------------------------------------
AREI'S BODY SWING : CONFIRMED TIME OF DEATH???
I'd like to come clean with something, everyone. Ever since I came up with the theory that murder happened at a totally unexpected time, there was something that was constantly bothering me.
That's right, I was very well aware of the body swing happening during the BDA ever since the beginning.
HUH?! Then all this time, you wrote all of this despite knowing that?!
Correct! I'm really sorry about that, but please, understand that I had a very good reason for it. For you see... everytime I saw it, I was often under the impression that this was simply an eerie effect / animation, to give a more dramatic intensity towards the BDA, without meaning anything. I legit thought it could be a thing, I swear!
But despite all that... I couldn't help but feel uneasy about it. Deep down, I felt like that maybe there was an actual meaning to it, maybe it was an actual clue that I shouldn't disregard. But I figured that because of my theory beliefs, then it would be rather unlikely that it would be used as evidence.
But alas, I was wrong about that. The body swing plays a very important rule in determining what happened in this murder case. I cannot deny that fact, especially since Teruko brought it up, plain as day. Despite it seeming like it damages my theory, I'm thankful that the dev finally cleared that little doubt I had since then.
Then you admit it, the murder actually happened in the mor-
Oh, not so fast! Let's not jump to conclusions just yet, alright? Arei's body swinging by the swing set doesn't quite exactly prove that the murder occured during the morning of DAY 4. The body swing only proves that someone messed with the body by the swingset.
W-What?! That doesn't make sense! The murder clearly happened in the morning of DAY 4!
Nuh-uh, not quite. You believe it clearly happened in the morning because that's what the cast concluded on top of Charles pointing out that the culprit could've clearly fake the time of death by saving the fishes for later.
But unless we have decisive evidence that the murder happened in the morning, we can't be 100% sure that the murder happened in the morning of DAY 4.
From the looks of it, you just seem very desperate, if you ask me.
At first, when episode 12 released, I kind of was... up until I figured out a fairly logical solution to it. That's right! I have a way to explain who made the body swing and why.
You're not going to suggest that David did all of what he supposedly did in the evening of DAY 3, but instead in the morning of DAY 4, right?!
Nope! Not at all. Disregarding the facts that it wouldn't really make sense and that he'd have to move the body out of the relax room anyways before nighttime (because of the water misting rules), David actually has an alibi in the morning of DAY 4.
(As does Veronika too as she was with them in the cafeteria)
With all of these reasons mentioned above, as much as I initially wanted to make it somehow possible that David came back to the crime scene to mess with the body somehow, it just isn't possible.
So instead, someone else did it.
Then out with it already, you staller! Who is it?!
There is only one possible candidate that would make the most sense in that scenario : Eden. Eden is the person who messed with Arei's body in the morning of DAY 4.
WHHAAAAT?!?! WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT?! THAT'S SO RISKY!
That's what I initially thought at first, not gonna lie. But then... something hit me : Eden doesn't have an alibi for the morning of DAY 4 eitheir.
I thought that there would be absolutely no need for Eden to come back to the crime scene a certain short amount of time before the BDA, so instead, I needed to reverse my way of thinking.
What could she possibly aim to do that would prompt her to come back to the crime scene last minute?
Considering the facts (based on my theory, mind you) that she killed Arei in the morning of DAY 3, hid the body somewhere in the relaxation room, built up an evening to night alibi with Hu and that David was the first person to discover it during the evening, there is a simple explanation behind it.
Arei's BDA was meant to be triggered much earlier than the morning of DAY 4. The original intent behind this whole scheme was to have the BDA trigger during the evening of DAY 3.
That doesn't make sense!
No, that's wrong! It does make a whole lot of sense. Think about it. Let's say you were a participant in this killing game and were in David's shoes during the evening of DAY 3... you come across a dead body in the relaxation, what would you do?
!!!
That's right, you wouldn't just mess with the body and move it somewhere else, now would you? Aside from freaking out, the most natural and human thing to do would be to gather help.
If it were anyone else than David who discovered the body in that exact scenario, they would cry out for help, tell everyone that they found Arei dead inside the relaxation room, which would then result in a body discovery announcement.
But what if the person who found the body were to personally ask for Hu's and Eden's help, wouldn't that ruin her plan since it wouldn't trigger the BDA?
There's an easy solution to that. Eden could've simply decided to find more people to share the news to meet up with the corpse. This wouldn't ruin her plan in the slightest.
Quite the opposite, actually. If the body were to be discovered and trigger the BDA during the evening, it would solidify her air tight alibi even further as she wouldn't have any possible timeframe to commit murder in the evening as she was spending time with her friend Hu.
Ugh, so what? It didn't really happen anyways because of David being David! That doesn't change anything!
Actually, it does change things considerably. If you put yourself in the culprit's perspective where the whole intent was to have the body discovery happen in the evening of DAY 3 and that during the whole night, nothing happened, you would certainly find that very strange.
The culprit would be clearly confused, yet really curious to find out what even happened.
Couldn't she have taken a look much later during the night?
Perhaps, but she figured it would've been pointless. The reason why is that if she thought that nobody found the body, then the body would've still remained hidden in the relaxation room which would then be currently locked away because of the water misting.
So instead of checking it out during the late night of DAY 3, Eden decided to investigate during the very early morning of DAY 4, sometime past 7:30 AM.
But the relaxation room is still locked up until 8:00 AM! Why not wait until then?
It's simple! She just wanted to be there a little bit in advance to make sure she can enter the room as early as possible. And so... while she is waiting for the relaxation room to unlock, she probably figured that she should take a look around the other rooms, why not?
And thus, that leads to Eden finding the body being hung by the swingset, alongside fishes scattered around the floor for some reason.
To reconfirm, I still believe that David is the first person who discovered Arei's dead body in the relaxation room and that he's responsible for hanging her body alongside placing those fishes by the playground.
Okay, Eden discovers that the body has been moved to the playground? What now? Everything's already in place, so what could she possibly do with the dead body?
Well, since the BDA was not triggered on the evening of DAY 3, she figured that she may as well put Arei's monopad back into the corpse's pockets.
But what about her missing glove? Why didn't she return that as well if she wanted to return her monopad?
That's a good point, that's for sure. But there are two easy fixes to this counter argument. First one being that she simply forgot about the gloves. No one's really perfect, after all. She was so concerned about the body not being discovered yet that this completly slipped her mind.
The second fix would be that it would've been way too risky to try to retrieve the glove. Maybe initially, Eden, after she removed her disguise, she placed the clothes and the glove back into Arei's dorm. So if she wanted to retrieve the glove, she'd have to return to Arei's room, unlocking it with a monopad that isn't her own.
Would she really risk that again after making this much progress without getting caught so far? Like imagine if she tried to take that risk one last time only to get caught, that would be quite the devastating result, wouldn't it?
Ok, fine. Nevermind the gloves. Is that all she did?
Pretty much, yeah. She returned the monopad back into her pockets, which moved the body somewhat.
...
Well, it's also possible that she tripped and moved the body even more by accident. Or perhaps she felt like she was in such a hurry to avoid getting found out that she accidently bumped into Arei's dead body.
...Are you kidding me? There's no way that's gonna be enough to move the body for this long!
Well... maybe her being there at exactly 7:30 AM is not the exact time. She could've been there a couple minutes before 8:00 AM, which could make this possible.
But that's ridiculous! There's no way Eden is strong enough to make the body swing that way. To make the body swing for a good amount of time, she'd need more than just accidently bumping into the body! It needs considerable force.
And I'll stop you there. If you've read my last theory post, you should know by now that I'm a firm believer that because it's a work of fiction, anything that seems unlikely can become possible.
The main thing we should take from Arei's body swinging during the BDA is that at some point in time during the morning, someone messed with the body, proving that someone was there during the morning of DAY 4.
And there you go, that's my whole explanation as to how Arei's body was swinging during the BDA that doesn't necessarily mean that the murder occured during that exact morning.
