Agency Assignments: A comprehensive to-do list for saving Dead Boy Detectives!

I'm very easily overwhelmed, so I wanted to break down all the ways to help "Save Dead Boy Detectives" that I have seen floating around. This is meant to be something you can reference when you feel like there is so much you need and want to do to help, but don't know how or where to start.

Note: I will be updating this post as we go when necessary, so feel free to bookmark it in your browser for easy access, add it to your homepage, whatever! I'll always have a link to it in my Pinned Navigation post on my blog as well!

It is of the utmost importance that we fight as an organized, well-informed front. We need to be on the same page if we're going to save our show, so let's get into it! 💜💀🔎

➪ Next, follow @deadboyagency for news and updates: they've been around since the show dropped and have been an invaluable source of information the entire time.

Now for some task breakdowns:

"One-Time" Tasks

➪ Like the header says, these things can only be done once. Once you do them, you don't have to give them any space in your mind.

Sign the petition*

Review & Rate Dead Boy Detectives on Google, IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes. Be sure on IMDB you don't just rate the show as a whole, but you also rate each individual episode! You can also "Like" the show on Google and click "Watched" which helps the show's engagement scores. (If there are other popular sites I haven't listed here, feel free to share them and rate Dead Boy Detectives highly on them!)

Notify Netflix customer service (through their online chat feature) that you're unhappy with the cancelation of Dead Boy Detectives. This is a short, 5-minute task that I wrote a guide on (with an example message) here!

"Repeat" Tasks:

➪ These tasks can become a part of your daily routine; do what works best for you! You don't have to do every single one of these tasks every day if that is overwhelming!

Share the petition* over and over again, on every one of your socials! Make everyone you love sign it!

Stream Dead Boy Detectives!* Keep it on a loop in the background on low volume as much as possible. Try to get others to stream it as well, especially if they haven't watched it before! Netflix cares about VIEWS: views save shows and I broke down the reasoning here. (Bonus: if you post over on Twitter about your rewatch, use the tag #ReviveDeadBoyDetectives)

Talk about Dead Boy Detectives!* You're probably doing that already, but just be sure that you're tagging your posts. Here on Tumblr use the "Dead Boy Detectives" tag at least (to boost our tag to trending) and anywhere that uses hashtags (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram for example) I would recommend #SaveDeadBoyDetectives and #DeadBoyDetectives as those seem to be the most commonly used tags! IMPORTANT: do not use more than 20 tags here on Tumblr! Any more than 20 and your posts might be marked as spam and hidden from the tags!

Create art, edits for TikTok, fics, gif sets, doodles, crafts, analysis posts, and so on for Dead Boy Detectives.* Having fun is important, too! This is an extension of the "Talk about Dead Boy Detectives" point, but it needs to be stated - don't remove the joy from the fight. If a drawing of our boys or a smutty fic with your favorite trickster cat king is what you can bring to the fight on any given day, that is a perfectly valuable contribution! It's not all emails and hashtags.

Daily request a show through Netflix. Bonus if you're signed in! (I do 3-5 times a day)

Send Emails advocating for Dead Boy Detectives (Email list & Email Template). You can do this as much as you want or just one time.

Send Snail-mail (physical letters) to Netflix advocating for Dead Boy Detectives. I also send a copy of my letters to Warner Bros. Studios. Again, you can do this one time or multiple times. There are dates set aside for "mass" mail sending as well, so check out info on that here!

Interact with articles posted about Dead Boy Detectives. Read them, share them, comment on them, thank the writer for writing them, etc. We want lots of press about the cancellation, and supporting journalists and publications will make them want to write about Dead Boy Detectives more.

NOTE: Anything marked with a * means it's extremely important; if you can only do a few things, these tasks are the ones that you should focus on first. Remember to take care of yourself. This is a marathon, not a sprint, so don't burn yourself out!

WE WILL SAVE THIS SHOW.

Say that to yourself as many times as it takes for you to believe it. We're doing this to get justice for the writers, the actors, for ourselves, and assert to these companies that diverse, queer stories are not disposable one-offs; they deserve to be told in full!

Hello everyone, yes, I finally did it! I made new free 3D models for the undertale community! Edit: Added a video so people see what's that about =P

This time, featuring Papyrus and Sans with a brand new face! Yay! Making Papyrus was quite the challenge, haha! The goal is to use them on a Free 3D animation website called Mixamo to create infinite boney references!

Here is the full tutorial on how to use them on Mixamo. Don't hesitate to ask questions if you are lost! Since it is suuuuper long, I'll add it under the cut with extra crediting info and the link to the models!

Here are the links to the 4 models! The ones named "fullanatomy" are naked you are warned. The others are those shown above.

Yes, they are 100% free. The only thing I ask is to respect the hours of work that went into it by crediting me on Tumblr: @lenne13 or @lenne13artblog on Twitter: @LTenkei, or on DA @13-Lenne-13. If you use them on any other platforms, just link any I guess? XD Whatever you are the most comfortable with. The Undertale community is very respectful though, and I never had problems with people using my models without proper credit, I trust you marvelous artist!

If you do a comic, you don't have to credit me on all the pages. Just do it once on your first page; that's more than enough! I'm super curious what'll you'll all do with it! Ah, small precisions. You can use it for nsfw, but please don't tag me in nsfw art. I am an sfw blog, I know you sinners, but there are kids around here =P

You can use those 3D models anywhere, not only in Mixamo, but I wanted to show people how you can use 3D models in Mixamo to create 2D references.

