personality traits (and notes): I’m a ENTP Ravenclaw, 5w4, Extrovert. I’m a very chill and intelligent person. things I love about myself: when someone is going through anything or needs help with anything they will call me before anyone else, i have an ugly laugh so guaranteed if i laugh someone else will as well, how much i love animals if i see a stray around my house i will adopt it immediately, if i see a stranger crying in public my eyes will not leave them alone until i get the courage to walk up to them and ask whats wrong, i am very confrontational i will always stand up for whats right no matter how scary the situation may be, how greedy i am for money but when i love someone i will spend the world on them, how excited i get for little things like when someone buys me redbull, monster, cherry pepsi or chocolate pretzels/strawberries my day cant be ruined, how in touch i am with being grateful if someone helps me in anyway or does something in general to benefit me i will never forget it, dont take people for granted, ive been told anytime someone hangs out with me that being with me feels safe and peaceful, I pay attention to the little things, how even though i dont care about plushies i have been given some and i make sure to kiss them all goodnight in case they are actually real and see what happens, if i know someone is having a hard mental health day i will clean for them/ get them icecream and be patient till they are ready to talk about it, without fail a quiet person will always be loud with me, i am the type of person who just wants people i love to be happy even if its not with me, i will always choose them i dont say i love you until i mean it i will celebrate the people i love, i am very observant if i see that someone wants something i will get it for them no matter what, i will make it my mission to compliment a stranger that looks like they are having a hard time so their day is a little better, how i say i hate kids but i will protect them with my life and im so gentle with them, I am not ashamed of what i love like anime for example even though when I was teased for it when I was little i never once hid that i loved it, even if i dont like a song that someone shows me i will be hyper while listening to it so they dont feel small and embarrassed around me, how soft i become when someone holds my hand, even though hugging makes me uncomfortable i will push past that boundary and hug someone with all my heart if they needed it, i love how hardworking i am, whether its how much i love actually working or just getting out of bed knowing how hard my mind is fighting i love how i have gotten up everyday for the past 12 years despite how challenging it is to, i am an emotional person but i will always cry for a sad scene in a movie, if i love you, you'll be seen.

Looks: Half Polish and Vietnamese with Some Scottish and Half Middle Eastern(Iraqi) /Filipino with Some Russian, l'm very skinny like just flat, I have hazel eyes and some slight flecks of amber and blue, I have upturned eyes but they seem like they are almond shaped but they aren't too noticeable, I think I have a heart shaped face but from different angles it looks more diamond shaped(?), l'm approximately 5’8, I have a dimple only on my chin, I have dyed black hair but if you see more closely there's some streaks of blonde-ish brown, I also have bangs too, my clothing style tends to stretch widely from comfy to looking like l'm going out to a party. HOLY SHIT THIS TOOK AWHILE. I’M SO FUCKING SORRY; but you already know that. I already gave you some Alastor headcanons as you know, so here’s Lucifer and Vox for you!

tw - talk on mental disorders, unhealthy relationships (kind of), Vox being a micromanaging dictating asshole.

Jax x Lucifer (Luciax)…

• Honestly, when I wrote your first matchup I was a little stumped trying to find a male character that would fit with you aside from Angel. Now that the show is out and we have a good view of Lucifer, I would’ve had him first place instead of Alastor. You two just fit each other tbh.

• He enjoys the fact your chill, as I think that anyone who’s too strict or uptight makes him uncomfortable.

• The way you act so nicely to him, and genuinely enjoy your time with him..it’s sweet. Like a candy apple!

• Lucifer is a very awkward guy, so he understands and is extremely patient when you have those awkward moments. All he asks is that you’re patient with him too, which I don’t ever see being a problem.

• Oh, and he also can get really loud when he talks too. Especially when he’s excited over something.

• He can also get very silly when he talks. I headcanon he’s one of those bitches that talks super fast when they’re ranting about something or just talking about something they like.

• You both can be rule breakers together. I mentioned this before, I just don’t see him doing something like murder, but even then I don’t see you doing something like that either.

• He’s glad you genuinely care for him..and would take care of him like the dad you are. He jabs right back at you with the same fatherly like love too. I can see you two often fighting for who can be the most loving.

• He canonically suffers from depression, so he helps you as best as he can because of how much he can relate to it. Often times he’s a shoulder to cry on, or a person to give some advice.

• He stims with you! He’s come to realize how regulating it can be. His favorites are jumping and flapping his wings!

• He thinks your ugly laugh is really cute..he might tease about it but seeing any genuine parts of you makes him really happy.

• Lucifer adores animals just like you! In fact, since he’s now at the hotel more often you’d often get to see Keekee and Razzle!