If you're not quite convinced yet, there is a certain part of my theory that begins to make a lot more logical sense with this solution in mind. Take a look at this!
Thanks to the solution I suggested, these two lines become a lot more fitting to my updated theory. Here's why!
If Eden were to explore and find the body hanging by the swing set during the morning of DAY 4, she would know that at least 1 person found the body, but not who exactly.
Because of Whit's silly comment, Eden immediatly thought of the body in the playground and jumped to the worst conclusion : Whit is the person who found the body first.
So if they were to open the door to the playground, the BDA would not trigger since Eden is the culprit. So in a moment of panic, Eden uttered : "Teruko, wait--".
It is still pretty much the same as what I had in mind according to the previous part of my theory post, except that it works a whole lot better now that Eden personally saw the actual state of the dead body in the morning of DAY 4.
So there you have it. This seemingly major problem for my theory actually turned out to be very beneficial for my theory after all! Ah, the joys of making logical sounding deductions! My theory should be saf-
HAH! YOU THINK YOUR THEORY IS SAFE FROM HARM YET?! WRONG!!!! IN EPISODE 13, THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED HOW THE MURDER MECHANISM WORKED! NOT ONLY IS EDEN TOO WEAK TO OPERATE IT, BUT THEY PUT FISH WATER INSIDE THOSE JUGS! SINCE THEY REVEALED THAT MURDER METHOD, IT HAS TO BE THE SOLUTION. YOUR THEORY IS RUINED! GOOD DAY SIR!
Oh, you mean this?
Oh no, this murder mechanism is different from mine and this one requires a certain amount of strength that Eden possibly doesn't have! And the fishes! Since they brought it up, then there's no way my theory can work! Whatever shall I do??? It's joever.... just kidding!
I don't mean to alarm you guys, but the current proposed murder mechanism idea actually has flaws. Let's talk some more about the murder mechanism in the playground, shall we? :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
TERUKO'S CURRENT MURDER MECHANISM IDEA : RIGHT OR WRONG???
Before I get into it, I'd like to remind everyone that just because we've been shown how the murder may have been done for the first time means that's how it actually happened. Let's not forget that they spent so much time arguing and discussing about the secrets that they barely ever talked about the murder case in itself.
So if anything, episode 13 is practically just them beginning their actual work! Mistakes are bound to happen. We shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. Besides, there is actually a problem with this murder mechanism.
I'll present it to you in pictures to show you what I'm talking about.
The taped up wrists. This was practically the decisive proof that this wasn't a suicide nor could it have been an assisted suicide. So now that they've introduced a murder mechanism in an actual episode... what's actually the point of the taped wrists in that scenario?
If the culprit used exactly this kind of murder mechanism, then there would be absolutely no need to tape up her wrists together.
Maybe it was to stop Arei from trying to struggle?
Nope. If that was the case, we would've seen much more signs of struggle coming from Arei. There may be scuffs on the ground, but there's absolutely no other form of injury on Arei aside from her broken neck.
Well, I saw a theory where the accomplice was Levi and he could've easily overpower her!
(I believe that was something that @1moreff-creator theorized, if I recall? At least, that was the theory pre part 2)
It used to be borderline possible, but not this time anymore! Thanks to the first two episodes of part 2 of chapter 2, it seems extremely unlikely that Levi wanted to work with the culprit as an accomplice.
Not only because of what we find out regarding his secret, what kind of character he is, but also because of something he said in episode 12.
I don't know about you, but this doesn't look like something an accomplice would say at all, right? If the culprit was someone who didn't have an alibi in the evening, it would be a different story, but the most fitting theory for having Levi work as an accomplice is to work for Eden, who happens to have an alibi in the evening as you already know.
So since we gotta take Levi out of the equation, then we don't really have much other possible candidates who could've easily overpower Arei to the point where taping up her wrists would've helped better on that regard.
Therefore, the most logical solution would be that Arei was knocked unconscious with the turpentine. But since that's the most likely scenario, then what's up with the taped wrists?
If the taped wrists weren't used to prevent any remote chance for Arei to try to get out of this situation, then it must've been used as part of the murder mechanism.
But since the murder mechanism as shown by Teruko doesn't explain the taped up wrists whatsoever, then this becomes a discrepancy. Therefore, that can't be quite the correct answer to solving the how this murder mechanism works.
And since this murder mechanism idea is flawed, it also means that there's no guarantee that the jugs contained fish water inside, they could've simply gathered water somewhere else or perhaps there jugs were already filled with clean water to begin with.
Because this murder mechanism idea is flawed, there's no guarantee that the culprit used this method which required some unknown amount of strength, but an amount of strength regardless (unless the author wants to pass it off as anyone could've done it since it's easier to do it by spinning it, I'm not sure).
Because of that flaw, my theory isn't affected by the murder mechanism idea that Teruko suggested since there is no guarantee that this is the correct answer.
So yeah, there's no problem whatsoever! Also, as far as I'm aware, since the release of the latest episodes, I have a very logically sound reason to explain the taped up wrists as shown in part 5 of my theory.
To give you a small reminder, it was for something like this!
(Whole murder mechanism not properly shown in the drawing because I'm lazy as heck, but just take a close attention to the arms)
By having Arei's arms go between the pillars of the seasaw, you can make it so that she can't get out of it by taping her wrists together, which plays an important role in the murder mechanism. Not going to elaborate further, if you want to know more, you gotta read the big post right there!
And there you have it! Those were the two main concerns that could've negatively affect my theory, but fortunately for me, it doesn't. In fact, it supports it even more than before.
Especially regarding the David / Arei conversation flashback (shown from David's memory's perspective). This conversation told us a lot more between these two, do you know what that means?
That's right! It means that Ace is full of shit! There's no way he didn't hear anything else. The only way he could've not hear anything else is if he gets snuck up from behind and gets knocked out with the turpentine, but it could've easily simply been Ace witholding that information to make David look more suspicious.
Therefore, if he lied about this, he could've also easily lied about when he actually overheard that conversation for his own selfish gains!
There's also a few couple other points that could further support my theory, but I don't feel like going over every single little detail as of now. I mainly wanted to solve these two issues and nothing else.
So, DRDTers, I need to ask you the following : Do you still believe that I am delusional with this overly complex theory of mine? :)
Thanks for reading another one of my big posts, as usual!
Edit : Go read the finale of my theory next, it's worth it!

Calendar Trouble
Regarding my Advent calendar in the previous days, was the calendar visibly broken for you (doors look squished together and visibly cut off)? I', still hoping maybe it's just me, but I tried different browsers and all displayed that problem. Squished:
Normal:
(contents blurred to avoid spoilers)
The calendar uses a different editor since this year and they said you can switch back to the old one any time, and I did switch back to the old one use the old one because I generally like it better, but when I use the new editor the doors appear broken and apparently the link I've been using and giving you all this time is tied to the new calendar editor and always displays the calendar as broken. I did not notice because I have been using the old editor and it looks fine in that one and if I use the preview function from that one, it also looks fine. So I have to use another link from the old editor so it does not display broken. I'm kind of bummed out that you may have had a broken calendar this whole time 😭😭 Really, today isn't my day, all my patterns I wanted to use had flaws I only noticed last minute, and tried to fix them, but realized that it would take hours and I was already late uploading. And I'm not even happy with the current one either, but what's done is done, and you will hopefully like it well enough. My standards are way higher than everyone else's it seems.
But it's really hard for me to endure knowing something isn't as good as it could be. Then I found a glaring error in my first pattern upload that I now have to fix and reupload (it is on its head, how did I not notice that!), and got even more stressed because of that. So I'm super stressed and sad and it's like everything is rigged against me today. I just wrote a mail to the calendar provider hoping that the issue may be fixed. I already edited the Day 6 teaser link and the link on my website to use the older one that displays the right way and will use that one from now on.
