been writing a script for a d+la show that will never get made haha. but it’s definitely fun!

it’s musical, magical, chaotic and very queer with the core relationships being the friendship of the bandmates.

there’s family drama, creative differences and a lot of magical issues but the love everyone has for each other is huge and that’s lovely to write

#i dont know what to tag this haha #al has ideas sometimes #d+la #theres a canon trans character because almost everything i write has a trans character in lol #i am the agenda they warned you of #but most of the cast is teenage girls cause demographics #and lesbian mums because of course!#also its more diverse racially than most disney la shows are #but thats another conversation #its a mostly girl band except for the trans guy which was most of my musical experience growing up #so is this just projection sure #but ive never drank a magical potion so...

DC supervillain of the week who traps the justice league(in their league disguises) in a reality tv show like love island. it airs on tv and everything like they use supervillain powers to forcefully broadcast "love island: justice league edition" while the supers have to try and figure out how to escape. during a personal squabble wondy steps up and says "everyone calm down, we're all a team, we each have our strengths and weaknesses, we need to work together to solve this" and then it cuts to her talking head segment and she says "im not a fan of green lantern."

#actually im not sure who diana would dislike i feel like she projects an air of being Above All That #but there are some green lanterns i think might rub her the wrong way. isnt one of them sexist due to being an Old Comics Character but the #got phased out so it just left the impression that the character never grew out of his slimy behavior or something?#i cant remember the GL drama. sorry i have yet to find someone that makes me enthusiastic abt the GLs so i forget the lore #but i know there's a GL everyone hates in fandom. so lets say she doesnt like that guy.

#Fourfold Soul #<- That's the title of the project I've been working on!#I am very excited to finally show off the cowboy (gender redacted) I've been cooking in a slow boil!!! Yeehaw!#Yes this is the game project. YES I am commited to the bit of having the main character go through a long running pronoun-quest.#This character does not have a name so I cannot formally tag them...#(Okay. Technically they have an internal name for coding/scripting reasons...and I have a nickname for them.#But the important part of making a video game character you get to eventually name is that the name must come from *you*!)#The girl here is a npc so she has a temporary name. So I also cannot tag her. Hmm...#I have several FFS comics thumbnailed out. This one got made first because it's the funniest without context. Lore wise it's weak.#I would love to post the sexy clown but you have to wait just a few more comics.#Fun artist woes moment to share: This is the first time I've had to colour these characters traditionally. *That* was NOT fun.#Going from a specific digital colour palette to being at the whims of my limited colour choices in markers? Hell! On! Earth!#I might also be extra frustrated because this sure is 3x the length of what I usually do for comics! I spent a Whole Day on this.#Past me thought it was soooo funny and needed all the extra panels for pacing. I hate past me. That guy needs to be exploded.