• He spoils you with a lot treats. I don’t even think he’s aware that too much can make you sick. Even if you mention it, he keeps saying his power is at your desire. Even if it’s not okay he wants to please you as much as he can.

• I’d imagine he turns himself into a marketable plushie so you can kiss him. He also stays in his plushie if you want to cuddle, or just need something to squish!

• Lucifer is a giant man-baby tbh. So when you baby him, it’s the best fuckin feeling in the world. In return when you need it, he loves to do it to you!

• He watches a lot of anime and shows with you, though definitely sucks at keeping quiet and give his full commentary throughout it all.

• He’s a very touchy person, so that may or may not become an issue. I know you mask it, but I think the truth will eventually come out. At that point he might become distant for a little while until he figures out other ways to show affection. Like through gift giving! I say physical touch and gift giving.

• He’s smaller then you by quite a bit, so please make fun of him for it. Just tease though, because on a certain degree I don’t think he likes talking about his height too much.

• LUCIFER EATS UP EVERY STYLE YOU DO! Every outfit is like it’s own art piece, and it really gets him excited to see how creative you are!

• He’s also very interested in your hobbies! Gaming, anthropology, music, dancing, art, science, and cooking are the ones he most likely participates in with you!

• Especially music and dancing . We all know damn well that guy is a theater kid.

• He happens to know a lot of languages due to being (at one time) a higher power. It’s very easy for him to pick up everything you say! He even likes to flirt right back or say a snappy comment if you come out of nowhere with something.

• He overall loves how much of a creative and fun person you can be, and often matches how excitable and passionate you are. It makes him not feel so alone in a world we’re other often shut out his dreams, so to him, you’re everything his dreams could ever ask for.

Jax x Vox (Jox)…

• So you and Vox..I’m not sure how the two of you would’ve met or clicked, so I’ll leave that up to your imagination.

• He’s another person who likes how chill you can be. He has a hard time dealing with people that are temperamental or irrational, so having you as the type of person who’s easy going and not absolutely freak the fuck out all the time is good.

• He also likes his alone time, so if you can respect his he’ll respect yours

• Loud talking can annoy the fuck out of him. Sometimes he can handle it, mostly if the situation is already super hype. Though if he’s working and needs a minute of silence, he might bluntly just tell you to shut the fuck up.

• If he’s in a good mood, he might just start boosting about how much he loves you, and will often do things for you out of nowhere. I recommend loving him back during those times as well, as when he’s not in this mood he can get particularly nasty and moody.

• Vox can be silly sometimes when he wants, which much like the last headcanon you should feel more comfortable to be more silly yourself. You should immediately cut it off when he’s working, as he definitely won’t tolerate it then and will probably get mad at you.

• He also gives you your favorite snacks to shut you up, lol.

• He can easily catch onto you though, so hiding anything will be hard to do. He’s especially pushy, and will get pissed off if you don’t let him help you or give you advice. Most likely because it leaves him feeling anxious, which is something he can’t have considering his overlord status. Any weakness is a massive threat.

• He’s also very quick witted, and often keeps up with your jabs at the same speed you do.

• He helps with your anger issues as best as he can, though that’s mostly when it benefits him. It’s nothing he’s not used to dealing with, considering how pissed off Val can get on a regular basis.

• He actually gives really good advice and is good at keeping you in check, though unfortunately as I mentioned it’s often for his own image as an overlord. He wouldn’t want to be know for a bitchy boyfriend, would he?

• Your ugly laugh make him laugh, so all in all I think it’s a good thing! Just little bits and pieces of you are the special parts Vox holds dear

• He often has to hold you back from fights, since starting them in Hell (especially when you aren’t an overlord, which I assume you’re not.) is 50/50. He doesn’t want to see your sorry ass getting hurt, so instead he’ll take care of it if he has the time, or will leave it to his contractors.

• He doesn’t vent often same as you, nor do I think he finds a need to dwell on such subjects either. If the time comes where he absolutely needs it, he’ll count on you first and foremost, considering you’re the closest person he can trust as an Overlord that won’t ruin his image.

• Likes to prank you by shocking you with your plushies. He often leaves little electric shocks in the furry plushies you have, and when you go to kiss them you get zapped. He finds it fucking hilarious, but I guess in your own way you can see it as him giving you a goodnight kiss back.

• Very rarely does he like to be babied. I don’t think he necessarily minds it, but he just doesn’t want you to get too fatherly/motherly, ESPECIALLY in public. However, I do think if he’s in a particular happy mood he’ll baby you!

• He watches anime and shows with you as well, but like Lucifer, Vox is the type of guy to give his own commentary throughout the whole thing. Like damn, you seen the Finale episode? Bro wouldn’t shut tf up.