Tbh, I haven't had proper time to breathe since I started the calendar and to have a day like this really crushed my spirit.
I wanted to make the day special, since it's St. Nicholas day and it's regarded as a special day here in Germany. I'm really sorry that didn't work out!

SvtFoE Rhombulus Rewrite (Pt. 6)
Hey, it’s been a while since you saw my face-
All jokes aside, sorry for being gone for so long. In my defense, I was in college, then I had seasonal depression which made it hard to do much of anything creative-wise. This is admittedly one of my favorite fan projects, so I always feel bad about not updating it. But I have managed to get back into it again (finally) and wanted to release one of the easier parts to do. (@bawfulio @sagesilentfire tagging you since you guys have been following this AU since the beginning and have been waiting the longest for an update)
Anyways, Monsters and Mewmans, Crystals and Chimeras, welcome back to my Rhombulus Rewrite! Check out this post if you have no clue what the heck I’m talking about or you want to read the previous parts. As I said in Part 4, this part will be one of the two possible ends I have to this AU. Ya’ll can choose which one you prefer. This one is called the “Closest to Canon Ending” and is also sad. It will not focus on the problems with the ending as a whole and shall instead be more about fixing Rhombulus’ part. I’ll admit, though I prefer the second ending as a finale, I’m pretty proud of this one as well, as it has some stuff I’m pretty proud of writing wise. I did make myself sad though, so there’s that.
Closest to Canon Ending (AKA Ending 1):
- This ending is kinda if I switched Rhombulus and Hekapoo’s parts, but Rhombulus had a more proper and fitting redemption. Also, it might make some character choices make more sense.
- So, the first big changes happen in “Ready, Aim, Fire”. We overhear Rhombulus arguing with Hekapoo and Omni about how to handle the Mina situation, saying that even though they may not like it, they need to protect Eclipsa and her family since it’s the right thing to do and they can’t let Mina take over.
- This is when Hekapoo reveals that they have been backing Mina the whole time, which horrifies Rhombulus. He says that he is disappointed in them, and will go out to support Eclipsa and co, even if he has to fight Hekapoo and Omni. He then runs outside.
- We don’t see what happened to Rhombulus until “The Right Way,” where he jumps into the battle as things are looking dire. We get some pretty cool action stuff from him, which should be fun.
- He even helps out various monsters, using his crystals to protect them. It brings his arc full circle, showing him go from someone who fights monsters to someone who protects them like he would protect any other innocent civilian. It’s a good moment for him.
- But unfortunately, Rhombulus gets seriously hurt by the Solarian Blade multiple times, and since he and the rest of the MHC are basically monsters, the blades actually work on them. I think it’ll be the most shocking (and plot convenient) if Rhombulus loses his tails, as they are his main weapons and method of self defense.
- He’ll manage to play it off like he is fine, but will need help soon. Maybe he’ll convince them that he probably won’t die. He might not even realize the blades work so well on him, especially since his magic is making him more asymptomatic. He’s good at hiding how bad he is doing, mainly because he is still able to walk and run and other stuff. But he can’t fight and needs to sit down a lot, so he won’t be able to do much during the Moon reveal.
- Instead of that horrible first kiss scene between Star and Marco, I have decided to give them a platonic love scene in a way, since I want the ending to not seem too random but still keep things platonic.
- Star is clearly upset and overwhelmed by everything, even though she might not be able to express it properly. She eventually tensely says that she’s going to do [insert helpful yet distracting task], and Marco offers to help her. She agrees, and while they’re working, Marco says that he knows something is bothering her, and she can talk about it if she wants.
- Star confesses that she’s been feeling extremely alone and scared lately. Multiple of her friends are severely hurt and could easily die, and she can’t do anything about it. She fought so hard and is trying to stay strong, and even despite all that, she feels like she’s failed at keeping people safe.
- Marco says that she is the reason less people have been hurt, and that everyone chose to fight and stand up against Mina, knowing the risk they would be in. It’s not her fault this happened. He then assures her that no matter what, they will always be best friends, and he’ll be there for her no matter what.
- Pretend we’ve also had a lot more great friendship moments between them this season, so that the show clearly shows their dynamic as important to the plot.
- Anyways, back to everything else. This rewrite is called the Rhombulus Rewrite after all.
- “Pizza Party” will be renamed “Where the Blame Lies,” and instead of the MHC having a pizza party, we will see Hekapoo and Omni arguing over whether or not they made the right choice, and if they should go after Rhombulus. It’s a very short, tense scene, where Hekapoo believes that Rhombulus is wrong, but they should still go look for him to talk, and Omni believes that Rhombulus is “too far gone.”
- They decide to split up, with Hekapoo choosing to go after Rhombulus, and Omni choosing to do his own thing.
- Meanwhile, Rhombulus ends up fleeing with Star and co, pretending that he is fine, until he ends up collapsing while they are running. Mina declares Rhombulus a traitor, and attacks him, causing yet another major blow to his body, where many of the other scars have already spread far.
- As Eclipsa and Marco help him up and try to support him, Mina declares her plan to wipe out all monsters and monster-supporters. The group tries to escape, but are soon surrounded. Mina goes in for the kill, but a portal opens up under Star, Marco, Eclipsa, Moon, and Rhombulus, whisking them away. They find themselves in the middle of a forest, saved by Hekapoo.
- This is where “Tavern at the End of the Multiverse” starts. Hekapoo is horrified at Rhombulus’ condition, and after picking him up, she says that she knows a place where all of them can hide. And so she takes them to the Tavern at the End of the Multiverse. This space is also a bit of a safe zone for all different types of people, and has some private rooms if needed.
- Hekapoo takes Rhombulus into one of them to see if she can help him somehow. Star argues with Moon, but they are interrupted by Hekapoo, who says that she needs them to come over to where Rhombulus is. He’s in terrible condition, with the wounds having fully spread all over him.
- It’s a really sad scene, especially when he begins telling Hekapoo that he can see Lekmet, and they are going to be reunited soon. Hekapoo is extremely distraught and basically in denial, while Rhombulus is basically accepting what is happening.
- He tells Hekapoo not to worry too much about it, and that their time is close to ending anyways, he just wishes he could have seen everyone win. He tells Star to do better than those who came before her, and that she will be able to fix the world. Then, my boy dies.
- While I still don’t like the whole “destroy all magic” plotline, I thought that something like this would be cool in helping explain the rationale for a few characters. In Star’s case, this is a bit of a breaking point for her. This is where she begins to have her “I hate magic” moment, because she just lost a close friend due to the damage magic can cause when in the wrong hands.
- And Hekapoo being chill with Star destroying magic makes a lot more sense. She too just lost someone important to her, basically her favorite sibling, and is in a more apathetic state. Hekapoo is mad and sees that the MHC has fallen down a bad path that has slowly destroyed them. Her attitude is less chill and carefree and more angry and resentful.
For Ending 1, I don’t really have any other changes, because all I really wanted to do for this ending is the scene where Rhombulus dies, so that’s the end of that. I think Ending 2 will be a much better ending as a whole, but I thought of Ending 1 first, and kind of liked aspects of it. It’s very bittersweet, and I wanted to make a version that stays faithful to the OG.
However, the OG is also terrible, so I decided to make another version anyways, especially since I wanted a version where Rhombulus can live. Stay tuned for Ending 2, which will hopefully be coming soon! Or at least, a special post before that giving extra context for Ending 2 (spoilers, I reworked Mina a bit).
Thanks for all your support, and I hope you like what I have in store, since I’ve been working on Ending 2 for a while now. Hopefully this will keep you company in the meantime.

Dirty Windows | 5 | Nora x Hancock
A Fallout 4 Soulmate AU
-
Fic Summary:
Hancock never thought he would find his soulmate. Once a common occurrence, soulmates turned into a bit of a rarity after the bombs dropped. It was to be expected when there was an influx of people getting shot in the face on a daily basis. So when Hancock discovered that he had a soulmate he was ecstatic; all of the people in the Commonwealth, and he was one of the lucky few.
