You don’t need to be alone anymore: Agatha Harkness/Agnes x fem!reader
Masterlist
Requested by: @midnight-lestrange
Summary: You´re a lonely witch who was never accepted in any coven because everyone was afraid of your dark powers, you got used to live alone for many centuries, but when you meet Agatha in Westview you fall in love with her, you´re scared of getting attached to her so you try to ignore her, but Agatha never gives up.
Words: 7k+
Warnings: Angst but fluff in the end.
Author´s note: Hi, this was a requested story, I do not know if I should tag the people who requested at the time, I want to be respectful, so I am not sure if I should tag them, I will try and do it since it was their request and their idea and if any of the people who requested back at the time now feel uncomfortable being tagged, please let me know and I will delete the tag.
This was one of the first stories I wrote three years ago, I had posted them on Tumblr on my old account, but due to my mental health, I had to take a break from Tumblr and the toxicity and hate that had suddenly increased, I deleted all of my stories and my old account, now I have decided to upload them again here on Tumblr and also on Ao3.
Again, as this was one of the first stories I wrote for Agatha Harkness is a little bit short, I will be uploading the rest of the stories from time to time, I have to edit them and make sure they are legible enough and with not a lot of grammatical errors.
I hope you like it!
If you enjoy, could you comment, like or reblog? it would help a lot really ♥️