• Vox gets a little nervous when you cry. Sure, he knows how to deal with temperament issues and some sadness, but when it gets to a point when you’re crying over something that genuinely makes you sad, he starts to get sad himself. At those times he often retaliates and gets mad at you, or just makes fun of you for crying.

• He makes fun of your height too, an often uses you as an arm rest. The overlords are well for 6’5 from what I gather, so you’re really small to them.

• He does like your style, and often points you to Velvette for other fashion stuff, as it’s not really something he’s into.

• If you’re ever into wearing suits or dresses though, he loses his shit. Full on head over heels.

• I think his TV head doubles as a computer cause of the way he had a computer error on his screen when Alastor pissed him off in Stayed Gone, so if you two are bored he’ll become your gaming TV lmao.

• He can also play your favorite music for you, and be your very own encyclopedia, I think. I’m not really sure how his TV head works but hopefully as we learn more we can get more of the picture.

• If he can play music from his TV head though, I think it would be really cute if he helps you fall asleep with a lullaby (though that might be a lame thing since I was in little space for almost all of this fucking week lol.)

• He spoils you rotten with gifts if you behave for him, mostly because he’s an overlord and he can; plus he appreciates you being under control just for his own image.

• Roasts the hell out of you when you get your words wrong. At the end of the day he doesn’t mean super bad by them since he is your lover, it’s simply not easy to avoid his teasing, especially when it boosts his self esteem.

• He thinks you’re extremely talented with all the crafty things you do, but with often exploit it to profit off of it for the both of you, even if you don’t want to.

• I think with some circumstances you guys could work, though be weary, as he’s sometimes too focused on what he’s doing to care for you all the time, which may or may not be an issue. Just know that he loves you, even if he’s not there all the time or doesn’t show it as well as others might.

The Official RNG Showdown FAQ

Is there a tournament in progress?

The Autumn 2024 Special Jousting Tournament begins September 1st. Read the Tournament Summary here!

The format for the Autumn 2024 tournament will require a special set of rules that supersede this permanent post, they can be found here.

What is all this?

This blog runs a quarterly tournament where you vote for Hetalia characters, and where all groupings are completely random every time!

What are we voting on?

You can pick your favourite, a contender, a dark horse, an underdog, or vote for pure chaos and see what happens! Most people would turn this into a popularity contest, but the showrunner loves rooting for dark horses and underdogs to pull off an upset.

How will this work?

The first part of the tournament is the quarterfinals, where there will be 16 polls with 4-5 characters.

The 16 winners of the quarterfinals move on to the semifinals, where there will be 4 polls with 4 characters each.

The 4 semifinal winners will move on to the final poll, where the winner is this tournament's champion!

How can I make my chosen character win the polls?

When you find that poll, vote for your choice, then reblog the post and tell all your friends to vote the same as you!

The only requirement for any replies, reblogs and tags is that you keep your comments respectful! You're allowed to support your character, but don't put down anyone else while doing so.

Who is all in the tournament?

If your character has a page on this Hetalia Wiki character article look-up page, they're in the tournament! This does not include any nyos, 2ps, animals, humans or other entities, just the nations themselves.

Should Himaruya introduce a new character in the Jump series manga while a tournament is in progress, the showrunner will check for their character card to appear on this site's list before adding them to the next tournament.

Why is the previous champion not in the current tournament?

It was found in early 2024 that a certain nation had far too easily won the first three tournaments in a row no problem, so the rules were changed to 'ban' champions from the next tournament and no longer allow back-to-back wins. The bans are currently only for single tournaments.

The exception to this rule is for a champion's first ever win, where they will have the one opportunity to bypass the ban, participate in the next tournament, and attempt a back-to-back win. They will start serving bans after their second win.

How will they be grouped?

The character names are plugged into this random number generator website to create the quarterfinal and semifinal groups.

That's why this is the "RNG" poll, it's pure luck who your favourite is up against!

When do tournaments start?

The showrunner intends to start a new tournament once every three months, with the first quarterfinal pol opening on the 1st day of the new month. Should a tournament require a lot of tiebreakers and push longer than 85 days long, the next tournament will be delayed an extra month at the showrunner's discretion.

The showrunner may also adjust the tournament schedules as necessary should life events make it temporarily impossible to manage a tournament.

The showrunner will set up the tournament summary post ahead of time, which will summarize all the polls. This summary post will be updated with each poll post's direct link as they get posted, and will be reblogged multiple times through the tournament. All individual poll posts will refer directly back to this summary post for tournament updates, as well as to this pinned FAQ post.

When can I see who's all in the groups?