Too bad his soulmate didn't want anything to do with him.
When Nora thought for sure she was going to die too, the pain stopped – and then there was nothing. Nothing but the emptiness. Nothing but the grief. Half of her soul was suddenly gone forever. She was dropped in the middle of the ocean, drifting among the waves with no land in sight. Then just as suddenly she had been cast adrift, she found land. The hole was filled the moment it had been created. As she gripped Nate’s vault suit and begged him to open his eyes, Nora found herself battling with the horrifying realization that she had another soulmate; that some stranger had taken Nate's place.
\\
[ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] - [ 6 ]
\\
It was funny. Hancock had always been comfortable in his skin, ruined or not; it didn’t matter. At the end of the day, John knew exactly who he was. He was a decent man. Maybe not a good man, but he was decent. Ish. His moral compass was a little skewed but, despite outward appearances, he wasn’t a total fucking monster. The world needed men like him to keep the real monsters at bay. That was all that mattered, until it didn't. His soulmate's searing rejection left him feeling uncertain, and so insecure that even Fahrenheit avoided giving him a proper ribbing - and she usually dished liberal amounts of bullshit to everyone.
What part of him wasn't good enough?
The woman had just lost her husband; he understood that. Hancock could only imagine the pain she was enduring, but she insisted on fighting it alone - and that baffled him. Why would someone want to brave this mess of a world by themselves if they didn't have to? Especially since she had been cooped up in that vault for however long. She was obviously inexperienced, and she wasn't great at defending herself, with or without a gun. Despite it all, she ignored him every time he offered to help.
Fine, he thought. Fuck it, then.
He could ignore her, too.
That was what he told himself, at least.
Drugs had been a constant in Hancock's life for many years. They were his favorite crutch, and he enjoyed mixing them up into a high powered cocktail that would knock any smoothskin on their ass for a couple of days at a time. As a ghoul he needed the strong stuff anyway, but as John fucking Hancock he needed something even stronger, something so much more potent. While he absolutely loathed to admit it, Hancock was a little more than emotionally compromised after being rejected by his soulmate again, and again (and again). He wanted to get absolutely fuckin obliterated just to forget for a while. He invested his spare time in experimenting with chems, and alcohol. There were a few tried and true combinations that had been worthwhile, but he needed something more. They weren't strong enough, they didn't last long enough. So he decided to be a mad scientist for a couple of days. He played with different elements, mixing basic jet and psycho with a variety of different additives.
For a couple of days, Hancock was higher than a fucking kite. It wasn't constant though. He would start to crash, and he would take another hit. Taking larger doses would fix the problem, but every time he would prepare himself to up the ante he would hesitate. Because what if, in his drug-induced stupor, his soulmate needed him? What if she needed help and he was too blitzed to do anything outside of giggle at the disembodied voice? Instead of stumbling into the what-if scenario every time he came down from his high, Hancock only wanted to be obligated to make this decision once. The dilemma was making something strong enough that wouldn't end up killing him. He wasn't ready for that quite yet. For the time being, he would take a few hits of this and that every few hours.
It was approaching mid afternoon on another drug addled day when Hancock found himself on the down-swing of one of his highs. He felt sluggish and heavy, and his mouth was dry. His brain hurt. The inhaler was clasped between his teeth as he unscrewed the cap from a bottle of vodka - and that's when he heard it.
Soft sobbing, a sniffle.
"Why couldn't he have killed me, too? Why did he let me live? I can't do this without you. Why couldn't he have killed me instead?"
Hancock seemed to sober almost immediately. The inhaler dropped from his mouth as he listened to the poor woman cry. Part of him wanted to be a snarky asshole; wrong number, sweetheart. Nate ain't here. The other part of him was wholly sympathetic. She was miserable, and she was heartbroken, and she was hurting, and Hancock wanted to make all of that go away. He wanted to hold her and tell her everything was going to be okay.
His body sank into the couch as he rubbed at his eyes, "Oh, honey..."
There was a gasp, soft but piercing. The woman withdrew from their bond so fast he swore. He flinched, physically recoiling into the couch as his eyes shot open.
"No," he told the room, rising to his feet in a surprisingly fluid movement. "Not this time."
Hancock reached out for her, recreating the severed connection with ease. All he saw was darkness, but he could hear her crying. She was hyperventilating, and her body was shaking. She was hungry too. Her gut felt painfully empty. It took a conscious effort to keep his own breathing steady. He hadn't prepared for the tidal wave of emotions that crashed over him.
"Hey."
Another gut-wrenching sob.
"Hey, look, I... I..." There were tears in his eyes as his soulmate's emotions overtook him. The righteous fury he was intent on delivering faltered into something soft and pleading. "I'm sorry. Whatever I did..." a sniffle, he dragged the arm of the coat across his cheeks.
"Madam? Madam, are you alright?" the voice was muffled but (surprisingly) British. It was a Mister Handy unit, if he ever heard one. The woman opened her eyes and Hancock finally had the opportunity to see where she was. A bedroom of some kind. It was old, radiation-ravished like most of the Commonwealth. There was a simple blue crib sitting in the middle of the room. "I am sure that Sir and Shaun will be home soon..."
More anguish, more heartbreak, more fucking tears.
"Just - both of you! GO AWAY!"
Hancock swallowed around the lump in his throat, and he sniffled yet again as he tried to regain control of his emotions. Before he broke the connection, he whispered, "I'll be here if ya need me."
He dove back into the drugs, and let himself drift off into oblivion for the rest of the evening.

»»————- ⚜ ————-««
The date with Billy went well after I explained that I was not some damsel in distress; he convinced me not to leave early and took me out to get some real food. It went so well that I even gave him a small kiss on the cheek after he took me home, maybe a lot less than what he was used to getting, but he seemed okay with it. There were no problems until I sat across from him at lunch today and could see at some angles the bruise on his ribs; he didn’t say anything about it, so I didn’t push him. As usual, I gave him half of my food, and we quietly ate until Steve came over to my table.
“What the fuck are you doing here, Billy?” Steve interrogated; Billy didn’t seem in the Mood for Steve, so he didn’t answer. Steve sat down next to me and passed me a note. ‘We’re having a movie night with the kids. Do you want to join?’ Read the message, and I replied to him with a sure also asking if Billy could Join. Though they may not like each other, if They could actually have a proper conversation, maybe they could be good friends.
“Nope, not allowed; they’ll ruin it for everyone” Steve responded out loud. I sighed and wrote that I would not attend as Billy had asked to watch a movie with me tonight. Steve scoffed and laughed, which caught Billy’s attention.
“Really, you’re going to miss movie night for Him?” Steve questioned further; I looked at him, now annoyed, and shrugged my shoulders. I returned the paper and wrote, ‘Don’t be an asshole, he’s not even mean. Billy’s a nice person once you get to know him. He’s not going to ruin anything.’ I then went back to eating my lunch.
“But she’s going to be there, and I don’t want to make her all tense with what’s already going for her” Steve elaborated. I nodded and sighed. I wrote to him that I’ll join them next time. He looked slightly disappointed but nodded and left the table. Billy raised an eyebrow, and I just shook my head. I cleaned up my trash and went to my locker; Billy followed suit and did the same.
“So, what movie do you want to watch?” Billy asked me. I thought for a second before I leaned into him.
“Pretty in Pink” I whispered in his ear; he had flinched when I leaned into him but relaxed when I spoke. I opened my locker and took out some supplies. I handed them to Billy, and he didn’t protest. After I finished passing him all of my stuff, I fixed his shirt, and he started to get a little defensive; I leaned closer to his chest and gave his bruise visible to me a small kiss.
“Kisses are supposed to make the pain disappear" I said softly; he bit his lip nervously, and I smiled at him. I started walking toward my class, and Billy followed; he put my stuff down on my desk, and I gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
“I’ll see you after class, sweetness” He assured

About the rewrites and Fixing RWBY
Well, I didn't think to do this, but, hey! Here we are.