Doing everything on your own wasn’t a big deal for you, passing all your life alone had made you stronger, you didn’t need anyone in your life and you were alright by just being on your own.
At least that was what you kept telling yourself at nights when sometimes the only thing that you needed was a hug.
The feeling of a hug someone had gave to you felt so far away, almost like a dream as if it was something unreal, dreaming about the feeling deep down you craved the most.
But then just as the thoughts of needing comfort came to your mind they quickly vanished too.
Now that you were trapped in Westview playing the role Wanda had given to you it wasn’t too hard.
The fact that Wanda had given you the role of a lonely girl living by herself and from time to time having to attend to Dottie’s meetings wasn’t a hard thing to do, it was not far from who you really were, so it was not a big thing to do.
Eastview was a really grey and kind of a sad place to live in, it had been some centuries ago when you arrived to the town, by the time you first stepped in, it wasn’t even called like that, and it was a really good thing that there were no other witches around when you arrived.
Witches were afraid of you because of you dark powers, and not just a few witches, centuries ago you had looked for a safe coven to be part of and at first, they all had accepted you with open arms but just as soon as they saw your powers, they became afraid.
Being the daughter of a witch who had practiced dark magic for most of her life well, you had inherited dark magic as well, you were not sure how that was possible but it had happened and you couldn’t get rid of your magic.
You really didn’t understand why all of the other witches were so afraid, you were not a bad person and you thought that you could help people even if you had dark powers, but your opinion didn’t matter to them, they just wanted you away from them and that hurt a lot.
Going from coven to coven with high hopes that maybe in the next one they would help you control and understand your magic, but none of that happened, no one wanted you near, so you just accepted your faith.
You realized no one would ever be there for you and no one would ever stand up for you, so you decided that you didn’t need someone and that no one would ever hurt you or abandon you again, this time you would ignore everyone.
Two days ago, when Wanda arrived at Eastview you sensed her magic and before you could even understand what was going on, everything changed, your house and your clothing had changed too and, in your mind, there were pictures of a different life you had never had.
You quickly understood what was going on, someone was trying to implant fake memories but your magic was stronger than this new magic, so this didn’t get to you.
Wanda’s magic hadn’t affected your mind but it looked like it had affected all of the inhabitants of what was now called Westview, you found it interesting how this could have been possible? You brushed the thought off maybe it was not so bad.
The clothes were pretty cool and maybe a little change in the town wasn’t so bad, you just had to play along the memories that were supposed to be real and you even got a new name as well as everyone, but you were a bit curious, had the personality of your neighbors changed as well or did it remain the same?
It was kind of late and you wanted to rest, and according to your new memories and the calendar tomorrow you had a meeting at the club so tomorrow you would find what else had changed.
Now you were just waking up and the weather was nice also you will have a meeting with other girls so now you would know what really was going on, feeling quite excited to know what else was new you prepared yourself for the day and after getting everything done and giving a final check at yourself in the mirror you left your house, walking down the street you already knew where you were walking as if there had been always this club and you had attended hundreds of times, yes it was weird but at the same time interesting.
Arriving at the club you noticed that just three women were sitting in the poolside benches but you were sure the others would arrive at any moment, so you just sat at one of the chairs that formed kind of a circle.
One thing you noticed was that the other residents had a dim red light around them, if you put enough attention you would see it around them that’s how you know they were being controlled.
When everybody start to arrive at the chairs you noticed they were walking behind Sarah and they were talking to her as if she was a celebrity, so her role was to be in charge of everything and the other women just followed her, you found this funny, Sarah was usually nice to you but sometimes she could be a little mean to other people but actually she was not that bossy so you didn’t mind, still you wanted to know more.
You were looking at all the other women and how some of them were acting far from how they really were, some of them used to be really nice and now they were just like some kind of mean girls, one of them was really shy when normally she would be making everybody laugh, you were so focused on examining everything that you didn’t notice some sitting right next you.
Now you just learned that Sarah’s new name was Dottie and everyone wanted her validation, even though you found this funny you were not a person who would usually express how you were feeling, it was something you had learnt to cover over the years.
The meeting kept going mostly with Dottie speaking all the time you were really not paying attention until you heard someone at your side
“This might help a little” Your heard someone saying that beside you and when you turned your head to look at the owner of the voice you saw a woman with dark-brown hair showing you what it looked like a small alcohol container, you were trying hard not to laugh but her comment had been really funny, you just looked at her and tried to ignore her quickly putting your attention or at least you tried to, back at Dottie, but what it was interesting is that this woman didn’t have the red tint around herself, also you had never seen her, but you tried to ignore that fact too.
After 10 minutes later you heard the same voice of the pretty woman whispering again
“Really, how is anybody doing this sober?” This time you had to bit your lip not to laugh, she was really funny, but you had to maintain a serious face.
You noticed this woman was eyeing you by the corner of your eye, she was looking at you, she was trying to see any type of reaction at her words, she was interested and just as you notice the red mist around the people, she had noticed the same and she could see that you didn’t have any, and by the time she was entering the club she felt a strong magic coming from the place, it was dark but at the same time she didn’t feel any type of danger coming from this magic.
When she noticed you sitting in the chair, she became aware that the power was coming from you, it was strong, how could Wanda not notice it? Well, she was immersed in her own made up world so it would be hard for her to notice there was something different around this town.
She wanted to catch your attention but you seemed like you were not interested in her at all.
Finally when the meeting finished you saw Dottie walking towards you and you wondered what she wanted, maybe a little help with the organization of the talent show, you noticed that the two women next to you were still sitting there, the woman who said the funny comments and the other one, now you could see the other woman you realized she had been the one who had changed everything in the town, you could feel her power and the same red mist that emanated from her.
“Sweety would you like to help decorating the place?” Asked Dottie, you nodded you really didn’t have anything else to do and this was quite interesting.
“Hey Dottie I can help her to decorate the place, many hands can do better things than just a pair” The humorous woman said winking at you, deep down you were laughing internally but physically you just sighed and kept looking at Dottie
“Great, now my favorite girl won´t be alone, right?” It was curious, Sarah the real person, when she first met you she wanted to get close to you, she wanted to be your friend but of course you didn’t want that the story of someone leaving you would repeat again, so you just acted cold towards her and in the end she decided to distance herself, but now with the new personality, Dottie treated you like when she first met you.
“ OH, her favorite girl huh? Why is that, are you two, you know?” Said the dark-brown haired woman with a smirk in her face, Dottie just rolled her eyes at her
“Now Agnes that doesn’t concern you” So her name is or more like her role was to be Agnes, you thought, who was she really?
“So now that Agnes offered, you two can deck out the garden and I will make sure that everything concerning the chairs and the tables is in order” You nodded saw that while Dottie was leaving the woman that was next to Agnes followed Dottie.
You were about to leave to go to the place where everything was supposed to take place and you felt a hand on your shoulder.
“Now darling I think we have a lot to talk, don´t we? We really don´t have to decorate anything it was just something Wanda-“ Agnes pointed at the woman with the red hair before speaking again
“Wanda made Dottie say, I think she wanted to talk to her alone, you´ll see there will be more people decorating, now I need to talk to you, let´s go to a more private place away from Wanda, shall we?” So now you understood that she knew you were aware, you saw her stretching out her arm, it looked like she wanted you to link her arm with hers, you were not about to do it.
“Let´s go to a different place but please do not link your arm with me, we can just walk side by side, but that´s all, alright?” You started to walk towards the exit and you didn’t see Agatha squinting her eyes to look at you, she was curious, you were a little different, and she wanted to know what was going on with you, how had you ended up here in Westview and how you had dark magic.
Agnes placed herself next to you, she was a little taller than you and she eyed you again, she didn’t understand why you were such a serious person.
“Maybe we could go to my house darling, no one will interrupt us there, is that alright with you?” You just nodded you really didn’t have anything to lose.
Agnes guided the walk you just followed her through the streets, her house was not so far from the club.
Arriving at her front porch she opened the door and let you in first, you found this very cute and charming from her part but you were not about to say that to her you also tried to hide the slight blush that appeared in your face.
She smirked she could swear she had seen you blush but she decided not to say anything.
Agnes closed her door and she saw you standing there in her living room, you looked lost.
“You can sit darling this will take some time” You nodded again and decided to sit in one of the couches, just when you sat down Agnes went to what you guessed was the kitchen, you took a deep breath and tried to stay calm, rubbing your hands against your dress trying to soothe yourself, being around Agnes who is a really pretty woman you couldn’t help but to be nervous, although you were pretty good at hiding what you were actually feeling, when you heard her footsteps coming closer you sat straight and put on your serious face.
“Here you have sweetheart a glass of cold lemonade, I did it myself” She said handing to you the glass, you took it from her and took a quick sip, it was great.
“Thank you” You said without looking at her, she waited some minutes, waiting to see if you were going to say something else, but when she realized you were not going to say something else, Agnes sighed.
“Alright I can see you´re a quiet girl, but that´s alright I have a lot to say for both of us” She said looking at you all the time, you just nodded and finally you stared at her, now that you were looking cautiously you noticed how pretty her blue eyes were, she was really pretty and her power was really strong you could sense it, you felt drawn to it, maybe because her powers were like yours, both of your came from dark magic.
Agnes sat herself in the couch in front of you, never taking her eyes off you.
“My real name is Agatha Harkness, buttercup, and I´m a witch but I´m pretty sure you already know that, I can sense your power, is strong, really strong and I can feel the darkness coming from you, but I´m curious dear, I don´t feel any danger coming from your magic, what is it? Who are you? Just a few witches are brave enough to embrace the beauty of dark magic”
You were lost for words, she was not afraid of your magic, she was interested and everything she had said about dark magic was simply beautiful, no one had ever spoken about dark magic like her, you felt something breaking inside you, you wanted to tell her everything, suddenly you just wanted to tell her so she could hold you, denying yourself a simply thing like a hug for centuries now was taking its toll on you, you just wanted someone to hold you.
Agatha never stopped watching you, and she could swear that she saw you struggling with your own thoughts, you were not a threat and she could feel that even though you had dark magic you wouldn’t be able to put someone in danger, you looked so broken but you hide it behind that cold mask, Agatha had seen all of this by just looking at your sad eyes.
The feeling didn’t last longer, you quickly composed yourself and took another sip of your lemonade.
“My name´s y/n, and it is not my fault that I possess this dark magic, it was my mother´s fault, she was pregnant when she started to play with dark magic, and I´m not sure how but my mother told me that when I was born, dark magic was already running through my veins”
You told her trying to act as if that hadn’t doomed you to be alone for the rest of your life.
Agatha was surprised, she had never heard of someone who had been born out of dark magic, this was strange, how could you have dark magic within you but at the same time you were not interested in your powers, you seemed as if you despise them.
“Have you used them to obtain something? Dark magic can be very powerful dear” The pet names she was calling you were too much for you to handle, no one had ever called you like that, and you were dangerously liking the way she was talking to you.
Should you tell her that you didn’t know how to use your powers? No one taught you how to use them, all the witches were afraid of you.
“I´m not interested in my powers” You told her looking right into her eyes in order to make her believe that you were telling the truth.
Agatha of course didn’t believe you; you had a great power within you, how could you not be interested in it? This was unbelievable, but she realized that you were not going to tell her the truth, so she had to try something else, Agatha sighed again and she placed her hand under her chin, examining you.
“Alright, then how did you arrive here? Did you feel Wanda´s power too?” You just blinked, so you were right she didn’t live here, she arrived after Wanda came here, you couldn’t help but feel disappointed.
This look didn’t go unnoticed by Agatha and just kept staring at you.
“I already lived here; Eastview has always been a peaceful place to live” You simply answered not wanting to keep talking, you stood from the couch and Agatha was confused, then how a powerful witch like you had ended up here?
“I think I should leave; the talent show will be ready in a few hours and I think this woman Wanda wants all of us to be there”
Agatha quickly stood and placed herself in front of you touching slightly your arms and you tensed.
“Hey you know, maybe I could help you with your magic, I know a lot about dark magic, we can work together, I can help you to develop more your powers, I can be your mentor” Agatha said with a genuine smile, that was what you had wanted the most years ago, if only someone had offered you help, you hesitated for a moment, you really wanted her help but what if in the end she just leaves like everyone did?
Agatha sensed your hesitation, now she really wanted to help you but she couldn’t understand why you couldn’t accept, what was stopping you?
“Thank you but no, I´m really good on my own, I really don´t need the help of anyone” Once again you were hiding behind that cold mask.
Agatha wanted to insist but she didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable so she decided to give you time to think.
“Alright, then I will see you at the talent show angel”
“See you there Agatha” Agatha gave you a half smile why wouldn’t you let her help you, with a confused look on her face she went to the door to open it for you, you thanked her and stepped out of her house, however Agatha couldn’t stop thinking about you, the way you looked so sad but at the same time so strong, what had happened to you? She had been interested in Wanda´s magic but now you just had drawn her attention, she wanted to get to know you better.
Some hours later you decided to go the talent show, you had never attended to one and even though you had seen real magic in action you were excited for this, it was something new.
Arriving at the place you saw some of the women who had attended to the club already sitting in the chairs, seeing some chairs in front a table that were not taken you sat down there waiting for everything to start.
Putting your elbows on the table you placed you chin on your hands, and minutes later you heard someone sitting next to you, turning your head a little you saw it was Agatha, she smiled gently at you and you waved your hand a little.
“Are you ready to see some dumb fake tricks darling?” She asked winking at you, you just nodded for what it felt like the tenth time in the day.
You noticed Agatha kept looking at you, her glance was so intense that you were afraid she would burn a hole in your face.
By the time the show started you saw Wanda on stage accompanied by a tall man, you didn’t know who it was.
“That’s Wanda’s husband, Vision, dear” Agatha whispered in your ear and your body shivered, this time you couldn’t hide your reaction and Agatha noticed it.
“This is boring, wanna see some real action there darling?” You couldn’t answer because you saw Agatha moving her hands and smoke purple emanated from her hands and quickly you saw what she had caused on stage, you really couldn’t help but laugh, this was really funny and even if you wanted not to laugh you couldn’t help it.
Agatha found it so cute the fact that you were trying to cover your laugh with your hand, she saw the movement on your shoulders and she smiled, she thought your laugh was so sweet and she wanted to make you laugh more.
You couldn’t ignore Agatha; she was a really funny person.
When the tricks and Vision’s act ended you heard him saying he needed a volunteer and Agatha was faster than anyone to make a comment
“Are you sure you don’t want an audience volunteer named "my husband Ralph?” That cracked you up, and this time you laughed, hard, she was hilarious and the other people who heard her laughed as well.
Agatha heard the sound of your laugh and her heart melted at the sound, she looked at you and saw the way your eyes squinted when you were laughing, she had never seen someone so beautiful but with a lot of sadness at the same time, she wanted to do something, she wanted to see you happy and even though she had met you some hours ago, she felt something warm growing inside her chest.
“Darling, you have a beautiful laugh” When you heard that you instantly froze and stopped laughing, your face became serious again and you cleared your throat.
You just turned your head a little you look at her to give her a shy smile
Agatha smiled back at you with a sad smile, you were so beautiful why were you trying so hard to hide yourself? Why didn’t you want to be seen?
When the talent show ended and everyone else clapped you decided it was time to leave, standing up from the chair Agatha stood up as well
“Hey darling do you want me to accompany you to your house?” She asked while trying to grab gently your arm, but you stepped back a little
“No, it’s alright, I can walk alone, have a goodnight Agatha” You said in a rushed you didn’t want to spend a lot of time with her, you couldn’t let yourself get attached to her, if she decided to leave she wouldn’t even think about you, so it was better to evade any other type of interaction, she was just here because of her interest in Wanda’s magic, and she could leave any time, you were not about to fall for a woman you had just met.
Walking alone through the street you arrived at your house, once again the loneliness and sadness took over you, talking to Agatha felt so risky, you didn’t want to end up with your heart broken, she was just so sweet and you couldn’t stop thinking about her.
Agatha wanted to be close to you she wanted to help you with your powers, but you just pushed her away, she felt disappointed because she really wanted to help you one way or another.
Later that night you noticed Westview changing again, and once again the furniture and the decorations changed too, it was a nice change and you notice right away the era had changed you were pretty sure now it was the 70´s, you had already passed through that time years ago.
Days kept passing and Agatha tried to talk to you, she would always come to your house just to ask if you were doing fine, you weren’t sure how she had discovered where you lived but maybe she had just asked Wanda where was your house, of course Wanda knew where everyone was.
During her quick visits, sometimes she would give you little gifts, one day she gave you flowers, you still blushed at the memory, that day you couldn’t stop thinking about her, she looked so pretty with her straight hair you had seen her passed by your street riding her bike, you had been looking through the window thinking about how things were going on Westview and what had caught your attention had been the sound of the bell in her bike, when you saw her you smiled, whenever she was near you felt happiness but that was something you wouldn’t let her know.
After the first time she passed riding her bike in front of your house, then minutes later she passed through again and you laughed, you were sure she knew you were in the window, 10 minutes later again she passed again and this time she waved her hand at you just to disappear again on the other side of the street, you waited another 10 minutes because you thought she would pass again but this time she didn’t and you felt disappointed so you walked to your couch to take a nap or at least to try, but when you had placed yourself in the couch someone knocked on you door, you went to answer the door and this time you couldn’t hide your smile, Agatha was standing in your door with a bunch of flowers in her hands, you looked at them and they were so pretty.
“Hello angel, I was on my way to my house and I decided to bring you these, I hope you like them dear” Agatha handed the flowers to you and you took them, Agatha saw you biting your lower lip and she smiled too, little by little she was starting to see a change, she just wanted to make you smile and wanted to be near you, and this was what she started to do.
“Thank you seriously, you didn’t have to but I´m glad you brought this to me, they are really beautiful” You said while smiling, a genuine smile, for the first time you didn’t feel like hiding and Agatha was glad that she could finally see you smile.
“ I wanted to baby girl, now I have to go back to my house to make sure everything’s in order, see you later sweetheart” Your heart melted, you really liked when she called you like that.
You laughed at the memory of that time when you had gone into town to buy some things you needed, and how weirdly it had been that Agatha had bump into you, you couldn’t help the smirk in your face that day.
“Hey sweetheart isn´t amazing that we just met again? I didn’t know you were coming to the- uh, to the grocery store, I came here for some things as well, you know things to prepare dinner”
That day you walked side by side with her, you felt really comfortable around her and that day you realized how much you had fallen for her, how couldn’t you? She was so sweet, she treated you right and she was always making you laugh and just with her presence you didn’t feel the need to hide again, you really wanted to express to her how much you loved her, how much she had captivated you.
After that day full of quick glances towards each other, shy smiles and gentle brushes against each other you realized you loved her, a lot.
Agatha brushed her hand against your hand and even you could feel her fingers touching yours, it was such an innocent move that left you yearning for more and what made you feel happier was the fact that Agatha didn’t even buy a single thing, she just helped you put things into the shopping cart at the same time she said funny things that cracked you up, she had completely forgot to actually buy things, she had done it on purpose, the fact that she had bumped into you that day on purpose made you feel happy, she just had wanted to spend some time with you, and for the first time in your life you felt loved.
But the feeling didn’t last longer, when you said your goodbyes and you came back home, all the memories of the people you had loved, your mother, your sisters of the coven, your witch-friends, they all had abandoned you, they had forgotten about you, no one ever helped you, you had to learn to stand up for yourself because no one would have ever done it for you, you learned how to stay away from everyone because deep down you knew everyone would leave you.
You really wanted to be close to Agatha, you wanted to hug her and to kiss her, but what if she in the end just leaves you like the others? You wouldn’t be able to bare another heart break, you couldn’t and you wouldn’t, but the feeling of loneliness for centuries that had never gone away, it felt like it was coming back everything at the same time, you couldn’t bare it anymore, you wanted to be loved but at the same time you were just so afraid of the many what ifs.
It had been three days since Agatha and you had gone shopping together and since that day you didn’t dare to leave you room, you couldn’t control the way you were feeling you just wanted to cry, you wanted to yell to break things, finally someone showed interest in you and you kept pushing her away, you couldn’t help it the constant fear of being thrown away didn’t leave your mind, you were not happy being alone but it was the only thing you could do in order to protect yourself, you kept saying to yourself how good you were just in your own, but deep down you knew you craved for a hug or just a simple touch of hands, you wanted to hold Agatha´s hand you wanted to tell her everything but the fear you felt didn’t let you.
Agatha was worried about you; had she crossed the limits? She couldn’t guess but she was worried, you hadn’t left your house in three days in a row, and you usually went for a quick walk, it was not that she had been spying on you, well, maybe just a little, but she wanted to know if you were ok, she worried about you a lot, and she had fallen for you, she knew you were just broken and she wanted to help you fix the broken parts of your heart, she was just waiting to be sure that you were not afraid anymore, and she had thought that the shopping day had been the right path, Agatha thought that you were finally opening yourself a little, but now after three days of not knowing anything from you she couldn’t help but to be worried sick.
So of course she became worried sick when she hadn’t heard anything from you, the first day after the shopping, she waited for you at the sidewalk, she knew on Mondays you always went for a quick walk, but after 30 minutes of waiting she realized you were not coming, it was strange, maybe you were running late but after waiting 15 minutes more she decided to go home, she would look for you later.
Agatha started to walk towards her house when she saw Dottie walking to the direction, she was coming from
“Hey Agnes, when you see your girlfriend can you say hi to her for me? I really like her but now that she’s so smitten by you, the only person she talks to is you, Agnes I must say I’m kind of jealous, you’re a lucky woman Agnes, please say hi to her for me”
Agnes was dumbfounded, she was not expecting Dottie to say that to her, but at least she was happy that someone had said to her that she could draw your attention, with that she kept walking to her house with a big smile on her face, she couldn’t wait to tell you how she felt about you.
The second day she went to look at your house again, but the feeling that something was wrong took over her, she knocked on the door and you didn’t answer that was something strange, whenever she visited you, you didn’t make her wait too much, she stayed there for over twenty minutes more and even though she wanted to enter to make sure you were alright she didn’t dare to do it, what if you were mad at her? Or what if you thought she had crossed the limits? Frowning she decided it was better to leave, maybe think about what could had gone wrong between the two of you.
She wanted to see you so bad but now you were nowhere to be seen, no one had seen you left your house, of course Agatha asked the neighbors but they told her the same, that you hadn’t gone left your house.
The third day she felt something different in the air, she could sense something was wrong and of course she could sense your magic in it, she had to go look for you, there was something wrong she was right, leaving her house in a rush she almost ran to your house, this time she didn’t knock on you door, Agatha simply used her magic to open it and when she entered a hit of dark magic almost made her step back, it was strong, your magic was really strong.
Looking around your living room she didn’t see you in there and all the lights were off, the room was eerily silent, and for the first time in her long life, she was scared, scared that something had happen to you, quickly she went upstairs and in the middle of the stairs she notice something there.
Scrunching down a little she saw some type of vines, they were completely black, she followed the vine and they ended in a room and she supposed it was your room.
She took a deep breath preparing herself to enter, she reached for the doorknob and frowned a little, Agatha opened the door in a hasty movement, she had been preparing herself to fight whoever may be hurting you, but she had not prepared herself to see what was in front of her.
Inside the room there were many vines around your body, you couldn’t move and you had tears streaming down your cheeks, she gasped, you were trapped under your own magic, you were lying in the bed but the black vines were all over your body and some of them were even hanging on the walls and the ceiling, she wanted to cry, she couldn’t believe you were doing this to yourself, taking her hand to cover her mouth and walked towards you.
Agatha crouched down on the floor near your bed and she placed her hand on your forehead.
When she touched you she could feel all the sadness and sorrow you felt, all the pain that you had been hidden through all the years, all the loneliness and fear you were feeling all the time, it was too much pain and her heart clenched, you had passed through horrible things alone, now she understood why you were so afraid, you had been abandoned by everyone in your life, she wanted to help you, she would never leave you, she would never leave you alone.
Agatha used her magic on you, purple smoke covered your head, and she could see that it was working, slowly all the black vines started to disappear and the ones that you were trapped in disappeared after some minutes of her using her magic on you.
When you opened your eyes again you saw Agatha staring at you with a concerned look on her face, you felt the soft touch of her fingers in your temple, you were shocked, you had been trapped on your own memories that you didn’t notice your magic had reacted at your feelings, the vines were protecting you from the outside.
Blinking a few times, you stood from the bed to throw yourself at Agatha, you hugged her putting your arms around her neck, Agatha caught you and she placed her arms around your waist, now the two of you were on the floor, hugging each other.
You were sobbing you couldn’t contain the tears that kept coming from your eyes, you were in pain form all the things that happened to you, but at the same time you felt happy, Agatha had saved you from yourself, she cared for you and what she had done meant the world to you, while you were trapped in your memories, you could feel Agatha´s magic, helping you, her magic was calling you to wake up, and what you felt was love.
Agatha soothed you while you cried, she gently stroked your hair and she placed a kiss on your forehead, you were hiding your face in her chest and for the first time in many centuries you finally felt the warm feeling of a hug.
When you calmed yourself a little you separated yourself from Agatha to look at her eyes, oh how beautiful her blue eyes were, without thinking twice you leant and kissed her, she captured your lips on her own, and she kissed you back, it was a soft kiss, she wanted you to feel all the love she felt for you, Agatha pulled you closer to her, she wanted to feel you, she wouldn’t never leave you.
Breaking the kiss to look straight into her eyes, you smiled you wanted to say many things to her but you were lost for words, you opened your mouth but closed it again, you didn’t know how to start and before you could say something to her, Agatha lifted your chin and gave you a soft peck on your lips again.
“Oh angel, I just felt what you feel all the time and I caught glimpses of your memory, I know what you had been through and I´m really sorry that they were afraid of you, but please let me help you, if you let me, I will make sure to always be by your side, guide you and teach you about your magic, like anyone else have done it before, let me hold you and care for you, I promise to never leave you, please let me be in your life doll” You wanted to cry again, but this time out of happiness, everything she had told you was real, you could feel it, she was offering you what you had craved for a long time, you have never felt as happy as how you were feeling, Agatha could be your home, something you had been looking for a long time, and now this was your real chance, you could have it all with Agatha.
“I want to be with you, I have fallen for you quite deep, and what I feel for you is pure, I tried to push you away because I was scared but this time, I won´t make the same mistake” You rested your head on her chest again hearing the thumping of her heart, Agatha was amazed by you, she was mesmerized, she had never felt the urge to be with someone and now she just wanted you to be with her and she wanted to hold you so much, she would never hurt you and she would make sure that you always feel loved, kissing your forehead again she stroked you back with her hand.
“I know honey, and now you won´t need to push me away anymore, I will be with you and no matter what I will always be there for you, I want to make you happy and I will make sure to always show you how much I love you, you don´t have to hide anymore”
You felt safe in her arms and you knew this was the start of something beautiful, now you didn’t feel scared, for once in your life you felt brave enough to let someone love you and you were going to love her just as deeply as you knew she loved you.
You lifted your head an Agatha saw you had a beautiful and real smile on your face, she liked seeing the real you, now you wouldn’t need to hide your feelings, not anymore, you knew your feelings and you were safe with her, and she would never do something to hurt you, how lucky you really were, she couldn’t take all the memories again, but you were sure with time all these memories wouldn’t hurt as much, and with her help one day all the memories wouldn’t hurt and affect you anymore, finally you had found your home and your place in the world, and that place was with Agatha, finally you felt at peace, you were sure Agatha will make you fix the broken pieces of your heart, Agatha would never leave you, you wouldn’t have to be alone again.