The showrunner will not be revealing any quarterfinal or semifinal contestant matchups ahead of time! You'll just have to watch for the polls to get posted!

For the quarterfinals and semifinals, polls will be posted every third day to stagger a bit more space between them. This means there will be no rush of polls all posted the same day, nor do you have to wait a week for the next poll and have the tournament take half a year.

New polls will post at 12:00 PM Vancouver time on the days they are scheduled to post. Reminder reblogs will be scheduled for the quiet days between polls opening and closing, as well as for 23 hours before each poll closes!

What if a poll results in a tie?

Should a quarterfinal or semifinal poll results in a tie for 1st place, both/all the tied characters will move on to the next round. As the semifinal contestants will go through a second run of the RNG, there is only a 25% chance that the tied characters will face each other again that next round.

In the extremely rare circumstance that there is ever so many ties that there end up being more than 12 characters for the final or 48 characters for the semifinals (aka going past Tumblr's 12 options per poll at this time), the showrunner will run a series of 24-hour tiebreaker polls to break those ties and only advance the one character from each. There will be an announcement post ahead of time to declare the rules, scheduling and involved characters for the tiebreaker polls.

Should a final poll result in a tie, the showrunner will post an update to declare the creation of a 24-hour tiebreaker poll, announcing the characters in question and the scheduling date for the poll. Only the winner of the tie-breaking poll will be declared as champion and be subject to the banning rules above.

Who is the showrunner?

The showrunner is @peppermint-chocolate-cherries, and Hetalia has occupied half her imagination since 2015. Her main blog shares a lot of memes, fandom content and social commentary. She has also written a few Hetalia fanfics, they are posted on AO3 and FFN.

The showrunner is always down to have more followers, and vibe-checked mutuals to share posts with, but is a bit shy when it comes to anything more than that. Anonymous asking is turned on, but she will delete messages and block assholes when required.

Rules

Would you look at that, rules! Of course, by the law of the Queen of Hearts, one must follow the rules listed below. Any and every violation shall be punished by suspension of magic and flamingo-feeding, and cleaning duty for a month.

1. For headcanons/short scenarios you can request up to 7 characters (e.g. dorm leaders, 1st years, 2nd years etc)

2. For full-blown fics/long scenarios I'd say 2 characters.

3. I do not write for Ortho altogether!

4. Vice-dorm leaders' requesting includes Ruggie!

5. NSFW is welcomed! (What is and isn't allowed I've written a tad further down)

With how butthurt our generation has become, people are forgetting that this is all fiction and these characters are just that - drawings without any emotion, or a beating heart. They are drawings. So, I will accept requests for the 1st years, but I will age them up. Whoever has a problem with it, save it. I'm not here to argue for the millionth time, that instead of attacking innocent tumblr blogs that just want to write content for the fandom, you could instead go donate money to actual charity organizations that deal with child abuse. There are actual predators out there. Your local fandom writer, who barely has their life together isn't. If someone is writing creepy shit about these characters, you'd know, believe me.

6. AUs are allowed and welcomed!

7. Reader inserts and ships are both allowed, although I've mostly written reader inserts thus far.

8. Reader will be as gender-neutral as possible, unless a gender (or lack thereof) is specified.

9. I won't be writing about anybody's OCs besides possibly my own. OCs are very complicated characters, reflecting their creators. Successfully writing somebody else's OC is very difficult.

10. No matchups for now, but perhaps in the future.

11. The more characters you request, the longer it will take to write!

12. ALWAYS check whether requests are open or not!

13. Do NOT repost any of my work! Plagiarism is a crime, y'all.

14. Be respectful and kind! Treat others the way you wish to be treated! If you come on here attacking anybody, insta block. I'm not even going to try and respond. Instant.Block. Spread positivity, not self-righteousness and cyber bullying.

15. Even though I often forget to check my DMs, you are free to text me whenever! I don't bite ~

16. Posting will be slow and arduous. I'm a university student with a part time job and a so-called social life! There might be long periods of absence, especially during exam month. Eventually your ask will be answered. Patience is virtue.

WHAT I DO NOT WRITE ABOUT

Assult of any kind, be it sexual, physical etc. With that in mind, yandere is also off the table. Dub-con is FINE, but even that is a stretch.

Suicide, mental illness (it takes a lot of research to write and it's overall a delicate topic). I've been down that road, I'd rather not go down it again.

Eating disorders. Big trigger. Totally off.