1.-"The rewrites are BS"
Don't generalize please. Well, the rewrites are like the common kind of fanfic. Just that they try to change the things for the better.
RWBY is not a perfect show, so it is good the idea of trying to improve things.
2.-"Celitc phoenix is arrogant and pretentious"
Maybe, but let's remember that is just his opinion that these are things fixing RWBY. And since this one is his opinion you can't argue back.
3.-"But he doesn't believe that this is just fan fiction. He thinks that he is actually improving RWBY"
Well, does it really matters what he thinks? I mean, just take it as a fanfic and criticize it for what it is.
4.-"Many in the fandom don't think that some details of the show need a fixing"
And? There are others who think that they DO need those fixing.
5.-"Celtic is not improving things, he ruins more things than what he is fixing".
Well, then criticize him. Give your arguments and criticize his work.
6.-"Roman is Celtic Phoenix's self insert"
Well, give arguments about it. I mean, when the people calls Jaune a self insert, they give arguments about it.
7.-"The fans of FRWBY tell us "If you don't like, don't watch it" when we could say them the same about the main show"
I never liked the "If you don't like it, don't watch it". I have the right to watch things I don't like.
I don't like the idea that I have to ask someone's permission to watch a show.
So, just ignore them. Both of you have right to watch things you don't like.
8.-"The rewrites simply change everything about the plot not caring about respect the original material. It just isn't RWBY anymore".
Sometimes to improve something you have to change it.
But, I understand the frustration. Some things (Like adding complexity to Cardin) aren't really fixings of any kind, simply are changes Celtic made because he wanted.
9.-"Are the rewrites better than the series?"
I don't know. Some would be, others not.
For example I don't like Celtic making Shay D Mann a more gray morality character. Or Roman being Ozpin's host.
While I constantly criticize the series, the truth is that it's difficult to create a show. The budget and the time constraints are really a limitation.
And sometimes the fanfics can choose to only focus in some matters. That is an advantage that fanfics have over the main show. They don't have to focus on all the things the show has.
That's why I have a respect I have towards the CRWBY. What's more I recognize that many of the things in the rewrites couldn't be applied to the main show.
10.-Conclusions
If you have problems with the rewrites, criticize them.
Now you have to be on RWDE's shoes, criticizing bad piece of fiction that other people's like and defend your position against their defenses of the project.
I don't think that RWBY is a good show. But neither I think that FRWBY is a good fanfic.
Simply remember to not close yourself. Not generalize the Rewrites, there would be things that might amaze you.
But to the RWDE, don't overrate the Rewrites. Remember that the show have limitations that the Rewrites doesn't have. One can put an event in a fanfic that maybe would be impossible in the series proper due to budget and time limitations.

3/100 days of productivity
14.09.2023
Habits
🚶 1 hour of movement (45 minutes of biking and 15-minute walk, counts. Let's see how I'll approach this once I am living closer to uni and don't have to bike that much anymore. 0.0)
🏊♀️ 30 mins of sports (Went for a short 20-minute run, but I am letting this count. I trained for a Tough Mudder 10k at the end of august; it was a great success and fun. However, after 7k my knee started hurting so bad, that I had to stop or risk again not being able to even walk without pain for a few weeks (been there, done that). Was quite frustrating, because I had the condition, I just didn't have the properly trained knees. So the plan now is to run a lot but short intervals and increase them slooooowly. The method for now is: September 20mins, October 25 mins, November 30 mins and so on. Let's see if it will help!)
🧘 Yoga (any duration)
🥗 Somewhat healthy food (well, i am giving myself half a point here. Managed three and a half proper and healthy meals, but drank far to sweet coffees and ate two slices of cake, which might be a lot of sugar.)
Study & Work
📚 Read 30 minutes (Nope :/)
✍️ Wrote 30 minutes (Nope :/)
💭 Thought 30 minutes (Nope :/)
💻 Concentrated work for 6 hours (I tried really hard, but yesterday wasn't a good day. Got close to 6 hours but can't really say that it was concentrated.)
I also got far too stuck on some setup issues to debug my patch. Not really sure what the hell I spent my time on there. Feels not well invested. (And that happens to me sometimes, I think I need to start be more pragmatic about what is actually the goal/measure of success and how to reach it). But the setup is now running, so today I can actually tackle the challenge!
Other
I am sitting in a coffee shop writing this, but it's really not romantic, man. The music is far too loud and the customers are somehow really impolite and that makes me very uncomfortable. But hey, got a good coffee first thing in the morning! And now my headphones stopped working.
Fixed the headphones thing with a small power charge, I am a certified engineer after all! But noise-cancelling headphones are sometimes really a life-changer!
The 3-small tasks a day thing is working great for me! Would be funny if this simple approach finally solves my continuous problems with my doom pile. But I am ready for funny.
(My doom pile issues are really not so good, I keep delaying a few tasks one really should not delay, and feel really blocked on tackling them. Not sure why. But I feel good about this three tasks a-day thing. 3 tasks fit nicely on a post-it and the "doom" feeling that happens when I look at my list, doesn't set in.) Even today I realized when I looked at my three points of today, that I was daunted by two of them, but like it was manageable? Maybe my brain was just disillusioned before, always convincing myself that I would get this mountain down in one very productive day. Again, funny.
Had a really nice lunch with a good friend (and a coffee and a walk). If I sometimes ask myself why I don't manage 8 productive hours a day, maybe it's mainly because of 2 1/2 hours lunch breaks or other breaks like this. But not decided on what to do - I like those breaks. Anyone having any suggestions? How do you manage to get your number of productive hours in?
Had a really nice evening with my boyfriend, too. I think we're both becoming more relaxed and it's great. I think this type of evening (with the same kinda setup) would have perhaps been stressful before, but now we managed to make it really nice. Proud of myself here!
Feeling really good and I am grateful for that. Also - I am really happy about every like and follow and more blogs to discover and follow myself. Thank you all lovely studyblr people! So far studyblr really is having a positive impact. <3

Can you elaborate on your comment on Discord that "[TOH characters in general] get a lot of backstory but little connects with their present character"?
*looks at every Hunter fan out there* How do we feel about the fact that this kid was literally raised to kill wild witches and be the Golden Guard but the only fighters in the main cast who are worse than him are the literal child and the illusionist?
Hunter is easily the most obviously egregious one but also the one that actually has a potential magical slide. After all, we don't actually know if Hunter has been alive for sixteen years. He potentially could have been alive for probably only five, thus making it so he has time to be trained and indoctrinated but was also 'old' enough to be easier to handle, left alone, etc. like that. Of course... That doesn't really fix the larger problem with Hunter's backstory versus his present day character, is it?
See, this is how I would breakdown what the theoretical present day concept for each character is that Luz meets versus the backstory version: Eda: Irreverent criminal who is only out for herself and probably would just be committing larger scale crimes for funsies if not for the curse. Backstory: Lovable scamp with a heart of gold who only ever does jokes, nothing actually bad and look at this child she adopted and totally won't threaten with rent later on.
Amity: A driven, goal obsesses girl who will do anything to be the best. Even simply losing the title and not being made to look like a fool is enough to warrant someone needing to die and she bullies the weak for fun and superiority. Backstory: Felt bad for hurting her teammates for personal glory and victory (those same teammates she will tell to eat a dick in that same episode), only bullied Willow for her own sake, frankly would rather just be a little goofball than actually succeed at anything.
Lilith... Okay, frankly it's more that S2 Lilith makes absolutely no sense with S1 Lilith. If they hadn't entirely warped her character, her backstory is actually pitch perfect for her grown up self, even down to being a little silly and caring about her sister. A LITTLE silly mind you.
Golden Guard: Actually fits the backstory as the rage and confidence of youth mixed with too much power and indoctrination make for an incredibly dangerous, close to unhinged Kylo Ren clone who will go from joking to I WILL MURDER YOU! if you don't take him seriously or annoy him.