Don't hesitate to download the full image on google drive to zoom in on it. (I could not upload it in one single image here as it was too long it might be more convenient this way) Using your phone helps too as it’s super easy to zoom on the pics there!

Additional notes: The 3D models have invisible spheres parts on the pelvis and the hands. They are only there because Mixamo doesn't read the models well without them. 

If you plan on using the 3D models for your own 3D project on Maya or Blender, you can just delete those. 

However, if you plan on using 3D clothes with physics on them, you'll need to add more invisible spheres, especially on the chest, because clothes physics and ribs do not mix well AT ALL. I tried >w>

Careful the models don’t have UVs, they are simply painted with Lambert materials if you want custom textures you’ll need to do the UVs. The topology is not too shabby so you should be able to do it easily.

Hi! Me again (so sorry to bother you)

Since I'm new to Tumblr and I have no clue how to use it and I'm just bullsh*tting my way around it, I had the brilliant idea to change my username, but now all the links to the posts are no longer working? Because they still send to the posts with the old username and it no longer exists?

You're an expert on this, so my question is: how do I make them work again without going back to the old name?

It's probably a very stupid question, but I really don't know what I'm doing rn, except for panicking.

hey no worries! tumblr is dumb and doesnt automatically change everything, so you have to manually change things. im not sure which links you are talking about, so im going to be talking about all the ones i think you might be talking about:

for links in a post:

1. go to your blog and find the post

2. click the pencil icon

3. place your cursor anywhere on your linked text

4. an " edit | remove | open" toggle should pop up

5. press edit and edit the beginning of your url to your current user i.e. https://abc.tumblr.com/post.... >> https://xyz.tumblr.com/post... make sure you leave everything else the same!

6. save your post! (make sure you do this step!!)

for links in your blog description:

1. go to your desktop theme (click on your blog, where it pops up like a side window, and then click your blog user again at the top. your desktop blog should open in a new window) (you can also just type in your url into the browser like "abc.tumblr.com")

2. click on the lil bob ross palette in the top right corner (its usually hidden -- you gotta move your cursor to the top right and itll pop right up. if it doesnt try using a different browser bc tumblr is a broken hellsite)

3. youre now in the "customize" page aka the main editing hub of your blog. you should see a giant text box labeled as " appearance options" w your blog title and descr.

4. edit your link html code: <a href="https://abc.tumblr.com/...">[text]</a> to <a href="https://xyz.tumblr.com/...">[text]</a>

5. hit the blue save button and you can exit the window ✨ (you know its saved once the save goes grey)

for links in your navigation/sidebar desktop theme:

1. you gotta go to your customize "customize" page aka the main editing hub of tumblr (steps 1-3 from "links in your blog description")

2. scroll down to your "theme options" (it should be right under a giant text box labeled as " appearance options")

3. find the link you wanna fix and edit your tumblr url like: https://abc.tumblr.com/ ... >> https://xyz.tumblr.com/...

4. hit the blue save button and you can exit the window ✨ (you know its saved once the save goes grey)

for links in your blog page:

1. you gotta go to your customize "customize" page aka the main editing hub of tumblr (steps 1-3 from "links in your blog description")

2. scroll all the way down. you should see your page at the bottom after your links. click into the page

3. a new interface should pop up. place your browser to the link you wanna fix. click on the highlighted sideways infinity

4. edit your tumblr url like: https://abc.tumblr.com/ ... >> https://xyz.tumblr.com/...

5. REMEMBER TO CLICK UPDATE LINK!!!!!!

6. once youre done w all the tomfoolery (and seriously regretting your url change), remember to click the blue save button on the top right! you can exit the window once youre done ✨

TIPS: if you double click on your user, tumblr automatically highlights just your user, so you can just copy your tumblr user and just double click and ctrl+v to speedrun through this process.

Hey a while ago you mentioned a guy filming and harassing people w/o permission and someone like that did that to me and my mother in a coffee shop in the area. I'm kinda worried I'm in one of his videos? Not trying to give him attention but is there a way I can search him or find his videos?

WOW tumblr is trash so i’ve had messages for two months and not known

but in case anyone else remembers this and is curious, i’m going to respond to this anyway with the full story

in october i was filmed by an “instagram comedian” who went by various spellings of “plain potatoes” on ig. sometimes with 2 or more "s" at the end. for those who missed it, he recorded me for about 40 minutes in my crowded cafe after harassing customers of mine to the point of almost being in tears (harassment taking the form of insults and invasive gross personal questions, other antagonizing behavior.) 

he would film people with his phone with the screen facing them, held in their face so they’re forced to watch themselves being recorded. he baits them until they freak out and then edits himself out of the footage to make them look crazy and irrational. he’s done this through baltimore, part of virginia and pennsylvania, and other maryland counties from what i understand.

because of his pattern of harassment that also included trespassing, chasing people, and kissing someone in one of his videos. one guy posted in the neighborhood safety page that the kid threatened to rape him in barnes and noble. but a baltimore detective used reddit and facebook to build a case against the kid and charged him with 12 counts of harassment and trespassing. i don’t know what the consequences mean, but that’s the resolution.