Incest, beastiality, pedophilia of any kind and other such taboo topics. (Obviously)

Any kink involving bodily fluids other than cum, blood and saliva. (Tears? Does that count? Lets add that too. And tears. Tears are totes fine!) Anything else I'm not comfortable with. (So scat and golden showers are off)

Pregnancy and labor. At some point it gets a tad too repetitive.

hi everyone! i want to establish some ground rules when it comes to leaving requests or asks. these guidelines are pretty typical, but i’d like to iterate their importance. in the past i mainly specialized in reader-insert fanfics, but i am open to other general forms of fanfiction as the world of breath of the wild is so large and beautiful that i’d love to explore all writing possibilities!

without further ado:

REQUEST RULES:

1. i will not write NSFW content. sorry, but that isn’t my jam.

2. please don’t send the same request multiple times. i am a slow, thorough writer. if your request isn’t posted within your ideal time frame, chances are i’ve seen your request and am working on it and don’t want to answer it until the piece is finished. but i can guarantee i WILL see it!

3. if you’re a picky reader, then please, by all means, make your request specific! my goal at the end of the day is to satisfy YOU, and nothing is more satisfying than when a writer understands your vision and brings it to life. allow me to do that for you by giving me a detailed summary of what you’d like to see!

Matchups and headcannons (on hold)

I have no idea how people do the fancy format for their posts with pictures and stuff.

Anyways, I’m bored, and have to much time on my hands, so I’m gonna do these.

I don’t have a lot of followers, but I will keep them open anyways.

Uh yeah so rules and stuff:

Animes I will do for: BNHA/MHA, Haikyū!!, Demon Slayer/KNY, HxH, Sk8 the Infinity, Attack on Titan, if there’s a specific one not on here I can try my best, no promises.

SFW headcannons will be made, no more than 2 characters/2 anime’s per request.

Bare minimum: gender/pronouns, your preference of gender, at least 2 facts about you.

Preferably things like interests, personality, like/dislikes, anything your comfortable with really I don’t care, you can describe how you look aswell, stuff like that. Less signs though (such as Pisces, Taurus, Capricorn etc.. I don’t know much about those.)

Anon’s are allowed, If you choose to go Anon, please pick an emoji if you plan on staying/asking for another matchup so I can remember who is who.

Have at it. edit: This might be a bit confusing so I am gonna explain more <:

If you choose 2 anime’s, you will get 1 character matchup for each anime. You can send multiple asks, and if you are unhappy with the first one(s) you got.

You can put mental illnesses/disabilities/disorders you have, some i may not go to into detail with,

(I personally only have experience with neurodivergence- mostly adhd, and anxiety, but I will try/do at least a little bit of research if that’s something you put in your ask. If you are comfortable with it and do choose to put that sort of thing in your ask, it would be helpful if you could put things you struggle with such as sensory issues perhaps, trouble sleeping..etc etc..)

One last thing for now, it would be helpful to me if when writing your asks, you could break it into smaller pieces instead of giant chunks of words. It makes it easier for me to read and process, so I don’t miss anything important.

I will not be including nsfw additions to the character matchups. At most, there might be implications but nothing more.

Please, DO NOT GO OVER 300 WORDS. If you do, your request will be deleted. No exceptions.

You can request platonic or romantic matchups. Be sure to state whether or not you want it to be platonic/romantic. I will default to platonic.

If you want to specify your gender, that’s fine. If not, I will default to gender neutral pronouns for you.

Please specify if you want to be matched with a male or female character from the fandom you’re choosing. I know a lot of people want to be matched with male characters, but we should also give our lovely leading ladies a chance! If you don’t specify, I will choose based on personality, regardless of gender.

Please include the following: general appearance (optional), name/nickname (optional), hobbies, interests, what fandom you want your character from, and if you want the matchup to be platonic/romantic. If you want to include more information like favorite character from your fandom, then feel free to do so.

However, please don’t include your zodiac (both western and eastern), your MBTI, enneagram, etc. Don’t put yourself in a box, you’re worth more than that. I know what those are, but it takes a lot of research and I don’t have time for that. To describe yourself, choose the the BEST FIVE Characteristics of yourself. If you want to switch things up, you can also add in the WORST FIVE Characteristics of yourself to paint a picture in my mind of who you are. What’s an INTJ to a person who says that they’re a scrunkly dreamer with a passion for bullfrogs? (Yes, feel free to be as weird as you want).