♡ Dating Thomas Hewitt Headcanons
Tumblr media
❝ I often ask myself, 'What makes a man a killer?' ❝
[ SFW + No Gendered Terms]
General Warnings: Mentions of Murder, Slight Stockholm Syndrome, Hoyt being Hoyt
A/N: Congrats to Tommy for winning the last poll for headcanons :) I love this man sm. I scour the entire internet just for fanart of his body he's so soft and aaaaa !!!
Tumblr media
🔪 Tommy is unfamiliar with romance entirely. The most he'd gotten to know of it were stories from Luda Mae during childhood but he never got to experience it himself.
🔪 And the mention of what a "man does to a woman" by Hoyt wasn't appealing to him in any way. Tommy just focused on providing for the family and ignoring what Hoyt said.
🔪Then, a new set of victims made the mistake of running into Hoyt and Tommy was to do his job. Yet, for some reason, he couldn't help but stare at you when he brought you down to the basement and rather than running, you clung to him instead to hide from Hoyt.
🔪 For once, he wanted to protect you while Hoyt yelled at him to just kill you. But, everything was different this time. Someone willingly approached him rather than screaming.
🔪 Tommy was firm in his decision, towering over Hoyt as his own silent threat to keep you around. And so he did. While he couldn't speak to you, he tried his best to care for you despite you now being a prisoner in a home of cannibals.
🔪 He'd carefully place a plate in front of you and then just sit and stare at you, waiting for a reaction or for you to eat. Telling him you don't trust the meat in the case that it's human has him confused because they taste fine to him? But since your stuff was taken from you, Luda will just buy other foods for you to eat with your money.
🔪 In truth, Tommy is just as scared of you as you are of him. He doesn't want to upset you in any way because for once, it seems like he has a friend. An attractive one too. He waits for you to be more comfortable around him.
🔪 Tommy is a light sleeper so he'd have you sleep in his room with him. If you were to try and sneak out, he'd be right there to stop you. But, it's not like you have much of a way to sneak out anyway since he is completely clung to you in his sleep without realizing it. It's as though you were his pillow or plushie to cuddle during the nighttime.
🔪 When Luda noticed the way Tommy treated you, she would whisper little things he could do to impress you or make you happy. She always wanted him to find someone, especially since Tommy had his struggles.
🔪 He gets nervous when trying to do some of what Luda suggested because it felt like he was a little boy again. A little lovesick boy. But he’s a mama’s boy and knows Luda is helping him. He'd approach you and hand a flower to you, just as she suggested, hoping that it works to make you happy.
🔪 Some days, you’ll wake up to find a little note in your dresser. It’s in poor handwriting but you can tell it’s from Tommy. He picked it up from what Luda used to do—Leave notes in his lunch each day.
🔪 The first note you got had some drawings on it. You could make out smiley faces and hearts. The only legible words on the note was “I LOVE YOU”.
🔪 Tommy is very careful around you since he's aware of his size. He tries to be like a gentle giant, although, he can default to being too gentle, treating you as though you were made of glass.
🔪 He's scared to hurt you. After all, that's the only thing Hoyt has him do. Gods forbid if he did hurt you in some way, he'd slink away into the basement to avoid being around you. He would need some coaxing to understand that you're okay.
🔪 Overall though, Tommy is an absolute sweetheart. He's very attentive and willing to do whatever to make you happy. And he's also very easy to please! He's been taught to be happy with the minimum so anything besides that immediately makes him overjoyed.
🔪 Tommy's favorite thing to do is hold hands with you. He's self-conscious over the fact that his hands are scarred and rough but he can't help but be an internal mess at the electric touch between you two.
🔪 Sometimes when he's upset with Hoyt's constant yelling and berating, he'll toss you over his shoulders like nothing and bring you outside with him so he can cool down with you.
🔪 He finds solace in you. You'll find how Tommy will just sometimes stare at you because he's admiring your appearance. He has a particular fascination with your eyes. He finds it hard to look at them directly but when you aren't looking at him, it's all he can focus on.
🔪 One thing about Tommy: As much as he can be sweet, he still is a brutish murderer. Any victims who even catch a glimpse of you are his first targets.
🔪 It can be almost unnerving how easily Tommy can switch like that. To be so gentle with you to becoming a murderous beast towards anyone else.
🔪 One quick way you’ve seen Tommy get upset is when he heard Hoyt talk explicitly about your body. Hoyt did it specifically to make you uncomfortable as that is what gets him off most.
🔪 But his grin was quickly wiped off by how Tommy turned around and stared down Hoyt. He didn’t have much restraint but decided to simply pick you up and leave to his room with you. His silent threats spoke for him.
🔪 He also has a tendency to be paranoid about you staying. He makes sure you understand that this is your home now. He is your family. You wouldn't leave him alone again, right?
🔪 Tommy isn’t that hesitant to never take off his mask but he is around you because of his insecurities. He knows what generally attractive people look like considering the victims he’s caught before and knows he doesn’t look like that.
🔪 He grows more accustomed to having his mask off when you aren’t afraid to kiss and caress his face. You couldn’t be lying about that when your touch was so sweet and gentle with him.
🔪 Tommy’s main Love Languages to give are: Acts of Service and Quality Time. He loves to receive in return Quality Time and Words of Affirmation.
🔪 Tommy likes to go out of his way to do things for you because he likes to feel useful to you. Anything he can do to help you out and he’s rushing to help.
🔪 Any errand around the house he immediately takes up so he can hear you praise him for it.
🔪 If he sees you working, he’s made it a habit to get you tea or lemonade. In the mornings, he’s used to waking up early so he’ll let you sleep in and surprise you with breakfast. Before bed, he has a whole ritual for you before going to bed.
🔪 Pulling back the covers, making sure the pillows are cold and plumped up. And once you walk in, he’s planting kisses across your face, picking you up and tucking you in while he gets in beside you and holding you close.
🔪 One of his favorites to do is when you ask him to pick something up for you if it’s too heavy. When you compliment him for being strong, he’s barely letting you pick anything up anymore because he wants to hear you praise him more.
🔪 Tommy also just generally loves to spend alone time with you. Constantly being around his family in the home can leave him feeling slightly stir crazy.
🔪 He loves to just sit under a tree, under the shade and away from the harsh sun, beside you and just enjoy your presence.
🔪 Tommy was a little hesitant at the suggestion of a spa day with face masks and other things, considering he’d have to take off his mask but seeing you in the same face mask as him in the mirror and he was silently asking each week to do it again and again.

Plz do a Husband corazon + child Law for mother's day 💐💛
Y E S omg I love Corazon, he'd be such a great husband and father. 🥺 On par or even better than Sanji imo.
I hope you don't mind that Corazon and the Reader have a biological daughter as well, I just thought it would be cute!! I also made this a modern AU one, because damn it, Corazon deserved to be happy. :'(
(Note: This is out of order from all requests simply due to the theme. I have made progress on the others!)
Tumblr media
Corazon would have a whole plan, partly put together by thirteen-year-old Law and your toddler, Evangeline. Your daughter would draw you a card, while Corazon and Law focused on making you breakfast and of course, it would go all kinds of wrong.
You wake up to hushed shouting between your husband and adoptive son, Law telling Corazon he's going to burn the bacon and to stop smoking while he cooks. Your husband retorts that it's fine, nothing bad is going to happen. He's not going to set anything on fire, unlike at Christmas. For a few minutes you lay there on your phone, listening to your family down the hall. Evangeline eventually comes into your bedroom, pulling on your blanket and calling for you to pay attention to her.
“Mommy, mommy!”
You roll over and lift her up into your bed, giving her a tight hug while she laughs and returns it. What a joy she is, that last nearly three years have been a blessing with her and Law around, you wouldn’t change it for the world. Yes, some people have given your small family odd looks—what are two twenty-six-year-olds doing with a toddler and a teenager?—but you’ve learned to tune them out and ignore them. It didn’t matter what others thought, they could assume you’d had a teen pregnancy all they wanted. It wasn’t the truth, but some wouldn’t even listen or believe you. After all, you’d tried to explain it to your coworkers when you and Corazon adopted Law just before Evangeline was born, but even those close to you didn’t understand it.
“What’ve you got there, Evie?”
“Your gift!” She beams at you and holds the card she’d made out, the biggest grin on her little face. Just as planned, it’s a card she scribbled together, you can recognize your husband’s handwriting to make the words legible, but it’s still adorable that she tried so hard to make you something. There’s a cute little drawing of your family in the card, making you smile and hug her again,
“Thank you, Evie! I—” you’re stopped by the smell of smoke before the smoke detector goes off and kick off your blanket, running down the hall with your daughter in your arms and hearing Law yell that everything is fine, though you’re at the kitchen doorway before he finishes speaking. “What is happening?!”
Law turns to you and points at Corazon, who is waving a towel over the completely burnt bacon to try and get the smoke and smell out the window. “He burned breakfast again!”
“Not like you were helping, little shi—” Corazon stops himself when you send him a glare and cover Evangeline’s ears, shaking your head at him. After the one time she said ‘bastard’, you’d been very watchful of what words were said in your house, “Look, it’s fine! We can salvage it!”
“No, we can’t! It’s burnt black!”
Corazon ignores Law’s complaints for the moment, coming over to kiss your forehead and smile at Evangeline. “Did you give mommy her card?”
“I did!”
“That’s my girl!” Evangeline giggles while Corazon turns back to kiss you as a proper good morning. “Happy Mother’s Day.”
“Thank you, beloved.”
You’re briefly interrupted by a fancy bouquet of flowers being shoved between the two of you, Law looking away shyly as he holds them there for you, his own gift for you for the day that makes you almost cry and heart ache. He’d been with you as your son for the last three years, but this was the first time he’d given you anything on this day. You’ll never truly take the place of his mother, like Corazon won’t really take his father’s place and Evangeline his sister’s, but you’re glad for the smallest bit of progress that has him viewing you all as his family, and you hope for him to continuing viewing you all in that light, even as he grows up and out of your home one day.
“…Happy Mother’s Day.”
Crouching down enough to be eye level with him, you give Law a kiss on the forehead and a smile.
“Thank you so much, Law. I love them.”

Hi, of that's, can I please have yandere Jade x reader who tries to break up with her? (Headcanon). How would Jade react and what would she do in this situation?
I am assuming you mean Jade from Honkai Star Rail. If not, I'm sorry!!
cw: yandere/possessive behavior, very questionable behavior, implied violence, possible ooc
A/N: I have yet to play any of the quests she's in (╥﹏╥). I hope I did her justice!!
Bold of you to even assume you have the option to break-up with her. No matter how you end up in a relationship with her - willing or unwilling - your fate is sealed.
Jade knows every aspect of her desires, from their depth to their origins. When she sets her mind to something, precious little can get in her way.
How she acquired you determines how she reacts to your ill-advised statement. If you are in a contract with her, she would take some time to remind you of your position - how truly nice you have it.
It'd start small, like having you organize paperwork in the pawnshop where you'd get a first hand look at Lady Bonajade's dealings. Many desires are laid bare in front of you; some are honorable, others deplorable, and both are equally pondered upon by the lavishly clad woman. It’s hard to understand the logic behind most of the dealings, yet you remembered the time you occupied their positions - the way your desires slipped past your lips to be scrutinized by Lady Bonajade.
You also get to see what happens to those who step out of line - more specifically, the bureaucratic aftermath. The written records of their punishment, outstanding debt, and next steps are so clinical regardless of the situation. It doesn't matter if they were fighting for their life or attempting to pull a fast one - there was no leeway.
There was no reason for Jade to drape you in expensive fabric and opulent jewels. There was no reason for Jade to have you by her side doing menial tasks. There was no reason for Jade to suffocate you in her cold embrace and colder favor.
There was no reason for Jade to treat you like a lover. All the contract specified in its convoluted wording was that you're hers to use as she sees fit.
If you somehow aren't apologizing for your behavior and willingly accepting whatever humiliating punishment she has in mind within a week, Lady Bonajade has no problem pushing you further.
You'd lose all of her "favor" slowly until you're nothing but another IPC grunt. You won't be in any threat of dying, but there are many things worse than death prowling the cosmos. Don't worry, it won't be anything Jade can't fix given the appropriate price.
All you need to do is apologize, and beg for her favor once again. Of course, a benevolent woman such as her would be more than willing to reevaluate your contract - though, it is in your interest to note that this is a one-time offer. If you were to repeat this mistake again, the punishment wouldn’t be so light.
If you aren't in a contract with her, that would change. This relationship wouldn’t just end because you will it. But she'll let you slip from her embrace for now.
Jade is not above dismantling every aspect of your life piece by piece until you come crawling back. You can choose how much is destroyed - your social life, finances, career prospects, or even the lives of your close ones - by walking back into that pawnshop of hers.
She doesn't ask for what you seek nor what you desire - those are irrelevant in the face of her own. No, she asks if you've come back to your senses, a pet name rolling off her lips oh-so-naturally as if she hadn't constructed your downfall.
A contract is placed in front of you, the written words melting together into an indecipherable mess. Her signature was the only legible word in the entire document, with a blank spot ready for your own.
You may gain everything you've naively wished for many years ago with a few strokes of ink - insurmountable wealth, a lavish lifestyle, and a lack of mundane worries - but gilded chains are still chains.

Bi-Han headcanons from the top layer of my brain
He's just my little guy, a little rough but he's basically harmless
Cannot cook (freestyle wise), BUT he can chop like nobody’s business and he can also be very thorough because of his perfectionist tendencies so if you give him a recipe you will have an edible meal
Not a huge inside pet person, but I think if you were to bring in a pet he wouldn’t be opposed to it, he just doesn’t see any reason to engage with the pet
You don’t go shopping together very often as most of the supplies come in bulk month by month or for dairy, weekly. He likes to accompany you when you go which is why he schedules a day off, finds visiting town useful to understand how everything is working in the area and if there are any local threats
Most meals he eats alone or with his brothers, because of a tight self-imposed schedule but once he has a partner, he makes an effort to have at least one proper meal which usually ends up being dinner, especially if they aren’t a morning person
As I’ve mentioned here, I’m not entirely sure these guys have a meticulous hair care routine but if their partner offers, Bi-han would have no problem letting them handle his hair (you have to build up to that because of this post)
If his partner is free for the day, and he is just doing paperwork or sitting somewhere, he would like to have them nearby, if you read to him or talk his ear off it makes him feel good because he has issues
Issues include not having enough quality time with family and he realizes how lonely it’s made him even if he tried to hide it so he makes up for it in subtle ways like eating with his partner or just having their presence a few feet apart
I don’t think he would like to shower together, I think showers are very standard for him to simply get clean and exit and by having another person it takes more time so…solo showers…unless…
Slow writer, he likes his writing, for official documents at least, to be legible and pristine so he takes his sweet time writing. Sektor got him a computer but he didn’t like that so they compromised on a typewriter and Bi-han built speed and now writing documents doesn’t take five million years
He has a GREAT memory, not photogenic but damn near close, however, you best hope you don’t do something offensive to him, he can forgive but he’ll never forget
His bun is too tight, and he gets headaches but refuses to change up the style because it's the only one that gets the job done (if it’s really bad you might just catch him with his hair down in his office, near the end of the day whilst he meditates or trains)
*You know that scene from Modern Family when Jay gets Gloria fluffy slippers and she becomes nice, yeah that’s Bi-han, he’s a bit more mellow and pleasant to be around when his hair is down which is…not a lot but still*
If you guys like these, should I write headcanons for someone other than Bi-Han...?