Hunter: I'm just a widdle silly guy who can't even gut check a girl and force her to give me my staff. I am all for wild magic because maybe it can save my uncle, despite my uncle's problems being caused by wild magic. I will literally never win a fight alone except against Kikimora, the closest to a true, reoccurring gag villain that the series has.
Now yes: A character can grow and change as they get older. It can be a fun joke to have a prim and proper character have been a nightmare as a toddler. But this isn't how TOH portrays these backstory moments commonly. Much of the time, the backstory is meant to effectively be in the place of real moments in a character arc.
Take Amity's moment with Willow. In a normal character arc, this is the chance for the character to prove that they have a good heart and are maybe not as mean as they seem. However, Amity already has done that at least once with confessing to not wanting to see Luz hurt in Adventure in the Elements, if her diary didn't already do this in combination with not holding onto her rage against Luz there in Lost in Language. So they HAVE to put it as a backstory moment or it wouldn't be notable. Except... It would have? Hell, they even try to frame it as a kindness to Willow at the beginning which is a good idea because Amity's first appearance was being cruel to Willow but now that she's changed some but hasn't interacted with Willow since episode 6, she needs to show some kindness to her. But it's ALL kindness because they've already fully transitioned into good girl Amity so rather than feeling like a growth moment, it's to justify what they're doing. To say "Of course her development isn't this rushed because it's not development! It's just the old Amity coming back out."
The moment with the Thorn Vault is similar. A character like Amity SHOULD have a moment where she decides success isn't everything and steps back so as to allow someone else to take the spotlight if it means doing less harm. It's a good idea for a moment in her arc. But again: Amity has already moved past that part of her arc. She hasn't been focused on success or being the best since her SECOND APPEARANCE. And this is her last one in S1 so it goes into the backstory to show that she does understand the consequences of her actions rather than having it be a part of her arc.
Frankly, this stuff is just a part of a different blog I need to make about how Amity episodes are strangely NOT about Amity. She actually doesn't factor into them much so her arc feels bad because even episodes like Lost in Language or Adventure in the Elements only have five minutes of Amity at most.
Meanwhile for someone like Eda or Hunter, it's retcons. Eda needs to be convincingly like Momma Eda so making her actually motherly with King when they first met is a good idea... But it contrasts all they did in S1. Hunter is meant to show the cruelty of Belos but they want him to already be the sad but mad boy by the halfway point of the season (which btw, halfway through S1, Amity was already borrowing an Azura book from Luz showing compromise, kindness and connection, much like Hunter connecting with Amity's fears, almost giving into her speech about kindness and adopting Flapjack. There's a reason I say the shortening did fuck all to these character arcs because they follow the same god damned patterns) so that stuff needs to be in the backstory, like his scout training.
And to me, that is the antithesis of a backstory. Unless the point is that they're different from who they used to be, which it's often not for TOH, it should reinforce what we know about them. How did they get to the point they're at. It's actually one of the only strengths narratively of Them's the Breaks because the final challenge by Terra is a good moment to make Eda start rethinking her long term goals and if she likes the coven system at all.
It would just work way better if her present day character was anti-coven because it pits people against each other and tears the Isles apart instead of just "It makes you way less cooler than me because I can do ALL styles of magic." As such... It's them acknowledging what a good motivation in the setting and plot would have been but recognizing it too late so they have to add it as a retcon.
And you can only get away with that trick so many times before it feels like your story is a house of cards trying to pretend it's made out of stone.

Rethinking Chapter 6 in Super Paper Mario
I think Super Paper Mario should’ve had a proper chapter 6. It’s a bit of a shame that we only got to see a small fraction of this world before it was destroyed.
It also doesn’t help that the entire 6th Chapter is just battling these Sammer Guys, so it wouldn’t feel like anything would be regained once you bring back the dimension. It actually feels like a relief that you don’t have to fight all 100 Sammer Guys, so maybe in a way, you’d feel fine if this dimension were to just go away.
I believe that this world deserved better, to be expanded upon so that you not only have a good time playing, but you also will feel like real worlds are on the line once this world is erased. I believe that it should’ve gone something like what I’m about to describe.
For Chapter 6-1, you would start off in a hilly field where the black trees would grow naturally along with cherry blossoms. You’d still see the void in the sky very menacingly close to the world. It’d be like Chapter 1-1 where you just go about the level, defeating enemies, some from other chapters, some unique to this chapter.
For Chapter 6-2, you would arrive at the very start of Sammer’s Kingdom, the only problem is that the door appears to be completely shut, with no keyhole, but there does appear to be some spike holes in it. To open this door, you’d need to use the pixl Barry to smash the door open. These kinds of doors will appear throughout the kingdom.
Inside the outer kingdom, you’d see a lively city with the people doing a bunch of activities. There are also a bunch of doors, and one at the end of the outer kingdom with a lock in it, to get to this door open, you’d need to go all around the place, going from person to person, trading item to item to item until you eventually get the key to the door. Of course, each person is on the other side of these other doors, and the rooms they’re in are filled with enemies. When you finally enter the locked door, you will be at what seems to be the end of the chapter, however just as you’re about to get to the star block that I forgot the name of, there’s an ambush of those shadow things that you’d usually encounter in some of the fights in the regular game.
They break the block and attack. Now you have to go back to where you were to find a repair guy to fix it. Unlike the tedious process of going to person to person to get the correct items, this is more straight forward, as all the doors will be locked by the people inside, but you can use Dottie to enter one of these locations using a smaller door, and this location is where you can find someone to repair the block. Unfortunately, these shadow creatures are still on the loose and causing havoc, so you’ll need to defeat them all before the repair guy can feel safe enough to come outside and repair the star block. Once the block is repaired, you can finally move onto Chapter 6-3.
Chapter 6-3 is just the regular Chapter 6, but no 25 room splits, they’re all in this single chapter. Chapter 6-3 will then play out as the normal chapter 6 would, but with you only having to fight 15 Sammer guys before the void becomes alarmingly close. Eventually you’ll get to the battle with Mimi, and this is where the difference is, in that she locks you into the room she’s in after she’s gone. Luckily, there’s a rift to use Fleep at on the other side of the room, and this rift will make something unfold ahead in 3D. It’s a pipe all the way to the end of the chapter.
In Chapter 6-4, the void is immense, looming over the entire world, covering the entire sky. The urgency is real, and they’re so close to their goal. This is the entrance to the palace, a maze of rooms where security Sammer guys who have no idea what’s going on outside try to attack you left and right. Eventually, you’d reach this giant outside area that leads to the grand master bedroom of the palace, where the king whom I forgot their name as well is snoozing, with the pure heart. Unfortunately, the void above trembles, as it’s mere moments away from eradicating the world from existence. Here, you’d have the encounter with Count Bleck. After he’s gone, in a last ditch effort to get the pure heart before it’s too late, Thoreau escapes your pocket and does a mad dash to the other end of the outside area. As you feel that the world is finally about to end, you’re forced to use the return pipe, leaving Thoreau behind as the end of the world finally happens.
Now there’d be some pixl interactions scattered throughout the game in order for you to feel that you’ve actually lost an ally when Thoreau goes for the pure heart, as for the entire game, the pixls feel like nothing but tools.
In this way, you’d get a feel that this isn’t just some random dimension getting destroyed with a bunch of fighters, but the dimension gets destroyed with it’s civilians, wildlife, culture, and everything in-between. When you re-enter the door to Chapter 6, all of what you’ve explored will be completely gone, all white space, making the thought of this happening everywhere even more chilling.