Thank you for being my first headcanon request! I know that I’m allowed to post other works without anyone requesting them, but I felt as if it would be more rewarding to wait until someone finally did. He has spent his entire life begging for a partner—with you as the target he’s been dreaming of—but with this sudden opportunity placed before him, he doesn’t know what to do... and is he really cut out to date someone as awesome as you? Wishing for a partner is immensely different than actually having one. Rather than immediately accepting the confession, he’ll hesitate before quickly realizing that he shouldn’t think, deciding that acting fast is probably the better option as compared to standing and worrying. He doesn’t want to lose you, after all! He’ll jump at you with open arms as if miraculously brought to life by your smile, nuzzling the living Hell out of your head. Wow, wow! A partner! How awesome! His thoughts won’t be very profound... nor will his speech. He’s pretty puppy-like in disposition. Despite being a bit worried about the future, though, he’s elated—especially because it’s you who likes him, not some rando or Totoko. I headcanon that his “crush” on her is just his version of coping with the fact he has nothing he truly came up with on his own. So, crushing on someone gives him the same sensations related to finally having his own idenity... but that’s a thought for another post. Anyways, your confession leaves him undeniably euphoric, really. He won’t exactly tell you that he feels the same, but it’s kinda obvious in the way he begs to kiss your cheek and tell his brothers about your confession.

I’ll be real with you; he’ll definitely want to show you off and the fact that you confessed first. You best prepare yourself for that.

Karamatsu : Did you say “lots of blubbering?” “Many futile attempts to hide his obvious tears?” Like Osomatsu, Karamatsu simply cannot believe someone as elegant and as beautiful as you returns his cheesy affections. It’s no secret that he’s a very emotional, guarded man who hides the truth behind painfully obvious facades of cringy confidence and things of that nature. Upon hearing your words, he‘ll stop whatever he’s doing and stare at you as if you single handedly fought off a horde of angry people, lips agape and eyes wider than saucers with tears already forming in the corners. He did not just hear you say that! By the gods! He definitely tries to mask his joy with those obnoxiously cringy phrases he loves, calling you his muse while claiming he knew this would happen—who can resist such a man as he? Yet... when push comes to shove, that persona of his is faltering immediately as soon as you laugh or even smile at his attempt to play it cool. I can tell you that much. As his tears finally fall, overwhelmed by just how euphoric you make him feel, he’ll let you comfort him like the man-baby he is. He’s just so overwhelmed that you, the light of his life, finally feels the same about such a lowly NEET like himself! Although crying like an infant, he’ll try and confess his own feelings in an attempt to win your affection further. What a dork!

Choromatsu : Don’t expect a dramatic reaction from this guy. On the surface, he’ll manage to stifle his joy and surprise well enough to smile at you, timidly (yet effectively) expressing himself in return. Great! Romance! However, on the inside, he’s indefinitely a panicked mess, stressed and worried about what he should say and do from this point onward. Dating? Who is she? He doesn’t know her—especially anything having to do with “wooing” you. Prior to your confession, he hardly flirted with you at all! He’ll definitely crack from time to time during his own confession, stuttering every so often, incapable of looking into your eyes for any extended period of time. If you want to see his composure fall, just kiss him, hug him, or try to hold his hand. Even quicker than Karamatsu’s facade, his unbothered approach will quickly melt into that whimpering mess we’re familiar with. Once he’s true to himself, though, he might even calm down and effectively convey himself without tripping over his words. You can expect to see a very prominent reddish hue on his cheeks. It compliments him greatly!

I’d also like to mention that he’s definitely the most obvious when it comes to his crush on you. I honestly don’t make the rules; I only enforce them!

Ichimatsu : This one is a bit tricky. While it’s easy to assume he wouldn’t have much of a reaction to your confession, it’s more accurate to say that his reaction would be the most negative out of his brethren. No, he won’t shoot you down, but he won’t say yes either. He’ll instead look at you in complete disbelief, confined to silence for a moment, before uttering that he doesn’t believe you and that you’re just trying to make him look like an idiot. If I’m being realistic, you’d probably have to space your confession out over the span of two days in order to reach the best results. You need to give him some time to sit and think through the thought of dating someone. Even though he adores you and your presence a lot—more than anything else—he views himself as garbage; someone unfit for love. He never would have imagined that his tiny crush would lead to this. If you confess to him and give him a day to think, however, you’ll find that Ichimatsu really is just misunderstood and touch-starved, desperate to find the love and support he has been dreaming of. He needs someone in his life who is willing to be patient with him and his struggles. The fact you are willing to wait for his indecisiveness to pass shows just how reliable you can be for him within a relationship. He’ll return to you the next day and wordlessly embrace you, ready to try something outside of his comfort zone. As long as it’s you he’ll be dating, he doesn’t really mind!