Hear me out- hear me out here-
Easily flustered reader tries to ask out Lev Haiba (and fails miserably, reader literally walked up to him and then gave up) so reader just slides a note to him and refuses to acknowledge said note the entire time because they’re afraid of rejection
Guys am I the only one that is gay for Lev
Clumsy Confession
Pairing: Lev Haiba x gn!reader
Words: 590
Warnings: none!
A/N: hi!! I'm really sorry for not appearing these past few months while having my requests opened! I will try to write everything you've requested as soon as possible🥹
Tumblr media
In the bustling halls of Fukurōdani Academy, where the sound of bouncing volleyballs echoed like a symphony, there was a figure that stood out among the crowd. Lev Haiba, with his towering height and striking presence, commanded attention wherever he went. And today, he found himself the unwitting target of a shy, easily flustered admirer.
Y/n, filled with a whirlwind of emotions, had harbored a secret crush on Lev for what felt like an eternity. They were not one for bold gestures or confident confessions, instead opting to admire him from afar, stealing glances whenever they could muster the courage.
But today was different. Today, fueled by a sudden surge of determination, y/n decided it was time to finally act on their feelings. With shaky hands and a racing heart, they approached Lev as he stood near the gymnasium doors, a small group of teammates surrounding him.
"Hey, Lev," y/n managed to squeak out, their voice barely audible above the chatter of the hallway.
Lev turned towards them, his golden eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Oh, hey there! What's up?"
Y/n felt a blush creep onto their cheeks, their nerves threatening to overwhelm them. But they pushed through, determined to see this through to the end.
"I, um, I was wondering if, uh…" They stumbled over their words, unable to form a coherent sentence in the presence of the object of their affection.
Lev tilted his head, a puzzled expression crossing his face. "Is something wrong?"
y/n's heart pounded in their chest, their palms growing clammy with anxiety. They couldn't do it. They couldn't bring themselves to confess their feelings to him face to face.
Without another word, they turned on their heel and fled, leaving Lev standing there with a bemused expression.
Confusion clouded Lev's features as he watched y/n’s retreating figure. He couldn't understand what had just happened, but one thing was for certain – they had left something behind.
Curiosity getting the better of him, Lev bent down and picked up the small slip of paper that had fallen to the ground. It was a note, hastily scrawled handwriting barely legible.
For a moment, Lev hesitated, unsure if he should read it. But curiosity won out, and he unfolded the note, his eyes scanning the words written upon it.
"Dear Lev," it read, "I've admired you from afar for so long, but I've never been able to find the courage to tell you how I feel. I know this is probably weird, but I just wanted you to know that someone out there thinks you're amazing. Even if you never feel the same way about me, I'll still be cheering you on from the sidelines."
A warmth spread through Lev's chest as he read the heartfelt words. He couldn't help but smile, touched by the sincerity of the confession.
With a newfound determination, Lev tucked the note into his pocket, vowing to find the mysterious admirer and thank them properly.
Meanwhile, y/n lurked in the shadows, their cheeks burning with embarrassment. They had done it – they had finally confessed their feelings to Lev, albeit in the most awkward way possible.
But as they watched him read the note with a smile on his face, a sense of relief washed over them. Maybe, just maybe, their clumsy confession hadn't been such a failure after all.
And as Lev looked up from the note, his eyes met theirs across the crowded hallway, a knowing smile playing at the corners of his lips.
Maybe there was hope for them yet.

She don't wanna be saved|wanda Maximoff x reader
Tumblr media
Warning:suicide, depression, overdose
Growing up, life was never easy for me. I had always struggled with depression, a dark cloud that seemed to follow me wherever I went. No matter what I did,no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't seem to shake it off. It wasn't until I met Wanda Maximoff that I truly believed I had found someone who could help me through it all.
Wanda and I met by chance, in a small coffee shop in New York City. She was sitting alone in a corner, sipping on her drink and looking lost in thought. I remember feeling drawn to her, as if we were connected somehow. I mustered up the courage to approach her and we ended up talking for hours. We had an instant connection and I knew that she was someone special.
As we got to know each other, Wanda opened up to me about her own struggles and how she found a way to overcome them. She told me about her powers and how she used them to help others as well as losing her brother, and I couldn't help but admire her strength and determination. Being with her made me feel like I could overcome anything.
From that day on, Wanda and I were inseparable. We shared everything with each other, and she showed me a world I never knew existed. It was as if Shecleard the fog in my mind. She took me to places I had only dreamed of and introduced me to people who quickly became my friends. I truly believed that I was getting better, that I was finally able to leave my depression behind.
But as they say, what goes up must come crashing down, . And when it did, it hit me harder than ever before.
Wanda was away on a mission with the Avengers, and I was left alone in our apartment. At first, I was fine. I went about my daily routine, trying my best to keep my mind occupied. But as the days went by, I felt myself slipping back into the darkness. I tried to fight it, I really did, but it was a losing battle.
I couldn't bring myself to leave the apartment or even open the curtains. The only time I left my room was to eat or go to the bathroom. I didn't want to burden Wanda with my struggles, especially when she was out there saving the world. So, I put on a façade, pretending that everything was okay.
But then, one day, I just couldn't take it anymore. I found myself sitting on the bathroom floor, crying uncontrollably. The weight of the world was crushing me, and I felt like I couldn't escape it. I reached for the bottle of pills in the medicine cabinet and without hesitation, I swallowed handful after handful until it was empty.
In that moment, before the pain, before the struggle, I felt a sense of relief. I thought I had finally found a way to end my pain. But as the darkness closed in and my vision blurred, I realized that I didn't want to die. I wanted to live, I wanted to be with Wanda and see the world through her eyes. But it was too late, the pills had taken their effect and I knew I was slipping away do despite my hesitation I made my peace. Death had been my best friend for years, he was always there giving me an opinion, giving me control, offering the freedom I craved.
As I lay on the bathroom floor, my vision fading, I managed to scrawl a note to Wanda. It was messy and barely legible, but I hoped that she would understand. I apologized for leaving her, for not being strong enough to fight my demons. I told her how much she meant to me, and how grateful I was for the time we spent together. And with my last bit of strength, I wrote that I loved her.
I don't know how much time had passed when I heard the apartment door open. I tried to lift my head to see who it was, but my body wouldn't cooperate. Until, I felt someone kneeling beside me and I heard Wanda's panicked voice calling out my name. But I wasn't looking up at her like I expected no, I was outside looking in on her pain.
When she saw me lying there, she let out a strangled cry and cradled my head in her lap. Through my still blurry vision, I could see the tears streaming down her face as she pulled me closer to her. And then she saw the note in my hand and her sobs became even more intense.
I could feel my body shutting down, though I wasn't in it, I wanted to say something, anything to comfort Wanda. In a raspy voice, I managed to tell her that I loved her and that I was sorry. Not that she could hear me. Everything went black after that.
No ones pov
Wanda never truly got over you, not when she fell in love with vision, not when she had her children. Two twins a boy named Billy and a girl she named "kamil" meaning perfect a nickname she gave you at the start of your relationship.
In the first few years, wanda would visit the gave where you were buried at least once a week. She would spend hours telling you the events in her life with such caution. She has stopped crying every time she visits now, it was getting easier yet it still ached the same as it did when she found you lying there.
You looked forward to Wanda's visits and unbeknownst to her you would sit on the other side of the headstone with your back to her listening with great interest. You were proud of her and her achievements, you just wish you were there to achieve them with her.
Over time Wanda's visits became less frequent dwindling to only important events such as your birthday or Christmas. That was until her visits stopped all together. She had officially moved on without you.
A/n:I sincerely apologise. I hurt myself writing this but I needed it so like I'm just going to leave this here.

I just love how you draw Data, that is all. He's so silly :D I have no idea how to draw his hair do you have any tips?
Thank you!!! And heck yeah I do!!! My biggest tips for drawing any character, Data or not, is to find references, analyze them, and then simplify them.
I made a little board about Data to help explain a few things, and I'll be typing up what the written parts say because I'm not sure how comprehensible my handwriting is to other people.
Tumblr media
Biggest thing to do, is to look up references. He's from a 7 season show, so it's pretty easy to find a large variety of angles no matter what angle you're actually drawing him from.
Just like how you can tell if a Data picture is from the earlier seasons or later ones by the cut of his collar, you can also tell by the shape of his hair. In the first season, his hair was more slicked back, while after that, there tends to be more volume in the front of it. Depending on what season you're going for, that could be something good to keep in mind.
As for the analyzing part, I usually skip this step because of how often I stare at Data whenever he's on screen. But here are a few of the things that I have noticed due to my staring: when looking at him from the side, you will see that bump of volume right at his hairline. It continues back very smoothly into the rounded curve at the back of his head (no indents can be seen), which trails down to the tail ends of his hair in a relatively straight path. The tail end usually is just the right length to hit the top of his collar. And this is something I noticed only recently when trying to draw a portrait straight from an image, but the bottom line of his sideburn lines up perfectly with the top line of his ear (so cool).
In order to simplify the hairstyle, I exaggerate aspects of it to better suit my style. This typically means I ignore how it actually looks, & I make the front & back bump larger than they actually are, also ignoring how his hairline looks in order to cartoonize it a bit more. As long as the basics are there, then everything should be fine!!
While I draw him differently depending on the tool/program I'm using, I tend to draw the hair bump further up on his head, and I exaggerate the size of it. And despite the fact that all the references show the back of his hair being very smooth and straight, I usually indent it or curve it out a bit more. This also includes a shorter, but larger tail end of his hair.
I have no clue how helpful this was, but I am happy to take any excuse I have to ramble about this dude!!!
((I hope my handwriting is legible because I feel like that's easier to understand than the stuff I typed up since it has pictures instead of just my description))

Jasico Bingo Challenge: love letter
A sheet of paper, folded into thirds, dotted in places with what must be water and grass stains. The handwriting is legible in some places, and shaky in others. In the margins are small doodles of birds, clouds, trees, and other miscellaneous, abstract shapes, as if the writer’s mind kept wandering.
TO: Nico di Angelo
FROM: Jason Grace
Hey, Nico. If you’re reading this, something probably happened to me. Maybe I hit my head again and lost my memories, or something, and you went through my stuff to try and find things to remind me of who I was. Maybe this fell out while we were hanging out, one day, and you saw it was addressed to you and you picked it up. Maybe I died—
However you found this, I guess, surprise! :)
First thing’s first: I’m sorry for leaving. I know I begged you to stay, and then turned around and left, and I really hope you understand - I didn’t leave because of you. I needed to find Leo, and leaving with Piper was the easiest way to do that. I had to try and get him back.
I wanted you to come with, but you were still healing and things were going really well with you and Will. I hope things still are, in fact. Wherever I am, I’m so proud of you for how far you’ve come, and how much I’m sure you continued to grow even after I left.
I really love you, man. I never got to tell you that, but you’re one of my best, closest friends. You mean so much to me. You showed me a side of the world that I never would’ve seen otherwise, and gave me a space to be myself, and I will never, ever know how I deserved that. How I deserve you.
Is that out of left field? Haha it definitely is. Sorry.
I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, Nico. I didn’t want to leave. I’m so sorry for leaving you. I’m sorry I had to go and I’m sorry it had to be me, but it couldn’t be her, Nico, it can’t be her, it can’t be. It has to be me.
It has to be.
Here, some of the words are smeared from the water marks. Lines cross through some words that have then been re-written, as if in after-thought the author realized they were too important to delete.
If you really are reading this, after the worst case scenario, I understand if you’re angry. I understand if you never want to think about me again, after what I’ve done. I’ll understand if you storm to your father’s palace and demand I be placed in the worst of the worst punishments for being so stupid.
Gods. Gods, Nico, I’m never going to get to tell you how I really feel. About all of this, about everything I’m going through, I’m never going to be able to tell you and that hurts. It hurts more than knowing I’m going to die, it hurts more than getting stabbed and poisoned. I’m going to die loving you and you won’t even know until it’s too late.
Maybe this is a stupid bad idea. Maybe I should let it die with me. Is it cruel, to tell you how I feel if I’m gone? Does this make me an awful person?
Shit. I think I’m an awful person, Nico. I’m awful and I’m selfish and I can never choose things for myself, it always has to be for the greater good, so this is it. This is as selfish as I can be. This is all I can be for you.
I want to see you on the other side. I want you to punch me for getting myself killed and hate me for being a hero and I want you to know that I didn’t want this but it needed to be me. It has to be me.
I’m still wrapping my head around it, but it has to be me, okay? So if I’m really gone when you’re reading this, okay, you have to let me stay gone. Please. If you get hurt, if you die, and it’s my fault, I could never—
Here, the letter abruptly stops. Then, it continues:
That’s all I wanted to say, anyway. That I love you. I love you in any way I can, and even if I’ve done it silently, and stupidly, from a distance, just know that it was there, the whole time. It’s still there, wherever I am. Dead, or lost, or whatever. I love you, Nico. I’m sorry.
-- Jason Grace :)

Do you have any super into detail thoughts on kyosaya? I know you've drawn a few art pieces for the ship, but I haven't seen any written think pieces about it from you.
I know there are some who don't like to use ships as a way to tie to a characters personality, so I guess I'm curious what your overall thoughts are on it and how it ties into sayaka as a whole.
"Think pieces" is a pretty neat way to put it...The primary foundation of KyoSaya to me revolves around a uniquely sapphic relationship that I hope would be expanded upon in future shows in the series.
↑ Yet, what are all these words supposed to mean? Sayaka has always done things for the sake of others. Her sense of justice elevated to the point where she views herself as a knight, someone who kneels in the face of goodness in respect of whatever is honourable to maintain it. But a knight is just another form of a pawn, just a stronger one whom everyone perceives has the ability to: 1) protect others 2) kill The Enemy.
Sayaka used to only ever have been able to interpret this in an extreme and binary vision. If she has to defend others, she has to devote herself fully to the cause. To her, the notion of self-care and self-preservation is difficult to comprehend since she feels as though she always has to be a monolith of one singular thing, of one side of things. To her, everything is like a chessboard. There is no way to play knight for both teams at once: either you prioritise yourself, or you prioritise others.
I understand that it is also a realistic depiction of how individuals like Sayaka constantly push through their own struggles alone while always uplifting others, a demonstration of unbalanced relationship dynamics. When this vision is challenged, Sayaka does not know where and how else she is expected to just "move forward" when she realised reality is not a simple game of chess. So she shrinks her view of the world further by clashing with Kyoko, since Kyoko is The Enemy who obstructs Sayaka's own perception of all that is Good and Just. Sayaka knew she was manipulated by Cubey™, but it was not only in the later movies that she comprehended the full extent of it. Something like that feels too complicated in her mind, so it's easier, much less burdensome to just lock onto one person to be angry with. This mentality is almost a sort of fallacy for Sayaka given she becomes a Witch in every cycle she becomes a magical girl.
Sayaka wants to feel relied on by humans. Kyoko does not desire nor expect anything from people, and thus balances out the extremes of Sayaka by being detached from worldly expectations - at least, that is what's consistent with Kyoko's perception of herself. A puppet without strings. She is not a pawn, not a knight. That's why she was angry when she realised the wish-granting alien omitted information on magical girl mechanisms and their life cycles. Instead of shovelling forward headstrong like Sayaka, however, Kyoko reconsiders her childhood memories and her desire, and it was to die with Sayaka so that Sayaka would not have, in Kyoko's eyes, perished for the sake of The Greater Good, because Kyoko believes still in the Self, not the vague promise of a better future.
Uhm. It's probably nonsense now that I put it in legible words. Some other KyoSaya fans who are big brained enough should educate me more on their dynamic, but I find their relationship to be interesting. It's very fallen angel x demon coded. I feel...as though Sayaka and Kyoko are hard to separate given they exist as characters that neutralise and support each other. Perhaps not codependent, but Sayaka was unhinged enough for Homura to not threaten her once, but twice whenever Madoka's feelings are involved. Meanwhile Homura was more...tolerant of Kyoko. Kyoko is there to keep Sayaka in check to make sure she doesn't piss off the Devil to the next century, and to me that is also funny.
[Although, it is tragic that since Sayaka embodies the sea, the only way Kyoko can only be with her "in death" due to the theme of Ophelia, her lover and the flame of the witch. Who could have predicted the doomed yuri is doomed. A sinking ship, even.]