When you find the pure heart in it’s stone state, you will be able to see Thoreau’s shadow engraved on it, and nothing else, giving the feeling that Thoreau is gone forever. Once you’d get to the Underwhere, the queen who I really need to memorize these names examines the heart per usual, and per usual you get Luigi to get the daughter, and when you come back to get the pure heart, the queen also finds that a very very weakened Thoreau was attached to it. Thoreau only having a sliver of life to survive on, thanks to the pure heart. In Chapter 7-4, you will finally be able to revive Thoreau and bring them back to their former self, probably through the power of the rainbow, or some other means, I don’t know. There’d also be a range boost for Thoreau, just to encourage the use of them more often.
After the Sammer Kingdom is saved, you can do the regular select of selecting any of the chapters from 6-1 to 6-4. Chapter 6-3 has the regular 100 guys you can fight, and instead of a star block to take you to the next chapter each 25 rooms, there’d be a mushroom to heal you up from all your combat.
Anyways, thank you for attending my ted talk, here are some free complimentary cookies. 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪

1. Who was the last person you forgave? How long did it take you to forgive them? I don't remember the last time I felt like I had to forgive someone, to be quite honest.
2. Is going mushroom hunting in the woods something that would interest you? Not really. I wouldn't trust myself to know what was safe.
3. What is your favorite junk food? How about your favorite health food? French fries or proper "chippy chips". Health-wise, I love mango, watermelon and aubergines.
4. Are you listening to anything right now? Do you normally listen to music while you take surveys? I'm watching Below Deck: Down Under. I prefer to watch TV over listening to music but it depends on my mood.
5. What were you doing the last time you hung out with a friend? I went out for coffee with Susie on Sunday morning.
6. Is there anything about you that might cause others to dislike you? Yeah, I'm autistic and I can struggle to relate to people sometimes. I'm not great at reading social cues which can cause problems.
7. Is there anything you’re really particular or specific about, anything that has to be done a certain way every time? Yeah, most things hahah. I'm very routine driven (again, autism) and that's another thing that can cause problems - if things aren't done according to my routine then I can find it really stressful and overwhelming.
8. Are there any chores you need to get done today? We need to sort the bookshelf in the living room so that the BT engineer can access all the sockets tomorrow. I can't do anything about that until Mike's back though as I can't move it alone and the stuff on there isn't mine to move.
9. Where was the last place you went shopping and what did you buy? In person? I went to the supermarket on Sunday to get coffee, muffins and some other random bits. I have my main food shop arriving in an hour though.
10. What was the last big change you made to your physical appearance? I haven't made a big change to my appearance in ages.
11. Are you more likely to shut people out of your life or try to fix things no matter what? I don't really shut people out but equally I'm not someone who's willing to fight for someone who's clearly not that interested.
12. Where was the last place you went out to eat? Is going out something you enjoy or would you rather cook at home? A local pub yesterday. I love going out for meals but it's so expensive these days - I only went yesterday as my mum was paying LOL.
13. If you have any pets, do they seem to notice when you’re sick or sad? Archie definitely seems to understand when I don't feel very well, he always comes for a cuddle and doesn't ask to go for a walk or to play or anything, he just curls up next to me the entire time. The cats don't really give a shit LOL. Layla actually used to sit with me when I had my periods - and always on my stomach so maybe she realised on some level.
15. Is anything you’ve done lately going to matter in a year? Where's question 14? Anyway, yeah, I hope so.
16. What was the subject of your last phone call? I have no idea, I pretty much never talk to anyone on the phone.
17. Are your hobbies something you’d rather do alone or with others? It depends on the hobby. I do surveys and watch TV alone but I love shopping and walking dogs with other people. When I ride I prefer to be with other people too, but more for safety reasons than anything else. I'm rubbish at riding and having a conversation at the same time, hahah.
18. Is there anything about yourself that you’re trying to improve? No, not really. I generally can't be bothered to do much self-improvement, if I'm being honest hah.
19. What are you doing today? Not much. I had a lie-in, took the dog out to explore a new walk, had a shower and since then I've just been watching TV and messing about online. The food shop is arriving in an hour so and then...that's it really.
20. What did you dream about last night? I can't remember it now but I remember waking up and thinking it was a really weird dream.
21. When was the last time you visited with relatives? Do you see extended family often? I saw my mum yesterday but most of my family live in Australia and I've not been back there in about a decade now. It's just too expensive and takes up too much of my annual leave. I last saw some of my Australian family pre-COVID when they visited for a few weeks.
22. What was the last relaxing thing you did? My whole day has been pretty relaxing - I slept in, had a lovely walk with Archie, had a shower and I've just been chilling ever since. I could easily take a nap if I didn't need to sort the shopping soon lol.
23. Will this weekend be better than last weekend? They'll probably be about the same.
24. When was the last time you were there for a friend? I guess just in general recently for Susie - she's been really struggling with Reuben and how tying it is to have a new puppy - especially when she never wanted him in the first place lol.
25. Do you have any jewelry you almost never take off? I never take any of my jewellery off/out unless I'm changing it.
26. What are some of your favorite words? Discombobulation, charisma, eclectic, antidisestablishmentarianism.
27. Do you have any journals from when you were younger? If so, do you ever go back and read them? Nah, I chucked them all out when my parents moved up here. I did re-read them at one point and just cringed - I was so dramatic as a teenager lol.
28. Are there any holidays you used to celebrate, but no longer do? Halloween and Easter, I guess.
29. What was the last occasion for which you dressed up? Uhh. I honestly couldn't tell you - probably my own wedding lol.
30. Is there anything you wish you could say to anyone? Yeah, I guess so.

10 Fics
Rules: share the first lines of ten of your most recent fanfics and tag ten people. If you have written less than ten, don’t be shy and share anyway.
Tagged by @dragonnnfly and @justwhumpythings. Thank you!
Tagging @howtowhumpyourhiccup @lifbitch @fictionalnormalcy @mdoodlerfandomart, if you guys feel like it.
Putting this under a read more because 10 is a lot.
An Heir and a Throne
Hiccup watched Vigdis swirl the wine around in her goblet. She wore a slight frown on her face as she looked Hiccup over.
"What do you want, Vigdis?" Hiccup asked, not happy to be here. He was tied sitting in front of Vigdis' desk. Her brother Ryker had put him here, but Vigdis had shooed him out. Vigdis clearly wanted to talk to Hiccup alone.
"I'm wondering something," Vigdis said, pursing her lips together.
2. Unexpected
The morning sun reflected off the sloshing waves of the sea. It was a rather calm sea at the moment, free of storms and tidal waves.
But then it began to boil, bubble, and purple light shone from within its depths. A plasma blast burst through the surface, the water turning to vapor. This was followed by a black shape streaking up and into the sky.
Hiccup shook water out of his eyes, clutching tight to Toothless’ now soaked saddle. He hadn’t really worn the proper clothes to go diving, but the sea wasn’t as cold as usual today. Besides, he and Toothless hadn’t gone very deep.
3. A Problem to Fix
Snotlout didn’t know why he was attracted to him. He shouldn’t be! He knew he shouldn’t be, but there was something about Viggo Grimborn that was downright alluring.
Maybe it was his voice. Or the way he spoke. Or maybe his body. Or his charisma? Was that the right word for it? Yeah, Viggo had charisma.
Either way, Snotlout was attracted to him. It didn’t matter to him that he had scars across his neck or that the left side of his face was so badly burned he could no longer see out of that eye.
4. The Man He Loved
Eret’s heart pounded as Hiccup gently ran hands over his body. He still couldn’t believe how much his life had changed in just a few months, and changed for the better . Before, he’d been a slave to Drago Bludvist, no freedom of his own, and one more mistake would get him killed. Now? Here he was in bed with the Chief of Berk, his lover, his friend, and he was free from that wretched warlord. He had his own life, and his life was good.
5. Bliss and Fire (Elder Scrolls)
Annaïg kissed Toel back even though everything in her was screaming not to. His lips were firm against hers, but soft all at the same time. His hands rested on her hips, and she knew that, if she didn’t say no, and maybe even she did say no, they would go to much more intimate places.