Jyushimatsu : Yeah... you can anticipate a lot of smiles and a lot of jumping up and down with flappy arms. He’ll definitely find your confession to be the most exciting thing ever, but it’s important to remember that Jyushimatsu is very, very incapable of keeping still and expressing himself with words (due to a lame vocabulary), so it’s advised to be patient with him and read his behaviors closely. Instead of expressing his own feelings with words, he’ll excitedly lunge at you and wrap you in his strong arms, absolutely ecstatic over the fact that his crush reciprocates his feelings. Internally, his mind is one with his outward demeanor, fueled by the ideas of what the two of you can do together now that he knows you feel the same. Again, while he may not express his love with words, the way in which he actively tries to kiss your cheek is a pretty solid indicator that he feels the same. Honestly, his reaction to being confessed to isn’t too different from his typical way of expressing himself to you. Prior to your confession, he always greeted you with a huge embrace! Now that he knows you feel the same, though, expect a lot of kisses and a lot of super tight hugs. You probably won’t get a confession out of him at all; you’ll have to ask him if he truly wants to start a relationship or not. Communication is always important. Although it may be hard to communicate with someone as exitable as him, it’s very important and he’ll appreciate it immensely! Trust me.

Todomatsu : Honestly, compared to the rest of his brothers, this guy’s reaction ought to be the most casual and, dare I say it, assertive of the bunch. His siblings are all painfully starved from social interaction and proper enactments of adulthood, so it’s no surprise that they’ll react like children when finally given the opportunities they have been dreaming of for years and years. Todomatsu, however, has grown to be a more social man when posed aside his extremely toxic brothers, constantly hanging out with girl after girl and guy after guy in order to climb to the top of his sextuplet home life. It’s no surprise that he’s the most unbothered by your confession of love. Upon hearing your confession, he’ll blush a bit while placing a smirk on his cheeks, dead set on teasing the Hell out of you. Being a tease is his specialty, after all. Even if he’s a bit embarrassed on the outside, he’s ready to assert whatever dominance he can. It’s cute, honestly, but that doesn’t mean he won’t comment on your confession or crush.

“Wow, Y/N-chan has a crush on me? How sweet!”

“Finally coming around, huh? You’re so cute.”

However, deep inside, peering around his two-faced nature and desire to be the best of his brothers, he’s shocked with your confession, feeling like a pampered prince who has just touched the most lavish cushion ever crafted by man. Finally! His efforts have been noted! You can expect to receive a hug or a kiss as he admits to liking you back. While it may not be the most extravagant reaction, your upcoming relationship will make up for it. I promise!

The Official RNG Showdown FAQ

This FAQ was only used for the Autumn 2023 & Winter 2023-24 Tournaments, a new FAQ was published for the Spring 2024 Tournament and onwards. Find it here!

Is there a tournament in progress?

The Winter 2023-24 tournament is over, the winner is Prussia. Read the Tournament Summary Post here!

There will be FAQ updates next week, before the Spring 2024 Tournament starts on March 1st.

The first poll for the rule changes has closed, Options 2 & 3 tied, the showrunner gave the win to Option 2!

The second poll for the rule changes has closed, Option 4 is the winner!

What is all this?

This blog runs a quarterly tournament where you vote for Hetalia characters, and where all groupings are completely random every time!

What are we voting on?

The champion will get temporary bragging rights when they win the tournament. They will also get to skip the quarterfinals in the next tournament, and go straight to the semifinals.

How will this work?

The first part of the tournament is the quarterfinals, where there will be 15 polls with 5-6 characters.

The 15 winners of the quarterfinals move on to the semifinals, where they will be joined by the winner of the previous tournament. The 16 characters will face off against each other, in 4 polls with 4 characters each.

The 4 winners of the semifinals will move on to the final poll, where the winner is this tournament’s champion!

How can I make my chosen character win the polls?

When you find that poll, vote for your choice, then reblog the post and tell all your friends to vote the same as you!

The only requirement for any replies, reblogs and tags is that you keep your comments respectful! You’re allowed to support your character, but don’t put down anyone else while doing so.

Should Himaruya introduce a new character in the Jump series manga while a tournament is in progress, the showrunner will check for their character card to appear on this site’s list before adding them to the next tournament.

The character names are plugged into this random number generator website to create the quarterfinal and semifinal groups.

When do tournaments start?

The showrunner intends to start a new tournament once every three months, with the first quarterfinal poll opening on the 1st day of the new month. Should a tournament require a lot of tiebreakers and push longer than 85 days long, the next tournament will be delayed an extra month at the showrunner’s discretion.

The showrunner may also adjust the tournament schedules as necessary should life events make it temporarily impossible to manage a tournament.

The showrunner will set up the tournament summary post ahead of time, which will summarize all the polls. This summary post will be updated with each poll post’s direct link as they get posted, and will be reblogged multiple times through the tournament. All individual poll posts will refer directly back to this summary post for tournament updates, as well as to this pinned FAQ post.

When can I see who's all in the groups?

The showrunner will not be revealing any quarterfinal or semifinal contestant matchups ahead of time! You’ll just have to watch for the polls to get posted!