Devil town: Agatha Harkness/Agnes x Fem!reader
Masterlist
Summary: You are the “daughter” of Wanda and Vision and you’re living with them in Westview, problems start to overwhelm you but Agnes is there for you all the time and you fall in love with her.
This is a romantic!Agatha Harkness x fem!reader and Mom!Wanda Maximoff x fem!reader
Based on the song: Devil town by Cavetown
Words: 3k+
Warnings: Family issues, angst, mentions of mind control.
Author’s note: Hello again.

Life’s alright in devil town
Yeah, right, no one’s gonna catch us now
When Wanda had driven the two of you to a quiet town called Eastview you didn´t understand at the time why, but you didn’t complain either, she was like a mother to you and when she had disappeared during the snap you were devastated, leaving you with just Natasha by your side and Pepper, you loved them too but it was somehow different, they were just as broken as you, and you could not really blame them, after everything the two of them were suffering just as much as you.
After Wanda came back from the snap, when she came back from dust, you were happy, completely happy, she hugged you and you hugged her back, you couldn’t contain the happy tears streaming down your face but even though she told you that everything was going to be alright now that she was back, you never thought she would create a whole town with many people trapped in there.
When Eastview changed to Westview as well as all the people living there, Wanda and you changed too, you were shocked, you couldn’t understand how she was doing all of that, you could not comprehend the great power she possessed.
When she gave you your new personality, she had made sure that your real personality remained the same, you were conscious all the time, but fragments of new memories that she had put into your mind sometimes were too much to handle. She had chosen your role as her daughter, she even put inside your mind memories of a lot of shared meals, happy family dinners with Vision as your father, and a lot of new memories that felt so real.
At the start everything was fine you felt happy that you finally had a family even if they were not real but you enjoyed it, having a home and your own room felt so nice, you had nice dinners together, just the three of you, life was really right in the town, everything was right, or at least that’s what Wanda made you feel and made you think but from time to time you couldn’t help but feel that anytime the government would try to enter to Westview, you knew they were not too keen on Wanda but your “mom” always reassured you that no one would come for her or for you, she told you that no one would ever find you.
Dad has bought a new car now
We’re fine, no one’s gonna catch us now
Agnes was a really sweet person, you liked her a lot she was always visiting you without announcement but you really didn’t mind, she would always check on you, when you first met her, was at the talent show, you were sitting in a chair right in the middle of the tiny garden where all the tables had been placed in a row, you were waiting for you “parents” to perform on stage when Agnes arrived, she had asked you if the place next to you was taken and of course you said no, you were laughing the entire time at her jokes she was a touchy person but you didn’t mind on the contrary you loved it, she was so carefree and you enjoyed her company the entire time you were there at the talent show, you wondered if that was her real personality, everyone else apart from you seemed to be under Wanda´s mind control, you didn’t like that they were under her mind control, but you never dare to say something about that to her, you knew how bad she could react so you better decided not to talk.
You were fine, everything was alright, your “parents” started to buy things for the baby and you even helped them to decorate the room, one day Agnes offered you to go with you and Wanda to buy new-born clothes, you had a great day with the two of them, Agnes linked her arm with yours all the time, from walking down the street to entering the clothing store, everyone was so kind towards you and you loved it.
The more time you passed with Agnes the more smitten you were by her, her dark-brown hair was so pretty and her blue eyes matched every outfit she worn, she was a really beautiful woman.
After not just one baby, but two arrived, and everything changed, at the start everything was fine, the babies were so sweet and even they grew up really quickly you loved them as your brothers, they called you their big sister, but your mom started to ignore you, you perfectly knew you were not her real daughter but you felt like that, at least she made you feel like that, always, and she even gave you fake memories! And now that she was not being the same with you, your personality started to change and the only one who seemed to notice this was Agnes, you were not sure how but you were grateful with her.
Agnes even started to invite you more to her house and you gladly accepted all her invitations, she could sense your mood, whenever you felt sad, she always offered you a hug and made tea for you.
Agnes and you started to hang out more and sometimes you even cooked together, from cookies to more complex meals, you felt happy with her, genuinely happy, and just for Agnes you hoped no one else could entered Westview, if having an entire town trapped under Wanda´s mind control would be necessary to be with Agnes you could ignore it a little, you really wished that no one would go after Wanda nor you.
You said something dumb again
She’s mad, at least that’s what they say
Things got worse when Wanda and Vision started to yell at each other, their fights happened constantly and you felt afraid, everything had been going great and now everything seemed to be falling apart, but why? Wanda was angry now that Vision seemed more awake and now he had his own thoughts, he wanted to know the truth but Wanda didn’t want him to know it.
“You´re saying nonsense Vis, there´s nothing outside Westview!” You saw Wanda levitating in the air
“I don’t believe you, somethings wrong here!” You heard Vision yelling back at her.
Trying to ignore them you went back to your room and when you passed by Tommy and Billy´s room you heard them whispering so you entered to look at them
“Hey what´s going on?” You asked them trying to give them a reassuring smile
“Mom´s mad because Dad said weird things, she´s angry y/n” Said Billy and you knelt in front of them to give them a hug
Mum and daddy aren’t in love
That’s fine, I’ll settle for two birthdays
“Do you think they don’t love each other anymore y/n?” You were shocked when you heard Tommy´s words
“No, no, that´s no, no c´mon they love each other deeply, they´re just having some misunderstandings, you do not have to worry, alright?” You rushed to say to him, you couldn’t believe it.
Devil town is colder in the summertime
I’ll lose my mind at least another thousand times
It was summer the sun was high in the sky and still you felt cold, how was it possible, you were supposed to feel warm on the inside no this time, but you couldn’t help it, the feeling that something would go wrong at any moment kept you awake at nights.
Sometimes you even try to separate the fake memories that Wanda had put inside your mind, but no matter how hard you try they were stuck inside your head.
When everything was too much Agnes was always there for you, you were amazed how could she always called you whenever you felt this way? She always knew when you were having a rough time and she was the only person in this town who could help you, she was the only reason why you were still sane, Agnes was the only reason you could focus on what was real and not just the memories of a happy family that didn’t exist.
Hold my hand tight, we’ll make it another night
I still get a little scared of something new
One day Wanda, Vision and the twins had left because they had gone to buy some things, and you were just hiding in your room, you were crying and you didn’t notice that someone else entered the house.
You heard gently knocks on your door and quickly you wiped your tears, afraid that it could be Wanda or the boys, you didn’t know they had already arrived, with a quietly “Come in” you heard the door being opened and when you felt a hand on your shoulder you noticed it was no one from your “family”.
Turning yourself around you saw it was Agnes and you felt happiness, she was always looking out for you so in a quickly move you threw yourself at her, you hugged her and she hugged you back, placing her arms around your waist she squeezed you and once again you started to cry, Agnes let you cry on her shoulder while kissing your forehead and stroking your hair, she was worried for you, you were not happy, you were suffering and she knew that.
You removed yourself from her body a little to look at her eyes and you felt your heart getting warm when she touched your face so gently as if she was afraid that you could break, you loved her, you have been in love with her all this time, she was the only thing that made you happy you couldn’t hold back your emotions anymore and impulsively you kissed her, you smashed your lips against her, you took her by surprise but when she reacted she kissed you back, she pressed you closer to her and you reached for her collar shirt in a way to feel her closer to you, but when she tasted tears in the kiss she opened her eyes and broke the kiss to look at you, you were crying and this time you hid your face in her chest, she knew that you still thought that she was under Wanda’s mind control so Agnes decided to tell you the truth.
But I feel a little safer when I’m with you
Falling doesn’t feel so bad when I know you’ve fallen this way too
“Y/n I have to be honest with you, but you need to promise me that after that, nothing will change between us” Said Agnes grabbing your hands into hers, she was almost pleading you and you knew you could trust her, no matter what you were going to be with her.
“I promise, I do not want to be away from you” After you said that Agnes this time left a soft kiss on your lips and even though she wanted to keep kissing you she had to tell you the truth
“Listen carefully, I have been aware the entire time, my name’s not Agnes, my real name is Agatha, Agatha Harkness and just like Wanda I’m a witch too” You gasped and you were shocked, yes she may have lied to you but at least all of her actions have been real, so what she felt for you was real.
Agnes, well Agatha looked at you carefully and slowly she brought her hand to caress your cheek it was her gentle touch what you needed the most.
“I’m really happy that you were aware all this time, I love you and I was afraid that you were just looking out for me because that was the role my mum- I mean Wanda had given to you” Suddenly you felt sad again you really loved Wanda, she was part of your family but, now you were not so sure if what she was doing was right
“It’s alright angel, I will be here for you, no matter what, I care for you, deeply and if something goes wrong, I will keep you safe, I won’t let anything happen to you, alright?”
Nodding you hugged her again, you felt safe in her arms, you trusted in her, she was real and she was the only thing that kept you away from falling, she understood you and you were happy that she had told you everything, you didn’t want anything to happen to her either, but you were sure she knew how to keep things under control, now the days wouldn’t look so dark with her.
We’re all dead in devil town
That’s fine, ‘cause nothing’s gonna scare us now
Days kept passing and the pain in the eyes of the people in Westview was more visible day after day, they were like puppets acting and moving just like Wanda pleased, she controlled every little thing in the town, and now after you saw what her powers could do, you became afraid of her, something you never thought you could feel.
But Agatha was there for you all the time no matter what she reassured you that you had nothing to be scared of.
I forgot my name again
I think that’s something worth remembering
Wanda noticed that something had changed in you, she couldn’t put her finger on what it was, but she was going to make sure you didn’t plan on leaving Westview like Vision, so she tried to use her magic to make you believe that everything was fine and that you had a happier and bubbly personality, you fought of course you did, but her magic sometimes was too strong that in the worst moments you got lost on what was real and what wasn’t.
Agatha helped you in those moments, and she even used her magic to help you release the pain and the sadness that took over you, Agatha would help you to get better, with gentle kisses on your lips, a soft brush of her hand against you hair, or even just a reassuring hug she could always help you to get back to reality, you loved her so much and she loved you the same.
“It’s ok doll, this will pass, and when this ends you and I will be still together, I will keep you safe and I won’t let you fall” She would always knew what to tell you to make you feel better, she was the only one who could keep you sane, Agatha knew you were suffering and even if she wanted to get you out of Westview she knew she couldn’t risk your safety.
Spiders in your favourite shoes
Just leave them be 'cause they’re more scared of you
You still remembered that time when a resident of Westview came looking for Wanda, he was angry and he yelled at you to call for Wanda, you were not sure how he had woken up from the mind control, but he was clearly in pain, you wanted to do something to help him but you didn’t know what to do , Agatha quickly came to your side because she had sensed your scared state and she had rushed to look for you, she pulled you against her body with her hand on your waist, she stepped in front of you in a protective way, there was no chance that she would let them do something to you, it was not your fault.
“It´s ok he´s just scared, he does not know what to do” You reassured her and she hold your hand, she wanted to make sure you knew she will be always there for you.
When Wanda heard the disruption she quickly got out of the house and she put her fingers on his temple and just as fast as that he was back under her mind control, you didn’t want to see it anymore, and Agatha sensing your fear, she pressed you against her body kissing your temple, Wanda looked curiously at the two of you but she felt happy that you finally had someone else to count on to and Wanda was happy to know that Agnes would always help you if she was not there for you, Wanda loved you no matter what but lately you were no sure at all, why would she held you captive with the others if she loved you too?
Devil town is colder in the summertime
I’ll lose my mind at least another thousand times
On Halloween night you and Agatha decided to wear matching costumes, Wanda took the kids for trick or treat while you didn’t know where Vision was, you really didn’t want to hang with Wanda and instead of her Agatha asked you to pass the night with her, you had wanted to go see the limits but Agatha didn’t want you to go, you pleaded her, she couldn’t say no to you, she grabbed your hand and intertwined her fingers with yours.
Walking to Ellis avenue you noticed all the glitches in the people there, the farther you walked away from the center of Westview the darker it got, people in the limits were frozen, some of them even had fresh tears on their faces.
“Agatha this is so wrong, I want to leave, but I know Wanda will notice” You cried on her shoulder
“Look at me doll” Agatha took you by your shoulders and she wiped away the tears streaming down your face
“We will leave, tonight, I made sure Vision would come to the limits, he will try to leave, Wanda will be making sure that he doesn’t leave, we can use that time to scape, I need you to trust in me, alright?” Agatha lifted your chin to kiss your lips, it was a soft kiss you could feel the love she had for you.
“I trust you, and I love you Agatha” She felt her heart getting warmer, she would always make sure you were fine.
“I love you too sweetheart, I won´t let Wanda get to you, she would never hurt you again, alright?”
With her statement you knew you were safe with her
Hold my hand tight, we’ll make it another night
I still get a little scared of something new
She was right, Vision had tried to leave Westview but that had just made Wanda angrier, you took a glimpse of what was outside Westview, there were soldiers and you were sure they were looking for Wanda
“We won´t make it Agatha, there are hundreds of soldiers outside, we will never leave” You started to feel anxious but Agatha hold your hand tight, just with that simple yet loving action she was able to help you calm down
“We will make it my love, I told you I will make sure nothing happens to you, the soldiers will be distracted by Vision, even if they notice us leaving the town, I won´t let anything happen to you, I promise” Agatha gave a squeeze to your hand and you sighed, she was right, now you felt better.
But I feel a little safer when I’m with you
Falling doesn’t feel so bad when I know you’ve fallen this way too
Agatha wrapped her arm around your waist she had a firm but at the same time gentle grip on you, you were a little scare but her presence made you believe that everything would be fine.
When she saw Vision getting out of the magical field she took this opportunity to start walking towards the field to, when you were close to it, Agatha pressed her free hand to your temple and when you passed through the field with her, you felt a tingly sensation and a slight pressure over your body but when the feeling went away you opened your eyes again and Agatha was looking at you with a concerned look on her face, you caught a glimpse of your surroundings and you saw you were in a forest, it was dark but with her you felt safe.
“We made it sweetheart, but we have to hurry now, we don´t know what Wanda is going to do, she will do everything in her power to get Vision back and It won´t take much time when she notices that you´re gone too as well as me” Agatha gave you a soft peck on your lips and took your hand
“Let´s go, you´re free and I won let anything or anyone get to you”
Both of you started to run towards the thick forest being careful not to be seeing by the soldiers You felt loved and finally you had someone who you could call home, you were ready to start a new life with her and you were sure Wanda would feel betrayed and hurt and one day she would look for you and Agatha and even though you were scared of what she could do, you didn’t mind at all, you were safe with Agatha and she would never let anything happen to you.
You made it in time just when the field expanded, but by the time that happened you were so far away that it didn’t get to you, You felt more calm and at peace finally, you would miss Wanda and the kids, even Vision, but Wanda was hurting you, maybe it was not on purpose but she was hurting you.
You looked at Agatha and smiled at her “Thank you, oh god, we´re free, thank you so much” You pressed yourself against her and hugged her, now you could finally relax.
Agatha wrapped her arms around you and with her free hand she stroked your hair, she was sure Wanda would go after her one day, for taking you away, but that would take a long time from now on, and if she wanted to take you away from her Agatha wouldn’t let her, she was going to protect you at all costs, for now she just wanted to share her life with you, and you couldn’t wait to start a new chapter in your life with Agatha, you could worry about Wanda later, for now you just wanted her to hold you.

