I absolutely love these designs and the kooky stinky (/very affectionate) art style its WONDERFUL. Dogteeth looks like an actual dog w his head shape and his flopped ear and the way his claws dont seem to retract (?), n Carrionstar looks like a vulture w her markings n coloration…. just wanted to say that i admire how detailed you can make it even w how simplistic it looks <3

Ok this poem is sooooo popular but it hits every time. Having worked with animals and livestock and seen the beauty and fragility of life it just feels so important to me. There's so much I could say about this but I'll stop by just saying that Laura gets it

YAYYY this is literally like...my favroite poem. the way she describes her grandparent's relationship their dedication to each other the warmth of their love ??? the fear of the world ending and never having a chance to live a llife of love facing a doomed world head on??? the strength of it all to carry on past the end of the wolrd to keep them safe forever ??? plus the WORDs agh i love love love this poem its so good i ve read it a million times

They r both college students in tha au although I cannot remember what majors I gave them…. I think?? Clem was a theater major w a minor in English and Vee was a bio major of some sort w a minor in theater (they r both tryhards. Tragic). Vee is a healer who just goes by Vee but Clem calls it Cure. Clem is a villian known as Angel!! Angel is super popular w villain enjoyers Since they’re young and charming and like dotn even kill people thatttt much. Vee is rather unknown despite being an officially employed hero and they’re broke asf too. Vee has an insane self healing factor but weaker external healing. They show up after disasters, heal civilians, and leave p much. They don’t like doing the heavy lifting they got shit to do and places to be!!! Clem discovers them on an off chance and becomes obsessed and totally-not-stalkery. They worship Vee as a ‘true hero’ for not being in the spot light yet helping so many people and Vee is like dude I don’t even do that shit on purpose I just want to go home. Clem is like oh ur sooo silly tehee :3c so humble.! Anywho Clem constantly tries to engage Vee in fights to see their skills in action which doesn’t work. Until Clem threatens to blow up shit unless they do. And that works!! By becoming ‘rivals’ Angel boosts Vee into the public eye whihc is just what they wanted. Keeping Angels crimes at bay becomes an obligation for Vee in their mind, something they’re responsible for and have to take care of out of obligation. Lots of delicious guilt mixed in there too.

Clem primarily views Cure/Vee as a particularly cute stray dog but also as someone to admire. Because of Vees healing factor they can like near kill them and not have to worry! And Vee looks sooo cute covered in their own blood!! <- angels thought process. Vee keeping Angel under control is the equivalent of grabbing a knife by its blade if u get me. Also getting hurt feels just a little too satisfying to be normal. Yes this dynamic eventually escalates into something more like yuri. Clem teases Vee while also stabbing a knife into their gut they got a good routine going. Clem feels like vee is the only one who gets them even though they have tons of admirers and Clem also feels like they’re the only one that gets Vee (but they don’t. Not really.) sometimes they pin eachother and makeout in the back of alleys but they do not have a label and they are both aroace

Vee eventually finds out who Clem is as a civilian and decides.. to become their friend. For some reason. Civilian Clem is a weirdo but not a total freak. Just a funny fella with a few quirks! If/When clem finds out Vees identity they’re like oh so you knew? And you decided to approach me anyways? You really are special! You’re mine!!! Yipeee :3 and Vee is like well yeah okay I guess this is my life now. They still beat eachother up. And sometimes they makeout in each others dorm room. 💥💥

Barbatos is nothing if not extremely observant. Always watching, studying even the most minute actions of those around him so that he may better serve, better plan, better understand. You are no exception to this, though he has often mused about what an interesting subject you are – the human who pushed past any fears one could possibly have and made a home of the Devildom, tamed seven of the most powerful demons in the realm, and whose charms were even working on one as reserved as himself. 

He has somewhat of a mental dossier on you now – what makes you smile, what makes you upset, how your face changes to show intrigue or to show deep thought. 

But his favorite information to make use of? 

What makes your heart skip, your words falter, your whole countenance a flustered display. 

You are currently visiting the Demon Lord’s Castle, having asked to make use of the archives as you try to research a rather complex task given to you by Solomon. He is currently preparing tea, making a note to thank the sorcerer for providing an excellent reason to spend time with you (and smiling to himself at the thought of his pact-mate’s lip twitching just so in response – a sign of mild annoyance). 

As Barbatos approaches the archive door to ask if you’d please take a break and join him, he hears a soft thud and a string of curses falling from your lips. With a chuckle, he enters and gives you an inquisitive look. 

“Are you alright, MC?”

“Oh! Y-yes, I’m fine.” Clearing your throat, you turn to face the ever-impeccable demon with a hint of embarrassment on your features. “I just, uh, got a bit frustrated and dropped a couple things.” 

“Well, I’m glad that’s all. I heard you screaming murder and was worried for a moment.” His words convey concern, but his tone and the slight smirk that tugs his lips tell another story. The obvious exaggeration has the intended effect. 

“I-I was not screaming!” You huff, shooting him a look before moving to replace a book back on the shelf. It’s a bit out of your reach, but before you can place a foot on the nearby stool, a yelp leaves you as the demon’s tail wraps around your torso and lifts you to the required height. 

“B-Barbatos! Give me a bit of a warning next time!” You squirm for a moment in his grasp before giving him a teasing look. “Or did you really just want to hear me scream?” 

Perhaps you were simply hoping to fluster him as he often did to you, but playing such a game with this demon was dangerous. He simply gave you a sly smile before suddenly pulling you near flush against him as his tail slightly squeezed you in its grasp. 

“Hm, possibly – but there are much better ways for me to achieve such a goal, no?” He murmurs against your ear, and to his satisfaction he feels the warmth radiating off of your skin, hears the way your heart is racing. “Perhaps you’ll have to stay the night to find out.”
