I'm trying REALLY hard not to build up any solid expectations, because I wanna go in ~fresh~! they're already so far away from anything I thought would happen (not in a bad way, I'm just accepting that I'm on Miss Yana's Wild Ride at this point and we're seeing this thing through 'til the end, by gum). so it's nothing too major, but:

Since I could not find anything useful when I tried searching the lyrics for Farde Mal Diavolo (+ So We Sing), I have since taken it upon myself to figure it out.

Disclaimer: I am by no means a professional translator or a localizer. Therefore there is a margin for error. Somethings might not actually be quite right, something might be switched simply because how sentences work in each language, while others were certainly tried at making it sound smoother for English. If anything these are just dolled up personal notes of mine if only to have some semblance of sense to what is being sung.

For reference, these lyrics are being translated from Japanese and not the language it is sung in because quite frankly, I don't know what it is. There are lyrics—and in consideration with the release of Metaphor Re:Fantazio—that I thought might have been an auxiliary language (or another language I am just really not familiar with), but I don't know enough about that to really say for sure or make headway. So, this fan translation is from what I do have some knowledge of (and what I imagine to be corresponding Japanese lyrics).

Additional translator's note for Farde Mal Diavolo having seen how the English and Japanese are translated for So We Sing: the spots with the extra spaces are still grouped in one line of lyric. It's just that the following is capitalized like a new sentence without other punctuation. For here I didn't do that and instead put a comma for separation and no capitalization.

Eventually, I also plan on getting to So We Sing at the very least because it has referential lyrics like this, but that will be done at a later time.

I wouldn’t really say they “take their time” necessarily…. Malleora don’t get married until after they’ve both graduated NRC- and even then, even if they married beforehand, Eleanora is vehemently against having children while she’s still in college- and she’s determined to graduate NRC, because she knows nothing about the world she’s in and he’s a prince. Girlie needs all the knowledge she can get.

Also, the only egg baby is Felix, lol. He’s the last kiddo and only happens because El worries about how Malleus will handle it when she (potentially) passes away. He’s the only one who ages like a dragon from birth- to the amusement of his siblings, and Malleus gets to be like, “This is actually normal for dragons, you know. You aged like humans until you reached a certain age due to your mother, but this is typical of a dragon. Perhaps because he came from an egg? Hmm…”

Getting personal on the track but man. What if I said disabled Jepexx with chronic pain and muscle weakness, maybe some tics and absence seizures. Always acting larger than life so he doesn’t have to acknowledge how in pain he is, laughing the loudest at jokes and making sure that everyone knows he’s alive, he’s here, he’s fun. He needs a shower chair and grab bars, maybe some forearm crutches, but he doesn’t actually use them because he’s afraid to be looked at differently. His friends joke about how he says weird shit at the worst times (coprolalia) zones out in the middle of conversations (petit mal seizures) and has greasy hair (too in pain to shower) and he refuses to explain that it’s because he’s hurting. It’s all a part of his front of Normal Person Who Doesn’t Care when really he’s in so much pain all the time and fights so hard to appear normal. Because what does he have if he’s not the normal abled Jepexx he always was? Maybe he has a severe crash, one where he has to stop hiding his symptoms and is forced to come to terms with the wreck of his body. Thinking about how @lowcallyfruity was saying that NRC should have a marching band and/or cheer club, and while I can’t think of any of my NRC OCs who would want to be part of a cheer team, I do think my Twst! Iago OC, Sinbad would want to be part of the marching band!

I wasn’t sure what instrument I should give him, and I didn’t see very many options in the props section, but I think that this trumpet would work well for him!