Suddenly thinking of Vox in the immediate aftermath of Alastor torturing him. The first few weeks after the Vees recovered him.
I think he was probably more or less catatonic and unresponsive and when he wasn’t he was incoherent and terrified.
Before they realized something was still terribly wrong again they both both so relieved when they finally got an understandable sentence out of him.
It took weeks just to repair his body. Weeks of Valentino and Velvette waiting for him to wake up. Weeks of single-mindedly trying to locate Alastor whenever they weren't stuck in the repair room, monitoring their employees to make sure none of them made even the smallest mistake. They thought (they hoped) that Alastor had simply made a mistake, not noticing that Vox wasn't dead yet when he ended the broadcast, but as time ticks by, thoughts creep in, unbidden– why didn't he finish him off? They try to ignore that question. Vox's body is nearly fixed and once he's back online they'll all have a good laugh about how arrogant Alastor was to think he could slay The Media Demon. Video killed the radio star, not the other way around.
Eager, anxious tension hangs in the air when the day finally comes to turn Vox back on. He's alive, he's fully repaired, everything's fine. It's going to be fine. The head engineer pushes the button and the VoxTek logo blooms across his face, blue and red and just as it should be. And then, suddenly, it flickers. Vox's face appears on his screen, but the display is black and white. He doesn't respond, doesn’t move, even as Val tries nervously to greet him. The repair team exchange concerned looks (Why isn't he reacting? All his diagnostics came back fine). And then Vox opens his mouth. And pure, ear-splitting, static-filled noise comes blasting out his speakers at maximum volume.
For the next month, Vox cannot speak. All that's coming out of him is static and incomprehensibly distorted clips from a hundred different broadcasts. He doesn't seem like he can see or hear either. The repair team try to fix him, assuming they must have missed something, but they can't find anything wrong with him. Val and Velvette are at a loss. Val can't stand to remain in the tower any longer and goes out to hunt for Alastor personally, leaving Velvette to try to manage the whole situation by herself. Valentino never finds Alastor.
Eventually, the noise coming out of Vox starts improving– they can at least make out what the clips he's playing say. There's no rhyme or reason to them though. He's not trying to communicate (or at least, they don't think he is), it's just randomly spliced-together gibberish. He seems like he's regaining his sensory capabilities though, since he’s actually reacting to stimuli again, even if the reactions are erratic and obviously fearful. It's an improvement, but the Vees are starting to worry that something might be truly, genuinely wrong.
At last, the day comes when Vox can speak with his own voice. What comes out is pure nonsense— unrelated words with no grammatical structure or pauses for "breath." It's scary to hear, but Val and Vel push those feelings down. He's recovering. He’s been slowly getting better every day for the past few months. It might take a while, but soon he'll be back to normal.
Vox eventually starts speaking in actual sentences again. They're rambly and frantic and don't make much sense, but at least they're legible as sentences. He can see and hear and walk again, even if he doesn't seem to recognize anyone or know where he is. It's painful to see him like this, but Valentino and Velvette wait patiently for the next step in his recovery.
It never comes.

Shelyn was your average girl living a somewhat normal life or at least she was until the day her whole life changed. One evening, while Shelyn was browsing through her favorite manga at a local bookstore, she noticed an old, leather-bound book on a dusty, forgotten shelf in the corner. The book had no title on the cover, just an intricate design that seemed to shimmer in the dim light. Intrigued, she opened the book and discovered that it was written in a language she couldn't understand. As she flipped through the pages, she found a single page that was legible, containing an ancient incantation. Curious and a bit adventurous, Shelyn decided to read the incantation aloud.
As she spoke the final words, the air around her began to shimmer and warp. A bright light enveloped her, and she felt a strange, pulling sensation as if she were being drawn into the book itself. Moments later, she found herself in a dense, dark forest, with the moon shining brightly overhead. She could hear distant sounds of rustling leaves and faint whispers carried by the wind. Shelyn realized that she was no longer in her world.
A month has passed since being transported here and a lot has happened, for starters, she met the love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji who took her in and Shelyn became her Tsugoku.Their meeting was a turning point in Shelyn's life as a demon slayer. Mitsuri's warm and compassionate nature immediately put Shelyn at ease. One evening, after a particularly grueling training session, Shelyn found herself sitting by a river, lost in thought. Mitsuri approached her, sensing the young girl's weariness and uncertainty.
"Are you alright, Shelyn?" Mitsuri asked, her voice full of concern.
Shelyn looked up and smiled weakly. "I'm just trying to figure out my place here. It's all so overwhelming."
Mitsuri sat down beside her, her presence radiating a comforting warmth. "I felt the same way when I first started. It's not easy, but remember that you're not alone. We all have our strengths and weaknesses."
Shelyn looked at her and smiled “You’re right. Thank you.”
Mitsuri smiled and wrapped her arms around her. Pulling her into a hug. ”I’m going to the Butterfly Mansion tomorrow. Why don’t you come with me? It’ll be fun.”
Sheyln nodded “I’d love to.”
The following day Shelyn was traveling with Mitsuri to the Butterfly Mansion. As they entered the premises she came across 3 males. She recognized them almost immediately.  It was Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira. She bit the inside of her cheek at the site of Inosuke. She wasn’t particularly a fan of him. She thought he was obnoxious. Mitsuri led Shelyn over and introduced her to the 3. From the moment they met, it was clear that Shelyn and Inosuke were like oil and water. Inosuke, with his wild demeanor and penchant for shouting, immediately grated on Shelyn's nerves. His abrasive personality and constant need to assert dominance clashed sharply with Shelyn's more composed and thoughtful nature.
It was that night, they were all gathered around a campfire, Inosuke, as usual, was loudly bragging about his latest demon-slaying exploits. Shelyn, trying to maintain her patience, finally snapped when Inosuke started demanding that she prove her worth by fighting him.
"Why do you have to be so loud all the time?" Shelyn retorted, her frustration boiling over. "Not everything needs to be a competition!"
Inosuke, taken aback by her outburst, responded with his typical bluster. "If you can't handle my strength, then you're just weak!"
Shelyn stood up clenching her first “You’re not strong, you’re just obnoxious!” Inosuke was about to respond but Shelyn walked off before he could. Mitsuri followed her. Inosuke stormed off in the opposite direction.
A week had passed since Shelyn's first tumultuous encounter with Inosuke, and she had spent her days training hard and learning under Mitsuri's guidance. When her crow informed her of a mission at the Entertainment District, Shelyn felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. She knew this mission could be crucial, and she was determined to prove herself.
As she made her way to the bustling streets of the Entertainment District, Shelyn kept her senses sharp, scouting the area for anything unusual. She soon struck up a conversation with a sweet older lady who seemed to know a lot about the local happenings.
"Have you seen anything strange lately?" Shelyn asked, her voice gentle and polite.
The lady began to speak when a familiar, irritating noise interrupted them. Shelyn's eyes widened, and she couldn't help but think, "What is he doing here??"
She gave the older lady a soft smile and thanked her for her time before heading toward the commotion. As she approached, she saw Inosuke, predictably loud and aggressive, yelling at a man who was cowering on the ground.
Rolling her eyes, Shelyn walked over and pulled Inosuke away from the frightened man. "What the hell are you doing here??" she demanded once they were alone.
Inosuke glared at her, his wild eyes flashing with irritation. "I'm here on a mission, obviously! What are you doing here, princess?"
Shelyn crossed her arms, trying to keep her frustration in check. "Same as you, I guess. But do you have to terrorize the locals to get information? You're scaring them!"
Inosuke huffed, his posture defiant. "It's faster this way! They tell you everything when they're scared."
"Or they tell you nothing useful because they're too terrified to think straight," Shelyn shot back. "We need to be smart about this."
Inosuke seemed to consider her words for a moment before grudgingly nodding. "Fine. But if we don't find anything soon, I'm doing it my way."
Shelyn sighed, knowing this was the best compromise she could get from him. "Alright. Let's try it my way first..and don’t call me princess!!”
By the time Shelyn and Inosuke finished their investigation, the sky had turned dark, and the bustling energy of the Entertainment District had given way to a quieter, more subdued atmosphere. It took a lot out of her, being around Inosuke for so long. They decided to find a place to rest for the night and located a nearby motel. After securing two rooms, which were conveniently located next to each other, Shelyn turned to Inosuke.
"Goodnight, Inosuke," she said, her voice softer than usual after the day's exhausting events.
Inosuke grunted in response, which Shelyn took as his version of a goodnight. She smiled faintly, appreciating the small progress they had made in working together. Shelyn then entered her room, closing the door behind her with a sigh of relief. The room was simple but comfortable, a welcome respite from the chaos of the day.
She removed her gear, washed up, and changed into more comfortable clothing. Sitting on the edge of the bed, Shelyn couldn't help but reflect on their investigation. The information they had gathered pointed to something sinister lurking in the district, and she knew tomorrow would bring its own set of challenges.
As she lay down, she heard a muffled thump from the room next door, followed by Inosuke's characteristic muttering. She chuckled softly, imagining him wrestling with the unfamiliar concept of a bed. Despite his rough edges, there was something almost endearing about his straightforwardness and raw determination.
Just as she was about to drift off to sleep, she heard a knock at her door. Frowning, Shelyn got up and opened it to find Inosuke standing there, looking somewhat perplexed.
"What is it, Inosuke?" she asked, keeping her voice low so as not to disturb other guests.
"I can't sleep," he admitted grudgingly, his eyes darting around the hallway. "This place is too... quiet."
Shelyn raised an eyebrow, surprised by his admission. "Do you want to come in and talk for a bit?"
Inosuke hesitated but then nodded. Shelyn stepped aside, allowing him to enter. He looked around her room, clearly uncomfortable in the confined, peaceful space. Shelyn sat back down on the bed and motioned for him to take the chair by the small table.
"Why can't you sleep?" she asked gently.
Inosuke scowled, crossing his arms. "Too used to the wild, I guess. Can't relax."
Shelyn nodded in understanding. "I get that. It's hard to adjust sometimes. But you need rest. Tomorrow is going to be tough."
Inosuke nodded and got up to leave, Shelyn hesitated, sensing his unease about sleeping alone in the unfamiliar environment. She knew he was more comfortable in the wild, and she also felt a growing sense of responsibility towards him, despite his rough demeanor.
"Inosuke," she called out softly, just as he reached the door.
He turned to face her, his eyebrows raised in curiosity. "What?"
Shelyn took a deep breath, then spoke with genuine concern. "If you can't sleep in your room, maybe you'd feel more comfortable staying here? We can set up a space for you on the floor. That way, you won't feel so out of place."
Inosuke's eyes widened slightly in surprise. "You want me to stay here?" he asked, his tone a mix of skepticism and confusion.
Shelyn nodded. "Yeah, I think it might help you relax. And honestly, I could use the company too. It's been a long day."
For a moment, Inosuke seemed to struggle with the idea, his pride and his need for companionship at odds. Finally, he nodded, albeit reluctantly. "Alright, but I'm sleeping on the floor. I don't need a bed."
Shelyn nodded. "Deal. Let me grab some extra blankets and a pillow."
She quickly set up a makeshift bed on the floor, arranging the blankets and pillow to make it as comfortable as possible. Inosuke watched her silently, still looking a bit out of his element but also somewhat appreciative.
"Here you go," she said, stepping back to let him inspect the setup.
Inosuke grunted his approval and lay down, testing the arrangement. After a moment, he seemed to settle, his tension easing slightly. "Thanks," he muttered, almost grudgingly.
Shelyn shut the lights off “This was gonna be a long mission” she thought to herself. before drifting off to sleep. As the days turned into weeks, Shelyn and Inosuke continued their mission in the Entertainment District. Their initial clashes slowly gave way to a surprising but deepening connection. Despite their differences, they found themselves growing closer, each discovering new layers to the other.
That didn't stop their constant bickering though. It was driving the other guests in the motel crazy. Even some of the people in the district found you two annoying. Some of them are afraid to talk to Shelyn due to Inosuke. There was one particular incident.
As Shelyn and Inosuke continued their mission in the Entertainment District, tensions occasionally simmered beneath the surface, especially when Inosuke noticed Shelyn interacting with other males in the area. Despite her polite and professional demeanor, Inosuke couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy whenever he saw her speaking with someone else.
One evening, as they were gathering information from locals in a crowded market square, Shelyn struck up a conversation with a young merchant who seemed knowledgeable about recent disturbances in the district. Inosuke, who had been keeping watch nearby, noticed the merchant's lingering gaze and the way Shelyn smiled warmly in response to his comments.
Feeling a surge of possessiveness, Inosuke stormed over, his usual bluntness amplified by his jealousy. "What are you doing, talking to this guy?" he growled, his voice low but intense.
Shelyn, taken aback by his sudden outburst, tried to diffuse the situation calmly. "Inosuke, we're gathering information. He has useful insights."
Inosuke scoffed, shooting a death glare at the merchant who quickly excused himself, sensing the tension. "You don't need to talk to anyone else. I can handle this."
Shelyn sighed inwardly, recognizing the jealousy behind his words but also frustrated by his possessive behavior. "Inosuke, we're a team. We need to gather as much information as possible."
Inosuke grumbled something unintelligible under his breath but backed off, crossing his arms and casting menacing glares at anyone who dared to approach Shelyn for the rest of the evening. His jealousy was palpable, and despite his attempts to play it off, his protectiveness over Shelyn was clear. She didn't bother trying to talk to anyone else.
They were away from home for almost a month. On this particular night, they were walking around. There were still no signs of the demon. Shelyn pushed her hair back as they walked. She let out a soft sigh. “We’ve been at this for almost a month and we still have no leads! I’m beginning to think the demon isn’t here.”
Inosuke was about to respond when all of the sudden they heard screams coming from up ahead. They both took off running towards that direction. They pushed past the terrfied crowd of people and that’s when they finally came eye to eye with the demon they have been searching for. The air thick with the malevolent presence of the Upper Rank Six demons, Daki and Gyutaro. The streets were filled with the sounds of clashing swords, demonic laughter, and the desperate cries of the innocent caught in the crossfire. Shelyn and Inosuke fought alongside.
Shelyn found herself seperated from Inosuke on a rooftop, engaged in a fierce battle with Gyutaro. His grotesque form moved with a terrifying speed and precision, his poisoned sickles slicing through the air with deadly intent. Shelyn dodged and parried as best she could, her breath coming in ragged gasps. She could see the malevolent glee in Gyutaro’s eyes as he pressed his advantage, his taunts ringing in her ears.
“You think you can defeat me, little girl?” Gyutaro sneered, his voice dripping with disdain. “You’re nothing!”
Gritting her teeth, Shelyn focused on his movements, waiting for an opening. She was determined to prove him wrong, to show that she was a force to be reckoned with. Just as she was about to launch a counterattack, she caught a glimpse of Gyutaro’s sickle arcing towards her from a blind spot.
Time seemed to slow as she realized she wouldn’t be able to dodge in time. She braced herself for the impact, but instead, she felt a sudden, forceful tug as Inosuke came out of nowhere, grabbing her by the waist and tackling her off the roof. Shelyn instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, holding on tightly as they plummeted towards the ground.
“I had that, Inosuke!” she yelled, her voice a mix of frustration and relief.
Inosuke grinned, his wild eyes flashing with excitement. “Yeah, right! I just saved your life, princess!”
They landed with a thud, Inosuke absorbing most of the impact. He quickly rolled them to their feet, setting Shelyn down and drawing his swords in one fluid motion. Shelyn, still catching her breath, adjusted her grip on her own weapon and nodded in thanks, even if she didn’t want to admit it.
Gyutaro leapt down from the roof, his sickles spinning menacingly. “Two against one? How unfair!” he cackled, clearly relishing the challenge.
Inosuke growled, stepping protectively in front of Shelyn. “Bring it on, you ugly freak! We’ll take you down together!”
Shelyn and Inosuke launched their assault on Gyutaro. Their movements were synchronized, each attack flowing seamlessly into the next. Shelyn’s precise strikes complemented Inosuke’s raw, feral power, creating a devastating combination that began to wear down the demon.
As they fought, Shelyn noticed Daki attacking two other demon slayers, her eyes widen. It was Tanjiro and Zenitsu, they must’ve wondered by Inosuke hadn’t returned home yet. The two battles raged on, the Demon Slayers pushing themselves beyond their limits to protect the people of the district. Shelyn and Inosuke’s bond grew stronger with each passing moment, their trust in each other unwavering.
At a crucial moment, Gyutaro aimed a particularly vicious strike at Shelyn. Shelyn dodged, but her movements were slowed by fatigue. Inosuke, seeing the danger, intercepted the attack, his swords clashing against Gyutaro’s sickles with a resounding crash.
“Focus, Shelyn! We’ve got this!” Inosuke shouted, his voice filled with fierce determination.
Shelyn nodded, her eyes blazing with resolve. “Right! Let’s finish this!”
With a final, coordinated effort, they unleashed their most powerful techniques. Shelyn’s blade flashed with precision, cutting through Gyutaro’s defenses, while Inosuke’s swords delivered the finishing blow, severing the demon’s head in a single, brutal strike.
As Gyutaro’s body crumbled to the ground, Shelyn and Inosuke stood side by side, their breathing heavy but victorious. In the distance, they saw Tanjiro and Zenitsu finishing off Daki, the combined efforts of the Demon Slayers bringing an end to the nightmare in the Entertainment District.
Shelyn looked at Inosuke, her eyes filled with gratitude and something deeper. “Thanks, Inosuke. I couldn’t have done it without you.”
Inosuke grinned, his wild expression softening slightly. “We’re a team, Shelyn. Now let’s go help the others.”
As Shelyn and Inosuke made their way back to the motel room after a particularly grueling battle, exhaustion weighed heavily on both of them. Shelyn, always meticulous about cleanliness, took her time to freshen up in the bathroom before emerging, feeling drained but relieved to be out of the battle-worn attire.
She collapsed onto the bed with a sigh, feeling the weight of the day settle over her like a heavy blanket. Inosuke, unusually quiet, watched her from his spot on the edge of the bed. His usual brash demeanor had softened in the presence of exhaustion and perhaps something more.
Inosuke hesitated for a moment, then reached out to gently brush a stray strand of hair from Shelyn's face. His touch was surprisingly tender, a stark contrast to his usual roughness. Shelyn stirred slightly, her eyelids fluttering as she sensed his presence.
"Inosuke," she murmured softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
He leaned in closer, his heart pounding in his chest. Without a word, Inosuke closed the distance between them, pressing his lips gently against hers. It was a brief, tender kiss, filled with unspoken emotions and the quiet understanding that had grown between them despite their differences.
When they parted, Shelyn gazed up at Inosuke, her eyes reflecting a mix of surprise and something deeper – a growing affection that had caught them both off guard.
"Inosuke," she whispered again, this time with a small smile playing on her lips.
He didn't respond with words, but the way he looked at her spoke volumes. In that quiet motel room, amid the remnants of the day's challenges, Shelyn and Inosuke found a connection that transcended their initial misunderstandings and clashes. It was a beginning, unexpected yet undeniable, of something new and promising between them.
As they settled into each other's presence, the night enveloped them in a comforting embrace, promising a future where their paths would intertwine in ways they had never imagined possible.
And in that moment, with the weight of the day lifting and their hearts beating in sync, Shelyn knew that despite the dangers they faced as demon slayers, having Inosuke by her side made it all worthwhile.
The night stretched on peacefully, wrapped in the quiet intimacy of newfound love.