Annaïg had kissed a few boys before, but never a man like this, never a daedra . This kiss was different, and she didn’t know why she’d expected it not to be. She felt fire where his lips connected with hers, and it was going down her throat, flickering out through her nerves, making her tingle.
6. Sweaty
Astrid’s axe clashed with Snotlout’s in a shower of sparks. Was it dangerous to be sparring with real weapons? Yes. Were the both of them good enough to not hurt each other? Also yes. Besides, despite certain moments of anger and agitation, they cared for each other. Deeply.
“You gonna give up, Jorgenson?” Astrid asked, panting, sweat dripping from her brow.
“Only if you do,” Snotlout responded, the glint of a challenge in his eyes.
7. Not a Dream
There was pain. Agony, really. Viggo had never felt anything like this before, and his life had already been filled with pain: the scars across his neck from a wound that had nearly killed him, various smaller scars on the rest of his body from hunting and fighting, and then the horrible burn on his face that had taken his sight in one eye.
But this was different. He vaguely remembered taking four arrows through his back, but why? What had he been doing where people were shooting at him?
8. Moral of the Story
Hiccup watched as, oddly enough, a Dragon Hunter came forward and began to untie Dagur. He helped Dagur to his feet and patted him on the shoulder.
“You did a good job getting him to us.”
“I took a fucking arrow for this,” Dagur sneered. “There better be good payment.”
Then Hiccup realized what was happening.
9. Not So Sweet
Hiccup wondered how the dragon he was trying to save blended in with its surroundings. Maybe certain minerals in the waters it usually inhabited were similar colors. Maybe sun-dappled foliage worked to cover it well. He wasn’t sure, but one really did have to wonder how a bright pink dragon blended in.
The dragon was a Sweet Wraith, cousin to the Sand Wraith. Hiccup had only heard of them through tales that people claimed were true, but sounded like they couldn’t possibly be. The dragon was vicious, but supposedly surviving an attack from it made you fall in love with the first person you saw afterwards.
10. People Can't Change
“It’s all my fault!” Hiccup slapped his palm to his forehead, shaking his head. “It’s all my damn fault!”
The Dragon Riders had narrowly escaped capture at Viggo’s shipyard. Very narrowly. There were injuries, not big ones, but enough for Hiccup to be terribly angry with himself. If any one of his Riders got hurt he would have felt guilty, but three of them had taken injuries: Snotlout, Astrid, and Tuffnut. He, Fishlegs, and Heather were working to get them all bandaged and taken care of, and Ruffnut was acting as moral support, if that was what her role could be called.
Hiccup had taken a step back from his injured friends to get some water, and the guilt had nearly crushed him taking in the sight of all of them.

Advantages of outsourcing the mixer repair services
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/85e8bf6b63d64a80de2ed3e02da403ec/5cd4deae2f925821-36/s540x810/b1c2b92ddf7aea08b45d0ebaa190b66aed72208e.jpg)
Mixers are appliances that make life much easier when it comes to issues like kneading, whipping, and mixing in every household or commercial kitchen. The machines conserve time and energy, especially regarding such labor. But like all other appliances, the mixer will also have its time when it will start to breakdown, thus making problems at the same time when it will start weakening the efficiency of an appliance. The question is now before the eyes of many, whether to fix a mixer on their own or to hire a professional to do the task. Fixing it on your own is always so tempting; however, opting for professional repair services yields so much more to the advantage.
In this blog, we’ll explore the numerous advantages of hiring experts for mixer repair services and why it’s the smarter choice for preserving your appliance’s longevity and performance.
1. Accurate Problem Diagnosis
Perhaps, the most evident benefit of seeking a professional for help is the correct diagnosis. A mixer is one of those kitchen appliances that seems intimidating with most of its parts appearing to be motors, gears, switches, and electrical systems. Sometimes, an infinitesimally small malfunction in one place creates a wave effect throughout the entire appliance.
The professional has experience and equipment to pinpoint the cause of the problem. He does not treat the symptom but digs out the source and makes sure your mixer functions as good as it was on its first day.
2. Special tools and parts availability
High likelihood: A mixer needs somewhat specialized tools, probably not to be found in the average homeowner's toolbox, and the proper parts, of course, which are the right ones for the model and brand of the mixer, will fit correctly.
These tools and parts are at the disposal of professional repair technicians, which enables them to do the job efficiently. You don't waste your time trying to find the right parts or makeshift tools that probably will harm you more than doing good; you get experts handling the job smoothly.
3. Cost-Effective Solution
Maybe it costs nothing, and this is how to do it yourself. More than likely, that will cost in the long run. Probably, one would not have technical skills properly to handle, which would cause much greater damage or make the mixer totally unrecoverable.
On the other hand, professional repair services are relatively very cheap. In the first instance, the professional will repair to your taste avoiding any additional cost of creating the unnecessary damage for your appliance saving you. This probably the amount of fixing your problem will much smaller than spending money to obtain a new one.
4. Convenience Time Saving
A professional will immediately diagnose the problem and fine-tune the unit, which means saving you all your precious time. It saves a considerable amount of time for you, after which you can again resume all your routine works without much hassle. This factor of saving time is highly indispensable to mixers-dependent business houses like bakeries and restaurants.
5. Safe Operation
Mixers are electrical appliances and have moving parts. So, mishandling is likely to lead to accidents. The probability of electrical shock or cuts by sharp parts will increase when a person with no knowledge about the appliance or does not have the required tools tries to repair it.
They know how to do the repair work safely. They will thus be following established protocols and protective measures so that no one is in danger during the repair process.
6. Warranty and Value Retention
Many mixers come with a manufacturer's warranty. The mixer is repaired for some period by them. Any Do-It-Yourself repairs may be voiding that warranty, hence you will be paying for any future repairs or replacements.
A professional ensures the fix meets manufacturers' recommendations thus saving you a warranty.
Thus, professional fixing assures that an appliance lives more than a few other appliances cared for DIY.
7. Long life in Your Appliance
This would decrease the efficiency and overall lifespan of your mixer because it is continuously getting worn out. Professional service, apart from resolving the immediate issue, also denotes preventive maintenance. Thus, it will be fine working for a long time from now.
For example, when you are in the middle of fixing your mixer, you might find that a particular worn part, before it actually develops to become an unbearable headache. Besides saving money by not needing a replacement, this is very proactive by nature.
8. Expert on all brands and models
There are too many brands, models, and designs of mixers with diverse features and specifications so that one mixer can perfectly do otherwise than another. A trained professional has much knowledge regarding various brands and models in order to bring one particular repair.
Regardless of the mixer, be it a stand mixer perhaps one of the best-selling brands or hand mixer, which is so compact-seasoned repairers understand how to do the job efficiently and accurately.
9. Quality Results and Warranty for Repairs
Quality work is one of the best reasons for hiring the professionals. In general, sound repair services will give you warranty on repairs that assure you it won't come up again sooner.
This means that if such a problem happens, it will be repaired free by a technician before the warranty is over. You cannot get something like that when you are planning to do it yourself.
10. Eco-Friendly Environment
A 'green' action you would take is to ensure that your mixer is sent for professional repair instead of dumping it. This ensures it is not sent to electronic waste, while its carbon footprint is reduced due to its being given a new lease on life.
Most services handling repairs ensure broken used parts are disposed of to further enhance 'ecofriendly practices'.
Conclusion
When your mixer, for example, starts showing signs of problems it becomes very tempting to just put on your tool-belt and start fixing it DIY. However, the risks in breaking something more damaging and hence losing a warranty or violating your safety far outweigh the perceived value.
The longer it saves in using professional mixer repair services is from that expertise and reliable solutions. Anything from an attempt to troubleshoot even the most challenging problems down to ensuring your mixer will run at its potential capacity will be done perfectly; thus, more time-saving plus more accurate.
Pros will make everything right the next time that your mixer happens to call for some much-needed attention. You'll save them time and money and they will see that your equipment will be functioning well for quite some time hence.the timely mixer repair is most essential thing for lifespan of mixer .