What if a poll results in a tie?

Should a quarterfinal or semifinal poll result in a tie for 1st place, both/all the tied characters will move on to the next round. As the semifinal contestants will go through a second run of the RNG, there is only a 25% chance that the tied characters will face each other again that next round.

Should a final poll result in a tie, the showrunner will post an update to announce the creation of a 24-hour tiebreaker poll. This will announce the characters in question, and the scheduling date for the 24-hour poll. Both/all characters who end up in this tiebreaker poll will get free passes to the semifinals in the next tournament, regardless of who among them is the ultimate champion.

Rune Factory Secret Santa 2020!

Hello again everyone! This year has been tough for everyone in a lot of different ways, but I hope everyone has stayed safe and healthy so far. I’m Merry, and I hope we can all come together to spread more happiness and cheer than ever this year, and let’s hope Santa will bring us more Rune Factory 5 news soon, too!

I’ve had to slightly revise a few rules, so please read everything carefully!

This event has a PG-13 and below rating, meaning absolutely no nsfw. If you think what you made is questionable, it’s probably best not to post it.

Please make sure you are able to finish your gift! If you sign up and cannot complete it for any reason, contact me asap so that I can find a backup Santa.

Have your submit box or IMs open, please! This is the best way for me to send you all of the information you need to know once you are assigned someone. If I cannot contact you, you may be disqualified. (if you signed up last year and dropped out with no warning, I may not accept your application, so please message me first!)

If you sign up and then change your username and do not notify me, I will try to track you down once. If I cannot find you, then you may be disqualified from the event. Please be sure to keep me updated on any username changes!

Please, do your very best to give your giftee what their heart desires! Do your best to make their wish come true!

This shouldn’t need to be said, but if I find out you’ve used stolen art in your gift or put anything nsfw in the tag, you will be banned from participating in the future. Please make original gifts!

Sign-ups will remain open until November 20th! You will receive your match-up shortly after.

Once you receive your match-up, you will have about a month to get your gift completed! You are allowed to give them your gift any time between December 20th and New Year’s Eve. I will message everyone throughout the month (especially as it gets closer to the deadline) with reminders to get their gifts done.

All of that being said, the best way to give your giftee their gift is to post it publicly, and tag it under “RFSS2020″. I will reblog it here. If you do not wish for your gift to be public, then please submit it to me so that I may send it to them privately. It’s preferred that you do not send it to them directly, mainly so I will know that you completed your gift and don’t assign a back-up, but if you MUST send it to them directly, please let me know once you do so.

Are crossovers allowed? What about OCs? Crossovers within the Rune Factory and/or the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons universe are allowed as well as Rune Factory-based OCs.

-What forms of media are accepted for this event? Because I had some issues in the past with a few people, I have no choice but to narrow down the criteria to fanart and fanfiction. HOWEVER, that does not mean edits and videos are no longer allowed! You can still submit them so long as they have some sort of original aspect (like a video of a fanmade in-game scene, incorrect quote-styled edits, etc.), I will accept those into the “fanfiction” category. All that being said, if you’ve participated in the past with different forms of media than listed above, please contact me and we can work something out! (please message me if you have any questions about this)

Please put as much effort into this as possible. Your giftee would probably be disappointed with a blurry drawing on notebook paper taken with a camera, so I will not be accepting something like that as a final gift.

-I’m a fanfic writer, how long should my story be? I would recommend 1000 words minimum. There’s no word cap, but please keep it reasonable. Additionally, please put fanfics under a read-more, as they can consume the tag easily, especially for mobile users.

-Can I send my giftee an anonymous ask if I need more details about their gift? Yes, absolutely! If they do not have anonymous enabled, feel free to send me a message and I’ll ask for you.

-I want to participate but I don’t have a tumblr. Thankfully you don’t need one to participate, all you need to provide is a form of contact!

-I got assigned the same person as I have before! This is a small fandom, so that may happen with an event with many of the same people signing up year after year. I’m only one person, and I cannot remember who has been assigned to who before, so if this happens and you’d like someone else, please feel free to let me know!

-I got assigned something that I’m not familiar with! I use a random number generator to assign matchups and I do try to fix matchups that are incompatible, but sometimes I may miss something. If you are an artist, I may have to end up assigning you something RF1 based when you have only played RF4 based on how many signups there are, but when it comes to writers, I try my hardest to make sure they are familiar with the source material. Still, if you are assigned something or someone you are not comfortable with, please let me know ASAP and I will work on getting you switched.

-Rune Factory 5 is not out yet, can I still ask for something RF5 related? You can! You are more than welcome to request any of the characters we’ve seen from RF5 so far.