Don't Care for an Old Man's Underwear! Ep 2 Stray Thoughts
Thanks again to @isaksbestpillow for making this watch possible.
Last time, we met Okita Makoto, a middle-aged supervisor of a copier sales company whose toxic masculinity has let him down in his professional and personal relationships. He regularly offends his juniors (especially the women on their team), his kpop stan wife, mangaka daughter, and queer son. An unlikely encounter with a self-assured gay man led to the start of a new friendship, and Okita has promised his son that he will work to update himself so he can connect with his family and peers.
I am a little sad for this man that the opening sequence was a dream. As off-putting as he is, I do think he genuinely cares for his family.
Mm, ruined it immediately by being rude to Moe.
Oh, Okita. You can't walk it back right away like that. You're going to kill the trust of your team. You just said that people have a right to their breaks.
Oof, that was painful. Growth is not easy and not a straight line.
Wow, finally a show captures the constant pressure heteronormativity places on you when you don't fit in with it. That was an excellent sequence when Kakeru hesitated at the door.
Genuinely, this show is doing really well so far. It's putting in a lot of empathetic work on a man whose position allows his bad behaviors to cause issues for other people. I like that the show doesn't demonize him, and shows that his actions come from a believable human place. I also like that they use the wise gay child to ask the big question: Do you want to connect with others, or have you given up on people altogether?
Bro, you really should not have opened her mail. Even if you were concerned you broke it, you should have just called her down. This is not cool.
I actually like this junior's explanation of why he wears a bra. I'm glad it wasn't a gender thing or even an expectedly queer thing. He just wanted to feel like he's supported and that's enough.
Okay, I'm very excited about Okita Makoto going to sell yaoi at a fan event. I hope he brings Igarashi Daichi with him.
This flashback for Moe was also so good. We all make flippant comments about things we don't like or understand all the time. We won't remember it, but the people around us might. In this case, Moe knows her father will never understand her passions and can't share them with him.
Yes, Daichi!!
Everything about this con is excellent so far. Makoto may be getting shock at everyone's outfits, but he picked up immediately at how determined everyone is and appreciates their discipline.
I love Apple.
Daichi doesn't know what a fujoshi actually is? There's something interesting here about a self-actualized gay not even participating in this part of fandom.
Okay, I'm alright with it. He has the right attitude.
"People who love something are strong." He's beginning to believe.
Yes, Daichi, go on your date!
I teared up when Moe got emotional about Makoto selling the books, and love them ending that moment with her scream about him looking inside the work as a way to check on Kakeru.
I'm glad Makoto only observed that moment between Daichi and that guy, and has to confront the practical reality that Daichi is gay, and not just some magical youth that helps him. Daichi has a life.
Ending on Makoto seeing Kakeru as he wants to be is an excellent way to end this, because he's forced to see that people find strength in passions outside of his experience and must apply it to the people in his life.
This show is so good. There are quite a few characters, and the way they're weaving them into the narrative of the episode is truly special. In this episode we had Kakeru struggling to leave the house because he can't feel safe being seen as he is, while Moe is fighting to get out of the house because she needs to be seen by her people. Makoto is trying, but he's still not ready to see everyone the way they are. This is so legible. I am rooting for everyone.

hey! i hope you're having a good day! i just read your (amazing!) asoue fic "ashes to ashes," and i was fascinated by the way you portrayed kit and olaf. i thought i'd send this ask because i'd really love to hear more of your thoughts on their dynamic if you feel like sharing? but if you don't feel like expanding on it, i totally understand! thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work on ao3!
OHH anon you are so kind...i apologize for being so extremely late but i just finished writing a little analysis so i figured now's about the right time to write a semi-legible response. might have been scary and incomprehensible otherwise. but i am finally here to scream and cry and thank you so desperately because im SO happy you enjoyed them AND decided to ask for more info! <3
to begin, i'd be absolutely inconsolable if i didn't point you towards @virginian-wolfsnake's fic the eye of the storm, probably one of my fave k&o fics of all time that delves into the meat of their relationship through the years from the perspective of kit. they're young and still excited by missions and flirty and tender and genuine, and, in time, when the rest of their world collapses, so do they--messy and tense and so wonderfully realistic you have to read it and then read it again. honestly, if you don't want to read the rest of this but still want an answer, just read that. but also read it anyway
and now i have to ask you to forgive me...i have not read the books in a very long time and while i know the netflix series (in comparison) is bad and awful and terrible, i have watched it a million times. so if i'm wrong on anything. that's why.
to begin, the version of olaf i depicted in my fic is at the height of his...how do you say...pathetic misery. not including the spiral he has during the series. to me, the death of his parents are the beginning of his downfall into something-like-insanity, but he's still (and will continue to be) recognizably himself, if that makes sense. he's always been messy and emotional and dramatic (see the line: "...Kit has seen him in worse states and with a much better view..."), but only now does he reveal not a different side of himself per se, but a different angle of one that already existed.
im a fervent believer that olaf's always been a little self destructive and a lot crazy. hes spent the greater half of his life coming to terms with the fact that he is intrinsically not as noble as the rest of vfd--hes impulsive and obnoxious and self-obsessed, barely even literate at times--and it takes a special kind of guy to carve the insignia of the organization full of people he despises into his own front door. still, his parents' death was a catalyst, meaning he wasn't entirely opposed to vfd beforehand. he probably liked the missions and the secrecy and the dramatics, obviously the disguises and everything, but i think before the night at the opera it was really just a source of fun for him. he never truly grasped the reality of it, the nature of his actions and the weight of his involvement. whether that was out of naivety or pure neglect of the facts is up for debate. (there's a little bit of this in the shattering of thalia and melpomene if that interests you at all, beloved anon. see the line: "...[Esme] could never compare to the extent to which [Olaf] removes himself from everyone else entirely. How he spends so much time worrying about himself he almost forgets to worry about himself...Esme could never truly get lost in her own greatness. Could never turn a blind eye to the inner workings of V.F.D.")
kit, on the other hand, definitely did. serving as a volunteer was her purpose, the sole thing she had to cling to. she dedicated her life to it, making conscious decisions to go against her moral code in the hope that it all truly was for a greater good. i think, at times, she could fall into her own little fits of self-destruction, putting vfd above herself entirely (see the line: "This wouldn’t be the first time she’d done something she would never truly volunteer for...he’d still spent year after year watching her run off...to do something she could never speak of." "...she still returned with clenched teeth and knit eyebrows, as though she had no choice in the matter at all.")
to avoid any more convolution, in my mind it goes something like this: both are volunteers--olaf born and raised (along with beatrice), kit torn from her family and thrust into the thick of it so early on its all she knows. they grow up, probably-definitely know each other but dont know each other until, say, late teens-early twenties?
up until then, they've been everything previously described, but intermingling with one another changes this. olaf's easygoing approach rubs off on kit, partly because she finds more joy in his company than in missions, partly because he makes every attempt to keep her from leaving. i like to think she tries to keep his relatively flimsy moral code in check, or at the very least restrain his temper to the best of her abilities.
to me, they're a simultaneously great and terrible couple. at their best, they counteract each other in a positive way as described above and serve as a welcome distraction from the realities of a crumbling vfd, a little island of tenderness and domesticity in the ocean of turmoil that surrounds them.
and at their worst, their personalities combat so violently it's hard to see how they ever could have been together. olaf deals out the worst of it, prone to neglect and self-isolation, a deeply inset refusal to discuss anything with her, an inclination towards firestarting and an increasingly poor reputation with everyone kit knows. then again, kit isn't free of blame (if you can call it that), she's just as opposed to talking anything out as he is, and her isolation takes on the shape of running off to do as many missions as as she can before she's dead on her feet. she's pulled in different directions--a well-instilled hatred towards firestarers, only further influenced by whatever rumours olaf's growing list of enemies supplies her, versus her love for him, her knowledge of who he really is, a concept that is often tested. (see the line: "He’s reminded of a fight they once had, about something or other, that ended in her angry admission that it was easier to be upset with him when he wasn’t nearby.")
anyway, the idea is they grow further and further apart both ideologically and physically/relationship-wise until the opera night and the crash following that (see: the whole fic!) and from then on i think they fall into something like an evil situationship. they barely see each other, complete opposite sides of the schism. i say situationship because i think when they do see each other (on missions, at events/in public, in private, etc.) it is just a terrible experience no matter what. they're both torn between hating the other for what they know about them/what they did (i like to think olaf finds out about kit supplying the darts) and reminiscing/yearning for what they once had.
for the sake of this i wont give my thoughts on whose baby kit has because that's a whole other thing (not really. its just more of a fun hc i think about on occasion as opposed to something concrete in canon or even my version of canon) but their scene in the end does make me insane. its a culmination of all the time spent wishing what happened didnt happen, almost as though theyre seeing each other for the first time once again, perhaps not blind to the past but looking away for (on olafs part) one final moment of normalcy.
i hope thats what you were looking for to any degree, anon. im a little rusty on my lore but they matter to me soo much. if i have to leave this on anything, its go read eye of the storm. kitlaf fic of all time.

Chapter 6
Masterlist
Tumblr media
I sat in the quiet warmth of my father’s study, enveloped by the familiar scents of aged wood and a faint hint of his cologne—comforting, like a thick blanket on a chilly night. Tonight, I was taking over Sam’s duties, giving him his last chance at a full night’s rest before my graduation and Bella’s party tomorrow. After that, Sam would have to push himself a little, staying up longer so I could experience a day meant to happen once in a lifetime. Once the celebrations were over, we’d resume our usual shifts, trading off until that red-headed bitch was dealt with once and for all.
I wandered aimlessly through the room, my fingers brushing against the worn spines of books that lined the shelves—books that held our tribal legends, stories of our ancestors, and the remembrances of our fallen. My father’s meticulous order was momentarily disrupted by my own quiet need to feel connected, so I started sorting a few books to help him stay organized. That’s when I saw it—a small, leather-bound book hidden behind the others, almost forgotten. Its handmade cover was worn, the leather strap keeping it closed tightly as if guarding whatever lay inside.
Curiosity took hold. I pulled the book free, setting it gently on my father’s desk before finishing up with the rest of the books. Something about it felt different—older, more personal. When I finally returned to it, I ran my hand across its dust-covered surface, and the moment I untied the strap, I felt a strange pull in my chest.
Opening the first page, my breath caught.
Calian Enapay.
My great-grandfather. The last known Alpha of Alphas to shift.
Time seemed to slow as I stared at the name, a flood of emotions washing over me. I had heard stories of him, but now, holding something that had belonged to him—his own words, his own thoughts—it felt like a piece of my heritage had finally come to life. The weight of his legacy, and what it might mean for me, settled heavily in my heart.
I had always known the stories of Calian Enapay from another book, but that version was written by the tribal historian of his time—a retelling, not the raw truth. This was different. This journal was directly from him, a piece of his soul in my hands. My pulse quickened as I skimmed through its pages, seeing line after line of his thoughts, his experiences, his struggles. It was like reaching across time to touch the mind of someone who truly understood what it meant to carry the weight of being an Alpha of Alphas.
I flipped back to the first page, eager to absorb every word. And there, in ink faded by time but still legible, was a note that made my breath hitch.
If you are reading this, you must be my blood descendant. The ink used throughout this journal requires either the smartest person to learn how to make it visible through a very specific chemical reaction, or you were born with the Alpha of Alphas gene. I highly doubt you are not my descendant, and thus I hope that the rest of this journal brings you assistance or even just comfort in the truth.
His personality leaped off the page, the dry humor and strength in his words strikingly similar to my own. I could feel his essence, like a mirror of myself, shining through every sentence. I couldn’t believe that I was holding the writings of my great-great-grandfather—personal words, written solely for me, meant to be discovered when I needed them most.
In this journal, I have written everything I have ever learned about myself and the pack. You will find secrets you may not yet have unlocked, and guidance on how to be the leader you were born to be. My hope is that through my story, you will find not only knowledge but comfort. You are not alone in this. Every true Alpha before and after me will face similar battles. By leaving this journal behind, I hope to offer you clarity and the understanding that we share this burden. One day, you will see that. Trust me.
My eyes welled with tears as I read his words, feeling the weight of his understanding settle over me. He knew—he truly knew the emotional strain I’d been shouldering. The isolation, the pressure. It was almost too much to bear at times, but here was proof that I wasn’t the only one. That the struggle was not a personal failure, but something woven into our lineage. He had faced it too, and now, through his words, he was guiding me.
I remembered how my father had shifted, just like his father before him, but they had never carried the Alpha gene. They followed their pack leaders, like every other wolf. People believed the legendary gene had been lost over generations. But when I shifted, that spark of curiosity reignited—perhaps the gene still existed within us, dormant, waiting for the right time, the right person.
I brought the journal with me as I made my way to the swinging bench outside, the one Paul had built for my father and me as a graduation gift. It had quickly become my favorite spot, especially during my alpha shifts. Sitting there gave me a clear line of sight to the woods, and I could easily pick up on the patrol’s movements if they needed me. It also made it easier for them to find me, should anything happen. Plus, there was the added benefit of catching a Cold One’s scent on the wind before they got too close.
I curled up on the bench, tucking my knees to my chest, the journal resting in my lap. The night was still, the air cool, and I felt a strange sense of calm as I opened to one of the first entries, letting Calian’s words pull me into his world.
Oct 14th 1920
The winds spoke to me that night, louder than they ever had before. I had always known that I was different from the others—the bloodline of the Alpha of Alphas flowed in me, just as it flows in you now. But it wasn’t until the night of the First Eclipse that I truly understood what that meant.
The elders always told the story of the Wolf Spirit, the ancient guide of our kind. But most believed it was a myth, a tale to comfort us in the times of war. My own father believed that the strength of an Alpha came solely from the physical—his claws, his speed, his strength. But I knew there was more. I could feel it, deep within my bones, a power beyond the flesh. It was not simply about leading the pack; it was about becoming one with the earth and sky, with the unseen forces that tied us to this land. That night, I was shown how.
It began with a dream—a vision of the Wolf Spirit walking alone through the woods, its fur shimmering under the moonlight, eyes glowing like embers. It stopped before me, its gaze piercing through my soul. ‘Your strength is untapped,’ it said, though its mouth did not move. ‘You see, but you do not truly see. You hear, but you do not truly listen. Your senses are dulled by the weight of what you think it means to lead.’
I didn’t understand at first, but the Spirit guided me deeper into the woods, to a place our tribe calls the Vale of Echoes, where no light reaches the ground, and the air itself feels thick with silence. It is said that the ancestors’ voices still live in that vale, whispering truths only the worthy can hear. The Spirit led me to the center, where the trees seemed to breathe with me, their roots connected to something greater than this world. It was then I was told the truth.
The senses you rely on—sight, hearing, touch—are only shadows of the power you carry. You must unlock the deeper senses, those bound by instinct and the soul itself. You are the Alpha of Alphas. The earth beneath your feet, the wind in your ears, the fire in your heart—they all speak to you, if only you listen.
I was told to still my mind and close my eyes, to let the hum of the earth fill me. The moment I let go of my human thoughts—my doubts, my fears—the world came alive in ways I had never imagined. My sense of smell heightened until I could detect the faintest scent of life miles away. I could hear the heartbeat of the forest, the flutter of wings from a distant owl. My vision expanded, even with my eyes closed, as if I could see the world not just as it was, but as it would be. And with this, my connection to the pack became even stronger. I could sense their emotions, their pain, their hopes—just as I could my own.
The Spirit showed me that this power was not a gift, but a responsibility. To feel so deeply, to sense so fully, meant that I must protect not only with my strength, but with my wisdom and foresight. ‘You are not simply the Alpha,’ it said. ‘You are the guardian of the unseen. The Alpha of Alphas leads not through domination, but through connection—to the land, to the pack, and to the spirits who came before.
When I awoke from the vision, I was no longer the same. I returned to the pack, but I chose not to lead them. I knew then that my role was not to rule, but to guide from the shadows, to be a protector when they needed me most. The Alpha of the pack fought with his body, but I fought with my spirit. And it was enough.
You are at the cusp of understanding what it means to unlock the power within you. Remember, your strength lies not just in your ability to fight, but in your ability to listen, to connect. Still your mind, seek the quiet places, and let the earth, the wind, and the spirit of the wolf guide you. Only then will you truly awaken the power within.
I closed the journal, my fingers trembling as I absorbed the last words of the entry. My great-grandfather’s voice echoed in my mind, his teachings resonating deeply with the struggles I had faced since my shift. It wasn’t just a story about power or leadership—it was about understanding the true essence of what it meant to be the Alpha of Alphas. The weight of his wisdom filled me with an overwhelming sense of responsibility.
The past few months flashed through my mind, all the challenges I had navigated as a full-shifted Alpha. I had been leading, patrolling, fighting—using my strength, just as the others had. But I hadn’t understood the deeper truth, not until now. Sure, I had survived a couple of full moons, but tomorrow night… tomorrow would be different. It would be the first eclipse since I shifted. The air itself felt heavier, buzzing with something ancient that I couldn't yet fully comprehend.
If I hadn’t found this journal—if fate hadn’t placed it in my hands tonight—I knew I would have been walking into the unknown, unprepared. The eclipse wasn’t just another celestial event. It would be a test, a moment of awakening. I realized now that I’d been standing at the threshold of something much larger than myself.
My fingers traced the edges of the journal as I thought back to my ancestors’ journey. Calian had written about the Wolf Spirit, the ancient guide who showed him the deeper senses, the true strength that went beyond physical dominance. I had never allowed myself to quiet my mind enough to listen—to really see. But now, his words were unlocking a part of me that had been dormant.
The sense of timing was almost uncanny. Had I found this journal any later, I would have been completely unprepared for the eclipse and the deeper awakening it promised. Tomorrow was no ordinary night. It wasn’t just about strength anymore. It was about understanding. About listening. About connection.
The weight of it all pressed down on me, but for the first time, I felt ready—not just to face the eclipse, but to face the part of myself that I had been avoiding. This wasn’t just a fight for survival. It was a journey to become the Alpha of Alphas in spirit as well as body. Calian’s words had given me the map.
I heard a distant howl, low and familiar—it was Sam. He must have shifted and was on his way, likely to catch up on anything he’d missed since he’d gone to sleep. As I waited, I glanced up at the moon, feeling its pull, the way it connected me to the earth and sky. A few moments later, Sam’s large form emerged from the treeline, his massive paws making almost no sound as he trotted toward me.
I stood up from the bench and met him halfway, my arms crossing over my chest as I offered a small smile. “Hey Sam. Not much to update you on,” I said, my voice steady. “It’s been a pretty smooth day—no rogues, no issues.” I paused, raising an eyebrow. “I’ll see you the morning after the grad party, right?”
Sam’s large wolf head dipped in a nod, his amber eyes holding mine for a moment longer.
I grinned, feeling the bond between us through the pack’s mindlink. “Remember, this is the only time I’m letting you pull a 24-hour day. So don’t get used to it.”
Through the link, I caught a flash of his response—warm laughter. He reassured me, promising he’d keep his word about staying healthy. I’m not breaking that promise, he sent through the mindlink, his tone light but sincere.
As the sun began to rise, casting its golden light over the horizon, I left Sam to finish his duties and started back toward my house. The warmth of the early morning brushed against my skin, but before I could step inside, I heard the familiar sound of paws hitting the earth. I turned just in time to see a gray wolf dash behind a nearby tree, and a moment later, Paul emerged, fully clothed, with that boyish grin I couldn’t resist.
"Hey, babe," he greeted, his voice warm and soft, "I was hoping you’d want to cuddle while you sleep before your graduation?"
I couldn’t help but smile, the exhaustion of the day starting to weigh on me, but his offer made it all melt away. I nodded, and his smile grew wider as he gently took my hand, leading me inside.
The house was still quiet, everyone fast asleep as we quietly made our way to my room. I placed the journal carefully on my small bookshelf, my mind still buzzing with the insights from my great-great-grandfather’s words. With that settled, I changed into my pajamas—soft shorts and one of Paul’s old shirts, the one he’d left behind a while ago.
Paul’s eyes lit up when he saw me in it, a smirk tugging at his lips, and through our bond, I felt a rush of warmth and love fill my chest. The simple act of wearing his shirt seemed to deepen the connection between us, a silent reminder of how much we meant to each other.
Without a word, we slid into bed together, his arms wrapping around me as I nestled against his chest, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat lulling me toward sleep. In his embrace, I felt safe, grounded, ready for whatever tomorrow would bring.
When I woke up, I realized I’d slept for about eight hours. As much as I wanted to stay wrapped up in Paul’s arms, basking in the warmth of his embrace, I knew I had to get up if I wanted enough time to prepare for the day.
I slipped out of bed, gathering the things I needed for a shower. Paul stirred, watching me with a playful smile. “Mind if I join you?” he teased, his voice low.
I shot him a look over my shoulder. “You could, but I doubt we have time for what might come after that.”
Paul chuckled, his smile growing wider. “That’s true. Besides, I wouldn’t want our first time together to be in the shower. I’d make it more special, something romantic.”
I giggled at his words, feeling the warmth of his affection in every playful word. “You’re too much,” I said, shaking my head as I disappeared into the bathroom to shower.
Within the hour, I had cleaned up and dressed for graduation, excitement and nerves buzzing through me. Paul, ever reliable, drove my father and me to the venue. As soon as I spotted Bella among the sea of students, I dashed off to join her in line.
Graduation was exactly as long and boring as I had expected—endless speeches, names being called one by one, the occasional cheer from the crowd. But I couldn’t help the small spark of pride swelling in me as I walked across the stage to grab my diploma.
Once it was finally over, I joined Bella and Edward for the ride to the Cullens' house for her grad party. Paul had already agreed to take my father back home, knowing full well there was no way he could keep his temper in check at a vampire-filled event. He wasn’t the type to mince words, and even though I knew he respected my choices, he preferred to stay behind and hang with my dad rather than risk a confrontation.
As Edward drove, the quiet of the car felt like a brief moment of peace, the excitement of the party looming ahead. I reminded myself that as soon as it was done, I’d be back home with Paul, where everything felt right.
As we pulled up to the Cullens' house, the soft glow of the lights spilling out onto the driveway did nothing to ease the tension in my chest. Bella sighed beside me, looking as uneasy as I felt. This party wasn’t for me—I’d made it clear that I didn’t want one, and thankfully, everyone had respected that. But Bella wasn’t so lucky. Alice had insisted on throwing a celebration for her, and while Bella hated the attention as much as I did, there was no saying no to Alice.
“I really wish we could’ve just skipped this,” Bella muttered as she stepped out of the car, her expression a mix of dread and exhaustion.
“I hear you,” I said with a quiet laugh, nudging her. “I got out of mine, but I’m still stuck here. Just think of it as the lesser evil.”
She rolled her eyes but gave a small smile. “Lucky you. I should’ve tried harder to get out of it.”
Edward lingered by the car, his eyes filled with concern as he watched Bella. He wasn’t fond of the idea of her being the center of attention either, but there was no stopping Alice once she had her mind set on something. As we walked toward the house, Bella glanced at me and shook her head.
“I can’t believe Alice went all out for this,” she said under her breath. “It’s just graduation.”
“I know, but you know how she is. This is basically her version of a holiday,” I said, trying to keep things light, even though the thought of mingling inside made me just as uncomfortable.
As we stepped inside, the party was already in full swing—Alice had, of course, spared no expense. The house was bathed in soft light, the decorations a perfect mix of elegance and celebration. Music played in the background, and people were scattered around the living room, chatting and laughing.
Bella winced slightly as we stepped into the center of it all. “This is gonna be a long night,” she whispered, giving me a sidelong glance.
“I’ll stick with you,” I promised. “At least that way you won’t be suffering alone.”
Bella smiled faintly. “Deal.”
The party dragged on like we expected, with people coming up to Bella, congratulating her and trying to make small talk. She did her best to stay polite, but I could tell she was as uncomfortable as I was. Every now and then, she’d give me a look that said exactly how done she was with it all. We were the same—neither of us enjoyed being in the spotlight, and yet here we were.
But as the night stretched on, something started to feel… off. I couldn’t put my finger on it at first, but the air in the room felt different—heavier, more tense. Bella sensed it too. She kept looking around, her brow furrowing as the mood in the room shifted from festive to unnerving.
“Do you feel that?” she whispered to me, leaning in. “Something’s wrong.”
I nodded, keeping my eyes on Alice. “Yeah. Something’s up.”
Suddenly, I heard the quiet gasp of Alice. She stood perfectly still, her face blank as her eyes glazed over, deep in a vision. I tensed, my protective instincts flaring to life as I moved closer to Bella. Edward was already by her side, his face hardening as he looked at Alice with growing concern.
“Alice?” Edward called, his voice tight with urgency.
Alice didn’t respond. Her body remained frozen, her face tight with concentration, as if she were trapped in whatever vision had taken hold of her. The room seemed to hold its breath, waiting for her to snap out of it.
When Alice finally blinked back to reality, her expression was one of pure fear. The lighthearted party atmosphere evaporated in an instant.
“They're coming,” Alice said, her voice low and strained, her eyes locking onto Edward. “A vampire army. Victoria’s army. They’re coming for Bella.”
